Phosphinoquinoxalines were prepared by treatment of 2,3-dichloroquinoxaline (3) with phosphorus nucleophiles. The Arbuzov reaction of 3 with PPh(O-i-Pr)2 gave a mixture of diastereomers of 2,3-(PPh(O)(O-i-Pr))2quinoxaline (6); the crystal structure of rac-6 was determined, but attempts at reduction to yield bis(phenylphosphino)quinoxaline 7 resulted in P-C cleavage and formation of phenylphosphine. The bis(secondary phosphine) 7 could be generated from 3 and LiPHPh(BH3), but was not isolated in pure form. Copper-catalyzed coupling of PHPh2 with 3 gave 2,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)quinoxaline (4, dppQx), whose coordination chemistry was investigated, with comparison to data for the analogous 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)benzene (dppBz) complexes. Reaction of dppQx with [Cu(NCMe)4][PF6] gave [Cu(dppQx)2][PF6] (8); CuCl yielded [Cu(dppQx)Cl]2 (9). Reaction of [Cu(NCMe)4][PF6] with one equiv of DPEphos, followed by one equiv of dppQx, gave [Cu(dppQx)(DPEphos)][PF6] (10). Ligand 4 and copper complexes 8 and 9 were crystallographically characterized. The UV-Vis spectra of dppQx and its copper complexes were red-shifted from those of the dppBz analogs; in contrast to results for the dppBz complexes, those of dppQx were not luminescent in solution.  相似文献

The reactions of a self-assembled silver(I) coordination polymer, [Ag2{μ-PriN(PPh2)2}(μ-NO3)2]n (1) with various bidentate N-donor ligands such as DABCO, 2,2′-bipyridyl and 1,10-phenanthroline yield 1-D helices or π-π stacked polymers, depending on the chelate vector of the N-donor ligand. The molecular structures of the resultant complexes, [Ag2{μ-PriN(PPh2)2}(DABCO)(NO3)2]n (2), [Ag2{μ-PriN(PPh2)2}(2,2′-bipy)2(NO3)2] (3) and [Ag2{μ-PriN(PPh2)2}(1,10-phen)2](NO3)2 (4) have been confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 2 exists as an infinite helical polymer because of the exo-bidentate nature of DABCO. Complex 3 assumes a 2D grid motif as a result of intermolecular π-π stacking among adjacent bipyridine moieties. The phenanthroline complex 4 exhibits strong inter- and intramolecular π-π stacking interactions.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural characterization of series of copper and silver homoleptic complexes [M(R-pyX)], M = Cu, Ag, X = S, Se; R = H, 3-CF3, 5-CF3 (not all combinations), is described. The copper compounds, as well as [Ag(pySe)] and [Ag(3-CF3-pySe)], were synthesised by electrochemical oxidation of anodic metal in a cell containing an acetonitrile solution of the corresponding proligand. The other homoleptic silver complexes were obtained by direct reaction between AgNO3 and the salt of the corresponding ligand in methanol. In addition, the reaction of the metal thiolate compounds with bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) in acetone allowed the synthesis of heteroleptic compounds [M2(R-pyX)2(dppe)3]. The compounds obtained have been characterized by microanalysis, IR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry and, in cases where the complexes were sufficiently soluble, by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The proligands (3-CF3pySe)2 (1), (5-CF3-pySe)2 (2) and (5-CF3-pySe-DMF) (3) and the complexes [Cu(3-CF3-pyS)] (4), [Ag(3-CF3-pyS)] (5) and [Cu2(5-CF3-pyS)2(dppe)3] (6) were obtained as crystalline products and were studied by X-ray diffraction methods.  相似文献

