A comparative study of metallophilic interactions of [Pt(tpy)X]+ cations (tpy = 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine) in the presence of two different types of anions, (i) [] anions that form double salts and (ii) simple p-block anions, is reported. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction data, solution-state 195Pt NMR spectra, and variable temperature solid-state luminescence spectra are reported. Three [Pt(tpy)Cl]Y derivatives (Y = SbF6, 1, SbF6·CH3CN, 4, PF6, 2) and the [Pt(tpy)Br]PF6 analog, 3, as well as two new double salts [Pt(tpy)CN][Au(CN)2], 5, and [Pt(tpy)CN]2[Au(C6F5)2](PF6), 6, have been synthesized and characterized. Structural analysis shows consistent patterns in Pt···Pt interactions that vary slightly depending on the coordinating halogen or pseudo-halogen X, counter anion Y, and lattice solvent. Metallophilic interactions are seen between [Pt(tpy)X]+ cations with all types of X ligands, but only with π-accepting X′ ligands from [] anions are Pt?Au metallophilic interactions seen to be favored over Pt?Pt interactions. The [Au(CN)2] anion consistently forms Pt···Au metallophilic contacts, unlike [Au(C6F5)2]. The 195Pt NMR chemical shifts are ∼−2750 ppm for π-donor ligands and near −3120 ppm for π-acceptor ligands in [Pt(tpy)X]PF6 compounds. Luminescence data show an unusual blue shift in [Pt(tpy)CCPh][Au(C6F5)2] versus [Pt(tpy)CCPh]PF6 ascribed to an intermolecular charge transfer.  相似文献

Reaction of [Ru2(O2CMe)4]Cl with K3[Cr(CN)5NO] in water forms Hx[RuII/III2(O2CMe)4]3−x-[Cr(CN)5NO]·zH2O (x = 0.2) that magnetically orders at 4.0 K and possesses an interpenetrating body centered cubic [a = 13.2509(2) Å] structure with random locations of the bridging nitrosyl ligands, and x/3 vacant cation sites. Similarly, the aqueous reaction of [Ru2(O2CMe)4]Cl with Na2[Fe(CN)5NO] forms paramagnetic [Ru2(O2CMe)4]2[Fe(CN)5NO]·H2O, which has a similar tetragonal interpenetrating structure [a = 13.0186(1) Å, c = 13.0699(2) Å] where the NO ligands are presumably nonbridging and 1/3 of the expected cation sites are unoccupied. The presence of uncoordinated NO sites in addition to missing neighboring [Ru2(O2CMe)4]+ units, results in significant vacancies (or holes) in the lattice.  相似文献

The salts - yellow [Cr(NH3)6][Ag(CN)2]3 · 2H2O, red [Co(NH3)6][Ag(CN)2]3 · 2H2O, red [Co(NH3)6][Au(CN)2]3 · 2H2O, pale yellow [Ru(NH3)6][Ag(CN)2]3 · 2H2O, yellow K[Cr(NH3)6]2[Au(CN)2]7 · 4H2O, and colorless [(μ2-NH2)2Pt2(NH3)10][Au(CN)2]6 · 5.5{OS(CH3)2} · 0.5H2O - have been prepared by evaporation of aqueous solutions of potassium dicyanoargenate or potassium dicyanoaurate and salts of the appropriate cations. Hydrogen bonding between the cations and the cyano groups of the anions facilitates the formation of structures with strong metallophilic interactions between the anions. Thus, the [Au(CN)2] or [Ag(CN)2] ions self-associate into linear trimers in the isostructural set of crystals, [Cr(NH3)6][Ag(CN)2]3 · 2H2O (Ag?Ag distance; 3.1610(4) Å), [Co(NH3)6][Ag(CN)2]3 · 2H2O (Ag?Ag distance; 3.1557(2) Å), [Co(NH3)6][Au(CN)2]3 · 2H2O (Au?Au distance; 3.0939(4) Å), and [Ru(NH3)6][Ag(CN)2]3 · 2H2O (Ag?Ag distance; 3.1584(5) Å). Crystalline [(μ2-NH2)2Pt2(NH3)10][Au(CN)2]6 · 5.5{OS(CH3)2} · 0.5H2O also contains nearly linear trimers of the dicyanoaurate ion. Yellow crystals of K[Cr(NH3)6]2[Au(CN)2]7 · 4H2O contain a centrosymmetric, bent chain of seven dicyanoaurate ions with Au?Au separations of 3.1806(3), 3.2584(4), and 3.1294(4) Å.  相似文献

