Five cycloartane-type triterpene glycosides were isolated from the methanol extract of the roots of Astragalus amblolepis Fischer along with one known saponin, 3-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl-16-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane. Structures of the compounds were established as 3-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl-25-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane, 3-O-[β-D-glucuronopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-β-D-xylopyranosyl]-25-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane, 3-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl-24,25-di-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane, 6-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-16,24-di-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane, 6-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-16,25-di-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,6α,16β,24(S),25-pentahydroxy-cycloartane by using 1D and 2D-NMR techniques and mass spectrometry. To the best of our knowledge, the glucuronic acid moiety in cycloartanes is reported for the first time.  相似文献

Two new cyclopropane triterpene glycosides were isolated from the methanol extracts of leaves of Passiflora quadrangularis. On the basis of hydrolysis, spectral evidence and comparison with quadranguloside, these compounds were assigned the structures 9,19-cyclolanosta-22,25-epoxy-3β-21,22(R)-triol-3β-O-gentiobioside and 9,19-cyclolanosta-21,24-epoxy-3β-25,26-triol-3β-O-gentiobioside,respectively. Two oligofurostanosides and two spirostanosides, isolated from a methanol extract of Asparagus adscendens (leaves), were characterized as 3-O-[{α-l-rhamnopyranosyl (1 → 4)} {α-l-rhamnopyranosyl (1 → 6)}-β-d-glucopyranosyl]-26-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl]-22α-methoxy-(25S)-furost-5-en-3β,26-diol (Adscendoside A), 3-O-[{α-l-rhamnopyranosyl (1 → 4)} {α-l-rhamnopyranosyl (1 → 6)}-β-d-glucopyranosyl]-26-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl]-(25S)-furost-5-en-3β,22α,26-triol-(Adscendoside B), 3-O-[{α-l-rhamnopyranosyl (1 → 6)}-β-d-glucopyranosyl]-(25S)-spirostan-5-en-3β-ol (Adscendin A) and 3-O-[{α-l-rhamnopyranosyl (1 → 4)} {α-l-rhamnopyranosyl (1 → 6)}-β-d-glucopyr anosyl]-(25S)-spirostan-5-en-3β-ol (Adscendin B), respectively. From the methanol extract of Cardamine diphylla rhizome, 5′-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-dihydroascorbigen (1) and 6-hydroxyindole-3-carboxylic acid 6-O-β-d-glucopyranoside (2) were isolated. The structures of the compounds were elucidated using spectroscopic methods. This is the second report on the presence of a glucosylated indole ascorbigen in plants.  相似文献

Two new fatty acid glucosides, 1,6-di-O-octanoyl-β-D-glucopyranose (1) and 6-O-(β-D-glucopyranosyl)-1-O-decanoyl-β-D-glucopyranose (2), were isolated from a methanol extract of the fruit of Morinda citrifolia L. along with five known saccharide fatty acid esters. The structures of these compounds were determined by combination of spectral and chemical analyses. These fatty acid glucosides exhibited inhibitory effect against copper-induced low-density lipoprotein oxidation. Compound 2 had the strongest effect, which was almost comparable to that of butylated hydroxytoluene.  相似文献

Four novel 3,28-O-bisglycosidic triterpenoid saponins were isolated from the mature fruits of F. japonica. Four new and three known oleanane-type saponins have been isolated from the methanolic extract of Phryna ortegioides, a monotypic and endemic taxon of Caryophyllaceae.The structures of the new compounds were determined as gypsogenic acid 28-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl ester (1), 3-O-α-l-arabinofuranosyl-gypsogenic acid 28-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→3)-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)]-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl ester (2), 3-O-α-l-arabinofuranosyl-gypsogenic acid 28-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→3)-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-]-β-d-glucopyranosyl ester (3), 3-O-α-l-arabinofuranosyl-16α-hydroxyolean-12-en-23,28-dioic acid-28-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→3)-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)]-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl ester (4). Their structures were established by a combination of one- and two-dimensional NMR techniques, and mass spectrometry. Noteworthy, none of isolated compounds possesses as aglycone moiety gypsogenin, considered a marker of Caryophyllaceae family.The cytotoxic activity of the isolated compounds was evaluated against three cancer cell lines including A549 (human lung adenocarcinoma), A375 (human melanoma) and DeFew (human B lymphoma) cells. Only compound 6 showed a weak activity against A375 and DeFew cell lines with IC50 values of 77 and 52 μM, respectively. None of the other tested compounds, in a range of concentrations between 12.5 and 100 μM, caused a significant reduction of the cell number.  相似文献

