Using an anionic precursor [(Tp)FeIII(CN)3] (1) as a building block, two cyano-bridged centrosymmetric heterotrinuclear complexes, (2) and (3) (en = ethylenediamine), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. In each complex, [TpFe(CN)3] acts as a monodentate ligand toward a central [Mn(C2H5OH)4]2+ or [Ni(en)2]2+ core through one of its three cyanide groups, the other two cyanides remaining terminal. The intramolecular Fe-Mn and Fe-Ni distances are 5.2354(4) and 5.0669(11) Å, respectively. The magnetic properties of complexes 2 and 3 have been investigated in the temperature range of 2.0-300 K. A weak antiferromagnetic interaction between the Mn(II) and Fe(III) ions has been found in complex 2. The magnetic data of 2 can be fitted with the isotropic Hamiltonian: where J and J′ are the intramolecular exchange coupling parameters between adjacent and peripheral spin carriers, respectively. This leads to values of J = −1.37 cm−1 and g = 2.05. The same fitting method is applied to complex 3 to give values of J = 1.2 cm−1 and g = 2.25, showing that there is a ferromagnetic interaction between the Fe(III) and Ni(II) ions.  相似文献

The compound Tl2B12H12 which consists of icosahedral anions and Tl+ cations shows a metal-centered r.t. luminescence at λmax = 530 nm which originates from the lowest-energy sp triplet of Tl+. This emission indicates a considerable covalent interaction between Tl+ and which is based on the hydridic nature of the boron cluster.  相似文献

The ligand 1,3-bis[3-(2-pyridyl)pyrazol-1-yl]propane (L8) has afforded six-coordinate monomeric and dimeric complexes [(L8)CoII(H2O)2][ClO4]2 (1), [(L8)NiII(MeCN)2][BPh4]2 (2), [(L8)NiII(O2CMe)][BPh4] (3), and . The crystal structures of 1, 2 · MeCN, 3, and 4 revealed that the ligand L8 is flexible enough to expand its coordinating ability by fine-tuning the angle between the chelating fragments and hence folds around cobalt(II)/nickel(II) centers to act as a tetradentate chelate, allowing additional coordination by two trans-H2O, cis-MeCN, and a bidentate acetate affording examples of distorted octahedral , , and coordination. The angles between the two CoN2/NiN2 planes span a wide range 23.539(1)° (1), 76.934(8)° (2), and 69.874(14)° (3). In contrast, complex 4 is a bis-μ-1,3-acetato-bridged (syn-anti coordination mode) dicobalt(II) complex [Co?Co separation: 4.797(8) Å] in which L8 provides terminal bidentate pyridylpyrazole coordination to each cobalt(II) center. To our knowledge, this report provides first examples of such a coordination versatility of L8. Absorption spectral studies (MeCN solution) have been done for all the complexes. Complexes 1-3 are uniformly high-spin. Temperature-dependent (2-300 K) magnetic studies on 4 reveal weak ferromagnetic exchange coupling between two cobalt(II) (S = 3/2) ions. The best-fit parameters obtained are: Δ (axial splitting parameter) = −765(5) cm−1, λ (spin-orbit coupling) = −120(3) cm−1, k (orbital reduction factor) = 0.93, and J (magnetic exchange coupling constant) = +1.60(2) m−1.  相似文献

A new ligand, 1-(pyridin-2-yl)-N-(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)-N-(thiophen-3-ylmethyl)methanamine, ThDPA, was synthesized, as a new example of an N3S donor. Cu(II) complexes of this ligand were isolated. When Cu(NO3)2 was used as the metal source, a homobinuclear complex with the formula [CuThDPA(NO3)2]2·H2O, 1, with two different types of nitro coordination was isolated. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic P21/n space group with a = 15.193, b = 8.181, c = 32.827 Å, β = 103.3° and V = 3971.9 Å3. In the case of CuSO4 as the source of copper(II), uncommon sulfato-bridged structures were isolated. The homobinuclear complex crystallized in two different lattices, depending on the solvent evaporation rate. Compound 2, with the formula [CuThDPA(SO4)]2·3H2O, crystallizes with 3 water molecules per binuclear structure in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 10.143, b = 17.013, c = 11.793 Å, β = 97.18° and V = 2019.1 Å3, and 3, [CuThDPA(SO4)]2·4H2O, crystallizes with 4 water molecules per binuclear structure in the triclinic space group, with a = 9.2906, b = 10.7297, c = 12.7236 Å, α = 79.66, β = 72.18, γ = 67.1° and V = 1109.7 Å3.  相似文献

