The incidence of 5-azacytidine-induced exencephaly was compared between MT/HokIdr strain (MT) and Slc:ICR strain (ICR) mice. MT mice have a genetic predisposition for exencephaly, but ICR mice do not. Pregnant mice were given 5-azacytidine (1 mg/kg to 100 micrograms/kg) injected intraperitoneally on Day 7.5 of gestation (vaginal plug day = Day 0.5), and fetuses were observed for external malformations on Day 18.5 of gestation. One hundred micrograms/kg 5-azacytidine induced exencephaly in MT mice but not in ICR mice, and 1 mg/kg 5-azacytidine resulted in resorptions in MT mice but caused exencephaly in ICR mice. These results indicated that MT mice had 10-fold more sensitivity to 5-azacytidine than ICR mice. It seems likely that less than effective doses of teratogens for animals without genetic predispositions are still effective in inducing malformations in animals with a genetic predisposition for malformations. When 4-somite-stage embryos of both MT and ICR mice were cultured in rat serum supplemented with 5-azacytidine, 0.02 micrograms/ml 5-azacytidine induced the failure of closure of cephalic neural tube in MT embryos but not in ICR embryos, and 0.2 micrograms/ml 5-azacytidine induced severe growth retardation in MT embryos but in ICR embryos it only induced embryos with smaller heads and fewer somites than in control. These results indicated that MT mouse embryos in culture also had a 10-fold-increased sensitivity to 5-azacytidine compared with ICR mouse embryos, suggesting maternal effects play no significant role in their increased sensitivity to 5-azacytidine.  相似文献

1. A saponin isolated from the Chinese herb zhi-mu (Anemarrhena asphodeloides Bunge) modifies alpha-fetoprotein production when injected into newborn rats. 2. The serum level of AFP was determined quantitatively by immunorocket electrophoresis. 3. AFP serum levels were reduced to 60% of the control by zhi-mu saponin (ZMS). 4. The lower AFP level in drug treated rat serum is not due to a change in the pattern of serum AFP variants. 5. AFP mRNA levels in ZMS-treated rat livers, measured by RNA dot hybridization, decreased to about 50% of control levels after 4 days treatment. 6. Results from tritium labeled dexamethasone competition assays suggest that ZMS may act on AFP gene expression through glucocorticoid receptor mediated action.  相似文献

DNA methylation is an important mechanism for regulation of gene expression during vertebrate development. 5-azacytidine is used as an experimental tool for demethylation. In this work, a single dose of 5-azacytidine (5 mg/kg body weight) was administered to rats at different stages of development. After 5-azacytidine administration on the first or third day of pregnancy, no changes were detected. After administration on the fourth day of pregnancy or later, a reduction in growth was observed. After treatment on day five and on any other day till day eleven of pregnancy, no living fetuses were found. Of those treated on day twelve, 24% of fetuses survived, but forelimb and hindlimb malformations were present. Administered on day thirteen, 5-azacytidine did not interfere with survival, but malformations were still present. From day fourteen on, 5-azacytidine caused no gross external malformations. Placentas were also influenced by 5-azacytidine. They were significantly smaller and histological evaluation showed the labyrinthine part to be severely reduced. In contrast, trophoblast giant cells were more abundant than in controls.  相似文献

1. Turkey embryos were incubated in ovo or in long-term shell-less culture (ex ovo) for 14, 18, 22 or 26 days. The embryos incubated ex ovo exhibited a progressive decline in the rate of growth and were hypocalcemic and hypoproteinemic compared to their in ovo counterparts from day 18 to day 26 of incubation. 2. The ratio of the concentrations of alpha-fetoprotein and albumin (AFP/A) in serum was determined for both groups of embryos. The AFP/A ratio may be useful as a biochemical index to stage avian embryonic development. Using this index it was concluded that ex ovo embryos exhibited a progressive developmental retardation compared to in ovo embryos. 3. Significant differences were observed in serum trace element concentrations for embryos incubated in ovo vs ex ovo. Most notably, serum copper concentration was significantly lower in ex ovo embryos on days 18 and 22 of incubation and significantly higher on day 26 of incubation compared to serum from embryos incubated in ovo. 4. Livers from embryos incubated ex ovo exhibited significant differences trace element levels compared to those incubated in ovo. By day 26 of incubation the concentration and total amount of zinc and iron were markedly elevated, whereas copper was greatly reduced in the livers of embryos incubated ex ovo compared to the corresponding in ovo levels. 5. Hearts from embryos incubated ex ovo contained less zinc and copper and more iron by day 26 of incubation than those from embryos incubated in ovo.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

