The leaves of 52 species of Lithocarpus in China were studied. The adaxial leaf epidermis was investigated by light microscopy. Epidermal cells of the adaxial surface were classified into three types on the basis of the outline of their anticlinal walls, i.e. sinuate, straight and curved. The abaxial leaf epidermis was investigated by light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The following types of trichome were observed: appressed parallel tuft, stellate, fused stellate, papillae, stipitate fasciculate, solitary unicellular, appressed laterally attached unicellular, curly thin‐walled unicellular, bulbous and thin‐walled peltate. The fused stellate, appressed laterally attached unicellular and curly thin‐walled unicellular trichomes were reported in Lithocarpus for the first time. The appressed parallel tuft trichome, which is recognized as a salient characteristic of Lithocarpus, was not found in 15 species. A cladistic analysis was performed on the basis of the leaf epidermal features. According to the leaf epidermal features and several morphological characteristics, 26 of the 52 species could be divided into seven groups. Similar groups can be found in Barnett's and Camus' systems. The trichomes of four genera in Fagaceae are listed and compared. Lithocarpus had 14 types of trichome, 11 of which were identical to types found in Quercus, more than in Castanopsis and Cyclobalanopsis. Leaves of 41 species of Castanopsis, six species of Castanea, and Chrysolepis chrysophyllum Hjelmq. were examined. In Castanopsis, all species possessed cyclocytic stomata with thickened subsidiary cells; thin-walled peltate trichomes are the most frequent type on the abaxial surface of the leaves of this genus. In Castanea, stomata are transitional between cyclocytic and anomocytic; thin-walled peltate trichomes were recorded for the first time on the abaxial surface of Castanea leaves. In Chrysolepis, cyclocytic stomata with non-thickened subsidiary cells and thick-walled peltate trichomes were observed. The thickened subsidiary cells support the placement of the “fissa-group” in Castanopsis. The results of this study support the idea that Castanopsis and Castanea are sister groups. Thick-walled peltate trichomes were only recorded in Chrysolepis, thus supporting its taxonomic separation from Castanopsis. The phylogenetic distribution of trichome types among genera of Fagaceae is summarized. The evolutionary trends of trichome types in Castanopsis are discussed, as are the implications of stomatal and trichome features on fossil identification and ecology.  相似文献

Talinum triangulare is an important medicinal herb used traditionally in the treatment of various diseases. The present study was intended to develop a rapid and efficient protocol for indirect organogenesis from leaf discs and transverse thin cell layer (tTCL) of internodal explants of T. triangulare. Best callusing response (100 %) was observed with tTCL explants on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with 4.44 μM 6-benzyl amino purine and 5.37 μM α-naphthalene acetic acid (NAA). High frequency shoot regeneration (96.67 %) was obtained from tTCL derived calli on MS medium supplemented with a combination of 0.45 μM thidiazuron and 0.27 μM NAA, by producing 9.20 ± 0.35 shoots with a shoot length of 2.74 ± 0.03 cm. In vitro rooting of the microshoots was recorded on half-strength MS medium containing 2.46 μM indole-3-butyric acid by eliciting 15.20 ± 0.27 roots with a length of 4.25 ± 0.11 cm. The rooted shoots were acclimatized on garden soil, sand and coco pith (1:1:3 v/v) planting substrate. The plantlets were successfully established under field conditions with 100 % survival rate. The hardened plants exhibited homogeneity and no observable morphological variations were detected among the regenerants and the mother plants of T. triangulare.  相似文献

通过植物专业网站及已发表的论文论著,查找每一种壳斗科植物在中国的具体分布地点(县),并采用地理信息系统技术,以县为空间数据的基本单元,以壳斗科植物为研究对象,从空间上获取多样性格局指标,定量研究中国壳斗科植物的属、类型的空间多样性格局。结果表明:(1)中国壳斗科植物中青冈属、栎属、锥属、柯属的斑块丰富度、多样性指数、斑块总数、总形状指数明显高于三棱栎属、栗属、水青冈属,而三棱栎属因只有一个斑块,属与种的空间多样性格局相同,与其他属明显不同。(2)中国壳斗科植物中属的空间多样性格局指标之间有一定的相关性,斑块丰富度、多样性指数、斑块总数、总形状指数相互之间、总面积与斑块总数、多样性指数、总形状指数之间呈显著正相关关系,总的最大斑块指数与均度指数之间呈显著负相关关系。(3)除三棱栎属外,其他属的斑块类型所占面积、占属面积的比例、斑块数目、最大斑块指数、形状指数各指标,基本上均随所在属斑块类型值的增加其相应指标依次降低,斑块类型与其他指标呈显著负相关关系。(4)中国壳斗科植物在青冈属、栎属、锥属、柯属中,每一个属种数为1~7的斑块类型所占面积之和、斑块数目之和分别占其属对应总指标的值均高于80%,表明种数较少的斑块类型构成了属的主要分布区,而种数较多的斑块类型,其各指标值均较低,分布范围很狭窄,但物种多样性高。  相似文献

