The complexes of Cu(I), Cu(II), Ni(II), Zn(II) and Co(II) with a new polypyridyl ligand, 2,3-bis(2-pyridyl)-5,8-dimethoxyquinoxaline (L), have been synthesized and characterized. The crystal structures of these complexes have been elucidated by X-ray diffraction analyses and three types of coordination modes for L were found to exist in them. In the dinuclear complex [Cu(I)L(CH3CN)]2·(ClO4)2 (1), L acts as a tridentate ligand with two Cu(I) centers bridged by two L ligands to form a box-like dimeric structure, in which each Cu(I) ion is penta-coordinated with three nitrogen atoms and a methoxyl oxygen atom of two L ligands, and an acetonitrile. In [Cu(II)L(NO3)2]·CH3CN 2, the Cu(II) center is coordinated to the two nitrogen atoms of the two pyridine rings of L which acts as a bidentate ligand. The structures of [Ni(II)L(NO3)(H2O)2]·2CH3CN·NO3 (3), [Zn(II)L(NO3)2 (H2O)]·2CH3CN (4) and [Co(II)LCl2(H2O)] (5) are similar to each other in which L acts as a tridentate ligand by using its half side, and the metal centers are coordinated to a methoxyl oxygen atom and two bipyridine nitrogen atoms of L in the same side. The formation of infinite quasi-one-dimensional chains (1, 4 and 5) or a quasi-two-dimensional sheet (2) assisted by the intra- or intermolecular face-to-face aryl stacking interactions and hydrogen bonds may have stabilized the crystals of these complexes. Luminescence studies showed that 1 exhibits broad, structureless emissions at 420 nm in the solid state and at 450 nm in frozen alcohol frozen glasses at 77 K. Cyclic voltammetric studies of 1 show the presence of an irreversible metal-centered reduction wave at approximately −0.973 V versus Fc+/0 and a quasi-reversible ligand-centered reduction couple at approximately −1.996 V versus Fc+/0. The solution behaviors of these complexes have been further studied by UV-Vis and ESR techniques.  相似文献

Three new homopolynuclear complexes with azido bridges have been obtained by using [Cu(AA)(BB)]+ building-blocks (AA = acetylacetonate; BB = 1,10-phenanthroline or 2,2′-bipyridine). The reaction between [Cu(acac)(phen)(H2O)](ClO4) and NaN3 leads to a mixture of two compounds: a binuclear complex, [{Cu(acac)(phen)}21,3-N3)](ClO4) · 2H2O (1), and a linear tetranuclear one, [{Cu(acac)(phen)(ClO4)}2{Cu(phen)(μ1,1-N3)2}2] (2). The reaction between [Cu(acac)(bipy)(H2O)](ClO4) and NaN3 affords also a mixture of two compounds: [{Cu(acac)(bipy)}21,3-N3)]3(ClO4)3 · 3.75H2O (3) and [Cu(acac)(bipy)(N3)][Cu(acac)(bipy)(H2O)](ClO4) (4). The X-ray crystal structures of compounds 1-4 have been solved (for compound 4 the crystal structure was previously reported). In compounds 1 and 3, two {Cu(AA)(BB)} fragments are bridged by the azido anion in an end-to-end fashion. Two isomers, cis and trans with respect to azido bridge, were found in crystal 3. The structure of compound 2 consists of two Cu(II) central cations bridged by two μ1,1-azido ligands, each of them being also connected to a {Cu(acac)(phen)} fragment through another μ1,1-azido ligand. The cryomagnetic properties of the compounds 1 and 2 have been investigated and discussed. The magnetic behaviour of compound 1 shows the absence of any interactions between the metallic ions. In the tetranuclear complex 2, the magnetic interactions between the external and central copper(II) ions(J1), and between the central metallic ions (J2) were found ferromagnetic (J1 = 0.36 cm−1, J2 = 7.20 cm−1).  相似文献

