An experiment was conducted in the growth chamber to quantify the biomass production, N removal and N2 fixation from a synthetic medium by Chlamydomonas reinhardtii and Anabaena flos-aquae. Nitrogen was supplied at a concentration of 100 mg liter−1 of NO315N and NH4+15 (3·5 atom %), respectively. After 21 days Chlamydomonas reinhardtii removed an average of 83·8 and 78·7 mg N liter−1 as NO3 and NH4+, respectively. Averages of 0·89 and 0·71 g liter−1 (first batch), 1·63 and 0·95 g liter (second batch) algal biomass were collected from NO3 and NH4+ media, respectively. Uptake rates of 0·11 mg 15N g−1 algae day−1 from NO3 medium and 0·10 mg 15N g−1 algae day−1 from NH4+ medium were calculated. Algal cells grown in NO3 and NH4+ medium contained 71 and 65 g N kg−1 (first batch), 39 and 58 g N kg−1 (second batch), respectively. Anabaena flos-aquae produced averages of 0·58 and 0·46 g liter−1 (first batch), 0·55 and 0·48 g liter−1 (second batch) after 14 days of growth from NO3 and NH4+ media, respectively. Blue-green algal biomass contained higher N (81–98 g kg−1) than green algae. Isotope dilution method for determining N2 fixation indicated that 55% and 77% of total N of blue-green algae grown in NO3 and NH4+ media, respectively, was derived from the atmosphere.  相似文献

A new anticoagulant rodenticide, flocoumafen, at a concentration of 0·005% in the bait in 24 h no-choice and 48 h choice laboratory feeding tests was found to cause 100% mortality of the Indian bush rat Golunda ellioti, the Indian gerbil Tatera indica and the soft-furred field rat Rattus meltada. In field trials in sugar cane and wheat, where these species and the Indian mole rat Bandicota bengalensis and Mus spp. were present, about 65% rodent control was obtained with a single treatment with 0·005% flucoumafen bait at the rate of 1 kg/ha. The performance of a single treatment with flocoumafen was comparable with that of 2·4% zinc phosphide, a conventional acute rodenticide. Unlike zinc phosphide, however, two treatments with a 10-day interval with flocoumafen resulted in significantly higher rodent control compared with the single treatment, indicating the superiority of flocoumafen over zinc phosphide in repeat baiting treatments.  相似文献

Tolypocladium inflatum strains are known to produce Cyclosporin-A under submerged culture conditions. In the present study solid state fermentation was used to produce Cyclosporin-A. Tolypocladium inflatum strains when grown on moist wheat bran produced 310–459 mg of Cyclosporin-A kg of bran−1. Tolypocladium inflatum ATCC 34921 which produced 459 mg of Cyclosporin-A kg of bran−1 was improved to produce 1031±27 mg of Cyclosporin-A kg−1 of bran, by subjecting the spores to different mutagenic treatments. The mutated strain, designated Tolypocladium inflatum DRCC 106, produced 4843 mg kg−1 of bran under optimum fermentation conditions in 10 days when grown on wheat bran medium containing millet flour 20%, jowar flour 10%, zinc sulphate 0·15%, ferric chloride 0·25% and cobaltous chloride 0·05%. An inoculum of 60% initial moisture content 70%, initial bran pH 2·0 and incubation temperature 25°C were found to be optimal. Cyclosporin-A thus obtained was purified by solvent extraction, followed by column chromatography. The isolated product complies with the United States Pharmacopoeia specifications.  相似文献

