New solid complex compounds of La(III), Ce(III), Pr(III), Nd(III), Sm(III), Eu(III) and Gd(III) ions with morin were synthesized. The molecular formula of the complexes is Ln(C15H9O7)3 · nH2O, where Ln is the cation of lanthanide and n = 6 for La(III), Sm(III), Gd(III) or n = 8 for Ce(III), Pr(III), Nd(III) and Eu(III). Thermogravimetric studies and the values of dehydration enthalpy indicate that water occurring in the compounds is not present in the inner coordination sphere of the complex. The structure of the complexes was determined on the basis of UV-visible, IR, MS, 1H NMR and 13C NMR analyses. It was found that in binding the lanthanide ions the following groups of morin take part: 3OH and 4CO in the case of complexes of La, Pr, Nd, Sm and Eu, or 5OH and 4CO in the case of complexes of Ce and Gd. The complexes are five- and six-membered chelate compounds.  相似文献

Lanthanide complexes are of great importance for their prospective applications in wide range of science and technology. Chiral lanthanide complexes can constitute stereo-discriminating probes in biological media, owing to the luminescent properties of the rare-earth ions. Sensitized emission with narrow bandwidth, having fast radiation rate and high emission quantum efficiency are the main perspective for synthesizing the complexes. Attention has been given on remarkable chirality with high dissymmetry factors (g = Δεext/εmax) of the complexes. For this purpose, beta-diketonato ligands with chiral BINAPO (1,1′-binapthyl phosphine oxide) ligand were chosen to achieve the goal. The complexes [Ln(TFN)3(S-BINAPO)](TFN = 4,4,4-trifluoro-1(2-napthyl)-1,3-butanedione), [Ln(HFT)3(S-BINAPO)] (HFT = 4,4,5,5,6,6,6-heptafluoro-1-(2-thienyl)-1,3-hexanedione) and [Ln(HFA)3(S-BINAPO)](hfa = hexafluoroacetylacetonate) (where Ln = Yb, Eu) were synthesized. The complex, [Eu(TFN)3(S-BINAPO)] gives strong red emission at 615 nm with narrow emission band (<10 nm) when excited by 465 nm light with quantum efficiency 86%. The dissymmetry factors (g = Δεext/εmax) corresponding to the 7F1 → 5D0 transition at 590 nm is 0.091 for [Eu(TFN)3(S-BINAPO)] and for [Yb(hfa)3(S-BINAPO)](hfa = hexafluoroacetylacetonate) corresponding to the 2F7/2 → 2F5/2 transitions is 0.12, are among the largest values for both Eu and Yb complexes to date, respectively. The Eu complexes, [Eu(HFT)3(S-BINAPO)] and [Eu(TFN)3(S-BINAPO)] are found to be spontaneously emissive, showing bright red emission, when placed in sunlight or even in the laboratory when light is switched on.  相似文献

The thiolate complexes of rare earth metals Ln(SR)3 (La, HSR = 2-mercaptothiazoline (1); La, HSR = 2-mercaptobenzoxazole (2); Y, La, Sm, Eu, Tb, Gd, Er, Tm, HSR = 2-mercaptobenzothiazole (3)) were synthesized in 84-97% yield by the reactions of silylamides Ln[N(SiMe3)2]3 with respective thiols. The products were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The structures of 3(Eu) and 3(Er) were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. All obtained compounds revealed efficient luminescence in the region 400-550 nm at 293 K assigned to the ligands emission. Besides, the luminescent spectra of thiolates 3 at 77 K displayed the phosphorescent band of the ligand at 550 nm and in the cases of 3(Eu) and 3(Tb) the sets of emissions bands characteristic for Eu3+ and Tb3+ ions.  相似文献

Luminescence excitation spectroscopy of the 7F05D0 transition of the Eu(III) complex of 1,4,7,10-tetrakis(carbamoylmethyl)-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane (TCMC, an amide derivative of DOTA) is used to measure the stability constant of the complex (K). A log K value of 10.6 is obtained for [Eu(TCMC)]3+ at 25 °C and an ionic strength of 0.1 M. Competition experiments with eleven other members of the lanthanide(III) series give stability constants for their complexes with TCMC. An unusual variation in stability is observed for complexes of [Ln(TCMC)]3+ across the lanthanide series with a pronounced optimum for the Sm(III) complex. This variation is quite different from that observed for other Ln(III) macrocyclic complexes, suggesting that the TCMC ligand is uniquely sensitive to Ln(III) ion radius.  相似文献

