Yunnan is extends across the subtropical and tropical zones, situated in the southern border area of southwestern China. This district is extremely rich in plants, and thus, it has been known as a “Kingdom of Plants”. However, up to the present our knowledge of the Charophyta in this region has been scanty. In order to get a thorough understanding of its Charophyta, we identified specimens collected from 13 countries or cities in this province. The result shows that is especially abundant in Charophyta. In this paper, however, only are reported new species, new varieties and new records of China on the Nitelleae. The former two are Nitella hokouensis, N. bicornuta, N. longicaudata, N. procera, N. brevidactyla, N. papillata, N. pseudohyalina, N. hyalina var. aberrans and Tolypella yunnanensis; while the third is Nitella globulifera Pal andN. japonica T. The authors examined specimens collected from Beijing, Hebei Province and North-east China. Two new species, one variety and five new records of the Characeae from China are reported in this paper. Guizhou is situated in the southwestern China and is very rich in algae However, our present knowledge of the Charophytes is scanty. Over 400 specimens were collected from 22 counties or cities and from them 41 species, 2 subspecies, 3 varieties were found. In addition to previously known species of this region, Nitella rasilis, N. paludosa, N. pseudopapillata and N. guizhouensis are new species, N. mirabilis var. libera is new variety, and N. penicillata, Chara burmanica, C. vulgaris var. gymnophylla are new records for China. Guangxi, Situated in the southern border area of China, is extremely rich in Charophytes. In this paper, however, reported are only new species and new varieties. Among the new taxa, Nitella haplodactyla has only one dactyl on the fertile branchlet, N. brachyclema and N. rarissima are provided with more than 4-celled dactyls, the fertile branchlet of N. pseudoflabellata var. tetradynana has tetradynamous rays, and Chara piniformis is characterized by thehaplostichous cortex, long spinecells, and rudimentary stipulodes.  相似文献

In this paper a new species of Nitella, N. vermiformis, from Sichuan is reported. The new species is the similar to Nitella procera Han from Yunnan. But gametangia of the latter grow in every furcte, and fertile branchlets are similar to sterile ones. There are not central radial branchlets and accessory branchlets in first furcate branchlet; the membrane ofoospore is vermiform-processed.  相似文献

Summary This article gives a survey of nucleus-associated structures and inclusions in a diverse range of characean algae includingChara braunii Gm.,Chara corallina Klein ex Willd., em. R.D.W.,Nitella cristata A.Br., em. R.D.W.,Nitella flexilis (L.) Ag.,Nitella furcata (Roxb. ex Bruz.) Ag. em. R.D.W.,Nitella hyalina (DC.) Ag.,Nitella pseudoflabellata A.Br., em. R.D.W.,Nitella pseudoflabellata var.imperialis T.F.A.,Nitella translucens var.axillaris (A.Br.) R.D.W. andNitellopsis obtusa (Desv. in Lois.) J.Gr. Lampbrushchromosome-like structures were found in nuclei ofNitella flexilis andNitellopsis obtusa and seem to be involved in the distribution of genetic material during nuclear fragmentation. Intranuclear tubular crystals of unknown protein composition were present in all species, especially in young, elongating cells, and could be important for establishing the main axis of the nuclei. Spindle-shaped protein crystals that originate in the nucleus and are released into the cytoplasm upon nuclear degeneration were observed in branchlet internodal cells of one population ofNitella flexilis. Perinuclear microtubules were present in all species, but perinuclear actin fibrils were hitherto only found in mostNitella species and inNitellopsis obtusa. None of these nucleus-associated structures seems to be responsible for the formation of constrictions leading to nuclear fragmentation. These constrictions were perpendicular to the main axis of the nucleus and symmetrical in theNitella species but asymmetric inC. braunii, C. corallina, and inNitellopsis obtusa. 澳大利亚轮藻植物研究历史悠久,迄今约有95种被描记。在Wood(1972)对澳大利亚轮藻植物的修订研究中,一些种因为标本遗失或已损坏而未包括在内,其中有的种近年来又被重新发现。本文重点介绍Nitella hookeri A.Br.var.arthroglochin A.Br.,Lychnothamnus barbatus(Meyen)Leonh.和Nitella partita Nordst.的发现过程及其产地生态环境,探讨了季节性湿地对轮藻植物的保护意义。N.hookeri var.arthroglochin早在1854年就发现于澳大利亚,并于1887年再次作为澳大利亚特有物种而被记录,然而从此销声匿迹,直至1989年才再度问世,它重新出现的地点为新南威尔士州高海拔花岗岩风化土壤地区的季节性溪流中。L.barbatus则为R.D.Wood首次发现于1960年,嗣后一再搜寻并无踪迹,直到1996年才于昆士兰东南地区亚热带阵发性溪流中被再次发现。昆士兰中部干旱地区1889年一度见到的N.partita,也是近一百年后才在新南威尔士州西北干旱地区的季节性湿地再次发现。  相似文献