Arsenic (As) accumulation and photosynthesis occur simultaneously in plants under As exposure. We investigated the effects of As and induced-phytoextraction methods on photosynthesis in two As hyperaccumulators (Pteris vittata and Pteris cretica var. nervosa) and two non-hyperaccumulators (Pteris semipinnata and Pteris ensiformis) under soil culture conditions. Chlorophyll fluorescence parameters (the maximum [Fv/Fm] and actual quantum efficiency [FPSII]) and the activities of three photosynthetic enzymes (ATPase, ribulose-1, 5-bisphosphate carboxylase [RuBPC] and glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase [GAPDH]) were measured. Arsenic accumulation and photosynthetic behaviours in response to enhanced-phytoextraction methods (trans-1, 2-cyclobexylenedinitrilotetraacetic acid [CDTA] and phosphorous [P] addition and soil pH adjustment) of P. cretica and P. semipinnata were monitored and compared under conditions of 100 mg As kg−1. Significant decreases in the Fv/Fm (19.9%) and FPSII (36.1%) were observed in P. vittata when exposed to 100 mg As kg−1 in comparison to the control (0 mg As kg−1). Compared to the control (0 mg As kg−1), the activities of GAPDH increased by 0.5% in P. cretica var. nervosa and decreased by only 8.3% in P. vittata even when both of them were treated with 200 mg As kg−1, whereas a significant decrease, 56.1% and 51.7%, of this enzyme was observed in P. semipinnata and P. ensiformis, respectively, when exposed to 50 mg As kg−1. Compared to the control (0 mg CDTA kg−1 or 0 mg P kg−1), the activities of ATPase increased by 53.7% and 82.7% in P. cretica when exposed to 0.5 g CDTA kg−1 and 50 mg P kg−1, respectively, and an increase of up to 175% was also observed in P. semipinnata when exposed to 600 mg P kg−1. The activities of GAPDH increased by 68.9% and 90.7% in P. cretica when exposed to 2 g CDTA kg−1 and 600 mg P kg−1, respectively, but a decrease of up to 60% was observed in P. semipinnata when exposed to 2 g CDTA kg−1. The uptake of As in P. semipinnata increased by 80.9% and 73.3% when 1 g CDTA kg−1 and 600 mg P kg−1 were added, respectively, compared to the control (0 g CDTA kg−1 or 0 mg P kg−1). It was concluded that GAPDH played an important role in the photosynthesis of As hyperaccumulators under As treatments.  相似文献

Nutrient regeneration and respiration rates of natural zooplankton from a tropical reservoir were experimentally measured. Excretion rates of ammonia (Ea), orthophosphate (Ep) and community respiration rates (R) were estimated considering the variations in the concentrations of ammonia, orthophosphate and dissolved oxygen between control and experimental units. The ranges obtained for these rates from the 2 h assays were Ea = 1.95–4.95 μg N-NH4 · mg · DW−1 · h−1; Ep = 0.12–0.76 μg P-PO4 mg DW−1 · h−1. Respiratory rates were quite constant (R = 0.01–0.02 mg O2 · mg DW−1 · h−1). The uptake of nutrients due to bacteria can affect the experimental determination of excretion rates of zooplankton. Orthophosphate release increased from 0.28 to 0.82 μg P-PO4 · mg DW−1 · h−1 when bacterial activity was depleted by antibiotic addition in experimental vessels (Exp IV). This demonstrates that free living bacteria are able to consume promptly most phosphorus excreted by zooplankton. Ammonia excretion rates were lower in experimental units containing antibiotics. Lower excretion rates were also obtained with longer exposure times and higher biomass levels in the experimental units. Finally, this study also showed that zooplankton excretion can affect significantly turn over rates of total phosphorus in Pampulha Reservoir. In some periods, specially during the dry season when zooplankton biomass was very high, phosphorus release by zooplankton, during one single day, can be as high as 40% of the total phosphorus content in lake water (Turn over time = 2.5 days).  相似文献

The LD50 of roselle calyx extract and its effect on blood pressure were determined. The LD50 was found to be above 5000 mg kg−1. Roselle calyx infusion was found to lower significantly (p<0·05) both systolic and diastolic pressure in spontaneously hypertensive and normotensive Wistar–Kyoto rats at tested doses of 500 and 1000 mg kg−1 body weight. The reduction in blood pressure in both groups was positively correlated with weight. Continuous consumption of the infusion at 1000 mg kg−1 was discovered to lead to sudden death in spontaneously hypertensive rats but not in Wistar‐Kyoto rats. Water intake was not significantly different (p>0·05) in the control groups of the two strains of rats used, neither was there a significant difference in their urine output. The water intake in the treated spontaneously hypertensive and normotensive rats was not different from the corresponding control groups. However the urine output of the treated spontaneously hypertensive rats was significantly higher. A significant decrease in serum creatinine, cholesterol, and glucose in the treated rats compared with the control as well as a significant increase in serum uric acid was observed. Simultaneous exposure to cocaine and ethanol results in the formation of cocaethylene, an active metabolite of cocaine. The concurrent abuse of both cocaine and ethanol is common during human pregnancy, but the kinetics of elimination and formation of this ethyl ester of cocaine have not been studied during pregnancy in any species. In the late gestation guinea pig (61 to 63 days), cocaethylene, at doses of 2 to 4 mg · kg−1, is rapidly eliminated with a half-life of 29 min and a total body clearance of 77 ml · min−1 · kg−1. It is formed enzymatically by hepatic microsomal preparations from fetal, neonatal and maternal guinea pigs. The maximum rate of cocaethylene production (apparent Vmax) when either ethanol or cocaine are varied while the other substrate is held constant, increases with age, from the late fetal period (65 days gestation, term 70 days) to adulthood. However, the Michaelis-Menten constant (apparent KM) does not change with age. The rapid elimination of cocaethylene, coupled with the slow rate of formation (apparent Vmax of 140 pmol · min−1 · mg microsomal protein−1) and the small amount of plasma analyzed most likely explains the inability to detect cocaethylene in vivo after concomitant cocaine and ethanol administration.  相似文献

