Herein, we report the syntheses, spectral and structural characterization, and magnetic behavior of four new dinuclear terephthalato-bridged copper(II) complexes with formulae [Cu2(trpn)2(μ-tp)](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (1), [Cu2(aepn)2(μ-tp)(ClO4)2] (2), [Cu2(Medpt)2(μ-tp)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (3) and [Cu2(Et2dien)2(μ-tp)(H2O)](ClO4)2 (4) where tp = terephthalate dianion, trpn = tris(3-aminopropyl)-amin, aepn = N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine, Medpt = 3,3′-diamino-N-methyldipropylmine and Et2dien = N,N-diethyldiethylenetriamine. The structures of these complexes consist of two μ-tp bridging Cu(II) centers in a bis(monodentate) bonding fashion. The coordination geometry of the Cu(II) ions in these compounds may be described as close to square-based pyramid (SP) with severe significant distortion towards trigonal bipyramid (TBP) stereochemistry in 1. The visible spectra of the complexes in aqueous solutions are in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the Cu(II) centers. Also, the solid infrared spectral data for the stretching frequencies of the tp-carboxalato groups, the ν(COO−) reveals the existence of bis(monodentate) coordination mode for the bridged terephthalate ligand. The susceptibility measurements at variable temperature over the range 2-300 K are reported. Despite the same bonding mode of the tp bridging ligand, there has been observed slight antiferromagnetic coupling for the compounds 1 and 4 with J values of −0.5 and −2.9 cm3 K mol−1, respectively, and very weak ferromagnetic coupling for 2 and 3 with J values of 0.8 and 10.1 cm3 K mol−1, respectively. The magnetic results are discussed in relation to other related μ-terephthalato dinuclear Cu(II) published compounds. 相似文献

The dinuclear terephthalato-bridged nickel(II) complexes [Ni2(cyclen)2(μ-tp)](ClO4)2 (1) [Ni2(trpn)2(μ-tp)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (2) and [Ni2(3,3,3-tet)2(μ-tp)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (3), where tp = terephthalate dianion, cyclen = 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane, trpn = tris(3-aminopropyl)amine and 3,3,3-tet = 1,5,9,13-tetraazatridecane, were synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. Their magnetic susceptibilities were also determined at variable temperatures over the range 2-300 K. The structures of these complexes consist of μ-tp bridging two Ni(II) centers in a bis(bidentate) bonding fashion in 1 and in bis(monodentate) bonding fashion in 2 and 3. The coordination geometry around the Ni(II) ions in these compounds has a distorted octahedral geometry with four nitrogen atoms from the amine ligand (cyclen, trpn or 3,3,3-tet) and two coordinated oxygen atoms supplied by the chelated carboxylate group of the bridged terephthalate ligand in 1, and by one tp-carboxylate-oxygen in 2 and 3. The sixth coordination site in the last two complexes 2 and 3 is achieved via an oxygen atom from a coordinated water molecule. The intradimer Ni…Ni distances in these complexes are 10.740, 11.428 and 11.537 Å for 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The electronic spectra of the complexes in aqueous solutions are in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the Ni(II) centers. Also, the analysis of the infrared spectral data for the ν(COO−) stretching frequencies of the tp-carboxalato groups reveals the existence of the bis(bidentate) and bis(monodentate) coordination modes for the bridged terephthalate ligand in 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Despite the different coordination modes of the tp bridging ligand in these complexes, they all exhibit very weak antiferromagnetic coupling. The coupling constants J were found to be −2.2, −0.6 and −1.5 cm3 K mol−1 for the complexes 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The structural and magnetic results of 1-3 are discussed in relation to the other related published μ-terephthalato dinuclear Ni(II) compounds. 相似文献

