NADPH oxidase, catalysing superoxide radical (O2?) formation, is considered as a main source of reactive oxygen species in kidneys and its increased activity is supposed to be involved in the development of diabetic nephropathy. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of NADPH oxidase inhibitor, apocynin, on renal gluconeogenesis, which is an important source of endogenous glucose under diabetic conditions. The following observations were made during the experiments performed on isolated renal proximal tubules of control and alloxan diabetic rabbits: (1) apocynin (200 μM) inhibited the rate of glucose synthesis by 45–80%, depending on the substrate applied; (2) the rate of glucose production was also significantly diminished in the presence of TEMPOL (5 mM), a superoxide radical scavenger, suggesting that the decrease in O2? formation might be involved in apocynin-evoked gluconeogenesis inhibition; (3) the activities of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK) and/or aldolase were lowered in the presence of either apocynin or TEMPOL, as concluded from the intracellular levels of gluconeogenic intermediates. The data from in vivo experiments indicated that apocynin treatment (2 g/l of drinking water): (1) significantly (by about 30%) attenuated serum glucose concentration in diabetic rabbits and did not affect glycaemia in control animals; (2) normalized diabetes-stimulated rate of glucose synthesis and slightly inhibited gluconeogenesis in control rabbits; (3) normalized diabetes-increased activity of mitochondrial PEPCK and lowered cytosolic PEPCK activity by about 20% below the value for untreated control animals; (4) slightly decreased the activity of mitochondrial PEPCK and did not change the activity of cytosolic one in control rabbits. Thus, it is concluded that: (1) the inhibition of NADPH oxidase might contribute to lowered rate of renal gluconeogenesis, probably due to decreasing PEPCK activity; (2) inhibition of renal gluconeogenesis is involved in apocynin hypoglycaemic action in vivo; (3) apocynin might be beneficial for diabetes treatment.  相似文献

Ochratoxin A, a nephrotoxin produced as a secondary metabolite by A. ochraceus, is a potent inhibitor of renal PEPCK activity, in vivo. When fed orally to rats for 2 days, renal PEPCK activity is reduced 50% by a total dose of 0.3-0.5 mg toxin. Renal gluconeogenic capacity is reduced only after PEPCK activity is inhibited by 50%. Hepatic PEPCK activity is unaffected up to 1.5-2.0 mg ochratoxin A, which were the highest doses tested. Other enzymes located in proximal convoluted tubules, including phosphatedependent glutaminase, γ-glutamyl transpeptidase, pyruvate carboxylase, and Na,K-ATPase, are not affected. Renal protein synthesis from [3H]phenylalanine or [3H]leucine is inhibited 30–40% by ochratoxin A in vivo. By covalently coupling the toxin to albumin with carbodiimide or mixed anhydride, the inhibitory effect on renal PEPCK activity is retained, but protein synthesis is not affected and cytological evidence of nephrotoxicity is lost. Injection of the ochratoxin A-albumin carbodiimide complex results in a decrease of hepatic PEPCK activity as well. Removal of the phenylalanine group from the toxin prevents the in vivo inhibition of PEPCK activity, as well as protein synthesis. We conclude that the decrease in renal PEPCK activity, in vivo, requires the phenylalanine group of ochratoxin A, and occurs by a mechanism independent of the known nephrotoxicity effects.  相似文献

