Two new mononuclear Mn(II) complexes, Mn(dmbpy)2(OCN)2 (1) and Mn(dmbpy)2(dca)2 (2) (dmbpy = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine, dca = dicyanamide), have been synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, and single crystal X-ray analysis. Both complexes have similar molecular structures. The coordination sphere of the Mn(II) ion in 1 or 2 is a seriously distorted octahedron formed by two dmbpy ligands and two OCN or dca anions in cis positions. For both complexes, the most striking feature is that the mononuclear molecules are linked together by plentiful weak C-H?N hydrogen bonds into a compact 3D supramolecular structure. DNA cleavage studies show that the complexes can promote plasmid DNA cleavage in the presence of H2O2 under physiological conditions, and their cleavage activities are obviously both pH value and complex concentration-dependent. The cleavage mechanism between the complexes and plasmid DNA is likely to involve hydroxyl radicals as reactive oxygen species.  相似文献

Two new coordination polymers [Cd(dps)2Cl2] (1) and [Co(dps)2(H2O)2]·(abs)2(H2O)2 (2) (dps = 4, 4′-dipyridylsulfide, Habs = 4-amino benzenesulfonic acid) have been synthesized under similar conditions and characterized by elemental analysis, fluorescence spectra and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 displays a dps-bridged 2D puckered, grid-like layer, which is further linked by C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds to form a 3D supramolecular architecture. Compound 2 shows a dps-bridged double-stranded chain structure, which is extended by N-H?O and O-H?O hydrogen bonds generating a 3D network. Solid-state fluorescence results reveal that both complexes can emit strong emission bands, at 467 nm and 518 nm for 1 and 344 nm for 2, respectively. Magnetic measurements show that there are weak antiferromagnetic interactions between the adjacent Co(II) ions in 2.  相似文献

Due to the better solubility of the 4,4′-substituted bipyridine ligand a series of 4,4′-bis(tert-butyl)-2,2′-bipyridinedichlorometal(II) complexes, [M(tbbpy)Cl2], with M = Cu, Ni, Zn, Pd, Pt was synthesised and characterised. The blue copper complex 4,4′-bis(tert-butyl)-2,2′-bipyridinedichlorocopper(II) was isolated in two different polymorphic forms, as prisms 1 with a solvent inclusion and solvent-free as needles 2. Both structures were determined by X-ray structure analysis. They crystallise in the monoclinic space group P21/c with four molecules in the unit cell, but with different unit cells and packing motifs. Whereas in the prisms 1, with the unit cell parameters a = 12.1613(12), b = 10.6363(7), c = 16.3074(15) Å, β = 94.446(8)°, the packing is dominated by intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds, in the needles 2, with a = 7.738(1), b = 18. 333(2), c = 13.291(3) Å, β = 97.512(15)°, only intramolecular hydrogen bonds appear and the complex molecules are arranged in columns which are stabilised by π-π-stacking interactions. In both complexes the copper has a tetrahedrally distorted coordination sphere. These copper complexes were also studied by EPR spectroscopy in solution, as frozen glass and diamagnetically diluted powder with the analogue [Pd(tbbpy)Cl2] as host lattice.  相似文献

By the reactions of Cu(AcO)2·H2O and Cu(HCOO)2·4H2O with 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine and 5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine the compounds [Cu(AcO)2(4,4′-Me2-2,2′-bipy)]·1/2H2O (1), [Cu(AcO)2(5,5′-Me2-2,2′-bipy)(H2O)] (2), [Cu(HCOO)(μ-HCOO)(4,4′-Me2-2,2′-bipy)]n·nH2O (3) and [Cu(HCOO)(μ-HCOO)(5,5′-Me2-2,2′-bipy)]n·2nH2O (4) were obtained. In the acetate complexes, 1 and 2, the geometry around copper is distorted octahedral and square pyramidal, respectively. Dimeric units of different geometry are formed in both cases through hydrogen bonds in which non-coordinated (in 1) and coordinated (in 2) water molecules are involved. The structures of 3 and 4 consist of polymeric monodimensional chains of square pyramidal copper units linked by axial-equatorial syn-anti (3) or anti-anti (4) bridging formate groups. Water molecules form hydrogen bonds with formate groups of the same chain in compound 3. In compound 4 the water molecules link the polymeric contiguous chains of complex through hydrogen bonds with oxygen atoms of formate groups and they are also linked between them, forming monodimensional water chains which run parallel to the complex chains. Sheets parallel to the ac plane are formed by alternating chains of water and polymeric complex. Magnetic properties and EPR spectra for these compounds have been studied.  相似文献