The reactions of pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide with europium(III) and terbium(III) triflates led to the formation of mononuclear complexes of formula [Ln(pcam)3](CF3SO3)3 (Ln = Eu 1, Tb 2; pcam stands for pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide). From single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, the complexes were found to be isomorphous and isostructural. The [Ln(pcam)3]3+ cations and triflate counterions are connected by intermolecular hydrogen bonds, resulting in a 3D network structure. Both the europium(III) and terbium(III) complexes exhibit efficient ligand sensitized luminescence in the visible region with lifetimes of 1.9 ms and 2.2 ms, respectively, in the solid state.  相似文献

A pyridine‐diacylhydrazone Schiff base ligand, L = 2,6‐bis[(3‐methoxy benzylidene)hydrazinocarbonyl]pyridine was prepared and characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. Lanthanide complexes, Ln–L, {[LnL(NO3)2]NO3.xH2O (Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy and Er)} were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, thermal analysis (TGA/DTGA), mass spectrometry (MS), Fourier transform infra‐red (FT‐IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Ln–L complexes are isostructural with four binding sites provided by two nitro groups along with four coordination sites for L. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations on L and its cationic [LnL(NO3)2]+ complexes were carried out at the B3LYP/6–31G(d) level of theory. The FT‐IR vibrational wavenumbers were computed and compared with the experimentally values. The luminescence investigations of L and Ln–L indicated that Tb–L and Eu–L complexes showed the characteristic luminescence of Tb(III) and Eu(III) ions. Ln–L complexes show higher antioxidant activity than the parent L ligand.  相似文献

A series of pyrazolone lanthanide complexes: Ln(PMPP)3 · 2H2O · C2H5OH (Ln = Nd (1), Sm (2), Gd (3), Dy (4); PMPP = 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-propionyl-5-pyrazolone) have been synthesized by the hydrothermal method with the starting ligand PMPP-SAH (1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-(salicylidene hydrazone)-propionyl-5-pyrazolone) changed into PMPP during the formation process of complexes. All the complexes were structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The fluorescence of these four complexes 1-4 in solid state and DMF solution was investigated via F-4500 spectrophotometer and all of them indicate a fluorescent behavior at room temperature.  相似文献

New homoleptic diphosphanylamido compounds of the lanthanides, [Ln{N(PPh2)2}3] (Ln = Sm, Gd, Dy), were synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction in the solid state and partly by NMR in solution. In the solid state the complexes solely show a η2-coordination of the {(Ph2P)2N} ligand. The dependence of the Ln-N and the Ln-P bond distance on the ion radius of the center metal was investigated.  相似文献

The preparation of a series of 1,2-phenylenedioxoborylcyclopentadienyl-metal complexes is described. These are of formula [M{η5-C5H4(BX)}Cl3] [M = Ti and X = CAT (2a), CATt (2b) or CATtt (2c); X = CATtt and M = Zr (4a) or Hf (4b)], [M{η5-C5H4(BX)}2Cl2] [M = Zr, X = CAT (3a) or CATt (3c); or M = Hf, X = CAT (3b) or CATt (3d)], [M{(μ-η5-C5H3BCAT)2 SiMe2}Cl2] [M = Zr (5a) or Hf (5b)], [M{η5-C5H3(BCAT)2}Cl3] [M = Zr (6a) or Hf (6b)], [M{η5-C5H4BCAT}3(THF)] [M = La (7a), Ce (7b) or Yb (7c)], [Sn{η5-C5 H4(BCATt)}Cl](8) and [Fe{η5-C5H4(BCATt)}2] (9). The abbreviations refer to BO2C6H4-1,2 (BCAT) and the 4-But (BCATt) and the (BCATtt) analogues. The compounds 2a-9 have been characterised by microanalysis, multinuclear NMR and mass spectra. The single crystal X-ray structure of the lanthanum compound 7a is presented.  相似文献

