Schiff bases of 2-hydroxybenzophenone (HBP) (C6H5)(2-HOC6H4)CN(CH2)nEAr (L1/L2: E = S, Ar = Ph, n = 2/3; L3/L4: E = Se, Ar = Ph, n = 2/3; L5/L6: E = Te, Ar = 4-MeOC6H4, n = 2/3) and their complexes [PdCl(L-H)] (L = L1L6; 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 11), [PtCl(L3-H/L5-H)] (4/8), [PtCl2(L4/L6)2] (6/12), [(p-cymene)RuCl(L5/L6)]Cl (9/13) and [HgBr2(L5/L6)2] (10/14) have been synthesized and characterized by proton, carbon-13, selenium-77 and tellurium-125 NMR, IR and mass spectra. Single crystal structures of L1, 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7 were solved. The Pd-E bond distances (Å): 2.2563(6) (E = S), 2.3575(6)−2.392(2) (E = Se); 2.5117(5)−2.5198(5) (E = Te) are near the lower end of the bond length range known for them. The Pt-Se bond length, 2.3470(8) Å, is also closer to the short values reported so far. The Heck and Suzuki reaction were carried out using complexes 1, 3, 5 and 7 as catalysts under aerobic condition. The percentage yields for trans product in Heck reaction were found upto 85%.  相似文献

A new series of square planar palladium(II) complexes with pincer ligands, pip2NCN (pip2NCNH = 1,3-bis(piperidylmethyl)benzene) and pip2NNN (2,6-bis(piperidylmethyl)pyridine), has been prepared: Pd(pip2NCN)X (X = Cl, Br, I), [Pd(pip2NCN)(L)](BF4) (L = pyridine, 4-phenylpyridine), and [Pd(pip2NNN)Cl]Cl. The X-ray crystal structures of Pd(pip2NCN)Br, [Pd(pip2NCN)(L)]BF4, and [Pd(pip2NNN)Cl]Cl confirm the tridentate coordination geometries of the pincer ligands. For the pip2NCN complexes, each piperidyl ring adopts a chair conformation with the metal center at an equatorial position on the N(piperidyl) atom. However, one of the piperidyl groups of Pd(pip2NNN)Cl+ adopts a previously unobserved coordination geometry, effectively placing the metal center at an axial position on the N(piperidyl) atom. 1H NMR and UV-Vis absorption measurements provide additional insight into the electronic structures of these complexes. The 1H NMR spectra of Pd(pip2NCN)X (X = Cl, Br, I) are consistent with deshielding of the pip2NCN ligand resonances along the Cl < Br < I series, in opposition to the relative halogen electronegativities. It is suggested that this trend is consistent with decreasing filled/filled repulsions between the dπ orbitals of the metal center and the lone pair orbitals of the halide ligands along this series. Electronic absorption spectra support the notion that ligand-to-metal charge-transfer states are stabilized in these palladium(II) complexes relative to their platinum(II) analogues.  相似文献

The reactions of N,N-dimethylaminopropyl chalcogenolates with platinum(II) compounds have been carried out and complexes of the types [PtCl(ECH2CH2CH2NMe2)]2 (1) (E = S (1a) and Se (1b)), [Pt(ECH2CH2CH2NMe2)2]n (2) (E = S (2a) and Se (2b)), [(PtCl2)2{(Me2NCH2CH2CH2E)2}]n (3), [PtX(SeCH2CH2CH2NMe2)]2 (4) (X = SePh (4a) and OAc (4b)) and [PtCl(ECH2CH2CH2NMe2)(PR3)]n (5) (E = S, Se, Te) have been isolated. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis, NMR (1H, 13C, 31P, 77Se, 195Pt) spectroscopy and FAB mass spectral data. The structures of [PtCl(SeCH2CH2CH2NMe2)]2 (1b) and [PtCl(SCH2CH2CH2NMe2)(PPr3)]2 (5a) have been established by single crystal X-ray diffraction data. Both the molecules have dimeric structures. In 1b, two platinum atoms are held together by symmetrically bridging Se atoms of the chelating selenolate groups. In 5a, two thiolates form a four-membered Pt2S2 bridge with dangling NMe2 groups.  相似文献

