A complete guide to the rich flora of the metropolitan area of Rome (more than 1600 infrageneric taxa) was made available both as an online multi-entry query interface and as a stand-alone dichotomous key for mobile devices. From the general key, it will be possible to derive many smaller (and hence easier) guides to different parks and gardens of Rome, while teachers have been provided with additional software which permits them to create their own keys for any subset of species.  相似文献

目的 构建新型、双向交互式、远程医疗随访平台,完善心脏术后临床数据的收集,并为患者提供可靠优质的随访服务。方法 运用现代通信、计算机及网络技术,开发与移动网兼容的随诊数据库及软件,以术后随访率、术后重要指标的随访质量,作为评估随访系统的标准。结果 系统正式运行1年余,共录入术后患者1392例,总随访率80.1%,其中超声心动图1065人次,心电图953人次,胸片567人次,国际标准化比值3856人次。结论 三爱医疗随访平台能有效地进行临床资料的收集,并将医疗服务延伸,给患者带来更多的帮助。  相似文献

【目的】海南海口含有丰富的温泉资源,对温泉微生物多样性进行研究,有助于进一步开发和利用海南温泉微生物资源。【方法】本文采用Illumina Hi Seq高通量测序技术对海口3个温泉[海甸岛荣域温泉(S1)、火山口开心农场温泉(S2)和西海岸海长流温泉(S3)]水样中微生物ITS序列和16Sr RNA基因V3-V4区进行测序及生物信息学分析,探究海口市3个不同区域的温泉真菌多样性与细菌多样性。【结果】(1)α多样性分析表明,真菌群落中,S3(29)S1(29)S2,而在细菌群落中,S2(29)S1(29)S3。β多样性分析表明,3个温泉真菌群落和细菌群落组成差异皆显著。(2)分类分析表明,温泉真菌群落优势菌门为子囊菌门(Ascomycota)和担子菌门(Basidiomycota),细菌群落优势菌门为变形菌门(Proteobacteria)、拟杆菌门(Bacteroidetes)、Thermi、硝化螺旋菌门(Nitrospirae)、绿菌门(Chlorobi)、厚壁菌门(Firmicutes)、绿弯菌门(Chloroflexi)、放线菌门(Actinobacteria)。(3) CCA (Canonical correspondence analysis)分析表明,3个温泉的真菌群落主要影响因子是温度,细菌群落主要影响因子是总磷。【结论】海南省海口市温泉中含有丰富的微生物资源,其微生物群落组成受多种环境因子影响,且影响真菌和细菌的主要环境因子不同。  相似文献

【目的】通过对杜氏盐藻的转录组进行测序和基因功能分析,阐明不同浓度盐胁迫对杜氏盐藻生长发育以及不同信号途径的影响。【方法】分别获取9%NaCl浓度和24%NaCl浓度培养下的杜氏盐藻转录组并通过Illumina平台进行测序。将所得的序列进行拼接、去冗余处理。【结果】获得40682个unigenes,其中注释到NR数据库的10905个,注释到NT数据库的2768个,注释到SWISS-PROT数据库的7261个,注释到COG/KOG数据库的6499个。受到高盐胁迫的杜氏盐藻细胞相比低盐环境下,有717个基因表达上调,1012个基因表达下调。进一步对60个显著差异基因进行了功能聚类,发现盐胁迫诱导了光合作用途径的基因表达。【结论】杜氏盐藻通过提高光合作用基因表达增强耐盐性。该研究最大范围上挖掘了杜氏盐藻在高盐和低盐环境的基因转录水平,为深入揭示杜氏盐藻盐胁迫下基因差异表达提供了平台,并为进一步研究杜氏盐藻耐盐机理提供理论依据。  相似文献

Background

In recent years many mobile devices able to record health-related data in ambulatory patients have emerged. However, well-organised programs to incorporate these devices are sparse. Hartwacht Arrhythmia (HA) is such a program, focusing on remote arrhythmia detection using the AliveCor Kardia Mobile (KM) and its algorithm.

