Journal of Integrative Plant Biology (Formerly Acta Botanica Sinica) is the official English language journal of the Institute of Botany, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Botanical Society of China, and publishes original research articles, rapid communications and reviews dealing with all aspects of plant science.

The year 2016 was a wonderful and important one for Zoological Research (ZR).In recognition of its impressive progress and great potential to develop into a leading journal in the field,ZR is now supported by the "Project for Enhancing International Impact of China STM Journals" (PIIJ) (Class B) (2016-2018).Having wide coverage,PIIJ is the most influential project in China for supporting and promoting the development of English language academic journal publications.In addition,ZR has achieved the "lntemational Impact Academic Journal of China"title five years in a row.     

In Memory of Professor Ying-Xiang WANG

It is with deep regret and sorrow that Zoological Research (ZR) notes the passing away of Professor Ying-Xiang WANG on the 10th February 2016. Prof.WANG,a former Associate Editor-in-chief of ZR had made a distinguished contribution to the journal.His passing is a great loss for the joumal,but all the editorial board and editors of ZR will cherish his contribution.
