Attagenus arboreus sp. n. differs from A. silvaticus Zhant. in the structure of the antennae and aedeagus. A. cuneatus sp. n. may be distinguished from A. turcomanus Zhant. by the enlarged eyes and by the structure of the male antennae and aedeagus; A. gilanicus sp. n. differs from the two preceding species in the dark elytra and in the structure of the aedeagus, and from A. turcomanus, in addition, in the structure of the antennae of the male. A. fortis sp. n. differs from A. steinbergi Zhant. in the shape of the body and structure of the male antennae and aedeagus. A. doricus sp. n. differs from A. posticalis Fairm. and A. lynx Muls. et Rey in the fine pubescence, absence of distinct pale elytral bands, and the structure of the aedeagus. An up-to-date checklist of the Italian Dermestidae is provided. The presence of 95 species in Italy is confirmed, while further 5 species (Dermestes (Dermestes) vorax Motschulsky, 1860, Thorictuspilosus Peyron, 1857, T. wasmanni Reitter, 1895, Attagenus (Attagenus) simonis Reitter, 1881 and Globicornis (G.) breviclavis (Reitter, 1878)) and 1 subspecies (A. (A.) tigrinus pulcher Faldermann, 1835) are excluded from the Italian fauna.Attagenus (Attagenus) calabricus Reitter, 1881 and A. (A.) lobatus Rosenhauer, 1856 are for the first time recorded from Abruzzi and Tuscany respectively; A. (A.) silvaticus Zhantiev, 1976 is recorded for the first time from mainland Italy (Apulia); Anthrenus (Anthrenus) angustefasciatus Ganglbauer, 1904 is new to northern Italy (Friuli-Venezia Giulia), central Italy (Tuscany), Apulia and Basilicata; A. (A.) munroi Hinton, 1943 is new to central Italy (Elba Island); A. (A.) delicatus Kiesenwetter, 1851 is for the first time recorded from Apulia; Globicornis (Globicornis) fasciata (Fairmaire & Brisout de Barneville, 1859) is new to southern Italy (Basilicata); G. (Hadrotoma) sulcata (C.N.F. Brisout de Barneville, 1866) is for the first time recorded from central Italy (Abruzzi), Campania and Sicily, whileTrogoderma inclusum LeConte, 1854 is new to Apulia.Seven species (Dermestes (Dermestes) peruvianus Laporte de Castelnau, 1840, D. (Dermestinus) carnivorus Fabricius, 1775, D. (Dermestinus) hankae Háva, 1999, D. (Dermestinus) intermedius intermedius Kalík, 1951, D. (Dermestinus) szekessyi Kalík, 1950, Anthrenus (Anthrenops) coloratus Reitter, 1881 and Trogodermaangustum (Solier, 1849)) recently recorded from Italy (without further details) are discussed.The lectotype and a paralectotype are designated forAttagenus (A.) calabricus Reitter, 1881 from Calabria.Attagenus pellio (Linnaeus, 1758) var. pilosissimus Roubal, 1932 is removed from synonymy with A. A new species, Auleutes alexanderi sp. n. formerly confused with and similar to the Holarctic A. epilobii (Pk.) is described from the Middle West and Southeast United States. The new species differs from A. epilobii in the rostrum densely covered with broad white scales in males and longer, less strongly curved and matte, not striate, and less flattened in females and in the structure of the aedeagus with a broad membranous medial part along the entire length.  相似文献

Morphological features of the species of the genus Adoxomyia Kertész, 1907 with bicolorous antennae in females were studied for the first time. Significant diagnostic characters are discussed, e.g., the structure of the head, the type of pubescence on the frons and face, the shape and coloration of the scutellar spines, and the morphology of the genitalia (the synstemum, the basal part of the epandrium, and the aedeagus). A new species, Adoxomyia subruficornis sp. n., is described from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan; it differs from A. ruficornis (Loew, 1873) in a dense pale pubescence on the frons, pale scutellar spines, elongate median projection of the synstemum, and rounded epandrial processes.  相似文献

A new subgenus of Polia, Metallopolia subgen. n., two new species (Polia (Metallopolia) dysgnorima sp. n. and P. (M.) metagnorima sp. n.) from China (Sichuan, Yunnan, Gansu), and a new subspecies, P. (M.) subviolacea kanchenjunga ssp. n. from Nepal and SE Tibet (Sikkim) are described. Habitus, antennae, male and female genitalia of all Metallopolia species are characterised, depicted and compared with the related species.  相似文献