Two new tetrahedral tungsten cyanide cluster compounds, [Cu(dien)]3[W4Te4(CN)12] · 9H2O (1) (dien=diethylenetriamine) and [Ni(en)(NH3)]3[W4Se4(CN)12] · 7.5H2O (2) (en=ethylenediamine), were synthesized by treating aqueous solutions of the saltlike cluster compound K6[W4Te4(CN)12] · 5H2O/K6[W4Se4(CN)12] · 6H2O with copper(II)/nickel(II) chloride in aqueous ammonia containing dien/en. The cyano-bridged layered coordination polymeric compounds were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis: monoclinic, space group P21 for 1; trigonal, space group for 2. Structures of 1 and 2 consist of infinite neutral layers of cluster components {W4Te4(CN)12}/{W4Se4(CN)12} connected, one another by {Cu(dien)} or {Ni(en)(NH3)} fragments, respectively.  相似文献

Four new dinuclear Mn(III) compounds have been synthesised: [{Mn(bpy)(H2O)}2(μ-4-ClC6H4COO)2(μ-O)}](ClO4)2 (1), [{Mn(EtOH)(phen)}2(μ-O)(μ-4-ClC6H4COO)2](ClO4)2 (2), [{Mn(bpy)(EtOH)}(μ-4-BrC6H4COO)2(μ-O){Mn(bpy)(ClO4)](ClO4) (3) and [{Mn(H2O)(phen)}2(μ-4-BrC6H4COO)2(μ-O)](ClO4)2 (4). The crystal structures of 2 and 3 are evidence for the tendency of the ethanol and the perchlorate to act as ligands. Due to the coordination of these groups, the environment of the manganese ions is elongated in the monodentate ligand direction, and this distortion is more important when this ligand is the perchlorate. The magnetic properties of the four compounds have been analysed: compounds 1, 3 and 4 show antiferromagnetic behaviour, with J = −6.33 cm−1 for 1, J = −6.76 cm−1 for 3 and J = −3.08 cm−1 for 4 (H = −JS1·S2), while compound 2 shows a very weak ferromagnetic coupling. For this compound, at low temperature the most important effect on the χMT data is the zero-field splitting of the ion, and the best fit was obtained with |DMn| = 2.38 cm−1 and |EMn| = 0.22 cm−1.  相似文献

Ternary l-glutamine (l-gln) copper(II) complexes [Cu(l-gln)(B)(H2O)](X) (B = 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy), , 1; B = 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), , 2) and [Cu(l-gln)(dpq)(ClO4)] (3) (dpq, dipyridoquinoxaline) are prepared and characterized by physicochemical methods. The DNA binding and cleavage activity of the complexes have been studied. Complexes 1-3 are structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The complexes show distorted square pyramidal (4+1) CuN3O2 coordination geometry in which the N,O-donor amino acid and the N,N-donor heterocyclic base bind at the basal plane with a H2O or perchlorate as the axial ligand. The crystal structures of the complexes exhibit chemically significant hydrogen bonding interactions besides showing coordination polymer formation. The complexes display a d-d electronic band in the range of 610-630 nm in aqueous-dimethylformamide (DMF) solution (9:1 v/v). The quasireversible cyclic voltammetric response observed near −0.1 V versus SCE in DMF-TBAP is assignable to the Cu(II)/Cu(I) couple. The binding affinity of the complexes to calf thymus (CT) DNA follows the order: 3 (dpq) > 2 (phen) ? 1 (bpy). Complexes 2 and 3 show DNA cleavage activity in dark in the presence of 3-mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) as a reducing agent via a mechanistic pathway forming hydroxyl radical as the reactive species. The dpq complex 3 shows efficient photo-induced DNA cleavage activity on irradiation with a monochromatic UV light of 365 nm in absence of any external reagent. The cleavage efficiency of the DNA minor groove binding complexes follows the order: 3 > 2 ? 1. The dpq complex exhibits photocleavage of DNA on irradiation with visible light of 647.1 nm. Mechanistic data on the photo-induced DNA cleavage reactions reveal the involvement of singlet oxygen (1O2) as the reactive species in a type-II pathway.  相似文献

