The 1:1 condensation of 1,2-diaminopropane and 1-phenylbutane-1,3-dione at high dilution gives a mixture of two positional isomers of terdentate mono-condensed Schiff bases 6-amino-3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-aza-2-hepten-1-one (HAMPAH) and 6-amino-3,5-dimethyl-1-phenyl-4-aza-2-hexen-1-one (HADPAH). The mixture of the terdentate ligands has been used for further condensation with pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde or 2-acetylpyridine to obtain the unsymmetrical tetradentate Schiff base ligands. The tetradentate Schiff bases are then allowed to react with the methanol solution of copper(II) and nickel(II) perchlorate separately. The X-ray diffraction confirms the structures of two of the complexes and shows that the condensation site of the diamine with 1-phenylbutane-1,3-dione is the same. 相似文献

A series of copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes involving a tridentate O,N,O'-donor Schiff base derived from salicylaldehyde and beta-alanine {i.e. N-salicylidene-beta-alanine(2-), (L)}, having the composition [Cu(2)(L)(2)(H(2)O)].H(2)O (1), [Cu(L)(H(2)O)](n) (2), and [Zn(L)(H(2)O)](n) (3), have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, UV-visible (UV-VIS), FT-IR and ESI-MS spectra, and thermal analyses. Complexes 1 and 2 have been investigated by single crystal X-ray analysis and also by temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements (294-80K). All prepared complexes have been evaluated by the antiperoxynitrite activity assay and alloxan-induced diabetes model. The significant antioxidant and antidiabetic activities have been found in the case of both copper(II) complexes 1 and 2. In spite of first two complexes, the zinc(II) complex 3, as well as the potassium salt of the ligand (KHL) showed only insignificant protective effect against the tyrosine nitration in vitro. 相似文献

Using the principle of crystal engineering, six metal-organic coordination polymers, [Cd(bdc)(3-pytpy)]n · 2nH2O (1), [Cd(bdc)0.5(3-pytpy)]n · n(ClO4) (2), Cd(ndc)0.5(3-pytpy)]n · n(ClO4) (3), [Zn(ndc)(3-pytpy)]n (4), [Cd(bqdc)(3-pytpy)]n (5), and [Zn(pam)(3-pytpy)]n · 2nH2O (6) (H2bdc = benzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid, H2ndc = naphthalene-2,6-dicarboxylic acid, H2bqdc = 2,2′-biquinoline-4,4′-dicarboxylic acid, H2pam = pamoic acid), were synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. Compounds 1-6 crystallize in the presence of organic-acid linkers as well as multi-functional N-donor ligand 4′-(3-pyridyl)-2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridine (3-pytpy). In complexes 1, 4, 5, and 6, the dicarboxylate as bridging ligand connects metal atoms to form the main body of 1D zigzag chains for 1 and 4, nearly linear chain for 5 and helical chain for 6, while 3-pytpy as tridentate chelating ligand is just like lateral arm grafting on both sides of these chains. In complexes 2 and 3, both the dicarboxylate and 3-pytpy as bridging ligands connect metal atoms into 2D polymeric structure for 2 and 1D chain of alternating loops and rods for 3. The weak interactions such as hydrogen bonding and π···π stacking were investigated on the formation of superamolecular structures and the influence of organic acid on the formation of the final structures was discussed. In addition, the photoluminescent properties of 1-6 were also determined. 相似文献

Alkoxo-phenoxo bridged tetranuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu4L2(O2CC6H4-p-OH)2] (1) and [Cu4L2(O2CC6H4-o-OH)2] (2) containing pentadentate Schiff base ligand N,N′-(2-hydroxypropane-1,3-diyl)bis(salicylaldimine) (H3L) are prepared and structurally characterized. Crystal structures of the complexes show the covalent linkage between two {Cu2L(O2CR)}(R = C6H4-p-OH, C6H4-o-OH) units through the phenoxo atoms of the Schiff base ligand showing axial/equatorial bonding modes. The Cu(1)-O(2)-Cu(2) alkoxo bridge angle is 131° in 1 and 2. The pendant ortho- and para- OH groups of the three-atom bridging carboxylate ligands show no apparent bonding interactions with the metal or other group(s). The complexes show a d-d band near 635 nm in CH2Cl2. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements in the temperature range 300-18 K show antiferromagnetically coupled spin system. A theoretical fit of the magnetic data using exchange parameters J1 and J2 for the intradimer and interdimer units of the quasi-linear tetrameric core gave values as: J1=−132,J2=−72 cm−1 for 1 and J1=−167,J2=−67 cm−1 for 2. 相似文献