Reactions of 1-{[2-(arylazo)phenyl]iminomethyl}-2-phenol, HLsal, 1, [where H represents the dissociable protons upon complexation and aryl groups of HLsal are phenyl for HL1sal, p-methylphenyl for HL2sal, and p-chlorophenyl for HL3sal], ligands with Ru(H)(CO)(Cl)(PPh3)3 afforded complexes of composition [(Lsal)Ru(CO)(Cl)(PPh3)] and (Lsal)2Ru where the N,N,O donor tridentate (Lsal) ligands coordinated the metal centre facially and meridionally, respectively. Stepwise formation of [(Lsal)2Ru] has been ascertained. Reaction of 1-{[2-(arylazo)phenyl]iminomethyl}-2-napthol, HLnap, 2, [where H represents the dissociable protons upon complexation and aryl groups of HLnap are phenyl for HL1nap, p-methylphenyl for HL2nap, and p-chlorophenyl for HL3nap], ligands with Ru(H)(CO)(Cl)(PPh3)3 afforded exclusively the complexes of composition [(Lnap)Ru(CO)(Cl)(PPh3)], where N,N,O donor tridentate (Lnap) was facially coordinated. The ligand 1-{[2-(phenylazo)phenyl]aminomethyl}-2-phenol, HL, 3, was prepared by reducing the aldimine function of HL1sal. Reaction of HL with Ru(PPh3)3Cl2 afforded new azosalen complex of Ru(III) in concert with regiospecific oxygenation of phenyl ring of HL. All the new ligands were characterized by analytical and spectroscopic techniques. The complexes were characterized by analytical and spectroscopic techniques and subsequently confirmed by the determination of X-ray structures of selected complexes.  相似文献

Treatment of the ligands 1,8-bis(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-3,6-dithiaoctane (bddo), 1,9-bis(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-3,7-dithianonane (bddn), and 1,6-bis(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-2,5-dithiahexane (bddh) with several platinum starting materials as K2PtCl4, PtCl2, [PtCl2(CH3CN)2] and [PtCl2(PhCN)2] was developed under different conditions. The reactions did not yield pure products. The ratio of the NSSN, NS, SS, NN, and 2NS isomers has been calculated through NMR experiments. Treatment of the mixtures of complexes with NaBPh4 affords [Pt(NSSN)](BPh4)2 (NSSN = bddo, bddn). These Pt(II) complexes have been characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, IR and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The X-ray structures of the complexes [Pt(NSSN)](BPh4)2 (NSSN = bddo, bddn) have also been determined. In these complexes, the metal atom is tetracoordinated by the two azine nitrogen atoms of the pyrazole rings and two thioether sulfur atoms. When the [Pt(NSSN)](BPh4)2 (NSSN = bddo, bddn) complexes were heated under reflux in a solution of Et4NBr in CH2Cl2/CH3OH (1:1), a mixture of isomers was obtained.  相似文献

A new ligand (HL) obtained from the Schiff base condensation of 4-(diethylamino)salicylaldehyde with 4-nitroaniline is reported, with its nickel(II), copper(II), and cobalt(II) complexes. The crystal structures are reported for the four derivatives. While, NiIIL2 and CuIIL2 are centrosymmetric molecules, CoIIL2 exhibits a pseudo-tetrahedral molecular structure. The quadratic hyperpolarizabilities (β) of HL and CoIIL2, measured by electric field induced second harmonic (EFISH) technique, are equal to 66 and 110 × 10−30 cm5 esu−1, respectively. Beside a geometric effect (pseudo-Td symmetry), the coordination of the metal center provides an intrinsic enhancement of the NLO response. In addition, an enhancement of the thermal stability of about 60° is found upon metal complexation.  相似文献

