Two novel dinuclear nickel(II) complexes [Ni2(ntb)2(μ-tp)(H2O)1.61(CH3OH)0.39](NO3)2·5.13CH3OH·2.25H2O (1) and [Ni2(ntb)2(μ-fum)(H2O)(CH3OH)](NO3)2·6CH3OH·H2O (2) (tp = terephthalate dianion, fum = fumarate dianion, ntb = tris(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)amine) containing tetradentate poly-benzimidazole ligand were synthesized and structurally characterized by IR spectra, UV-Vis, elemental analysis and X-ray crystallography. The Ni(II) ions in 1 and 2 have distorted octahedral geometry with four nitrogen atoms of ntb, one oxygen atom of water and one oxygen atom supplied by the carboxylate group of the bridged dicarboxylato ligand. Complexes 1 and 2 consist of terephthalato- and fumarato-bridged dinickel(II) centers in bis(monodentate) bonding fashion. The Ni?Ni distances are 11.333 Å for 1 and 8.966 Å for 2. The magnetic susceptibility measurements at variable temperature show that two complexes exhibit weak antiferromagnetic interactions between nickel(II) ions with J values of −0.25 cm−1 and −0.36 cm−1, respectively.  相似文献

A 2D grid-like copper(II) complex [Cu(N3)2(pyz)](pyz = pyrazine) (1) has been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray analysis and magnetic measurements. The 2D grid-like network of 1 consists of 1D chain of Cu-pyz units connected by end-on azido bridge. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2 with a = 15.148(6) Å, b = 6.877(2) Å, c = 3.4591(12) Å and Z = 2. The magnetic investigation showed the presence of an antiferromagnetic interaction between the copper(II) ions mainly mediated through pyrazine bridge.  相似文献

A novel one-dimensional chiral copper(II) complex with single end-on (EO) azide bridge and chiral 2,2-bipyridine ligand, [Cu(N3)2(L)]n (1), and a mononuclear chiral copper(II) complex, [Cu(N3)2(L)] (2) (L = (1R)-6,6-dimethyl-5,7-methano-2-(2-pyridinyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroquinoline), have been synthesized and characterized. The crystal structure determination shows that complex 1 is a one-dimensional chiral coordination polymer with non-equivalent Cu-N(azide) bonds, in which the central Cu(II) ion is penta-coordinated in the form of a slightly distorted square-based pyramid. Compound 2 is a four-coordinated mononuclear complex where the Cu(II) ion has a highly distorted tetrahedronal environment. Both complexes 1 and 2 crystallize in the chiral space group: P212121 and P1, respectively. The magnetic studies show that there exists antiferromagnetic interaction between the copper(II) ions in complex 1.  相似文献

A new series of dinuclear squarato-bridged nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes [Ni2(2,3,2-tet)21,3-C4O4)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (1), [Ni2(aepn)21,3-C4O4)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (2), [Cu2(pmedien)21,3-C4O4)(H2O)2](ClO4)2.4H2O (3) and [Cu2(DPA)21,2-C4O4)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (4) where is the dianion of 3,4-dihydroxycyclobut-3-en-1,2-dione (squaric acid), 2,3,2-tet = 1,4,8,11-tetraazaundecane, aepn = N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine, pmedien = N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine and DPA = di(2-pyridylmethyl)amine were synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The spectral and structural characterization as well as the magnetic behaviour of these complexes is reported. In this series, structures consist of the groups as counter ions and the bridging the two M(II) centers in a μ-1,3- (1-3) and in a μ-1,2-bis(monodentate) (4) bonding fashions. The coordination geometry around the Ni(II) ions in 1 and 2 is six-coordinate with distorted octahedral environment achieved by N atoms of the amines and by one or two oxygen atoms from coordinated water molecules, respectively. In the Cu(II) complexes 3 and 4, a distorted square pyramidal geometry is achieved by the three N-atoms of the aepn or DPA and by an oxygen atom from a coordinated water molecule. The electronic spectra of the complexes in aqueous solutions are in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the M(II) centers. The complexes show weak antiferromagnetic coupling with ∣J∣ = 1.8-4.2 cm−1 in the μ-1,3- bridged squarato compounds 1-3, and J = −16.1 cm−1 in the corresponding μ-1,2- bridged squarato complex 4. The magnetic properties are discussed in relation to the structural data.  相似文献