Three novel copper(II) complexes as condensation derivatives of 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde, 2-acetylpyridine or 2-quinolinecarboxaldehyde with ethyl hydrazinoacetate hydrochloride were synthesized. X-ray crystal structures of all three complexes were determined. Crystallographic data indicate a common basis of the structures with some major differences. Both pyridine derivatives form complexes of the type [CuCl2L] with distorted square-planar geometry around copper(II), but show a decisive difference in the side chain orientation. The quinoline derivative forms a dimeric complex of type [Cu2Cl4L2] with distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry around copper(II), but a rather short Cu···Cu contact, which is reflected in its magnetic properties. All three complexes showed antibacterial activity.  相似文献

Copper(II) and nickel(II) complexes of potentially N2O4 Schiff base ligands 2-({[2-(2-{2-[(1-{2-hydroxy-5-[2-phenyl-1-diazenyl]phenyl}methylidene)amino] phenoxy}ethoxy) phenyl]imino}methyl)4-[2-phenyl-1-diazenyl]phenol (H2L1) and 2-({[2-(4-{2-[(1-{2-hydroxy-5-[2-phenyl-1-diazenyl]phenyl}methylidene)amino] phenoxy}butoxy) phenyl]imino}methyl)4-[2-phenyl-1-diazenyl]phenol (H2L2) prepared of 5-phenylazo salicylaldehyde (1) and two various diamines 2-[2-(2-aminophenoxy)ethoxy]aniline (2) and 2-[4-(2-aminophenoxy)butoxy]aniline (3) were synthesized and characterized by a variety of physico-chemical techniques. The single-crystal X-ray diffractions are reported for CuL1 and NiL2. The CuL1 complex contains copper(II) in a near square-planar environment of N2O2 donors. The NiL2 complex contains nickel(II) in a distorted octahedral geometry coordination of N2O4 donors. In all complexes, H2L1 behaves as a tetradentate and H2L2 acts as a hexadentate ligand. Cyclic voltammetry of copper(II) complexes indicate a quasi-reversible redox wave in the negative potential range.  相似文献

Five copper(I) complexes having general formula [Cu2(μ-X)22-P,P-B-dppf)2] (X = Cl(1), Br(2), I(3), CN(4), and SCN(5)) were prepared starting with CuX and B-dppf in 1:1 molar ratio in DCM-MeOH (50:50 V/V) at room temperature. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, 1H NMR, 31P NMR and electronic spectral studies. Molecular structures for 1, 2 and 4 were determined crystallographically. Complexes 1, 2 and 4 exist as centrosymmetric dimers in which the two copper atoms are bonded to two bridging B-dppf ligands and two bridging (pseudo-)halide groups in a μ1 bonding mode to generate nearly planar Cu2(μ1-X)2 framework. Both bridging B-dppf ligands are arranged in antiperiplanar staggered conformation in 1 and 2 (mean value 56.40-56.76°), and twisted from the eclipsed conformation (mean value 78.19°) in 4. The Φ angle value in 4 is relatively larger as compared to 1 and 2. This seems to indicate that the molecular core [Cu2(μ1-X)2] in 4 is a sterically demanding system that forces the B-dppf ligand to adopt a relatively strained conformation in comparison to less strained system in 1 and 2. All the complexes exhibit moderately strong luminescence properties in the solution state at ambient temperature.  相似文献

The reaction of the tripod ligand hydrotris(2-mercapto-1-imidazolyl)borate Tmxylyl with zinc(II) perchlorate in methanol afforded the mononuclear complex of the type [Tmxylyl-Zn(mimxylyl)]ClO4 (1). Whereas under the same conditions, the reaction with copper(II) perchlorate gives rise to the simultaneous formation of the dinuclear copper(I) complex [TmxylylCu]2 (2). The chemical formulae of the complexes have been characterized by elemental chemical analysis, IR-NMR spectroscopies, and single crystal X-ray methods. In complex 1, the zinc(II) atom displays a distorted tetrahedral environment. While in complex 2, the Tmxylyl ligand bridges the two copper(I) atoms in an asymmetric manner with trigonal geometry. The inverted conformation of the ligand Tmxylyl at the boron center, allows the B-H units to be directed towards the copper centers. The greater reactivity of the borohydride groups towards metal centers enhances the reduction of Cu(II) to Cu(I). The obtained kinetic results for the methylation reactions of 1 and 2 indicate that these bound thione complexes are less suitable to electrophilic attack than the thiolate ligand.  相似文献