A key evolutionary development facilitating land colonization in terrestrial isopods (Isopoda: Oniscidea) is the intermittent liberation of waste nitrogen as volatile ammonia. Intermittent ammonia release exploits glutamine (Gln) as an intermediary nitrogen store. Here, we explore the relationship between temporal patterns of ammonia release and Gln accumulation in three littoral oniscideans from Southern California. Results are interpreted in terms of water availability, habitat, activity patterns, and ancestry. A two-way experimental design was used to test whether ammonia excretion and Gln accumulation follow a tidal or diel periodicity. Ammonia excretion was studied in the laboratory using chambers with or without available seawater and using an acid trap to collect volatile ammonia. Ligia occidentalis releases ammonia directly into seawater and accumulates Gln during low tide (48.9 ± 6.5 μmol g?1 at low tide, 24.1 ± 3.0 μmol g?1 at high tide), indicating that excretion is tidally constrained. Alloniscus perconvexus and Tylos punctatus can excrete ammonia directly into seawater or utilize volatilization. Both species burrow in sand by day and show a diel excretory pattern, accumulating Gln nocturnally (31.8 ± 2.7 μmol g?1 at dawn and 21.8 ± 2.3 μmol g?1 at dusk for A. perconvexus; 85.7 ± 15.1 μmol g?1 at dawn and 25.4 ± 2.9 μmol g?1 at dusk for T. punctatus) and liberating ammonia diurnally. Glutaminase shows higher activity in terrestrial (0.54–0.86 U g?1) compared to intertidal (0.25–0.31 U g?1) species, consistent with the need to generate high PNH3 for volatilization. The predominant isoform in Armadillidium vulgare is phosphate dependent and maleate independent; phosphate is a plausible regulator in vivo.  相似文献

The characters of leaf epidermis (mainly epidermal cells, stomata, trichomes) have been examined in 48 species of Quercus subgen. Cyclobalanopsis of the Fagaceae. The adaxial leaf epidermis was investigated under light microscope. The epidermal cells of this surface are of two types in terms of the outline of their anticlinal wall. One type is characterized by having straight wall, and this type has been observed in most of the species studied, while the other is characterized by having sinuate or sinuolate wall, and this type has been found only in eight species, such as Q. blakei and Q. hui. There exist two types of trichome-bases on this surface: in one type the bases are singlecelled, and this type has been found in most of the species studied, such as Q. oxyodon and Q. augustinii; while in the other the bases consist of a group of cells, and this type has been found only in nine species, such as Q. thorelii and Q. chungii. The abaxial leaf epidermis was investigated under light microscope and scanning electron microscope. The epidermal cells and the trichome-bases on this surface under LM are in morphology essentially similar to those on the adaxial surface. The stomata under LM include three types: cyclocytic, subcyclocytic and anomocytic. The stomatal density is of some diagnostic value to distinguish between closely related species, e.g. the stomatal density in Q. glauca is higher than that in Q. schottkyana. Under SEM the stomata are elliptical or roundish. The most noteworthy feature of the adaxial leaf epidermis is the trichomes. Eight types of trichomes have been observed under SEM: simple-uniseriate, solitary, papillae, stellate, fused-stellate, stipitate-fasciculate, multiradiate and jellyfish-like. The first type, i.e. the simple-uniseriate trichome, is glandular, other six types, i.e. the solitary, papillae, stellate, fused-stellate, stipitate-fasciculate and multiradiate trichomes, are non-glandular, and the last one, i.e. the jellyfish-like trichome, may represent an intermediate type in structure between the glandular and the non-glandular trichomes. Papillae are very common in subgen. Cyclobalanopsis although in the Fagaceae they were previously reported only in a few species of Lithocarpus. The jellyfish-like trichome, observed only in Q. sichouensis, is reported in the Fagaceae for the first time. The evolutionary trends of trichomes are discussed. The trichomes seem to evolve toward the direction of increasing complexity in structure. Papillae are considered as the pedomorphism of trichomes. From papillae the solitary trichomes and then the stellate ones have evolved. The complicated trichome types with more arms may be produced from relatively simple ones with fewer arms by means of varions fusion: several stellate trichomes are fused to form the fused-stellate ones by basal fusion, and by the same way the fused-stellate ones to form the stipitate-fasciculate ones; the multiradiate trichomes are formed by the stellate ones, in which the arms emerge in a variety of seemingly random directions from a typically rounded common base. Based on the above results, it is considered that the trichome features are of important significance for a better understanding of the infrageneric division of Quercus and the phylogenetic relationships between this genus and the other genera in the Fagaceae. The very common presence of papillae in Quercus subgen. Cyclobalanopsis and in a few species of Lithocarpus may indicate that subgen. Cyclobalanopsis is a quite natural group on the one hand, and may have close relationship with Lithocarpus on the other hand. The thin-walled, jellyfish-like trichomes found in Q. sichouensis are in structure similar to the “glandular” peltate trichomes in Trigonobalanus, a genus generally regarded as the most primitive in subfam. Quercoideae, indicating that the affinity between subgen. Cyclobalanopsis and Trigonobalanus may becloser than that between subgen. Quercus and Trigonobalanus.  相似文献

