Copper(I) halide complexes containing the diphosphane xantphos (4,5-bis(diphenylphosphano)-9,9-dimethyl-xanthene) and some heterocyclic thione ligands have been synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, IR spectroscopy, elemental analyses and melting point determinations. The complexes can be readily obtained by the addition of the thione ligand to a CuX-diphosphane adduct in acetonitrile/methanol solution. The molecular structures of [CuBr(xantphos)(dmpymtH)] and [CuI(xantphos)(imdtH2)] · CH3CN have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Each of these structures features a tetrahedral copper(I) center with two phosphorus atoms from the chelating diphos ligand, one halogen atom and the exocyclic sulfur atom of the heterocyclic thioamide unit. Rapid decomposition of the mixed-ligand complexes via ligand dissociation occurs upon standing of their acetonitrile solutions at room temperature for several days. The resulting colored crystals, which not only on elemental analysis but also on the basis of their NMR and IR spectra, are found to be phosphane-free coordination polymers of composition [CuX(thione)].  相似文献

Reaction of copper(I) chloride or bromide with equimolar amounts of the diphos ligand cis-1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethylene (dppet) and a heterocyclic thione (L) in acetonitrile/methanol solvent afforded mononuclear complexes of the type [CuX(dppet)(L)] with the diphosphine ligand acting as a chelating ligand. However, the same reaction carried out at higher temperatures proceeds, in some cases, with exclusion of the phosphine ligand from the coordination sphere leading to double-S-bridged dimers. In contrast, copper(I) iodide under the same conditions gave the thione-free dimeric compound [CuI(dppet)]2 which contains double-bridging iodine atoms. A notable exception was for the reaction with 5-methyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-thione (mtdztH) which, under the same conditions, gave rise to the unexpected, simultaneous formation of the monomer [CuI(dppet)(CH3CN)] as well as the above mentioned dimeric [CuI(dppet)]2. Furthermore treatment [CuX(dppet)(L)] with two equivalents of triphenylphosphine was found to cause replacement of the diphos ligand, while substitution of the chlorine atom under HCl elimination and formation of [Cu(dppet)(mftztH)2] occured in the unique case of treating [CuCl(dppet)(mftztH)] with one additional equivalent of the same thione ligand. The structures of one representative for each of the above mentioned types of complexes, namely [CuBr(dppet)(mftztH)], [Cu(dppet)(mftztH)2], [Cu(μ-I)(dppet)]2 · [CuI(dppet)(CH3CN)] and [CuBr{μ-S(pymtH)}(pymtH)]2 have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Reactions of silver(I) nitrate with equimolar amounts of the diphos ligands 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb) or 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) and some heterocyclic thiones (L) in acetonitrile/methanol solvent afforded mixed-ligand complexes, the nature of which was found to be strongly influenced by the backbone length of the diphosphine ligand. The longer chained diphos ligand formed a series of dinuclear complexes of the type [Ag(dppb)(L)]2(NO3)2 with both the diphosphine and thione ligands acting as bridging ligands between the two four-coordinate pseudo-tetrahedrally coordinated metal centers. In the unique case of L=4-methyl-5-trifluoromethyl-4H-1,2,4-triazoline-3(2H)-thione (mftztH), the reaction proceeded under exclusion of the thione ligand from the coordination sphere and coordination of the nitrate anions instead, leading to the diphosphine-doubly bridged dimeric compound [Ag(dppb)(NO3)]2. On the other hand, the complexes produced when using the short bite 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) turned out to be diphosphine-bridged cationic polymers of the type [Ag(dppe)(L)2]n(NO3)n. The structures of one representative for each of the two aforementioned series of complex compounds, namely [Ag(dppb)(py2SH)]2(NO3)2 · 2H2O and [Ag(dppe)(pymtH)2]n(NO3)n, have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Several mixed-ligand complexes have been prepared by treatment of copper(I) chloride with equimolar amounts of trans-1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethene (trans-dppen) in acetonitrile followed by the addition of a methanolic solution of one equivalent of a heterocyclic thione (L). The novel complex compounds have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, 1H NMR and IR spectroscopy as well as by elemental analyses and melting points. The X-ray structures of three examples confirm that the compounds are homobimetallic dimers of type [CuCl(μ2-trans-dppen)(L)]2 containing two tetrahedral coordination units joined by two trans-dppen bridges.  相似文献

