Abstract

Cistus clusii Dunal: a note on nomenclature and distribution with special reference to the station of Lesina (Foggia). — The recent finding of Cistus clusii Dunal at Torre del Fortore (Pietramaura) near Lesina (Puglia - Southern Italy), besides confirming its presence in the region, indicates that its diffusion is larger than it was thought. This species is in danger of disappearing because the larger part of the station is included within a lotting area.  相似文献

Abstract

Flora of Popoli's gorges (Central Italy). — The results of floristic research developed from 1967 to 1969 at the Popoli's gorges (province of Pescara, in Abruzzo, Central Italy) are reported. Short accounts on the geographic position, on the geology and climate of the gorges are given, together with the floristic index of 696 entities, 4 of which are new for Abruzzo. For each species the biological and the phytogeographical categories are indicated; and for the whole of the flora the biological spectrum. This shows that this flora is a submediterranean one, with altitude influences. Critical remarks are developed about the taxonomy and distribution in the region of Abruzzo of several species wich looked particularly significant to the author.  相似文献

Summary

The Author has studied the vegetation of the Ossero pools (the large and the small one) analising especially the formation which are characteristic of them.

In the level partion of the large pool the following formations — starting from the beach — are to be noted: Salicornia herbacea L., Hordeum marinum Huds., Inula viscosa All. and Artemisia coerulescens L.

The Salicornia herbacea L. formation is sensibly homogencus in that portion of its area in which, owing to the high saline concentration of the soil, no other pecies is able to grow. In the remaining portion with a lower saline concentration, other species accompagny Salicornia herbacea.

The Hordeun marinum Huds. formation comprises that portion of the pool which, being but little above the sea level, is invaded by high tides during the winter time. The saline concentation of the soil is here lower than in the area of the Salicornia herbacea formation. On the sea side Hordeum marinum is mixed to Salicornia herbacea; on the opposite side it accompanies annual species with brief life cycle.

The Inula viscosa All. formation which is generally characteristic of the newly formed ground in the Ossero pound is only occasional and consequently unstable.

Last of all the Artemisia coerulescens formation is much more stable than that of Inula viscosa, although established in a ground of similar origin, but with a greater humus content.

Of special interest are two small lakes which are situated on the border of the large pool. Thir vegetation is composed by typically laky species.

The author compares the succession of formation described above with that of the other coast marsh in the mediterranean region, especially at Campora, Arbe (see Morton 1915).

Here is, however, the succession of formations not so regular as in the large pool of Ossero. Nevertheless, both Campora and Ossero are to be classified as « Formation des Meeresstrandes» (Morton).

Crypsis aculeata Ait., Hordeum marinum Huds., and Medicago litoralis Rohde found at Ossero were not known for the flora of Cherso.

The vegetation of the small pool at Ossero (which only rarely invaded by the sea water) does not show the regular succession of formations which is typical of the large pool it comprises two main groups of species, namely: 1) those living between the beach and the pool, and 2) those extending from the pool to the inland.

Some species present in the large pool (among them Crypsis aculeata, Hordeum marinum, Medicago litoralis) are not represented in the flora of the small pool and vice versa.  相似文献

Summary

The auth. describes the vegetation of the «Murgia S. Elio» mountain (500 m. s. l.), near Altamuta (Bari); the vegetation is open as the cretaceous limestone is often bare, and is composed mainly of therophytic, and suffruticose or chamaephytic plants.  相似文献

Abstract

Vegetation of the ponds in the zone of Olbia (northeast Sardinia). – The present paper contains a study on the vegetation of the ponds and marshes in the neighbourhood of Olbia. The following well determined associations have been ascertained: Chaetomorpho-Ruppietum, Salicornietum fruticosae, Arthrocnemeto-Limoniastretum monopetali, Juncetum maritimi, Scirpetum maritimi, Caricetum divisae, Schoeneto-Plantaginetum crassifoliae. Furthermore, some other consociations have been observed (with: Pholiurus incurvas and Triglochin bulbosum; Juncus subulatus; Scirpus setaceus and Spergularia rubra; Agropyrum elongatum and Spartina juncea).

The authors have also taken into consideration the present distribution of the vegetation in relation to the modifications due to the fact that this area has been reclaimed.  相似文献

Abstract

The functional roles of seagrasses in the economy of coastal waters are to be fully realised and more clearly delineated. The biology, ecology and energetics of seagrasses meadows of the Mediterranean Sea, and in particular of Posidonia oceanica inclusing the stabilization of coastal sediments, this role as a base for major detrital food chains, nutrient resources contributory to general productivity of the open sea and the support of dense epiphytic communities, are discussed.

Abstract

Marine mycoflora of Portofino bay.—On a detrital limestone in Portofino bay, wood panels of Fraxinus ornus, Abies alba, Ochroma lagopus, Fagus sylvatica, Larix decidua, Pinus pinaster, Populus alba and Olea europaea have been laid as bait in different periods of the year to show the incidental seasonal influence on the installation of fungine species.

A different seasonal frequency has been noticed also concerning fouling organisms. The wooden bait has been fished out after a minimum time of 50 and a maximum of 283 days, and incubated in a moist chamber to foster growth and isolation of fungi.

Lulworthia medusa is one of the most frequent species and fructifies plentifully near corpses and holes of the isopod Limnoria tripunctata.

This ascomycete fructifies also on wood panels incubated in Petri dishes in contact with filter paper imbued with bacteria, whereas it does not fructify in culture if strips of the same paper are sterilized. It seems therefore that bacteria carry on an important role in the complex relations between isopod crustaceans and fungi; Limnoria carrying bacteria stimulated the forming of perithecia of Lulworthia. This lignicolous fungus has been isolated in two different species, according to the length of the mucillagineous appendages of the ascospora and on some physiological characters.

The presence of Trichocladium achrasporum for the Mediterranean, of Halosphaeria maritima for the Italian seas are reported for the first time; the presence of Nia vibrissa and of Humicola alopallonella is reported for the second time for Italy. Papulaspora halima has been isolated again, after protracted immersion and incubation. The partiality for temperate-cold temperatures of Cirrenalia macrocephala and of Corollospora maritima is confirmed. Other ubiquitous species are reported, and the hypothesis of Ceriosporiopsis halima flourishing in polluted water is renewed.  相似文献

Abstract

The composition of the stigmatic exudate of Citrus limon (L.) Burm. - Biochemical analyses of the stigmatic exudate of Citrus limon (L.) Burm. have revealed the presence of lipids, polysaccharides, proteins, phenols, free aminoacids and alkaloids. The role of stigma secretion is discussed in relation to pollen activation and recognition and the pollen tube growth.  相似文献

Abstract

The lipidic component of Citrus limon (L.) Burm. stigmatic exudate. Chromatographic methods (Gas Chromatography and Thin Layer Chromatography) were used to investigate the lipids present in the stigmatic secretion of Citrus limon.

12 fatty acids, ranging from C 12 to C 24, were identified; they form 7 classes of different lipids, 3 of them having unsaturated components.  相似文献
