By means of chemical stimulation of subcortical structures it has been found that the cholinoreactive system of the basolateral part of amygdala is involved in realization of secretory component of alimentary conditioned reactions and takes no direct part in accomplishment of the instrumental component. Activation of the cholinoreactive system of the amygdalar basolateral part has an inhibitory effect and the blockade has an activating effect on the realization of the secretory component of alimentary conditioned reactions. A change in characteristics is observed of the differentiation inhibition and of the correlation of conditioned salivation in response to various stimuli presented in a stereotype order.  相似文献

The influence was studied of the near-threshold high- and low-frequency stimulation of the putamen on achievement of alimentary conditioned reflexes in dogs. Both low- and high-frequency activation of the examined structure significantly changes the parameters of intermediate secretion, of the salivary conditioned reflexes, without influencing unconditioned ones. Unilateral stimulation disturbs the achievement of positive and inhibitory conditioned reflexes to a greater extent than bilateral one. Difference between the effects of low- and high-frequency stimulation has been revealed.  相似文献

A study was made of the functional significance of GABA-ergic structures of the substantia nigra (SN) and the caudate nucleus (CN) and their role in food-procuring behaviour of cats. Analysis was made of behavioral and EEG-effects of local GABA and the GABA antagonist, picrotoxin, microinjections into the studied brain structures. Stimulation of the GABA-ergic structures of the SN produced a sedative effect and depression of the cat food-procuring behaviour. Effects of stimulation of the CN GABA-ergic structures were to a great degree reverse. The conclusion has been made that GABA-ergic structures of the SN and the CN play different roles in controlling the CN inhibitory influence upon food-procuring behaviour.  相似文献

Unit activity in the midbrain periaqueductal gray matter (PGM) during an instrumental placing reflex, its extinction, differentiation, and conditioned inhibition, was studied in chronic experiments on cats. Spike responses 1–2 sec in duration in 69 (36.7%) of 182 neurons preceded by 400–800 msec the beginning of conditioned-reflex and voluntary intertrial movements. These advanced responses appeared 200 msec before the corresponding advance responses of motor cortical neurons. Fifty-eight neurons (30.9%) responded directly to acoustic stimulation with a latent period of 10–50 msec for 2–6 sec, 19 neurons (10.1%) generated double responses, linked with both the acoustic stimulus and subsequent conditioned-reflex movement, and 42 neurons (22.3%) did not respond to acoustic stimulation, although individual neurons of this group changed the level of their spontaneous activity in response to repeated conditioned stimulation, and this change was maintained for some tens of minutes. Extinction, differentiation, and conditioned inhibition all abolished conditioned-reflex movements, but each type of internal inhibition was accompanied by its own characteristic changes in the firing pattern of PGM neurons. Functional independence of neurons of the first and second groups was demonstrated during extinction and recovery of the conditioned-reflex. The results indicate the important role of PGM not only in the mechanism of the conditioned reflex, but also in the development of its internal inhibition.A. A. Bilateral injections of 60 mcg of amphetamine and dopamine into the head of caudate nucleus produced in dogs a manifested impairment of parameters of Pavlovian alimentary conditioned reflexes but did not influence the conditioned differential inhibition. Injections of 10 mcg of haloperidol were ineffective. The most effective were the influences on the dorsal part of the caudate nucleus head.  相似文献

The experiments have been carried out on 6 dogs with type II conditioned alimentary reaction. After achieving the criterion in all animals the dorsomedial thalamic nucleus was destroyed by means of electrocoagulation. After the operation hypophagia developed with a rise in the number of intertrial responses and disinhibition of the alimentary conditioned reaction not exceeding 6 days. The obtained results confirm in part the hypothesis of Brutkowski who regarded this nucleus as belonging to a system controlling feeding behavior.  相似文献