In this paper, we report four phosphorescent Cu(I) complexes of [Cu(OP)(PPh3)2]BF4, [Cu(Me-OP)(PPh3)2]BF4, [Cu(OP)(POP)]BF4, and [Cu(Me-OP)(POP)]BF4 with oxadiazole-derived diimine ligands, where OP = 2-(5-phenyl-[1,3,4]oxadiazol-2-yl)-pyridine, Me-OP = 2-(5-p-tolyl-[1,3,4]oxadiazol-2-yl)-pyridine, POP = bis(2-(diphenylphosphanyl)phenyl) ether, and PPh3 = triphenylphosphane, including their synthesis, crystal structures, photophysical properties, and electronic nature. The Cu(I) center has a distorted tetrahedral geometry within the Cu(I) complexes. Theoretical calculation reveals that all emissions originate from triplet metal-to-ligand-charge-transfer excited state. It is found that the inter-molecular sandwich structure triggered by inter- and intra-molecular pi-stacking within solid state Cu(I) complexes is highly effective on restricting the geometric relaxation that occurs in excited states, and thus greatly enhances the photoluminescence (PL) performances, including PL quantum yield improvement, PL decay lifetime increase, and emission blue shift.  相似文献

A variety of Group 6 mono bipyridine (bpy) complexes were prepared, and substitution reactions of [(bpy)(MeIm)M(CO)2(NO)]PF6 complexes (MeIm = 1-methylimidazole, M = W or Mo) were investigated. Nitrosylation of complexes having the general formula (bpy)(L)M(CO)3 (L = a variable ligand) gave cationic complexes of the form [(bpy)(L)M(CO)2(NO)]PF6. The structure of [(bpy)(MeIm)W(CO)2(NO)]PF6 was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffractometry. [(bpy)(MeIm)M(CO)2(NO)]PF6 complexes undergo facile substitutions with mono-, tri- and tetra-dentate ligands, yielding di- or mono-carbonyl mononitrosyl complexes. The structures of [(bpy)(PMe3)2W(CO)(NO)]PF6 and [(dien)(PMe3)W(CO)(NO)]PF6 (dien = diethylenetriamine) were determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The chelating behavior of 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis(2-aminobenzoylhydrazone) (H2dapa) towards manganese(II), cadmium(II) and oxovanadium(IV) ions has been studied by elemental analyses, conductance measurements, magnetic properties and spectral (IR, 1H NMR, UV-Vis and EPR) studies. The IR spectral studies suggest the pentadentate nature of the ligand with pyridine nitrogen, two azomethine nitrogens and two carbonyl oxygen atoms as the ligating sites. Six coordinate structure for [VO(H2dapa)]SO4 · H2O and seven coordinate structures for [Mn(H2dapa)(Cl)(H2O)]Cl · 2H2O and [Cd(H2dapa)Cl2] · H2O complexes have been proposed. Pentagonal bipyramidal geometry for [Mn(H2dapa)(Cl)(H2O)]Cl · 2H2O and [Cd(H2dapa)(Cl2)] · H2O complexes was confirmed by single crystal analysis. The X-band EPR spectra of the oxovanadium(IV) and manganese(II) complexes in the polycrystalline state at room (300 K) and also at liquid nitrogen temperature (77 K) were recorded and their salient features are reported.  相似文献

The title ligand, N-(2-hydroxyphenyl)methyl-bis-(2-pyridylmethyl)amine, was prepared via a condensation-reduction synthetic route. The compounds, CuCl(C19H19N3O) and [CuBr(C19H19N3O)]+Br · 3H2O, were readily synthesized from the reaction of CuCl or CuBr2 and the ligand in acetonitrile. The title copper(I) compound is an O-H ? Cl hydrogen-bonded linear chain of tetrahedrally coordinated copper centers, and the title copper(II) compound exists as two strongly tetragonally distorted dibromide bridged metal cations in a dimer with the phenol hydroxyl groups weakly bound in a trans-fashion to one of the bridging bromides. In the copper(I) complex the phenoxy group acts only as a hydrogen bond donor, whereas in the copper(II) complex it acts both as a ligand and a hydrogen bond donor.  相似文献

The structures and spectroscopic properties of new Mn(II), Co(II), Cd(II), Hg(II), Ag(I), Rh(III), and Ir(I) complexes with the ligand BZLMH derived from 6-acetyl-1,3,7-trimethyllumazine (lumazine = pteridine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione) and benzohydrazide are reported. Complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic studies (IR, UV-vis, 1H, 13C and 15N NMR) and magnetic measurements. In all the complexes, the lumazine-derived ligand appears to be coordinated in either tridentate (N5, N61 and O63) or tetradentate forms (O4, N5, N61 and O63). The molecular structures of the [Co(BZLMH)(H2O)(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN and [RhCl2(BZLM)(CH3CN)] · CH3CN complexes, determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction, have allowed to corroborate both coordination behaviours. The cytotoxic activity of the free ligand and complexes against human neuroblastoma NB69 cell line is also described. The differential analysis of the initial cytotoxic screening data has shown good activity only for the [RhCl2(BZLM)(CH3CN)] · CH3CN compound at concentrations at around 2 μM; for the other complexes, a modulation of the cell growth was not found upon complexation, this non-specific effect strongly suggesting an apoptotic behaviour.  相似文献