Crystallisation of simple cyanoruthenate complex anions [Ru(NN)(CN)4]2− (NN = 2,2′-bipyridine or 1,10-phenanthroline) in the presence of Lewis-acidic cations such as Ln(III) or guanidinium cations results, in addition to the expected [Ru(NN)(CN)4]2− salts, in the formation of small amounts of salts of the dinuclear species [Ru2(NN)2(CN)7]3−. These cyanide-bridged anions have arisen from the combination of two monomer units [Ru(NN)(CN)4]2− following the loss of one cyanide, presumably as HCN. The crystal structures of [Nd(H2O)5.5][Ru2(bipy)2(CN)7] · 11H2O and [Pr(H2O)6][Ru2(phen)2(CN)7] · 9H2O show that the cyanoruthenate anions form Ru-CN-Ln bridges to the Ln(III) cations, resulting in infinite coordination polymers consisting of fused Ru2Ln2(μ-CN)4 squares and Ru4Ln2(μ-CN)6 hexagons, which alternate to form a one-dimensional chain. In [CH6N3]3[Ru2(bipy)2(CN)7] · 2H2O in contrast the discrete complex anions are involved in an extensive network of hydrogen-bonding involving terminal cyanide ligands, water molecules, and guanidinium cations. In the [Ru2(NN)2(CN)7]3− anions themselves the two NN ligands are approximately eclipsed, lying on the same side of the central Ru-CN-Ru axis, such that their peripheries are in close contact. Consequently, when NN = 4,4′-tBu2-2,2′-bipyridine the steric bulk of the t-butyl groups prevents the formation of the dinuclear anions, and the only product is the simple salt of the monomer, [CH6N3]2[Ru(tBu2bipy)(CN)4] · 2H2O. We demonstrated by electrospray mass spectrometry that the dinuclear by-product [Ru2(phen)2(CN)7]3− could be formed in significant amounts during the synthesis of monomeric [Ru(phen)(CN)4]2− if the reaction time was too long or the medium too acidic. In the solid state the luminescence properties of [Ru2(bipy)2(CN)7]3− (as its guanidinium salt) are comparable to those of monomeric [Ru(bipy)(CN)4]2−, with a 3MLCT emission at 581 nm.  相似文献

Three new thiodiacetato-Cu(II) chelates have been synthesized and studied by X-ray crystallography and by thermal, spectral and magnetic methods. [Cu(tda)]n (1) is a 3D-polymer with a pentadentate tda, which acts with a fac-O2 + S(apical)-tridentate chelating conformation and as a twofold anti, syn-μ-η11 carboxylate bridge. In its square pyramidal Cu(II) coordination (type 4 + 1) four O(carboxylate) donors define a close regular square base, but the Cu-S(apical) bond deviates 27.4° from the perpendicular to the mean basal plane. Each anti,syn-bridging carboxylate group exhibits two C-O (average 1.26(1) Å) and two Cu-O bonds (average 1.958(7) Å), which are very similar in length to each other. In contrast, the mixed-ligand complexes of [Cu(tda)(Him)2(H2O)] (compound 2, distorted octahedral, type 4 + 1 + 1) and [Cu(tda)(5Mphen)] · 2H2O (compound 3, distorted square pyramidal, type 4 + 1) have molecular structures and the tda ligand displays only a fac-O2 + S(apical)-tridentate conformation. The Cu-S(apical) bond lengths (2.570(1), 2.623(1) or 2.573(1) Å for 1, 2 or 3, respectively) are shorter than those previously reported for closely related Cu(II)-tda derivatives. The different tda ligand roles in their Cu(II) derivatives are rationalized on the basis of crystal packing forces driving in the absence or presence of auxiliary ligands (with two or three N-donor atoms).  相似文献

Two new ruthenium complexes [Ru(bpy)2(mitatp)](ClO4)21 and [Ru(bpy)2(nitatp)](ClO4)22 (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, mitatp = 5-methoxy-isatino[1,2-b]-1,4,8,9-tetraazatriphenylene, nitatp = 5-nitro-isatino[1,2-b]-1,4,8,9-tetraazatriphenylene) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, mass spectrometry and cyclic voltammetry. Spectroscopic and viscosity measurements proved that the two Ru(II) complexes intercalate DNA with larger binding constants than that of [Ru(bpy)2(dppz)]2+ (dppz = dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine) and possess the excited lifetime of microsecond scale upon binding to DNA. Both complexes can efficiently photocleave pBR322 DNA in vitro under irradiation. Singlet oxygen (1O2) was proved to contribute to the DNA photocleavage process, the 1O2 quantum yields was determined to be 0.43 and 0.36 for 1 and 2, respectively. Moreover, a photoinduced electron transfer mechanism was also found to be involved in the DNA cleavage process.  相似文献