The reaction of [Cu(CH3CN)4]BF4, 6-(4-methoxyl)phenyl-2,2′-bipyridine (designated as MeO-CNN), and/or tricyclohexylphosphine (PCy3) and diimine ligands derived from 4,4′-bipyridine gave four mono- and binuclear copper(I) complexes, [Cu(MeO-CNN)2]BF4 (1), [Cu2(MeO-CNN)2(PCy3)2(4,4′-bipy)](BF4)2 · 1.5CH2Cl2 (2) (bipy = bipyridine), [Cu2(MeO-CNN)2(PCy3)2(bpete)](BF4)2 · 4CH2Cl2 (3) (bpete = trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethene) and [Cu2(MeO-CNN)2(PCy3)2(4,4′-azpy)] (BF4)2 · 1.5CH2Cl2 (4) (azpy = azobispyridine). Crystallographic studies of complexes 1-4 show that each copper(I) center adopts a pseudo-tetrahedral coordination geometry. Complexes 2-4 consists of -Cu(MeO-CNN)(PCy3) units which are linked through 4,4′-bipy, bpete and 4,4′-azpy, respectively. The UV-Vis spectra of these four complexes all exhibit intense high-energy absorptions at λmax < 340 nm and broad visible bands in a range of 430-550 nm, ascribed to intraligand (IL π → π) transitions and metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) transitions, respectively. The density functional theory calculation was used to interpret the absorption spectrum of 1, which further supports the assignment of MLCT character. The binuclear complexes 2 and 3 both display red solid-state emissions centred at 620 and 660 nm from metal-to-ligand charge-transfer excited state, respectively. Interestingly, the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectral measurements confirm copper(I) complexes oxidized to corresponding copper(II)-halide product upon excitation at 355 nm in dichloromethane solution.  相似文献

A series of iminopyridine ligands; cyclopropylpyridin-2-ylmethyleneamine (A), cyclopentylpyridin-2-ylmethyleneamine (B), cyclohexylpyridin-2-ylmethyleneamine (C), and cycloheptylpyridin-2-ylmethyleneamine, (D) and their copper(I) complexes, [Cu(L)2]+ (1a-1d) and [Cu(L)(PPh3)2]+ (2a-2d) have been synthesized and characterized by CHN analyses, 1H NMR and IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Structures of 1a, 1b, 1c and 2a were determined by X-ray crystallography. The coordination polyhedron about the CuI center in the complexes is best described as a distorted tetrahedron. The dihedral angles between the least-squares planes of the chelate ligands show considerable variation from 86.1° in 1a to 68.3° in 1b, indicating the importance of packing forces in the crystalline environment. The UV-Vis spectra of the complexes are characterized by first metal to ligand charge transfer bands increasing in wavelength with increasing size of the ring substituents in the ligands, except for the cyclopropyl compounds (1a and 2a), in good agreement with the variation of the dihedral angles between the ligand planes. Cyclic voltammetry of the complexes indicates a quasireversible redox behavior for the complexes. The bulkier ligands (PPh3) inhibit the geometric distortion within the oxidized form and the redox potentials of complexes 2a-2d are shifted to more positive values, therefore.  相似文献

