The complexes [Cu2(o-NO2-C6H4COO)4(PNO)2] (1), [Cu2(C6H5COO)4(2,2′-BPNO)]n (2), [Cu2(C6H5COO)4(4,4′-BPNO)]n (3), [Cu(p-OH-C6H4COO)2(4,4′-BPNO)2·H2O]n (4), (where PNO = pyridine N-oxide, 2,2′-BPNO = 2,2′-bipyridyl-N,N′-dioxide, 4,4′-BPNO = 4,4′-bipyridyl-N,N′-dioxide) are prepared and characterized and their magnetic properties are studied as a function of temperature. Complex 1 is a discrete dinuclear complex while complexes 2-4 are polymeric of which 2 and 3 have paddle wheel repeating units. Magnetic susceptibility measurements from polycrystalline samples of 1-4 revealed strong antiferromagnetic interactions within the {Cu2}4+ paddle wheel units and no discernible interactions between the units. The complex 5, [Cu(NicoNO)2·2H2O]n·4nH2O, in which the bridging ligand to the adjacent copper(II) ions is nicotinate N-oxide (NicoNO) the transmitted interaction is very weakly antiferromagnetic. 相似文献

The cationic one-dimensional (1D) coordination polymer chain 1∞{[Co(μ-bpdo)(H2O)4]2+} and the metal-complex anion trans-[Co(SO4)2(bpdo)2(H2O)2]2−, both based on the 4,4′-bipyridine-N,N′-dioxide (bpdo) ligand, form a complementary supramolecular pair 1∞{[Co(μ-bpdo)(H2O)4]2+}nn[Co(SO4)2(bpdo)2(H2O)2]2− (1) with respect to charge balance and hydrogen bonding. With a length of >22.14 ? along the bpdo-Co-bpdo axis the metal-complex trans-[Co(SO4)2(bpdo)2(H2O)2]2− is one of the longest and anisotropic counter anions (aspect ratio 22.14:8.11:4.17) observed so far in coordination polymers. Hydrogen-bonding of the anion links the cationic metal-organic 1D polymer into a 2-fold interpenetrated three-dimensional (3D) fsc (or sqc11) 4,6-c 2-nodal net of stoichiometry (4-c)(6-c) with square-planar, 4-connected (Co in anion) and octahedral, 6-connected (Co in cation) nodes in a 1:1 ratio. The 4-c point symbol is (44.62), the 6-c one (44.610.8) yielding a point symbol for the fsc net of (44.62)(44.610.8). The synthesis of 1 requires the presence of a Schiff base. Synthesis under the same conditions in the absence of the Schiff base yields the molecular complex and cocrystal [Co(bpdo)(H2O)5]SO4·1/2bpdo (2) which is related (as pseudo-polymorph) to the known solvate [Co(bpdo)(H2O)5]SO4·2H2O (3) (CSD Refcodes RAXMUZ and RAXMUZ01). 相似文献

The iron(II) compound of formula [Fe(NCS)2(dena)2]n (dena = N,N′-diethylnicotinamide) has been prepared by the reaction between iron(III) thiocyanate and dena in ethanol solution. The complex was characterized by elemental analysis, spectral and magnetic measurements. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods show that the complex, crystallizing in the triclinic space group, undergoes a phase transition between 220 K and 230 K, connected with the doubling of cell volume. Crystal structures at 230 K (1a; HT phase) and 150 K (1b; LT phase) are described and a transition mechanism is discussed. In both phases the compound has an extended chain structure, in which the neutral molecule of N,N′-diethylnicotinamide acts as a bridging ligand binding through pyridine N atom to one centre and through amide O atom to the neighbouring Fe centre. The Fe2+ ion has a slightly distorted trans-octahedral environment with FeO2N4 chromophore, and all Fe-O and Fe-N bonds in the typical for high-spin iron(II) compounds range. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility data in the temperature range 1.8-300 K show that iron(II) is high-spin S = 2(5T2g) and as a result effects due to zero-field splitting are anticipated at low temperatures. The IR spectrum suggested the coordination of N,N′-diethylnicotinamide to the central atom of iron(II) as a bridging ligand and NCS group as a monodentate ligand. 相似文献