The bimetallic cyclosiloxanolate cluster complexes Na[PhSiO2)6Cu4Ni2(μ6-Cl)(PhSiO2)6] (1) and Na[(PhSiO2)6Cu3Ni3(μ6-Cl)(PhSiO2)6] (2) were prepared by Na+ and Ni2+ ion exchange from in situ generated Na2 {[(PhSiO2)6]2Na4Ni4(OH)2}. Complexes 1 and 2 were characterized by analytical, spectroscopic and electrochemical methods as well as complex 2 by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The X-ray structure shows a sandwich-type array comprising two superimposed cyclosiloxanolate rings and an M6Cl unit in between. For the first time the regioselectivity of the metal ion exchange could be deduced from the X-ray structural parameters. 相似文献

Six copper(I) complexes {[Cu2(L1)(PPh3)2I2] · 2CH2Cl2}n (1), {[Cu2(L2)(PPh3)2]BF4}n (2), [Cu2(L3)(PPh3)4I2] · 2CH2Cl2 (3), [Cu2(L4)(PPh3)4I2] (4), [Cu2(L5)(PPh3)2I2] (5) and [Cu2(L6)(PPh3)2I2] (6) have been prepared by reactions of bis(schiff base) ligands: pyridine-4-carbaldehyde azine (L1), 1,2-bis(4′-pyridylmethyleneamino)ethane (L2), pyridine-3-carbaldehyde azine (L3), 1,2-bis(3′-pyridylmethyleneamino)ethane (L4), pyridine-2-carbaldehyde azine (L5), 1,2-bis(2′-pyridylmethyleneamino)ethane (L6) with PPh3 and copper(I) salt, respectively. Ligand L1 or L2 links (PPh3)2Cu2(μ-I)2 units to form an infinite coordination polymer chain. Ligand 3 or 4 acts as a monodentate ligand to coordinate two copper(I) atoms yielding a dimer. Ligand 5 or 6 chelates two copper(I) atoms using pyridyl nitrogen and imine nitrogen to form a dimer. Complexes 1-4 exhibit photoluminescence in the solid state at room temperature. The emission has been attributed to be intraligand π-π* transition mixed with MLCT characters. 相似文献

The Schiff base ligands 2-(2,6-diisopropylphenyliminomethyl)phenol H(L1), 5-diethylamino-2-(2,6-diisopropylphenyliminomethyl)phenol H(L2), 2,4-di-tert-butyl-6-(2,6-diisopropylphenyliminomethyl)phenol H(L3), 3-(2,6-diisopropylphenyliminomethyl)naphthalen-2-ol H(L4) and 4-(2,6-diisopropylphenyliminomethyl)-5-hydroxymethyl-2-methylpyridin-3-ol H(L5) have been synthesized by the condensation, respectively, of salicylaldehyde, 4-(diethylamino)salicylaldehyde, 3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-1-napthaldehyde and pyridoxal with 2,6-diisopropylaniline. The copper(II) bis-ligand complexes [Cu(L1)2] 1, [Cu(L2)2] 2, [Cu(L3)2] 3, [Cu(L4)2] 4 and [Cu(L5)2] · CH3OH 5 of these ligands have been isolated and characterized. The X-ray crystal structures of two of the complexes [Cu(L1)2] 1 and [Cu(L5)2] · CH3OH 5 have been successfully determined, and the centrosymmetric complexes possess a CuN2O2 chromophore with square planar coordination geometry. The frozen solution EPR spectra of the complexes reveal a square-based CuN2O2 chromophore, and the values of g‖ and g‖/A‖ index reveal enhanced electron delocalization by incorporating the strongly electron-releasing -NEt2 group (2) and fusing a benzene ring on sal-ring (4). The Cu(II)/Cu(I) redox potentials of the Cu(II) complexes reveal that the incorporation of electron-releasing -NEt2 group and fusion of a benzene ring lead to enhanced stabilization of Cu(II) oxidation state supporting the EPR spectral results. The hydrogen bonding interactions between the two molecules present in the unit cell of 5a generate an interesting two-dimensional hydrogen-bonded network topology. 相似文献