Three 1-D transition metal-nitronyl nitroxide radical complexes with dicyanoaurate(I) bridges, [M(NIT3py)2][Au(CN)2]2 [NIT3py = 2-(3′-pyridyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide, M = Mn, Co, Zn (1-3)], were synthesized and structurally characterized. Three compounds are all isostructural in monoclinic, C2/c space group with Z = 4. The [Au(CN)2] anions link [M(NIT3py)2] units via μ2-bridging mode, leading to a linear coordination chain. The M(II) ion adopts a distorted octahedral geometry with four N atoms from [Au(CN)2] groups and two pyridyl-N atoms from NIT3py ligands. The magnetic behavior shows that the couplings are both weak antiferromagnetic between Mn(II) and NIT3py and between Co(II) and NIT3py.  相似文献

The meagre (structurally defined) array of 1:2 silver(I) (pseudo-)halide:unidentate nitrogen base adducts is augmented by the single-crystal X-ray structural characterization of the 1:2 silver(I) thiocyanate:piperidine (‘pip’) adduct. It is of the one-dimensional ‘castellated polymer’ type previously recorded for the chloride: ?Ag(pip)2(μ-SCN)Ag(pip)2? a single bridging atom (S) linking successive silver atoms. By contrast, in its copper(I) counterpart, also a one-dimensional polymer, the thiocyanate bridges as end-bound SN-ambidentate: ?CuSCNCuSCN? A study of the 1:1 silver(I) bromide:quinoline (‘quin’) adduct is recorded, as the 0.25 quin solvate, isomorphous with its previous reported ‘saddle polymer’ chloride counterpart.Recrystallization of 1:1 silver(I) iodide:tris(2,4,6-trimethoxyphenyl)phosphine (‘tmpp’) mixtures from py and quinoline (‘quin’)/acetonitrile solutions has yielded crystalline materials which have also been characterized by X-ray studies. In both cases the products are salts, the cation in each being the linearly coordinated silver(I) species [Ag(tmpp)2]+, while the anions are, respectively, the discrete [Ag5I7(py)2]2− species, based on the already known but unsolvated [Cu5I7]2− discrete, and the polymeric, arrays, and polymeric . The detailed stereochemistry of the [Ag(tmpp)2]+ cation is a remarkably constant feature of all structures, as is its tendency to close-pack in sheets normal to their P-Ag-P axes. The far-IR spectra of the above species and of several related complexes have been recorded and assigned. The vibrational modes of the single stranded polymeric AgX chains in [XAg(pip)2](∞|∞) (X = Cl, SCN) are discussed, and the assignments ν(AgX) = 155, 190 cm−1 (X = Cl) and 208 cm−1 (X = SCN) are made. The ν(AgX) and ν(AgN) modes in the cubane tetramers [XAg(pip)]4 (X = Br, I) are assigned and discussed in relation to the assignments for the polymeric AgX:pip (1:2) complexes, and those for the polymeric [XAg(quin)](∞|∞) (X = Cl, Br) compounds. The far-IR spectra of [Ag(tmpp)2]2[Ag5I7(py)2] and its corresponding 2-methylpyridine complex show a single strong band at about 420 cm−1 which is assigned to the coordinated tmpp ligand in [Ag(tmpp)2]+, and a partially resolved triplet at about 90, 110 and 140 cm−1 which is assigned to the ν(AgI) modes of the [Ag5I7L2]2− anion. An analysis of this pattern is given using a model which has been used previously to account for unexpectedly simple ν(CuI) spectra for oligomeric iodocuprate(I) species.  相似文献

