In 3 dogs with implanted electrodes, in conditioned experiments correlation of the bioelectrical processes was studied by coherence function calculation of the hippocampus, hypothalamus, amygdala and frontal cortex biopotentials. It was shown, that the level of maximum values of coherence function of bioelectrical oscillations, led from various pairs of the studied brain structures significantly differed both in magnitude and frequency at which the greatest synchronization of biopotentials was noticed. In one dog with a high degree of connection between the hippocampus and hypothalamus biopotentials oscillations, a low synchronization of the frontal cortex and amygdala oscillations was found; in two other animals with a higher level of coherence between the oscillations of the frontal cortex and amygdala biopotentials, a lower degree of connection between the oscillations led from the hippocampus and hypothalamus was revealed. Synchronization of the biopotentials of the hippocampus and frontal cortex and also of the hippocampus and amygdala biopotentials proved to be low in all experimental dogs, what additionally testifies to different role of these structures in organization of the behaviour.  相似文献

The present study showed that glomerulopressin decreased ovarian blood flow in normal dogs and that this effect could be inhibited by treatment with indomethacin. In addition diabetic dogs had a high plasma level of glomerulopressin and a low ovarian blood flow that was shown to increase after treatment with indomethacin. This suggests that the low ovarian blood flow in diabetis might be due to a prostaglandin synthesizing effect of glomerulopressin.  相似文献

The endogenous peptides somatostatin and secretin are effective in the therapy of upper gastrointestinal tract bleeding and acute pancreatitis. The clinical effects may be partly brought about by changes in the regional blood flow. To evaluate the effects of somatostatin (50 and 100 μg/min over 6–8 min) and secretin (0.1 and 0.5 U · kg?1 · min?1 over 3–5 min) on tissue blood flow, particularly of the gastrointestinal tract, the tracer microsphere reference sample method was used in anesthetized dogs.Infusion of somatostatin significantly diminished gastric and pancreatic blood flow whereas no changes of duodenal and ileal blood flow could be obtained. Blood flow through spleen, kidneys and adrenal glands was increased but no changes were observed in the blood flow of other tissues. Cardiac hemodynamics remained unchanged.Secretin increased the blood flow of the duodenum, the kidneys and the adrenal glands and diminished gastric blood flow without changing pancreatic, ileal, hepatic, pulmonary and muscle blood flow. Cerebral, pituitary and myocardial blood flow was increased by a higher dose of secretin. It also evoked a slight but significant positive ino- and chronotropic effect. Since secretin and somatostatin differ in their respective effects on gastrointestinal blood flow it is suggested that the previously reported beneficial effects of both peptides on upper gastrointestinal bleeding cannot solely be attributed to changes in regional blood flow.  相似文献

In the experiment performed on 238 non-inbred white mice it has been demonstrated that after trauma in the concha auricularis population density (PD) of immune-competent cells in the germinative center (GC) and in the crown of the regional lymph node (LN) changes. The PD of small lymphocytes increases, and the PD of mitotically dividing cells, immunoblasts, plasmoblasts, immature and mature plasmocytes decreases sharply in both zones. The increase of small lymphocytes PD in the regional LN after the trauma is obviously connected with intensification of their inflow from the lesion focus. Inhibition of proliferation and differentiation of the immune-competent cells in the GC of the crown is a response to the operation stress. During the posttraumatic period both spectral composition and parameters of the constituents of rhythmical alteration of the cells PD change both in the GC and in the crown. As a rule, displacement of acrophase and decrease in amplitude of the rhythm take place. Total power of the process for various types of immune-competent cells alters unequally. In the spectral composition of the rhythmicity amount of circadian components increases, their power increases, too. This demonstrates an increase of central hormonal effects during the posttraumatic period. After trauma fluctuations of the cells PD of the plasmacytic line, as well as in mitotically dividing cells with a 7-hour's period, which has been revealed in intact animals before the trauma, are preserved. This demonstrates a relative independence of the given synchronizer of rhythmicity at a tissue level from any influence of the higher regulatory center.  相似文献

The effect of irradiation of the central nervous system by microwaves (MW) at a frequency of 2450 MHz and power 5-40 W on the regulation of cerebral circulation and oxygen supply to the nervous tissue were studied in rabbits. Local irradiation of the exposed cerebral cortex resulted in hyperemia and hyperoxia in the zone of exposure induced by the hyperthermal effect of MW. When the region of the medulla oblongata was irradiated even with low MW power (not leading to hyperthermia), the local circulation and oxygen tension increased in the whole brain, apparently due to the impairment of the regulation of the cerebral blood flow and oxygen supply to the brain tissue.  相似文献