Adiponectin, an abundant adipose tissue-derived protein, exerts protective effect against cardiovascular disease. Adiponectin receptors (AdipoR1 and AdipoR2) mediate the beneficial effects of adiponectin on the cardiovascular system. However, the alteration of AdipoRs in cardiac remodeling is not fully elucidated. Here, we investigated the effect of angiotensin II (AngII) on cardiac AdipoRs expression and explored the possible molecular mechanism. AngII infusion into rats induced cardiac hypertrophy, reduced AdipoR1 but not AdipoR2 expression, and attenuated the phosphorylations of adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase and acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase, and those effects were all reversed by losartan, an AngII type 1 (AT1) receptor blocker. AngII reduced expression of AdipoR1 mRNA and protein in cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes, which was abolished by losartan, but not by PD123319, an AT2 receptor antagonist. The antioxidants including reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenger NAC, NADPH oxidase inhibitor apocynin, Nox2 inhibitor peptide gp91 ds-tat, and mitochondrial electron transport chain complex I inhibitor rotenone attenuated AngII-induced production of ROS and phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) 1/2. AngII-reduced AdipoR1 expression was reversed by pretreatment with NAC, apocynin, gp91 ds-tat, rotenone, and an ERK1/2 inhibitor PD98059. Chromatin immunoprecipitation assay demonstrated that AngII provoked the recruitment of c-Myc onto the promoter region of AdipoR1, which was attenuated by PD98059. Moreover, AngII-induced DNA binding activity of c-Myc was inhibited by losartan, NAC, apocynin, gp91 ds-tat, rotenone, and PD98059. c-Myc small interfering RNA abolished the inhibitory effect of AngII on AdipoR1 expression. Our results suggest that AngII inhibits cardiac AdipoR1 expression in vivo and in vitro and AT1 receptor/ROS/ERK1/2/c-Myc pathway is required for the downregulation of AdipoR1 induced by AngII.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate whether endogenous superoxide anion is involved in the regulation of renal Na(+),K(+)-ATPase and ouabain-sensitive H(+),K(+)-ATPase activities. The study was performed in male Wistar rats. Compounds modulating superoxide anion concentration were infused under general anaesthesia into the abdominal aorta proximally to the renal arteries. The activity of ATPases was assayed in isolated microsomal fraction. We found that infusion of a superoxide anion-generating mixture, xanthine oxidase (1 mU/min per kg) + hypoxanthine (0.2 mumol/min per kg), increased the medullary Na(+),K(+)-ATPase activity by 49.5% but had no effect on cortical Na(+),K(+)-ATPase and either cortical or medullary ouabain-sensitive H(+),K(+)-ATPase. This effect was reproduced by elevating endogenous superoxide anion with a superoxide dismutase inhibitor, diethylthiocarbamate. In contrast, a superoxide dismutase mimetic, TEMPOL, decreased the medullary Na(+),K(+)-ATPase activity. The inhibitory effect of TEMPOL was abolished by inhibitors of nitric oxide synthase (L-NAME), soluble guanylate cyclase (ODQ) and protein kinase G (KT5823). The stimulatory effect of diethylthiocarbamate was not observed in animals pretreated with a synthetic cGMP analogue, 8-bromo-cGMP. An inhibitor of NAD(P)H oxidase, apocynin (1 mumol/min per kg), decreased the Na(+),K(+)-ATPase activity in the renal medulla and its effect was prevented by L-NAME, ODQ or KT5823. In contrast, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, oxypurinol, administered at the same dose was without effect. These data suggest that NAD(P)H oxidase-derived superoxide anion increases Na(+),K(+)-ATPase activity in the renal medulla by reducing the availability of NO. Excessive intrarenal generation of superoxide anion may upregulate medullary Na(+),K(+)-ATPase leading to sodium retention and blood pressure elevation.  相似文献

Abstract

Renal mass reduction, such as unilateral nephrectomy induces a compensatory hypertrophy of remaining renal mass in response to overload induced by reduction of functional renal parenchyma. In our recent study, we observed that the recovery of ischemic injured kidney following transient unilateral renal ischemia took longer time than that following transient bilateral renal ischemia, indicating that non-damaged kidney may affect the damaged kidney and vice versa. Here, we investigated whether transient and partial renal parenchymal injury by transient unilateral renal ischemia (UI) results in the hypertrophy of its contralateral kidney (CLK) and reactive oxygen species is associated with the hypertrophy. Thirty minutes of UI resulted in gradual increase in CLK weight over time. UI increased superoxide formation, but not lipid peroxidation in the CLK. After UI, a significant increase in the number of NADPH oxidase 2 (Nox2)-expressing cells and the level of Nox2 expression in the CLK was observed. In parallel with the increases in Nox2-expressing cells in CLKs, infiltration of bone marrow-derived cells (BMDC) increased in CLK. Treatments with Mn(III) Tetrakis(1-methyl-4-pyridyl) porphyrin (MnTMPyP, a superoxide dismutase (SOD) mimetic) and apocynin (a putative NADPH oxidase inhibitor) inhibited UI-induced hypertrophy of CLK along with reduction in Nox2-positive cell, BMDC, amount of Nox2 expression and superoxide formation. In conclusion, transient and partial renal mass reduction by UI resulted in the hypertrophy of CLK through increased ROS formation by infiltrated cells into the interstitium of CLK.  相似文献

