为弄清光周期对一种亚热带蜚蠊(Periplaneta japanna)若虫发育的控制机理,检测了光周期对冲绳(26°N)和八丈岛(33°N)两个地理种群若虫发育的影响。结果表明,光周期显著影响两地理种群的若虫发育,然而,冲绳和八丈岛种群间显示不同的光周期反应模式。冲绳种群在长日条件下(LD16∶8h)若虫发育显著快于中间日长(LD14∶10h)和短日条件下(LD12∶12h)的若虫发育,孵化后60d或120d将若虫自LD16∶8h向LD12∶12h转移,若虫发育受到抑制,而自LD12∶12h向LD16∶8h转移,则促进若虫发育。八丈岛种群的若虫在短日条件下发育最快,其次是中间日长,长日条件下若虫发育最慢,孵化后60d或120d将若虫自LD16∶8h向LD12∶12h转移抑制若虫发育,反方向转移的若虫快速发育。两地理种群间不同的光周期反应模式可以认为是趋异进化的结果。  相似文献

二化螟水稻种群与茭白种群光周期反应的比较   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
本文报道了用水稻和茭白分别饲养二化螟水稻种群和茭白种群的光周期反应。光周期反应曲线显示,用水稻饲养茭白种群或用茭白饲养水稻种群,无论是在短光照还是在长光照条件下,绝大多数幼虫被诱导进入滞育,丧失了各自原有的光周期反应特性,表明这两个种群已分化到仅适应其本身寄主的程度。用水稻饲养的茭白种群仅有5%~6%的个体化蛹,且其幼虫期较用茭白饲养的延长了15~18天;而用茭白饲养的水稻种群有30%~40%的个体化蛹,其幼虫期与水稻饲养的仅相差3~8天。茭白种群用水稻饲养时32日龄幼虫体重仅为茭白饲养的53.1%,而水稻种群用水稻饲养时32日龄幼虫体重为茭白饲养的79.5%。这些结果表明,茭白种群不适应取食水稻,而水稻种群对取食茭白则有一定的适应能力。根据这些结果,我们认为:(1)这两个种群已出现种下分化的迹象;(2)茭白种植不会对水稻田二化螟的发生产生大的影响。  相似文献

中华稻蝗五地理种群的卵滞育强度及生活史模式变异   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
为调查中华稻蝗Oxya chinensis的地理适应,自北纬42.3°至20.0°采集了5个地理种群的标本,比较了其子代的卵滞育发生、滞育强度及成虫虫体大小。结果表明: 不同的中华稻蝗地理种群显示了不同的光周期和温度反应模式。铁岭、济宁和泗洪种群的滞育不受光周期和温度的影响,滞育率均为100%。南方的长沙和海口种群仅部分卵进入滞育,海口种群在短日条件下的滞育率高于长日条件,卵期温度亦对其滞育有较大的影响,而长沙种群的卵滞育仅受卵期温度的调控。长沙和海口种群的卵滞育强度最弱,其次是铁岭种群,中间纬度的济宁和泗洪种群的滞育强度最高。在北方的一化性种群中,滞育强度随着纬度的降低而增强。成虫的虫体大小因栖息地纬度的变化而呈现复杂的变异,北方种群的虫体大小与栖息地纬度存在显著的负相关关系,而长沙和海口种群的虫体小于济宁和泗洪种群。结果提示中华稻蝗各种群已形成各自的地理适应机制,纬度梯度在其生活史的形成和发育中起着重要的作用。  相似文献

烟蚜茧蜂Aphidius gifuensis Ashmead是可持续防控蚜虫的优良内寄生蜂,在害虫生防中具有重要作用,研究其滞育对探索发育调控机制、延长产品货架期、提高防治效果意义重大。本文采用梯度变温法和光周期反应曲线法,系统研究了温度和光周期对烟蚜茧蜂滞育诱导的影响,研究结果表明:烟蚜茧蜂以老熟幼虫滞育,滞育类型属冬滞育型。低温、短光照是诱导烟蚜茧蜂滞育的主要环境因子,二者相互配合能诱导更多个体滞育。短光照(L∶D=8∶16)条件下,温度低于12℃可诱导烟蚜茧蜂进入滞育,8℃时滞育率可达54.35%。长光照(L∶D=14∶10)下,高温不能诱导烟蚜茧蜂滞育,低温下的滞育率较低,仅为1.79%。低温(10℃)下,短光照(8 h)可诱导50.70%的高滞育率,光照为14 h和6 h其滞育率均显著下降。25℃时,不同光照下滞育率均为0,光周期作用不显著。综合而言,温度和光周期均能显著影响烟蚜茧蜂的滞育,温度较光周期的滞育诱导效能更显著,二者互作配合能极显著的诱导烟蚜茧蜂进入滞育态。  相似文献