Objectives

The aim of this study was to assess the benefit of the KM device and its algorithm in detecting cardiac arrhythmias in a real-world cohort of ambulatory patients.

Methods

All KM ECGs recorded in the HA program between January 2017 and March 2018 were included. Classification by the KM algorithm was compared with that of the Hartwacht team led by a cardiologist. Statistical analyses were performed with respect to detection of sinus rhythm (SR), atrial fibrillation (AF) and other arrhythmias.

Results

5,982 KM ECGs were received from 233 patients (mean age 58 years, 52% male). The KM algorithm categorised 59% as SR, 22% as possible AF, 17% as unclassified and 2% as unreadable. According to the Hartwacht team, 498 (8%) ECGs were uninterpretable. Negative predictive value for detection of AF was 98%. However, positive predictive value as well as detection of other arrhythmias was poor. In 81% of the unclassified ECGs, the Hartwacht team was able to provide a diagnosis.

Conclusions

This study reports on the first symptom-driven remote arrhythmia monitoring program in the Netherlands. Less than 10% of the ECGs were uninterpretable. However, the current performance of the KM algorithm makes the device inadequate as a stand-alone application, supporting the need for manual ECG analysis in HA and similar programs.

Abstract

The Populus tremula x tremuloides Mich. expressed sequence tag (EST) database provides a rich and largely unexplored source of enzymes which can be developed into tools for wood fibre engineering, either by way of post-harvest processing or by transgenic technology. Enzyme discovery through functional genomics techniques, such as cDNA microarray analysis, is spotlighting particular carbohydrate-active enzymes which play a role in cell wall growth and development in wood-forming tissues. The cloning and heterologous expression of these enzymes is facilitating their study on a fundamental level, which lays the groundwork for advanced biotechnological applications.  相似文献

A web search was also performed searching for smartphones, tablets, oncology, radiology and radiation oncology.ResultsSmartphones and tablets allow rapid access to information in the form of podcasts, apps, protocols, reference texts, recent research and more.ConclusionWith the rapidly changing advances in radiation oncology, the trend toward accessing resources via smartphones and tablets will only increase, future will show if this technology will improve clinical care.  相似文献

Abstract

A group of uniquely designed single-stranded oligodeoxyribo-nucleotides that form hairpin loops were synthesized. These oligonucleotides can be ligated to other synthetic single-stranded fragents differing in length and design without the need for external annealing templates. A novel approach to building a limitless variety of mobile multiple-restriction DNA fragments termed “uni-linkers” and which are open only at one end, is described. The latter were used as “multi-stage” linkers in cloning experiments. The cloning of the cDNA for a carrot proline-rich protein, DC-5, into a plant vector is presented as an example. Abstract

Staphylococcus epidermidis, a harmless human skin colonizer, is a significant nosocomial pathogen in predisposed hosts because of its capability to form a biofilm on indwelling medical devices. In a recent paper, the purification and identification of the pentadecanal produced by the Antarctic bacterium Pseudoalteromonas haloplanktis TAC125, able to impair S. epidermidis biofilm formation, were reported. Here the authors report on the chemical synthesis of pentadecanal derivatives, their anti-biofilm activity on S. epidermidis, and their action in combination with antibiotics. The results clearly indicate that the pentadecanal derivatives were able to prevent, to a different extent, biofilm formation and that pentadecanoic acid positively modulated the antimicrobial activity of the vancomycin. The cytotoxicity of these new anti-biofilm molecules was tested on two different immortalized eukaryotic cell lines in view of their potential applications.  相似文献