The dinuclear dicarboxylato-bridged copper(II) complexes [Cu2(TPA)2(μ-tp)](ClO4)2 · H2O (1), [Cu2(TPA)2(μ-fum)](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (2) and [Cu2(pmedien)2(μ-fum)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (3) (tp = terephthalate dianion, fum = fumarate dianion, TPA = tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine and pmedien = N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine) were synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The structures of the TPA complexes 1 and 2 consist of μ-tp or μ-fum bridging two Cu(II) centers in a bis(monodentate) bonding fashion. The coordination geometry around the Cu(II) ions in these compounds has a distorted trigonal bipyamidal geometry, TBP with four nitrogen atoms from the TPA ligand and a coordinated oxygen atom supplied by the carboxylate group of the bridged dicarboxylato ligand. Complex 3 has a distorted square pyramidal geometry achieved by the three N-atoms of the pmedien, one fum-carboxylate-oxygen and by an oxygen atom from a coordinated water molecule. The intradimer Cu…Cu distances in these complexes are 11.078(3), 8.663(4) and 9.520(3) Å for 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The electronic spectra of the complexes in aqueous solutions are in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the Cu(II) centers. Also, analysis of the infrared spectral data for the ν(COO−) stretching frequencies of the tp-carboxalato groups reveals the existence of the bis(mondentate) coordination mode for the bridged dicarboxylato ligands in compounds 1 and 2. The susceptibility measurements at variable temperature over the 2-300 K range are reported. For 1-3, it has been observed slight antiferromagnetic coupling with J values of −0.8, −3.0 and −2.9 cm−1, respectively. 相似文献

A new series of dinuclear squarato-bridged nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes [Ni2(2,3,2-tet)2(μ1,3-C4O4)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (1), [Ni2(aepn)2(μ1,3-C4O4)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (2), [Cu2(pmedien)2(μ1,3-C4O4)(H2O)2](ClO4)2.4H2O (3) and [Cu2(DPA)2(μ1,2-C4O4)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (4) where is the dianion of 3,4-dihydroxycyclobut-3-en-1,2-dione (squaric acid), 2,3,2-tet = 1,4,8,11-tetraazaundecane, aepn = N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine, pmedien = N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine and DPA = di(2-pyridylmethyl)amine were synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The spectral and structural characterization as well as the magnetic behaviour of these complexes is reported. In this series, structures consist of the groups as counter ions and the bridging the two M(II) centers in a μ-1,3- (1-3) and in a μ-1,2-bis(monodentate) (4) bonding fashions. The coordination geometry around the Ni(II) ions in 1 and 2 is six-coordinate with distorted octahedral environment achieved by N atoms of the amines and by one or two oxygen atoms from coordinated water molecules, respectively. In the Cu(II) complexes 3 and 4, a distorted square pyramidal geometry is achieved by the three N-atoms of the aepn or DPA and by an oxygen atom from a coordinated water molecule. The electronic spectra of the complexes in aqueous solutions are in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the M(II) centers. The complexes show weak antiferromagnetic coupling with ∣J∣ = 1.8-4.2 cm−1 in the μ-1,3- bridged squarato compounds 1-3, and J = −16.1 cm−1 in the corresponding μ-1,2- bridged squarato complex 4. The magnetic properties are discussed in relation to the structural data. 相似文献

The dihydroxo-bridged dinuclear copper(II) compound [Cu2(dpyam)2(μ-OH)2]I2 (1) and the triply bridged dinuclear copper(II) compounds with a formato bridge [Cu2(dpyam)2(μ-O2CH)(μ-OH)(μ-OMe)](ClO4) (2) and [Cu2(dpyam)2(μ-O2CH)(μ-OH)(μ-Cl)](ClO4) · 0.5H2O (3) (in which dpyam=di-2-pyridylamine) have been synthesized and their crystal structures determined by X-ray crystallographic methods. All three compounds are either centrosymmetric, or have a symmetry plane in the molecule. Compound 1 contains the [Cu2(dpyam)2(μ-OH)2]+ unit and iodide anions. Each copper(II) ion is in a slightly tetrahedrally distorted square planar coordination with the square plane consisting of two nitrogen atoms of the dpyam ligand and two bridging hydroxo groups. The Cu-I distances of 3.321 Å are quite long and only involve a weak semi-coordination. Compound 2 contains a triply bridged dinuclear copper(II) species, the coordination environment around each copper(II) ion involves a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal CuN2O3 chromophore. In the dinuclear unit of compound 3, the triply bridged copper(II) ions show a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal coordination of the CuN2O2Cl chromophore. The Cu-Cu distances are 2.933(2), 3.023(1) and 3.036(1) Å for compounds 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The magnetic susceptibility measurements, measured from 5 to 280 K, revealed a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between the Cu(II) atoms for compound 1 with a singlet-triplet energy gap (J) of −15.3 cm−1, whereas compounds 2 and 3 are ferromagnetic with J=62.5 and 79.1 cm−1, respectively. 相似文献