为弄清湖南株洲丽斗蟋若虫的季节适应策略,研究了恒定及变化光周期对其若虫发育的调控。结果表明,丽斗蟋若虫发育明显受变化光周期的影响。25℃温度条件下,3个光周期条件下的若虫发育都较慢,羽化也极不整齐,长日条件(LD 16∶8h)、中间日照条件(LD 14∶10h)和短日条件(LD 12∶12h)的若虫发育历期(mean ± SD)分别为(206.2± 44.0)d、(236.6±93.3)d和(230.3±47.4)d,若虫从开始羽化到供试个体全部完成羽化所需时间分别为216、301和156d,经历短日条件的若虫转移至长日条件后能够促进其快速发育,羽化也很整齐,反方向转移则会抑制若虫发育,且羽化也不整齐。30℃温度条件下,恒定长日条件下的若虫发育明显快于短日条件,变化光周期对若虫发育的调控与25℃相类似。变化光周期对若虫发育的影响与光周期的变化方向及低龄若虫感受的光周期类型有关。丽斗蟋若虫复杂的光周期反应模式的生态意义在于调节其生活史与季节同步。  相似文献

大猿叶虫夏滞育的诱导:基于定量的光周期反应   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
为了探明大猿叶虫Colaphellus bowringi Baly夏滞育诱导的光周期时间测量特性, 我们通过室内实验系统比较了该虫在25℃、 不同长光照条件下,夏滞育的发生以及诱导50%个体进入夏滞育所需求的光 暗循环数。结果表明:不同长光照诱导的夏滞育比率有显著差异, 其中15 h或16 h光照诱导的滞育比率最高, 短于或长于这两个光照其滞育率均明显下降。在不同光 暗循环实验中, 14 h诱导的滞育比率均低于50%, 诱导50%个体进入夏滞育所需求的光 暗循环数在L15∶D9, L16∶D8, L17∶ D7和L18∶D6分别为2.61, 3.72, 4.64和5.92 d, 处理间存在显著差异。这些结果提示该虫夏滞育的诱导是基于定量的光周期反应。  相似文献

至今,所测试昆虫的光周期反应均表明,光周期反应对暗期干扰高度敏感,短暂的光脉冲都可在不同程度上逆转长夜效应,抑制滞育的发生。在研究了棉铃虫Helicoverpa armigera泰安种群(36.15°N,116.59°E)和喀佐种群(41.34°N,120.27°E)光周期反应的基础上,在滞育诱导的短光周期下(L12:D12和L9:D15),分别测试了暗期不同时段1h光脉冲对这两个不同地理种群滞育抑制的影响。25和22℃下的光周期反应显示了泰安种群在长暗期11—14 h的滞育率均显著低于喀佐种群;泰安种群的临界暗长分别为11.7 h和11.5 h,喀佐种群分别为10.5 h和10.3 h,泰安种群均比喀佐种群长1.2 h。在所测试的暗期干扰实验中,除了极少数光脉冲干扰点外,泰安种群蛹滞育率显著低于喀佐种群,但两者的滞育反应曲线基本相似。在短光周期L9:D15下,泰安种群和喀佐种群均显示了光脉冲落入暗期的第9—11小时最有效地抑制了滞育的发生。在短光周期L12∶D12下,泰安种群和喀佐种群在25℃时均显示了光脉冲落入暗期的第3—4小时和第10小时导致了最低的滞育发生;但在22℃时,喀佐种群只在暗期的第3—4小时显示了最高的滞育抑制。这些结果揭示了偏南的泰安种群对暗期干扰的敏感性强于偏北的喀佐种群,但这两个地理种群的最高光敏感位点基本相同。  相似文献

曲脉姬蟋Modicogryllus confirmatus Walker具有明显的翅二型现象。为探究环境及遗传如何影响曲脉姬蟋亚热带种群的翅型分化,对饲养于不同光周期、温度和密度条件下若虫羽化后的翅型比进行了调查,并对长、短翅型蟋蟀进行了3代遗传筛选和杂交试验,研究了光周期、温度、种群密度和遗传对曲脉姬蟋广西种群翅型分化的影响。结果表明:光周期和种群密度对曲脉姬蟋的翅型分化均无影响,而温度对其翅型分化具有调控作用。正常范围内的温度变化(25℃、30℃)对其翅型分化无显著影响,而35℃的极高温则显著降低曲脉姬蟋的长翅率,说明其翅型分化并不是对季节变化的适应,而高温胁迫可引起短翅化。对不同翅型进行了3代筛选,结果表明,往短翅型选拔会引起雌、雄虫的短翅率都明显下降,而往长翅型选拔时,雌、雄虫的短翅率均维持在极低水平;不同亲本组合的后代间的长翅率有差异,说明曲脉姬蟋的翅型分化可能受多基因调控。  相似文献