The effects of chronic neonatal hyperthyroidism in rats on the ontogenic pattern of serum corticosterone and growth hormone (GH) were studied. Thyroxine (T4) treated and saline injected rat pups were sacrificed under basal and stress conditions. In comparison to saline control animals, daily T4 administration (0.4 micrograms/gram body weight) produced a sustained elevation in basal corticosterone levels by day 12 and a significant elevation of serum corticosterone in response to stress by day 4. The serum GH levels in non-stressed animals were moderately decreased in response to T4 administration as compared to saline injected animals with a greater reduction in GH measured in samples obtained from stressed animals. The results indicate that chronic T4 administration influences the developmental pattern of serum corticosterone and GH under both non-stress and stress conditions.  相似文献

Caffeine injected at doses of 20, 40 and 80 mg/kg increased brain levels of tryptophan, 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and 5-hydroxyindole acetic acid (5-HIAA) in rat brain. In view of a possible role of 5-HT in caffeine-induced depression the effects of repeated administration of high doses of caffeine on brain 5-HT metabolism are investigated in rats. Caffeine was injected at doses of 80 mg/kg daily for five days. Control animals were injected with sahne daily for five days. On the 6th day caffeine (80 mg/kg) injected to 5 day sahne injected rats increased brain levels of tryptophan, 5-HT and 5-HIAA. Plasma total tryptophan levels were not affected and free tryptophan increased. Brain levels of 5-HT and 5-HIAA but not tryptophan decreased in 5 day caffeine injected rats injected with sahne on the 6th day. Plasma total and free tryptophan were not altered hi these rats. Caffeine-induced increases of brain tryptophan but not 5-HT and 5-HIAA were greater in 5 day caffeine than 5 day sahne injected rats. The findings are discussed as repeated caffeine administration producing adaptive changes in the serotonergic neurons to decrease the conversion of tryptophan to 5-HT and this may precipitate depression particularly in conditions of caffeine withdrawal.  相似文献

Cisplatin (CDDP) is a widely used anticancer drug, but at high dose, it can produce undesirable side effects such as hepatotoxicity. Because silymrin has been used to treat liver disorders, the protective effect of silymarin on CDDP-induced hepatotoxicity was evaluated in rats. Hepatotoxicity was determined by changes in serum alanine aminotransferase [ALT] and aspartate aminotransferase [AST], nitric oxide [NO] levels, albumin and calcium levels, and superoxide dismutase [SOD], glutathione peroxidase [GSHPx] activities, glutathione content, malondialdehyde [MDA] and nitric oxide [NO] levels in liver tissue of rats. Male albino rats were divided into four groups, 10 rats in each. In the control group, rats were injected i.p. with 0.2 ml of propylene glycol in saline 75/25 (v/v) for 5 consecutive days [Silymarin was dissolved in 0.2 ml of propylene glycol in saline 75/25 v/v]. The second group were injected with CDDP (7.5 mg /kg, I.P.), whereas animals in the third group were i.p. injected with silymarin at a dose of 100 mg/kg/day for 5 consecutive days. The Fourth group received a daily i.p. injection of silymarin (100 mg/kg/day for 5 days) 1 hr before a single i.p. injection of CDDP (7.5 mg/kg). CDDP hepatotoxicity was manifested biochemically by an increase in serum ALT and AST, elevation of MDA and NO in liver tissues as well as a decrease in GSH and the activities of antioxidant enzymes, including SOD, GSHPx in liver tissues. In addition, marked decrease in serum NO, albumin and calcium levels were observed. Serum ALT, AST, liver NO level, MDA was found to decreased in the combination group in comparison with the CDDP group. The activities of SOD, GSHPx, GSH and serum NO were lower in CDDP group than both the control and CDDP pretreated with silymarin groups. The results obtained suggested that silymarin significantly attenuated the hepatotoxicity as an indirect target of CDDP in an animal model of CDDP-induced nephrotoxicity.  相似文献