Crystallisation of simple cyanoruthenate complex anions [Ru(NN)(CN)4]2− (NN = 2,2′-bipyridine or 1,10-phenanthroline) in the presence of Lewis-acidic cations such as Ln(III) or guanidinium cations results, in addition to the expected [Ru(NN)(CN)4]2− salts, in the formation of small amounts of salts of the dinuclear species [Ru2(NN)2(CN)7]3−. These cyanide-bridged anions have arisen from the combination of two monomer units [Ru(NN)(CN)4]2− following the loss of one cyanide, presumably as HCN. The crystal structures of [Nd(H2O)5.5][Ru2(bipy)2(CN)7] · 11H2O and [Pr(H2O)6][Ru2(phen)2(CN)7] · 9H2O show that the cyanoruthenate anions form Ru-CN-Ln bridges to the Ln(III) cations, resulting in infinite coordination polymers consisting of fused Ru2Ln2(μ-CN)4 squares and Ru4Ln2(μ-CN)6 hexagons, which alternate to form a one-dimensional chain. In [CH6N3]3[Ru2(bipy)2(CN)7] · 2H2O in contrast the discrete complex anions are involved in an extensive network of hydrogen-bonding involving terminal cyanide ligands, water molecules, and guanidinium cations. In the [Ru2(NN)2(CN)7]3− anions themselves the two NN ligands are approximately eclipsed, lying on the same side of the central Ru-CN-Ru axis, such that their peripheries are in close contact. Consequently, when NN = 4,4′-tBu2-2,2′-bipyridine the steric bulk of the t-butyl groups prevents the formation of the dinuclear anions, and the only product is the simple salt of the monomer, [CH6N3]2[Ru(tBu2bipy)(CN)4] · 2H2O. We demonstrated by electrospray mass spectrometry that the dinuclear by-product [Ru2(phen)2(CN)7]3− could be formed in significant amounts during the synthesis of monomeric [Ru(phen)(CN)4]2− if the reaction time was too long or the medium too acidic. In the solid state the luminescence properties of [Ru2(bipy)2(CN)7]3− (as its guanidinium salt) are comparable to those of monomeric [Ru(bipy)(CN)4]2−, with a 3MLCT emission at 581 nm.  相似文献

The trimetallic complexes {Ru(PPh3)2Cp}2{μ-M(CN)4} and {Ru(dppe)Cp*}2{μ-M(CN)4} (M = Ni, Pd, Pt) have been prepared from reactions of RuCl(PPh3)2Cp or RuCl(dppe)Cp* with the appropriate tetracyanometallate salt, and structurally characterised. While a similar reaction of FeCl(dppe)Cp with K2[Pt(CN)4] afforded {Fe(dppe)Cp}2{μ-Pt(CN)4}, the iron cyanide complex Fe(CN)(dppe)Cp was isolated as the only iron containing product from reaction of FeCl(dppe)Cp with K2[Ni(CN)4]. The trimetallic complexes can be oxidised in two sequential one-electron steps. Spectroelectrochemical experiments reveal weak NIR absorption bands in the mono-oxidised complexes which are not present in the binuclear complex K[Ru(dppe)Cp*{Pt(CN)4}], and are therefore attributed to RuII → RuIII charge transfer processes. The coupling parameter, Vab, extracted using Hush-style analysis falls in the range 250 ± 50 cm−1, consistent with the weak interaction between the Group 8 metal centres. The energy of the IVCT process is dominated by reorganisation energy of the Group 8 metal-ligand fragment.  相似文献

The self assembly of [FeIII(L)]Cl2ClO4 (L = pentadentate macrocyclic ligand) with octacyano metallates [MIV(CN)8]4− (M = Mo, W) leads to bimetallic cyano-bridged 2-D coordination polymers of formula [{Fe(L)}3{M(CN)8}2]Cl·xH2O with M = Mo (2), or W (3). The structure of the tungsten analogue has been established by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The magnetic properties for both Mo and W derivative are reported.  相似文献