The reaction of H2[PtCl6] · 6H2O and (H3O)[PtCl5(H2O)] · 2(18C6) · 6H2O (18C6 = 18-crown-6) with 9-methylguanine (MeGua) proceeded with the protonation of MeGua forming 9-methylguaninium hexachloroplatinate(IV) dihydrate (MeGuaH)2[PtCl6] · 2H2O (1).The same compound was obtained from the reaction of Na2[PtCl6] with (MeGuaH)Cl.On the other hand, the reaction of guanosine (Guo) with (H3O)[PtCl5(H2O)] · 2(18C6) · 6H2O in methanol at 60 °C proceeded with the cleavage of the glycosidic linkage and with ligand substitution to give a guaninium complex of platinum(IV), [PtCl5(GuaH)] · 1.5(18C6) · H2O (2).Within several weeks in aqueous solution a slow reduction took place yielding the analogous guaninium platinum(II) complex, [PtCl3(GuaH)] · (18C6) · 2Me2CO (3).H2[PtCl6] · 6H2O and guanosine was found to react in water, yielding (GuoH)2[PtCl6] (4) and in ethanol at 50 °C, yielding [PtCl5(GuoH)] · 3H2O (5).Dissolution of complexes 2 and 5 in DMSO resulted in the substitution of the guaninium and guanosinium ligands, respectively, by DMSO forming [PtCl5(DMSO)].Reactions of 1-methylcytosine (MeCyt) and cytidine (Cyd) with H2[PtCl6] · 6H2O and(H3O)[PtCl5(H2O)] · 2(18C6) · 6H2O resulted in the formation of hexachloroplatinates with N3 protonated pyrimidine bases as cation (MeCytH)2[PtCl6] · 2H2O (6) and (CydH)2[PtCl6] (7), respectively. Identities of all complexes were confirmed by 1H, 13C and 195Pt NMR spectroscopic investigations, revealing coordination of GuoH+ in complex 5 through N7 whereas GuaH+ in complex 3 may be coordinated through N7 or through N9. Solid state structure of hexachloroplatinate 1 exhibited base pairing of the cations yielding (MeGuaH+)2, whereas in complex 6 non-base-paired MeCytH+ cations were found. In both complexes, a network of hydrogen bonds including the water molecules was found. X-ray diffraction analysis of complex 3 exhibited a guaninium ligand that is coordinated through N9 to platinum and protonated at N1, N3 and N7. In the crystal, these NH groups form hydrogen bonds N–HO to oxygen atoms of crown ether molecules.  相似文献

A series of cationic, half-sandwich ruthenium complexes with the general formula [(η6-p-cymene)RuCl(MeSC6H42-NCHAr)][PF6] (3a-h), have been prepared from the reaction of [(η6-p-cymene)RuCl2]2 with various N,S-donor Schiff base ligands derived from 2-(methylthio)aniline and several substituted benzaldehydes. The related aniline complex [(η6-p-cymene)RuCl(MeS-C6H4-2-NH2)][PF6] (4) was synthesized from 2-(methylthio)aniline. All of the ruthenium complexes were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, and UV/Vis spectroscopies. The molecular structure of complex 4 was determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Two new pyrazole-derived ligands, 1-ethyl-3,5-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazole (L1) and 1-octyl-3,5-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazole (L2), both containing alkyl groups at position 1 were prepared by reaction between 3,5-bis(2-pyridyl) pyrazole and the appropriate bromoalkane in toluene using sodium ethoxide as base. The reaction between L1, L2 and [MCl2(CH3CN)2] (M = Pd(II), Pt(II)) resulted in the formation complexes of formula [MCl2(L)] (M = Pd(II), L = L1 (1); M = Pd(II), L = L2 (2); M = Pt(II), L = L1 (3); M = Pt(II), L = L2 (4)). These complexes were characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, infrared, 1H, 13C{1H} NMR and HMQC spectroscopies. The X-ray structure of the complex [PtCl2(L2)] (4) was determined. In this complex, Npyridine and Npyrazole donor atoms coordinate the ligand to the metal, which complete its coordination with two chloro ligands in a cis disposition.  相似文献