Three novel europium complexes, Eu(CCHPD)3Phen = Tris[1-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)-3-[(6-(9H- carbazol-9-yl)hexoxy)-phenyl]-1,3-dione](1,10-phenanthroline) europium(III), Eu(CCHPD)3Bath = Tris[1-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)-3-[(6-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)hexoxy)-phenyl]-1,3-dione](bathophenanthroline) europium(III) and Eu(CPD)3Phen = Tris[1-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)-3-phenylpropane]-1,3-dione](1,10-phenanthroline) europium(III), have been synthesized and characterized (Scheme 1). Involved ligands consist of different chelating and non-chelating units: appended carbazole (Br-Carb), phenanthroline (Phen), bathophenanthroline (Bath) and 1-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)-3-phenylpropane]-1,3-dione (CPD). The luminescence properties show that the carbazole moiety is a better sensitizer for the metal centred (MC) emitting states relative to Phen and Bath. Moreover, its charge-transporting properties make such complexes appealing for their application in electroluminescent devices.  相似文献

Three lanthanide complexes of 4-acyl pyrazolone derivatives: Ln(PMPP-SHZ)2(CH3OH)2 (Ln = Sm (1), Eu (2), Gd (3); PMPP-SHZ = N-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-propionyl-5-pyrazolone)-salicylidene hydrazide) have been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. And all of them were carefully investigated by elemental analysis, thermal analysis and spectral characterization. The fluorescence of these three complexes 1-3 in solid state was investigated at room temperature. All complexes emit a blue emission band, and there are three characteristic emission peaks of Sm3+ evidently and one characteristic emission peak of Eu3+.  相似文献

Potentiometric titrations of N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)glycine (bicine) in the presence of Ln(III) cations (Ln=La, Pr, Nd and Eu) in the pH range extended to ca. 9.5 reveal formation of two types of binuclear hydroxo complexes Ln2(bic)2(OH)4 and Ln2(bic)(OH)4 + (bicH=bicine) in addition to previously reported mononuclear mono- and bis-complexes Ln(bic)2+ and Ln(bic)2 +, which predominate at pH below 8. 1H NMR titrations of La(III)-bicine mixtures in D2O show that the complex formation with bicine is slow in the NMR time scale and confirm formation of hydroxide rather than alkoxide complexes in basic solutions. Formation of a different type of hydroxide species under conditions of an excess of metal over ligand is confirmed by studying the absorption spectra of the Nd(III)-bicine system in the hypersensitive region. The binuclear hydroxide complexes are predominant species at pH above 9 and their stabilities increase in the order La < Pr ≈ Nd < Eu. They show fairly high catalytic activity in the hydrolysis of bis(4-nitrophenyl) phosphate (BNPP) at room temperature. Comparison of concentration and pH-dependences of the reaction rates with the species distribution diagrams shows that the catalytic hydrolysis of BNPP proceeds via a Michaelis-Menten type mechanism, which involves the Ln2(bic)(OH)4 + complex as the reactive species. The values of the catalytic rate constants and the Michaelis constants are in the range 0.002-0.004 s−1 and 0.35-1.5 mM, respectively, for all lanthanides studied. The half-life for the hydrolysis of BNPP is reduced from 2000 years to ca. 10 min at 25 °C and pH 9.2 in the presence of 5 mM La(III) and 2.5 mM bicine.  相似文献