Five new complexes, [Co3(HL1)2(Py)8]·4CH3OH (1), [Ni3(HL1)2(Py)4]2·2DMF (2), [Co3(H2L2)2(Py)8]·2NO3 (3), [Ni2(HL2)(Py)6] (4) and [Cu4(HL2)2(Py)4]·4DMF (5) (H4L1 = N-propionyl-4-hydroxysalicylhydrazide, H44-hopshz; H5L2 = N-(3-carboxy-cis-2-propenoyl)-4-hydroxysalicylhydrazide, H54-hocpshz) have been obtained from two N,N′-diacylhydrazide ligands and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, X-ray diffraction and antimicrobial activities. These di-, tri-, and tetrameric complexes are connected into three-dimensional supramolecular architectures with interesting topologies through O-H?O, C-H?O and C-H?π interactions. 1-3 are linear trimeric complexes with the ligands triply-deprotonated. Topological analysis indicates that they exhibit 2D (4,4), 3D (6,8)-connected (3349526)(3441257647) and 8-connected (42563) net, respectively. 4 and 5 possess dimeric and tetrameric structures, which are extended into 7-connected (33413536) and 4-connected (4,4) net, respectively. 相似文献

The interaction of LiN(SiMe3)CH2Ph with one equivalent of benzenitrile gave the N-silyl-N′-benzyl-benzamidinato-lithium compound [{Me3SiNC(Ph)N(CH2Ph)}Li(Et2O)]2 (1). The derivative zirconium and hafnium compounds were produced by the treatment of 1 with ZrCl4 or HfCl4 in tetrahydrofuran or diethyl ether at ambient temperature, respectively, with the general formula [Me3SiNC(Ph)N(CH2Ph)]3MCl (M = Zr (2), Hf (3)). Compounds 1, 2 and 3 were also characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction and NMR analysis. 相似文献

To compare the cytotoxicities and the DNA-binding properties in tetranuclear complexes with different bridging ligands, two tetracopper(II) complexes with formulae of [Cu4(oxbe)2Cl2(bpy)2]·4H2O (1) and [Cu4(oxbm)2Cl2(bpy)2]·2H2O (2) were synthesized, where H3oxbe and H3oxbm stand for N-benzoato-N′-(2-aminoethyl)oxamide and N-benzoato-N′-(1,2-propanediamine)oxamide, respectively, and bpy is 2,2′-bipyridine. Complex 1 was characterized by elemental analyses, IR and electronic spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure reveals the presence of the circular tetranuclear copper(II) cations which are assembled by a pair of cis-oxamido-bridged dinuclear copper(II) units through carboxyl bridges. The crystal structure of complex 2 has been reported in our previous paper. However, the bioactivities were not studied. Cytotoxicities experiments reveal that both the two complexes exhibit cytotoxic effects against human hepatocellular carcinoma cell SMMC-7721 and human lung adenocarcinoma cell A549, and complex 1 has the better activities than those of complex 2. The results of the interactions between the two complexes and herring sperm DNA (HS-DNA) suggest that the two complexes interact with HS-DNA in the mode of intercalation with the intrinsic binding constants of 3.93 × 104 M−1 (1) and 2.48 × 104 M−1 (2). These results indicated that the bridging ligands may play an important role in the cytotoxicities and the DNA-binding properties of tetranuclear complexes. 相似文献

The use of succinamic acid (H2sucm) in Cu(ClO4)2·6H2O/N,N′-donor [2,2′-bipyridine (bpy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (dmbpy), 4,4′-bipyridine (4,4′-bpy)] reaction mixtures yielded compounds [Cu2(Hsucm)3(bpy)2](ClO4)·0.5MeOH (1·0.5MeOH), [Cu2(Hsucm)(OH)(H2O)(bpy)](ClO4)2 (2), [Cu4(Hsucm)5(dmbpy)4]n(ClO4)3n·nH2O ·0.53nMeOH (3·nH2O·0.53nMeOH), [Cu2(Hsucm)2(dmbpy)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2·2H2O (4·2H2O), [Cu2(Hsucm)2(phen)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2·1.8MeOH (5·1.8MeOH), [Cu2(Hsucm)2(phen)2(MeOH)2](ClO4)2·MeOH (6·MeOH) and [Cu(Hsucm)2(H2O)(4,4′-bpy)]n (7). The succinamate(−1) ligand exists in five different coordination modes in the structures of 1-7, i.e. the common syn, syn μ2-κO:κO′ in 1-6, the μ2-κ2O in 1, the μ2-κ2O:κO′ in 1, the μ3-κ2O:κ2O′ in 3, and the monodentate κO in 7. The primary amide group of Hsucm− remains uncoordinated and participates in intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonding interactions leading to interesting crystal structures. Characteristic IR bands of the complexes are discussed in terms of the known structures and the coordination modes of the Hsucm− ligands. The thermal decomposition of representative complexes was monitored by TG/DTG and DTA measurements. 相似文献