A new mononuclear Cu(II) complex, [CuL(ClO4)2] (1) has been derived from symmetrical tetradentate di-Schiff base, N,N′-bis-(1-pyridin-2-yl-ethylidene)-propane-1,3-diamine (L) and characterized by X-ray crystallography.The copper atom assumes a tetragonally distorted octahedral geometry with two perchlorate oxygens coordinated very weakly in the axial positions.Reactions of 1 with sodium azide, ammonium thiocyanate or sodium nitrite solution yielded compounds [CuL(N3)]ClO4 (2), [CuL(SCN)]ClO4 (3) or [CuL(NO2)]ClO4 (4), respectively, all of which have been characterized by X-ray analysis.The geometries of the penta-coordinated copper(II) in complexes 2-4 are intermediate between square pyramid and trigonal bipyramid (tbp) having the Addition parameters (τ) 0.47, 0.45 and 0.58, respectively.In complex 4, the nitrite ion is coordinated as a chelating ligand and essentially both the O atoms of the nitrite occupy one axial site.Complex 1 shows distinct preference for the anion in the order in forming the complexes 2-4 when treated with a mixture. Complexes [Cu(HSas)(H2O)] · 2H2O (H3Sas = N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-l-aspartic acid) (1), [Cu(HMeSglu)(H2O)] · 2H2O (H3MeSglu = (N-(2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzyl)-l-glutamic acid) (2), [Cu2(Smet)2] (H2Smet = (N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-l-methionine) (3), [Ni(HSas)(H2O)] (4), [Ni2(Smet)2(H2O)2] (5), and [Ni(HSapg)2] (H2Sapg = (N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-l-aspargine) (6) have been synthesized and characterized by chemical and spectroscopic methods. Structural determination by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies revealed 1D coordination polymeric structures in 2 and 4, and hydrogen-bonded network structure in 5 and 6. In contrast to previously reported coordination compounds with similar ligands, the phenol remains protonated and bonded to the metal ions in 2 and 4, and also probably in 1. The reaction of the tripod ligand hydrotris(2-mercapto-1-imidazolyl)borate Tmxylyl with zinc(II) perchlorate in methanol afforded the mononuclear complex of the type [Tmxylyl-Zn(mimxylyl)]ClO4 (1). Whereas under the same conditions, the reaction with copper(II) perchlorate gives rise to the simultaneous formation of the dinuclear copper(I) complex [TmxylylCu]2 (2). The chemical formulae of the complexes have been characterized by elemental chemical analysis, IR-NMR spectroscopies, and single crystal X-ray methods. In complex 1, the zinc(II) atom displays a distorted tetrahedral environment. While in complex 2, the Tmxylyl ligand bridges the two copper(I) atoms in an asymmetric manner with trigonal geometry. The inverted conformation of the ligand Tmxylyl at the boron center, allows the B-H units to be directed towards the copper centers. The greater reactivity of the borohydride groups towards metal centers enhances the reduction of Cu(II) to Cu(I). The obtained kinetic results for the methylation reactions of 1 and 2 indicate that these bound thione complexes are less suitable to electrophilic attack than the thiolate ligand. 相似文献

Four new square-planar Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes with [N2O2] binding system were synthesized by metal-directed condensation of 2,6-diformyl-4-methylphenol with benzoyl or acetylacetone mono-S-methylisothiosemicarbazone. Only mononuclear “one-armed” complexes were obtained as a consequence of the different reactivity of the two carbonyl groups in the hydroxydialdehyde. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, EI MS and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The structural assignment was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis and NMR spectroscopy, for the Ni(II) complexes, and by ESR spectroscopy and magnetic measurements, for the Cu(II) complexes. 相似文献

The synthesis and characterisation of two dicopper(II) and two dinickel(II) macrocyclic complexes, [CuII2LPr] (10), [CuII2LBu] (11), [NiII2LPr] (12) and [NiII2LBu] (13), are reported. The two new Schiff-base macrocycles (LPr)4− and (LBu)4− are isolated as dimetallic complexes 10-13 by the [2+2] condensation of 5,5-dimethyl-1,9-diformyldipyrromethane (9) and 1,3-diaminopropane or 1,4-diaminobutane, respectively, using Cu2+ or Ni2+ template ions. Single crystal X-ray structure determinations carried out on 10-13 show that each metal atom is in a square planar N4 geometry, being bound to two deprotonated pyrrole nitrogen atoms of one dipyrromethane unit and to the two adjacent imine nitrogen atoms. NMR spectra obtained for the two dinickel(II) complexes 12 and 13 show that in CDCl3 solution they are highly symmetrical and diamagnetic. 相似文献

The synthesis, crystal structures, magnetic and spectroscopic properties of zinc(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) dinuclear complexes 2-4 of a novel dinucleating polyoxazoline ligand 1 are reported. X-ray analysis revealed that the three complexes are centrosymmetric dinuclear species with an overall S shape, the bisoxazoline moieties pointing toward the aromatic core of the molecule. Magnetic susceptibility measurements suggest that there is a very weak exchange interaction between the copper or nickel ions in complexes 3 and 4. 相似文献

Two new copper(II) complexes, Cu(L1)(ClO4)2 (1), {[(μ-oxalate)Cu(L1)] · 5H2O}n (2), and a zinc(II) complex, {[(μ-oxalate)Zn(L2)] · 3H2O · 0.5DMF}n (3) (L = 3,14-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo[14,4,01.18,07.12]docosane), have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. In 1, the ligand conformation is planar, and the octahedral coordination about the copper(II) ion is completed by weakly interacting ions. In 2 and 3, bridging oxalate ligands coordinate to copper(II) or zinc(II) ions in an unusually twisted bis-monodentate (trans-1,1′-bicoordination) mode.
The rigidity and steric hindrance of macrocycles L1 and L2 by the introduction of two cyclohexane rings and methyl groups on a cyclam (1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) skeleton cause the bridging oxalate ligands to adopt such unusual geometries in 2 and 3. 相似文献