Pistia stratiotes, an aquatic weed, was investigated as a substrate for biogas production. Experiments were carried out as batch runs in laboratory-scale digesters with the addition of inoculum (digested cattle manure). Gas yields were in the range of 533–707 litres kg−1 VS (STP), respectively, 21–28 litres kg−1 fresh weight of P. stratiotes, with 30 days digestion time at temperatures of 29·5, 33·0 and 37·5°C. The average methane content was 58–68%. Due to its high biodegradability (approximately 83–99% of VS) Pistia stratiotes is very suitable as a substrate for biogas production.  相似文献

A field experiment was conducted at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) Center, Patancheru, India to study photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) interception and dry matter production relationships in pearl millet (Pennisetum americanum (L.) Leeke). Two pearl millet genotypes, BJ 104 (G1) and ICH 226 (G2) were sown at three planting geometries obtained by using combinations of row and plant spacings (S1: 37·5 cm × 26·6 cm; S2: 75·0 cm × 13·3 cm; S3: 150·0 cm × 6·6 cm) such that plant population was constant at 100 000 ha−1 in all treatments. Cumulative intercepted PAR was maximum (330 MJ m−2) in G2S2 and minimum (268 MJ m−2) in G1S3. Conversion efficiency values ranged from 1·87 g MJ−1 in G1S2 to 2·32 g MJ−1 in G2S3. Final above-ground dry matter followed the pattern of cumulative intercepted PAR and maximum dry matter (7·22 Mg ha−1) was produced by G2S2 while G1S3 produced minimum dry matter (4·97 Mg ha−1).  相似文献

Three parallel laboratory reactors, R1, R2 and R3, received food industry wastewater: R1 unadulterated; R2 supplemented with calcium and phosphate; R3 supplemented with ferric chloride and traces of nickel and cobalt. Reactors were packed with active granular sludge from a large scale pilot reactor treating the same wastewater. Addition of calcium and phosphate was found to be detrimental to the granule formation at naturally established reactor pH = 6·9–7·4 in R2 while iron promoted granulation in R3. Conditions of upflow velocities of 1·5–6 m h−1, rapid increase of loads up to 15 kg COD m−3 day−1 and ratios of recycle to raw waste feed of 20:1–80:1 were imposed on all reactors. The granules in R1 and R2 disintegrated, from 70–100 g liter−1 VSS to a flocculant sludge at 1·5–3 g liter−1. In spite of such severe washout, reactors R1 and R2 were able to maintain a steady COD removal of over 90% at a load of 10kg m−3 day−1. R3 retained a VSS concentration around 100 g liter−1 and maintained COD removal at over 95%. R3 exhibited a more stable performance and was less vulnerable to the shock treatment to which all reactors were subjected.  相似文献

The present experiment was conducted to study effects of Cu, Fe and Zn on activities of digestive enzymes of the hybrid tilapia Oreochromis niloticus×Oreochromis aureus. The acidic protease activities increased 65·5 and 55·1% by addition of homogenates of digesta‐containing stomach with copper (75 mg l−1) and zinc (50 mg l−1) respectively. Addition of Cu and Zn increased the activities of protease in the hepatopancreas homogenates by 132·7 and 38·1% respectively, and reduced the activity of protease in the digesta‐containing intestine homogenates by 11·0 and 13·8% respectively. Addition of Fe (50 mg l−1) increased the acidic protease activity by 96·7% but did not alter the activities of protease in the intestine and hepatopancreas. Addition of Cu markedly inhibited activities of amylase in intestine and hepatopancreas homogenates, while Zn addition showed no effects. Addition of Fe reduced activities of amylase in the intestine homogenates by 47·9% but had no effect on amylase activities in the hepatopancreas. When Cu (75 mg kg−1), Fe (50 mg kg−1) and Zn (50 mg kg−1) were supplemented to basal diet for 3 weeks, the activities of amylase in hepatopancreas homogenates increased 125·3, 215·6 and 70·0%, respectively, the activities of amylase in intestine increased 79·8, 74·6 and 48·5%, respectively, and the activities of lipase in intestine increased 90·5, 149·8 and 84·0%, respectively. Supplementation of Cu, Fe or Zn into diet had no effects on activity of protease in all digestive organs. Therefore, the results suggest that effects of Cu, Fe and Zn on activity of digestive enzymes in vitro were different from those seen in vivo, and that the positive effects of Cu, Fe and Zn supplemented to fish diet would be valuable information for formulating fish feed.  相似文献