The formation constant, log β4 = 62.3 for [Pd(CN)4]2− is reported at 25 °C in 0.1 M NaClO4. This value of log β4 was determined using a competition reaction, monitored using UV-Vis spectroscopy and 1H NMR. The competition reaction used was with the tetraamine ligand 2,3,2-tet(1,4,8,11-tetraazaundecane), for which log K1 = 47.8 at 25 °C in 0.1 M NaClO4 was determined by competition with thiocyanate, as described by earlier workers (Q.Y. Yan, G. Anderegg, Inorg. Chim. Acta 105 (1985) 121.). Also reported is a value of log β4 for the [Pd(SCN)4]2− ion of 27.2 in 0.1 M NaClO4, determined by competition with 2,2,2-tet. Measurement of log K1 for cyclam with Pd(II) was attempted using a competition reaction with cyanide, combined with the very high value of log β4 for [Pd(CN)4]2− measured here. It appeared that the equilibrium being followed was actually [Pd(cyclam)]2+ + 2CN ? [Pd(cyclam)(CN)2], for which a constant of log K = 5.2 was obtained. 1H NMR and IR studies suggested that the complex [Pd(cyclam)(CN)2] was prone to oxidation to Pd(IV), followed by disproportionation to [Pd(cyclam)]2+ and, presumably, (CN)2. The very high value of log β4 for [Pd(CN)4]2− found here appears to be the highest formation constant known for any metal ion.  相似文献

Red or orange crystals of [Co(NH3)6]2Cl2[Fe(CN)6] · 4H2O (1), [Co(en)3]2Cl2[Fe(CN)6] · 2H2O (2) and [Co(en)3]4[Fe(CN)6]3 · 21.6H2O (3) were isolated from the aqueous systems Co3+-LN-[Fe(CN)6]4− (LN = NH3, en = 1,2-diaminoethane). In all isolated samples the combination of Mössbauer (δ values were from the range −0.07 to −0.08 mm/s) and IR spectra (ν(CN) stretching vibrations in the range 2015-2047 cm−1) confirms the presence of low spin Fe(II) in [Fe(CN)6]4− anions. X-ray structure analyses corroborate the ionic character of all studied compounds. These contain diamagnetic [Co(NH3)6]3+ (1) or [Co(en)3]3+ (2 and 3) complex cations and diamagnetic [Fe(CN)6]4− complex anions. In compounds 1 and 2 chloride anions are present, too. All three compounds contain water of crystallization, in compound 3 as many as 21.6 molecules per formula unit.  相似文献

Pt(II) complexes of the types K[Pt(R2SO)X3], NR4[Pt(R2SO)X3] and Pt(R2SO)2Cl2 (where X = Cl or Br) were characterized by multinuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (195Pt, 1H and 13C). In 195Pt NMR, the chloro ionic compounds have shown signals between −2979 and −3106 ppm, while the cis disubstituted complexes were observed at higher fields, between −3450 and −3546 ppm. The signal of the compound trans-Pt(DPrSO)2Cl2 was found at higher field (−3666 ppm) than its cis analogue (−3517 ppm), since π-back-donation is considerably less effective in the trans geometry. In 1H NMR, a single signal was observed for the sulfoxide in [Pt(DMSO)Cl3], but for the other more sterically hindered ligands, two series of resonances were observed for the protons in α and β positions. The coupling constant 3J(195Pt-1H) are between 15 and 33 Hz. The 13C NMR results were interpreted in relation to the concept of inversed polarization of the π sulfoxide bond. The 2J(195Pt-13C) values vary between 35 and 66 Hz, while a few 3J(195Pt-13C) couplings were observed (13-26 Hz). The crystal structures of five monosubstituted ionic compounds N(n-Bu)4[Pt(TMSO)Cl3], N(Me)4[Pt(DPrSO)Cl3], K[Pt(EMSO)Cl3], K[Pt(TMSO)Br3] · H2O and N(Et)4[Pt(DPrSO)Br3] and one disubstituted complex cis-Pt(DBuSO)2Cl2 were determined. The trans influence of the different ligands is discussed.  相似文献