Two novel Co(II) coordination polymers {[Co(H2O)2(CH3OH)2(4-bpfp)](NO3)2}n1 (4-bpfp=N,N′-bis(4-pyridylformyl)piperazine) and [Co(NCS)2(CH3OH)2(3-bpfp)]n2 (3-bpfp=N,N′-bis(3-pyridylformyl)piperazine) have been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Both the polymers consist of one-dimensional chains constructed by bridging bpfp ligands and Co(II) ions. The existence of O?H-O hydrogen bond in 1 and S?H-O hydrogen bond in 2 play important roles in creating interesting supramolecular structures. Their third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties in DMF solution have been studied by Z-scan technique. The results reveal that polymers 1 and 2 exhibit strong NLO absorption effects (α2=9.00×10−11 m W−1 for 1; 1.41 × 10−10 m W−1 for 2) and self-focusing performance (n2=3.24×10−16 esu for 1; 3.05 × 10−16 esu for 2) in DMF solutions. The corresponding effective NLO susceptibilities χ(3) values are 3.08 × 10−12 esu (1) and 4.70 × 10−12 esu (2). All of the values are comparable to those of the reported good NLO materials. Additionally, the TG-DTA results of the two polymers are in agreement with the crystal structures. 相似文献

The structures of the solvated iron(II) and iron(III) ions have been studied in solution and solid state by extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) in three oxygen donor solvents, water, dimethylsulfoxide (Me2SO), N,N′-dimethylpropyleneurea (DMPU), and one sulfur donor solvent, N,N-dimethylthioformamide (DMTF); these solvents have different coordination and solvation properties. In addition, the structure of hexakis(dimethylsulfoxide)iron(III) perchlorate has been determined crystallographically to support the determination of the corresponding solvate in solution. The hydrated, the dimethylsulfoxide and N,N-dimethylthioformamide solvated iron(II) ions show regular octahedral coordination in both solution and solid state with mean Fe-O, Fe-O, and Fe-S bond distances of 2.10, 2.10, and 2.52 Å, respectively, whereas the N,N′-dimethylpropyleneurea iron(II) solvate is five-coordinated, d(Fe-O) = 2.06 Å. The compounds vary in color from light green (hydrate) to dark orange or red (DMPU). The hydrated iron(III) ion in aqueous solution and the dimethylsulfoxide solvated iron(III) ions in solution and solid state show the expected octahedral coordination, the Fe-O bond distances are 2.00 Å for both, whereas the N,N′-dimethylpropyleneurea iron(III) solvate is found to be five-coordinated with a mean Fe-O bond distance of 1.99 Å. The N,N-dimethylthioformamide solvated iron(III) ion in the solid perchlorate salt is tetrahedrally four-coordinated, the mean Fe-S bond distance is 2.20 Å. Iron(III) is reduced with time to iron(II) in N,N-dimethylthioformamide solution. The compounds vary in color from pale yellow (hydrate) to blackish red (DMPU). 相似文献

Three new ligands and their palladium(II) complexes of general formula [PdCl2(R2-S,S-eddp)] (R = n-propyl, n-butyl and n-pentyl) have been synthesized and characterized by microanalysis, infrared and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Antimicrobial activity of these ligands and complexes was tested by microdilution method and both minimal inhibitory and microbicidal concentration were determined. These tested complexes demonstrated the significant antifungal activity against pathogenic fungi Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus fumigatus. On the other hand, these complexes demonstrated moderate antibacterial activity. 相似文献