Clinical evidence suggests that statins reduce cancer incidence and mortality. However, there is lack of in vitro data to show the mechanism by which statins can reduce the malignancies of cancer cells. We used a human B lymphoma Daudi cells as a model and found that lovastatin inhibited, whereas exogenous cholesterol (Cho) stimulated, proliferation cell cycle progression in control Daudi cells, but not in the cells when transient receptor potential canonical 6 (TRPC6) channel was knocked down. Lovastatin decreased, whereas Cho increased, the levels of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) respectively by decreasing or increasing the expression of p47-phox and gp91-phox (NOX2). Reducing intracellular ROS with either a mimetic superoxide dismutase (TEMPOL) or an NADPH oxidase inhibitor (apocynin) inhibited cell proliferation, particularly in Cho-treated cells. The effects of TEMPOL or apocynin were mimicked by inhibition of TRPC6 with SKF-96365. Lovastatin decreased TRPC6 expression and activity via a Cho-dependent mechanism, whereas Cho increased TRPC6 expression and activity via an ROS-dependent mechanism. Consistent with the fact that TRPC6 is a Ca2 +-permeable channel, lovastatin decreased, but Cho increased, intracellular Ca2 + also via ROS. These data suggest that lovastatin inhibits malignant B cell proliferation by reducing membrane Cho, intracellular ROS, TRPC6 expression and activity, and intracellular Ca2 +.  相似文献

Nox2 B-loop peptide, Nox2ds, specifically inhibits the NADPH oxidase Nox2   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In recent years, reactive oxygen species (ROS) derived from the vascular isoforms of NADPH oxidase, Nox1, Nox2, and Nox4, have been implicated in many cardiovascular pathologies. As a result, the selective inhibition of these isoforms is an area of intense current investigation. In this study, we postulated that Nox2ds, a peptidic inhibitor that mimics a sequence in the cytosolic B-loop of Nox2, would inhibit ROS production by the Nox2-, but not the Nox1- and Nox4-oxidase systems. To test our hypothesis, the inhibitory activity of Nox2ds was assessed in cell-free assays using reconstituted systems expressing the Nox2-, canonical or hybrid Nox1-, or Nox4-oxidase. Our findings demonstrate that Nox2ds, but not its scrambled control, potently inhibited superoxide (O2•−) production in the Nox2 cell-free system, as assessed by the cytochrome c assay. Electron paramagnetic resonance confirmed that Nox2ds inhibits O2•− production by Nox2 oxidase. In contrast, Nox2ds did not inhibit ROS production by either Nox1- or Nox4-oxidase. These findings demonstrate that Nox2ds is a selective inhibitor of Nox2-oxidase and support its utility to elucidate the role of Nox2 in organ pathophysiology and its potential as a therapeutic agent.  相似文献

In the present study we investigated the interplay between matrix metalloproteinase 3 (MMP3) and NADPH oxidase 1 (Nox1) in the process of dopamine (DA) neuronal death. We found that MMP3 activation causes the induction of Nox1 via mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and subsequently Rac1 activation, eventually leading to Nox1-derived superoxide generation in a rat DA neuronal N27 cells exposed to 6-OHDA. While a MMP3 inhibitor, NNGH, largely attenuated mitochondrial ROS and subsequent Nox1 induction, both apocynin, a putative Nox inhibitor and GKT137831, a Nox1 selective inhibitor failed to reduce 6-OHDA-induced mitochondrial ROS. However, both inhibitors for MMP3 and Nox1 similarly attenuated 6-OHDA-induced N27 cell death. RNAi-mediated selective inhibition of MMP3 or Nox1 showed that knockdown of either MMP3 or Nox1 significantly reduced 6-OHDA-induced ROS generation in N27 cells. While 6-OHDA-induced Nox1 was abolished by MMP3 knockdown, Nox1 knockdown did not alter MMP3 expression. Direct overexpression of autoactivated MMP3 (actMMP3) in N27 cells or in rat substantia nigra (SN) increased expression of Nox1. Selective knockdown of Nox1 in the SN achieved by adeno-associated virus-mediated overexpression of Nox1-specific shRNA largely attenuated the actMMP3-mediated dopaminergic neuronal loss. Furthermore, Nox1 expression was significantly attenuated in Mmp3 null mice treated with N-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP). Together we established novel molecular mechanisms underlying oxidative stress-mediated dopaminergic neuronal death in which MMP3 activation is a key upstream event that leads to mitochondrial ROS, Nox1 induction and eventual dopaminergic neuronal death. Our findings may lead to the development of novel therapeutic approach.  相似文献