A dinickel(II) complex [Ni2(sym-hmp)2](BPh4)2·3.5DMF·0.5(2-PrOH) (1) was synthesized with a dinucleating ligand, 2,6-bis[(2-hydroxyethyl)methylaminomethyl]-4-methyl-phenol [H(sym-hmp)]. The complex 1 (C90H118.50B2N7.50Ni2O10) crystallized in the triclinic space group with dimensions a = 14.7446(4) Å, b = 15.4244(4) Å, c = 18.7385(6) Å, α = 86.9495(9)°, β = 76.7263(10)°, γ = 86.5370(8)°, and V = 4136.8(2) Å3 and with Z = 2; this is isomorphous to a previous cobalt(II) complex [Co2(sym-hmp)2](BPh4)2. Single-crystal X-ray analysis revealed a bis(μ-phenoxo)dinickel(II) core structure containing two distorted octahedral nickel(II) ions of C2 symmetry. The order of the coordination bond lengths is Ni-O(phenoxo) < Ni-O(hydroxy) < Ni-N. The electronic spectrum of 1 was typical for the octahedral nickel(II) complexes, but the axial elongation and the C2-twist of the equatorial plane were found after a detailed analysis. The bond angles obtained by the electronic spectrum agreed with the crystallographically obtained bond angles within 2.3°. The order of the AOM parameters was eσ,O(phenoxo) > eσ,O(hydroxy) > eσ,N, which was consistent with the order of the coordination bond lengths. Magnetic susceptibility data for 1 were fitted well with the parameters 2J = −69.7 cm−1, D = 0.00 cm−1, g = 2.17, and TIP = 265 × 10−6 cm3 mol−1. The result indicates significant antiferromagnetic exchange interaction and negligible zero-field splitting, while the isostructural cobalt(II) complex showed an anisotropic behavior. 相似文献

Dinuclear nickel(II) complexes [Ni2(bomp)(MeCO2)2]BPh4 (1) and [Ni2(bomp)(PhCO2)2]BPh4 (2) were synthesized with the dinucleating ligand 2,6-bis[bis(2-methoxyethyl)aminomethyl]-4-methylphenol [H(bomp)]. X-Ray analysis revealed that the complex 1 · 0.5CHCl3 contains two nickel(II) ions bridged by phenolic oxygen and two acetate groups, forming a μ-phenoxo-bis(μ-acetato)dinickel(II) core. Electronic spectra were investigated for 1 and 2 in the range of 400-1800 nm, and the data were typical for the octahedral high-spin nickel(II) complexes. Obtained spectral components were well simulated based on the angular overlap model assuming the trigonally distorted octahedral geometry. Magnetic susceptibility was measured for 1 and 2 over a temperature range of 4.5-300 K. The optimized magnetic data were J = 1.75 cm−1, zJ′ = −0.234 cm−1, g = 2.21, D = 15.1 cm−1, and TIP = 370 × 10−6 cm−1 for complex 1 and J = 3.55 cm−1, zJ′ = −0.238 cm−1, g = 2.23, D = 21.8 cm−1, and TIP = 470 × 10−6 cm−1 for complex 2. The data revealed ferromagnetic interactions between the two nickel(II) ions. 相似文献

Two copper(II) complexes, [Cu(qsal)Cl](DMF) (1) and [Cu2(qsalBr)2Cl2](DMF) (2), with tridentate Schiff base ligands, 8-(salicylideneamino)quinoline (Hqsal) and 8-(5-bromo-salicylideneamino)quinoline (HqsalBr), respectively, were synthesised and structurally characterized. Each copper(II) ion in the two complexes is in a distorted square pyramidal N2OCl2 environment. Complex 1 exists as a polymeric species via equatorial-apical chloride bridges, whereas 2 is a di-chlorido-bridged dinuclear complex, where each bridging chloride simultaneously occupies an in-plane coordination site on one copper(II) ion and an apical site on the other copper(II) ion. Variable-temperature magnetical susceptibility measurements on the two complexes in the temperature range 2-300 K indicate the occurrence of intrachain ferromagnetic (J = +6.58 cm−1) and intramolecular antiferromagnetical (J = −6.91 cm−1) interactions. 相似文献

