The ion current to a cylindrical probe is considered with allowance for volume ionization, ion–neutral collisions, and the ion orbital moment. A model based on the molecular dynamics method and applicable in a wide range of plasma parameters (rp/λD= 0.01–100, ri/λD= 0.002–200, νi/ω0i= 0.01–0.05, and Ti/Te = 0?0.01) is proposed A convenient representation of the dependence of the relative ion current density on the Langmuir coefficient β2 and a technique for determining the plasma density from simulation results are offered.  相似文献

Laser spectroscopy measurements of the effective temperature of Ar1+ ions in the PNX-U multipole trap, in which argon plasma is ionized and heated by microwaves under electron-cyclotron-resonance conditions, are performed using a narrow-band tunable dye laser. The absorption profile of the 611.5-nm line is examined. In a microwave power range of 5–50 kW, the observed behavior of the effective temperature of argon ions Ti, eff indicates an anomalous mechanism for ion heating. It is shown that certain information about the electron temperature can be deduced from measurements by the laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) technique. The measurements performed also serve to test the laser technique and apparatus that is presently being developed for diagnosing additives to the ITER divertor plasma by the LIF method.  相似文献

The parameters of the electrode region of an electrode microwave discharge in nitrogen are studied by emission spectroscopy. The radial and axial distributions of the intensities of the bands of the second (N2(C 3Π u B 3Π g )) and first (N2(B 3Π g A 3Σ u + )) positive systems of molecular nitrogen and the first negative system of nitrogen ions (N 2 + (B 2Σ u + X 2Σ g + )), the radial profiles of the electric field E and the electron density N e , and the absolute populations of the vibrational levels v C = 0–4 of the C 3Π u excited state of N2 and the vibrational level v Bi = 0 of the B 2Σ u + excited state of a molecular nitrogen ion are determined. The population temperature of the first vibrational level T V of the ground electronic state X 1Σ g + of N2 and the excitation temperature T C of the C 3Π u state in the electrode region of the discharge are measured. The radius of the spherical region and the spatially integrated plasma emission spectra are studied as functions of the incident microwave power and gas pressure. A method for determining the electron density and the microwave field strength from the plasma emission characteristics is described in detail.  相似文献

A study is made of the structure of a relativistic current filament with the azimuthal magnetic field Bθ in the range 4πn e m e c2?B θ 2 n i m i c2, when the plasma quasineutrality near the filament axis is violated and a narrow peak in electron density is formed there. The ion dynamics in a strong radial electric field of the filament on time scales of about several inverse ion plasma frequencies ω pi ?1 is investigated. The initial ion pressure prevents the ion plasma component from compression to infinitely high densities under the action of the electric field and leads to the formation of a dense hot plasma core near the axis of the Z-pinch on time scales of about a dozen ω pi ?1 . The compression of the ion component in the axial region gives rise to a collisionless “unloading” shock wave that propagates away from the axis and is accompanied by the vanishing of the radial ion velocity behind the shock front, the accumulation of positive charge near the axis, and the formation of a steady-state ion density profile. It is shown theoretically that ion-ion dissipation manifests itself as the destruction of the hot core of the formed Z-pinch on picosecond time scales. This may serve to explain the explosions of “hot points” in a current-carrying plasma.  相似文献

Results are presented from measurements of the temperature characteristics of subsonic CO2 plasma flows generated by a 100-kW induction plasmatron at the Institute for Problems of Mechanics, Russian Academy of Sciences. The atomic excitation temperature T a and the population temperature T e of the electronic states of C2 molecules (both averaged over the jet diameter) were measured from the absolute intensities of the atomic spectral lines and the spectrum of C2 molecules in different generation regimes at gas pressures of 25–140 hPa and anode supply powers of 29–72 kW. The longitudinal and radial profiles of the temperatures were determined for some of these regimes and compared to those obtained from numerical calculations of equilibrium induction plasma flows in the discharge channel. For some generation regimes, the dependences of the averaged (over the line of sight) rotational and vibrational temperatures (T r and T v) on the discharge parameters, as well as the radial profiles of these temperatures, were determined from the best fit of the measured and calculated spectra of C2 molecules (Swan bands). The self-absorption of molecular emission was observed at sufficiently high temperatures and gas pressures, and its influence on the measured values of the molecular temperatures T e, T v, and T r was examined.  相似文献