The effect of the main psychoactive component of marihuana, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) was investigated on the onset of puberty and on the reproductive function in female rats up to the seventy-fifth to eightieth day of life. The drug was administered i.p. at a dose of 1 microgram/kg/day between the twenty-second postnatal day and the day of vaginal opening (V.O.). The administration of THC caused a 2-day delay in V. O., and the number of ova on the day of first estrus was significantly lower in treated rats than in controls. No differences were observed in serum gonadotropin and prolactin (PRL) levels on the day of V. O. After puberty, alterations occurred in the neuroendocrine functions of animals receiving THC that persisted until adulthood: estrous cycles were irregular, the number of ova in animals killed 35-40 days after V. O. was reduced, and serum luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels were decreased (diminution of serum FSH content was less expressed). An increase in serum PRL concentration could be demonstrated only in animals killed on the day of estrus. From these results, it might be concluded that THC administered to prepubertal rats--even in a very low dose--causes long-term irreversible alterations in reproductive functions. The importance of the fight against drug abuse is emphasized.  相似文献

F9 teratocarcinoma cells can be grown as monolayers or aggregates, and upon treatment with retinoic acid they will differentiate into parietal or visceral endoderm, respectively. Visceral endoderm specifically synthesizes alpha-fetoprotein and albumin mRNAs, which are not found in parietal endoderm. In contrast, both endoderms produce enhanced levels of the major histocompatibility antigen (H2) mRNA compared with F9 cells. F9 cells contain highly methylated DNA as judged by restriction enzyme digestion. However, upon differentiation into visceral endoderm, there is a genome-wide loss of methylation in induced, silent, and constitutively expressed genes. Experiments in which methylation loss is induced via the methyltransferase inhibitor 5-azacytidine result in no induction of alpha-fetoprotein mRNA and no morphological differentiation, suggesting that methylation loss alone is not sufficient to induce the visceral endoderm phenotype. Likewise, 5-azacytidine treatment of differentiated cells does not result in enhanced expression of alpha-fetoprotein mRNA. However, the patterns of loss of DNA methylation at all sites examined after differentiation or 5-azacytidine treatment were remarkably similar, suggesting that the two occur by a similar mechanism, the inhibition of DNA methyltransferase activity. These results argue that the specificity for methylation loss at a given site is an inherent property of aggregated F9 cell chromatin. This system provides a model for studying a tissue-specific change in DNA methylation upon differentiation.  相似文献

The potential role of macrophages and T lymphocytes in the destruction of the corpus luteum at the end of the luteal phase was investigated by treating pseudopregnant rabbits with the immunosuppressant glucocorticoid methylprednisolone. Eleven specific pathogen-free New Zealand White rabbits were injected with pregnant mares' serum gonadotrophin (40 iu, i.m.), followed 2 days later by human chorionic gonadotrophin (40 iu, i.v.) to stimulate ovulation. The following day (day 1 of pseudo-pregnancy) all animals had an oestradiol-filled Silastic capsule implanted s.c., to ensure that oestradiol, the luteotrophic hormone in this species, would not be limiting. From day 10 of pseudopregnancy, three animals were injected with a low dose of methylprednisolone (2 mg kg-1 per day) until day 20. Three other animals were injected with a higher dose of methylprednisolone (20 mg kg-1 per day) from day 13 of pseudopregnancy until day 19. Five animals served as control, vehicle-injected animals. Blood samples were taken at intervals and assayed for progesterone. Immunofluorescence was used to stain luteal tissue for macrophages, T lymphocytes and class II antigens, and positive cells were counted under high-power magnification. Methylprednisolone treatment reduced (by about 70%), but did not eliminate, the macrophages in the regressing corpora lutea. In contrast, the high dose of methylprednisolone essentially eliminated T lymphocytes, and reduced (by about 90%) the number of cells expressing class II antigen in the luteal tissue. Despite the effects of methylprednisolone on these cells, serum progesterone profiles were not altered by treatment with methylprednisolone, and pseudopregnancy was of normal duration.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

