To investigate the changes of cardiomyocyte inflammation and fibrosis factors in heart of carotid artery balloon injury inflammatory rat model. Using rat carotid artery balloon injury model to detect left ventricular characteristics at 2 h, 2 days and 14 days after surgery using hematoxylin-eosin (H&E) gross stain, Masson's trichome stain and Western blot analysis for inflammatory and fibrosis-induced factors, tumour necrosis factor α (TNFα), JNK1, P38α, connective tissue growth factor (CTGF), SP1 and transforming growth factor β (TGFβ) protein expressions. The rat carotid arteries were injured after 2 h, 2 days and 14 days. Balloon-angioplasty to H&E stain results showed the increasing trend of left ventricular wall at 2 h and 2 days; then, the left ventricular wall became thinner, and the left ventricular chamber became enlarged and dilated after 14 days of carotid artery balloon injury. In addition, the Masson's trichome stain results showed that the left ventricular section has fibrosis-related blue staining (collagen) at 2 and 14 days after rat carotid artery balloon injury, and became even more severe at 14 days. Furthermore, we observed the protein expression level changs, which include TNFα, JNK1, P38α, CTGF, SP1 and TGFβ using Western blotting assay. All proteins were induced at 2 h, 2 days and then reached the maximal level at 14 days. The vessel inflammation was associated with cardiac inflammatory and fibrosis effects during or after carotid artery balloon injury.  相似文献

Connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) is involved in inflammation, pathogenesis and progression of liver fibrosis. Matrix metalloproteinase‐13 (MMP‐13) cleaves CTGF and releases several fragments, which are more potent than the parent molecule to induce fibrosis. The current study was aimed to elucidate the significance of MMP‐13 and CTGF and their downstream effects in liver injury and fibrosis. Hepatic fibrosis was induced using intraperitoneal injections of N‐nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) in doses of 10 μg/g body weight on three consecutive days of each week over a period of 4 weeks in both wild‐type (WT) and MMP‐13 knockout mice. Administration of NDMA resulted in marked elevation of AST, ALT, TGF‐β1 and hyaluronic acid in the serum and activation of stellate cells, massive necrosis, deposition of collagen fibres and increase in total collagen in the liver of WT mice with a significant decrease in MMP‐13 knockout mice. Protein and mRNA levels of CTGF, TGF‐β1, α‐SMA and type I collagen and the levels of MMP‐2, MMP‐9 and cleaved products of CTGF were markedly increased in NDMA‐treated WT mice compared to the MMP‐13 knockout mice. Blocking of MMP‐13 with CL‐82198 in hepatic stellate cell cultures resulted in marked decrease of the staining intensity of CTGF as well as protein levels of full‐length CTGF and its C‐terminal fragments and active TGF‐β1. The data demonstrate that MMP‐13 and CTGF play a crucial role in modulation of fibrogenic mediators and promote hepatic fibrogenesis. Furthermore, the study suggests that blocking of MMP‐13 and CTGF has potential therapeutic implications to arrest liver fibrosis.  相似文献

Obesity is a strong risk factor for the development of cardiovascular diseases and is associated with a marked increase in circulating leptin concentration. Leptin is a peptide hormone mainly produced by adipose tissue and is regulated by energy level, hormones and various inflammatory mediators. Genistein is an isoflavone that exhibits diverse health‐promoting effects. Here, we investigated whether genistein suppressed the atherogenic effect induced by leptin. The A10 cells were treated with leptin and/or genistein, and then the cell proliferation and migration were analysed. The reactive oxygen species (ROS) and proteins levels were also measured, such as p44/42MAPK, cell cycle‐related protein (cyclin D1 and p21) and matrix metalloproteinase‐2 (MMP‐2). Immunohistochemistry and morphometric analysis were used for the neointima formation in a rat carotid artery injury model. Genistein (5 μM) significantly inhibited both the proliferation and migration of leptin (10 ng/ml)‐stimulated A10 cells. In accordance with these finding, genistein decreased the leptin‐stimulated ROS production and phosphorylation of the p44/42MAPK signal transduction pathway. Meanwhile, genistein reversed the leptin‐induced expression of cyclin D1, and cyclin‐dependent kinase inhibitor, p21. Genistein attenuated leptin‐induced A10 cell migration by inhibiting MMP‐2 activity. Furthermore, the leptin (0.25 mg/kg)‐augmented neointima formation in a rat carotid artery injury model was attenuated in the genistein (5 mg/kg body weight)‐treated group when compared with the balloon injury plus leptin group. Genistein was capable of suppressing the atherogenic effects of leptin in vitro and in vivo, and may be a promising candidate drug in the clinical setting.  相似文献