The reaction of dioxygen with the copper(I) complex of the tridentate ligand 1,1,4,7,7-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (Me5dien) has been investigated using low-temperature stopped-flow techniques. The formation of a bis(μ-oxo)copper(III) complex as a reactive intermediate could be detected spectroscopically at low temperatures and a quantitative kinetic analysis was performed for this system. Crystal structures of the copper(II) complexes [(Me-bpa)Cu(Cl)2] (1), [{(Me-bpa)Cu(Cl)(ClO4)}2] (2), [{(MeL)Cu(Cl)(ClO4)}2] (3), and [(MeL)Cu(NCS)2] (4) (Me-bpa = N-methyl-[bis(2-pyridyl)methyl]amine; MeL = N-methyl-[(2-pyridyl)ethyl(2-pyridyl)methyl]amine) are reported.  相似文献

Herein, we report the syntheses, spectral and structural characterization, and magnetic behavior of four new dinuclear terephthalato-bridged copper(II) complexes with formulae [Cu2(trpn)2(μ-tp)](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (1), [Cu2(aepn)2(μ-tp)(ClO4)2] (2), [Cu2(Medpt)2(μ-tp)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (3) and [Cu2(Et2dien)2(μ-tp)(H2O)](ClO4)2 (4) where tp = terephthalate dianion, trpn = tris(3-aminopropyl)-amin, aepn = N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine, Medpt = 3,3′-diamino-N-methyldipropylmine and Et2dien = N,N-diethyldiethylenetriamine. The structures of these complexes consist of two μ-tp bridging Cu(II) centers in a bis(monodentate) bonding fashion. The coordination geometry of the Cu(II) ions in these compounds may be described as close to square-based pyramid (SP) with severe significant distortion towards trigonal bipyramid (TBP) stereochemistry in 1. The visible spectra of the complexes in aqueous solutions are in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the Cu(II) centers. Also, the solid infrared spectral data for the stretching frequencies of the tp-carboxalato groups, the ν(COO) reveals the existence of bis(monodentate) coordination mode for the bridged terephthalate ligand. The susceptibility measurements at variable temperature over the range 2-300 K are reported. Despite the same bonding mode of the tp bridging ligand, there has been observed slight antiferromagnetic coupling for the compounds 1 and 4 with J values of −0.5 and −2.9 cm3 K mol−1, respectively, and very weak ferromagnetic coupling for 2 and 3 with J values of 0.8 and 10.1 cm3 K mol−1, respectively. The magnetic results are discussed in relation to other related μ-terephthalato dinuclear Cu(II) published compounds.  相似文献

Two isomeric dibenzo-O2S2 macrocycles L1 and L2 have been synthesised and their coordination chemistry towards palladium(II) has been investigated. Two-step approaches via reactions of 1:1-type complexes, [cis-Cl2LPd] (1a: L = L1, 1b: L = L2), with different O2S2 macrocycle systems (L1 and L2) have led to the isolation of the following bis(O2S2 macrocycle) palladium(II) complexes in the solid state: [Pd(L1)2](ClO4)2 (2a) and a mixture of [Pd(L1)2](ClO4)2 (2a) + [Pd(L2)2](ClO4)2 (2b).  相似文献

Three homochiral metal-organic coordination networks [Co2(l-Trp)2(Py)6] · Py · (ClO4)2 (1), [Ni(l-Trp)(Py)3] · H2O · ClO4 (2) and [Co2(l-Trp)(INT)2(H2O)2(ClO4)] (3), all containing natural amino acid l-HTrp (l-typtophan), were hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. The compounds 1 and 2 crystallize in the orthorhombic space group C2221, with a = 10.731(2) Å, b = 19.709(4) Å, c = 27.365(6) Å and Z = 4 for 1 and a = 10.710(10) Å, b = 20.088(18) Å, c = 27.63(3) Å and Z = 8 for 2, respectively. The compound 3 has the monoclinic space group P21, with a = 8.1934(14) Å, b = 13.209(2) Å, c = 12.464(2) Å, β = 104.107(3)° and Z = 2. Both 1 and 2 consist of 1D helical chains. Compound 3 is composed of 2D networks, which further assemble into a 3D supramolecular structure via weak interlayer interactions. The optically pure amino acid l-HTrp plays an important role leading to homochiral structures reported here.  相似文献