Adult male rats were subjected to 4 weeks of 50% food restriction under lighting regimen of 14 h light and 10 h dark. The pineal response to isoproterenol (ISO) was determined. In the time-course study, animals were injected with 0.5 mg/Kg ISO subcutaneously (SC) and killed at different times up to 180 min post injection. In the dose-response study, various doses of ISO (0.2 mg/Kg to 5.0 mg/Kg) were injected intraperitoneally (IP) and animals were killed 120 min post injection. Body weight, pineal N-acetyltransferase (NATase), pineal and serum melatonin (MT) were determined. After 4 weeks of restricted feeding, body weight was reduced by 40%. In the time-course study, peak pineal NATase occurred 120 min post injection in the ad libitum fed animals. By contrast, the food restricted animals showed a gradual increase of pineal NATase up to 180 min post injection. In the dose-response study, the ad libitum fed animals demonstrated a dose dependent increase of pineal NATase up to 5 mg/kg dose. The food restricted animals, however, achieved their maximal pineal NATase at 1 mg/Kg dose with no further increment at 5 mg/Kg dose. These differences in responsiveness were also reflected in pineal and serum MT levels. These results indicate that underfed animals have abnormal pineal NATase, pineal and serum MT responses to ISO stimulation.  相似文献

Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors are widely used in therapy of cardiovascular diseases. However, the consensus on effects of these inhibitors in control of myocardial oxygen consumption during the process of experimental hypercholesterolemia and under the condition of endothelial dysfunction has not been reached. Here we examined effects of captopril, an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor, on serum lipid levels and oxygen consumption rate in mitochondria isolated from heart of rabbits treated by hypercholesterolemic diet. During the twelve-week period, the Chinchilla male rabbits were daily treated by saline (controls); 1 % cholesterol diet; 5 mg/kg/day captopril or 1 % cholesterol + 5 mg/kg/day captopril. Total- and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglyceride in serum were measured spectrophotometrically. The left ventricle mitochondrial fraction was isolated and myocardial oxygen consumption was measured by Biological Oxygen Monitor. Mitochondria isolated from hearts of rabbits exposed to hypercholesterolemic diet showed significantly reduced respiration rates (state 3 and state 4) with altering adenosine diphosphate/oxygen ratio, whereas the respiratory control ratio was not affected when compared to controls. Mitochondria from cholesterol/captopril-treated animals showed significantly reduced respiration rates without altering adenosine diphosphate/oxygen ratio index or respiratory control ratio. Although captopril did not exert the favorable effect on serum lipid levels in cholesterol-treated animals, it restored the mitochondrial oxygen consumption. Further studies should be performed to define the underlying physiological and/or pathophysiological mechanisms and clinical implications.  相似文献

Isoproterenol (1 mg/kg) was subcutaneously injected into adult male rats during the day to stimulate pineal N-acetyltransferase (NAT) activity and pineal and serum melatonin levels. Two hours after isoproterenol administration when levels of each of these variables had increased significantly, the experimental animals swam for 10 min in 22 degrees C water. At 15 min after swimming onset, pineal and serum melatonin levels were highly significantly depressed compared to those in control animals that did not swim. The high NAT level was not influenced by swimming. In a second study, isoproterenol injected rats swam for either 1, 3, 6 or 10 min and were sampled 15 min after the onset of swimming. The reduction in the elevated pineal melatonin in these animals was correlated with the length of the swim, i.e., as the duration of swim increased the percent reduction in pineal melatonin also increased. Neither pineal NAT nor hydroxyindole-O-methyltransferase (HIOMT) activities were influenced by swimming. The results suggest that elevated pineal and serum melatonin induced by isoproterenol can be depressed with no effect on the activity of the enzymes which convert serotonin to melatonin.  相似文献

Rat liver glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) and malic enzyme (ME) activities were increased by starvation-refeeding to levels above those found in rats fed ad libitum. The increases in enzyme activities above ad libitum-fed levels were prevented by 8-azaguanine and 6-azauridine, but not by 2-azauridine. Blood insulin levels were not affected at the time studied. Two aza analogs, 8-azaadenine and 5-azacytidine, proved to be too toxic in this type of studies. Since 8-azahypoxanthine, 8-azaxanthine and 5-azauracil were neither effective in preventing the enzyme overshoot, nor toxic to the animals, it was concluded that the toxiciyty to the animals of 8-azaadenine and 5-azacytidine is due to the compounds themselves rather than to the breakdown products.  相似文献

