A new one-dimensional copper(II) polymer, [Cu4(dmapox)2(SCN)4(CH3CH2OH)2]n · 2nCH3CH2OH, where dmapox is the dianion of N,N′-bis[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]oxamide, was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity measurement, IR and electronic spectral studies. The crystal structure of the copper(II) complex has been determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The complex crystallizes in triclinic, space group and exhibits infinite one-dimensional copper(II) polymeric chain bridged both by the bis-tridentate μ-trans-dmapox and μ-1,3-thiocyanate ligands. The environment around the copper(II) atom can be described as distorted square-pyramid. The Cu···Cu separations through μ-trans-oxamidate and thiocyanate bridges are 5.245(5) Å (Cu1-Cu1i)(i = −x+1, −y, −z+1), 5.262(4) Å (Cu2-Cu2ii)(ii = −x,−y, −z+1) and 6.022(3) Å (Cu1-Cu2), respectively. The interaction of the copper(II) complex with herring sperm DNA (HS-DNA) has been investigated by using absorption and emission spectral and electrochemical techniques and viscometry. The results reveal that the copper(II) complex interacts with the DNA in the mode of groove binding with the intrinsic binding constant of 2.38 × 105 M−1.  相似文献

A two-dimensional copper(II) polymer with formula of [Cu4(H2O)4(dmapox)2(btc)]n · 10nH2O, where dmapox is the dianion of N,N′-bis[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]oxamide and btc is the tetra-anion of 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid, was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity measurement, IR and electronic spectral studies. The crystal structure of the complex has been determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The structure consists of crystallized water molecules and neutral two-dimensional copper(II) coordination polymeric networks constructed both by the bis-tridentate μ-trans-dmapox and tetra-monodentate μ4-btc bridging ligands. Each btc ligand links four trans-dmapox-bridged binuclear copper(II) building blocks [Cu2(H2O)2(trans-dmapox)]2+ and each binuclear copper(II) building block attaches to two btc ligands forming an infinite 2D layer which consists of 4+4 grids with dimensions of 13.563(5) × 15.616(5) Å. The environment around the copper(II) atom can be described as a distorted square-pyramid and the Cu?Cu separations through μ-trans-dmapox and μ4-btc bridging ligands are 5.225 Å (Cu1-Cu1i), 5.270 Å (Cu2-Cu2ii), 6.115 Å (Cu1-Cu2), 9.047 Å (Cu1-Cu2iii) and 10.968 Å (Cu1-Cu1iii), respectively. Abundant hydrogen bonds among the crystallized, the coordinated water molecules, and the uncoordinated carboxyl oxygen atoms cross-link the two-dimensional layers into an overall three-dimensional channel-like framework. The interaction of the copper(II) polymer with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) has been investigated by using absorption, emission spectral and electrochemical techniques. The results indicate that the copper(II) polymer interacts with DNA strongly (Kb = 4.8 × 105 M−1 and Ksv = 1.1 × 104) and the interaction mode between the copper(II) polymer and DNA may be the groove binding. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report about the crystal structure and DNA-binding studies of a two-dimensional copper(II) polymer bridged both by the trans-oxamidate and btc ligands.  相似文献

A new rare variety asymmetric μ2-1,1-azido bridged copper(II) complex has been synthesized and characterized structurally and magnetically. The complex [Cu2L22-1,1-N3)2] · H2O · CH3OH (L = 1-(N-ortho-hydroxyacetophenimine)-2-aminoethane) (1), crystallizes in monoclinic space group, P21/n, with a = 9.469(4) Å, b = 12.526(8) Å, c = 12.899(10) Å, β = 105.79(6)°, V = 1472.2(16) Å3. X-ray study reveals that he Cu-N(azide)-Cu angles in this complex is 90.4°. This is unusually low in comparison to that of the same angle in other end-on azido-bridged binuclear complexes. Though a strong ferromagnetic interaction between the metal centers is expected in the complex, the coupling has actually been found to be antiferromagnetic (J = −4.2 cm−1), instead. To rationalize this paradoxical magnetic behavior, DFT calculation of this and other four complexes with very similar structure have been performed within broken symmetry framework. The calculated magnetic coupling constants (J) are in excellent agreement, both in sign and in the magnitude of the exchange interaction, with the experimental data, and the spin density map is correctly reproduced.  相似文献