Cyclometalation of benzo[h]quinoline (bzqH) by [RuCl(μ-Cl)(η6-C6H6)]2 in acetonitrile occurs in a similar way to that of 2-phenylpyridine (phpyH) to afford [Ru(bzq)(MeCN)4]PF6 (3) in 52% yield. The properties of 3 containing ‘non-flexible’ benzo[h]quinoline were compared with the corresponding [Ru(phpy)(MeCN)4]PF6 (1) complex with ‘flexible’ 2-phenylpyridine. The [Ru(phpy)(MeCN)4]PF6 complex is known to react in MeCN solvent with ‘non-flexible’ diimine 1,10-phenanthroline to form [Ru(phpy)(phen)(MeCN)2]PF6, being unreactive toward ‘flexible’ 2,2′-bipyridine under the same conditions. In contrast, complex 3 reacts both with phen and bpy in MeCN to form [Ru(bzq)(LL)(MeCN)2]PF6 {LL = bpy (4) and phen (5)}. Similar reaction of 3 in methanol results in the substitution of all four MeCN ligands to form [Ru(bzq)(LL)2]PF6 {LL = bpy (6) and phen (7)}. Photosolvolysis of 4 and 5 in MeOH occurs similarly to afford [Ru(bzq)(LL)(MeCN)(MeOH)]PF6 as a major product. This contrasts with the behavior of [Ru(phpy)(LL)(MeCN)2]PF6, which lose one and two MeCN ligands for LL = bpy and phen, respectively. The results reported demonstrate a profound sensitivity of properties of octahedral compounds to the flexibility of cyclometalated ligand. Analogous to the 2-phenylpyridine counterparts, compounds 4-7 are involved in the electron exchange with reduced active site of glucose oxidase from Aspergillus niger. Structure of complexes 4 and 6 was confirmed by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Two new noninterpenetrated three-dimensional chiral coordination polymers [Cu(l-cys)(H2O)]n (1) and [Cd(l-cys)(H2O)]n (2) (where H2cys = cysteic acid) have been synthesized and characterized using single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. In the two complexes, l-cys acts as a μ3-bridge for 1 and a μ4-bridge for 2, respectively, to link metal centers in different modes, forming two different three-dimensional networks. The topological analysis of them shows that 1 can be simplified to a three-connected topology with the short symbol of 103 and the full vertex symbol of 105.105.105 while 2 a four-connected topology with the short symbol of 42.63.8 and the full vertex symbol of 4.6.4.6.6.82, respectively.  相似文献

Complex fac-[RuCl3(NO)(P-N)] (1) was synthesized from the reaction of [RuCl3(H2O)2(NO)] and the P-N ligand, o-[(N,N-dimethylamino)phenyl]diphenylphosphine) in refluxing methanol solution, while complex mer,trans-[RuCl3(NO)(P-N)] (2) was obtained by photochemical isomerization of (1) in dichloromethane solution. The third possible isomer mer,cis-[RuCl3(NO)(P-N)] (3) was never observed in direct synthesis as well as in photo- or thermal-isomerization reactions. When refluxing a methanol solution of complex (2) a thermally induced isomerization occurs and complex (1) is regenerated. The complexes were characterized by NMR (31P{1H}, 15N{1H} and 1H), cyclic voltammetry, FTIR, UV-Vis, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction structure determination. The 31P{1H} NMR revealed the presence of singlet at 35.6 for (1) and 28.3 ppm for (2). The 1H NMR spectrum for (1) presented two singlets for the methyl hydrogens at 3.81 and 3.13 ppm, while for (2) was observed only one singlet at 3.29 ppm. FTIR Ru-NO stretching in KBr pellets or CH2Cl2 solution presented 1866 and 1872 cm−1 for (1) and 1841 and 1860 cm−1 for (2). Electrochemical analysis revealed a irreversible reduction attributed to RuII-NO+ → RuII-NO0 at −0.81 V and −0.62 V, for (1) and (2), respectively; the process RuII → RuIII, as expected, is only observed around 2.0 V, for both complexes.Studies were conducted using 15NO and both complexes were isolated with 15N-enriched NO. Upon irradiation, the complex fac-[RuCl3(NO)(P-N)] (1) does not exchange 14NO by 15NO, while complex mer,trans-[RuCl3(NO)(P-N)] (2) does. Complex mer,trans-[RuCl3(15NO)(P-N)] (2′) was obtained by direct reaction of mer,trans-[RuCl3(NO)(P-N)] (2) with 15NO and the complex fac-[RuCl3(15NO)(P-N)] (1′) was obtained by thermal-isomerization of mer,trans-[RuCl3(15NO)(P-N)] (2′).DFT calculation on isomer energies, electronic spectra and electronic configuration were done. For complex (1) the HOMO orbital is essentially Ru (46.6%) and Cl (42.5%), for (2) Ru (57.4%) and Cl (39.0%) while LUMO orbital for (1) is based on NO (52.9%) and is less extent on Ru (38.4%), for (2) NO (58.2%) and Ru (31.5%).  相似文献