Six triterpenoid saponins isolated from the flower buds of Fatsia japonica were identified as 3-O-[β-D-glucopyranosyl(1 → 4)-α-L-arabinopyranosyl]-oleanolic acid, 3-O-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl]-hederagenin, 3-O-[β-D-glucopyranosyl(1 → 4)-α-L-arabinopyranosyl]-hederagenin, 3-O-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl]-echinocystic acid, 3-O-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl]-16-epiechinocystic acid and 3-O-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl]-oleanolic acid. Two new triterpene glycosides isolated from the root bark Guettarda angelica were proven to be quinovic acid-3β-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 3)-α-l-rhamnopyranoside] and quinovic acid-3β-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(28 → 1)-β-d-glucopyranosyl ester. In addition quinovic acid and two known glycoside derivatives (quinovic acid-3β-O-β-d-glucopyranoside and quinovic acid-3β-O-α-l-rhamnopyranoside) were isolated. After partial, acid hydrolysis of the extracellular, acid polysaccharide from Rh. trifolii Bart A, the following products were isolated and characterized: 3,4-O-(1-carboxyethylidene)-d-galactose, 4,6-O-(1-carboxyethylidene)-d-galactose, 3-O-[3,4-O-(1-carboxyethylidene)-β-d)-galactopyranosyl]-d-glucose, 3-O-[4,6-O-(1-carboxyethylidene)-β-d-galactopyranosyl]-d-glucose, O-[3,4-O-(1-carboxyethylidene)-β-d-galactopyranosyl ]-(1→3)-O-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-d-glucose, and O-[4,6-O-(1- carboxyethylidene)-β-d-galactopyranosyl]-(1→3)-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-d-glucose. The presence of pyruvic acid linked either to O-3 and O-4 or to O-4 and O-6 of the d-galactopyranosyl group of these saccharides indicates that both structures may be present in the original polysaccharide.  相似文献

A triterpenoid saponin mixture (so-called quillajasaponin) obtained from the bark of Quillaja saponaria was treated with weak alkali and two major desacylsaponins were isolated. On the basis of chemical and spectral evidence, they were determined as 3-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-[β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 3)]-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl quillaic acid 28-O-β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1 → 3)-β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-β-D-fucopyranoside and 28-O-β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1 → 3)-β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 3)]-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-β-D-fucopyranoside. Diazomethane degradation providing selectively the 28-O-glycoside from the 3,28-O-bisglycoside was a useful method for the structure elucidation.  相似文献