The solution structures of the lanthanide complexes, [Ln(L)(NO3)3] and [Ln(L)2(NO3)3], where L = bis(diphenylphosphorylmethyl)mesitylene and Ln = La, Ce, Nd, Er, were investigated by 31P NMR and IR spectroscopy, conductivity and sedimentation analysis. Variable-temperature 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy was used to identify species present in solution and to monitor their interconversions. The results indicate that equilibrium between molecular complexes [Ln(L)n(NO3)3]0 and cationic species (as ion pairs [Ln(L)n(NO3)2]+ · (NO3) and as free ions [Ln(L)n(NO3)2]+, throughout n = 1, 2) in solutions can be observed by 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy due to separate detection of the molecular complexes and cationic species. The chelate coordination of the ligand and nitrate ions is retained in all complex species at ambient temperature except for [Er(L)2(NO3)3]. The crystal structure of [Nd(L)(NO3)3(MeCN)]MeCN was determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Mixed ligand complexes: [Co(L)(bipy)] · 3H2O (1), [Ni(L)(phen)] · H2O (2), [Cu(L)(phen)] · 3H2O (3) and [Zn(L)(bipy)] · 3H2O (4), where L2− = two -COOH deprotonated dianion of N-(2-benzimidazolyl)methyliminodiacetic acid (H2bzimida, hereafter, H2L), bipy = 2,2′ bipyridine and phen = 1,10-phenanthroline have been isolated and characterized by elemental analysis, spectral and magnetic measurements and thermal studies. Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies show octahedral geometry for 1, 2 and 4 and square pyramidal geometry for 3. Equilibrium studies in aqueous solution (ionic strength I = 10−1 mol dm−3 (NaNO3), at 25 ± 1 °C) using different molar proportions of M(II):H2L:B, where M = Co, Ni, Cu and Zn and B = phen, bipy and en (ethylene diamine), however, provides evidence of formation of mononuclear and binuclear binary and mixed ligand complexes: M(L), M(H−1L), M(B)2+, M(L)(B), M(H−1L)(B), M2(H−1L)(OH), (B)M(H−1L)M(B)+, where H−1L3− represents two -COOH and the benzimidazole N1-H deprotonated quadridentate (O, N, O, N), or, quinquedentate (O, N, O, N, N) function of the coordinated ligand H2L. Binuclear mixed ligand complex formation equilibria: M(L)(B) + M(B)2+ ? (B)M(H−1L)M(B)+ + H+ is favoured with higher π-acidity of the B ligands. For Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II), these equilibria are accompanied by blue shift of the electronic absorption maxima of M(II) ions, as a negatively charged bridging benzimidazolate moiety provides stronger ligand field than a neutral one. Solution stability of the mixed ligand complexes are in the expected order: Co(II) < Ni(II) < Cu(II) > Zn(II). The Δ log KM values are less negetive than their statistical values, indicating favoured formation of the mixed ligand complexes over the binary ones.  相似文献

The complexes of 2-[2-(diphenylphosphoryl)prop-2-yl]-1,8-naphthyridine (L) with lanthanide nitrates Ln(NO3)3 (Ln = Nd, Eu, Lu) were investigated to elucidate the coordination ability of a novel type of potentially tridentate ligands - phosphorylalkyl substituted naphthyridines. The X-ray crystal structures of [NdL3]3+ · 3(NO3) · MeCN (1), [EuL3]3+ · 3(NO3) · [Eu(NO3)3 · 4H2O] · MeCN (2), and [LuL3]3+ · 3(NO3) · [Lu(NO3)3 · 3H2O] · 2 MeCN · 0.5 H2O (3) are reported together with their IR and Raman spectra. All the compounds studied contain isostructural [LnL3]3+ cations and three NO3 counterions. Coordination of each L appears to be O,N,N tridentate-cyclic and coordination number of Ln is nine. Vibrational spectra of 1-3 are also compared with that of free ligand and model compounds.  相似文献

Luminescent lanthanide (III) ions have been exploited for circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) for decades. However, very few of these studies have involved chiral samarium (III) complexes. Complexes are prepared by mixing axial chiral ligands (R/S))‐2,2’‐bis(diphenylphosphoryl)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl (BINAPO) with europium and samarium Tris (trifluoromethane sulfonate) (Eu (OTf)3 and Sm (OTf)3). Luminescence‐based titration shows that the complex formed is Ln((R/S)‐BINAPO)2(OTf)3, where Ln = Eu or Sm. The CPL spectra are reported for Eu((R/S)‐BINAPO)2(OTf)3 and Sm((R/S)‐BINAPO)2(OTf)3. The sign of the dissymmetry factors, gem, was dependent upon the chirality of the BINAPO ligand, and the magnitudes were relatively large. Of all of the complexes in this study, Sm((S)‐BINAPO)2(OTf)3 has the largest gem = 0.272, which is one of the largest recorded for a chiral Sm3+ complex. A theoretical three‐dimensional structural model of the complex that is consistent with the experimental observations is developed and refined. This report also shows that (R/S)‐BINAPO are the only reported ligands where gem (Sm3+) > gem (Eu3+).  相似文献