Five new α-aminophosphonates are synthesized and characterized by EA, FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 31P NMR, ESI-MS and X-ray crystallography. The X-ray analyses reveal that the crystal structures of 1–5 are monoclinic or triclinic system with the space group P 21/c, P  1, P  1, P2(1)/c and P  1, respectively. All P atoms of 1–5 have tetrahedral geometries involving two O-ethyl groups, one Cα atom, and a double bond O atom. The binding interaction of five new α-aminophosphonate N-derivatives (1–5) with calf thymus(CT)-DNA have been investigated by UV–visible and fluorescence emission spectrometry. The apparent binding constant (Kapp) values follows the order: 1 (3.38 × 105 M−1) > 2 (3.04 × 105 M−1) > 4 (2.52 × 105 M−1) > 5 (2.32 × 105 M−1) > 3 (2.10 × 105 M−1), suggesting moderate intercalative binding mode between the compounds and DNA. In addition, fluorescence spectrometry of bovine serum albumin (BSA) with the compounds 1–5 showed that the quenching mechanism might be a static quenching procedure. For the compounds 1–5, the number of binding sites were about one for BSA and the binding constants follow the order: 1 (2.72 × 104 M−1) > 2 (2.27 × 104 M−1) > 4 (2.08 × 104 M−1) > 5 (1.79 × 104 M−1) > 3 (1.17 × 104 M−1). Moreover, the DNA cleavage abilities of 1 exhibit remarkable changes and the in vitro cytotoxicity of 1 on tumor cells lines (MCF-7, HepG2 and HT29) have been examined by MTT and shown antitumor effect on the tested cells.  相似文献

The synthesis, by fixation of SO2, the unusual crystal structure, and the spectral and redox properties of the new compound [Cu4(TPPNOL)2(μ-SO4)2](ClO4)2 (1) [HTPPNOL (N,N,N′-tris-(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,3-diaminopropan-2-ol)] are reported. In 1, the copper(II) ions are bridged by the alkoxo oxygen atoms of the HTPPNOL ligand and by exogenous sulfate bridges. The structure of 1 consists of a centro-symmetric tetranuclear core or a “Dimer of Dimers” complex, in which a μ-O,O′ sulfate oxygen atom is further coordinated to the copper centre of another similar dinuclear unit through a μ-O,O, sulfate bridge resulting in a tetranuclear arrangement. Thus, the dinuclear units are linked by two μ-O,O sulfate bridges. The simultaneous presence of two distinct coordination modes for the sulfate group in this structure is rare and 1 represents the first coordination compound presenting μ-O,O′ and μ-O,O type structures. The SO2 fixation was monitored by changes in the electronic spectra which indicated the formation of the intermediate hydroxo complex [Cu2(TPPNOL)(OH)2]+, in basic medium, which, we propose, acts as the nucleophile in the SO2 fixation mechanism.  相似文献

Abstract

Two new nickel (II) triphenylphosphine complexes derived from tridentate aroylhydrazone ligands [H2L1 = 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)benzohydrazone and H2L2 = N′-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)-2-hydroxybenzoylhydrazone] and triphenylphosphine were prepared and their molecular structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Both nickel(II) complexes showed slightly distorted square planar geometry with one tridentate aroylhydrazone ligand coordinated through ONO donor atoms and one triphenylphosphine ligand coordinated to the nickel center through the phosphorus atom. DNA interaction studies indicated that both complexes possessed higher affinity to herring sperm DNA (HS-DNA) than the corresponding free aroylhydrazone ligand. Molecular docking investigations showed that both complexes could bind to DNA through intercalation of the phenyl rings between adjacent base pairs in the double helix. Meanwhile, bovine serum albumin (BSA) binding studies revealed the complexes could effectively interact with BSA and change the secondary structure of BSA. Further pharmacological evaluations of the synthesized complexes by in vitro antioxidant assays demonstrated high antioxidant activity against NO· and O2˙? radicals. The anticancer activity of each complex was assessed through in vitro cytotoxicity assays (CCK-8 kit) toward A549 and MCF-7 cancer cell and normal L-02 cell lines. Significantly, the Ni(II) complex derived from H2L1 ligand was found to be more effective cytotoxic toward MCF-7cancerous cell with the IC50 value equaled 9.7?μM, which showed potent cytotoxic activity over standard drug cisplatin.

