Three new species of Tilletia are described from species of Eriachne (Poaceae) in the arid tropics of north-western Australia. In Western Australia, T. mactaggartii sp. nov. infects E. burkittii, and T. geeringii sp. nov. infects E. festucacea. Tilletia marjaniae sp. nov. infects E. pulchella subsp. dominii in Western Australia and the Northern Territory. These species are the first records of Tilletia on Eriachne. Phylogenetic relationships of these species were inferred from internal transcribed spacer of ribosomal RNA region and large subunit ribosomal RNA gene sequences.  相似文献

Four new species and two new host records of Torula (Torulaceae, Pleosporales) are described and illustrated from herbaceous litter collected in Italy and Thailand. The new species possess colony, conidiophore and conidial characteristics that fit within the generic concept of Torula. Detailed morphological observations clearly demarcate four of these from extant species and are hence described as new (Torula chiangmaiensis sp. nov., Torula pluriseptata sp. nov., Torula chromolaenae sp. nov., Torula mackenziei sp. nov.). Details of asexual morphs are described, and justifications for establishing these new species are provided. The nuclear are sequenced ribosomal RNA genes as well as protein coding genes to infer phylogenetic relationships and discuss phylogenetic affinities with morphologically similar species. Our morphological distinction is further supported by phylogenetic discrimination. In particular, phylogenies depict a close relationship of Torula chiangmaiensis and T. pluriseptata to T. hollandica, while T. chromolaenae and T. mackenziei constitute an independent phylogenetic lineage basal to T. herbarum and T. ficus. Torula ficus and T. masonii are also described and their phylogeny investigated as new host records from Bidens pilosa and Iris germanica, respectively.  相似文献

Five new species of Stenothemus Bourgeois, 1907 from Guangxi, China are described, S. normalis sp. nov., S. flavicans sp. nov., S. nigripennis sp. nov., S. elongaticeps sp. nov. and S. maculaticollis sp. nov.. They are illustrated with habitus photos and aedeagi of males, also abdominal sternites VIII and internal genitalia of females. A key for the identification of the above species is provided.  相似文献

As the first part of the taxonomic review for the Lecithoceridae in the northern part of Vietnam, 14 species belonging to the subfamily Torodorinae are recognized, including five new species. We describe three species of the genus Torodora Meyrick (T. phamae sp. nov., T. bachmaensis sp. nov., T. nabiella sp. nov.), two species of Antiochtha Meyrick and Thubana Walker (A. angustivalva sp. nov. and T. circularis sp. nov.) respectively. A taxonomic review for all known species of the subfamily in Vietnam is provided, with illustrations of the imago and genitalia for the species.  相似文献

Four new species, belonging to three genera, of ostracods from Lake Tanganyika are described: Mesocyprideis nitida sp.nov., Romecytheridea belone sp.nov., R. plegma sp. nov. and Cyprideis loricata sp. nov. The Cyprideis species flock of Lake Tanganyika now consists of 17 formally described species (16 endemic) in 6 genera (4 endemic). The geographical and ecological distribution of the four species is briefly discussed and some supplementary remarks on the radiation of the Cyprideis species flock in Lake Tanganyika are offered.  相似文献

Three new species of the genus Myrmica are described from the Himalayas. Myrmica curvispinosa sp. nov., Myrmica kothiensis sp. nov. and Myrmica religiosa sp. nov. belong to the Myrmica inezae species group, which is earlier represented by 4 species. Myrmica curvispinosa sp. nov. is described based on worker and gyne, with a report of ergatoid as well. Myrmica kothiensis sp. nov. and Myrmica religiosa sp. nov. are described based on worker caste only. A key to the species of the Myrmica inezae species group has been provided in the following.  相似文献

A high diversity of tabulate corals in Eifelian deposits of the Syv“yu River basin (Subpolar Urals) is reported for the first time. Most of the corals are represented by colonies of syringoporids. Five new species Syringopora parva sp. nov., S. insueta sp. nov., S. indecora sp. nov., Tetraporinus syvjuensis sp. nov., and Armalites serotinus sp. nov. are described.  相似文献

Three new species ofPenicillium Linkex Gray nom. cons. prop. are described and illustrated. These species have been recovered from samples of sandy soil under pine trees. They differ from all species of theGenus described so far and are, therefore, considered and proposed as new taxa:Penicillium rubefaciens sp. nov.,Penicillium vaccaeorum sp. nov. andPenicillium michaelis sp. nov.  相似文献

Based on the material collected from Cameroon in 1913–1918 and Congo in 1993 which are preserved in the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Pittsburgh, USA, a new genus Thubdora Park, gen. nov. and seven new species of the subfamily Torodorinae (Lecithoceridae) are described. They are Torodora efulenensis sp. nov., Dragmatucha hispidula sp. nov.; and five species of Thubdora: T. acutalis sp. nov., T. bilobella sp. nov., T. aciphalla sp. nov., T. ambliodes sp. nov., and T. cameroona sp. nov. In addition, six species of Lecithocera Herrich-Shäffer described by Viette, 1955, Viette, 1986 and Meyrick, 1931, Meyrick, 1933 are newly transferred to Torodora and its related genera, due to the male genital characters: Idiopteryx adella (Viette, 1955), comb. nov.; Thubdora decavella (Viette, 1955), comb. nov.; Thubdora mocquerysella (Viette, 1955), comb. nov.; Torodora kambanella (Viette, 1986), comb. nov.; Torodora masoalella (Viette, 1955), comb. nov.; Torodora monobyrsa (Meyrick, 1931), comb. nov.; and T. ochrometra (Meyrick, 1933), comb. nov. (Hylesininae: Tomicini) is the first fossil representative of this genus, differing from recent species in having large triangular scales along the suture. Taphramites rovnoensis sp. nov. (Scolytinae: Dryocoetini) differs from the closest species, T. gnathotrichus from Baltic amber, in the presence of short thin hairs on the elytra.  相似文献
