正Dear Editor,The recent outbreak of novel coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) has already become a global-scale epidemic.Since the case from China was reported on Dec 30th, 2019(Huang et al., 2020; Li et al., 2020), the pathogen was soon identified as a new coronavirus on Jan 7th, 2020 and tentatively named 2019-nCOV (Huang et al., 2020) and later re-  相似文献

INTRODUCTION One resupinate, poroid specimen of wood-inhabiting fungi was collected on angiosperm stump from tropical forest of Hainan Province. After microscopic examination it turned out to be Theleporus calcicolor (Sacc. & P. Syd.) Ryvarden. The genus Theleporus Fr. was not reported from China previously (Dal et al., 2004), and this report is the first record of both the genus and the species in China.  相似文献

DEAR EDITOR, The distribution of the capped langur (Trachypithecus pileatus)in China has become controversial since Shortridge's langur (Trachypithecus shortridgei) was upgraded to a full species. The capped langur is considered to be distributed in northeast India,Bangladesh,Bhutan, and northwest Myanmar only (Brandon-Jones et al.,2004;Choudhury,2008,2014;Das et al.,2008;Groves,2001).In our field survey, however,we obtained photos of the capped langur, demonstrating its existence in China. Following the species promotion of Shortridge's langur (Brandon-Jones et al.,2004;Groves,2001) and the delimiting of its distribution range to northwestern Yunnan in China and northeastern Myanmar (Brandon-Jones et al.,2004;Cui et al.,2016;Das et al.,2008;Groves,2001;Htun et al.,2008),with a new record in southeastern Tibet (Wu et al.,2016),the capped langur has been deleted from the checklist of mammals in China (Jiang et al.,2015).Despite this,Dr.George Schaller has suggested that capped langurs might exist in the northeastern section of the Yarlung-Zangbo River (Choudhury,2008).  相似文献

正Dear Editor,Since April 2010,an outbreak of a new disease has elicited symptoms of high fever, loss of appetite, and reduction in egg production in layer ducks in eastern China;this phenomenon has now spread throughout China(Cao et al.,2011;Su et al.,2011).The causative agent of the disease was identified as Tembusu virus(TMUV),which was classified into the genus Flavivirus,  相似文献

Through a preliminary study of the Changshanian trilobites collected from the Taizihe Valley of Liaoning by the Taizihe stratigraphical team (Wang et al., 1954), from the Qingshuihe region of Nei Monggol by F. H. Chia and Q. L. Kao in 1952, and from the Kushan and Tai'an areas of Shandong by Lu and Dong (1953). 12 new genera and 17 new species are identified (pls. I—III), and six faunal zones and two subzones are established. They are as follows in descending order: VI. Zone with Acanthometopus obesus gen. et sp. nov. (P1. III, figs. 1—4):  相似文献

<正>Dear Editor,Microbial symbionts are crucial participants in the life history of fungus-farming insects (Mueller et al., 2005;Youngsteadt, 2008). The attelabid weevil (Euops chinensis)feeding on Fallopia japonica in southern China, has evolved a special proto-farming bipartite symbiosis with the fungus(Penicillium herquei), which produces antibiotic (+)-scleroderolide in the leaf-rolls ("cradle" for offspring development) to protect the offspring from potential microbial parasites and pathogens (Sakurai, 1985; Wang et al., 2015).  相似文献

The genus Girardia(Tricladida: Dugesiidae) was recorded in China for the first time. A new freshwater turbellarian species, G. sinensis Chen & Wang, sp. nov., is described, which was collected from Xinghu Lake, Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province, China. Observation and analysis of the new species was conducted on morphology, habits, reproduction, histochemistry and molecular phylogenetics. In addition, the results indicated that morphological differences of ACh E+ nerve structure can be used as a distinguishable character for species identification of Dugesiidae.  相似文献