The derivatives of Cu(OAc)2 · H2O with 2-methylaminopyridine and 3-aminomethylpyridine, [Cu2(μ-OAc)4(MeNHpy)2] (1) and [Cu(OAc)2(μ-NH2CH2py)(H2O)]n (2), respectively, have been synthesized and characterized. Compound 1 shows the dimer structure of [Cu2(μ-OAc)4(H2O)2], with four syn-syn bridging acetate groups and the MeNHpy ligand coordinated in the axial positions. It is antiferromagnetic (2J=−285 cm−1). Signals of the triplet state are observed in its EPR spectrum and the zero-field splitting parameter has been calculated (D=0.36 cm−1; g=2.35; g=2.07). Otherwise, the ligand 3-aminomethylpyridine acts as bridging bidentate ligand in compound 2, forming infinite zig-zag chains. Each copper atom lies in a square-planar pyramidal coordination, determined by two nitrogen atoms of two bridge ligands, two oxygen atoms of two monodentate terminal acetate groups and a water molecule. The parallel chains form a sheet because of the hydrogen bonds between them. The shortest Cu-Cu distances are: 5.1270, 6.0952 and 6.2163 Å (inter-chains) and 7.875 Å (intra-chain). Compound 2 shows a slight antiferromagnetic effect below 30 K. The EPR spectra show an orthorhombic signal (g1=2.26; g2=2.08; g3=2.06).  相似文献

A new polynuclear copper (II) complex, derived from the azido-bridging ligand and 2-aminopyrimidine, has been synthesized and its 3-D structure has been determined by X-ray diffraction methods at two different temperatures. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic system space group, with the central copper atom lying on an inversion centre. The crystal structure is built up by trinuclear units (each of them contains two double end-on azido bridges) linked through two azide ions in an end-to-end (EE) fashion, to yield the polymer chain [Cu3(ampym)21,1-N3)41,3-N3)2(dmf)2]n. Magnetic susceptibility measurement shows a ferromagnetic interaction above 30 K, whereas a weak anti-ferromagnetic interaction prevails in the range of 30-2 K.  相似文献

The heme iron of the β chains of mammalian hemoglobins are rapidly and selectively oxidized in the presence of excess Cu(II) ions in a reaction that requires the presence of a free -SH groups on the β globin chain. The presence of freely reactive -SH groups on the α chains of cat and sheep hemoglobins does not alter the course of this reaction: only the β hemes are oxidized rapidly by Cu(II) in these hemoglobins. Two equivalents of copper are required for the rapid oxidation of the two β chain hemes per mole of cat hemoglobin, in contrast with the four equivalents that are required for reaction with human hemoglobin. The human-cat hybrid hemoglobins, α2Humanβ2Cat and α2Catβ2Human, required two and four equivalents of copper/mol, respectively, for the reaction. Thus, the kinetics and stoichimetry of the reaction are determined by the nature of the β subunit. Analysis of the esr spectra of the products of the reaction of Cu(II) with these hemoglobins indicate that human hemoglobin and the hybrid α2Catβ2Human contain tight binding sites for two equivalents of Cu(II) that are not involved in the oxidation reaction and are not present in cat hemoglobin or α2Humanβ2Cat. Cat β globin like others (sheep, bovine) that lack the tight binding site, has no histidine residue at 2β. It has phenylalanine in this position. These results support the suggestion of Rifkind et al. (Biochemistry 15,5337[1976]) that the tight binding site is near the amino terminal region of the β chain and is associated with histidine 2β.  相似文献