Violet prismatic crystals of {[Cu(tn)2]3[Pt(CN)4]2}[Pt(CN)4] (tn = 1,3-diaminopropane) were crystallized from the water-methanol solution containing CuCl2·2H2O, tn and K2[Pt(CN)4]·3H2O. Prepared complex was characterized using elemental analysis, infrared and UV-Vis spectroscopy, magnetic measurement and thermal analysis. X-ray analysis revealed an ionic character of the complex containing mononuclear square planar [Pt(CN)4]2− complex anions and penta-nuclear [Cu(tn)2-Pt(CN)4-Cu(tn)2-Pt(CN)4-Cu(tn)2]2+ complex cations. The inner Cu(II) atom of the complex cation is hexa-coordinated, whereas two crystallographically equivalent peripheral Cu(II) atoms are penta-coordinated in the shape of a deformed square pyramid. Four v(CN) absorption bands observed in the IR spectrum are in agreement with the higher number of crystallographically different cyano groups and a broad highly asymmetric band observed in the reflectance UV-Vis spectrum is consistent with the presence of both hexa- and penta-coordinated Cu(II) atoms in the structure. The temperature dependence of the inverse susceptibility suggests the presence of a weak antiferromagnetic exchange coupling between Cu(II) ions. The complex is stable up to 210 °C when its two-stage thermal decomposition starts.  相似文献

The synthesis of a number of lanthanide tetracyanometallate (TCM) compounds have been carried out by reaction of Ln3+ nitrate salts and potassium tetracyanometallates in solvent systems containing dimethylsulfoxide and water. These reactions result in the isolation of three distinct structure types: (1) monoclinic [Ln(DMSO)4(H2O)3M(CN)4](M(CN)4)0.5·2H2O (Ln = Eu, Tb and M = Pd, Pt), (2) orthorhombic {La(DMSO)3(H2O)2(NO3)M(CN)4}·H2O (M = Pd, Pt), and (3) orthorhombic {Ln(DMSO)3(H2O)(NO3)M(CN)4} (Ln = Tb and M = Pd, Pt; Ln = Er, Yb and M = Pt) in the form of single crystals. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction has been used to investigate their structural features. Structure type 1 is a zero dimensional ionic compound with a M/Ln ratio of 1.5:1. It contains coordinated as well as uncoordinated [M(CN)4]2− (M = Pd, Pt) anions and features relatively long platinophilic interactions. Structure types 2 and 3 differ quite drastically from structure type 1, but they are very similar to each other. Both of the latter are one-dimensional in nature due to chains containing linkage of Ln3+ coordination spheres with trans-bridging [M(CN)4]2− anions. These coordination polymers both have a M/Ln ratio of 1:1, a lack of platinophilic interactions, and incorporation of a bidentate NO3 for charge balance. Photoluminescence properties for select Eu3+ and Tb3+ compounds have been investigated. They show characteristic absorption and emission for the Ln3+ ions, but no significant influence of the tetracyanometallate anions.  相似文献

The Pt(II) complexes of 2N1O-donor ligands containing a pendent indole, 3-[N-2-pyridylmethyl-N-2-hydroxy-3,5-di(tert-butyl)benzylamino]ethylindole (Htbu-iepp), and 1-methyl-3-[N-2-pyridylmethyl-N-2-hydroxy-3,5-di(tert-butyl)benzylamino]ethylindole (Htbu-miepp) (H denotes an ionizable hydrogen), were synthesized, and the structure of [Pt(tbu-iepp)Cl] (1) was determined by X-ray analysis. Complex 1 prepared in CH3CN was revealed to have the C2 atom of the indole ring bound to Pt(II) with the Pt(II)-C2 distance of 1.981(3) Å. On the other hand, [Pt(tbu-miepp)Cl] (2) was concluded to have a phenolate coordination instead of the C2 atom of the indole ring by 1H NMR spectra. Reaction of 1 with 1 equiv. of Ce(IV) in DMF gave the corresponding one-electron oxidized species, which exhibited an ESR signal at g = 2.004 and an absorption peak at 567 nm, indicating the formation of the Pt(II)-indole-π-cation radical species. The half-life, t1/2, of the radical species at −60 °C was calculated to be 43 s (kobs = 1.6 × 10−2 s−1).  相似文献