Human NDR1/STK38 belongs to the nuclear‐Dbf2‐related (NDR) family of Ser/Thr kinases. It has been implicated to function in centrosome duplication, control of cell cycle and apoptosis. However, the mechanism of NDR1 signaling pathway remains largely elusive. Here, we report a novel role of NDR1 in NF‐κB activation. By overexpression, NDR1 potentiates NF‐κB activation induced by TNFα, whereas knockdown of NDR1 expression inhibits NF‐κB activation induced by TNFα. Coimmunoprecipitation shows that NDR1 interacts with multiple signal components except p65 in NF‐κB signaling pathway. Furthermore, both phosphorylation and kinase dead mutants of NDR1 lose their synergistic effects on TNFα‐induced NF‐κB activation. siRNA oligo against NDR1 and kinase dead mutant as well mainly block the NF‐κB activation induced by TRAF2 but not RIP1. Furthermore, kinase dead mutant of NDR1 fails to interact with TRAF2. Taken together, our findings suggest an unknown function of NDR1, which may regulate NF‐κB activation by its kinase activity. Chemical investigation of the glandular trichome exudate of Erodium pelargoniflorum (Geraniaceae) led to the isolation of two dodecyl disaccharide derivatives, named pelargoside A1 and pelargoside B1 ( 1 and 2 , resp.). The structures of 1 and 2 were determined as dodecyl 4‐O‐acetyl‐α‐L ‐rhamnopyranosyl‐(1→2)‐4‐O‐acetyl‐β‐D ‐fucopyranoside and dodecyl 3,4‐di‐O‐acetyl‐α‐L ‐rhamnopyranosyl‐(1→2)‐4‐O‐acetyl‐β‐D ‐fucopyranoside, respectively, by spectroscopic studies, including 2D‐NMR, and chemical transformations. In addition, undecyl, tridecyl, and tetradecyl homologs of 1 and 2 , named pelargosides A2–A4 and pelargosides B2–B4, were also characterized as minor constituents of the exudate.  相似文献

