The investigation of 11 South African Helichrysum species afforded in addition to known compounds 26 further phloroglucinol derivatives, nine diterpenes, a derivative of isocomene and an α-pyrone derivative. The structures were elucidated by highfield NMR spectroscopy and a few chemical transformations. Furthermore the structures of several phloroglucinol derivatives were established by synthesis. The investigation and reinvestigation respectively of 23 Senecio species afforded 11 further cacalol derivatives, a furoeremophilone, 17 eremophilanes, 4 bisabolene derivatives, a shikimic acid derivative, a bis-prenylated p-hydroxybenzaldehyde, menth-2-en- 1,7-diol and a cumol derivative. The configuration of some eremophilanes have been revised. Structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. The results are summarized in a table. The investigation of three Geigeria species and five subspecies afforded, in addition to known compounds, the following 32 new compounds: two geigeranolides with a new carbon skeleton, two xanthanolides, five guaianolides, three pseudoguaianolides, a sesquiterpene related to ivaxillarin, a nerolidol derivative, 15 geranyllinalol derivatives, two thiophene acetylenes and a dimeric coniferyl isobutyrate. The structures and the stereochemistry of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic methods and a few chemical transformation. The aerial parts of Hymenothrix wislzenii afforded, in addition to widespread compounds, a dihydroxy borneol triester, a new guaianolide, three rosane derivatives and two norditerpenes. The structures were elucidated by high field NMR techniques and the absolute configurations were determined by the CD curves of the norrosane derivatives. Glandularia selloi (Verbenaceae) presents phenylethanoids, iridoids and flavone glycosides as the main constituents. Two novel chrysoeriol derivatives, selloiside A (1) and selloiside B (2) were isolated from the methanolic extract of the aerial parts. Both flavones are acylated disaccharides. Two known compounds, verbascoside (3) and 6β-hydroxy-ipolamiide (4), were isolated from the methanolic extract of the roots. The structures were elucidated using 1D, 2D NMR and MS. Acylflavones have taxonomic significance since they occur mainly is species from the order Lamiales, specifically from the family Lamiaceae, closely related to Verbenaceae. The compounds 1 – 4 and the methanolic extract were investigated for antichemotactic activity. 相似文献

A survey of the whole plant of Saussurea parviflora afforded three compounds 11,12,13-trihydroxy-4(15),8-eudesmadiene-9-one, eudesman-8beta,12-olide-1-O-beta-D-glucoside and 1beta,3beta-dihydroxyursa-9(11),12-diene-3-octadecanoate, as well as 13 known compounds. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral evidence, especially by using NMR spectroscopic techniques. From four Schistostephium species, in addition to known compounds, 43 new ones were isolated, three isocomene, two bisabolene, two eudesmane, two allo-himachalene and two nerolidol derivatives, two sesquiterpenes with a new carbon skeleton derived from isocomene, nine eudesmanolides, 20 6,12- and 8,12-germacranolides respectively, and a prostaglandin-like acid. The structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, especially high field 1H NMR and some chemical transformations. The stereochemistry of some 8,12-germacranolides was established by partial synthesis which required revision of the previous assignments of the configuration of inunolide, its 4,5- and 1,10-epoxide, vernudifloride, simsiolide, 6-hydroxy-1,10-epoxyinunolide and perhaps also of tanachin. The roots of Gochnatia polymorpha afforded two new bisabolene derivatives and four dimeric guaianolides, two of them being isolated previously from G. paniculata. The aerial parts gave two further dimeric guaianolides. The aerial parts of G. hypoleuca afforded three new germacran-8,12-olides, a germacranolide acid and four additional dimeric guaianolides, which may be characteristic for this genus, while the presence of oxygenated germacranolides seems to be typical for the whole subtribe. 相似文献

The investigation of the aerial parts of nine Baccharis species from Argentina gave 37 new compounds, seven ent-clerodanes, 13 ent-labdanes, two friedolabdanes, a nor-labdane ketone, seven coumaric acid derivatives, two umbelliferone derivatives, a flavanone, three sesquiterpenes including a nor-furanocadinene and a propiophenone derivative. Ten of the diterpenes were glycosides. The structures and the configurations were determined by highfield NMR spectroscopy and some chemical transformations. The absolute configurations of the diterpenes were proposed following observed Cotton-effects and in one case by using the Horeau-method together with 1H NMR determination of the configuration of the main phenylbutyrate obtained. Methanol extracts of Kaempferia rotunda L. rhizomes yielded seven compounds including six polyoxygenated cyclohexane derivatives identified as (-)-6-acetylzeylenol (1), four acylated derivatives of 1-benzoyloxymethyl-1,6-epoxycyclohexan-2,3,4,5-tetrol (3-6), a Diels-Alder adduct of 3-benzoyl-1-benzoyloxymethylcyclohexa-4,6-dien-2,3-diol (7), and a triacylated derivative of salicin (9). The cyclohexane diepoxide, crotepoxide (8), was also obtained. Spectroscopic methods were used for structure determination. The methanol extract of the rhizomes of K. rotunda and (-)-2-acetyl-4-benzoyl-1-benzoyloxymethyl-1,6-epoxycyclohexan-2,3,4,5-tetrol (2-acetylrotepoxide B; 6), had antifeedant activity against larvae of Spodoptera littoralis. (-)-Zeylenol (2) also showed antifeedant activity, whereas (-)-6-acetylzeylenol (1) was inactive. 相似文献

An investigation of seven Vernonia species, mainly from northern Brazil, afforded in addition to known compounds three new unusual sesquiterpene lactones with an allenic group. Intensive NMR studies fully established the structures. Furthermore, two lactones derived from bourbonene, two new glaucolides, a new furansesquiterpene, a nerolidol derivative and two other sesquiterpenes derived from eudesmane were isolated. The biogenetic relationships of the sesquiterpene lactones present in Veronia species as well as the chemotaxonomic aspects are discussed. 相似文献
