A new hybrid,Lomariopsis ×farrarii, is illustrated and described from the La Selva Biological Station, Costa Rica. The objective of the studies was to analyse the process of oogenesis in vimba from a non-migratory population living in the waters of Drawieński National Park in north-west Poland. The character of spawning of this species is an obstacle in determining the right moment to catch spawners or developing artificial spawning biotechniques. Previtellogenesis of vimba begins about six months after hatching and lasts three years. The trophoplasmatic growth of oocytes (October-March/April) begins when carbohydrate vesicles appear near the nuclei oocytes of sexually mature females (aged 4+). Just before spawning, granulated, lipoprotein-like substances are cumulated. The resorption of pre-ovulation corpora lutea (non-ejected oocytes) and post-ovulation corpora lutea (ruptured theca folds and follicles) begins in the ovary of vimba in the middle of June. These were observed in histological cross sections for about two to three months. Describing the process of oogenesis can provide a foundation for developing practical applications in aquaculture aimed at preserving the biodiversity of the park's waters and this critically endangered species of the Polish ichthyofauna. 相似文献

Chabaudacuaria n. g. is erected, as monotypic, for C. multispinosa (Pérez Vigueras, 1938) n. comb. (Spirurida: Acuariidae) [syns Cheilospirura multispinosa Pérez Vigueras, 1938; Acuaria multispinosa (Pérez Vigueras, 1938) Yamaguti, 1961]. This species, a parasite of various ardeid birds, is redescribed by means of light and scanning electron microscopy based on material from great blue herons Ardea herodias L. and yellow-crowned night herons Nyctanassa violacea (L.) in Florida, USA. Chabaudacuaria n. g. resembles Acuaria Bremser, 1811, Cheilospirura Diesing, 1861, Skrjabinocerca Schikhobalova, 1930 and Xenocordon Mawson, 1982 in its straight cordons which do not anastomose. However, it can be distinguished from them by the didelphic-prodelphic uterus and the absence of caudal alae in the males. In the pattern of its cordons (consisting of a row of plates and a longitudinal ridge) and the absence of an area rugosa, the new genus is similar to Chevreuxia Seurat, 1918, Syncuaria Gil??bert, 1927, Aviculariella Wehr, 1931, Skrjabinocara Kurashvili, 1940, Decorataria Sobolev, 1949 and Desportesius Chabaud & Campana, 1949, which are characterised by anastomosing cordons. The didelphic-prodelphic female reproductive system of Chabaudacuaria is intermediate between the didelphic-amphidelphic uterus of Chevreuxia and the monodelphic-prodelphic uterus of Syncuaria, Aviculariella, Skrjabinocara, Desportesius and Decorataria. Therefore, the straight and non-anastomosing cordons are considered to be autapomorphic for Chabaudacuaria. 相似文献

A new isoflavonoid, 5, 6, 7, 3'-terahydroxy-8, 4', 5'-trimethoxyisoflavone (1), along with 10 known isoflavonoids, namely 5, 6, 7, 4'-tetrahydroxy-8-methoxyisoflavone (2), irilone (3), genistein (4), tectorigenin (5), irigenin (6), irisflorentin (7), dichotomitin (8), dimethyltectorigenin (9), iridin (10), and tectoridin (11), was isolated from the alcohol extract of the rhizomes of Belamcanda chinensis (L.) Callus cultures from cotyledon and hypocotyl explants of a Spanish cultivar of melon (Amarillo Oro) have been tested for their growth and morphogenic capacity on a series of media with different concentrations of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and 6-furfurylaminopurine (kinetin). Melon tissues were able to undergo morphogenesis both via organogenesis and embryogenesis, depending on culture conditions and explant source. Shoot buds were obtained at high rates in cotyledon explants. In response to 1.5 mg/l IAA and 6.0 mg/l kinetin, more than 90% of the calli produced well-developed shoots. Hypocotyls failed to form shoots but formed somatic embryos on auxin containing media while cotyledon explants usually gave abundant shoots but only rarely formed embryos. It was possible to maintain organogenic callus lines for at least 12 months under defined conditions. Plants were recovered from adventitious shoots produced both in cotyledon-derived calli and from organogenic cell lines. 相似文献

Essential oils from Erodium cicutarium were obtained by hydrodistillation (samples consisting of entire plants (ec1), leaves and stems (ec2)) and analyzed by gas
chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS), resulting in a total of 177 components being identified.
The essential oils were of a very similar chemical composition and consisted mainly of aliphatic compounds and their derivatives.
Fatty acids and fatty acid derived compounds were the most common, 51.3% (ec1) and 60.1% (ec2), followed by carotenoid derived
compounds, 12.6% (ec1) and 20.2% (ec2), and then terpenoids, 14.9% (ec1) and 14.2% (ec2). The main constituents in the oils
were hexadecanoic acid, 22.8% (ec2) and 35.9% (ec1) and hexahydrofarnesyl acetone, 10.8% (ec2) and 11.6% (ec1). The results

Le prolongement centriolaire est constitué de triplets classiques et de doublets d'un type particulier que nous avons appelés «doublets A–C».Les auteurs signalent la similitude des spermatozoïdes de cet Elopiforme avec les spermatozoïdes d'Anguilliformes ce qui serait en faveur de la proposition de Greenwood et al. de rassembler ces téléostéens dans le super-ordre des Elopomorphes.

Summary The early spermatid possesses a round nucleus and a diplosome which is close to the cellular membrane and with which paracentriolar formations are associated; a sole mitochondrion is located between the diplosome and the nucleus.During the spermatid evolution, the nucleus is laterally elongated, its main axis being perpendicular to the flagellar axis; the mitochondrion migrates towards the lateral end of the nucleus; the distal centriole is extended along the nucleus, then leaves the cell as a pseudoflagellum. This centriolar extension is made up of regular triplets and of a particular type of doublets that we have called A–C doublets.The authors call attention to the similarity between the spermatozoa of this Elopiforme and the spermatozoa of the Anguilliformes. This observation favours Greenwood et al.'s proposition, to place these teleost into the super-order of Elopomorpha.

A peroxidase (PD-cP; 0.47 mg/100 g leaves) was purified from autumn leaves of Phytolacca dioica L. and characterized. PD-cP was obtained by acid precipitation followed by gel-filtration and cation exchange chromatography. Amino acid composition and N-terminal sequence of PD-cP up to residue 15 were similar to that of Spinacia oleracea (N-terminal pairwise comparison showing four amino acid differences). PD-cP showed a molecular mass of approx. 36 kDa by SDS-PAGE, pH and temperature optima at 3.0 and 50.0°C, respectively and seasonal variation. The Michaelis-Menten constant (K(M)) for H(2)O(2) was 5.27 mM, and the velocity maximum (V(max)) 1.31 nmol min(-1), while the enzyme turnover was 0.148 s(-1). Finally, the presence of Ca(2+) and Mg(2+) enhanced the PD-cP activity, with Mg(2+) 1.4-fold more effective than Ca(2+) 相似文献