The ruthenium-iminoquinone complexes, [Ru(tpm)(Cl)(Q)]+ [tpm = tris(1-pyrazolyl)methane, Q = 3,5-di-tert-butyl-N-aryl-1,2-benzoquinonemonoimine, where aryl = C6H5, [1]+; m-(OCH3)2C6H3, [2]+; m-(Cl)2C6H3, [3]+] have been synthesized. The sensitive bond distances of “Q” in [1](ClO4) and [2](ClO4), C-O: 1.294(8), 1.281(2) Å; C-N: 1.352(8), 1.335(2) Å; and C-C(meta): 1.366(10)/1.367(9) Å, 1.364(2)/1.353(2) Å, respectively, and other analytical as well as theoretical (DFT) events suggest the valence configuration of [RuIII(tpm)(Cl)(QSq)]+ for [1]+-[3]+. The paramagnetic [1]+-[3]+ show sharp 1H NMR spectra with strikingly small J of 1.8-3.0 Hz. The DFT calculations on [1]+ predict that the triplet (S = 1) state exists above (1004 cm−1) the singlet (S = 0) ground state. [1]+ exhibits μ = 2.2 BM at 300 K which diminishes to 0.3 BM near 2 K due to the steady decrease in the ratio of triplet to singlet population with the lowering of temperature. [1]+-[3]+ exhibit one oxidation and two successive reductions each in CH3CN. Experimental and DFT analyses collectively establish the valence configurations at the non-innocent {Ru-Q} interface along the redox chain as [(tpm)(Cl)RuIII(QQo)]2+ ([1]2+-[3]2+) → [(tpm)(Cl)RuIII(QSq)]+ ([1]+-[3]+) → [(tpm)(Cl)RuII(QSq)] ↔ [(tpm)(Cl)RuIII(QCat)] (1-3) → [(tpm)(Cl)RuII(QCat)] ([1]-[3]). The spectral features of [1]n-[3]n (n = +2, +1, 0) have been addressed based on the TD-DFT calculations on [1]n.  相似文献

Three new complexes [Pt(dpop)(Cl)2], [(Cl)2Pt(dpop)Pt(Cl)2] and [(bpy)2Ru(dpop)Pt(Cl)2](PF6)2 (dpop = dipyrido(2,3-a:3′,2′-h)phenazine) were prepared and studied. The electronic absorption spectra of the complexes display Pt dπ → dpop π* and Ru dπ → dpop π* MLCT transitions at longer wavelengths than for previously reported similar complexes. Results of cyclic voltammograms show reversible dpop centered reductions while for the mixed metal [(bpy)2Ru(dpop)Pt(Cl)2]2+ an irreversible Pt(II) oxidative wave precedes the Ru(II) oxidation/reduction couple. Spectroelectrochemical results show that all oxidative and reductive processes are completely reversible. The [(Cl)2Pt(dpop)Pt(Cl)2] complex cleaves in solution with pseudo-first order kinetics resulting in loss of the Pt dπ → dpop π* MLCT transition at 545 nm.  相似文献

New silver(I) derivatives [Ag{HnB(btz)4 − n}(PR3)x] (n = 1 or 2, x ranging from 1 to 3), containing monodentate tertiary phosphines and anionic poly(benzotriazol-1-yl)borates, have been prepared from the reaction of AgNO3 with PR3 (R = Ph, o-tolyl, m-tolyl, p-tolyl, Bns) and K[H2B(btz)2], or K[HB(btz)3] (Hbtz = 1,2,3-benzotriazole). When the reaction between K[H2B(btz)2] and AgNO3 was carried out in the presence of dppe (1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane), or dppf (1,1′-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene), compounds [Ag{H2B(btz)2}]2(L) (L = dppe or dppf) formed, the diphosphine acting as a bidentate bridging P2-donor. Solid state and solution properties of all complexes have been investigated through analytical and spectroscopic measurements (IR, 1H, 31P NMR), the 1H and 31P NMR spectra being interpreted in terms of equilibria that involve mono- and di-nuclear complexes. Adducts [Ag{HB(btz)3}(PPh3)3] · (1/2H2O) and [Ag{H2B(btz)2}]2 (dppf) have been characterised by single crystal X-ray studies. In the former, the HB(btz)3 is unidentate in an NAgP3 coordination environment; the latter is a dimer, the dppf bridging the two silver atoms, while the H2B(btz)2 ligand, which chelates one silver, bridges to the second also, the array having 2-symmetry.  相似文献