The influence of initial glucose concentrations on the production of biomass and lutein by Chlorella protothecoides CS-41 was investigated in batch cultures using both shake flasks and fermentors. The maximum biomass concentration increased from 4·9 to 31·2 g litre−1 dry cells with an increase in initial glucose concentration from 10 to 80 g litre−1. An even higher initial glucose concentration (100 g litre−1) resulted in a lower biomass concentration, a lower specific growth rate, a lower growth yield coefficient and a considerably longer lag phase, which might be due to substrate inhibition. The initial glucose level also had a significant effect on the production of lutein. In a 3·7-litre fermentor an increase in lutein production from 19·39 to 76·56 mg litre−1 was obtained with an increase in initial glucose concentration from 10 to 40 g litre−1, within which range, lutein yield coefficient was constant (YItn=1·90±0·02 mg g−1). A simple substrate inhibition model was developed, which fitted the experimental data better than the classical Haldane model. A group of time-dependent kinetic models for algal cultivation in fermentors were also constructed, which were in good agreement with the experimental results and could be employed to predict the production of biomass and lutein, and the consumption of glucose in fermentor cultures.  相似文献

A full-scale, completely-mixed digester, with a liquid capacity of 587 m3, was constructed to process the manure from 70 000 caged layers. Biogas from the digester was used as fuel for an engine/generator set. The operating temperature was maintained at 35°C using waste heat from the engine. The digester was operated on a 22–24 day HRT. Digester influent averaged 5·90% TS, 5250 ppm TKN, and 3790 ppm NH3N. Digester effluent averaged 3·11% TS, 5090 ppm TKN, and 4060 ppm NH3N.Sustained operation of the digester was achieved during the period of study (8/83−4/85). During this period biogas production averaged 0·38 m3 kg−1 VS added (0·58 m3 kg−1 VS destroyed). The CH4 content averaged 58·0%. The major operational problem encountered was grit accumulation in the digester. This problem was reduced by settling most of the grit from the manure prior to the digester. Biogas production was reduced when concentrated lagoon-liquid was used as make-up water. Approximately 22% of the electricity produced was required for operating the system.  相似文献