Copper(II) and nickel(II) complexes of potentially N2O4 Schiff base ligands 2-({[2-(2-{2-[(1-{2-hydroxy-5-[2-phenyl-1-diazenyl]phenyl}methylidene)amino] phenoxy}ethoxy) phenyl]imino}methyl)4-[2-phenyl-1-diazenyl]phenol (H2L1) and 2-({[2-(4-{2-[(1-{2-hydroxy-5-[2-phenyl-1-diazenyl]phenyl}methylidene)amino] phenoxy}butoxy) phenyl]imino}methyl)4-[2-phenyl-1-diazenyl]phenol (H2L2) prepared of 5-phenylazo salicylaldehyde (1) and two various diamines 2-[2-(2-aminophenoxy)ethoxy]aniline (2) and 2-[4-(2-aminophenoxy)butoxy]aniline (3) were synthesized and characterized by a variety of physico-chemical techniques. The single-crystal X-ray diffractions are reported for CuL1 and NiL2. The CuL1 complex contains copper(II) in a near square-planar environment of N2O2 donors. The NiL2 complex contains nickel(II) in a distorted octahedral geometry coordination of N2O4 donors. In all complexes, H2L1 behaves as a tetradentate and H2L2 acts as a hexadentate ligand. Cyclic voltammetry of copper(II) complexes indicate a quasi-reversible redox wave in the negative potential range.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to synthesize and evaluate plasmid DNA interaction of new platinum(II) complexes with some 2-substituted benzimidazole derivatives as carrier ligands which may have potent anticancer activity and low toxicity. Twelve benzimidazole derivatives carrying indole, 2-/or 3-/or 4-methoxyphenyl, 4-methylphenyl, 3,4-dimethoxyphenyl, 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl, 4-methoxybenzyl, 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl, 3,4,5-trimethoxystyryl, 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzylthio or dimethylamino ethyl groups in their position 2 and twelve platinum(II) complexes with these carrier ligands were synthesized. The chemical structure of the platinum complexes have been characterized by their elemental analysis and FIR, 1H NMR and mass spectra and their 1H NMR and FIR spectra were interpreted by comparison with those of the ligands. The interaction of all the ligands and their complexes with plasmid DNA and their restriction endonuclease reactions by BamHI and HindIII enzymes were studied by agarose gel electrophoresis. It was determined that complex 1 [dichloro-di(2-(1H-indole-3-yl)benzimidazole)platinum(II)·2H2O] has stronger interaction than carboplatin and complex 10 [dichloro-di(2-(3,4,5-trimethoxystyryl)benzimidazole)platinum(II)·2H2O] has stronger interaction than both carboplatin and cisplatin with plasmid DNA.  相似文献

Syntheses of two novel ligand precursors O,O'-diisopropyl- (1a) and O,O'-diisobutyl-(S,S)-ethylenediamine-N,N'-di-2-propanoate dihydrochloride monohydrate (1b) and the corresponding dichloroplatinum(II) (2a and 2b) and tetrachloroplatinum(IV) complexes (3a and 3b) are described here. The substances were characterized by IR, (1)H and (13)C spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Crystal structures were determined for 1a and the corresponding platinum(IV) complex, 3a. In vitro antiproliferative activity was determined against tumor cell lines: human adenocarcinoma HeLa, human myelogenous leukemia K562, human malignant melanoma Fem-x, rested and stimulated normal immunocompetent cells (human peripheral blood mononuclear PBMC cells) using KBR test (Kenacid Blue Dye binding test). The IC(50)(microM) values for the most active compound 3a were: 30.48+/-2.54; 12.26+/-2.60; 13.68+/-3.22; 80.18+/-24.07 and 71.30+/-21.70, respectively.  相似文献