Parallel propagating electromagnetic electron cyclotron (EMEC) waves in the extended plasma sheet (~12RS) and in the outer magnetosphere (~18RS) of Saturn have been studied. A dispersion relation for parallel propagating relativistic EMEC waves has been applied to the magnetosphere of Saturn, and comparisons have been made with the data of Voyager 1 at these radial distances. The detailed investigations for EMEC waves have been done in the presence of the perpendicular AC electric field, using the kappa distribution function. The relativistic temporal growth rate is calculated by the method of characteristic solution with the data provided by Voyager 1. The effect of the suprathermal electron density, temperature anisotropy, frequency of AC electric field, thermal energy of ions, and relativistic factor on the temporal growth rate of EMEC wave emission has been studied. The simulation results show that the growth of parallel propagating EMEC waves is significantly affected by variations in the temperature anisotropy, electron density, ion thermal energy, and relativistic factor in both the extended plasma sheet and the outer magnetosphere of Saturn. The temperature anisotropy (T⊥/T), ion thermal energy (KBTi), and electron density (n0) have been found to be a major source of free energy for parallel propagating EMEC waves in both regions.  相似文献

A Gram-stain negative, rod-shaped, non-motile, strictly aerobic bacterium HK-28T was isolated from a mangrove sediment sample in Haikou city, Hainan Province, China. Strain HK-28T was able to grow at 10–45 °C (optimum 25–30 °C), pH 5.0–8.5 (optimum 6.0–7.0) and 0.5–12.0% (w/v) NaCl (optimum 1.0–3.0%, w/v). The major cellular fatty acids were C16:0, Summed Feature 8 (C18:1 ω7c and/or C18:1 ω6c), Summed Feature 3 (C16:1 ω7c and/or C16:1 ω6c), C17:0, C12:0 3-OH and C17:1ω8c. Ubiquinone-8 (Q-8) was the predominant respiratory quinone. The polar lipids consisted of diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, two unidentified aminophospholipids, four unidentified phospholipids, two unidentified glycolipid, an unidentified glycophospholipid, an unidentified aminolipid and an unidentified lipid. The DNA G+C content was 50.2 mol%. Accoroding to 16S rRNA gene sequence similarities, strain HK-28T shared 97.1 and 96.7% sequence similarities to the validly named species Gallaecimonas xiamenensis MCCC 1A01354T and Gallaecimonas pentaromativorans MCCC 1A06435T, respectively, and shared lower sequence similarities (<?92.0%) to all other genera. Phylogenetic analysis showed strain HK-28T was clustered with G. pentaromativorans MCCC 1A06435T and G. xiamenensis MCCC 1A01354T. Strain HK-28T showed low DNA–DNA relatedness with G. xiamenensis MCCC 1A01354T (28.3?±?1.5%) and G. pentaromativorans MCCC 1A06435T (25.2?±?2.4%). On the basis of phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and genotypic characteristics, strain HK-28T is considered to represent a novel species in the genus Gallaecimonas, for which the name Gallaecimonas mangrovi sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is HK-28T (=?KCTC 62177T?=?MCCC 1K03441).  相似文献

Three novel bacterial strains (UCM-2T, UCM-G28T, and UCM-G35T) were obtained while isolating soil bacteria for the development of antibiotics. Cells of these strains were Gram-negative, non-spore forming, motile by means of a single flagellum, and rod shaped. In all strains, the predominant isoprenoid quinone was ubiquinone-8 (Q-8). Cells contained C16:0, summed feature 3 (C16:1ω7c and/or C16:1ω6c), summed feature 8 (C18:1ω7c and/or C18:1ω6c), and C17:0 cyclo as the major fatty acids, and C10:0 3-OH as the major hydroxy fatty acid. The polar lipid profiles of the three novel strains were dominated by diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylglycerol. The genomic DNA G + C contents of strains UCM-2T, UCM-G28T, and UCMG35T were 67.5, 65.9, and 66.4 mol%, respectively. Phylogenetic analyses based on 16S rRNA sequences showed that strain UCM-2T was most closely related to Variovorax soli NBRC 106424T, whereas strains UCM-G28T and UCM-G35T were most similar to Variovorax ginsengisoli Gsoil 3165T. Values indicating DNA-DNA hybridization between the novel isolates and closely related species in the genus Variovorax were lower than the 70% cut-off point. These phenotypic, chemotaxonomic, and phylogenetic data indicate that the three isolates should be classified as new members of the genus Variovorax, for which the names Variovorax ureilyticus sp. nov., Variovorax rhizosphaerae sp. nov., and Variovorax robiniae sp. nov. are proposed. The type strains are UCM-2T (= KACC 18899T = NBRC 112306T), UCMG28T (= KACC 18900T = NBRC 112307T), and UCM-G35T (= KACC 18901T = NBRC 112308T), respectively.  相似文献