It is generally accepted that hypertension and other vascular pathologies increase in diabetes mellitus (DM) patients as a result of the renin–angiotensin–aldosterone (RAA) system. In this study, changes in the renin‐angiotensin‐aldosterone (RAA) system level was determined in Streptozotocin (STZ)‐injected rats. A total of 46 female Wistar albino rats (180–220 g body weight) was utilized in these experiments. STZ was given intraperitoneally to induce diabetes in rats. Streptozotocin (60 mg kg−1 body weight) was dissolved in 0·1 m citrate–‐phosphate buffer (pH 4–5). The non‐diabetic rats were injected with sterilized buffer alone to act as a control group. Blood glucose levels were 398±8·2 mg dl−1, 488±11·75 mg dl−1 and 658±29·6 mg dl−1 at days 3, 12 and 30 respectively. The level of plasma renin activity (PRA) was measured as 7·69±1·07 ng ml−1 h−1; 1·82±0·22 ng ml−1 h−1 and 0·67±0·12 ng ml−1 h−1 at days 3, 12 and 30, respectively. These values showed that the PRA levels are decreased with increased time period. Serum angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE, E.C. 3.4.15.1) levels were increased at days 12 and 30 (p<0·05 and p<0·005), whereas serum aldosterone levels were increased at days 3 and 12 (p<0·05). The level of urea and creatinine increased at days 12 and 30 (p<0·05 and p<0·005, respectively) when compared to the control group. The data from these experiments indicate that the PRA level decreased whereas ACE activity level increased in diabetic rats compared with the control. Aldosterone levels increased at the first stage of the experiment, but then decreased by the end of the experiment as a result of changes in renin and ACE levels. Effects of temperature and dehydration on the efficiency of electron transfer from membrane-bound high-potential cytochromes ch to the reaction-center bacteriochlorophyll (P-890) in Ectothiorhodospira shaposhnikovii have been studied. A kinetic analysis of the cytochrome oxidation suggests that there are at least two conformational states of the ch-P-890 complex, of which only one allows photoinduced electron transfer from cytochrome to P-890+. Lowering the temperature of dehydration leads to a change in the proportion of the populations in the two conformations. The observed 2-fold deceleration of cytochrome oxidation can be related only to the diminution of the amount of photoactive cytochromes per reaction center. The rate constant for the transfer of an electron from cytochrome ch to bacteriochlorophyll is 2.8 · 105 s−1 and is independent of temperature and dehydration (as estimated within the accuracy of the experiments). The effects produced by low temperature and dehydration are completely reversible. The thermodynamic parameters of the transition of the cytochrome from the nontransfer to electron-transfer conformation were estimated. For room temperature (+ 20°C) in chromatophore preparations, ΔG = −5.4 kJ · M−1, ΔH = 60 kJ · M−1, ΔS = 0.22 kJ · M−1 · K−1. For Triton X-100 subchromatophore preparations, the absolute values of the above parameters are significantly lower: ΔG = −2.8 kJ · M−1, ΔH = 18 kJ · M−1, and ΔS = 0.075 kJ · M−1 · K−1. To a larger extent, the above parameters are diminished for chromatophore preparations in an 80% glycerol solution: ΔG = −1.7 kJ · M−1, ΔH = 6 kJ · M−1, ΔS = 0.025 kJ · M−1 · K−1. The data suggest the hydrophobic character of the forces that maintain the P-890-ch complex in the electron-transfer conformation. The results obtained suggest that electron tunneling within the complex cannot occur until a specific conformational configuration of the complex is formed. The efficiency of cytochrome ch oxidation is determined by the temperature, the degree of dehydration and the environmental conditions, whereas the transfer of an electron itself in the electron-transfer configuration is essentially independent of temperature and hydration.  相似文献

Lake Valencia is heavily polluted by waste water of domestic, agricultural and industrial origin. The high organic load may have produced important changes in the limnological properties. Cyanobacteria dominated in numbers and biomass (over 90% throughout the year). Chlorophyll-a content averaged 37.7 + 15 μg · 1−1. Maximum concentrations of 50–80 μg · 1−1 were found near the inflows affected by organically polluted affluents. There has been a 50% reduction in the euphotic zone in only 13 years. The maximum rate of gross photosynthesis per hour at light saturation was determined within the uppermost 1-meter layer. The highest value was 16,290 mg O2 · m−3 · h−1. Lake Valencia is among the most productive lakes in the world, with areal net photosynthesis averaging 7.5 g C · m−2 · d−1.  相似文献

Spatial variation in growth of stream‐dwelling brown trout Salmo trutta was explored in 13 populations using a long‐term study (1993–2004) in the Bay of Biscay drainage, northern Spain. The high variability in fork length (LF) of S. trutta in the study area was similar to the body‐size range found in the entire European distribution of the species. Mean LF at age varied: 0+ years, 57·4–100·7 mm; 1+ years, 111·6–176·0 mm; 2+ years, 155·6–248·4 mm and 3+ years, 194·3–290·9 mm. Average LF at age was higher in main courses and lower reaches compared with small tributaries and upper reaches. Annual specific growth rates (GL) were: 0+ to 1+ years, 0·634–0·825 mm mm−1 year−1; 1+ to 2+ years, 0·243–0·342 mm mm−1 year−1; 2+ to 3+ years, 0·166–0·222 mm mm−1 year−1, showing a great homogeneity. Regression models showed that water temperature and altitude were the major determinants of LF at age variability within the study area. A broader spatial analysis using available data from stream‐dwelling S. trutta populations throughout Europe indicated a negative relationship between latitude and LF of individuals and a negative interaction between latitude and altitude. These findings support previous evidence of the pervasive role of water temperature on the LF of this species. Altitude appeared as the overall factor that includes the local variation of other variables, such as water temperature or food availability. At a larger scale, latitude was the factor that encompassed these environmental gradients and explained the differences in LF of S. trutta. In summary, LF at age in stream‐dwelling S. trutta decreases with latitude in Europe, the converse of Bergmann's rule.  相似文献