The effects of prolonged treatment with iron chelator (desferrioxamine) on the development of infection in mice inoculated with Y Trypanosoma cruzi were determined. Infected/treated mice presented lower levels of parasitemia and reduced mortality rate compared with infected/non-treated animals. The five out of twenty infected/treated mice that survived the acute phase of infection showed negative hemoculture and positive ELISA in the acute and chronic phases and positive PCR in the acute phase: in the chronic phase, three of the animals presented negative PCR. The single surviving infected/non-treated animal exhibited positive hemoculture, PCR and ELISA in both phases of infection. Infected groups presented lower levels of iron in the liver compared with treated/non-infected or non-treated/non-infected animals. The serum iron levels of the infected/non-treated group were higher on the 21st day post-infection in comparison with control and infected/treated groups. These results suggest that decrease of iron in the host leads to T. cruzi infection attenuation.  相似文献

We have studied the effect of thyroid disfunction during the postnatal period, on the serum and brain levels of rat alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) and albumin. Hypothyroidism was induced by treatment of pregnant rats and their newborn pups with 2-mercapto-1-methylimidazole(methimazole). Hyperthyroidism was provoked in newborns by daily injections of thyroxine (0.25 micrograms/g body wt) from the 3rd postnatal day weaning. Impaired growth, lower brain size, altered behaviour and morphological features observed were according to an altered thyroid status. Hypothyroid rats showed a significantly reduction in serum AFP concentration (78% of control values at 8 days of age) and a slight increase in that of albumin. level could be appreciated. Thyroxine supplementation (0.2 micrograms/rat/day) corrected most of these alterations. Hyperthyroidism induced a drastic fall in both serum and brain AFP levels (about 48% of the corresponding control values). Albumin concentration in serum was augmented significantly from the 12th postnatal day, but its brain levels did not change significantly. In hyperthyroid rats, a significant reduction (37% relative to controls) in the concanavalin A-non reactive microform of AFP, was observed. This alteration of the glycosylation pattern of AFP could be due to the inhibition by thyroxine of the activity of the hepatic enzyme GlcNAc-transferase III.  相似文献

The testosterone responses to a single injection of hCG (100 i.u.) in hypophysectomized (hypox.), cryptorchid or sham-operated rats were followed over a 5-day period. In sham-operated rats, hCG induced a biphasic rise in serum testosterone, peaks being observed at 2 and 72 h. Reduced testis weights, elevated FSH and LH levels and reduced serum testosterone levels were found after 4 weeks of cryptorchidism, but hCG stimulation resulted in a normal 2 h peak in serum testosterone. However, the secondary rise at 72 h in cryptorchid rats was significantly lower than sham-operated rats. Reduced testis weight and undetectable serum FSH and LH levels together with decreased testosterone levels were found 4 weeks after hypophysectomy. Serum testosterone levels rose 2 h after hCG in comparison to hypox. controls but this peak was significantly reduced compared with sham-operated rats. The second rise in serum testosterone began on day 2, peaking on day 4 at levels comparable to that seen in sham-operated rats after hCG. The in vitro basal and hCG stimulated secretion of testosterone by cryptorchid testes was greater than that secreted by normal rat testes (518.0 +/- 45.9 and 3337.6 +/- 304.1 pmol per testis per 4 h compared with 223.6 +/- 24.9 and 1312.9 +/- 141.4 pmol per testis per 4 h for normal rat testes). In cryptorchid animals a single injection of 100 i.u. hCG resulted in a pattern of in vitro refractoriness similar to normal rats, lasting from 12 h to 2 days, during which testosterone secretion was reduced to near basal levels. The in vitro basal and hCG-stimulated secretion of testosterone by hypox. rat testes was severely diminished compared with normal rat testes. The temporal pattern of in vitro secretion of testosterone from hypox. rat testes mimicked the in vivo serum testosterone pattern seen in these animals. This study demonstrates important differences in the in vivo and in vitro testosterone response to hCG after testicular damage.  相似文献