A bacterial isolate was recovered from a soil sample collected in Jeollabuk-do Province, South Korea, and subjected to polyphasic taxonomic assessment. Cells of the isolate, designated strain S1-2-1-2-1T, were observed to be rod-shaped, pink in color, and Gram-stain negative. The strain was able to grow at temperature range from 10 to 30 °C, with an optimum of 25 °C, and growth occurred at pH 6–8. Comparative 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis showed that strain S1-2-1-2-1T belongs to the genus Hymenobacter, with closely related type strains being Hymenobacter daeguensis 16F3Y-2T (95.8% similarity), Hymenobacter rubidus DG7BT (95.8%), Hymenobacter soli PBT (95.7%), Hymenobacter terrenus MIMtkLc17T (95.6%), Hymenobacter terrae DG7AT (95.3%), and Hymenobacter saemangeumensis GSR0100T (95.2%). The genomic DNA G+C content of strain S1-2-1-2-1T was 63.0 mol%. The main polar lipid of this strain was phosphatidylethanolamine, the predominant respiratory quinone was menaquinone-7, and the major fatty acids were C15:0 iso (27.3%), summed feature 3 (C16:1 ω7c/C16:1 ω6c) (16.5%), C15:0 anteiso (15.3%), and C16:0 (14.7%), supporting the affiliation of this strain with the genus Hymenobacter. The results of this polyphasic analysis allowed for the genotypic and phenotypic differentiation of strain S1-2-1-2-1T from recognized Hymenobacter species. On the basis of its phenotypic properties, genotypic distinctiveness, and chemotaxonomic features, strain S1-2-1-2-1T is considered to represent a novel species of the genus Hymenobacter, for which the name Hymenobacter agri sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is S1-2-1-2-1T (=KCTC 52739T?=?JCM 32194T).  相似文献

The formation of a peaked bell-shaped profile of the electron density n e (r) in the T-11M tokamak (B t=1 T, R/a = 0.7/0.2 m, I p = 100 kA, t shot ≤ 300 ms, Li and C limiters) was observed in Li experiments carried out in the near-plateau collisionality regime (the collisionality parameter at one-half of the minor radius was v* ≥ 0.5) under the conditions of low hydrogen recycling and intense hydrogen influx from the plasma edge. It is well known that peaked n e (r) profiles are observed in collisionless regimes at v* values as low as 10?1–10?2 or in impurity-contaminated discharges, in which this effect can be attributed to the impurity accumulation on the plasma column axis. Moreover, a bell-shaped n e (r) profile in discharges with low n e can result from the ionization of hydrogen atoms at the column axis, where they arrive from the plasma edge due to cascade charge-exchange. In quasi-steady lithium discharges in T-11M, however, peaked n e (r) profiles were observed at a relatively high central electron density n e (0) and relatively high collision frequency, such that the influence of impurities on the n e (r) profile could be ignored (Z eff = 1.1±0.1). To explain this effect, one has to assume that the pinching of hydrogen ions in T-11M is anomalous. The lower estimate of the observed pinch velocity is 4 ± 1 m/s, which is three to five times higher than the velocity of the neoclassical (Ware) pinch, characteristic of these conditions. The work is devoted to the experimental study of this effect.  相似文献

Strains pyc13T and ZGT13 were isolated from Lake Pengyan and Lake Zigetang on Tibetan Plateau, respectively. Both strains were Gram-negative, catalase- and oxidase-positive, aerobic, rod-shaped, nonmotile, and nonflagellated bacteria. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that strains pyc13T and ZGT13 belong to the genus Halomonas, with Halomonas alkalicola 56-L4-10aEnT as their closest neighbor, showing 97.4% 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity. The predominant respiratory quinone of both strains was Q-9, with Q-8 as a minor component. The major fatty acids of both strains were C18:1ω6c/C18:1ω7c, C16:1ω6c/C16:1ω7c, C16:0, and C12:0 3OH. The polar lipids of both strains consisted of phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylglycerol, diphosphatidylglycerol, glycolipid, phospholipids of unknown structure containing glucosamine, and unidentified phospholipids. The DNA G + C content of pyc13T and ZGT13 were 62.6 and 63.4 mol%, respectively. The DNA-DNA hybridization values of strain pyc13T were 34, 41, 61, 35, and 35% with the reference strains H. alkalicola 56-L4-10aEnT, H. sediminicola CPS11T, H. mongoliensis Z-7009T, H. ventosae Al12T, and H. fontilapidosi 5CRT, respectively. Phenotypic, biochemical, genotypic, and DNA-DNA hybridization data showed that strains pyc13T and ZGT13 represent a new species within the genus Halomonas, for which the name H. tibetensis sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is pyc13T (= CGMCC 1.15949T = KCTC 52660T).  相似文献

