在室内条件下通过双通道选择实验确定艾虎(Mustela eversmanni)在通过不同气味源的场所中的取食量以及利用时间和利用频次,由此分析捕食者气味和猎物气味对艾虎取食行为的影响。研究结果表明,在无任何气味源存在时,艾虎在对照气味和对照气味组这两个场所中的取食量、活动时间和活动频次基本一致。在猎物高原鼠兔(Ochotona curzoniae)气味和对照气味组及高原鼢鼠(Myospalax baileyi)气味和对照气味组的两组实验中,艾虎在通过猎物气味的场所中的取食量、活动时间和活动频次与对照气味场所中比较也无明显的差异,但是在天敌动物赤狐(Vulpes vulpes)气味存在的条件下,艾虎明显减少在通过赤狐气味的场所中的取食量、活动时间和活动频次。同时,当间接捕食风险天敌动物赤狐气味存在时,艾虎明显增加了总的取食量,减少了在巢箱中居住的时间,而将更多的时间停留在无风险的场所中,这说明艾虎能够利用天敌动物赤狐的气味,采用增加取食量和减少高风险区域活动时间的策略来降低被捕食风险。 相似文献

在室内条件下,将高原鼢鼠(Myospalaxbaileyi)、高原鼠兔(Ochotonacurzoniae)和根田鼠(Microtusoeconomus)作为艾虎(Mustelaeversmanni)的猎物选择对象,研究艾虎对猎物的选择性及艾虎捕杀猎物的行为时间分配。实验结果表明:艾虎对三种猎物的搜寻时间和搜寻频次基本一致,在搜寻猎物的过程中并非已知洞道系统中所存在的食物信息,是一种机会主义的捕食者;艾虎除了具有典型鼬科动物捕杀猎物的方法外,能够根据猎物的大小、活动性和反捕食能力采用不同的捕杀方法,在捕杀猎物的过程中首先捕杀高原鼢鼠,其致死部位全部为头部,其次捕杀高原鼠兔,其致死部位除了头部外,明显增加了颈部的比例,最后捕杀根田鼠,其致死部位主要是头部和胸部;艾虎在捕杀猎物的过程中,追击根田鼠的时间最多,追击鼢鼠的时间最少,而用于捕杀根田鼠的时间最少,用于捕杀鼢鼠的时间最多,艾虎捕杀高原鼠兔后单位时间内获得的能量值最大,其次为捕杀高原鼢鼠,而捕杀根田鼠后单位时间内活动的能量值最小。因此,在室内条件下艾虎对猎物的选择性主要依赖于其本身处理猎物的行为时间分配和猎物的反捕食行为,使单位时间内获得的能量值最大. 相似文献

捕食者和猎物相互关系的研究,长期以来一直是动物生态学研究的中心课题之一。这种研究可区分为3种类型:第一是理论研究,即组建各种数学模型以便模拟捕食者和猎物间的相互关系;第二是实验种群研究,通常是在实验室内选用原生动物和节肢动物实验种群对捕食一猎物间的动态关系进行观察,并将观察结果与理论模型进行比较;第三是在田间对自然种群中的捕食者-猎物关系进行研究,并利用从理论研究和实验种群研究中所总结出来的各种基本原理对观察资料进行分析。在应用生态学领域中,常常靠引进新的更加有效的天敌来控制各种害虫。这些实际工作有些已获得成功,也有不少未取得预期效果,不管成功与否,它们都可被看作是对捕食者-猎物关系所进行的田间实验. 相似文献

本文通过分析在捕食的情况下猎物种群的平均绝对增长速率与捕食效应的关系以及捕食者的捕食平均绝对速率与猎物密度的关系,建立了捕食者-猎物功能响应的一般模型: 其中,A为捕食者与猎物行为常数,f(H_t)为待定函数。 在上述模型的基础上讨论了在捕食速率与猎物密度无关和有关时的功能响应行为。 通过对上面模型的分析,笔者认为功能响应模型按Holling的Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ型响应曲线相应划分很不方便。建议按“捕食速率与猎物密度无关或有关”两个类型划分。并认为Ⅲ型模型在昆虫中也能得到较广泛的应用。 相似文献

采用野外研究与室内研究相结合的方法研究了月光周期和光照对夜行性动物艾虎活动的影响。野外无线电遥测结果表明,艾虎的日活动时间不受月光周期的影响,雌雄艾虎在不同的季节及繁殖期和非繁殖期都有相对稳定的活动时间,其开始活动和结束活动的时间与月光周期和日出、日落都没有明显的相关性。室内模拟研究结果也表明,由于环境条件的变化,艾虎增加了白天的活动时间,但仍然以夜间活动为主,光照强弱对艾虎的活动格局和活动时间没有明显的影响。以上结果表明昼夜变换使艾虎形成了相对稳定的生物种节律,艾虎在取食过程中可能利用洞道等隐蔽场所降低明亮月光期的高捕食风险。 相似文献