All gilts and sows in production from which the detailed production information was available in a 160-sow unit were included to the study. In winter-spring, there were complete data available from 47 animals and in summer-autumn from 64 animals. The farm had a consistent history of the seasonally reduced farrowing rate in summer-autumn. Success of inseminations was monitored during a 4-month breeding period in winter-spring and in summer-autumn. Each animal was bled twice a week for 6 weeks starting a day before insemination and the blood samples were assayed to determine serum progesterone concentration. The blood samples were also assayed for cortisol to detect any acute infectious response. Starting on day 18, animals were pregnancy tested by transcutaneous real time ultrasound twice a week. In winter-spring, the farrowing rate was 72% (58 inseminations, 1.2 inseminations/sow) and in summer-autumn 63% (81 inseminations, 1.3 inseminations/sow). In winter-spring, there was only one detected case of early disruption of pregnancy (EDP), whereas nine such cases were recognised in summer-autumn. Five out of those nine animals returned to oestrus with a mean insemination to oestrus interval of 25.8+/-1.6 days. One sow returned to oestrus 35 days after insemination and three sows did not return to oestrus within 45 days. However, two of these sows had progesterone profiles that indicated an undetected oestrus around day 25. In those nine animals, no acute phase infectious response as indicated by a rise in serum cortisol was evident. Serum progesterone concentrations in the animals eventually loosing the pregnancy tended to be lower on day 13 (no significant difference) and were significantly lower on day 20 when compared with animals remaining pregnant. There was no difference in serum progesterone levels of pregnant animals between winter-spring and summer-autumn. Litter size was not affected by the season. The weaning to oestrus interval tended to be longer in summer-autumn. This study showed that the seasonally decreased farrowing rate is partly caused by EDP. The lowered progesterone concentrations in summer-autumn were demonstrable only in "problem animals".  相似文献

OP (octylphenol), an environmental oestrogen was administered, and differentially expressed proteins were analysed in mice testes to clarify its mechanism of action in male sterility. Male Kunming suckling mice (10 days old) were subcutaneously injected with OP at a dose of 10 μg/kg per day, 50 μg/kg per day and 100 μg/kg per day as low-, medium- and high-dose groups, respectively, for 35 days. Animals in the control group received subcutaneous injections of olive oil at a dose of 10 μl/mouse per day. Serum oestradiol, testosterone, FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone) levels were measured on day 45. The left testes were removed for tissue analysis, and the right testes were analysed for differentially expressed proteins by using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and MS. Tissue analysis showed that mice spermatogenesis was blocked at the round spermatid stage in the high-dose group, whereas no such changes were found in the medium- and low-dose groups. Higher serum oestradiol (P<0.05) and lower testosterone (P<0.05) levels were found in the medium- and high-dose groups. There was no significant difference in serum oestradiol and testosterone levels in the low-dose and control groups. No significant influence of OP was seen on serum FSH and LH levels in all OP-treated animals. The results from four differentially expressed proteins such as PPIA (peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase A), PEBP1 (phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein1), TPI (triose-phosphate isomerase) and TCP-1 (T-complex protein 1) in the high-dose and control groups showed up-regulation of PPIA expression and down-regulation in PEBP1, TPI and TCP-1 expressions. These findings will contribute to clarify the mechanism of male sterility by environmental oestrogens.  相似文献

Clip compression method was used to produce acute spinal cord injury rats. Hyperbaric oxygen was administered twice daily for a total of eight 90 min-sessions at 2.8 atmospheres. Methylprednisolone was first injected with a bolus of 30 mg/kg followed with an infusion rate of 5.4 mg/kg/h for 24 h. Five days after clip application animals were sacrificed and their traumatized spinal cord segment were excised. Tissue levels of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) were evaluated to reflect oxidant/antioxidant status. Non-treated clip-operated animals reflected significantly higher SOD, GSH-Px and TBARS levels that were found to be significantly higher than the sham-operated. Methylprednisolone was not able to lower these levels. HBO administration diminished all measured parameters significantly; however, their levels appeared already to be high when compared with sham animals. According to these results obtained on the 5th day after induction, HBO, but not methylprednisolone, seems to procure prevention against oxidative spinal cord injury.  相似文献