Starting from two carbocyclic analogs, a series of 3,3-dimethylpiperidine derivatives was prepared and tested in radioligand binding assays at σ1 and σ2 receptors, and at Δ8–Δ7 sterol isomerase (SI) site. The novel compounds mostly bear heterocyclic rings or bicyclic nucleus of differing lipophilicities. Compounds 18a and 19a,b demonstrated the highest σ1 affinity (Ki = 0.14–0.38 nM) with a good selectivity versus σ2 binding. Among them, 18a had the lowest C log D value (3.01) and only 19b was selective versus SI too. Generally, it was observed that more planar and hydrophilic heteronuclei conferred a decrease in affinity for both σ receptor subtypes.  相似文献

The thermal reaction of Ru3(CO)12 with the biologically active acids acetyl salicylic acid (Aspirin), α-methyl-4-(isobutyl)phenylacetic acid (Ibuprofen) and 3α,7α,12α-trihydroxy-5β-cholanic acid (cholic acid) in refluxing tetrahydrofuran, followed by addition of triphenylphosphine, gives the dinuclear complexes Ru2(CO)4(OOCR)2(PPh3)2 (1: R = C6H4-2-OCOMe, 2: R = CHMe-C6H4-4-Bui, 3: C23H39O3). The single-crystal structural analysis of 1 and 2 reveals a dinuclear Ru2(CO)4 sawhorse structure, the diruthenium backbone being bridged by the carboxylato ligands, while the two phosphine ligands occupy the axial positions at the ruthenium atoms. However, chiral carbon atoms in the carboxylic acid undergo racemisation during the thermal reaction.  相似文献

A novel copper complex of [Cu(bpy)(pba)2 · H2O] · 0.5H2O (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, pba = p-methylbenzoate) was synthesized. The interaction of the complex to native fish sperm DNA was investigated through electrochemistry, electronic absorption spectroscopy and viscosity experiments. In the X-ray crystallography structure, the copper (II) ion is coordinated by two oxygen atoms of two p-methylbenzoate groups, two nitrogen atoms of 2,2′-bipyridine and one water molecule. The observed changes in the physicochemical features of the copper (II) complex on binding to DNA suggested that the complex bind to DNA with intercalation mode via 2,2′-bipyridine ring into DNA base pairs. Electrochemical studies revealed that the complex prefer to bind to DNA in Cu(I) form rather than Cu(II) oxidation state form. Additionally, the nuclease activity of the title complex was assessed by gel electrophoresis assay and the results shown that the copper complex can cleave pBR322 DNA effectively in the presence of ascorbic acid.  相似文献

A new copper(II) complex with chloride bridges and mixed blocking ligands, [{Cu(pzPh)(Opo)}2(μ-Cl)2] (1), whereby pzPh = 3-phenyl-pyrazolyl, and OpoH = 2-hydroxypyridine-N-oxide, has been obtained by degrading tris(pyrazolyl)borate in the presence of hydrated CuCl2 salt and the ligand Opo. The molecular structure of 1 was solved by X-ray diffraction. The two Cu(II) atoms of the dinuclear complex have a pyramidal arrangement in which the two pyramids share one base-to-apex edge with parallel basal planes. Magnetic susceptibility measurements revealed ferromagnetic coupling between the Cu atoms, with J = +8.72 cm−1. X-band EPR spectra of CH2Cl2 solutions of 1 were recorded at different temperatures.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of di-nuclear HfIV and ZrIV complexes (the Dawson 2:2-type complexes) sandwiched between 2 mono-lacunary α2-Dawson polyoxometalate (POM) ligands, i.e., (Me2NH2)14[{α2-P2W17O61Hf(μ-OH)(H2O)}2]·17H2O (Me2NH2-1) and (Me2NH2)14[{α2-P2W17O61Zr(μ-OH)(H2O)}2]·16H2O (Me2NH2-2) are described. [Note: the moieties of their polyoxoanions are abbreviated simply as 1 and 2, respectively.] A pair of HfIV- and ZrIV-containing POMs belonging to the same family were herein isolated as dimethylammonium salts and were unambiguously characterized by complete elemental analysis, in addition to potassium analysis, TG/DTA, FTIR, single-crystal X-ray structure analysis, and solid-state (31P CPMAS) and solution (31P and 183W) NMR spectroscopy. Polyoxoanions 1 and 2 were isostructural with each other. The central [M2(μ-OH)2(H2O)2]6+ (M = Hf, Zr) cation unit was composed of 2 polyhedral M units, which were linked through 2 μ-OH groups and contained 1 water molecule coordinated to each metal center. Since the mono-lacunary Dawson POM acts as an oxygen-donor quadridentate ligand, the Hf and Zr centers are 7-coordinate. The Dawson 2:2-type complexes were converted to the Dawson 1:2-type complexes [M(α2-P2W17O61)2]16− (M = Hf, Zr), or vice versa, in solution under appropriate conditions. Also, the Dawson 2:2-type complex can be reversibly converted to the 1:1-type complex under the pH-dependent conditions. The Dawson 2:2-type POMs 1 and 2 can be compared with the recently reported, Keggin 2:2-type POMs, i.e., [M2(μ-OH)2(H2O)2]6+ (M = Hf, Zr) complexes sandwiched between 2 mono-lacunary α-Keggin POM ligands.  相似文献