The complexes [Cu2(ox)(phen)2(H2O)2](NO3)2 (1), [Cu2(sq)(pmdien)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (2) and {[Cu3(pdc)3(4,4′-bipy)1.5(H2O)2.25] · 2.5(H2O)}n (3) [phen = 1,10-phenanthroline; pmdien = N,N,N′,N′,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine; 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine; ox = oxalate dianion; sq = squarate dianion and pdc = pyridine 2,6-dicarboxylate] have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray single crystal structure determination, low temperature magnetic measurement and thermal study. Structure determination reveals that 1 and 2 are dinuclear copper(II) complexes bridged by oxalate and squarate dianions, respectively, while 3 is a hexanuclear species formed by three Cu(pdc)(H2O)-(4,4′-bipy)-Cu(pdc)(H2O) fragments, connected through long Cu-O(pdc) bonds in a centrosymmetric arrangement. In complex 1 H-bonds occurring between the coordinated water molecules and lattice nitrate anions result in eight-membered ring clusters with the concomitant formation of 1D supramolecular chain. The adjacent chains undergo π-π stacking forming a 2D architecture. In the crystal of 3 an extensive H-bonding scheme gives rise to a 3D supramolecular network. Low temperature magnetic study shows a strong antiferromagnetic coupling in 1 (J = −288 ± 2 cm−1, g = 2.21 ± 0.01, R = 1.2 × 10−6); and a very weak interaction in 2 and 3, the best-fit parameters being: J = −0.21 cm−1, g = 2.12 ± 0.01, R = 1.1 × 10−6 (2) and J = −1.34 cm−1 ± 0.1, g = 2.14 ± 0.01, R = 1.2 × 10−6 (3) (R defines as . 相似文献

The preparation and variable temperature-magnetic investigation of three squarate-containing complexes of formula [Fe2(OH)2(C4O4)2(H2O)4]·2H2O (1) [Cr2(OH)2(C4O4)2(H2O)4]·2H2O (2) and [Co(C4O4)(H2O)4]n (3) [H2C4O4 = 3.4-dihydroxycyclobutene-1,2-dione (squaric acid)] together with the crystal structures of 1 and 3 are reported. Complex 1 contains discrete centrosymmetric [Fe2(OH)2(C4O4)2(H2O)4] diiron(II) units where the iron pairs are joined by a di-μ-hydroxo bridge and two squarate ligands acting as bridging groups through adjacent oxygen atoms. Two coordinated water molecules in cis position complete the octahedral environment at each iron atom in 1. The iron-iron distance with the dinuclear unit is 3.0722(6) Å and the angle at the hydroxo bridge is 99.99(7)°, values which compare well with the corresponding ones in the isostructural compound 2 (2.998 Å and 99.47°) whose structure was reported previously. The crystal structure of 3 contains neutral chains of squarato-O1,O3-bridged cobalt(II) ions where four coordinated water molecules complete the six-coordination at each cobalt atom. The cobalt-cobalt separation across the squarate bridge is 8.0595(4) Å. A relatively important intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling occurs in 1 whereas it is very weak in 2, the exchange pathway being the same [J = −14.4 (1) and −0.07 cm−1 (2), the spin Hamiltonian being defined as ]. A weak intrachain antiferromagnetic interaction between the high-spin cobalt(II) ions occurs in 3 (J = −0.30 cm−1). The magnitude and nature of these magnetic interactions are discussed in the light of their respective structures and they are compared with those reported for related systems. 相似文献

Pyrazole-3,5-dicarboxylate-bridged dinuclear ruthenium(II) and osmium(II) complexes of 2,2′-bipyridine of composition [(bpy)2Ru(pzdc)Ru(bpy)2](ClO4) · H2O (1) and [(bpy)2Os(pzdc)Os(bpy)2](ClO4) · H2O (2) have been obtained in high yield and have been separated to their homochiral (ΛΛ/ΔΔ) rac (1a, 2a) and heterochiral (ΛΔ/ΔΛ) meso (1b, 2b) diastereoisomers. The distinctive structural features of these diastereoisomers have been characterized by 1-D and 2-D 1H NMR spectroscopy. The X-ray crystal structure of rac-[(bpy)2Os(pzdc)Os(bpy)2](ClO4) · H2O (2a) has been determined. The electrochemical and electronic spectral studies have established that there remain difference in properties and hence difference in intermetallic communication between the diastereoisomeric forms in each case. 相似文献

Two new three-dimensional azido-bridged Co(II) compounds with formula [Co(N3)2(2,5-Me2pyz)]n (1) and [Co(N3)2(2-ampym)]n (2) have been structurally and magnetically characterized. 2,5-Me2pyz and 2-ampym are 2,5-dimethylpyrazine and 2-aminopyrimidine, respectively. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system with space group P21/c and compound 2 in the orthorhombic system with space group Pnma. In 1 and 2 each cobalt atom is linked to the four nearest-neighbors by end-to-end (EE) azido bridges, forming square layers. These layers are further connected to 3D networks by the N,N′-bridging ligands 2,5-dimethylpyrazine or 2-aminopyrimidine. The magnetic properties of 1 and 2 are reported. The plots of χM or χMT for 1 and 2 show antiferromagnetic coupling. 相似文献