利用光镜和扫描电镜观察了栎属青冈亚属Quercus subgen. Cyclobalanopsis 48种植物的叶表皮,尤以对叶下表皮的毛被特征观察较为仔细。共观察到8种不同类型的叶表皮毛:单列毛、单毛、乳突、星状毛、溶和星状毛、具柄束毛、多出毛和水母状毛。其中乳突在青冈亚属中较常见,而在壳斗科其他属中仅在石栎属 Lithocarpus 少数种类中有报道;水母状毛首次在壳斗科中发现。毛被可能遵循以下的演化规律:乳突→单毛→星状毛;星状毛依照从简单→复杂的演化途径,分化出各种形态各异和结构复杂的毛系。初步讨论了毛被以及叶表皮其他特征(如毛基细胞和表皮细胞的形态、气孔的类型和密度等)的分类和系统学意义。  相似文献

Scanning electron microscopy was used to examine foliar surface features such as cuticular patterns, epicuticular wax, and trichome types in species ofAlnus, Betula, Carpinus, Corylus, andOstrya. Six trichome types are recognized in this survey, four non-glandular (acicular, filiform, aduncate, subulate) and two glandular (stipitate gland and peltate scale). The distribution of these trichomes among the genera supports the recognition of two tribes, Betuleae (Alnus andBetula) and Coryleae (Carpinus, Corylus, andOstrya). Trichome morphology can be an important supportive taxonomic character in determining evolutionary relationships.  相似文献

A significant enhancement in artemisinin content, an important anti-malarial compound, has been achieved in Artemisia annua L. shoots by co-cultivating with Piriformospora indica, a mycorrhiza-like fungus. The in vitro shoots derived from nodal cultures of A. annua were implanted on four different culture media namely, (i) Murashige & Skoog (MS) basal, (ii) MS + 5 μM indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), (iii) MS + P. indica and, (iv) MS + 5 μM IBA + P. indica. After 2 months, it was observed that the cultures reared on MS + 5 μM IBA + P. indica showed optimum growth in terms of shoot and root proliferation over those cultured without P. indica. The average shoot number on MS + 5 μM IBA + P. indica was 17.83 ± 1.01 and on MS + P. indica alone was 12.75 ± 1.10. A drastic decline in shoot number was observed without P. indica which was 2.0 ± 0.12 on basal and 4.9 ± 1.52 on 5 μM IBA. Similarly, a maximum average of 16.83 ± 0.82 roots were achieved on MS + 5 μM IBA + P. indica which declined to 10.75 ± 1.02 on MS + P. indica. A further decrease in root number occurred in shoots without P. indica, their average being 2.5 ± 0.12 on basal and 8.91 ± 1.57 on 5 μM IBA. HPLC analysis of the aforesaid cultures revealed that the quantity of artemisinin was significantly higher (1.30 ± 0.03 %) in shoots cultured on 5 μM IBA + P. indica compared to those of control (0.80 ± 0.01 %).  相似文献