Identification of organisms is traditionally based on the use of “classic” identification keys, normally printed on paper. These keys have several drawbacks: they are mainly based on the systematics, requiring identification of orders, families and genera at first; they are written by experts for other experts, in a specific scientific jargon; they have a “frozen” structure (sequence of theses/antitheses); once published, they cannot be changed or updated without printing a new edition. Due to the use of computers, it is now possible to build new digital identification tools, which: 1) can be produced automatically, if the characters are stored in a database; 2) can be freed from the traditional systematics, giving priority to easy-to-observe characters, incl. those usually uncommon to the classical keys, such as ecology and distribution; 3) can be updated in real time once published on-line; 4) can be available on different media, and on mobile devices. An important feature of these new digital tools is their “collaborative” nature. They can be enriched by the contribution of several researchers, which can cooperate while maintaining rights and property of the resources and data they contribute to the system. JellyWeb, the information system on Scyphozoa, Cubozoa and Staurozoa has been developed in Trieste since 2010. The system was created with the aim of – potentially – becoming a starting point for a wide collaborative effort in developing a user-friendly worldwide digital identification system for jellyfishes.  相似文献

【目的】分析沙门氏菌的泛耐药基因组特征。【方法】以EnteroBase数据库中16365株沙门氏菌为对象,利用课题组自主研发的泛耐药基因组分析软件(PRAP),进行泛耐药基因组结构的鉴定,通过曼-惠特尼秩和检验和皮尔逊检验,来分析耐药基因与血清型、序列型(sequence type,ST)及分离株样本来源信息间的相关性。【结果】沙门氏菌共有104种耐药基因,其中核心耐药基因18种,附属耐药基因86种,且沙门氏菌拥有一个开放型的泛耐药基因组;相同的血清型(或ST型)有相似的耐药基因谱,不同血清型(或ST型)间耐药基因的分布差异显著(P0.05),耐药基因与样本来源、分离国家及年份间也存在一定的相关性;在测试的23种获得性耐药基因中,43.48%(10/23)的占比逐年升高,73.91%(17/23)以单一亚型为优势。【结论】利用PRAP软件分析获得的这些结果揭示了近年来沙门氏菌耐药基因的时空分布规律,为沙门氏菌等食源性致病菌耐药性的研究提供了新思路。  相似文献

During the past decade, cluster computing and mobile communication technologies have been extensively deployed and widely applied because of their giant commercial value. The rapid technological advancement makes it feasible to integrate these two technologies and a revolutionary application called mobile cluster computing is arising on the horizon. Mobile cluster computing technology can further enhance the power of our laptops and mobile devices by running parallel applications. However, scheduling parallel applications on mobile clusters is technically challenging due to the significant communication latency and limited battery life of mobile devices. Therefore, shortening schedule length and conserving energy consumption have become two major concerns in designing efficient and energy-aware scheduling algorithms for mobile clusters. In this paper, we propose two novel scheduling strategies aimed at leveraging performance and power consumption for parallel applications running on mobile clusters. Our research focuses on scheduling precedence constrained parallel tasks and thus duplication heuristics are applied to schedule parallel tasks to minimize communication overheads. However, existing duplication algorithms are developed with consideration of schedule lengths, completely ignoring energy consumption of clusters. In this regard, we design two energy-aware duplication scheduling algorithms, called EADUS and TEBUS, to schedule precedence constrained parallel tasks with a complexity of O(n 2), where n is the number of tasks in a parallel task set. Unlike the existing duplication-based scheduling algorithms that replicate all the possible predecessors of each task, the proposed algorithms judiciously replicate predecessors of a task if the duplication can help in conserving energy. Our energy-aware scheduling strategies are conducive to balancing scheduling lengths and energy savings of a set of precedence constrained parallel tasks. We conducted extensive experiments using both synthetic benchmarks and real-world applications to compare our algorithms with two existing approaches. Experimental results based on simulated mobile clusters demonstrate the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed duplication-based scheduling strategies. For example, EADUS and TABUS can reduce energy consumption for the Gaussian Elimination application by averages of 16.08% and 8.1% with merely 5.7% and 2.2% increase in schedule length respectively.