The reaction of Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2 (dppe) with BrCH2C(O)C6H4NO2 (1:1.05 molar ratio) in acetone produces a mixture of the new monophosphonium salt [Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2CH2C(O)C6H4NO2]Br (1) and the diphosphonium salt [NO2C6H4C(O)CH2PPh2CH2CH2PPh2CH2C(O)C6H4NO2]Br2 (2). Compound 2 was insoluble in acetone and thus easily separated from the solution of 1. Further, by reacting both the mono- and diphosphonium salts with the appropriate bases the bidentate phosphorus ylides, [Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2CHC(O)C6H4NO2] (3) and [NO2C6H4C(O)CHPPh2CH2CH2PPh2CHC(O)C6H4NO2] (4) were obtained. The reaction of ligand 3 with mercury(II) halides in dry methanol leads to the formation of the P,P-coordinated monomeric complexes {HgX2(Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2CHC(O)C6H4NO2)2} [X = Cl (5), Br (6), I (7)]. The structure of complex 7 being unequivocally determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. Characterization of these species was also performed by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and 1H, 31P, and 13C NMR techniques. These analyses being consistent with a 2:1 stoichiometry ylide/Hg(II) for compounds 5 through 7. Results obtained from theoretical studies are also consistent with a product in which two ylides are coordinated to the Hg(II) center through their phosphine groups, being this product the most stable among all the possible products. 相似文献

A novel dinuclear [(MeOH)(L) Ni (di-μ-CCl3CO2) Ni (L)(CCl3CO2)] 1 [where L={(O−)(C6H4CH=NCH2CH2NMe3)}] complex has been synthesized and characterized. Characterization based on elemental analyses, infrared and electronic spectra, thermal studies, variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurement and crystal structure analysis. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n with a=16.818(11), b=20.386(11), c=20.589(13), β=90.94(5) and Z=8. The complex shows di-μ-trichloroacetate bridging with concatenated methanol molecule hydrogen bonded with another trichloroacetate. Magnetic susceptibility measurements of complex 1 reveal an antiferromagnetic intra-dimer interaction with the J value deduced from the spin Hamiltonian H=−JS1S2. 相似文献

One new binuclear Co(II) complex of N,N,N',N'-tetrakis(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)-2-hydroxyl-1,3-diaminopropane (HL), [Co(2)L(mu(2)-Cl)](ClO(4))(2) x 3CH(3)CN x C(2)H(5)OC(2)H(5) (1), has been synthesized and its crystal structure and magnetic properties are shown. In 1, each Co(II) atom has a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry with a N(3)OCl donor set. The central two Co(II) atoms are bridged by one alkoxo-O atom and one Cl atom with the Co1-Co2 separation of 3.239 A. Susceptibility data of 1 indicate strong intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling of the high-spin Co(II) atoms. In this paper, the interaction with calf thymus DNA was investigated by UV absorption and fluorescent spectroscopy. Results show the complex binds to ct-DNA with a intercalative mode. The interaction between complex 1 and pBR322 DNA has also been investigated by submarine gel electrophoresis, noticeably, the complex exhibits effective DNA cleavage activity in the absence of any external agents. 相似文献

The dinuclear complexes [Pd2(L)2(bipy)2] (1), [Pd2(L)2(phen)2] (2), [Pt2(L)2(bipy)2] (3) and [Pt2(L)2(phen)2] (4), where bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and L = 2,2′-azanediyldibenzoic dianion) dibridged by H2L ligands have been synthesized and characterized. The binding of the complexes with fish sperm DNA (FS-DNA) were investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy. The results indicate that the four complexes bound to DNA with different binding affinity, in the order complex 4 > complex 3 > complex 2 > complex 1, and the complex 3 binds to DNA in both coordination and intercalative mode. Gel electrophoresis assay demonstrates the ability of the complexes to cleave the pBR 322 plasmid DNA. The cytotoxic activity of the complexes was tested against four different cancer cell lines. The four complexes exhibited cytotoxic specificity and significant cancer cell inhibitory rate. 相似文献