Leaf epidermal features are important taxonomic features in Quercus. We studied leaf epidermal features of 91 species and one forma of Quercus subgenus Cyclobalanopsis using light and scanning electron microscopy. Trichome terminology in oaks was assessed and clarified, aiming to score the epidermal features accurately for genus‐wide comparison. Nine trichome types, anomocytic and cyclocytic stomatal apparatus, smooth layer and platelet epicuticular wax flakes, and two trichome base types were found in subgenus Cyclobalanopsis. The epidermal features revealed three main groups in subgenus Cyclobalanopsis. The epidermal features of Quercus s.l. were uniform, supporting recognition of Cyclobalanopsis as a subgenus of Quercus rather than as a separate genus. Most leaf epidermal features show a mosaic pattern, although their numerous variations offered valuable resources for species identification. This study evaluated serum and hair mineral and trace element levels as well as levels of other nutritional factors affecting growth and appetite in young children with non-organic failure to thrive (NOFTT) based on the presence or types of feeding difficulty (FD). Between August 2012 and July 2015, 136 children less than 6 years of age with NOFTT were included. FD was diagnosed based on Wolfson criteria and divided into subtypes according to Chatoor’s classification. Clinical data were reviewed, and serum and hair mineral levels were measured. Of all assessed serum and hair minerals, only hair sulfur contents differed significantly between subjects with and without infantile anorexia (39,392 ± 2211 vs. 40,332 ± 2551 μg/g, P = 0.034). There were no differences in serum and hair mineral levels between children with and without sensory food aversion. Hair copper contents were significantly lower in children with FD of reciprocity (12.3 ± 6.0 vs. 22.4 ± 25.1 μg/g, P = 0.049). While hair zinc contents were also lower, the difference was not statistically significant (49.2 ± 26.8 vs. 70.6 ± 41.0 μg/g, P = 0.055). Only hair manganese contents were significantly lower in children with posttraumatic FD (0.12 ± 0.04 vs. 0.26 ± 0.73 μg/g, P = 0.037). In conclusion, there were no differences in most serum and hair mineral levels in children with NOFTT, except for relatively lower hair levels of sulfur, copper and possibly zinc, and manganese in infantile anorexia, reciprocity, and posttraumatic types of FD, respectively.  相似文献

The rapid evolution of Class A β-lactamases, which procure resistance to an increasingly broad panel of β-lactam antibiotics, underscores the urgency to better understand the relation between their sequence variation and their structural and functional features. To date, more than 300 clinically-relevant β-lactamase variants have been reported, and this number continues to increase. With the aim of obtaining insights into the evolutionary potential of β-lactamases, an artificially engineered, catalytically active chimera of the Class A TEM-1 and PSE-4 β-lactamases is under study by kinetics and NMR. Here we report the 1H, 13C and 15N backbone resonance assignments for the 30 kDa chimera cTEM-17m. Despite its high molecular weight, the data provide evidence that this artificially-evolved chimeric enzyme is well folded. The hydrolytic activity of cTEM-17m was determined using the chromogenic substrate CENTA, with K M = 160 ± 35 μM and k cat = 20 ± 4 s?1, which is in the same range as the values for TEM-1 and PSE-4 β-lactamases.  相似文献

Febrile convulsion is the most common disorder in childhood with good prognosis. There are different hypotheses about neurotransmitters and trace element changes in biological fluids which can have a role in pathogenesis of febrile convulsion. In this study, serum selenium, zinc, and copper were measured by atomic absorption spectrometry in the children with febrile convulsion (n?=?30) and in the control group (n?=?30). The age and sex of the subjects were registered. Selenium and zinc were found to be significantly lower in febrile convulsion cases than in the control group (p?<?0.0001 and p?<?0.0001, respectively). There was no significant difference in the value of copper between the two groups (p?=?0.16). While selenium and zinc levels were 44.92?±?10.93 μg/l and 66.13?±?18.97 μg/dl in febrile convulsion, they were found to be 62.98?±?9.80 μg/l and 107.87?±?28.79 μg/dl in healthy children. Meanwhile, copper levels were 146.40?±?23.51 μg/dl in the patients and 137.63?±?24.19 μg/dl in the control group, respectively. This study shows that selenium and zinc play an important role in the pathogenesis of febrile convulsion.  相似文献