White and pale yellow coloured bacteria were isolated from the riverside soil, Daejeon, South Korea, and were designated UCM-11T, UCM-F25, and UCM-80T. We found that all strains were able to reduce nitrate, and the cells were aerobic and motile. The DNA G+C contents of UCM-11T, UCM-F25, and UCM-80T were between 68.9 to 71.2 mol% and the main ubiquinone was observed as Q-8. Based on16S rRNA gene sequences, strains UCM-11T and UCM-F25 were found to closely match with Azohydromonas australica IAM 12664T (98.48–98.55%), and the strain UCM-80T was the closest match with Azohydromonas lata IAM 12599T (98.34%). The presence of summed feature 3 (C16:1 ω7c and/or C16:1 ω6c), C16:0, summed feature 8 (C18:1 ω7c and/or C18:1 ω6c) as well as twokinds of hydroxyfatty acids consisting of C10:0 3-OH and C12:0 2-OH, and branched fatty acids containing C16:0 iso and C17:0 cyclo were detected in all the strains. Phosphatidylethanolamine was a major polar lipid. DNA–DNA relatedness confirmed UCM-11T, UCM-F25 and UCM-80T as novel members of the genus Azohydromonas. Based on the morphological, physiological, biochemical and genotypic characteristics, we suggest that strains UCM-11T, UCM-F25, and UCM-80T represent novel species within the genus Azohydromonas. The names Azohydromonas riparia sp. nov., and Azohydromonas ureilytica sp. nov. are proposed for the type strains UCM-11T (=KACC 18570T =NBRC 111646T) and UCM-80T (=KACC 18576T =NBRC 111658T), respectively.  相似文献

Two Gram-stain negative halophilic strains, designated as LM2T and LM4, were isolated from Lake LongmuCo on Tibetan Plateau. These two strains were aerobic, catalaseand oxidase-positive, nonmotile and rod-shaped organisms. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences indicated that LM2T and LM4 belong to the genus Roseovarius, with Roseovarius tolerans EL-172T (97.3% and 97.4% 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity, respectively) and Roseovarius azorensis SSW084T (95.5% and 95.6% 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity, respectively) as their closest neighbors. Q-10 was the sole respiratory quinone of these two strains. The major fatty acids were C18:1ω7c/C18:1ω6c, C16:0, C19:0 cyclo ω8c, and 11-methyl C18:1ω7c. The polar lipids included phosphatidylglycerol, diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylcholine, phospholipid of unknown structure containing glucosamine, and unidentified aminolipid. The DNA G + C content was between 64.2 and 64.5 mol%. DNA-DNA hybridization showed 96.7% relatedness between LM2T and LM4, 24.9% relatedness between LM2T and R. tolerans EL-172T, and 36.3% relatedness between LM4 and R. tolerans EL-172T. Based on phylogenetic analysis, DNA-DNA hybridization, a range of physiological and biochemical characteristics, LM2T and LM4 belong to the same species and were clearly distinguished from the type strains of the genus Roseovarius. It was evident that LM2T and LM4 could be classified as a novel species of the genus Roseovarius, for which the name Roseovarius tibetensis sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is LM2T (= CGMCC 1.16230T = KCTC 62028T).  相似文献

Three Gram-negative, strictly aerobic, chemolithoheterotrophic bacterial strains, designated UCM-30, UCM-33, and UCM-39T, were isolated in South Korea. Based on their 16S rRNA gene sequences, the three isolated strains were found to be similar to Limnobacter thiooxidans CS-K2T (97.41–97.68%), Limnobacter litoralis KP1-19T (95.55–95.76%), and various genera belonging to the class Betaproteobacteria (90.34–93.34%). DNA-DNA hybridization showed 79.3–83.9% similarity between the genomic DNA of UCM-39T, UCM-30, and UCM-33, while the sequence similarity between UCM-39T and L. thiooxidans KACC 13837T or L. litoralis LMG 24869T was 23.7% and 18.6%, respectively. The DNA G+C content of UCM 39T was 59.7 mol%, the major ubiquinone was Q-8, and the optimal oxidation rate was observed at 10 mM thiosulfate. The major fatty acids (≥ 10%) were summed features 3 (C16:1 ω7c and/or C16:1 ω6c) and 8 (C18:1 ω7c and/or C18:1 ω6c), and C16:0. The major polar lipids (diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylglycerol) were found in all members of genus Limnobacter. Based on phenotypic, physiological, and phylogenetic analyses, the UCM-39T strain was found to be significantly distinct to represent a novel species affiliated to the genus Limnobacter. We propose to name it Limnobacter humi sp. nov. with the type strain UCM-39T (=KACC 18574T =NBRC 111650T).  相似文献