Two novel cluster polymers {[NMe4]2[MoOS3Cu32-I)3]} 1 and {[NMe4]2[WOS3Cu32-I)3]}n2 have been prepared. Bithiometalates MO2S22− (M=Mo,W), CuI, Me4NBr and 4,4-trimethylene-dipyridine(tdp) reacted in solid state under low-heating temperature resulting in these two clusters. X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that the two polymers have the same two-dimensional network structures, which are formed from nest-shaped units along crystallographic b and c directions. I atoms take on a μ2-fashion in bridging all the units. An alternative view along crystallographic a direction shows that they are layered features. Their third-order non-linear optical (NLO) properties were determined by Z-scan techniques. Both compounds possess very strong NLO refractive effect with n2 value of −5.02 × 10−17 m2W−1 for 1 and 1.20 × 10−16 m2W−1 for 2, respectively. Different from routine work, there is an alternation from cluster polymer 1-2 in their optical properties: 1 shows self-defocusing behavior, while 2 gives self-focusing effect. Effective third-order NLO susceptibilities χ(3) were calculated to be 4.90 × 10−11 esu 1 and 1.48 × 10−9 esu 2. The corresponding hyperpolarizabilities γ are 3.39 × 10−28 and 1.02 × 10−26 esu, respectively.  相似文献

Copper(II) ,-dicarboxylate complexes of general formulae, [Cu(O2C(CH2)nCO2)]·xH2O, [Cu(O2C(CH2)nCO2) (phen)2xH2O and [Cu(O2C(CH2)nCO2)(bipy)yxH2O (n=1–8; y=1, 2; phen = 1,10-phenanthroline; bipy = 2,2-bipyridine) were synthesised. These copper complexes, some related manganese(II) complexes and the metal-free ligands were screened in vitro for their ability to inhibit the growth of Candida albicans. Metal-free 1,10-phenanthroline and all of the copper(II) and manganese(II) phenanthroline complexes were potent growth inhibitors, with only one bipyridine complex, [Cu(O2C(CH2)CO2)(bipy)2]·2H2O, having moderate activity. The remaining substances were effectively inactive. Complexes which were active against C. albicans also proved effective against C. glabrata, C. tropicalis and C. kreusi with the manganese complexes retaining superior activity. For the phenanthroline complexes the active drug species is thought to be the dication [M(phen)2(H2O)n]2+ (M = Cu, Mn). Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were resistant to all of the metal complexes and also to metal-free 1,10-phenanthroline. Only the copper phenanthroline complexes showed intermediate activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa.  相似文献

The cationic carbyne complex [Cp(CO)2MnCC6H5]BBr4 (1) reacts with PPN[Rh(CO)4] (2) to give the title cluster [(μ3-CC6H5)(μ-CC6H5) Rh2Mn2Cp2(μ-CO)3(CO)3] (3) whose structure has been determined by X-ray diffraction. The electrochemical properties of 3 have been investigated using cyclic voltammetric method. At 60 °C and 2.0 MPa of initial total CO/H2 (1:1) pressure, the catalytic activity of 3 towards hydroformylation of styrene has also been checked.  相似文献