Four novel nicotinato-copper(II) complexes containing polybenzimidazole and polyamine ligands were synthesized with formula [Cu2(bbma)2(nic)2](ClO4)2·CH3OH·0.5H2O (1), [Cu2(dien)2(nic)2](ClO4)2·2CH3OH (2), [Cu(ntb)(nic)]ClO4·H2O (3) and [Cu(tren)(nic)]BPh4·CH3OH·H2O (4), in which bbma is bis(benzimidazol-2-yl-methyl)amine, dien is diethylenetriamine, ntb is tris(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)amine, tren is tris(2-aminoethyl)amine and nic is nicotinate anion. All of the complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray diffraction analysis. Complexes 1 and 2 contain centrosymmetric dinuclear entity with the two Cu(II) atoms bridged by two nicotinate anions in an anti-parallel mode. The Cu···Cu separation is 7.109 Å for 1 and 6.979 Å for 2. Complexes 3 and 4 are mononuclear with nicotinate coordinated to Cu(II) ion by the carboxylate O atom in 3 and the pyridine N atom in 4. All of the complexes exhibit abundant hydrogen bonds to form 1D chain for 1, 3, 4 and 2D network for 2. Magnetic susceptibility measurements over the 2-300 K range reveal very weak ferromagnetic interaction between the two Cu(II) ions in 1 and antiferromagnetic interaction in 2 mediated by nicotinate ligand, with J value to be 0.15 and −0.19 cm−1, respectively.  相似文献

The dinuclear terephthalato-bridged nickel(II) complexes [Ni2(cyclen)2(μ-tp)](ClO4)2 (1) [Ni2(trpn)2(μ-tp)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (2) and [Ni2(3,3,3-tet)2(μ-tp)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (3), where tp = terephthalate dianion, cyclen = 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane, trpn = tris(3-aminopropyl)amine and 3,3,3-tet = 1,5,9,13-tetraazatridecane, were synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. Their magnetic susceptibilities were also determined at variable temperatures over the range 2-300 K. The structures of these complexes consist of μ-tp bridging two Ni(II) centers in a bis(bidentate) bonding fashion in 1 and in bis(monodentate) bonding fashion in 2 and 3. The coordination geometry around the Ni(II) ions in these compounds has a distorted octahedral geometry with four nitrogen atoms from the amine ligand (cyclen, trpn or 3,3,3-tet) and two coordinated oxygen atoms supplied by the chelated carboxylate group of the bridged terephthalate ligand in 1, and by one tp-carboxylate-oxygen in 2 and 3. The sixth coordination site in the last two complexes 2 and 3 is achieved via an oxygen atom from a coordinated water molecule. The intradimer Ni…Ni distances in these complexes are 10.740, 11.428 and 11.537 Å for 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The electronic spectra of the complexes in aqueous solutions are in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the Ni(II) centers. Also, the analysis of the infrared spectral data for the ν(COO) stretching frequencies of the tp-carboxalato groups reveals the existence of the bis(bidentate) and bis(monodentate) coordination modes for the bridged terephthalate ligand in 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Despite the different coordination modes of the tp bridging ligand in these complexes, they all exhibit very weak antiferromagnetic coupling. The coupling constants J were found to be −2.2, −0.6 and −1.5 cm3 K mol−1 for the complexes 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The structural and magnetic results of 1-3 are discussed in relation to the other related published μ-terephthalato dinuclear Ni(II) compounds.  相似文献