Two phenolic acids (1 and 2) and seven flavonoids (39) were isolated from the aerial parts of Alyssum alyssoides (Brassicaceae). All these compounds (19) were isolated from this particular species for the first time. Their structures were identified, on the basis of MS and NMR spectra as: p-hydroxy-benzoic acid (1), 3-methoxy-4-hydroxybenzoic acid (vanillic acid) (2), kaempferol 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (astragalin) (3), kaempferol 3-O-(6″-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (nicotiflorin) (4), quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (isoquercetin) (5), quercetin 3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside (hyperoside) (6), isorhamnetin 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (7), isorhamnetin 3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside (8) and isorhamnetin 3-O-(6″-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (narcissin) (9). Three covalent anthocyanin–flavonol complexes (pigments 1–3) were extracted from the violet-blue flower of Allium ‘Blue Perfume’ with 5% acetic acid-MeOH solution, in which pigment 1 was the dominant pigment. These three pigments are based on delphinidin 3-glucoside as their deacylanthocyanin and were acylated with malonyl kaempferol 3-sophoroside-7-glucosiduronic acid or malonyl-kaempferol 3-p-coumaroyl-tetraglycoside-7-glucosiduronic acid in addition to acylation with acetic acid.By spectroscopic and chemical methods, the structures of these three pigments 1–3 were determined to be: pigment 1, (6I-O-(delphinidin 3-O-(3I-O-(acetyl)-β-glucopyranosideI)))(2VI-O-(kaempferol 3-O-(2II-O-(3III-O-(β-glucopyranosylV)-β-glucopyranosylIII)-4II-O-(trans-p-coumaroyl)-6II-O-(β-glucopyranosylIV)-β-glucopyranosideII)-7-O-(β-glucosiduronic acidVI))) malonate; pigment 2, (6I-O-(delphinidin 3-O-(3I-O-(acetyl)-β-glucopyranosideI)))(2VI-O-(kaempferol 3-O-(2II-O-β-glucopyranosylIII)-β-glucopyranosideII)-7-O-(β-glucosiduronic acidVI))); and pigment 3, (6I-O-(delphinidin 3-O-(3I-O-(acetyl)-β-glucopyranosideI)))(2VI-O-(kaempferol 3-O-(2II-O-(3III-O-(β-glucopyranosylV)-β-glucopyranosylIII)-4II-O-(cis-p-coumaroyl)-6II-O-(β-glucopyranosylIV)-β-glucopyranosideII)-7-O-(β-glucosiduronic acidVI))) malonate.The structure of pigment 2 was analogous to that of a covalent anthocyanin–flavonol complex isolated from Allium schoenoprasum where delphinidin was observed in place of cyanidin. The three covalent anthocyanin–flavonol complexes (pigment 1–3) had a stable violet-blue color with three characteristic absorption maxima at 540, 547 and 618 nm in pH 5–6 buffer solution. From circular dichroism measurement of pigment 1 in the pH 6.0 buffer solution, cotton effects were observed at 533 (+), 604 (−) and 638 (−) nm. Based on these results, these covalent anthocyanin–flavonol complexes were presumed to maintain a stable intramolecular association between delphinidin and kaempferol units closely related to that observed between anthocyanin and hydroxycinnamic acid residues in polyacylated anthocyanins. Additionally, an acylated kaempferol glycoside (pigment 4) was isolated from the same flower extract, and its structure was determined to be kaempferol 3-O-sophoroside-7-O-(3-O-(malonyl)-β-glucopyranosiduronic acid).  相似文献

One new derivative of ferulic acid (1), two new caffeic acid derivatives (2 and 3) and three known derivatives of caffeic acid: 6-O-(E)-caffeoyl-glucopyranose (4), (E)-caffeic acid 4-O-β-glucopyranoside (5) and 5-caffeoylquinic acid (chlorogenic acid, 6) were isolated from a butanolic fraction of extract from Telekia speciosa flowers. Moreover, the flavonol glucoside–patulitrin (7) was identified in the analyzed extract. Structures of (E)-ferulic acid 4-O-β-(6-O-2-hydroxyisovaleryl)-glucopyranoside (1), (E)-caffeic acid 4-O-β-(6-O-2-hydroxyisovaleryl)-glucopyranoside (2) and (E)-caffeic acid 4-O-β-(6-O-3-hydroxy-2-methylpropanoyl)-glucopyranoside (3) were elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR, HRESIMS and other spectral analyses.  相似文献

Sixteen triterpenoid saponins, astrasieversianins I–XVI, have been isolated from the methanol extract of the roots of Astragalus sieversianus. By heterogeneous acidic hydrolysis, all glycosides produced only one common aglycone which was identified as the known natural product astramembrangenin or cycloastragenol. On the basis of spectral analysis and chemical reactions, the structures of two new triterpenoid glycosides, astrasieversianin IX and XI, were assigned as the 3-0-[α-l-rhamnopyranosyl(1 → 2)]-(3'-O-acetyl)-β-d-xylopyranosyl-6-O-β-d-xylopyranoside and the 3-O-[α-l-rhamnopyranosyl(1 → 2)]-(4'-O-acetyl)-β-d-xylopyranosyl-6-β-d-xylopyranoside of cycloastragenol. Astrasieversianin XV was identified as the 20,24-epimer (20R,24S) of cyclosieversiside G (20S,24R).  相似文献

From the n-BuOH extract of the aerial parts of Genista ulicina, six triterpene saponins, 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-ene-3β,27,28,30-tetraol, 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-ene-3β,27,28,29-tetraol, 3,29-di-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-ene-3β,27,28,29-tetraol, 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-ene-3β,28,29-triol-27-oic acid, 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-ene-3β,27,28-triol-29-oic acid, and 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-14-H-27-nor-olean-12-ene-3β,28,29-triol, were isolated together with eight known triterpene saponins and six flavonoids. Their structures were established mainly by means of spectroscopic methods (1D and 2D-NMR as well as HR-ESI-MS). The n-BuOH extract, investigated for its antitumor growth inhibition of human colon cancer HT-29 cells, presented no significant activity (IC50 > 100 μg).  相似文献