An anatomical investigation of extraorganic lymphatic vessels and regional renal lymph nodes has been performed in 70 dogs. The regional lymph nodes in the right kidney are stated to be quantitatively constant, as well as cranial and caudal lateroaortal lymph nodes in the left kidney in regard to the middle left lateroaortal nodes, that get lymph from the left kidney parenchyma. One middle left lateroaortal lymph node is found in 47 animals examined, two lymph nodes--in 17 animals. In 6 cases a lymphatic vessel, that gets lymph from the renal parenchyma and independently runs into the cistern of the thoracic duct is found for the first time. The variant revealed is an exception from the rule known in lymphology: lymph in its way from periphery to the central collector runs, at least, through one lymph node.  相似文献

This is a study on the effect of cooling and heating amniotic fluid on blood flow to fetal tissues and organs. In 8 unanaesthetized, chronically-catheterised fetal sheep (129-137 days gestation) cold or warm water was passed through tubing encircling the fetus in utero and blood flow was measured using the radionuclide-labelled 15 mu spheres. Following cooling for 30 min, amniotic fluid temperature fell 9.6 degrees C to 29.9 +/- 2.1 degrees C (SEM) fetal arterial temperature fell 2.37 degrees C to 37.30 +/- 0.36, and maternal arterial temperature fell 0.53 degrees C to 38.58 +/- 0.16. Blood flow through the fetal skin fell 60% (P less than 0.01) to 13.6 ml/min per 100 g tissue. Blood flow to the brown fat increased 186% (P less than 0.05) to 99.6 ml/min per 100 g. Following warming for 20 min, fetal temperature rose to 40.43 +/- 0.19 degrees C, and skin blood flow did not change significantly relative to initial control period but rose 200% above that during cooling (P less than 0.01). During both cooling and heating, blood flow to the adrenals rose significantly (P less than 0.05) whereas flow to the carcass, brain, kidneys, and placenta was not altered detectably. Continuous sampling of blood from the inferior vena cava during microsphere injection failed to detect any evidence of arterio-venous shunting through the skin at any temperature studied. Overall, the blood flow responses are consistent with a thermoregulatory role for the skin and brown fat in the near-term fetal sheep.  相似文献

Pulmonary artery constriction (PAC), a model of right ventricular (RV) pressure overload, flattens or inverts the septum and may flatten the left ventricular (LV) free wall. Finite element (FE) analysis predicts that such deformations may cause substantial compression. This study tests the hypothesis that deformation-induced myocardial compressive stress impedes coronary blood flow (CBF). Colored microspheres ( approximately 2 x 10(6)) were injected into the left atrium of 13 open-chest, anesthetized dogs under control conditions and during PAC, which decreased the end-diastolic transseptal pressure gradient (LV - RV) from 1.6 +/- 1.3 to -3.4 +/- 1.7 mmHg. Septal and LV deformation was assessed with the use of two-dimensional echocardiography, and by FE analysis, the hydrostatic component of stress was assessed. Postmortem, a 2.5-cm wide, LV equatorial ring was divided into 16 endocardial and epicardial samples. PAC decreased CBF in the FE-predicted compression zones, areas with the greatest compression having the greatest reductions in CBF. During PAC, compression reached a maximum of 25.3 +/- 1.8 mmHg on the (LV) endocardial sides of the RV insertion points, areas that saw CBF decrease from 1.05 +/- 0.08 to 0.68 +/- 0.05 ml.min(-1).g(-1) (P < 0.001), more than 30%. CBF decreased (from 1.08 +/- 0.07 to 0.81 +/- 0.07 ml.min(-1).g(-1); P < 0.001) on the RV side of the midseptum, an area with as much as 16.0 +/- 1.0 mmHg of compression. Overall, average compressions of 10 mmHg decreased CBF by approximately 30%. We conclude that acute RV pressure overload deforms the septum and LV and induces compressive stresses that reduce CBF substantially. This may help explain why some patients with pulmonary hypertension and no critical coronary disease have chest discomfort indistinguishable from angina pectoris.  相似文献

The contribution of adenosine to hindlimb blood flow autoregulation during treadmill exercise or the administration of 2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP) was evaluated in 9 conscious dogs by determining hindlimb vascular bed pressure-flow relationships in the presence and absence of the adenosine receptor site antagonist, aminophylline. Hindlimb pressure-flow relationships were obtained by measuring blood flow during stepwise reductions in perfusion pressure produced with an occlusion cuff located distal to a flow probe on the external iliac artery. The efficiency of autoregulation was quantitated by calculating the closed-loop gain of flow regulation (Gc) at each pressure decrement utilizing the equation Gc = 1 - (% delta flow/% delta pressure). A Gc of one represents perfect autoregulation of flow, and a Gc of zero is indicative of a rigid system. During exercise, Gc averaged 0.44 +/- 0.07. Aminophylline reduced the Gc during exercise to -0.07 +/- 0.06 (P less than 0.05). During DNP administration, Gc averaged 0.54 +/- 0.09 and declined to -0.09 +/- 0.10 in the presence of aminophylline (P less than 0.05). These results support the hypothesis that adenosine is a primary mediator of hindlimb blood flow autoregulation during conditions that increase hindlimb metabolism.  相似文献