Vertical and near-horizontal (15° angle) packed-bed columns were compared for continuous ethanol fermentation using an alcohol- and glucose-tolerant Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain immobilized on to channeled alumina beads (5·0 × 109 cells g−1 beads). Spaces between beads (1·0–6·5 mm) and angle (15°) of near-horizontal reactor columns (with six ports in each) efficiently removed CO2 and increased ethanol productivity. Malt-glucose-yeast-extract broth containing 16·7% glucose at 35°C fed at a dilution rate of 3· h−1 to thw two horizontal columns (in series) yielded maximum ethanol productivity of 40·0 g liter−1 h−1. Feedstock flow rate and other factors (temperature, pH, nutrients, and glucose levels) affected productivities. The immobilized-cell system showed operational stability for >3 months without plugging, and could be stored for at least one year with no loss of bioreactor performance. Scanning electron micrographs of the beads revealed large numbers of yeast-cells attached on to internal and external surfaces of beads.  相似文献

The fine structure and motility of spermatozoa and the composition of the seminal plasma of the perch Perca fluviatilis are investigated by electron microscopy, computer assisted cell motility analysis (CMA) and biochemical methods. The spermatozoon is asymmetrical as the flagellum inserts mediolateral on the nucleus. It lacks an acrosome, has an ovoid head and a small midpiece with one mitochondrion. Sperm motility–initiated in distilled water (10° C)–is characterized as follows: 85·0 ± 2·7% of the spermatozoa are motile, the main swimming type (10 ± 1 s after motility initiation) is the linear motion (61·4 ± 24·4%) and the average swimming velocity is 122·4 ± 21·9 μm s–1. When motility is initiated with NaCl, glucose or sucrose solutions of 100 mosmol kg–1 the percentage of motile spermatozoa and the swimming types are similar as in water, but the swimming velocity (174·0 ± 22·3 μm s–1) is significantly higher. Motility is inhibited by high osmolality of the diluent: when increasing the osmolality of the saline solutions to 350 mosmol kg–1 sperm motility is totally suppressed while potassium (10–40 mmol 1–1) does not affect motility parameters. pH optimum for sperm motility is between pH 7·0 and 8·5. The seminal fluid contains 124·01 ± 21·68 mmol 1–1 sodium, 10·22 ± 1·11 mmol 1–1 potassium and 0·72 ± 0·26 mmol 1–1 calcium. pH is 8·25 ± 0·09, and osmolality 283·90 ± 37·19 mosmol kg–1. The following organic components were determined: monosaccharides (glucose 63 ± 19 μmol 1–1, fructose 54 ± 28 μmol 1–1, galactose 59 ± 25 μmol 1–1), lipids (cholesterol 5·51 ± 6·42 μmol 1–1, triglycerides 72 ± l00 μmol l–1, cholesteryloleate 15–150 μmol 1–1, phosphatidylcholine 26 · 31 μmol 1–1, glycolipids 1–10 mg 100 m1–1), lactate 108 ± 99 μmol 1–1, hydroxybutyrate 102 ± 99 nmol 1–1, choline 59 ± 159 μmol 1–1, protein 344·75 ± 59·06 mg 100m1–1, enzymes (β-d -glucuronidase l.4 ± 0.7 μmol h–1 100 ml–1, protease (caseolytic activity) 1·0 ± 0·6 μmol h–1 100 ml–1, alkaline phosphatase 2520·0 ± 861·0 μmol h–1 100 ml–1, acid phosphatase 44.0 ± 16.0 μmol h–1 100 ml–1, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase 38·9 ± 86·9 μmol h–1 100 ml–1, lactate dehydrogenase 134·4 ± 69·6 μmol h–1 100 ml–1, butyrylcholine esterase 0·014 ± 0·010 μmol h–1 100 ml–1, adenosine triphosphatase 562·8 ± 665·4 μmol h –1 100 ml–1).  相似文献

Cladophora glomerata grown in continuous-flow culture was found to have optimal specific growth rate (μ) at, or near, 20°C. Specific growth rate increased linearly with increased duration of illumination per day up to 24h, and increased light intensity up to 6000 lx. Undissociated ammoniacal nitrogen (0·185 mg 1-1) reduced μ to 50% of that at 0·010 mg 1-1: 0·077–1·057 mg NO2-N1-1 and 7·2–15·2 mg NO3-N1-1 had no significant effect on μ. At 4·9 mg PO4-P1-1, μ was 48% of that at 1·9 mg1-1. The critical medium PO4-P concentration was less than 0·098 mg1-1. Specific growth rate was reduced to 50% of that in the based medium by 0·036 mg Cu1-1, 0·070 mg Zn1-1 and 1·03 mg Pb1-1. Results are discussed in the context of the natural distribution of the alga in the field situation.  相似文献