Synthesis of the novel ligand ferrocenyliminophosphine [(η5-C5H5)Fe{(η5-C5H4)CHN(C6H4-2-PPh2)}] (1, L) and studies on its complexation properties with mercury (II) are reported. Halogen-bridged binuclear mercury (II) complexes [HgX(μ-X)L]2 (X = Cl (2a), Br (2b)) and a mononuclear mercury (II) complex HgCl2L2 (4a) have been obtained under different reaction conditions. In both cases, the ferrocenyliminophosphine acts as a P-monodentate ligand and the imino nitrogen does not participate in coordination to mercury (II). All the new compounds 1, 2a, 2b and 4a were characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, 31P NMR and IR spectra. In addition, structures of 2a and 4a have been determined by X-ray single-crystal analysis. 相似文献

Herein, we report the synthesis and characterization of two new dinuclear bridged azido and bridged thiocyanato complexes: [Cu2(Et2dien)2(μ1,3-N3)2](ClO4)2 (1) and [Cu2(Et2dien)2(μN,S-NCS)2]-(ClO4)2 (2) where Et2dien = N,N-diethyldiethylenetriamine. In both complexes, the two copper centers are linked by two azide or two thiocyanate groups in end-to-end bonding fashion. The copper ions are penta-coordinated by three N-atoms of the Et2dien ligand, one N atom from the bridging azido in 1 or from the thiocyanato group in 2. The fifth coordination site is occupied by N or S atom from the second bridging azide or thiocyanate ligand, respectively. The coordination geometry around the Cu(II) ions in the two complexes may be described as close to square pyramidal (SP) stereochemistry with severe distortion to trigonal bipyramidal (TBP) stereochemistry. The intradimer Cu?Cu distances are 5.264(1) and 5.571(1) Å for the azido and thiocyanato complex, respectively. The IR stretching frequencies of the azido, and the thiocyanato, ν(NCS−) groups in the 2030-2120 cm−1 region are discussed in relation to other related species. The visible spectra of the complexes studied in different solvents reveal the assigned predominant SP stereochemistry in solution with the presence of a pronounced amount of TBP geometry in the thiocyanato complex. Moreover, the complexes undergo solvolysis through bond rupture and displacement of one of the bridged azido or thiocyanato ligands. 相似文献

The first structurally characterised oxomolybdenum(V) complexes with thienyl carboxylate ligands were prepared by the reaction of [Mo2O3(C5H7O2)4] or (NH4)2[MoOCl5] with the corresponding acid (2-thiophenecarboxylic, 5-methyl-2-thiophenecarboxylic or 3-(3-thienyl)acrylic acid). Complexes [Mo2O3(μ-OC2H5)(μ-O2CR)(C5H7O2)2](R = -C4H3S (1), -C4H2S(CH3) (2) or -CHCHC4H3S (3)) were obtained upon substitution of two acetylacetonate ligands from [Mo2O3(C5H7O2)4] with RCOO− in dry ethanol. Reactions of (NH4)2[MoOCl5] with the corresponding thienyl carboxylic acid in the presence of γ-picoline (C6H7N) yielded complexes (C6H7NH)[Mo2O4(μ-O2CR)Cl2(C6H7N)2] (R = -C4H3S (4), -C4H2S(CH3) (5) or -CHCHC4H3S (6)). All of the six new complexes were characterised as dinuclear. The molecular structures of 1, 3, 4·0.5CH3CN and 5 were determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction method. In the complexes the two molybdenum atoms are doubly bridged either by one oxygen and one ethoxy-oxygen, or alternatively by two oxo-oxygens, and are additionally bridged by the thienyl carboxylate ion in a didentate bridging manner. All complexes were further characterised by means of chemical analysis, IR spectroscopy, TG and in some cases by the one and two-dimensional NMR method. 相似文献

The phenol-based compartmental ligand Hpy2ald contains a tridentate amino arm and a weak donor aldehyde group at the 2′ and at the 6′ positions of the phenol ring, respectively. This ligand reacts with cobalt(II) perchlorate, cobalt(II) tetrafluoroborate and manganese(II) perchlorate, yielding dinuclear complexes, where two metal ions are doubly bridged by two deprotonated cresolate moieties. The coordination environment around the metal ions is then completed to a very distorted octahedron by three nitrogen donor atoms from the pendant amino arm and the oxygen atom of the aldehyde group. The crystal structures of the complexes, their spectroscopic and magnetic properties are reported. 相似文献