A new series of square planar palladium(II) complexes with pincer ligands, pip2NCN (pip2NCNH = 1,3-bis(piperidylmethyl)benzene) and pip2NNN (2,6-bis(piperidylmethyl)pyridine), has been prepared: Pd(pip2NCN)X (X = Cl, Br, I), [Pd(pip2NCN)(L)](BF4) (L = pyridine, 4-phenylpyridine), and [Pd(pip2NNN)Cl]Cl. The X-ray crystal structures of Pd(pip2NCN)Br, [Pd(pip2NCN)(L)]BF4, and [Pd(pip2NNN)Cl]Cl confirm the tridentate coordination geometries of the pincer ligands. For the pip2NCN complexes, each piperidyl ring adopts a chair conformation with the metal center at an equatorial position on the N(piperidyl) atom. However, one of the piperidyl groups of Pd(pip2NNN)Cl+ adopts a previously unobserved coordination geometry, effectively placing the metal center at an axial position on the N(piperidyl) atom. 1H NMR and UV-Vis absorption measurements provide additional insight into the electronic structures of these complexes. The 1H NMR spectra of Pd(pip2NCN)X (X = Cl, Br, I) are consistent with deshielding of the pip2NCN ligand resonances along the Cl < Br < I series, in opposition to the relative halogen electronegativities. It is suggested that this trend is consistent with decreasing filled/filled repulsions between the dπ orbitals of the metal center and the lone pair orbitals of the halide ligands along this series. Electronic absorption spectra support the notion that ligand-to-metal charge-transfer states are stabilized in these palladium(II) complexes relative to their platinum(II) analogues.  相似文献

Mixed-ligand complexes of the formula [Ag(PPh3)(L)Br]2 were obtained by treatment of various heterocyclic thiones L {L=pyridine-2-thione (py2SH), pyrimidine-2-thione (pymtH), benz-1,3-imidazoline-2-thione (bzimtH2), benz-1,3-thiazoline-2-thione (bztztH), 1-methyl-1,3-imidazoline-2-thione (meimtH) and 5-methoxy-benz-1,3-imidazoline-2-thione (5MeObzimtH2)} with equivalent quantities of silver(I) bromide and triphenylphosphine in dry acetone. The compounds were characterized by their IR, far-IR, UV–Vis and 1H NMR spectroscopic data. The crystal structure of [Ag(PPh3)(pymtH)Br]2 was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The complex exhibits a planar Ag2Br2 moiety in which each of the doubly bromine-bridged Ag(I) centres is further bonded to one phosphine P and one thione S atom.  相似文献

In this paper, a series of 4,5-diazafluoren-9-one-derived (Dafo-derived) diimine ligands and their corresponding Cu(I) complexes with bis(2-(diphenylphosphanyl)phenyl) ether as the auxiliary ligand are synthesized. Relationships between diimine ligands and photophysical properties of their corresponding Cu(I) complexes are discussed in detail. It is found that the introduction of an electron-donor moiety into one diimine ligand leads to a dramatic red shift of the absorption of corresponding Cu(I) complex, while, an electron-acceptor moiety demonstrates no obvious effect on Cu(I) complex absorption when introduced into diimine ligand. In addition, it is found that the intraligand charge transfer of Dafo-derived ligands acts as an efficient luminescence quencher within their corresponding Cu(I) complexes, leading to luminescence absence from metal-to-ligand-charge-transfer (MLCT) excited state.  相似文献

1:1 adducts of N,N′-bis(benzophenone)-1,2-diiminoethane (bz2en) with copper(I) chloride, bromide and iodide, [Cu(bz2en)2][CuX2] (X = Cl, Br, and I), have been synthesized and the structures of the solid bromide and iodide adducts were determined by X-ray crystallography from single-crystal data. The solid-state structure reveals ionic complexes containing a cation of copper(I) ion coordinated to four nitrogen atoms of two bz2en molecules (distorted tetrahedron) and a linear dibromocuprate(I) and a di-μ-iodo-diiododicuprate(I) anion for the bromo and iodo adducts, respectively. The bromo adduct structure contains CH?Br intermolecular hydrogen bonds. The complexes are very stable towards atmospheric oxygen in the solid state. The spectral properties of the above complexes are also discussed.  相似文献