2004年9月25日至10月15日,在内蒙古锡林郭勒盟阿巴嘎旗白音图嘎苏木研究了布氏田鼠(Lasiopodomys brandtii)秋季家群数量与来自艾虎(Mustela eversmanni)的捕食风险。布氏田鼠家群数量调查采用标志重捕法和最小已知存活数估计法(即MNA法)确定,而艾虎对布氏田鼠捕食风险的衡量指标采用在研究期间布氏田鼠洞群区新出现的艾虎粪便和挖掘痕迹。研究区面积4 hm2,涉及91个布氏田鼠家群,658只布氏田鼠,其中,17个布氏田鼠家群有新出现的艾虎粪便,5个家群被艾虎掘开。运用非参数的Mann-Whitney U检验进行数据分析,从艾虎遗留的粪便痕迹来看,未出现艾虎粪便的布氏田鼠家群总秩和为1 096,出现艾虎粪便的田鼠洞群秩和为3 090,统计量U=315,校正Z=﹣3.241,校正P=0.001 2;另外,从艾虎掘开的田鼠家群来分析,没有被艾虎挖掘的布氏田鼠家群秩和为3 757,而被艾虎掘开的田鼠家群秩和为429,统计量U=16,校正Z值为﹣3.514,P=0.000 4。两组差异达到极显著水平,表明艾虎对秋季高数量的布氏田鼠家群具有显著的优先访问和攻击偏好,也意味着高数量的布氏田鼠秋季家群具有更高的被艾虎捕食的风险。 相似文献

月光及光照作为一种捕食风险对许多动物的微生境利用有明显的影响。野外的无线电遥测资料和室风模拟光照强度的研究表明,艾虎在明亮的月光期明显增加了加平坦灌丛区域的利用时间,灌丛作用一种隐蔽场所减少了艾虎被捕食的风险,艾虎在明亮的月光期增加对灌丛的利用是一种反捕食策略,无论光照强度如何。艾虎对有隐蔽洞道区域的利用程度较高,在无隐蔽物区域采用短时间的活动方式,在有隐蔽物区域采用长时间活动方式。这表明艾虎在进化过程中形成了反捕食策略,而不是躲避捕食的策略。 相似文献

Dispersal behaviour was studied on a predacious phytoseiid mite, Phytoseiulus persimilisAthias-Henriot in response to the density of its prey, Tetranychus kanzawaiKishida . And the effect of the change in the rate of successful dispersal of the predators among patches was tested on the persistence of the predator-prey system. The results of the study are summarized as follows:
- With a severe decline in prey density available per individual predator, the predators exhibited a marked behavioural change and dispersed to other areas.
- When two neighboring host plants did not touch with each other and the dispersal of the predators was possible only through a 20cm plywood “bridge” which connected the two plants, the rate of successful dispersal of the predators was only 20 to 25%, whereas it was 95% when the plants touched with each other.
- In the system where 32 host plants touched with each other, the predators succeeded in immigrating into all the plants by the 16th day, and they completely eliminated all the prey by the 33rd day.
- In another system, the 32 plants were equally divided into eight “patches” which were connected with each other with two of the bridges and the predators could move between them only through the bridges as mentioned above. In such a system the predators and their prey coexisted about three times longer than in the other one.
- It is suggested that for a longer continued coexistence of the predators and prey, it would be necessary to introduce more physical barrier against the dispersal of the predators and to provide more chances for the prey to disperse.

With a combination of solvent extraction and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, we found eight new compounds in the two sympatric Mustela species, M. eversmanni and M. sibirica. These compounds had not been detected by headspace sampling with solvent desorption. Two of the newly detected compounds are nitrogen-containing compounds, indole and o-aminoacetophenone and the remaining are sulfur-containing volatiles. By comparing same and opposite sexes between the two Mustela species, we found that qualitative differences in the anal gland secretion are most likely to be used to code for information about species, corresponding to the idea of digital coding. In the Siberian weasel (M. sibirica), both presence or absence of sex-specific compounds (Z-2-ethyl-3-methylthietane only in females) and relative abundance of some compounds between males and females could be used to code for information about sex, corresponding to the idea of digital and analog coding, respectively. In the steppe polecat (M. eversmanni), only quantitative differences provided the possibility for inter-sexual communication. Thus coding for information about sex appeared to be digital. Coding for individual information could also be either digital or analog or both through the presence or absence of certain compounds and/or the difference in the relative abundances of certain compounds among individuals. Comparing with other Mustela spp., we failed to find a congruence between the chemical composition of anal gland secretions and the phylogenetic relationship among the species in this genus. 相似文献

Summary The relationship between relative body condition (deviation from expected mean body weight) and burying depth was investigated
in five macro-zoo benthic species living in a marine intertidal habitat. Body weight increased with depth when animals of
the same size were compared.