The use of a Schiff-base calixpyrrole (L) as a dinucleating ligand for early transition metals is described. Salt elimination reactions between the crystallographically-characterised [K4(THF)3(PhMe)(L)] and titanium(III) and vanadium(III) halides form the new dinuclear complexes [(MCl)2(L)] (M = Ti, V). Adventitious, and partial, oxidation of [(VCl)2(L)] resulted in the formation of the unusual mixed-valence vanadyl complexes [(VO)(S)(VCl)(L)] (S = THF or pyridine), which both adopt desired Pacman geometries in the solid state in which the oxo ligand is accommodated within the dinuclear molecular cleft.  相似文献

Seven new mixed-ligand vanadyl complexes, [VIVO(5-Br-SAA)(NN)] and [VIVO(2-OH-NAA)(NN)] (1-7) (5-Br-SAA for 5-bromosalicylidene anthranilic acid, 2-OH-NAA for 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde anthranilic acid and NN for N,N′-donor heterocyclic base, namely, 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy, 1 and 5), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen, 2 and 6), dipyrido[3,2-d:2′,3′-f]quinoxaline (dpq, 3 and 7), dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine (dppz, 4)), were synthesized and characterized. X-ray crystal structure of [VIVO(5-Br-SAA)(phen)] revealed a distorted octahedral geometry with the Schiff base ligand coordinated in a tridentate ONO-fashion and the phenanthroline ligand in a bidentate fashion. Density-functional theory (DFT) calculations suggest a similar structure and the same coordination mode for all the other oxovanadium complexes synthesized. Biochemical assays demonstrate that the mixed-ligand oxovanadium(IV) complexes are potent inhibitors of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B), with IC50 values approximately 41-75 nM. Kinetics assays suggest that the complexes inhibit PTP1B in a competitive manner. Notably, they had moderate selectivity of PTP1B over T-cell protein tyrosine phosphatase (TCPTP) (about 2-fold) and good selectivity over Src homology phosphatase 1 (SHP-1) (about 4∼7-fold). Thus, these mixed-ligand complexes represent a promising class of PTP1B inhibitors for future development as anti-diabetic agents.  相似文献

The substitution behaviour of [PtCl(R)(COD)] (R = Me and Fc) complexes, by the stepwise addition of phosphine ligands, L (L = PPh3, PEt3 and P(NMe2)3), were investigated in situ by 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopy. Addition of less than two equivalents of the phosphine ligand results in the formation of dimeric molecules with the general formula trans-[Pt(R)(μ-Cl)(L)]2 for the sterically demanding systems where R = Me/L = P(NMe2)3 and R = Fc/L = PEt3, PPh3 and P(NMe2)3 while larger quantities resulted in cis- and trans mixtures of mononuclear complexes being formed. In the case of the relatively small steric demanding, strongly coordinating, PEt3 ligand the trans-[PtCl(R)(PEt3)2] mononuclear complexes were exclusively observed in both cases. The crystal structures of the two substrates, [PtCl(R)(COD)] (R = Me or Fc), as well as the cis-[PtCl(Fc)(PPh3)2] substitution product are reported.  相似文献

Dinuclear copper(I) complexes with bridging bis(dicyclohexylphosphino)methane (dcpm) or bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (dppm) and 2,2′-bipyridine or 2-[N-(2-pyridyl)methyl]amino-5,7-dimethyl-1,8-naphthyridine (L), [Cu2(bpy)2(dppm)2](BF4)2 (1), [Cu2(bpy)2(dcpm)](BF4)2 (2), [Cu2(L)(dppm)](BF4)2 (3) and [Cu2(L)(dcpm)](BF4)2 (4) were prepared, and their structures were determined by X-ray crystal analysis. Two-, three-, and four-coordinate copper(I) centers are found in these complexes. Compounds 3 and 4 show close CuI?CuI separations of 2.664(3) and 2.674(1) Å, respectively, whereas an intramolecular copper-copper distance of 3.038 Å is found in 2 having only dcpm as an additional bridge. Powdered samples of 1, 3, and 4 display intense and long-lived phosphorescence with λmax at 533, 575, and 585 nm at room temperature, respectively. In the solid state, 2 exhibits only a weak emission at 555 nm. The time-resolved absorption and emission spectra of these complexes were investigated. The difference in the emission properties among complexes 1-4 suggests that both CuI?CuI distances and coordination environment of the copper(I) centers affect the excited-state properties.  相似文献