Abstract.  The effects of photoperiod on nymphal growth and adult reproduction were investigated in a small cockroach, Margattea satsumana, living on the subtropical, Hachijo island (33°N), Japan. Nymphal development is slow under constant photoperiods at 25 °C. The shortest mean duration of nymphal development (176 days) is observed at LD 14 : 10 h, followed by LD 12 : 12 h (221 days) and LD 16 : 8 h (309 days). Nymphal development is further prolonged when the nymphs are transferred from LD 12 : 12 to LD 16 : 8 h at 90 days after hatching. However, rapid and synchronized development is observed when nymphs were transferred in the opposite direction. A decreased change in photoperiod from LD 14 : 10 to LD 12 : 12 h also reduces the duration of nymphal development, and this cannot be explained by the results obtained at constant photoperiods. Similarly, nymphs reared at LD 16 : 8 h during the first 60 days mature more rapidly when transferred to LD 12 : 12 h than when transferred to LD 14 : 10 h. The developmental suppression induced by long days may represent a form of summer diapause that is terminated rapidly by short days. Based on these observations and field-census data, it is suggested that this cockroach has a univoltine life cycle overwintering as nondiapause adults, and that this life cycle is stabilized by the response to changing photoperiod.  相似文献

Chlorops oryzae Matsumura (Diptera: Chloropidae) is bivoltine in northern Japan but trivoltine in the southern part of the country. Larvae of the bivoltine strain (Akita, 39° N) develop without delay under L14:D10 but enter summer diapause in the mature larval stage under L15:D9. In contrast, larvae of the trivoltine strain (Aichi, 35° N) develop quickly under L15:D9 but enter summer diapause under L14:D10. The genetic basis of their different summer-diapause behavior was analyzed by reciprocal crossing between the two ecotypes and backcrossing to the hybrids. Although a polygenic system seems to be involved, there is a single gene on the X-chromosome exerting a major effect on summer diapause. The northern bivoltine ecotype has a longer critical photoperiod for the induction of winter diapause in the first larval stage and remains in diapause longer than the southern trivoltine ecotype. The differences in the critical photoperiod and the winter diapause duration between the two ecotypes seem to be controlled by a polygenic system but again a sex-linked or closely linked gene (or genes) plays a major role. The two geographic ecotypes differ significantly in summer- and winter-diapause traits, both of which are characterized by sex-linked inheritance. Despite this, no apparent sterility or inviability in hybrids between the ecotypes occurs.  相似文献

为弄清湖南株洲(北纬27°50′,东经112°54′)栖息于林地的德国小蠊(Blattella germanica)季节生活史策略,研究了光周期和温度对其若虫发育、龄数变异及成虫繁殖的影响。结果表明,德国小蠊的若虫发育明显受光周期的影响。长日条件(LD 16∶8h)下若虫发育最快,中间日长(LD 14∶10h)次之,短日条件(LD 12∶12h)下若虫发育最慢。将孵化后30日的若虫自长日条件向短日条件转移,则若虫发育受到明显抑制,反方向的转移,则若虫发育迅速。说明德国小蠊若虫存在滞育现象,短日条件诱导并维持滞育,长日条件解除滞育。若虫期经历的龄数受光周期和温度的影响,25℃的温度条件下,LD 16∶8h、LD 14∶10h及LD 12∶12h若虫期的龄数分别为7、8和9龄;长日条件下,30℃和25℃的若虫龄数为7龄,而20℃为9龄。根据实验室观察和林地调查结果,德国小蠊在湖南株洲1年发生1代,以滞育若虫越冬。30℃、25℃、20℃的温度条件下,卵鞘成活率分别为14.3%、90.1%和51.9%,高温和低温均不适合德国小蠊的繁殖。因此,可以认为控制若虫发育和龄数的光周期、温度反应的生态意义在于调控繁殖虫态和繁殖的适宜季节保持同步。  相似文献