Currently, controversial clinical data about the protective effects in the consumption of n‐3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) in ischaemic heart diseases exist. Improved myocardial resistance to ischaemia‐reperfusion (IR) injury results in non‐lethal myocardial infarction, which is a relevant factor in the myocardial function. We hypothesized that chronic supplementation with PUFAs reduced infarct size (IS) and induced an improvement on oxidative stress‐related parameters in IR model. Rats were supplemented with two doses of PUFAs D1 (n = 7) (0.6 g kg?1 d?1) and D2 (n = 7) (1.2 g kg?1 d?1) for 8 weeks. Control group (n = 7) received only standard diet. In ex vivo model, all rat hearts were subjected to 30 min of global ischaemia followed by 120 min of reperfusion. The IS and left ventricular function were assessed. Lipid peroxidation, reduced glutathione (GSH)/oxidized glutathione (GSSG) ratio and antioxidant enzyme activity were measured in the whole heart. The results show a reduction in IS in a dose‐dependent manner with PUFAs D1 (30.6%) and D2 (48.5%) and higher values of left ventricular developed pressure, at the end of the reperfusion, for each dose, respectively (p < 0.05). The two PUFAs groups showed higher values of GSH/GSSG ratio and lipid peroxidation, and higher values of activity of antioxidant enzymes catalase, superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase at basal condition (p < 0.05). At the end of reperfusion, the GSH/GSSG ratio and antioxidants enzyme activity did not show a significant drop in their values (p > 0.05). These findings suggested that the supplementation with PUFAs induces cardioprotection against IR injury, associated with reinforcement of the antioxidant defense system. Clenbuterol, a β2‐adrenergic agonist, increases the hypertrophy of skeletal muscle. Insulin‐like growth factor (IGF) is reported to work as a potent positive regulator in the clenbuterol‐induced hypertrophy of skeletal muscles. However, the precise regulatory mechanism for the hypertrophy of skeletal muscle induced by clenbuterol is unknown. Myostatin, a member of the TGFβ super family, is a negative regulator of muscle growth. The aim of the present study is to elucidate the function of myostatin and IGF in the hypertrophy of rat masseter muscle induced by clenbuterol. To investigate the function of myostatin and IGF in regulatory mechanism for the clenbuterol‐induced hypertrophy of skeletal muscles, we analysed the expression of myostatin and phosphorylation levels of myostatin and IGF signaling components in the masseter muscle of rat to which clenbuterol was orally administered for 21 days. Hypertrophy of the rat masseter muscle was induced between 3 and 14 days of oral administration of clenbuterol and was terminated at 21 days. The expression of myostatin and the phosphorylation of smad2/3 were elevated at 21 days. The phosphorylation of IGF receptor 1 (IGFR1) and akt1 was elevated at 3 and 7 days. These results suggest that myostatin functions as a negative regulator in the later stages in the hypertrophy of rat masseter muscle induced by clenbuterol, whereas IGF works as a positive regulator in the earlier stages. Mechanical ventilation (MV) used in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) can increase lung inflammation and pulmonary fibrogenesis. Src is crucial in mediating the transforming growth factor (TGF)‐β1‐induced epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) during the fibroproliferative phase of ARDS. Nintedanib, a multitargeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor that directly blocks Src, has been approved for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The mechanisms regulating interactions among MV, EMT and Src remain unclear. In this study, we suggested hypothesized that nintedanib can suppress MV‐augmented bleomycin‐induced EMT and pulmonary fibrosis by inhibiting the Src pathway. Five days after administrating bleomycin to mimic acute lung injury (ALI), C57BL/6 mice, either wild‐type or Src‐deficient were exposed to low tidal volume (VT) (6 ml/kg) or high VT (30 ml/kg) MV with room air for 5 hrs. Oral nintedanib was administered once daily in doses of 30, 60 and 100 mg/kg for 5 days before MV. Non‐ventilated mice were used as control groups. Following bleomycin exposure in wild‐type mice, high VT MV induced substantial increases in microvascular permeability, TGF‐β1, malondialdehyde, Masson's trichrome staining, collagen 1a1 gene expression, EMT (identified by colocalization of increased staining of α‐smooth muscle actin and decreased staining of E‐cadherin) and alveolar epithelial apoptosis (< 0.05). Oral nintedanib, which simulated genetic downregulation of Src signalling using Src‐deficient mice, dampened the MV‐augmented profibrotic mediators, EMT profile, epithelial apoptotic cell death and pathologic fibrotic scores (< 0.05). Our data indicate that nintedanib reduces high VT MV‐augmented EMT and pulmonary fibrosis after bleomycin‐induced ALI, partly by inhibiting the Src pathway.  相似文献

Norbormide [5‐(α‐hydroxy‐α‐2‐pyridylbenzyl)‐7‐(α‐2‐pyridylbenzylidene)‐5‐norbornene‐2,3‐dicarboximide] (NRB), an existing but infrequently used rodenticide, is known to be uniquely toxic to rats but relatively harmless to other rodents and mammals. However, as an acute vasoactive, NRB has a rapid onset of action which makes it relatively unpalatable to rats, often leading to sublethal uptake and accompanying bait shyness. A series of NRB‐derived pro‐toxicants ( 3a  –  i , 4a  –  i , and 5a  –  i ) were prepared in an effort to ‘mask’ this acute response and improve both palatability and efficacy. Their synthesis, in vitro biological evaluation (vasocontractile response in rat vasculature, stability in selected rat media) and palatability/efficacy in Sprague–Dawley, wild Norway, and wild ship rats is described. Most notably, pro‐toxicant 3d was revealed to be free of all pre‐cleavage vasoconstrictory activity in rat caudal artery and was subsequently demonstrated to release NRB in the presence of rat blood, liver, and pancreatic enzymes. Moreover, it consistently displayed a high level of acceptance by rats in a two‐choice bait‐palatability and efficacy trial, with accompanying high mortality. On this evidence, fatty acid ester prodrugs would appear to offer a promising platform for the further development of NRB‐derived toxicants with enhanced palatability and efficacy profiles.  相似文献