Three new heteroleptic Cu(I) complexes containing one phenanthroline and one diphosphine type ligand ([Cu(N-N)(P-P)]+) have been prepared. In particular, one ligand is constituted by 1,10-phenanthroline (1), 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (2) and 2,9-diphenethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (3) and the other ligand is in all cases 1,1′-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf). Therefore, copper and iron metal centres are quite close one another, as evidenced by X-ray crystal diffraction. The structure together with the electrochemical and photophysical properties of these complexes have been compared to that of the corresponding complexes where dppf has been replaced by bis[2-(diphenylphosphino)-phenyl]ether (POP). Cyclic voltammetric experiments evidenced that the first oxidation process is located on the ferrocene moiety and that oxidation of Cu(I) is moved to more positive potential values and a chemical reaction is coupled to the electron transfer process. The absorption spectra show a metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) band, typical of Cu(I) phenanthroline complexes, at a higher energy compared to the homoleptic [Cu(N-N)2]+ species. No emission at either room temperature or 77 K has been observed for compounds 2 and 3, contrary to the high luminescence observed for the corresponding POP complexes. This result is consistent with a photoinduced energy transfer from the Cu(I) complex to the ferrocene moiety.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of a new ligand, 4,4′-bis(3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-6,6′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine, optimised for binding to copper(I) and with pendant functionality that can eventually be developed into metallodendritic structures. The synthesis and photophysical properties of complexes with copper(I) and ruthenium(II) are reported. The solid state structure of the complex [Cu(1)2][PF6] · MeCN (1 = 4,4′-bis(3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-6,6′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine) is also described.  相似文献

Mixed ligand complexes: [Co(L)(bipy)] · 3H2O (1), [Ni(L)(phen)] · H2O (2), [Cu(L)(phen)] · 3H2O (3) and [Zn(L)(bipy)] · 3H2O (4), where L2− = two -COOH deprotonated dianion of N-(2-benzimidazolyl)methyliminodiacetic acid (H2bzimida, hereafter, H2L), bipy = 2,2′ bipyridine and phen = 1,10-phenanthroline have been isolated and characterized by elemental analysis, spectral and magnetic measurements and thermal studies. Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies show octahedral geometry for 1, 2 and 4 and square pyramidal geometry for 3. Equilibrium studies in aqueous solution (ionic strength I = 10−1 mol dm−3 (NaNO3), at 25 ± 1 °C) using different molar proportions of M(II):H2L:B, where M = Co, Ni, Cu and Zn and B = phen, bipy and en (ethylene diamine), however, provides evidence of formation of mononuclear and binuclear binary and mixed ligand complexes: M(L), M(H−1L), M(B)2+, M(L)(B), M(H−1L)(B), M2(H−1L)(OH), (B)M(H−1L)M(B)+, where H−1L3− represents two -COOH and the benzimidazole N1-H deprotonated quadridentate (O, N, O, N), or, quinquedentate (O, N, O, N, N) function of the coordinated ligand H2L. Binuclear mixed ligand complex formation equilibria: M(L)(B) + M(B)2+ ? (B)M(H−1L)M(B)+ + H+ is favoured with higher π-acidity of the B ligands. For Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II), these equilibria are accompanied by blue shift of the electronic absorption maxima of M(II) ions, as a negatively charged bridging benzimidazolate moiety provides stronger ligand field than a neutral one. Solution stability of the mixed ligand complexes are in the expected order: Co(II) < Ni(II) < Cu(II) > Zn(II). The Δ log KM values are less negetive than their statistical values, indicating favoured formation of the mixed ligand complexes over the binary ones.  相似文献

Three new silver(I) complexes of 5,5-diethlybarbiturate (barb), [Ag(barb)(apy)]·H2O (1), {[Ag(μ-ampy)][Ag(μ-barb)2]}n (2) and [Ag(barb)(dmamhpy)] (3) [apy = 2-aminopyridine, ampy = 2-aminomethylpyridine and dmamhpy = 2-(dimethylaminomethyl)-3-hydroxypyridine] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and FT-IR. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses showed that complexes 1 and 3 are mononuclear. In 1, the silver(I) ion is linearly coordinated by a barb anion and a ampy ligand, while a bidentate dmamhpy ligand together with an N-coordinated barb anion forms a trigonal coordination geometry around silver(I) in 3. Complex 2 is a one-dimensional coordination polymer in which silver(I) ions are bridged by ampy ligands, leading to a cationic chain . The [Ag(barb)2] units contains two N-bonded barb ligands, bridging the silver centers in the cationic and anionic units via the carbonyl O atoms. Thus, complex 2 contains two-coordinated and four-coordinated silver ions. All complexes display hydrogen-bonded network structures and exhibit appreciable fluorescence at room temperature. Thermal analysis (TG-DTA) data are in agreement with the structures of the complexes.  相似文献

