The present work reports the length–weight relationships (LWR) for four ornamental fish species from the middle Negro River basin, Amazonas, Brazil. The r2 value ranged from 0.810 to 0.941 and values of b varied from 2.346 to 3.442. These results represent the first reference on LWR for all four species, based on FishBase. 相似文献

Length–weight relationships of nine freshwater fish species from the Liujiang River,Guangxi, China 下载免费PDF全文
Studied were the length–weight relationships (LWRs) of 599 fish specimens covering four families, nine genera and nine species (Sinibrama macrops, Acrossocheilus parallens, Microphysogobio fukiensis, Squalidus wolterstorffi, Pseudohemiculter dispar, Tachysurus fulvidraco, Hemibagrus macropterus, Pseudobagrus crassilabris and Siniperca kneri) collected in the Liujiang River, a tributary of the Pearl River, in March 2014, September 2014 and March 2015. The b value varied between 2.385 (P. crassilabris) and 3.178 (P. dispar), with the mean b = 2.85 at P < 0.001 for all nine species. 相似文献

Length–weight relationships of 23 fish species from the Guaratiba mangrove area in southeastern Brazil were estimated. The value of the parameter b ranged from 2.63 to 3.39 (median = 2.97). This study presents the first estimation of LWR for two species (Ctenogobius stomatus and Ctenogobius boleosoma). New maximum length records were obtained for two species (Poecilla vivipara and Ctenogobius stomatus). 相似文献

Length–weight relationships were determined for three freshwater fish species from the northeastern China. Fish specimens were sampled quarterly across the Songhua River and Nen River from October 2016 to September 2017 using multiple gears. Relationships between length and weight were fitted very well for all species (all R2 > .95), with b values ranging from 2.931 for Perccottus glenii to 3.044 for Parabotia mantschurica. The relationships for three species (P. mantschurica, P. glenii and Tachysurus brashnikowi) were new to FishBase database. 相似文献

Length–weight relationships (LWR) were estimated for 17 species and total length at first maturity (L50) for three species of freshwater fishes from the Miranda River, southern Pantanal, Brazil. The b values were compared for some species in the Paraguay River basin with the northern (Cuiabá River) part of the basin; differences in length–weight relationships were significantly different for Pseudoplatystoma corruscans, P. reticulatum (syn. P. fasciatum). First references on L50 and LWR are presented for two and eight fish species, respectively, as well as the new maximum total length for two species. 相似文献

Length–weight relationships were determined for three fish species (Pseudogyrinocheilus prochilus Sauvage & Dabry de Thiersant, 1874; Folifer brevifilis Peters, 1881; and Garra imberba Garman, 1912). Samples were collected from the Wujiang River in China, from May to July in 2009–2011 using gillnets (25 × 12 m, mesh size 0.5 cm) and fish cages (0.5 × 0.5 × 10 m, mesh size 0.5 cm mesh). Length–weight relationships for these three fish species were determined for the first time. 相似文献

Length‐weight relationships were determined for three fish species [Tachysurus argentivittatus (Regan, 1905); Rhodeus spinalis Oshima, 1926; Liniparhomaloptera disparis (Lin, 1934)]. All fish sample were collected using gillnets (15 × 5 m, mesh‐size 5 mm) from Moyangjiang River, China. Samples were collected quarterly from July 2006 to August 2007. The parameter b of length‐weight relationship varied from 2.52 for Rhodeus spinalis to 3.27 forLiniparhomaloptera disparis. 相似文献

Length–weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for four fish species from two drainage areas, those of the Itapemirim and Jucu River, in the state of Espírito Santo, southeastern Brazil. Fishes were collected between May 2015 and November 2016, with gill nets, casting net, dip net, and sieve. Herein are presented LWRs for Astyanax lacustris, Astyanax taeniatus, Hyphessobrycon bifasciatus and Oligosarcus acutirostris. 相似文献

Length–weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for three endemic fish species [Gobiobotia filifer (Garman, 1912), Homatula potanini (Günther, 1896) and Xenophysogobio boulengeri (Tchang, 1929)] from the Yangtze River in China. Samples were obtained between April 2008 and June 2012 using various types of fishing gear and electroshock fishing techniques. For each species, the sample size, length range, weight range, LWR, 95% confidence intervals of a and b, and coefficient of correlation were determined. Prior to this study, the LWRs for two species [Gobiobotia filifer (Garman, 1912) and Homatula potanini (Günther, 1896)] were unknown. 相似文献

Here the length–weight relationships (LWR, hereafter) of Pareiorhina pelicicei, Trichomycterus candidus, T. pirabitira, and T. piratymbara are provided. Samples of each species were collected between April and July 2017 with a hand net (1.5 mm mesh) in three sites from the upper Paraná River basin, Southeastern Brazil. These results increase knowledge about the LWR of Neotropical freshwater fish. 相似文献

Length–weight relationships for 19 headwater fish species from streams in the Sinos River basin, southern Brazil 下载免费PDF全文
This study reports the length–weight relationship estimates (LWRs) for 19 fish species inhabiting low order headwater streams in the Sinos River basin of southern Brazil. Between 2010 and 2014, 19 species at 47 sites were sampled in 10 sub‐basins by electrofishing in winter and summer. For two species, Bryconamericus iheringii and Phalloceros caudimaculatus, the estimates in this study offer new maximum size ranges compared to previous studies. 相似文献

These are the first LWRs records for the five little‐known species. 相似文献