Wild tubers of Dioscorea bulbifera (Db) and Dioscorea hirtiflora (Dh) mainly used as sources of famine food and in herbal preparations are often indiscriminately collected in Africa and Asia. Therefore, there is the need to complement wild sourcing of the tubers to promote their conservation. The present study reports in vitro tuberous induction (80%) for the first time from Dh cultured on MS?+?NAA (2.5 mg/L) with IC50 of 472.5?±?1.77 µg/mL using DPPH, whereas tuberous root (60%) from Db on MS?+?Kn (2.5 mg/L)?+?NAA (0.25 mg/L) had IC50 of 26.97?±?1.00 µg/mL. Genetic fidelity assessment of in vitro plants compared to the wild plants revealed similar amplicon size of amplified DNA using trnH–psbA and rbcL. Similarly, micromorphological diagnostic features like oil gland, crystals (raphides), trichome and stomata type were obtained from the epidermal peels of the wild and in vitro plants. The ethyl acetate (EtOAc) extract of the flesh of Dh (wild) had the highest catechin content (108.3?±?0.69 µg/g DW). Protocatechuic acid was highest in the methanol (MeOH) extract of the flesh of Dh (0.42?±?0.02 µg/g DW), while it was detected in trace amount in the in vitro tuberous roots of MeOH extracts of Dh treated with NAA. The in vitro protocol developed in this study could be employed to multiply Dioscorea bulbifera L. and Dioscorea hirtiflora Benth. to offer genetically stable clones for the optimization of bioactive compounds and germplasms conservation.  相似文献

The mineral levels in maternal serum change during pregnancy and may be correlated with those of newborn cord blood. The aim of this study was to evaluate the concentrations of calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), zinc (Zn), iron (Fe), and copper (Cu) in maternal blood before and after delivery and in umbilical cord vein and artery serum. The study was carried out in 64 Caucasian pregnant women who delivered in a district hospital in Greater Poland region, aged 28.1 ± 5.4 years, with a mean gestational age of 39.2 ± 1.3 weeks. Blood samples were taken from women 2–8 h before delivery and immediately after childbirth. The umbilical cord artery and vein blood of newborns was obtained immediately after childbirth. The levels of minerals in serum were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. A significant drop in the concentrations of Mg (17.71 ± 1.51 vs 17.07 ± 1.61 μg/ml; p < 0.007), Fe (1.08 ± 0.46 vs 0.82 ± 0.35 μg/ml; p < 0.0004), and Zn (0.63 ± 0.17 vs 0.46 ± 0.16; p < 0.0001) in maternal serum was found after delivery. Moreover, higher levels of Ca, Fe, and Zn and lower levels of Cu were observed in the umbilical vein (Ca: 102.80 ± 7.80 μg/ml; p < 0.0001, Fe: 1.96 ± 0.43 μg/ml; p < 0.0001, Zn: 0.65 ± 0.16 μg/ml; p < 0.0001, Cu: 0.36 ± 0.09 μg/ml; p < 0.0001) and in the umbilical artery cord blood (Ca: 98.07 ± 8.18 μg/ml; p < 0.0001, Fe: 1.63 ± 0.30 μg/ml; p < 0.0001, Zn: 0.65 ± 0.15 μg/ml; p < 0.0001, and Cu: 0.36 ± 0.10 μg/ml; p < 0.0001) compared to the maternal serum (Ca: 85.05 ± 10.76 μg/ml, Fe: 0.82 ± 0.35 μg/ml, Zn: 0.46 ± 0.16 μg/ml, and Cu: 1.90 ± 0.35 μg/ml). Fe levels in the cord artery serum negatively correlated with blood loss during delivery (R = ?0.48; p = 0.01), while the Ca concentration in the maternal serum after birth decreased with the age of the women (R = ?0.25; p = 0.03). In conclusion, it seems that the process of birth alters the mineral levels in pregnant women’s blood. Moreover, it was found that blood loss and the age of the mother are associated with mineral concentrations in the maternal serum and cord artery blood.  相似文献