Treatment of Ln(NO3)3 · 6H2O with 1, 2-phenylenedioxydiacetic acid (H2PDOA) in ethanol leads to the unusual 1-D double chain complexes {[Ln(PDOA)1.5 (H2O)3] · H2O}n (Ln = Sm (1), Eu (2), Dy (3)), in which the Ln3+ ions are linked by pentadentate and bideatate PDOA ligands in two different directions. The chain looks like a ladder containing two -Ln-O-C-O-Ln- chains and PDOA spacers, which has never been observed in the lanthanide carboxylate complexes, and they exhibit different photoluminescence properties.  相似文献

The reaction of halflanthanidocene aryloxides CpR′Ln(OArtBu,R)2 (Ln = Y, La, Lu; CpR′ = C5Me5, C4Me4H; R = H, Me) and halflanthanidocene alkoxides [(C5Me5)Ln(OCH2CMe3)2]2 (Ln = Y, Lu) with trimethylaluminum (TMA) was investigated. Monomeric CpR′Ln(OArtBu,R)2, derived from the ortho-tBu-substituted OC6H2tBu2-2,6-R-4 (R = H, Me) ligands, form mono(tetramethylaluminate) complexes CpR′Ln(OArtBu,R)(AlMe4) for the smaller lanthanide metal centers yttrium and lutetium. Such an [aryloxide] → [aluminate] ligand exchange was not observed at the larger lanthanum metal center. The mobility of the tetramethylaluminate ligands of complexes CpR′Ln(OArtBu,R)(AlMe4) (Ln = Y, Lu) was examined by variable-temperature (VT) 1H NMR spectroscopy, revealing two signals for bridging and terminal methyl groups at lower temperatures. The treatment of complexes CpR′Ln(OArtBu,R)(AlMe4) with donor solvent d8-THF gave CpR′Ln(OArtBu,R)(Me)(d8-THF)2 (Ln = Y, Lu) with terminal methyl groups, according to a donor-induced aluminate cleavage reaction. Dimeric [(C5Me5)Ln(OCH2CMe3)2]2 (Ln = Y, Lu) was synthesized from (C5Me5)Ln(NiPr2)2(THF) and reacted with two equivalents of TMA per Ln center to yield monomeric bis(TMA) adduct complexes (C5Me5)Ln(OCH2CMe3)2(AlMe3)2(Ln = Y, Lu). VT NMR spectroscopic studies confirmed a high mobility of the Ln(μ-OCH2CMe3)(μ-Me)AlMe2 moieties at an ambient temperature. Both bis(TMA) adduct complexes were characterized by X-ray structure analysis.  相似文献

Two lanthanide(III) complexes with l-glutamate ligands [{Ln2(l-Glu)2(H2O)8} · 4(ClO4) · 2.5H2O]n (Ln = Gd (1), Eu (2)) have been prepared and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compounds are isomorphous with infinite cationic 2D layers stacked together by secondary bonds. The building blocks are slightly different non-centrosymmetric dinuclear units placed in alternating layers, the resulting structures thus containing four non-equivalent Ln metal sites. The dinuclear units contain a fourfold bridge, two in the η112 and two in the η212 modes, from two α- and two γ-carboxylates of four different l-Glu residues, respectively.  相似文献

Mesoporous Ln(III)-TiO2 (Ln = Tb, Eu, Sm) nanomaterials composites have been successfully synthesized by using sol-gel technique.XRD pattern, FT-IR, Raman spectra, and SEM were used to characterize the Ln(III)-TiO2 nanomaterials. The prepared lanthanide doped TiO2 nanomaterials have anatase phase and exhibit Ti-O-Ln bond. The absorption spectra of all prepared samples reflect the increasing photoresponse of doped samples to visible light over pure TiO2. Surface area is remarkably increased due to lanthanide ion-doping.Two newly prepared Ln(III)-TiO2 (Ln = Eu, Sm) luminescent nanomaterials exhibit enhanced pure red or orange light emission due to energy transfer from host TiO2 to guest Eu(III) or Sm(III), respectively. In addition, the commercially available textile dye Remazol Red RB-133 degradation was used as a probe reaction to determine the efficiency of the Ln(III)-TiO2 photocatalysts. The Ln(III) doping brought about remarkable improvement in the photoactivity over pure TiO2.  相似文献