The new pyrazole ligand 5-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-methyl-1-(2-pyridylo)-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid methyl ester (2) and the corresponding Pt(II), Pd(II) and Cu(II) complexes 3-5 have been synthesized as potential anticancer compounds, and characterized using IR, and (1)H NMR as well as mass spectrometry. The 3-D structures of the Cu(II) complexes were determined by quantum mechanic calculation DFT methodology (density functional theory). The cytotoxicity assay of the ligand and complexes has been performed on leukemia cell lines. In general, the complexes showed lower cytotoxicity than cisplatin, and the Pt(II) and Cu(II) complexes were found to be more efficient in the induction of leukemia cell death than the Pd(II) complex. Our investigations indicate that the antiproliferating activity of the Pt(II) and Cu(II) complexes was partly due to the modulation of cellular differentiation.  相似文献

Starting from the heterotopic multidentate ligand 1,2-phenylenebis(thio)diacetic acid (1), cis-rac-[PdCl2{1,2-(HOOCCH2S)2C6H42S,S′}] (2), cis-rac-[Rh{1,2-(HOOCCH2S)2C6H42S,S′}(cod)]BF4 (3) and cis-rac-[Ni{1,2-(OOCCH2S)2C6H44O,OS,S′}{cis-(C3H4N2)}2] (4) were prepared and characterised by X-ray diffraction and conventional spectroscopic techniques. Compounds 1-4 show extensive hydrogen-bonded networks (XH?O, X = O, N) in the solid state.  相似文献

Bis-bidentate Schiff base ligand L and its two mononuclear complexes [CuL(CH3CN)2]ClO4 (1) and [CuL(PPh3)2]ClO4 (2) have been prepared and thoroughly characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV-Vis, NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. In both the complexes the metal ion auxiliaries adopt tetrahedral coordination environment. Their reactivity, electrochemical and photophysical behavior have been studied. Complex 1 shows reversible CuII/I couple with potential 0.74 V versus Ag/AgCl in CH2Cl2. At room temperature L is weakly fluorescent in CH2Cl2, however in Cu(I) complexes 1 and 2 the emission in quenched.  相似文献

The reaction of [PdCl(Me)(cod)] (cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) with tridentate bis(pyrazolyl) ligands affords the alkyl-palladium(II) complexes [Pd(CH3)(NZN)][BF4] (1, NZN = 1,1′-(2,2′-oxybis(ethane-2,1-diyl)bis(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole); 2, NZN = bis[2-(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)ethyl]sulfane) in good yield. Compounds 1-2 were characterized by elemental analysis, multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray structural analysis. Single crystal X-ray structural analyses indicate that the complexes are monomeric and the palladium center resides in a slightly distorted square planar environment. Furthermore, despite their intrinsic similarity, the NON and NSN ligands adopt different coordination modes around the palladium metal center. Additionally, the [PdCl2(NON)] (3) was shown to be an efficient catalyst precursor for the coupling of aryl bromides and iodides with arylboronic acids, esters and borate salts.  相似文献

Nickel Superoxide Dismutase (NiSOD) and the A-cluster of Carbon Monoxide Dehydrogenase/Acetyl Coenzyme A Synthase (CODH/ACS) both feature active sites with Ni coordinated by thiolate and amide donors. It is likely that the particular set of donors is important in tuning the redox potential of the Ni center(s). We report herein an expansion of our efforts involving the use of 2,2′-dithiodibenzaldehyde (DTDB) as a synthon for metal-thiolate complexes to reactions with Ni complexes of N,N-dimethylethylenediamine (dmen). In the presence of coordinating counterions, these reactions result in monomeric square-planar complexes of the tridentate N2S donor ligand derived from the Schiff-base condensation of dmen and DTDB. In the absence of a coordinating counterion, we have isolated a Ni(II) complex with an asymmetric N2S2 donor set involving one amine and one imine N donor in addition to two thiolate donors. This latter complex is discussed with respect to its relevance to the active site of NiSOD.  相似文献