Based on the examination of newly collected material and additional specimens housed in Chinese collections, our knowledge of Gastroserica Brenske, 1897, is expanded. Here, seven new species are described, including habitus photographs and illustrations of the male genitalia: Gastroserica haoyui sp. n. (China: Zhejiang Prov.), G. fengduana sp. n. (China: Sichuan Prov.), G. wenzhui sp. n. (China: Guangxi Prov.), G. damingshanica sp. n. (from China: Guangxi Prov.), G. jinxiuensis sp. n. (China: Guangxi Prov.), G. liboensis sp. n. (China: Yunnan Prov.) and G. carolusi sp. n. (Laos). Additionally, we provide a distribution map of the new taxa and new distribution records of the known taxa.  相似文献

An annotated species list of carpenter moths (Lepidoptera, Cossidae) of the Altai Mountain Range is presented. It includes 26 species from 3 subfamilies. Two species are new to science: Semagystia tarbagataica Yakovlev, sp. n. and Dyspessa saissanica Yakovlev, sp. n. The former differs from the other species of the genus (except Semagystia enigma Yakovlev, 2007 from southeastern Turkey whose wing pattern is totally reduced) in the absence of wing pattern; a specific clavate shape of the process on the costal margin of valve is also its important diagnostic character. Dyspessa saissanica Yakovlev, sp. n. belongs to the well-revised Dyspessa salicicola (Eversmann, 1848) species group (Yakovlev, 2005); the closest species is D. salicicola, which also has elongate processes of the pectinate antennae and a weakly developed ridge on the costal marginof valve. The newly described species is different in having a poorly developed dark pattern on the forewings, very broad bases of the processes of the transtilla, a thinner base of the aedeagus, and thinner lateral processes of the juxta. In conclusion, the carpenter moth fauna of the Altai Mountains is briefly analyzed.  相似文献

A review of species of the pill-beetle genus Curimopsis Ganglb. in the fauna of North Asia is presented. New localities for Curimopsis (s. str.) cyclolepidia (Münster, 1902)—the Gydanskii Peninsula, Tazovskii Vill.; C. (s. str.) moosilauke Johnson, 1986—Kamchatka, Esso Vill., and C. (s. str.) monticola Franz, 1967—Irkutsk (Russia) and Baruunturuun somon (Mongolia) are recorded. Two new species, C. (s. str.) nordensis Tshernyshev, sp. n. (Taimyr Peninsula) and C. (s. str.) olgae Tshernyshev, sp. n. (the Suntar-Khayata Range, Yakutia) are described. The first species is similar to C. (s. str.) cyclolepidia (Münst.) and differs in the not prominent humeri and in a curved apical lobe of the aedeagus; the second species is closely related to C. (s. str.) moosilauke Johns. but differs in almost completely reduced humeri with an expanded basal elytral angle and in the trapezoid lamella of the aedeagus. Curimopsis mongoliensis Paulus described from Kuku-Nor (the Tibet) is supposed to belong to the Chinese alpine fauna and is deleted from the list of the North and Central Asian fauna. Diagnosis, illustrations of the male genitalia, and a distribution map are given for all the species.  相似文献

(Pluricosta onthophiloides sp. n.), Pyxister gen. n. (Pyxister devorator sp. n. [type species] and Pyxister labralis sp. n.), Chapischema gen. n. (Chapischema doppelganger sp. n.), Scaptorus gen. n. (Scaptorus pyramus sp. n.), Lacrimorpha gen. n. (Lacrimorpha glabra sp. n. [type species], Lacrimorpha balbina sp. n., Lacrimorpha subdepressa sp. n., and Lacrimorpha acuminata sp. n.), Crenulister gen. n. (Crenulister grossus sp. n. [type species], Crenulister explanatus sp. n., Crenulister dentatus sp. n., Crenulister impar sp. n., Crenulister umbrosus sp. n., Crenulister simplex sp. n., Crenulister paucitans sp. n., Crenulister spinipes sp. n., and Crenulister seriatus sp. n.) These all represent highly distinctive and phylogenetically isolated forms, almost invariably known from very few specimens. All but one species have been collected only by passive flight intercept traps, and nothing significant is known about the biology of any of them.  相似文献