We aim to investigate whether overweight/obese pregnant women have elevated plasma levels of adenosine associated with increased consumption of high-calorie food. Sixty women were included. They were divided into lean (n = 23 and n = 12) or overweight/obese (n = 7 and n = 18) non-pregnant and pregnant women, respectively. Clinical records and maternal blood samples were collected after informed consent. A self-reported dietary questionnaire was also completed. Plasma adenosine levels were determined with high-performance liquid chromatography. Biochemical parameters, including glucose, total protein, and lipid profile, were determined using standard colorimetric assays. Adenosine levels were higher in pregnant women than in non-pregnant women (18.7 ± 1.6 vs 10.8 ± 1.3 nM/μg protein, respectively, p < 0.0001). Overweight/obese pregnant women (21.9 ± 2.5 nM/μg protein) exhibited higher adenosine levels than lean pregnant (14.5 ± 1.0 nM/μg protein, p = 0.04) or non-pregnant women (11.7 ± 1.5 nM/μg protein, p = 0.0005). Also, pregnant women with elevated weight gain exhibited higher (26.2 ± 3.7 nM/μg protein) adenosine levels than those with adequate weight gain (14.9 ± 1.4 nM/μg protein, p = 0.03). These differences were not statistically significant compared with those of pregnant women with reduced weight gain (17.4 ± 2.1 nM/μg protein, p = 0.053). Body mass index and adenosine only in pregnant women were positively correlated (r = 0.39, p = 0.02). While, polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) consumption was negatively correlated with plasma adenosine levels only in non-pregnant women (r = ?0.33, p = 0.03). Pregnancy is associated with high plasma adenosine levels, which are further elevated in pregnant women who are overweight/obese. High PUFA intake might reduce plasma adenosine levels in non-pregnant women.  相似文献

The genus Alyssum contains >50 Ni hyperaccumulator species; many can achieve >2.5% Ni in dry leaf. In soils with normal Mn levels, Alyssum trichome bases were previously observed to accumulate Ni and Mn to high levels. Here we report concentration and localization patterns in A. murale and A. corsicum grown in soils with nonphytotoxic factorial additions of Ni and Mn salts. Four leaf type subsets based on size and age accumulated Ni and Mn similarly. The greatest Mn accumulation (10 times control) was observed in A. corsicum with 40 mmol Mn kg?1 and 40 mmol Ni kg?1 added to potting soil. Whole leaf Ni concentrations decreased as Mn increased. Synchrotron X-ray fluorescence mapping of whole fresh leaves showed localized in distinct high-concentration Mn spots associated with trichomes, Ni and Mn distributions were strongly spatially correlated. Standard X-ray fluorescence point analysis/mapping of cryofractured and freeze-dried samples found that Ni and Mn were co-located and strongly concentrated only in trichome bases and in cells adjacent to trichomes. Nickel concentration was also strongly spatially correlated with sulfur. Results indicate that maximum Ni phytoextraction by Alyssum may be reduced in soils with higher phytoavailable Mn, and suggest that Ni hyperaccumulation in Alyssum species may have developed from a Mn handling system.  相似文献

Dayaoshania cotinifolia W. T. Wang is a rare and endangered member of the Gesneriaceae family which is endemic to China. To conserve this species, an efficient in vitro propagation and regeneration system via shoot organogenesis was established from young leaf explants. Adventitious shoot induction was possible within 50–60 d on basal Murashige and Skoog medium supplemented with 1–3 μM 6-benzyladenine, although 5 μM 6-benzyladenine induced hyperhydricity. Basal medium containing 1–5 μM thidiazuron induced fewer shoots, while 1–5 μM α-naphthaleneacetic acid induced numerous adventitious roots and a few adventitious shoots. However, when thidiazuron and α-naphthaleneacetic acid were combined, both the induction percentage and number of shoots increased. Leaf explants cultured on induction medium supplemented with 1–5 μM 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid become necrotic and died. Induction medium supplemented with 1 μM α-naphthaleneacetic acid and 1–3 μM 6-benzyladenine was optimal for inducing adventitious shoots as was the combination of 1–3 μM thidiazuron and 1 μM α-naphthaleneacetic acid. Induction medium containing 2.0 μM 6-benzyladenine and 0.5 μM indole-3-acetic acid was optimal for the multiplication of adventitious shoots. Rooting was achieved on half-strength MS medium supplemented with 3.0 μM indole-3-acetic acid or α-naphthaleneacetic acid and 0.1% activated charcoal. Plantlets were transplanted to a mixture of sand, vermiculite, and humus (1:1:1); 92% survived. This protocol is a unique and effective means to micropropagate this rare and important plant and could serve as a solution for in vitro and ex vitro conservation.  相似文献