Two new 3,5-dimethylpyrazolic derived ligands that are N1-substituted by diamine chains, 1-[2-(diethylamino)ethyl]-3,5-dimethylpyrazole (L1) and 1-[2-(dioctylamino)ethyl]-3,5-dimethylpyrazole (L2) were synthesised. Reaction of the ligands, L1 and L2, with [MCl2(CH3CN)2] yielded [MCl2(L)] (M = Pd(II), Pt(II)) complexes. These complexes were characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, IR, 1H, 13C{1H} and 195Pt{1H} NMR spectroscopies. The crystal structure of [PdCl2(L1)] was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The structure consists of mononuclear units. The Pd(II) atom is coordinated by a pyrazolic nitrogen, an amine nitrogen and two chlorine atoms in a cis disposition. In this structure, C-H?Cl, C-H?H-C and C-H?C-H intermolecular interactions have been identified.  相似文献

Reaction of cis-[Ru(acac)22-C8H14)2] (1) (acac = acetylacetonato) with two equivalents of PiPr3 in THF at −25 °C gives trans-[Ru(acac)2(PiPr3)2], trans-3, which rapidly isomerizes to cis-3 at room temperature. The poorly soluble complex [Ru(acac)2(PCy3)2] (4), which is isolated similarly from cis-[Ru(acac)22-C2H4)2] (2) and PCy3, appears to exist in the cis-configuration in solution according to NMR data, although an X-ray diffraction study of a single crystal shows the presence of trans-4. In benzene or toluene 2 reacts with PiPr3 or PCy3 to give exclusively cis-[Ru(acac)22-C2H4)(L)] [L = PiPr3 (5), PCy3 (6)], whereas in THF species believed to be either square pyramidal [Ru(acac)2L], with apical L, or the corresponding THF adducts, can be detected by 31P NMR spectroscopy. Complexes 3-6 react with CO (1 bar) giving trans-[Ru(acac)2(CO)(L)] [L = PiPr3 (trans-8), PCy3 (trans-9)], which are converted irreversibly into the cis-isomers in refluxing benzene. Complex 5 scavenges traces of dinitrogen from industrial grade dihydrogen giving a bridging dinitrogen complex, cis-[{Ru(acac)2(PiPr3)} 2(μ-N2)] (10). The structures of cis-3, trans-4, 5, 6 and 10 · C6H14 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complexes trans- and cis-3, 5, 6, cis-8, and trans- and cis-9 each show fully reversible one-electron oxidation by cyclic voltammetry in CH2Cl2 at −50 °C with E1/2(Ru3+/2+) values spanning −0.14 to +0.92 V (versus Ag/AgCl), whereas for the vinylidene complexes [Ru(acac)2 (CCHR)(PiPr3)] [R = SiMe3 (11), Ph (12)] the process is irreversible at potentials of +0.75 and +0.62 V, respectively. The trend in potentials reflects the order of expected π-acceptor ability of the ligands: PiPr3, PCy3 <C 2H4 < CCHR < CO. The UV-Vis spectrum of the thermally unstable, electrogenerated RuIII-ethene cation 6+ has been observed at −50 °C. Cyclic voltammetry of the μ-dinitrogen complex 10 shows two, fully reversible processes in CH2Cl2 at −50 °C at +0.30 and +0.90 V (versus Ag/AgCl) corresponding to the formation of 10+ (RuII,III) and 102+ (RuIII,III). The former, generated electrochemically at −50 °C, shows a band in the near IR at ca. 8900 cm−1 (w1/2 ca. 3700 cm−1) consistent with the presence of a valence delocalized system. The comproportionation constant for the equilibrium 10 + 102+ ? 2 10+ at 223 K is estimated as 1013.6.  相似文献