Cardiac fibrosis is a major cause of heart failure. MicroRNAs (miRs) are important epigenetic regulators of cardiac function and cardiovascular diseases, including cardiac fibrosis. This study aimed to explore the role of miR‐503 and its mechanisms in regulating cardiac fibrosis. miR‐503 was found up‐regulated in the mouse LV tissues subjected to transverse aortic constriction (TAC) and in neonatal cardiac fibroblasts (CFs) cultured with Angiotension II. The role of miR‐503 in regulating CF cell proliferation and/or collagen production in mice neonatal CFs were determined using an MTT assay and RT‐PCR respectively. Forced expression of miR‐503 increased the cellular proliferation and collagen production in mice neonatal CFs. The effects were abrogated by cotransfection with AMO‐503 (a specific inhibitor of miR‐503). Injection of antagomiR‐503 elevated cardiac function and inhibited the expression of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) and transforming growth factor (TGF)‐β in the TAC mice. Additional analysis revealed that Apelin‐13 is a direct target of miR‐503, as the overexpression of miR‐503 decreased the protein and mRNA expression levels of Apelin‐13. In the CFs with pre‐treatment of AngII, we transfected AMO‐503 into the cells treated with siRNA‐APLN. siRNA‐APLN abolished the effects of AMO‐503 on the production of collagen I and III and the expression of TGF‐β and CTGF. Furthermore, pre‐treatment of CFs with Apelin‐13 (1–100 nmol/l) inhibited angiotensin II‐mediated collagen production and activation of CTGF and TGF‐β. So we conclude that miR‐503 promotes cardiac fibrosis via miR‐503‐Apelin‐13‐TGF‐β‐CTGF‐collagen production pathway. Thus, miR‐503 is a promising therapeutic target for reducing cardiac fibrosis.  相似文献

Patients with diabetes have an increased risk of vascular complications. Suv39h1, a histone methyltransferase, plays a protective role against myocardial injury in diabetes. Herein, we intend to explore whether Suv39h1 could affect neointimal formation after vascular injury in diabetic rats and reveal the underlying mechanism. In this study, we generated adenovirus expressing Suv39h1 as well as lentivirus expressing Suv39h1‐targeting shRNA and evaluated the significance of Suv39h1 in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) under diabetic conditions. In vitro, we examined proliferative and migratory behaviours as well as the underlying signalling mechanisms in VSMCs in response to high glucose treatment. In vivo, we induced diabetes in SD rats with streptozocin and established the common carotid artery balloon injury model. Suv39h1 was found to be both necessary and sufficient to promote VSMC proliferation and migration under high glucose conditions. We observed corresponding changes in intracellular signalling molecules including complement C3 and phosphor‐ERK1/2. However, either up‐regulating or down‐regulating Suv39h1, phosphor‐p38 level was not significantly affected. Consistently, Suv39h1 overexpression led to accelerated neointima formation, while knocking down Suv39h1 reduced it following carotid artery injury in diabetic rats. Using microarray analyses, we showed that altering the Suv39h1 level in vivo dramatically altered the expression of myriad genes mediating different biological processes and molecular function. This study reveals the novel role of Suv39h1 in VSMCs of diabetes and suggests its potential role as a therapeutic target in diabetic vascular injury.  相似文献

Phenotypic differentiation of adventitial fibroblasts to myofibroblasts is an essential feature of vascular remodeling. Here, we carried out perivascular gene transfer of dominant-negative N19RhoA to investigate whether antagonism of RhoA signaling attenuates neointimal formation following rat carotid artery balloon injury and alters TGF-β1-Smad2-induced differentiation of adventitial fibroblasts to myofibroblasts. Perivascular delivery of an adenovirus coexpressing dominant-negative N19RhoA and humanized Renilla green fluorescent protein (hrGFP) (Ad-N19RhoA-hrGFP), as demonstrated by hrGFP staining, suppressed neointimal formation at 7 and 14 days post-injury. Ad-N19RhoA-hrGFP administration inhibited neointimal α-smooth muscle-actin and Calponin expression, as markers of myofibroblast differentiation and perivascular collagen deposition, at 14 days after balloon injury. Ad-N19RhoA-hrGFP administration also inhibited adventitial Smad2 phosphorylation, but did not alter local TGF-β1 and total-Smad2 expression after injury. Our results provide evidence that perivascular gene transfer of dominant-negative N19RhoA blocks TGF-β1-Smad2-induced differentiation of adventitial fibroblasts to myofibroblasts, which contributes to intimal hyperplasia after balloon injury.  相似文献