The complex formation between iron(III) and bromide has been studied calorimetrically in N,N′-dimethylpropyleneurea (DMPU), and the structure of the DMPU solvated tribromoiron(III) complex has been studied in solution by extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) and large angle X-ray scattering (LAXS), and in solid state by EXAFS and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The calorimetric study showed that iron(III) forms three medium strong bromide complexes in DMPU, and the thermodynamic pattern strongly indicates that all complexes are formed in entropy driven substitution reactions. In DMPU solution, the tribromoiron(III) complex has a regular trigonal planar configuration with a mean Fe-Br bond distance of 2.36 Å, and without any solvent molecules strongly bound to iron(III). In the solid state, however, the structure is a slightly distorted trigonal bipyramid, with one short and two slightly longer Fe-Br bonds, 2.37 and 2.44 Å, respectively, in a somewhat distorted trigonal plane, and two DMPU solvent molecules (mean Fe-O bond distance 1.98 Å) in the apical positions. The DMPU solution of iron(III) bromide and the [FeBr3(dmpu)2] crystals are both blackish red. 相似文献

Two new mononuclear Mn(II) complexes, Mn(dmbpy)2(OCN)2 (1) and Mn(dmbpy)2(dca)2 (2) (dmbpy = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine, dca = dicyanamide), have been synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, and single crystal X-ray analysis. Both complexes have similar molecular structures. The coordination sphere of the Mn(II) ion in 1 or 2 is a seriously distorted octahedron formed by two dmbpy ligands and two OCN− or dca anions in cis positions. For both complexes, the most striking feature is that the mononuclear molecules are linked together by plentiful weak C-H?N hydrogen bonds into a compact 3D supramolecular structure. DNA cleavage studies show that the complexes can promote plasmid DNA cleavage in the presence of H2O2 under physiological conditions, and their cleavage activities are obviously both pH value and complex concentration-dependent. The cleavage mechanism between the complexes and plasmid DNA is likely to involve hydroxyl radicals as reactive oxygen species. 相似文献

The influence of coanion on self-assembly of CuSO4 and 4,4′-dipyridyl sulfide (dps) was studied in this paper. During the formation of Cu(II)/dps coordination polymers, coanions Cl−, SCN− and were added in the solution respectively. Three novel coordination polymers were obtained, {[Cu(dps)2 · (SO4)2][Cu(dps) · Cl · (H2O)2]2 · 12H2O}n (1 · 12H2O, a 3D network), {[Cu(SCN)2(dps)(CH3OH)2][Cu(dps)2 · SO4][Cu(dps)(CH3CH2OH)2 · SO4] · 5H2O}n (2 · 5H2O, a 3D network), and {[Cu(dps)2(H2O)2] · (PF6)2 · 3H2O}n (3 · 3H2O, a 2D lattice network). Different coanion shows different influence on framework construction. In 1 and 2, Cl− and SCN− act as terminal ligands and similar 3D frameworks were composed of [Cu(dps)] layer with larger cavity (ca. 400 Å) and sulfate bridge; in 3, replaces entirely and the 3D framework was broken due to the removal of bridging anions. We report the synthesis and characterization of a seven coordinate europium complex, [EuCl3(C10H8N2O2) · 2CH3OH]. The growing interest in developing efficient light conversion molecular devices (LCMDs) necessitates the need for new fluorescent materials. Ideal physicochemical properties of the materials include ligand absorption, efficient metal to ligand transfer, and strong luminescence with a relatively long decay time. The design of such material requires distinct absorbing (ligand) and emitting (metal ion) components. While Eu3+ cation has a non-degenerate emitting level, 2,2′-bipyridine N,N dioxide is a heterocyclic ligand known to exhibit strong luminescence. Additional characterization is also described, including single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopies and elemental analysis. 相似文献