The synthesis of a series of lanthanide tetracyanoplatinates containing the auxiliary ligands 1,10′-phenanthroline (phen) or 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) have been carried out by reaction of Ln3+ nitrate salts with phen or bpy and potassium tetracyanoplatinate in solvent systems containing dimethylsulfoxide and dimethylformamide. The use of these solvents has lead to the isolation of [{Ln(DMSO)2(C12H8N2)(H2O)3}2Pt(CN)4](Pt(CN)4)2·2C12H8N2·4H2O (Ln = Eu (Eu-1), Tb (Tb-1), Yb(Yb-1)), [Ln(DMF)3(C12H8N2)(H2O)2NO3]Pt(CN)4 (Ln = La (La-2), Eu (Eu-2), Tb (Tb-2)), and [Ln(DMF)3(C10H8N2)(H2O)2NO3]Pt(CN)4 (Ln = La (La-3), Sm (Sm-3), Eu (Eu-3), Tb (Tb-3)) in the form of single crystals. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction has been used to investigate their structural features. The use of DMSO versus DMF as the solvent results in markedly different structural features. Eu-1 contains [{Eu(DMSO)2(C12H8N2)(H2O)3}2Pt(CN)4]2+ complex cations where the two Eu3+ centers are linked by a trans-bridging Pt(CN)42− anion to form a dimeric lanthanide complex cation. An additional uncoordinated Pt(CN)42− anion balances charge. Eu-2 and Eu-3 consist of zero-dimensional salts with [Eu(DMF)3(C12H8N2)(H2O)2(NO3)]2+ or [Eu(DMF)3(C10H8N2)(H2O)2(NO3)]2+ complex cations, respectively, and only non-coordinated Pt(CN)42− anions. Photoluminescence measurements illustrate that the Eu3+ and Tb3+ compounds for all three structure types display enhanced emission due to intramolecular energy transfer from the coordinated cyclic amines.  相似文献

New diruthenium complexes (PPN)4[(NC)4Ru(μ-bptz)Ru(CN)4], (PPN)41, and [(bpy)2Ru(μ-bptz)Ru(CN)4], 2, (PPN+ = bis(triphenylphospine)iminium; bptz = 3,6-bis(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine; bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine), were synthesised and characterised by spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques. The comproportionation constant Kc = 107.0 of the mixed-valent species [(NC)4Ru(μ-bptz)Ru(CN)4]3− as obtained by oxidation of 14 in CH3CN is much lower than the Kc = 1015.0 previously detected for [(H3N)4Ru(bptz)Ru(NH3)4]5+, reflecting the competition between CN and bptz for the π-electron density of the metals. Comparison with several other bptz-bridged diruthenium(II,III) complexes reveals an approximate correlation between Kc and the diminishing effective π acceptor capacity of the ancillary terminal ligands. In addition to the intense MLCT absorption at λmax = 624 nm, the main IVCT (intervalence charge transfer) band of 13− was detected by spectroelectrochemistry at λmax = 1695 nm (in CH3CN; ε = 3200 M−1 cm−1). The experimental band width at half-height, Δν1/2 = 2700 cm−1, is slightly smaller than the theoretical value Δν1/2 = 3660 cm−1, calculated from the Hush approximation for Class II mixed-valent species. In agreement with comparatively moderate metal-metal coupling, the mixed-valent intermediate 13− was found to be EPR silent even at 4 K. The unsymmetrical mixed-valent complex [(bpy)2RuII(μ-bptz)RuIII(CN)4]+, obtained in situ by bromine oxidation of 2 in CH3CN/H2O, displays a broad NIR absorption originating from an IVCT transition at λmax = 1075 nm (ε ≈ 1000 M−1 cm−1, Δν1/2 ≈ 4000 cm−1). In addition, the lifetime of the excited-state of the mononuclear precursor complex [Ru(bptz)(CN)4]2− was measured in H2O by laser flash photolysis; the obtained value of τ = 19.6 ns reveals that bptz induces a metal-to-ligand electronic delocalisation effect intermediate between that induced by bpy and bpz (bpz = 2,2′-bipyrazine) in analogous tetracyanoruthenium complexes.  相似文献