Leishmanicidal activity of 6α, 7α, 15β, 16β, 24-pentacetoxy-22α-carbometoxy-21β,22β-epoxy-18β−hydroxy-27,30-bisnor-3,4-secofriedela-1,20 (29)-dien-3,4 R-olide (LLD-3 (1)) isolated from Lophanthera lactescens Ducke, a member of the Malpighiaceae, was demonstrated against intramacrophage amastigote forms (IC50 of 0.41 μg/mL). The in vitro leishmanicidal effect of Glucantime, the first choice drug for leishmaniasis treatment, was increased by LLD-3 (1) association. The leishmanicidal effect of LLD-3 (1) was not due to stimulation of nitric oxide production by macrophages. LLD-3 (1) was also not cytotoxic for mouse peritoneal macrophages or B cells as assessed by the XTT and Trypan blue exclusion assays. LLD-3 (1) was unable to affect proliferation of naïve or activated B and T cells, as well as the B cells immunoglobulin synthesis. Cellularity of different tissues, liver and kidney functions were not altered in mice treated with LLD-3 (1), as well as the histology pattern of different organs. Our results add LLD-3 (1) as a potential drug candidate for treatment of leishmaniasis.  相似文献

Three mono-nuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu(tepza)X]ClO4 (X = Cl, 1; X = NCS, 2; X = dca, 3) and two dinuclear bridging complexes [Cu2(tepza)2(μ-C4O4)](ClO4)2·H2O(4) and [Cu2(tepza)2(μ-C5O5)](ClO4)2(5) where tepza = tris[2-ethyl(1-pyrazolyl)]amine, dca = dicyanamide, C4O42− = 3,4-dihydroxycyclobut-3-ene-1,2-dionate (squarate dianion) and C5O52− = 4,5-dihydroxycyclopent-4-ene-1,2,3-trionate (croconate dianion) were synthesized and structurally characterized by IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy as well as by single X-ray crystallography. In the solid state, the geometry of copper(II) centers in these complexes are as follows: close to SP in 2, distorted TBP in 3, predominant SP in 4, and distorted octahedral in 5, whereas in solution distorted SP geometry was generally found. The squarato and the croconato dianions in complexes 4 and 5 are bridging the two copper(II) centers in cis-bis-monodentate and bis-bidentate bonding modes, respectively. Magnetic susceptibility measurements at variable temperatures (2-300 K) reveal the weak antiferromagnetic coupling in the two bridging dinuclear complexes 4 (= −24.9 cm−1) and 5 (= −3.1 cm−1).  相似文献

One monomeric neutral Cu(II) complex [(pmtpm)CuCl2] (1) is reported by Lindoy and Livingstone [8]. Two new complexes namely, μ-Cl bridged binuclear Cu(II) complex [{(pmtpm)Cu(Cl)}2 μ-Cl](ClO4) (2) and a bis μ-Cl bridged binuclear Cu(II) complex [{(pmtpm)Cu}2(μ-Cl)2](ClO4)2 (3) derived from a tridentate Schiff base ligand, 2-pyridyl-N-(2′-methylthiophenyl)methyleneimine (pmtpm) were synthesized and characterized by various spectroscopic methods and by X-ray crystallography. (N2S)CuCl2 chromophore(s) of distorted square pyramidal coordination geometries around Cu(II) ion(s) have been observed for all the complexes 1-3. The equatorial sites of the square plane comprise two N and a thioether S donor atoms of the pmtpm ligand as well as one Cl ion (terminal in 1 and 2, and bridging in 3) while the remaining axial site is occupied by a terminal Cl ion (for 1) or a bridging Cl ion (for 2 and 3). The equatorial Cu-Cl distances are much shorter [1: 2.2511(4) Å, 2: 2.2307(12) Å, 3: 2.2513(12) Å] than the axial Cu-Cl distances [1: 2.4394(4) Å, 2: 2.5597(9) Å, 3: 2.7037(12) Å]. The correlation of an axial Cu-Cl bond elongation with a lower g|| value in the solid state EPR spectrum and a blue shifted ligand field transition in the solid and solution phase absorption spectrum has been observed.  相似文献