Altica filipendulae sp. n. is described from the Southern Urals. The new species is most closely related to A. longicollis (Allard) and differs from it in the narrower terete body with less prominent humeri, shallower antebasal depression of the pronotum, details of the aedeagus structure, and in the host plant. The genus Bothynogria Borchmann, 1915 is reviewed, with a key to all known seven species provided in the present paper. A new species Bothynogria nigripennis sp. n., and two new record species for China, Bothynogria bicolor (Kollar et Redtenbacher, 1848) and Bothynogria meghalayana Merkl, 1990, are identified and redescribed. The habitus, male antennae and aedeagus are photographed and presented for all known species except for Bothynogria bhutanica. Abstract: Based on surveys of species of museum pest insects commonly found in Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden, six species were selected for a study of the effect of exposure to anoxic treatment on the larval stage. An oxygen level of 0.3% (the rest, nitrogen) was applied and lethal exposure times were determined. Anthrenus museorum L. was the most susceptible species (LT99 = 32.2 h), while Attagenus woodroffei Halst. & Green and Attagenus smirnovi Zhantiev (LT99 = 88.1 h) were the most tolerant species. The LT99 value of At. woodroffei was not calculated, as only 50% of the larvae were killed by the treatment. The results indicate that large intraspecific variation is present in these two Attagenus species. Larvae of Anthrenus verbasci (L.) (LT99 = 43.9 h), Reesa vespulae (Milliron) (LT99 = 53.6 h), and Trogoderma angustum (Solier) (LT99 = 57.2 h) showed intermediate tolerance.  相似文献

A new species, Distenia orientalis sp. n. is described from Southeastern China. It was misidentified as Distenia gracilis (Blessig, 1872) but can be separated from the latter by the color of antennae and legs, structure differences on scape, maxillary palp, pronotum, tibiae, punctures on elytra, etc. Three related species are carefully diagnosed and treated.  相似文献

Morphological and genetic data have been obtained for five new East Asian species of the Psilostomatidae. The life cycle of Psilotrema limosum n. sp. was carried out using Parafossarulus manchouricus as the first intermediate host. Compared with the East Asian species of the genus, these worms differ in morphometric characters in both the cercarial and adult stages. Its validity was also confirmed by the 28S rRNA gene data. Data on the life cycle and morphology of developmental stages of Sphaeridiotrema ussuriensis n. sp. and Sphaeridiotrema aziaticus n. sp. were also obtained. Cercariae of these species are found in Parafossarulus and Boreoelona snails, respectively. Sphaeridiotrema ussuriensis n. sp., like Sphaeridiotrema monorchis in China, has one testis, while S. aziaticus n. sp. has two testes. In addition, S. monorchis from Vietnam and Sphaeridiotrema spinoacetabulum from the Russian southern Far East are justified as belonging to the new species named Sphaeridiotrema vietnamensis n. sp. and Sphaeridiotrema pyriforme n. sp., respectively. This proposition is based on the morphology of developmental stages, the list of the first intermediate hosts and the 28S rRNA gene data. Analysis of the phylogenetic relationships within Psilostomatidae revealed three clusters, including taxa with different life cycles strategies. Sphaeridiotrema was also divided into two groups, which combine species according to their intermediate hosts and geographical localisation.  相似文献

Here 13 species of the nonfoliicolous species of the lichen familyEctolechiaceae Zahlbr. em.Haf. are reported, which were found in a collection from Brazil. Six species are described as new:Badimia corticola (sp.n.),Calopadia isidiosa (sp.n.),C. psoromoides (sp.n.),C. subfusca (sp.n.),Tapellaria corticola (sp.n.), andT. schindleri (sp.n.). A new subfamily, genus and species of mayflies, Vetuformosa buckleyi n. gen., n. sp. (Ephemeroptera: Baetidae; Vetuformosinae n. subfam.), are described as the first representative of the family Baetidae from Early Cretaceous Burmese amber. The female fossil is characterised by unusually long antennae, two pairs of gonostyli representing a primitive appendiculate ovipositor, sensory patches on sternites 8, 9 and 10, protuberances on the egg chorion and the absence of a costal projection on the hind wing. This is the first documentation of such long antennae and a primary ovipositor in the Ephemeroptera.  相似文献

A new classification is proposed for the gall-midge tribe Aphidoletini including 4 subtribes, 10 genera, and 18 species: Aphidoletina—3 genera with 7 species (Aphidoletes, Tribremia, Ligulodiplosis), Monobremiina subtrib. n.—2 genera with 5 species (Monobremia, Shikotanodiplosis gen. n.), Aculeatodiplosina subtrib. n.—2 genera with 2 species (Aculeatodiplosis, Setodiplosis), and Triommatomyiina—3 genera with 4 species (Triommatomyia, Tingidoletes, Chanchudiplosis). New subtribes and a new genus with a new species are described. Shikotanodiplosis sundukovi gen. et sp. n. differs from Monobremia in a wide and curved aedeagus, basally swollen sclerotized hypoproct, and small basal lobes of the gonocoxites. Keys to the subtribes, genera, and species of Aphidoletini are given. The diagnoses of Aculeatodiplosis fasciata Fedotova et Sidorenko, 2005, Setodiplosis unifaria Fedotova, 2006, and Triommatomyia Mamaev, 1961 are supplemented with biometrical characters. Tribremia aphidophaga Marikovskij, 1956 is resurrected from synonyms of Aphidoletes aphidimyza (Rondani, 1847).  相似文献