Reaction of Cu(ClO4)2 · 6H2O with dimethylglyoxime (H2dmg) and triethylamine (pH ∼ 4-5) at room temperature affords oxime bridged dicopper(II/II) complex of formula [Cu2(μ-Hdmg)2(Hdmg)]ClO4 · H2O (1) (H2dmg = dimethylglyoxime). The complex has been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The structure consists of one dinuclear complex cation, [Cu2(μ-Hdmg)2(Hdmg)], and one anion. Two copper(II) ions at a distance of 3.558 Å are bridged by one oxime and one oximate groups in cis arrangement. The geometry around each copper atom is square planar with an overall open-book type arrangement of these planes. The average copper-oxygen distance is (1.953 Å) and the average copper-nitrogen distance is 2.003 Å. The Cu-O(oxime) distance (1.963 Å) is higher than the Cu-O(oximate) distance (1.942 Å) due to different protonation label. The room temperature value of χMT for the title complex (χM being the molar magnetic susceptibility for two copper atoms) is low (ca. 0.42 cm3 K mol−1) (μeff = 1.52 μB). The UV-Vis spectrum of the complex shows a characteristic broad band at 470 nm.  相似文献

The lability of the μ-CH linkage for complex 1 and the THF ligand of 2 allow access to the unsaturated cation [(η6-p-cymene)Ru(κ2-O,O-acac)]+. The reaction of with KTp {Tp = hydridotris(pyrazolyl)borate} produces . The azide complex forms upon reaction of with N3Ar (Ar = p-tolyl), and reaction of with CHCl3 at 100 °C yields the chloride-bridged binuclear complex . The binuclear mixed valence copper(I/II) compound [CuI(CN)3CuII(tn)2] (1) (tn = propane-1,3-diamine) and its acetonitrile adduct [CuI(CN)3CuII(tn)2] · 2MeCN (2) have been synthesized. Complex 1 crystallizes triclinic, space group , a = 8.117(2) Å, b = 8.389(2) Å, c = 11.920(2) Å, α = 108.728(3)°, β = 100.024(3)°, γ = 104.888(4)°, Z = 2, and compound 2 monoclinic, space group P21/m, a = 8.752(2) Å, b = 13.243(3) Å, c = 9.549(2) Å, β = 114.678(4)°, Z = 2. In both crystal structures, the binuclear [CuI(CN)3CuII(tn)2] complex with slightly different bonding geometries is formed. One of the three nitrogen atoms of a CuI(CN)3 moiety is coordinated to Cu(II) at the apex of a square-pyramid with two chelating ligands tn on its base. The shortest intramolecular CuII?CuII distance in 1 is 5.640(7) Å. The EPR behaviour of 1 has been investigated at room temperature and at 77 K. The magnetic properties were measured in the temperature range 1.8-300 K.  相似文献

The symmetrical anionic and neutral dimers [H(TMSO)2]2trans-[{RuCl4(TMSO)}2](μ-pyz) (1), and mer-[{RuCl3(TMSO)2}2](μ-pyz) (2) were isolated by the reaction of [H(TMSO)] trans-[RuCl4(TMSO)2] and mer-[RuCl3(TMSO)3] with heterocyclic nitrogen donor ligand pyrazine (pyz) at room temperature. These complexes can be regarded as unprecedented examples in the general Creutz-Taube family of ruthenium dimers. Each ruthenium center in 1 and 2 has a coordination environment akin to that of known anionic and neutral monomeric Ru(III) complexes. Crystals of 1 · acetone are orange, needle like, space group , a=10.419(3) Å, b=10.539(3) Å, c=12.595(5) Å, α=69.837(16)°, β=69.968(15)°, γ=74.330(15)° and crystals of 2 · 4TMSO are orange prisms, trigonal, space group , a=33.971(5) Å, b=33.971(5) Å, c=12.210(2) Å, α=90°, β=90° and γ=120°.  相似文献