Four novel nicotinato-copper(II) complexes containing polybenzimidazole and polyamine ligands were synthesized with formula [Cu2(bbma)2(nic)2](ClO4)2·CH3OH·0.5H2O (1), [Cu2(dien)2(nic)2](ClO4)2·2CH3OH (2), [Cu(ntb)(nic)]ClO4·H2O (3) and [Cu(tren)(nic)]BPh4·CH3OH·H2O (4), in which bbma is bis(benzimidazol-2-yl-methyl)amine, dien is diethylenetriamine, ntb is tris(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)amine, tren is tris(2-aminoethyl)amine and nic is nicotinate anion. All of the complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray diffraction analysis. Complexes 1 and 2 contain centrosymmetric dinuclear entity with the two Cu(II) atoms bridged by two nicotinate anions in an anti-parallel mode. The Cu···Cu separation is 7.109 Å for 1 and 6.979 Å for 2. Complexes 3 and 4 are mononuclear with nicotinate coordinated to Cu(II) ion by the carboxylate O atom in 3 and the pyridine N atom in 4. All of the complexes exhibit abundant hydrogen bonds to form 1D chain for 1, 3, 4 and 2D network for 2. Magnetic susceptibility measurements over the 2-300 K range reveal very weak ferromagnetic interaction between the two Cu(II) ions in 1 and antiferromagnetic interaction in 2 mediated by nicotinate ligand, with J value to be 0.15 and −0.19 cm−1, respectively.  相似文献

(ML)2(bipy) complexes (LH2 = thiosemicarbazone of 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine, M = Ni(II), 1, or Cu(II), 2) were synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. Compound 1 possessed porous structure due to peculiarities of crystal packing, whereas 2 formed infinite zig-zag chains with dense non-porous packing. It was shown that 1 absorbed 0.013 cm3/g of methanol vapor in two steps. Complex 1 was diamagnetic; for 2, the dependency of χ versus T could be interpreted by Bleaney-Bowers expression in 20-300 K temperature range (J = −6.8 cm−1, g = 2.07).  相似文献

We report the synthesis of a new ligand, 4,4′-bis(3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-6,6′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine, optimised for binding to copper(I) and with pendant functionality that can eventually be developed into metallodendritic structures. The synthesis and photophysical properties of complexes with copper(I) and ruthenium(II) are reported. The solid state structure of the complex [Cu(1)2][PF6] · MeCN (1 = 4,4′-bis(3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-6,6′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine) is also described.  相似文献

The reaction of phenyl 2-pyridyl ketoxime (PhPyCNOH) with Cu(NO3)2·3H2O in methanol results in the chiral trinuclear complex [Cu3(OH)(PhPyCNO)3(NO3) (CH3OH)]·(NO3) (1), which has been characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of 1 exhibits a triangle of Cu(II) ions, centered by a triply bridging hydroxo ligand and with three edge-bridging oximate groups from the three PhPyCNO ions. Preliminary variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility studies reveal an antiferromagnetically-coupled system showing antisymmetric exchange. Complex 1 crystallizes in an acentric space group (P21) that belongs to a polar point group, which displays second harmonic generation response and ferroelectric behavior, and provides a new strategy for designing functional coordination complexes.  相似文献

Binuclear cyanate bridged nickel(II) complex [Ni(L)(NCO)]2(PF6)2 (1) and copper(II) complex [Cu(L)(NCO)]2(PF6)2 (2), where L is N,N-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-ylmethyl)aminomethylpyridine, a tetradentate N4-coordinated ligand have been synthesized and characterized by physicochemical method. The structures of complexes 1 and 2 have been studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The structure analysis reveals that both nickel(II) and copper(II) center are coordinated in distorted octahedral fashion and coordination mode of cyanate ligand is end-to-end (μ-1,3) for complex 1 but it is double end-on (μ-1,1) mode for complex 2. The variable temperature magnetic susceptibility data, measured from 2 to 300 K, show weak antiferromagnetic interaction with J value −6.2(1) cm−1 for complex 1, whereas complex 2 has very weak ferromagnetic interaction with J value +0.5(1) cm−1.  相似文献

The reaction of Cu(ClO4)2 · 6H2O with bis(3-aminopropyl)methylamine and sodium dicyanamide in aqueous medium results in the formation of a dimeric dicyanamide complex of Cu(II), [Cu2(medpt)2(dca)2](ClO4)2. The single crystal X-ray structure reveals that the dinuclear entities are extended to form a supramolecular 1D ladder by H-bonding. Each dinuclear entity is joined to the adjacent unit via the perchlorate anion. Variable temperature magnetic study was performed and the best-fit parameters are J = −1.20 ± 0.02 cm−1, g = 2.08 ± 0.01 with R = 2 × 10−5. These clearly indicate the antiferromagnetic interaction between the Cu(II) center.  相似文献