Two new copper(II) complexes of the type [Cu(L)X2), where L = (E)-N-phenyl-2-[phenyl (pyridine-2-yl)methylene]hydrazinecarboxamide X = Cl/Br have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, FAB (fast atomic bombardment) magnetic measurements, electronic absorption, conductivity measurements cyclic voltammetry (CV) and Electron paramagnetic resonance (epr) spectroscopy. The structures of these complexes determined by single crystal X-ray crystallography show a distorted square based pyramidal (DSBP) geometry around copper(II) metal center. The distorted CuN2OX (X = Cl/Br) basal plane in them is comprised of two nitrogen and one oxygen atoms of the meridionally coordinated ligand and a chloride or bromide ion and axial position is occupied by other halide ion. The epr spectra of these complexes in frozen solutions of DMSO showed a signal at g ca. 2. The trend in g-value (g|| > g > 2.00) suggest that the unpaired electron on copper(II) has dx2-y2 character. Biological activities in terms of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and antimicrobial properties of copper(II) complexes have also been measured. The superoxide dismutase activity reveals that these two complexes catalyze the fast disproportionation of superoxide in DMSO solution.  相似文献

Some copper(I) complexes of the type [Cu(L)(dppe)]X (1-4) [where L = (3-trifluoromethylphenyl)pyridine-2-ylmethylene-amine; dppe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane; X = Cl, CN, ClO4 and BF4] have been synthesized by the condensation of 3-aminobenzotrifluoride with 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde followed by the reaction with CuCl, CuCN, [Cu(MeCN)4]ClO4 and [Cu(MeCN)4]BF4 in presence of dppe. The complexes 1-4 were then characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis and 1H NMR spectral studies. The representative complex of the series 4 has been characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction which reveal that in complex the central copper(I) ion assumes the irregular pseudo-tetrahedral geometry. The catalytic activity of the complexes was tested and it was found that all the complexes worked as effective catalyst in the amination of aryl halide.  相似文献

Six new adducts of the form AgX:PPh3:H2C(pzx)2 (1:1:1) (H2C(pzx)2 = H2C(pz)2 = bis(pyrazolyl)methane or H2C(pzMe2)2 = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)methane; X = ClO4, NO3, SO3CF3) have been synthesized and characterized by analytical, spectroscopic (IR, far-IR, 1H and 31P NMR) and two of them also by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies for comparison with counterpart adducts with 2,2′-bipyridyl (‘bpy’) derivatives reported in a previous paper, the bpy-derived ligands forming five-membered chelate rings, while the present H2C(pzx)2 should, potentially, form six-membered rings. Such is the case, the two adducts exhibiting quasi-planar N2AgP coordination environments, perturbed by the approach of the oxyanion, unidentate in the case of the perchlorate but, in the case of the nitrate, an interesting disordered aggregate of differing unidentate modes.  相似文献

The reactions of 4-(p-dimethylaminophenyl)-6-phenyl-2,2′-bipyridine (HL) with three metal salts of platinum(II), copper(I) and zinc(II) provide the new complexes [Pt(L)(PPh3)]ClO4 (1), [Cu(HL)2]BF4 (2), [Cu(HL)(PPh3)]BF4 (3) and [Zn(HL)2](ClO4)2 (4). All the structures of these four complexes have been characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, and their spectroscopic properties were investigated. Especially for complex 1, upon protonation, the excited state can be tuned from the intraligand charge transfer (ILCT) to the metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT), and such switching in the excited state is acid/base reversible. The time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) calculation was used to interpret the absorption spectra of complex 1, and the calculated result is consistent with those of experiments results. In contrast with 1, the lowest energy absorption at 410-650 nm of complexes 2 and 3 can be assigned to MLCT excited state. In solid state or solution complex 4 exhibits intense photoluminescence attributed to a ILCT transition in nature.  相似文献