The compounds [2-amino-4,6-dimethylpyridinium]2CuCl4 (1) and [2-amino-4,6-dimethylpyridinium]2CuBr4 (2) were prepared from acidic ethanolic media containing CuX2 and [2-amino-4,6-dimethylpyridine] in the molar ratio 1:1. The compounds were characterized by IR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction and found to be isomorphous in the space group with V = 991.2(10) Å3 for (1) and 1059.26(12) Å3 for (2) . There is no significant difference in the non-classical N-H?X hydrogen bonding between (1) and (2). The anions show essentially the same extent of distortion from tetrahedral geometry with max./min. values for the X-Cu-X bond angles of 139.72(6)°/96.78(6)° for (1) and 139.43(4)°/96.64(3)° for (2). Each [CuX4]2− anion is hydrogen bonded nonsymmetrically to four cations. In this manner, ladder chains are formed that run along the b-axis, with planar cations falling parallel to the (2, 0, 1) plane. Weaker π-π interactions exist between cations from different chains with centroid to centroid distance of 4.07 Å in (1) and a long 4.594 Å in (2). The X-π electrostatic interactions are surprisingly stronger in (2) than in (1) with a Br to centroid of pyridinic ring distance of 3.890 Å compared with 3.996 Å for the chloride analogue.  相似文献

The reaction of with Co(dmgBF2)2(H2O)2 in 1.0 M HClO4/LiClO4 was found to be first-order in both reactants and the [H+] dependence of the second-order rate constant is given by k2obs = b/[H+], b at 25 °C is 9.23 ± 0.14 × 102 s−1. The [H+] dependence at lower temperatures shows some saturation effect that allowed an estimate of the hydrolysis constant for as Ka = 9.5 × 10−3 M at 10 and 15 °C. Marcus theory and the known self-exchange rate constant for Co(OH2)5OH2+/+ were used to estimate an electron self-exchange rate constant of k22 = 1.7 × 10−4 M−1 s−1 for .  相似文献

The syntheses, structures, and magnetic properties of two new μ-alkoxo-μ-pyrazolato heterobridged compounds, [Cu II2(L1-F)(μ-prz)] (1) and [Cu II2(L1-2OMe) (μ-prz)] · 0.5 CH3CN (2) (prz=pyrazolato; H2L1-F=1,3-bis(3-fluorosalicylideneamino)-2-propanol; H2L1-2OMe=1,3-bis(4,6-dimethoxy salicylideneamino)-2-propanol) have been reported. Compound 1 crystallizes in triclinic space group with a=8.6392(10) Å, b=10.6431(9) Å, c=11.6809(13) Å, α=85.972(8)°, β=71.492(9)°, and γ=72.221(9)°, while the unit cell parameters of 2 are as follows: space group: monoclinic C2/c, a=28.2948(5) Å, b=7.3033(2) Å, c=26.3933(5) Å, and β=96.243(1)°. The variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements reveal that the metal centers in both the compounds are antiferromagnetically coupled with J=−200 cm−1 for 1 and J=−175 cm−1 for 2. The magnetic behaviors have been explained on the basis of two opposing factors, complementarity and countercomplementarity of magnetic orbitals.  相似文献