Anhui Province is situated in the subtropical and temperate zones. With favorable climate this district is rich in algae. During 1982-1986, the author made a number of collections of the algal specimens-about 1000 samples from 36 counties and cities of the province. The identification result shows that there are about 30 species and 15 varieties of Scenedesmus in the province. In present paper, however, reported are only some new taxa and new records of Scenedesmus. The 4 new species are Scenedesmus anhuiensis, S. huangshanensis, S. quadrialatus and S. wuhuensis, the 2 new varieties are Scenedesmus prismaticus var. spinosus and S. smithii var. spinulosus, and the 4 new records of distribution in China are Scenedesmus denticulatus var. australis Playfair, S. prismaticus Bruhl et Biswas, S. quadricauda var. dentatus Dedussand S. smithii Teiling.  相似文献

This paper is a revision of genus Crotalaria(Papilionaceae) in Yunnan. 30 species and 2 varieties of this genus have been described so far. Hence, there are 27 species, including 4 exotic species, and 4 varieties are distributed in this very province. Among them, 1 new variety, C. mairei var. pubescens, and 3 new combinations, C. yunnanensis var. heqingensis, C. peguana var. qiubeiensis, and C. albida var. gengmaensis, and 1 new record of China, C. humifusa, are included. In addition, 2 species are combined, they are C. jingpingensis to C. prostrata and C. yuanjiangensis to C. medicaginea. A freeze-fracture investigation of the putative cellulose synthesizing complex (terminal complex) morphology in Nitella translucens var. axillaris (A. Br.) R.D.W. internodal cells revealed single solitary EF globules and PF rosettes on the plasma membrane. The average density of rosettes in elongating internodal cells was 5.6 μm?2 with slight spatial variation observed. In only three other algal genera (all zygnematalean) have rosette / globule terminal complexes been observed, while this characteristic is common to all vascular plants and one moss thus far investigated. This evidence strongly suggests that the rosette type of terminal complex morphology is an additional characteristic of charophycean algae and lends further support to the hypothesis that this group of algae represents the evolutionary line that gave rise to vascular plants. Observations were also made from the freeze-fracture of Nitella internodal cells concerning the orientation of cell wall microfibrils and cytoskeletal elements near the plasma membrane. The pattern of microfibril orientation in growing internodal cells is initially transverse to the cell long axis, becoming progressively axial presumably due to the strain of elongation. In mature internodal cells, the pattern of microfibril orientation is helicoidal. Microtubules appressed to the inner surface of the plasma membrane are oriented parallel to the most recently formed microfibrils in elongating and mature internodal cells.  相似文献

报道了中国菊属(Chrysanthemum)一新变种——阔叶毛华菊(Chrysanthemum vestitum(Hem sl.)Stapf.var.latifolium J.Zhou et J.Y.Chen)。本变种与模式变种的区别在于直立生长,并且较多分枝,叶较狭,卵状披针形或匙形,长4~6 cm,宽2~3 cm。花序直径较原种为小,约3.5~4.5 cm。主要分布于湖北宜昌、河南伏牛山山脉。抗旱性较原变种强。而主要原产于安徽西部大别山麓之模式变种则铺散生长,较少分枝,叶圆形、卵圆形,长4~7cm,宽3~5 cm。花序直径较大,约4.5~5.0 cm。  相似文献