Titanium complexes with chiral amino alcohol ligands are useful precatalysts for the intramolecular hydroamination of aminoallenes. They can be synthesized via protonolysis of titanium dimethylamide starting materials with the free ligand. In most cases, the resulting materials are not isolable due to their oily nature. However, several complexes were prepared in pure form and isolated as solid materials. [Ti(Cl)(NMe2)(-OCH2CH(Ph)N(CHMe2)-]2 was prepared at room temperature from TiCl(NMe2)3 and the corresponding N-substituted d-amino alcohol; the dimeric nature of the complex was established by X-ray crystallography. [Ti(NMe2)2(-OCH2CH(Ph)N(2-Ad)-)]2 (2-Ad = 2-Adamantyl) was prepared from Ti(NMe2)4 and the corresponding N-substituted l-amino alcohol after prolonged heating. An intermediate complex that could not be purified or isolated is believed to be Ti(NMe2)3(-OCH2CH(Ph)NH(2-Ad)). Two complexes with the composition TiCl2(-OCH2CH(R*)N(CHMe2)-)(HNMe2) (where R* = CH2Ph or CHMe2) were prepared at room temperature by protonolysis of TiCl2(NMe2)2 with the corresponding N-substituted l-amino alcohols. These two complexes exhibit dynamic behavior on the NMR timescale that is believed to be a dimer-monomer equilibrium, but they decompose at elevated temperatures. 相似文献

Complex pbt2Cu8Br12 [pbt=pyridine-2,6-diylbis(methyleneamino-TEMPO)] was synthesized from CuBr2 and a new ligand pbt, and characterized by means of X-ray crystal structure analysis and magnetic measurements. The centrosymmetric molecule consists of a Cu6Br10 cluster sandwiched with two pbt·CuBr complexes. Detailed geometrical analysis and magnetic analysis reveal the presence of four copper(I) and four copper(II) ions in a molecule. The formation of complexes between copper(II) halides and 2,2′-dipyridylamine (dipyam) has been studied systematically. Only complexes with a 1:1 and 1:2 metal-to-ligand ratio are formed. Some mixed chloro–iodide and halide–PF6 compounds have also been isolated. The X-ray diffraction structures of the [Cu(dipyam)2Br2] · 2H2O (I) and the [Cu(dipyam)2Cl]2I2 · 2CH3CN (II) complexes are reported. I is a rare example of an octahedral coordination among the copper(II) halide complexes of dipyam. The two bromo atoms, which occupy the apical positions, are H-bonded to the water molecules of crystallization. II is a dimer, where each copper forms a cationic chloro-complex of approximately trigonal bipyramidal geometry, the dimerization being due to hydrogen bonds formed by the NH group of one of the two dipyams coordinated to each metal atom with the chlorine atom of the centrosymmetric cationic complex. The iodide anions are hydrogen-bonded to the NH groups of the dipyams not involved in the dimerization. 相似文献

Four new ternary complexes of Cu(II) containing aspartic or glutamic acids and methionine or cysteine as ligands were studied both in solution and in solid state. The solution study was performed using potentiometry, UV-Vis spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy, and electrochemistry. The stability constants of the ternary complexes were determined by potentiometry. The order of the values for the stability constants was CuGluMet (complex 4) < CuAspMet (complex 2) < CuGluCys (complex 3) < CuAspCys (complex 1), with complex 1 ≈ complex 3 ? complex 2 ≈ complex 4. This behavior was confirmed by the electronic spectra, EPR parameters and cyclic voltammetry. The compounds were synthesized in the solid state and characterized by thermogravimetry as well as vibrational and EPR spectroscopy. The results found in solid state are in agreement with the data found in solution studies where methionine, aspartic and glutamic acids coordinate to the copper(II) ion using the nitrogen atom of the amino group and one oxygen atom of the carboxylate group and cysteine coordinates through the nitrogen and sulfur atoms. The EPR data suggest that the complexes are square planar and that the complexes with cysteine as one of the ligands have some distortion. 相似文献

Density functional theory calculations have been employed to study the interaction between the Zn2+ ion and some standard amino acid models. The highest affinities towards the Zn2+ ion are predicted for serine, cysteine, and histidine. Relatively high affinities are reported also for proline and glutamate/aspartate
residues. It was found that the zinc complexes with cysteine adopt a tetrahedral conformation. Conversely, complexes with
one or two histidine moieties remain in an octahedral geometry, while those with three or more histidine groups adopt a square-planar
geometry.