The copper(II) complexes [Cu(PyTT)2(H2O)](NO3)2 (A) and [CuCl2(μ-PyTT)2CuCl(H2O)]Cl · 3H2O (B) were synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, UV-Vis-NIR diffuse reflectance and magnetic susceptibility measurements. In the mononuclear compound A the copper ion is in a distorted square pyramidal geometry, with the equatorial plane formed by two thiazoline nitrogen atoms, one imino nitrogen atom and one water molecule, whereas the axial site is occupied by one imino nitrogen atom. The compound B is dinuclear and both Cu(II) centres present environments that can be described as slightly distorted square pyramidal geometries. The observed molar magnetic susceptibility for A (μ=2.13 BM) allows to exclude metal-metal interactions, supporting a monomeric structural formulation for this compound. In compound B, magnetic susceptibility measurements in the temperature range 6.2-288 K show an intradimer antiferromagnetic interaction (J=−11.8 cm−1).  相似文献

Three complexes of composition [Co3(Hdcp)2(phen)3(H2O)2]n · nH2O (1), [Ni2(Hdcp)2(H2O)4](Im)2 (2) and [Cu2(Hpca)2(H2O)2(Im)2] (3) (H3dcp = 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid, H2pca = 1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid, Im = imidazole and phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized via hydrothermal reactions and their structures have been characterized. Complex 1 is mainly constructed by Hdcp and ancillary ligand 1,10-phenanthroline and exhibits one-dimensional linear chain structure. Complexes 2 and 3 are pyrazolato-bridged dinuclear complexes. The ancillary imidazole ligand was not involved in the coordination and stacked to the lattice of the complex in 2. In the process of synthesis 3, imidazole ligand was coordinated to the metal centre; with one of the carboxylic group of the H3dcp ligand was eliminated to form [Cu2(Hpca)2(H2O)2(Im)2] (3) in situ. The results of magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that there exist antiferromagnetic interactions between Co(II) and Ni(II) centres in compounds 1 and 2, respectively.  相似文献

The dinuclear dicarboxylato-bridged copper(II) complexes [Cu2(TPA)2(μ-tp)](ClO4)2 · H2O (1), [Cu2(TPA)2(μ-fum)](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (2) and [Cu2(pmedien)2(μ-fum)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (3) (tp = terephthalate dianion, fum = fumarate dianion, TPA = tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine and pmedien = N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine) were synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The structures of the TPA complexes 1 and 2 consist of μ-tp or μ-fum bridging two Cu(II) centers in a bis(monodentate) bonding fashion. The coordination geometry around the Cu(II) ions in these compounds has a distorted trigonal bipyamidal geometry, TBP with four nitrogen atoms from the TPA ligand and a coordinated oxygen atom supplied by the carboxylate group of the bridged dicarboxylato ligand. Complex 3 has a distorted square pyramidal geometry achieved by the three N-atoms of the pmedien, one fum-carboxylate-oxygen and by an oxygen atom from a coordinated water molecule. The intradimer Cu…Cu distances in these complexes are 11.078(3), 8.663(4) and 9.520(3) Å for 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The electronic spectra of the complexes in aqueous solutions are in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the Cu(II) centers. Also, analysis of the infrared spectral data for the ν(COO) stretching frequencies of the tp-carboxalato groups reveals the existence of the bis(mondentate) coordination mode for the bridged dicarboxylato ligands in compounds 1 and 2. The susceptibility measurements at variable temperature over the 2-300 K range are reported. For 1-3, it has been observed slight antiferromagnetic coupling with J values of −0.8, −3.0 and −2.9 cm−1, respectively.  相似文献