Forskolin, a potent activator of adenylyl cyclases, has been implicated in modulating angiogenesis, but the underlying mechanism has not been clearly elucidated. We investigated the signal mechanism by which forskolin regulates angiogenesis. Forskolin stimulated angiogenesis of human endothelial cells and in vivo neovascularization, which was accompanied by phosphorylation of CREB, ERK, Akt, and endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) as well as NO production and VEGF expression. Forskolin-induced CREB phosphorylation, VEGF promoter activity, and VEGF expression were blocked by the PKA inhibitor PKI. Moreover, phosphorylation of ERK by forskolin was inhibited by the MEK inhibitor PD98059, but not PKI. The forskolin-induced Akt/eNOS/NO pathway was completely inhibited by the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) inhibitor LY294002, but not significantly suppressed by PKI. These inhibitors and a NOS inhibitor partially inhibited forskolin-induced angiogenesis. The exchange protein directly activated by cAMP (Epac) activator, 8CPT-2Me-cAMP, promoted the Akt/eNOS/NO pathway and ERK phosphorylation, but did not induce CREB phosphorylation and VEGF expression. The angiogenic effect of the Epac activator was diminished by the inhibition of PI3K and MEK, but not by the PKA inhibitor. Small interfering RNA-mediated knockdown of Epac1 suppressed forskolin-induced angiogenesis and phosphorylation of ERK, Akt, and eNOS, but not CREB phosphorylation and VEGF expression. These results suggest that forskolin stimulates angiogenesis through coordinated cross-talk between two distinct pathways, PKA-dependent VEGF expression and Epac-dependent ERK activation and PI3K/Akt/eNOS/NO signaling.  相似文献

Chronic ethanol consumption is a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. We studied whether NAD(P)H oxidase-derived reactive oxygen species (ROS) play a role in ethanol-induced hypertension, vascular dysfunction, and protein expression in resistance arteries. Male Wistar rats were treated with ethanol (20 %?v/v) for 6 weeks. Ethanol treatment increased blood pressure and decreased acetylcholine-induced relaxation in the rat mesenteric arterial bed (MAB). These responses were attenuated by apocynin (30 mg/kg/day; p.o. gavage). Ethanol consumption increased superoxide anion (O2 ?) generation and decreased nitrate/nitrite (NO x ) concentration in the rat MAB and apocynin prevented these responses. Conversely, ethanol did not affect the concentration of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and reduced glutathione (GSH) or the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) in the rat MAB. Ethanol increased interleukin (IL)-10 levels in the rat MAB but did not affect the levels of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, IL-6, or IL-1β. Ethanol increased the expression of Nox2 and the phosphorylation of SAPK/JNK, but reduced eNOS expression in the rat MAB. Apocynin prevented these responses. However, ethanol treatment did not affect the expression of Nox1, Nox4, p38MAPK, ERK1/2, or SAPK/JNK in the rat MAB. Ethanol increased plasma levels of TBARS, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β, and IL-10, whereas it decreased NO x levels. The major finding of our study is that NAD(P)H oxidase-derived ROS play a role on ethanol-induced hypertension and endothelial dysfunction in resistance arteries. Moreover, ethanol consumption affects the expression and phosphorylation of proteins that regulate vascular function and NAD(P)H oxidase-derived ROS play a role in such responses.  相似文献