Four new coordination complexes, NiII(L)2 (1), [CoIII(L)2]ClO4 (2), [Zn(HL)(L)]ClO4 · H2O (3) and [Zn(L)2][Zn(L)(HL)]ClO4 · 7H2O (4) (where L is a monoanion of a Schiff base ligand, N′-[(2-pyridyl)methylene]salicyloylhydrazone (HL) with NNO tridentate donor set), have been synthesised and systematically characterised by elemental analysis, spectroscopic studies and room temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that 1 is a neutral complex, while 2-4 are cationic complexes. Among them, 4 is a rare type of cationic complex with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The ligand chelates the metal centre with two nitrogen atoms from the pyridine and imino moieties and one oxygen atom coming from its enolic counterpart. All the reported complexes show distorted octahedral geometry around the metal centres, with the two metal-N (imino) bonds being significantly shorter than the two metal-N (Py) bonds.  相似文献

A series of mononuclear acetonitrile complexes of the type [Ru(CH3CN)(L)(terpy)]2+ {L = phen (1), dpbpy (3), and bpm (5)}, and their reference complexes [RuCl(L)(terpy)]+ {L = phen (2), dpbpy (4), and dpphen (6)} were prepared and characterized by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, UV-vis spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammograms (CV). Abbreviations of the ligands (Ls) are phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dpbpy = 4,4′-diphenyl-2,2′-bipyridine, bpm = 2,2′-bipyrimidine, dpphen = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, and terpy = 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine. The X-ray structures of the two complexes 2 and 3 were newly obtained. The metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) bands in the visible region for 1, 3, and 5 in acetonitrile were blue shifted relative to those of the reference complexes [RuCl(L)(terpy)]+. CV for all the [Ru(CH3CN)(L)(terpy)]2+ complexes showed the first oxidation wave at around 0.95 V, being more positive than those of [RuCl(L)(terpy)]+. The time-dependent-density-functional-theory approach (TDDFT) was used to interpret the absorption spectra of 1 and 2. Good agreement between computed and experimental absorption spectra was obtained. The DFT approach also revealed the orbital interactions between Ru(phen)(terpy) and CH3CN or Cl. It is demonstrated that the HOMO-LUMO energy gap of the acetonitrile ligand is larger than that of the Cl one.  相似文献

Complex formation of thiourea with copper takes place as an intermediate step in the preparation of copper sulfide thin films by spray pyrolysis starting from aqueous solutions of copper(II) chloride and thiourea. The stoichiometry of the complex and that of the resulting thin film primarily depends on the molecular ratio of the starting materials. For comparison, the structures of all copper(I) thiourea complexes found in the Cambridge Structural Database are classified in this paper. In addition, syntheses, structural (single crystal XRD also at low temperature 193 K) and spectroscopic studies (FTIR and Raman) of six copper-thiourea complexes are now reported. The copper to thiourea stoichiometric ratio is 1:3 in four of these complexes, but their structures are basically different as dimerization or polymer formation takes place depending on whether the water of crystallisation is present or absent. The structure of bis(μ-thiourea)tetrakis(thiourea)dicopper(I) dichloride dihydrate, [Cu2(tu)6]Cl2 · 2H2O (1) was determined at room and also at low temperature. Bis(μ-thiourea)tetrakis(thiourea)dicopper(I) dibromide dihydrate, [Cu2(tu)6]Br2 · 2H2O (2) is isomorphous with 1, like the anhydrous compounds chlorotris(thiourea)copper(I), [Cu(tu)3]Cl (3) and bromotris(thiourea)copper(I), [Cu(tu)3]Br (4) are isomorphous. In the third isomorphous pair of complexes the copper to thiourea stoichiometric ratio is 1:1, viz. chloro(thiourea)copper(I) hemihydrate, [Cu(tu)]Cl · 0.5H2O (5) and bromo(thiourea)copper(I) hemihydrate, [Cu(tu)]Br · 0.5H2O (6). During the preparation of chloro(thiourea)copper(I) hemihydrate (5) a reaction by product α,α-dithiobisformamidinium dichloride, [SC(NH2)2]2Cl2 (7) was identified and structurally characterized which made it possible to suggest a reaction path leading to complex formation.  相似文献