Two new dinuclear isophthalato-bridged copper(II) complexes [Cu2(ntb)2(μ-ipt)](ClO4)2·4CH3OH·0.33H2O (1), [Cu2(bbma)2(μ-ipt)(NO3)(CH3OH)]NO3·CH3OH (2) and one mononuclear complex [Cu(bbma)(ipt)(CH3OH)0.67(H2O)0.33]·2CH3OH (3) containing tetradentate and tridentate poly-benzimidazole ligands were synthesized, where ntb is tris(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)amine, bbma is bis(benzimidazol-2-yl-methyl)amine and ipt is isophthalate dianion. All of the complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra and X-ray crystallography. The structures of complexes 1 and 2 consist of μ-ipt bridging two Cu(II) centers in a bis(monodentate) bonding fashion. The coordination geometry around the Cu(II) ions of both compounds has a distorted square pyramidal geometry. The Cu···Cu distances are 9.142 and 10.435 Å for 1 and 2, respectively. Complex 3 has a distorted square pyramidal geometry achieved by the three N-atoms of the bbma ligand, one isophthalate-oxygen atom and one oxygen atom from a coordinated methanol molecule. The magnetic susceptibility measurements at variable temperature over the 2-300 K range for complexes 1 and 2 are reported, with J values to be −0.013 and −0.32 cm−1, respectively. The results show that the two complexes exhibit very weak antiferromagnetic interactions between the dinuclear copper(II) centers.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterisation of two dicopper(II) and two dinickel(II) macrocyclic complexes, [CuII2LPr] (10), [CuII2LBu] (11), [NiII2LPr] (12) and [NiII2LBu] (13), are reported. The two new Schiff-base macrocycles (LPr)4− and (LBu)4− are isolated as dimetallic complexes 10-13 by the [2+2] condensation of 5,5-dimethyl-1,9-diformyldipyrromethane (9) and 1,3-diaminopropane or 1,4-diaminobutane, respectively, using Cu2+ or Ni2+ template ions. Single crystal X-ray structure determinations carried out on 10-13 show that each metal atom is in a square planar N4 geometry, being bound to two deprotonated pyrrole nitrogen atoms of one dipyrromethane unit and to the two adjacent imine nitrogen atoms. NMR spectra obtained for the two dinickel(II) complexes 12 and 13 show that in CDCl3 solution they are highly symmetrical and diamagnetic.  相似文献

Herein, we report the syntheses, spectral and structural characterization, and magnetic behavior of four new dinuclear terephthalato-bridged copper(II) complexes with formulae [Cu2(trpn)2(μ-tp)](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (1), [Cu2(aepn)2(μ-tp)(ClO4)2] (2), [Cu2(Medpt)2(μ-tp)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (3) and [Cu2(Et2dien)2(μ-tp)(H2O)](ClO4)2 (4) where tp = terephthalate dianion, trpn = tris(3-aminopropyl)-amin, aepn = N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine, Medpt = 3,3′-diamino-N-methyldipropylmine and Et2dien = N,N-diethyldiethylenetriamine. The structures of these complexes consist of two μ-tp bridging Cu(II) centers in a bis(monodentate) bonding fashion. The coordination geometry of the Cu(II) ions in these compounds may be described as close to square-based pyramid (SP) with severe significant distortion towards trigonal bipyramid (TBP) stereochemistry in 1. The visible spectra of the complexes in aqueous solutions are in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the Cu(II) centers. Also, the solid infrared spectral data for the stretching frequencies of the tp-carboxalato groups, the ν(COO) reveals the existence of bis(monodentate) coordination mode for the bridged terephthalate ligand. The susceptibility measurements at variable temperature over the range 2-300 K are reported. Despite the same bonding mode of the tp bridging ligand, there has been observed slight antiferromagnetic coupling for the compounds 1 and 4 with J values of −0.5 and −2.9 cm3 K mol−1, respectively, and very weak ferromagnetic coupling for 2 and 3 with J values of 0.8 and 10.1 cm3 K mol−1, respectively. The magnetic results are discussed in relation to other related μ-terephthalato dinuclear Cu(II) published compounds.  相似文献