A series of compounds [FeIIH3LMe]Br·Y·nMeOH ( (1), (2), (3), (4); n = 0 or 1) were synthesized, where H3LMe is a hexadentate N6 tripodal ligand of the neutral form, tris[2-(((2-methylimidazol-4-yl)methylidene)amino)ethyl]amine, and their structures and magnetic properties were investigated. The compounds 13 with counter anions , , and contain methanol as a crystal solvent, and show no SCO behaviors, while the corresponding Cl compounds have no crystal solvent and show a variety of SCO behaviors. The compound [FeIIH3LMe]Br·CF3SO3 (4) has no crystal solvent and has isomorphous structure to the Cl compounds, and shows an abrupt spin transition between the HS (S = 2) and LS (S = 0) states with a hysteresis about 2 K and large frozen-in effect below 72 K. The T1/2↑ and T1/2↓ values are 98 and 96 K, whose values are higher than those of corresponding Cl compound about 15 K and the width of hysteresis is narrower than that of corresponding Cl compound about 2 K. The crystal structures of 4 were determined at 296 and 93 K, where the crystal system and space group showed no change between these temperatures. The structures at both temperatures have a same 2D layered structure, which is composed of NH?Br hydrogen bonds between the Br ion and the imidazole NH groups of three neighboring cations [FeIIH3LMe]2+. This network structure is the same as that of corresponding Cl compound. The 600 nm light irradiation at 5 K induced the LIESST effect.  相似文献

A water-insoluble hyperbranched β-d-glucan (TM3a), extracted from sclerotia of Pleurotus tuber-regium, was treated by microwave exposure to improve its solubility in water. This method led to complete dissolution of the TM3a polysaccharide in 0.02 wt % aqueous NaN3. Various treatment periods were tested, and optimal conditions corresponded to 35 s at 765 W. The solution properties of TM3a in water were studied systematically by using size-exclusion chromatography combined with laser light scattering, viscometry, and dynamic light scattering at 25 °C. The dependences of intrinsic viscosity ([η]), radius of gyration (), and hydrodynamic radius (Rh) on weight average molecular weight (Mw) for TM3a in 0.02 wt % aqueous NaN3 at 25 °C were found to be , , and in the Mw range from 8.20 × 105 to 4.88 × 106. The fractal dimension, ratio of , and the <r2>o/Mw value of TM3a were calculated and discussed. The results indicated that TM3a existed in a sphere-like conformation in 0.02 wt % aqueous NaN3. Furthermore, by using transmission electron microscopy, we observed directly the spherical molecules of TM3a. This work gave valuable information on improvement of solubility and chain conformation characterization of the water-insoluble polysaccharide in water.  相似文献

Knoevenagel condensation of 4-(dimethylamino)benzaldehyde with 4,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)-4-cyclopenten-1,3-dione (bpcd) gives the donor-acceptor ligand 2-(4-dimethylaminobenzylidene)-4,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)-4-cyclopenten-1,3-dione (dbpcd). The reaction of dbpcd with PtCl2(cod) affords the platinum(II) complex PtCl2(dbpcd) in high yield. The free dbpcd ligand and PtCl2(dbpcd) have been isolated and fully characterized in solution by IR and NMR spectroscopies, and the solid-state structure of PtCl2(dbpcd) determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The molecular structure of PtCl2(dbpcd)·1.5CH2Cl2 consists of a square-planar platinum architecture containing two chlorines and the ancillary dbpcd diphosphine ligand. The redox properties of the dbpcd ligand and PtCl2(dbpcd) have been explored by cyclic voltammetry, and these data are discussed with respect to extended Hückel MO calculations.  相似文献

The aquation of the title complex cation in aqueous perchloric acid proceeded via two steps, both postulated to be the proton attack on the oxygen atom which binds the acetate ligand to the metal centre, followed by Fe-O bond cleavage. This was followed by rapid decomposition to produce aqueous iron(III) and acetate ions. The first-order rate constants for the first and second steps at 25 °C are: k1 = (4.16 ± 0.58) × 10−2 s−1 and k2 = (2.09 ± 0.42) × 10−3 s−1, respectively, and their corresponding activation parameters are . The spontaneous hydrolysis rate constants for the first and second steps were also determined at 25 °C and ionic strength of 1 mol dm−3 and they are k0 = (3.10 ± 0.82) × 10−3 s−1 and , respectively.