A novel actinomycete strain, designated TRM 49605T, was isolated from a desert soil sample from Lop Nur, Xinjiang, north-west China, and characterised using a polyphasic taxonomic approach. The strain exhibited antifungal activity against the following strains: Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Curvularia lunata, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium oxysporum, Penicillium citrinum, Candida albicans and Candida tropicalis; Antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus epidermidis and Micrococcus luteus; and no antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences affiliated strain TRM 49605T to the genus Streptomyces. Strain TRM 49605T shows high sequence similarities to Streptomyces roseolilacinus NBRC 12815T (98.62 %), Streptomyces flavovariabilis NRRL B-16367T (98.45 %) and Streptomyces variegatus NRRL B-16380T (98.45 %). Whole cell hydrolysates of strain TRM 49605T were found to contain ll-diaminopimelic acid as the diagnostic diamino acid and galactose, glucose, xylose and mannose as the major whole cell sugars. The major fatty acids in strain TRM 49605T were identified as iso C16:0, anteiso C15:0, C16:0 and Summed Feature 5 as defined by MIDI. The main menaquinones were identified as MK-9(H4), MK-9(H6), MK-9(H8) and MK-10(H6). The polar lipids were diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylinositol mannoside. The G+C content of the genomic DNA was determined to be 71.2 %. The DNA–DNA relatedness between strain TRM 49605T and the phylogenetically related strain S. roseolilacinus NBRC 12815T was 60.12 ± 0.06 %, which is lower than the 70 % threshold value for delineation of genomic prokaryotic species. Based on the phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and phylogenetic data, strain TRM 49605T (=CCTCC AA2015026T = KCTC 39666T) should be designated as the type strain of a novel species of the genus Streptomyces, for which the name Streptomyces luozhongensis sp. nov. is proposed.  相似文献

Mechanisms for generating current filaments in a dense plasma under the action of focused laser pulses and in a Z-pinch configuration are discussed. The main properties of current filaments with a zero and nonzero electron vorticity Ω e =B?(c/e)?×p e that originate at magnetic fields in the range 4πn e m e c2?B2?4πn i m i c2 are investigated under the conditions of Coulomb explosion at currents below the ion Alfvén current. A study is made of the equilibrium configurations of nonquasineutral current filaments in a purely longitudinal (Bz) and a purely azimuthal (Bθ) magnetic field and also in a more general case of a helical magnetic field, having two components, under conditions such that the charge separation occurs on a spatial scale on the order of the magnetic Debye radius rB ? |B|/(4πene. It is shown that strong electric fields generated in the current filaments are comparable in magnitude to the atomic field and are capable of accelerating ions to energies of several tens of megaelectronvolts. The ion dynamics in strong electric fields of the filaments is calculated numerically and is shown to lead to the formation of collisionless shock waves on time scales on the order of several inverse ion plasma frequencies ω pi ?1 . The possible formation of current filaments on different spatiotemporal scales is considered.  相似文献

DNA–DNA hybridization values between the isolate and other type strains of recognized species of the genus Hoeflea were between 11.8 and 25.2%, which is far below the value of 70% threshold for species delineation. The DNA G?+?C content was 50.3 mol%. The predominant cellular fatty acids of the strain were identified as summed feature 8 (C16:1 ω7c and/or C16:1 ω6c; 51.5%), C18:1 ω7c 11-methyl (20.7%), C16:0 (17.2%) and C18:0 (5.7%). The major respiratory quinone was Q-10. Based on the 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis, the nearest phylogenetic neighbors of strain Y49T were Corynebacterium efficiens DSM 44549T (97.5%), Corynebacterium callunae DSM 20147T (97.2%), Corynebacterium deserti GIMN 1.010T (96.8%), Corynebacterium glutamicum ATCC 13032T (96.4%), and other species belonging to this genus (92.3–95.4%). The DNA-DNA relatedness value between strain Y49T and C. efficiens DSM 44549T, C. callunae DSM 20147T, C. deserti GIMN1.010T, and C. glutamicum ATCC 13032T was 25.5±2.0%, 21.1±1.0%, 16.5±0.5%, and 13.5±0.9%, respectively. Based on the phylogenetic analysis, chemotaxonomic data, physiological characteristics and DNA-DNA hybridization data, strain Y49T represents a novel species of the genus Corynebacterium, for which the name Corynebacterium defluvii sp nov. is proposed. The type strain is Y49T (= KCTC 39731T =CGMCC 1.15506T).  相似文献