The synthesis, crystal structures and magnetic properties of two different copper(II) complexes of formula [Cu(L1)(dca)]n · nClO4 (1) and [Cu(L2)]2(dca)(ClO4) (2) [L1 = N,N-dimethylethylene-N′-(pyridine-2-carbaldiiminato), HL2 = N,N-dimethylethylene-N′-salicylaldiiminato, dca = dicyanamide anion] are described. Spectroscopic and electrochemical properties have also been discussed. A one-dimensional chain structure with single, symmetrical, μ1,5-dca bridges is found in compound 1. The copper atom in 1 has a square pyramidal geometry. A tridentate Schiff base ligand, having NNN donor sites, and one nitrogen atom from dca occupy the basal plane. N(18) of a neighbouring unit occupies the apical site. The Schiff base used in compound 2 is a tridentate anion with NNO donor sites, which changes the structure in a dinuclear unit of copper atoms bridged by single end-to-end dicyanamide ion. The environment around copper in 2 is square planar. Magnetic susceptibility measurements for 1 and 2 reveal the occurrence of weak antiferromagnetic interaction through the dca ligand.  相似文献

Two mixed-ligand copper(II) complexes [{Cu(L1)(μ1,3-N3)}{Cu(L)(μ1,3-N3)(μ1,1-N3)}]n (1) [HL1 = 1-(N-ortho-hydroxyacetophenimino)-2,2-dimethyl-aminoethane; L = 2-(dimethylamino)-ethylamine] and [{Cu(L2)(μ1,3-N3)}{Cu(L)(μ1,3-N3)(μ1,1-N3)}]n (2) [HL2 = 1-(N-5-methoxy-ortho-hydroxyacetophenimino)-2,2-dimethyl-aminoethane] have been formed upon addition of aqueous solution of sodium azide to a methanolic solution of copper nitrate trihydrate and corresponding Schiff-base ligands. The ligands, HL1 and HL2 undergo partial hydrolysis of their imine bond during the course of reaction. Both the complexes contain single end-to-end (μ1,3) azido bridged 1D infinite chains (rail) which propagate parallel to the crystallographic b-axis; neighboring chains are interconnected by pairs through double asymmetric end-on (μ1,1) azido bridges (rung) to yield a ladder-like structure. In both complexes, rungs (end-on azido bridges) do not connect copper centers of the chains like in a regular ladder; instead they connect only the alternating copper sites of the 1D chain. In a chain the coordination environment around copper(II) ions are not the same: while the {Cu(L1)(μ1,3-N3)} and {Cu(L2)(μ1,3-N3)} moieties have a penta-coordinated copper(II) center, the copper(II) ion of the neighboring {Cu(L1)(μ1,3-N3)(μ1,1-N3)} or {Cu(L2)(μ1,3-N3)(μ1,1-N3)} moiety has an octahedral coordination environment. The variable temperature (2-300 K) magnetic susceptibility measurements showed that the magnetic interaction between the metal centers in complexes 1 and 2 is dominantly antiferromagnetic. The results of magnetic model are in good agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of [In(pbx)3] (1) (Hpbx = 2-(2′-hydroxylphenyl)benzoxazole) are presented. The ground and low lying excited electronic states in 1 are studied using density functional theory level (DFT). The optimized geometry is compared to the experimentally observed structure. Time-dependent density functional theory level (TDDFT) is employed to investigate the excited singlet states. The calculated energies of the low lying singlet states in 1 are in considerable agreement with the experimental data. All the low lying transitions are categorized as π → π∗ ligand-to-ligand charge transfer transitions (LLCT) in nature. The emissive state of 1 is assigned as a singlet metal-perturbed π → π∗ ligand-to-ligand charge transfer transition (LLCT).  相似文献

A metal organic-inorganic coordination framework formulated as {[Cu(4,4′-bipy)(H2O)3(SO4)] · 2H2O}n (1) (where 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine) has been successfully prepared by microwave synthesis. The title complex has been characterized by single crystal X-ray crystallography, FT-IR spectroscopy and thermal analysis. Complex (1) is an one-dimensional (1D) polymer in which 4,4′-bipy acts as a bridging ligand supporting the formation of infinite [Cu(4,4′-bipy)(H2O)3(SO4)] chains. The packing diagram shows that a 3D network is formed via hydrogen bonds. The infrared spectra and thermographic data are consistent with the chemical formula.  相似文献

Three new Fe(II) complexes [Fe(HIM2py)2(SCN)2] (1), [Fe(HIM2py)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (2), and [Fe(HIM2py)2(4,4-bipy)](ClO4)2 · 3CH3CH2OH (3) (4,4-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine, HIM2py = 1-hydroxyl-2(2′-pyridyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazole) have been synthesized and characterized structurally as well as magnetically. The X-ray analysis reveals that HIM2py ligands are coordinated to the metal ions as an unusual six-membered didentate chelate with the κ2N(py), O(HIM) mode. Fe(II) ions in complex 3 are bridged by 4,4-bipy, leading to a 1D chain structure. The magnetic behavior of complex 3 is investigated, showing weak antiferromagnetic interactions.  相似文献