A synopsis of the Italian taxa of tribe Boragineae (Boraginaceae, subfam. Boraginoideae) is given as a second contribution to the treatment of the family for the Flora Critica d'Italia project. The work is mainly based on the critical study of herbarium material and extensive literature survey. All relevant floristic reports were examined and types of all the accepted (51) and most (37/46) of the synonymized names of taxa, specific and infraspecific, reported from the National territory are indicated. In the light of karyological and morphological evidence, the new combination Pulmonaria vallarsae subsp. apennina is proposed. As a result, 12 genera and 37 species are recognized, of which 7 are allochtonous and 6, plus two subspecies, are endemic. A synthetic floristic treatment is provided, including analytical keys, hybrids, list of synonyms and short distribution notes. In addition, detailed distribution maps are provided, together with the lists of the selected specimens upon which they are based.  相似文献

The subfamily Deltocephalinae is represented in New Zealand by 3 tribes, 9 genera, and 20 species, of which 3 genera and 13 species are new to science. All taxa are described, and keys are given for their separation. Three of the genera are endemic, 3 are Australian, 2 are Holarctic, and 1 is cosmopolitan. Nesoclutha and Macrosteles are recorded in New Zealand for the first time, and the presence of Deltocephalus is authenticated. Fourteen species are endemic, 4 are Australian, 1 is widespread in the Pacific area, and 1 is Holarctic. Nesoclutha pallida, Macrosteles fieberi, and Deltocephalus hospes are recorded in New Zealand for the first time.  相似文献

?????? 目的 测算酒精性肝硬化理论住院日,探究其影响因素,为制定临床路径提供依据。方法 收集418位患者资料,用住院日适当性评价方案对患者9 694个住院日进行逐一分析,测算酒精性肝硬化的理论住院日,然后用SPSS 20.0对不适当住院日进行单因素和多因素分析。结果 16.6%的住院日是不恰当的,等待检查报告和等待手术导致的不适当住院日占76.09%;术前等待日和肝功能Child-Pugh分级是影响不适当住院日的两大因素。结论 不适当住院日处于中间水平,应加强各科室之间的沟通协调,在医技科室和网络上加强管理是关键。  相似文献

首都医科大学附属北京世纪坛医院承担了“京医通二期”项目试点工作。项目主要目标是在不改变医保卡介质使用的前提下,让医保患者可以方便使用京医通支付体系,持一张医保卡即可完成在医生诊间、自助终端的便捷支付。同时,借助互联网应用建立京医通微信公众服务号,实现医保及京医通全人群患者在手机微信端进行预约挂号,就诊导诊等功能。试点项目投入使用后,使患者平均在院滞留时间减少16.7分钟,提升了患者就诊体验。以项目建设实践为基础,介绍了整个项目的系统架构设计、医疗机构对接方式、目前系统实现的功能、应用效果等内容,并结合项目建设规划总结项目建设的意义及存在的问题。

Whole cells of the phytopathogenic Erwinia chrysanthemi strains were immobilized in k-carrageenan and grown in high-calcium Xanthomonas campestris medium containing sodium polypectate as carbon source. All the strains used survived immobilization into k-carrageenan beads. Immobilized E. chrysanthemi strains displayed higher pectolytic and proteolytic enzyme activities than free cells in liquid suspension. Carrageenan immobilization techniques could provide a system to mimic the conditions of E. chrysanthemi cells in the infected plant tissue. The general Theory of Categories is applied to the study of the (M, R)-systems previously defined. A set of axioms is provided which characterize “abstract (M, R)-systems”, defined in terms of the Theory of Categories. It is shown that the replication of the repair components of these systems may be accounted for in a natural way within this framework, thereby obviating the need for anad hoc postulation of a replication mechanism. A time-lag structure is introduced into these abstract (M, R)-systems. In order to apply this structure to a discussion of the “morphology” of these systems, it is necessary to make certain assumptions which relate the morphology to the time lags. By so doing, a system of abstract biology is in effect constructed. In particular, a formulation of a general Principle of Optimal Design is proposed for these systems. It is shown under what conditions the repair mechanism of the system will be localized into a spherical region, suggestive of the nuclear arrangements in cells. The possibility of placing an abstract (M, R)-system into optimal form in more than one way is then investigated, and a necessary and sufficient condition for this occurrence is obtained.