Four new zinc(II) complexes [Zn(dien)(μ-nic)]2(BPh4)2·2CH3OH (1), {[Zn(dien)(isonic)]BPh4}n (2), [Zn(tren)(nic)]BPh4 (3) and [Zn(tren)(isonic)]BPh4 (4) (dien/tren = diethylenetriamine/triethylenetriamine, nic/isonic = nicotinate/isonicotinate anion) were synthesized and structurally characterized by IR, 1H NMR and single crystal X-ray diffraction. In the zinc(II) complexes of dien, both nicotinate and isonicotinate connect the zinc(II) ions via N,O-bis-monodentate mode. Complex 1 contains a centrosymmetric dinuclear unit bridged by two nicotinate anions in anti-parallel way. Complex 2 is characterized by an infinite one-dimensional zigzag chain bridged by isonicotinate anion in an end-to-end mode. The Zn···Zn distance is 6.782 for 1 and 8.805 Å for 2. While in the complexes of tren, both 3 and 4 are mononuclear complexes with nicotinate and isonicotinate coordinated to zinc(II) ion through only one oxygen atom of their carboxylate groups. The zinc(II) ions in all of the four complexes are in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. Complex 3 forms a dinuclear unit and complex 4 forms an infinite 2D sheet structure through intermolecular H-bonds. In all of the crystal lattices, the counterions act to balance the electronic charge at the same time to construct different 3D structures through noncovalent interactions such as C-H···π, N-H···π and van der Waals interactions.  相似文献

The preparation, crystal structures and magnetic properties of three copper(II) compounds of formulae [Cu2(dmphen)2(dca)4] (1), [Cu(dmphen)(dca)(NO3)]n (2) and [Cu(4,4-dmbpy)(H2O)(dca)2] (3) (dmphen=2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, dca=dicyanamide and 4,4-dmbpy=4,4-dimethyl-2,2-bipyridine) are reported. The structure of 1 consists of discrete copper(II) dinuclear units with double end-to-end dca bridges whereas that of 2 is made up of neutral uniform copper(II) chains with a single symmetrical end-to-end dca bridge. Each copper atom in 1 and 2 is in a distorted square pyramidal environment: two (1) or one (2) nitrile-nitrogen atoms from bridging dca groups, one of the nitrogen atoms of the dmphen molecule (1 and 2) and either one nitrile-nitrogen from a terminal dca ligand (1) or a nitrate-oxygen atom (2) build the equatorial plane whereas the second nitrogen atom of the heterocyclic dmphen fills the axial position (1 and 2). The copper-copper separations through double (1) and single (2) end-to-end dca bridges are 7.1337(7) (1) and 7.6617(7) (2). Compound 3 is a mononuclear copper(II) complex whose structure contains two neutral and crystallographically independent [Cu(4,4-dmbpy)(H2O)(dca)2] molecules which are packed in two different layer arrangements running parallel to the bc-plane and alternating along the a-axis. The copper atoms in both molecules have slightly distorted square pyramidal surroundings with the two nitrogen atoms of the 4,4-dmbpy ligand and two dca nitrile-nitrogen atoms in the basal plane and a water oxygen in the apical position. A semi co-ordinated dca nitrile-nitrogen from a neighbour unit [2.952(6) Å for Cu(2)-N] is in trans position to the apical water molecule in one of the two molecules, this feature representing part of the difference in supramolecular connections in the alternating layers referred to above. Magnetic susceptibility measurements for 1-3 in the temperature range 1.9-290 K reveal the occurrence of weak antiferromagnetic interactions through double [J=−3.3 cm−1 (1), ] and single [J=−0.57 cm−1 (2), ] dca bridges and across intermolecular contacts [θ=−0.07 K (3)].  相似文献