Reaction of Cu(ClO4)2 · 6H2O and pyrazine 2,3-dicarboxylate (pzdc) in aqueous ammonia medium results [Cu(pyrazine 2,3-dicarboxylate)(H2O)2] · H2O (1). The X-ray single crystal structure reveals that the compound is a 1D polymeric sinusoidal infinite chain which through intra- and inter-molecular hydrogen bonding interactions, involving lattice and coordinated water molecules with dicarboxylate oxygens and pyrazine nitrogens, gives rise to a 3D architecture. The variable temperature magnetic measurements show weak antiferromagnetic interactions between the Cu(II) centers. The best fit parameters through the typical equation for a uniform copper (II) chain are: J=−0.25 cm−1, g=2.17, R=1.3×10−6. The EPR spectrum does not alter with temperature (from r.t. to 4 K). The spectra are typical for square-pyramidal geometry of copper(II) ions, g=2.24 and g=2.10 (average g=2.15, in good agreement to the value obtained by susceptibility fit).  相似文献

The syntheses and electrochemical properties of novel ruthenium(II) polypyridyl complexes with 4,4-bipyrimidine, [Ru(trpy)(bpm)Cl](X) ([1](X; X=PF6, BF4)) and with a quaternized 4,4-bipyrimidinium ligand, [Ru(trpy)(Me2bpm)Cl](BF4)3 ([2](BF4)3) (trpy=2,2:6,2″-terpyridine, bpm=4,4-bipyrimidine, Me2bpm=1,1-dimethyl-4,4-bipyrimidinium) are presented. The bpm complex [1]+ was prepared by the reaction of Ru(trpy)Cl3 with 4,4-bipyrimidine in EtOH/H2O. The structural characterization of [1]+ revealed, that the bpm ligand coordinated to the ruthenium atom with the bidentate fashion. Diquaternization of the non-coordinating nitrogen atoms on bpm of [1]+ by (CH3)3OBF4 in CH3CN gave [2](BF4)3. The electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical properties of the complexes are described.  相似文献

A 2D grid-like copper(II) complex [Cu(N3)2(pyz)](pyz = pyrazine) (1) has been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray analysis and magnetic measurements. The 2D grid-like network of 1 consists of 1D chain of Cu-pyz units connected by end-on azido bridge. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2 with a = 15.148(6) Å, b = 6.877(2) Å, c = 3.4591(12) Å and Z = 2. The magnetic investigation showed the presence of an antiferromagnetic interaction between the copper(II) ions mainly mediated through pyrazine bridge.  相似文献

The preparation, crystal structure and variable temperature-magnetic investigation of three 2-(2′-pyridyl)imidazole-containing chromium(III) complexes of formula PPh4[Cr(pyim)(C2O4)2]·H2O (1), AsPh4[Cr(pyim)(C2O4)2]·H2O (2) and [Cr2(pyim)2(C2O4)2(OH2)2]·2pyim · 6H2O (3) [pyim = 2-(2′-pyridyl)imidazole, , and ] are reported herein. The isomorphous compounds are made up of discrete [Cr(pyim)(C2O4)2] anions, cations [X = P (1) and As (2)] and uncoordinated water molecules. The chromium environment in 1 and 2 is distorted octahedral with Cr-N and Cr-O bond distances varying in the ranges 2.040(3)-2.101(3) and 1.941(3)-1.959(3) Å, respectively. The angle subtended by the chromium(III) ion by the two didentate oxalate ligands cover the range 82.49(12)-82.95(12)°, values which are somewhat greater than those concerning the chelating pyim molecule [77.94(13) (1) and 78.50(13)° (2)]. Complex 3 contains discrete centrosymmetric [Cr2(pyim)2(C2O4)2(OH)2] neutral units where the two chromium(III) ions are joined by a di-μ-hydroxo bridge, the oxalate and pyim groups acting as peripheral didentate ligands. Uncoordinated water and pyim molecules are also present in 3 and they contribute to the stabilization of its structure by extensive hydrogen bonding and π-π type interactions. The values of the intramolecular chromium-chromium separation and angle at the hydroxo bridge in 3 are 2.9908(12) Å and 99.60(16)°, respectively. Magnetic susceptibility measurements of 1-3 in the temperature range 1.9-300 K show the occurrence of weak inter- (1 and 2) and intramolecular (3) antiferromagnetic couplings. The magnetic properties of 3 have been interpreted in terms of a temperature-dependent exchange integral, small changes of the angle at the hydroxo bridge upon cooling being most likely responsible for this peculiar magnetic behavior.  相似文献