Alkoxo-phenoxo bridged tetranuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu4L2(O2CC6H4-p-OH)2] (1) and [Cu4L2(O2CC6H4-o-OH)2] (2) containing pentadentate Schiff base ligand N,N-(2-hydroxypropane-1,3-diyl)bis(salicylaldimine) (H3L) are prepared and structurally characterized. Crystal structures of the complexes show the covalent linkage between two {Cu2L(O2CR)}(R = C6H4-p-OH, C6H4-o-OH) units through the phenoxo atoms of the Schiff base ligand showing axial/equatorial bonding modes. The Cu(1)-O(2)-Cu(2) alkoxo bridge angle is 131° in 1 and 2. The pendant ortho- and para- OH groups of the three-atom bridging carboxylate ligands show no apparent bonding interactions with the metal or other group(s). The complexes show a d-d band near 635 nm in CH2Cl2. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements in the temperature range 300-18 K show antiferromagnetically coupled spin system. A theoretical fit of the magnetic data using exchange parameters J1 and J2 for the intradimer and interdimer units of the quasi-linear tetrameric core gave values as: J1=−132,J2=−72 cm−1 for 1 and J1=−167,J2=−67 cm−1 for 2.  相似文献

The crystal structure and magnetic properties of a dinuclear copper(II) complex of the ligand [2,8-dimethyl-5,11-di-(dimethylethyleneamine) 1,4,5,6,7,10,11,12-octahydroimidazo [4,5-h] imidazo [4,5-c] [1,6]diazecine] dimeim have been investigated. Also, its catecholase activity has been explored in different solvent mixtures: MeCN/H2O and OH/H2O, each at several pH values. In CH3OH/H2O, where the activity was superior, the optimal pH value for the catalytic activity was found to be lower than in CH3CN/H2O. The study of the complex’s electrochemical behavior (cyclic voltammetry) which was also investigated in these various media, revealed that although an increase in pH in both solvent mixtures results in an increase both in Me oxidizing power (E1/2) and reversibility (ipa/ipc) the change of solvent system seems to be a more influencing factor. The superior catalytic activity found in MeOH/H2OpH=8.0, is associated with a significantly more reversible behavior displayed in this medium. Potentiometric determination of the overall formation constant and three successive pKas for the complex, suggest the formation of stable hydroxo complexes which could be the catalytically active species.  相似文献

Three complexes of the composition {[Cu(μ1,5-dca)2(mppca)2] · H2O}n (1), [Cu(μ1,5-dca)2(nppca)2]n (2) and [Cu(μ-Cl)2(mppca)2]n (3) (dca = dicyanamide, ; mppca = N-(4′-methylphenyl)-4-pyridinecarboxamide; nppca = N-(4′-nitrophenyl)-4-pyridinecarboxamide) have been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray crystallography and magnetic susceptibility studies. Different supramolecular structures of the complexes have been constructed by different non-covalent motifs in the crystalline solids. In complex 1, adjacent copper(II) atoms are connected by double μ1,5-dca(end-to-end) bridges to form a chain-like structure. The chains are linked by π-π interactions and hydrogen bonds between the ligands and water molecules to form a 3D network. In complex 2, copper(II) atom has a coordination environment similar to 1, but water molecules have not been found. Weak C-H?N hydrogen bonding and π-π interaction yield a 3D supramolecular network which is different from that of complex 1. Complex 3 is a 1D polymeric chain in which Cu(II) ions are bridged by Cl, and only CH/π interactions had been found. Magnetic measurements revealed antiferromagnetic properties of 1, 3 and ferromagnetic behavior of 2.  相似文献