Two 1D organic-inorganic coordination polymers, [Cd(3-pmpmd)(CH3CN)2(H2O)2]n · 2n(ClO4)2 (1) and [Zn(3-pmpmd)1.5(H2O)2]n · 2n(ClO4)2 · nCH3CN (2), were obtained from M(ClO4)2 (M = Cd, Zn) and the semi-flexible 3,3′-N-donor bis-pyridyl ligand 3-pmpmd: 1 has an 1D zigzag framework with 3-pmpmd in the ZT-mode (anti, trans-) conformation, while 2 has an 1D rod and loop network with 3-pmpmd in both ZT- and ZC-mode (anti, cis-) conformations. The new N,N,O heteroscorpionate ligand 3,3-bis(1-vinylimidazol-2-yl)propionic acid (Hbvip) (5) was synthesised in five steps starting from 1-vinylimidazole. This ligand is closely related to 3,3-bis(1-methylimidazol-2-yl)propionic acid (Hbmip), but contains two vinyl linker groups which can be used for radical-induced polymerisation reactions. The κ3-N,N,O coordination behaviour of 5 was proven by the synthesis of the tricarbonyl complexes [Re(bvip)(CO)3] (6), [Mn(bvip)(CO)3] (7) and [Cu(bvip)2] (8). To obtain good yields of 6, it was synthesised in water instead of THF. The ligand as well as all three complexes were characterised by X-ray crystallography. Copolymerisation of 5 with pure methyl methacrylate (MMA) or a combination of MMA and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) led to the solid phases P1 and P2. Polymer-bound rhenium and manganese tricarbonyl complexes could be obtained by the reaction of deprotonated P1 with [MBr(CO)5] (M = Re, Mn) and also by copolymerisation of 6 and 7 with MMA. In both cases, the facial tripodal binding behaviour was evidenced by IR spectra of the polymers. Furthermore, the content of metal incorporated in the polymers was determined by elemental analysis, AAS or ICP-OES measurements. Reaction of the deprotonated solid phase P1 with copper(II) chloride led to a blue solid-phase (P1-Cu). The UV-Vis absorption maximum of P1-Cu is found at 615 nm, which is almost identical to that found for 8. Thereby, it seems likely that P1 is flexible enough to form bisligand complexes with copper(II). This means that the copper centres act as a kind of crosslinking agents. In contrast, the heterogeneous reaction of P2 with copper(II) chloride yielded a lime green solid phase (P2-Cu). The bathochromic shift of the absorption maximum by 102 nm suggests one-sided bound copper centres. 相似文献

Due to the better solubility of the 4,4′-substituted bipyridine ligand a series of 4,4′-bis(tert-butyl)-2,2′-bipyridinedichlorometal(II) complexes, [M(tbbpy)Cl2], with M = Cu, Ni, Zn, Pd, Pt was synthesised and characterised. The blue copper complex 4,4′-bis(tert-butyl)-2,2′-bipyridinedichlorocopper(II) was isolated in two different polymorphic forms, as prisms 1 with a solvent inclusion and solvent-free as needles 2. Both structures were determined by X-ray structure analysis. They crystallise in the monoclinic space group P21/c with four molecules in the unit cell, but with different unit cells and packing motifs. Whereas in the prisms 1, with the unit cell parameters a = 12.1613(12), b = 10.6363(7), c = 16.3074(15) Å, β = 94.446(8)°, the packing is dominated by intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds, in the needles 2, with a = 7.738(1), b = 18. 333(2), c = 13.291(3) Å, β = 97.512(15)°, only intramolecular hydrogen bonds appear and the complex molecules are arranged in columns which are stabilised by π-π-stacking interactions. In both complexes the copper has a tetrahedrally distorted coordination sphere. These copper complexes were also studied by EPR spectroscopy in solution, as frozen glass and diamagnetically diluted powder with the analogue [Pd(tbbpy)Cl2] as host lattice. 相似文献

The malonato-bridged copper(II) complex [Cu(mal)(H2O)(azpy)1/2] · H2O (1) (mal = malonate, azpy = 4,4′-azobispyridine) has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction. The structure of 1 consists of malonato-bridged uniform copper(II) chains which are covalent connected through azpy to form two-dimensional wavelike network. The magnetic pathway of complex 1 is through a single syn-anti carboxylate bridge connecting equatorial and equatorial positions of adjacent copper(II) atoms, and have the value of the intrachain ferromagnetic coupling (J = 8.73(3) cm−1) and interchain antiferromagnetic coupling (zJ′ = − 1.31(1) cm−1) through a numerical expression for a ferromagnetic uniform chain. 相似文献