The title compounds, for short Ag6(tsac)6 (1) and [Cu4(tsac)4(MeCN)2] · 2MeCN (2), were prepared by the reaction of thiosaccharin with Ag(I) or Cu(II) salts in different solvents. The new complexes were characterized by FT-IR, Raman, UV-Vis and NMR spectroscopy. Their crystal and molecular structures were determined by X-ray diffraction methods. The structures were solved from 1621 (1) and 7080 (2) reflections with I > 2σ(I) and refined to agreement R1-factors of 0.0261 (1) and 0.0456 (2). Ag6(tsac)6 molecule derives from the clustering of six Ag(tsac) moieties related to each other through the crystallographic 3-bar (S6) symmetry operations of the space group. This results in a highly regular molecular structure where the silver atoms are at the corners of an octahedral core slightly compressed along one of its three-fold axis [inter-metallic Ag?Ag contacts of 3.1723(4) and 3.1556(4) Å]. The six thiosaccharinate ligands bridge neighboring Ag atoms along the C3-axis through Ag-N bonds [d(Ag-N) = 2.285(2) Å] at one end and bifurcated Ag-S(thione)-Ag bonds [Ag-S distances of 2.4861(7) and 2.5014(8) Å] at the other end. In contrast, the 2 compound is arranged in the lattice as an irregular tetrameric copper complex [Cu4(tsac)4(MeCN)2] where the metals show different environments. Two copper ions are four-fold coordinated to three tsac ions through the N-atom of one tsac [Cu-N distances of 2.112(3) and 2.064(3) Å] and the thione sulfur atom of the other two [Cu-S distances in the range from 2.284(1) to 2.358(1) Å] and to a MeCN solvent molecule [Cu-N distances of 1.983(4) and 2.052(3) Å]. The other two copper ions are in three-fold environment, one trans-coordinated to two tsac ions [Cu-N distances of 1.912(3) and 1.920(3) Å] and to the thione S-atom of a third ligand [d(Cu-S) = 2.531(1) Å], the other one to the thione sulfur atom of three tsac ligands [Cu-S distances in the range from 2.229(1) to 2.334(1) Å]. The clustering renders the metals to short distances from each other, the shorter Cu?Cu distance being 2.6033(7) Å, as to presume the existence of weak inter-metallic interaction within the cluster.  相似文献

The reaction of Pt(COD)Cl2, where COD is 1,5-cyclooctadiene, with one equivalent of a diamidato-bis(phosphino) Trost ligand ((R,R)-2 = N,N′-bis(2-diphenylphosphino-1-benzoyl)-(1R,2R)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane, (R,R)-N,N′-bis(2-diphenylphosphino-1-naphthoyl)-(1R,2R)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane, or (±)-N,N′-bis(2-diphenylphosphino-1-benzoyl)-1,2-bis(aminobenzene)) in the presence of base afforded square planar diamidato-bis(phosphino) platinum(II) complexes (R,R)-2-Pt, (R,R)-3-Pt, (±)-4-Pt. Characterization of all complexes included the solution and solid state structure determination of each complex based on multinuclear NMR and X-ray analyses, respectively. Stability of the complexes in acid was examined on addition of HCl to (R,R)-2-Pt in chloroform and compared to the unreactive nature of the similar diamidato-bis(phosphino) complex 1-Pt (= 1,2-bis-N-[2′-(diphenylphosphino)benzoyl]diamino-benzene) in the presence of acid. Protonation of the bound amidato nitrogen atoms of (R,R)-2-Pt was observed along with decoordination of the nitrogen atoms from the platinum(II) center producing (R,R)-2-PtCl2 in quantitative yield by NMR analysis. Confirmation of the product was made on comparison of the NMR spectra to that of authentic (R,R)-2-PtCl2 prepared on reaction of Pt(COD)Cl2 with (R,R)-2 in CH2Cl2 and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and NMR spectroscopy. Results add to the knowledge of rich coordination chemistry of bis(phosphino) ligands with late transition metals, metal-amidato chemistry, and has implications in catalysis.  相似文献

The X-ray crystal structures of four complexes, obtained by reaction of silver nitrate with four different heteroaryl thioethers, are described. In these compounds the ligands act as dinuclear bridges between silver atoms, with coordination exclusively through the nitrogen donor atoms. All ligands form dinuclear complexes, either as discrete species or as higher aggregates involving additional nitrate bridges. π–π Stacking interactions provide extra stabilisation in some of the structures.  相似文献