Oxidative stress is responsible for a poor prognosis of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) patients. Nox2 has been shown to participate in SAH-induced early brain injury (EBI). Nox4 is another major subtype of Nox family widely expressed in central nervous system (CNS). Here, we investigated the role of Nox4 and whether there was a synergistic effect of Nox2 and Nox4 in SAH-induced EBI. Clinical brain biopsies of four patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and perihematomal brain tissue from six subjects with SAH were examined. Gp91ds-tat (a specific inhibitor of Nox2), GKT137831 (a specific inhibitor of Nox4), and apocynin (a non-specific Nox inhibitor) were used to test the role of Nox2 and Nox4. The protein levels of Nox2 and Nox4 were elevated in rat neurons and astrocytes at 12?h after SAH, and in cultured brain microvascular endothelial cells at 24?h after exposure to OxyHb. Similarly, there were higher Nox2 and Nox4 protein levels in perihematomal neurons and astrocytes in SAH patients than that in brain tissue from subjects with TBI. In SAH rat model, gp91ds-tat and GKT137831 could reduce SAH-induced neuronal death and degeneration, whereas apocynin did not induce a more intense neuroprotection. Consistently, in in vitro SAH model, siRNA-mediated silencing of Nox2 and Nox4 suppressed the OxyHb-induced neuronal apoptosis, whereas Nox2 and Nox4 co-knockdown also did not show a remarkable overlay effect. In conclusion, Nox4 should contribute to the pathological processes in SAH-induced EBI, and there was not an overlay effect of Nox2 inhibition and Nox4 inhibition on preventing SAH-induced EBI.  相似文献

Influenza A virus pandemics and emerging anti-viral resistance highlight the urgent need for novel generic pharmacological strategies that reduce both viral replication and lung inflammation. We investigated whether the primary enzymatic source of inflammatory cell ROS (reactive oxygen species), Nox2-containing NADPH oxidase, is a novel pharmacological target against the lung inflammation caused by influenza A viruses. Male WT (C57BL/6) and Nox2(-/y) mice were infected intranasally with low pathogenicity (X-31, H3N2) or higher pathogenicity (PR8, H1N1) influenza A virus. Viral titer, airways inflammation, superoxide and peroxynitrite production, lung histopathology, pro-inflammatory (MCP-1) and antiviral (IL-1β) cytokines/chemokines, CD8(+) T cell effector function and alveolar epithelial cell apoptosis were assessed. Infection of Nox2(-/y) mice with X-31 virus resulted in a significant reduction in viral titers, BALF macrophages, peri-bronchial inflammation, BALF inflammatory cell superoxide and lung tissue peroxynitrite production, MCP-1 levels and alveolar epithelial cell apoptosis when compared to WT control mice. Lung levels of IL-1β were ~3-fold higher in Nox2(-/y) mice. The numbers of influenza-specific CD8+D(b)NP(366)+ and D(b)PA(224)+ T cells in the BALF and spleen were comparable in WT and Nox2(-/y) mice. In vivo administration of the Nox2 inhibitor apocynin significantly suppressed viral titer, airways inflammation and inflammatory cell superoxide production following infection with X-31 or PR8. In conclusion, these findings indicate that Nox2 inhibitors have therapeutic potential for control of lung inflammation and damage in an influenza strain-independent manner.  相似文献