Myocardial hibernation (MH) is a well‐known feature of human ischaemic cardiomyopathy (ICM), whereas its presence in human idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is still controversial. We investigated the histological and molecular features of MH in left ventricle (LV) regions of failing DCM or ICM hearts. We examined failing hearts from DCM (n = 11; 41.9 ± 5.45 years; left ventricle‐ejection fraction (LV‐EF), 18 ± 3.16%) and ICM patients (n = 12; 58.08 ± 1.7 years; LVEF, 21.5 ± 6.08%) undergoing cardiac transplantation, and normal donor hearts (N, n = 8). LV inter‐ventricular septum (IVS) and antero‐lateral free wall (FW) were transmurally (i.e. sub‐epicardial, mesocardial and sub‐endocardial layers) analysed. LV glycogen content was shown to be increased in both DCM and ICM as compared with N hearts (P < 0.001), with a U‐shaped transmural distribution (lower values in mesocardium). Capillary density was homogenously reduced in both DCM and ICM as compared with N (P < 0.05 versus N), with a lower decrease independent of the extent of fibrosis in sub‐endocardial and sub‐epicardial layers of DCM as compared with ICM. HIF1‐α and nestin, recognized ischaemic molecular hallmarks, were similarly expressed in DCM‐LV and ICM‐LV myocardium. The proteomic profile was overlapping by ~50% in DCM and ICM groups. Morphological and molecular features of MH were detected in end‐stage ICM as well as in end‐stage DCM LV, despite epicardial coronary artery patency and lower fibrosis in DCM hearts. Unravelling the presence of MH in the absence of coronary stenosis may be helpful to design a novel approach in the clinical management of DCM.  相似文献

Pasteurella multocida toxin (PMT) persistently activates heterotrimeric G proteins of the Gαq/11, Gα12/13 and Gαi family without interaction with G protein‐coupled receptors (GPCRs). We show that PMT acts on heart tissue in vivo and on cardiomyocytes and cardiac fibroblasts in vitro by deamidation of heterotrimeric G proteins. Increased normalized ventricle weights and fibrosis were detected after intraperitoneal administration of PMT in combination with the GPCR agonist phenylephrine. In neonatal rat cardiomyocytes, PMT stimulated the mitogen‐activated protein kinase pathway, which is crucial for the development of cellular hypertrophy. The toxin induced phosphorylation of the canonical phosphorylation sites of the extracellular‐regulated kinase 1/2 and, additionally, caused phosphorylation of the recently recognized autophosphorylation site, which appears to be important for the development of cellular hypertrophy. Moreover, PMT stimulated the small GTPases Rac1 and RhoA. Both switch proteins are involved in cardiomyocyte hypertrophy. In addition, PMT stimulated RhoA and Rac1 in neonatal rat cardiac fibroblasts. RhoA and Rac1 have been implicated in the regulation of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) secretion and expression. Accordingly, we show that PMT treatment increased secretion and expression of CTGF in cardiac fibroblasts. Altogether, the data indicate that PMT is an inducer of pathological remodelling of cardiac cells and identifies the toxin as a promising tool for studying heterotrimeric G protein‐dependent signalling in cardiac cells.  相似文献