Abstract.  Diapause is common among insects and is regarded as an adaptive response to periodic occurrence of adverse conditions. It occurs at a particular developmental stage, typically only once in a lifetime. However, little is known about the details of the control mechanism of life cycles with multiple diapauses in insects. In this study, a complex 2-year life cycle with three types of diapause is reported in a subtropical cockroach, Symploce japonica : a winter diapause in mid-nymphal instars, a summer diapause in later nymphal instars, and a reproductive diapause is reported in the adult stage. Nymphal development was extremely slow either at short days (winter diapause) or long days (summer diapause). Nymphs in summer diapause matured rapidly when transferred from long days to short days, indicating that seasonal changes in day-length are the pivotal factor in the control of this life cycle. It is proposed that the main significance of winter diapause in this subtropical species is to enable the nymphs to survive the mild winter successfully with reduced energy demand, and that of summer diapause is to delay adult emergence until late in the autumn for successful induction of the following adult diapause. Adults do not emerge until shortly before winter, yet the presence of diapause in the adult stage does not simply appear to be a response to cope with the winter conditions but, instead, ensures that reproduction will occur early the next year, before summer, because reproduction is greatly hampered at high temperature.  相似文献

A densovirus, named Periplaneta fuliginosa densovirus (PfDNV), affects smoky-brown cockroach (P. fuliginosa), which is a major peridomestic cockroach in China, southeastern United States, Japan, and Southeast Asia. We reported here that PfDNV could be mass-produced using virus rescue technology. Pathology and ultrastructural studies revealed the presence of enlarged and dense nuclei in hindgut cells of infected smoky-brown cockroach nymphs and adults. Laboratory bioassays of the PfDNV against P. fuliginosa showed that it has the potential to be used as a biocontrol agent. High mortality was recorded in adult smoky-brown cockroaches treated with PfDNV baits at the dosage of 6 × 104 virions per gram against P. fuliginosa in both no-choice tests and two-choice tests (LT50’s were 13.37 and 13.50 days, respectively). PfDNV was also effective in large population chamber tests. LT50 was 17.57 days and mortality achieved was 95.6% in 28 observation days.  相似文献

Abstract.  Opisoplatia orientalis is an ovoviviparous cockroach living in the subtropical areas in Japan. Both adults and nymphs overwinter on Hachijo Island (33°N). The nymphs sampled before and after overwintering showed a similar pattern in frequency distribution of head widths with a definite peak of fifth instars. The present study was conducted to determine how this pattern was formed by investigating the effects of photoperiod and temperature on development and reproduction. Photoperiod influenced the number of nymphal instars, resulting in a longer duration of nymphal development at LD 12 : 12 h than at LD 16 : 8 h. However, the rate of development at each instar was only affected to a small extent by photoperiod and no sign of diapause was detected. It was suggested that the photoperiodic response controlling the number of nymphal instars might have evolved to adjust the timing of adult emergence and reproduction to the favourable season. The prereproductive period and time intervals between nymph depositions were prolonged as temperature declined, but there was no evidence for diapause in adults. Mortality occurred in eggs and embryos inside of the body of the females during winter. Thus, it was inferred that female adults would reset ovarian development in spring and deposit nymphs in summer simultaneously, and these nymphs would reach the fifth instar before winter comes. This winter mortality hypothesis was supported by experiments in which reproductive activity and mortality were monitored for field-collected adults under either constant or changing temperature conditions simulating those in the field.  相似文献

为了探明亚洲玉米螟Ostrinia furnacalis (Guenée)不同地理种群对暗期干扰的滞育反应, 本文在研究了亚洲玉米螟南昌种群(28°41′N, 115°53′E)和哈尔滨种群(44°56′N, 127°10′E)光周期反应的基础上, 在室内分别测试了25℃和28℃温度下1 h的光脉冲干扰光周期L9∶D15和L12∶D12对这两个不同地理种群幼虫滞育抑制的影响。结果表明: 在25℃和28℃下, 哈尔滨种群的临界日长分别比南昌种群延长了1 h 40 min和2 h; 在所有测试的暗期干扰实验中, 除了极少数光脉冲干扰点外, 南昌种群幼虫滞育的发生率显著低于哈尔滨种群; 1 h光脉冲干扰光周期L9∶D15的滞育发生率明显低于干扰光周期L12∶D12, 且前者表现了暗期的中间对光脉冲最敏感, 而后者显示了暗期的初期对光脉冲最敏感; 28℃下光脉冲对滞育的抑制效果强于25℃。这些结果进一步提示, 即使在同种昆虫中, 如果地理种群和实验条件不同, 暗期干扰对滞育抑制的效果也可能不同。  相似文献