NADPH oxidase is a major source of superoxide anions in the pulmonary arteries (PA). We previously reported that intratracheal SOD improves oxygenation and restores endothelial nitric oxide (NO) synthase (eNOS) function in lambs with persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN). In this study, we determined the effects of the NADPH oxidase inhibitor apocynin on oxygenation, reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, and NO signaling in PPHN lambs. PPHN was induced in lambs by antenatal ligation of the ductus arteriosus 9 days prior to delivery. Lambs were treated with vehicle or apocynin (3 mg/kg intratracheally) at birth and then ventilated with 100% O(2) for 24 h. A significant improvement in oxygenation was observed in apocynin-treated lambs after 24 h of ventilation. Contractility of isolated fifth-generation PA to norepinephrine was attenuated in apocynin-treated lambs. PA constrictions to NO synthase (NOS) inhibition with N-nitro-l-arginine were blunted in PPHN lambs; apocynin restored contractility to N-nitro-l-arginine, suggesting increased NOS activity. Intratracheal apocynin also enhanced PA relaxations to the eNOS activator A-23187 and to the NO donor S-nitrosyl-N-acetyl-penicillamine. Apocynin decreased the interaction between NADPH oxidase subunits p22(phox) and p47(phox) and decreased the expression of Nox2 and p22(phox) in ventilated PPHN lungs. These findings were associated with decreased superoxide and 3-nitrotyrosine levels in the PA of apocynin-treated PPHN lambs. eNOS protein expression, endothelial NO levels, and tetrahydrobiopterin-to-dihydrobiopterin ratios were significantly increased in PA from apocynin-treated lambs, although cGMP levels did not significantly increase and phosphodiesterase-5 activity did not significantly decrease. NADPH oxidase inhibition with apocynin may improve oxygenation, in part, by attenuating ROS-mediated vasoconstriction and by increasing NOS activity.  相似文献

NADPH oxidase Nox2 is involved in the production of superoxide by rheumatoid synovial cells, constitutively and after pro-inflammatory cytokine treatment. The aims of the study were to evaluate the capacity of these cells to produce the superoxide anion in response to arachidonic acid (AA), and to study the involvement of cytosolic phospholipase A(2) (cPLA(2)) in the cytokine regulation of Nox2. Superoxide production was quantified in synovial cells obtained from six patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and six with osteoarthritis (OA), stimulated with (i) AA, and (ii) PLA(2) inhibitors prior to IL-1beta or TNF-alpha treatment. Total cellular AA concentrations and PLA(2) activity were measured; effects of cytokines and NADPH oxidase inhibitors on the AA-activatable proton channel opening were also studied. Our results demonstrated that AA enhanced superoxide production in RA and OA cells; this production was significantly inhibited by iodonium diphenyl and apocynin. cPLA(2) inhibitors inhibited both IL-1beta and TNF-alpha-induced superoxide production in RA and OA cells. Basal PLA(2) activity was significantly more important in RA cells than in OA cells; PLA(2) activity was increased in IL-1beta and TNF-alpha pre-treated RA cells, and cPLA(2) inhibitors inhibited this activity. Opening of the AA-activatable proton channel was amplified when RA cells were pre-treated with both IL-1beta and TNF-alpha, and iodonium diphenyl and apocynin inhibited these cytokine effects. We concluded that AA is an important cofactor for synovial NADPH oxidase activity. Despite their direct effects on p47-phox phosphorylation, cytokines can also regulate the Nox2 activity though the AA-activatable associated H(+) channel.  相似文献

Angiotensin II (Ang II)-induced activation of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NAD(P)H) oxidase leads to increased production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), an important intracellular second messenger in renal disease. Recent findings suggest that Ang II induces mitochondrial depolarization and further amplifies mitochondrial generation of ROS. We examined the hypothesis that ROS injury mediated by Ang II-induced mitochondrial Nox4 plays a pivotal role in mitochondrial dysfunction in tubular cells and is related to cell survival. In addition, we assessed whether angiotensin (1-7) peptide (Ang-(1-7)) was able to counteract Ang II-induced ROS-mediated cellular injury. Cultured NRK-52E cells were stimulated with 10(-6) M Ang II for 24 h with or without Ang-(1-7) or apocynin. Ang II simulated mitochondrial Nox4 and resulted in the abrupt production of mitochondrial superoxide (O(2) (-)) and hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)). Ang II also induced depolarization of the mitochondrial membrane potential, and cytosolic secretion of cytochrome C and apoptosis-inducing factor (AIF). Ang-(1-7) attenuated Ang II-induced mitochondrial Nox4 expression and apoptosis, and its effect was comparable to that of the NAD(P)H oxidase inhibitor. These findings suggest that Ang II-induced activation of mitochondrial Nox4 is an important endogenous source of ROS, and is related to cell survival. The ACE2-Ang-(1-7)-Mas receptor axis should be investigated further as a novel target of Ang II-mediated ROS injury.  相似文献