Our aim was to identify biophysical biomarkers of ventricular remodelling in tachycardia‐induced dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). Our study includes healthy controls (N = 7) and DCM pigs (N = 10). Molecular analysis showed global myocardial metabolic abnormalities, some of them related to myocardial hibernation in failing hearts, supporting the translationality of our model to study cardiac remodelling in dilated cardiomyopathy. Histological analysis showed unorganized and agglomerated collagen accumulation in the dilated ventricles and a higher percentage of fibrosis in the right (RV) than in the left (LV) ventricle (= .016). The Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) 1st and 2nd indicators, which are markers of the myofiber/collagen ratio, were reduced in dilated hearts, with the 1st indicator reduced by 45% and 53% in the RV and LV, respectively, and the 2nd indicator reduced by 25% in the RV. The 3rd FTIR indicator, a marker of the carbohydrate/lipid ratio, was up‐regulated in the right and left dilated ventricles but to a greater extent in the RV (2.60‐fold vs 1.61‐fold, = .049). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) showed a depression of the freezable water melting point in DCM ventricles – indicating structural changes in the tissue architecture – and lower protein stability. Our results suggest that the 1st, 2nd and 3rd FTIR indicators are useful markers of cardiac remodelling. Moreover, the 2nd and 3rd FITR indicators, which are altered to a greater extent in the right ventricle, are associated with greater fibrosis.  相似文献

Following an in vitro bioactivity‐guided fractionation procedure, 14 compounds including eight flavonoids and six phenylpropanoids were isolated and identified from the AcOEt fraction of Clinopodium chinense (Benth .) O. Kuntze . All constituents were tested for α‐glucosidase and high glucose‐induced injury in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) inhibitory activities. All constituents exhibited varying degrees α‐glucosidase inhibitory activity and protective activity on HUVECs. Among them, luteolin ( 2 ), eriodictyol ( 5 ), ethyl rosmarinate ( 13 ), and clinopodic acids B ( 14 ) were proved to be potent α‐glucosidase inhibitors with IC50 value ranging from 0.6 to 2.0 μm . Additionally, luteolin ( 2 ), naringenin ( 4 ), eriodictyol ( 5 ), ethyl (2R)‐3‐(3, 4‐dihydroxyphenyl)‐2‐hydroxypropanate ( 9 ), caffeic acid ( 11 ), ethyl rosmarinate ( 13 ), and clinopodic acids B ( 14 ) significantly ameliorate HUVECs injury induced by high glucose with an approximate EC50 value of 3 – 36 μm . These results suggest that the 14 bioactive constituents were responsible for hypoglycemic and protective vascular endothelium effect of C. chinense (Benth .) O. Kuntze and their structure–activity relationship was also analyzed briefly. Eriodictyol, luteolin, ethyl rosmarinate, and clinopodic acids B were the potential lead compounds of antidiabetic drugs.  相似文献

High‐mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) has been reported to attenuate ventricular remodeling, but its mechanism remains mostly unresolved. Transforming growth factor‐beta (TGF‐β) is a crucial mediator in the pathogenesis of post‐infarction remodeling. Our study focused on the effects of HMGB1 on ventricular remodeling, and explored whether or not these effects were depended upon the TGF‐β signaling pathway. Rats underwent coronary artery ligation. An intramyocardium injection of phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with or without HMGB1 was administered 3 weeks after myocardial infarction (MI). At 4 weeks after the treatment, HMGB1 significantly increased the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) (P < 0.05), decreased the left ventricular end diastolic dimension (LVEDD; P < 0.05), left ventricular end systolic dimension (LVESD) (P < 0.05) and the infarct size (P < 0.05) compared with control group. The expressions of collagen I, collagen III, and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 2 (TIMP2) were also decreased, while the matrix metalloproteinases 2 (MMP2) and MMP9 expressions were upregulated by HMGB1 injection (P < 0.05) compared with control group. No effect on TIMP3 was observed. Furthermore, TGF‐β1 and phosphor‐Smad2 (p‐Smad2) were significantly suppressed and Smad7 was increased in HMGB1‐treated group (P < 0.05) compared with control group, no effects on p‐Smad3 and p‐p38 were observed. HMGB1 also upregulated Smad 7 expression and decreased the level of collagen I on cardiac fibroblasts (P < 0.05). Silencing of Smad7 gene by small interfering RNA abolished the fibrogenic effects of HMGB1 on cardiac fibroblasts (P < 0.05). These finding suggested that HMGB1 injection modulated ventricular remodeling may function through the possible inhibition of TGF‐β/Smad signaling pathway. J. Cell.