A new tetranuclear complex, [Cu4L4](ClO4)4·2H2O (1), has been synthesized from the self-assembly of copper(II) perchlorate and the tridentate Schiff base ligand (2E,3E)-3-(2-aminopropylimino) butan-2-one oxime (HL). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies reveal that complex 1 consists of a Cu4(NO)4 core where the four copper(II) centers having square pyramidal environment are arranged in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. They are linked together by a rare bridging mode (μ3121) of oximato ligands. Analysis of magnetic susceptibility data indicates moderate antiferromagnetic (J1 = −48 cm−1, J2 = −40 cm−1 and J3 = −52 cm−1) exchange interaction through σ-superexchange pathways (in-plane bridging) of the oxime group. Theoretical calculations based on DFT technique have been used to obtain the energy states of different spin configurations and estimate the coupling constants and to understand the exact magnetic exchange pathways.  相似文献

A family of complexes of Ni(II), 2-aminomethylpyridine (ampy) and tricyanomethanide (tcm) have been prepared and studied by IR, X-ray crystallography and variable temperature susceptibility. The complexes synthesized include [Ni(ampy)3](ClO4)2 (1), [Ni(ampy)3](tcm)(PF6) (2), [Ni(ampy)3](PF6)2 (3), [Ni(ampy)2(H2O)2]Cl2 (4), and [Ni(ampy)2(tcm)2] (5). No coordination polymers of tcm were obtained. The magnetic behavior of the complexes, and the known material [Ni(ampy)(NO3)2], is dominated by single-ion anisotropy effects with D-values in the range of −2 to −12 K, although some compounds show a weak antiferromagnetic interaction.  相似文献

Binuclear cyanate bridged nickel(II) complex [Ni(L)(NCO)]2(PF6)2 (1) and copper(II) complex [Cu(L)(NCO)]2(PF6)2 (2), where L is N,N-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-ylmethyl)aminomethylpyridine, a tetradentate N4-coordinated ligand have been synthesized and characterized by physicochemical method. The structures of complexes 1 and 2 have been studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The structure analysis reveals that both nickel(II) and copper(II) center are coordinated in distorted octahedral fashion and coordination mode of cyanate ligand is end-to-end (μ-1,3) for complex 1 but it is double end-on (μ-1,1) mode for complex 2. The variable temperature magnetic susceptibility data, measured from 2 to 300 K, show weak antiferromagnetic interaction with J value −6.2(1) cm−1 for complex 1, whereas complex 2 has very weak ferromagnetic interaction with J value +0.5(1) cm−1.  相似文献

A new one-dimensional (1D) copper(II) complex, [Cu2(dpk · CH2O)(N3)3]n (dpk · CH2OH = unimethylated diol of di-2-pyridyl ketone) (1), has been synthesized and characterized. X-ray crystal structure study reveals that 1 is composed of 1D copper(II) chain with alternating double EO-azido bridges and mixed EO-azido/alkoxo double bridges. The magnetic determination indicates that ferromagnetic interaction dominates in this new 1D S = 1/2 system.  相似文献

Two new mononuclear bis(oxamato) complexes with the formula [nBu4N]2[M(nabo)] M = Ni (4), Cu (5), with nabo = 2,3-naphthalene-bis(oxamato) have been synthesized as precursors for trinuclear oxamato-bridged transition metal complexes. Starting from 5 the homo-trinuclear complex [Cu3(nabo)(pmdta)2(BF4)](BF4) · MeCN · Et2O (7), with pmdta = N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine, has been prepared. The central N,N′-2,3-naphthalene bridge of 7 is so far the most extended π-conjugated bridge of trinuclear bis(oxamato) type transition metal complexes. The goal of this work was to verify the N,N′-2,3-naphthalene bridge of 7 on its magnetic properties in comparison to the N,N′-o-phenylene bridge of the related homo-trinuclear complex [Cu3(opba)(pmdta)2(NO3)](NO3) · 2MeCN (6) (opba = o-phenylene-bis(oxamato)). The crystal structures of 4-7 were solved. The magnetic properties of 6 and 7 were studied by susceptibility measurements versus temperature. For the intramolecular J parameter, values of −89 cm−1 (6) and −113 cm−1 (7) were obtained. The different J values are discussed based on the crystal structures of 6 and 7.  相似文献
