The seaweed Ulva lactuca L. was spray cultured by mariculture effluents in a mattress‐like layer, held in air on slanted boards by plastic netting. Air‐agitated seaweed suspension tanks were the reference. Growth rate, yield, and ammonia‐N removal rate were 11.8% · d?1, 171 g fresh weight (fwt) · m?2 · d?1, and 5 g N · m?2 · d?1, respectively, by the spray‐cultured U. lactuca, and 16.9% · d?1, 283 g fwt · m?2 · d?1, and 7 g N · m?2 · d?1, respectively, by the tank U. lactuca. Biomass protein content was similar in both treatments. Dissolved oxygen in the fishpond effluent water was raised by >3 mg · L?1 and pH by up to half a unit, upon passage through both culture systems. The data suggest that spray‐irrigation culture of U. lactuca in this simple green‐mattress‐like system supplies the seaweed all it needs to grow and biofilter at rates close to those in standard air‐agitated tank culture.  相似文献

In this work, the effects of agitation and aeration rates on aqueous two‐phase system (ATPS)‐based extractive fermentation of clavulanic acid (CA) by Streptomyces variabilis DAUFPE 3060 were investigated through a 22 full factorial design, where oxygen transfer rate (OTR) and oxygen uptake rate (OUR) were selected as the responses. Aeration rates significantly influenced cell growth, OUR, and CA yield, while OTR was practically the same in all the runs. Under the intermediate agitation (950 rpm) and aeration conditions (3.5 vvm) of the central point runs, it was achieved OTR of 1.617 ± 0.049 mmol L?1 h?1, OUR of 0.132 ± 0.030 mmol L?1 h?1, maximum CA production of 434 ± 4 mg L?1, oxygen mass transfer coefficient of 33.40 ± 2.01 s?1, partition coefficient of 66.5 ± 1.5, CA yield in the top and bottom phases of 75% ± 2% and 19% ± 1%, respectively, mass balance of 95% ± 4% and purification factor of 3.8 ± 0.1. These results not only confirmed the paramount role of O2 supply, broth composition and operational conditions in CA ATPS‐extractive fermentation, but also demonstrated the possibility of effectively using this technology as a cheap tool to simultaneously produce and recover CA. © 2016 American Institute of Chemical Engineers Biotechnol. The binding of spermine and ifenprodil to the amino terminal regulatory (R) domain of the N‐methyl‐D ‐aspartate receptor was studied using purified regulatory domains of the NR1, NR2A and NR2B subunits, termed NR1‐R, NR2A‐R and NR2B‐R. The R domains were over‐expressed in Escherichia coli and purified to near homogeneity. The Kd values for binding of [14C]spermine to NR1‐R, NR2A‐R and NR2B‐R were 19, 140, and 33 μM, respectively. [3H]Ifenprodil bound to NR1‐R (Kd, 0.18 μM) and NR2B‐R (Kd, 0.21 μM), but not to NR2A‐R at the concentrations tested (0.1–0.8 μM). These Kd values were confirmed by circular dichroism measurements. The Kd values reflected their effective concentrations at intact NR1/NR2A and NR1/NR2B receptors. The results suggest that effects of spermine and ifenprodil on NMDA receptors occur through binding to the regulatory domains of the NR1, NR2A and NR2B subunits. The binding capacity of spermine or ifenprodil to a mixture of NR1‐R and NR2A‐R or NR1‐R and NR2B‐R was additive with that of each individual R domain. Binding of spermine to NR1‐R and NR2B‐R was not inhibited by ifenprodil and vice versa, indicating that the binding sites for spermine and ifenprodil on NR1‐R and NR2B‐R are distinct.  相似文献

Klebsiella pneumoniae HR526, a new isolated 1,3‐propanediol (1,3‐PD) producer, exhibited great productivity. However, the accumulation of lactate in the late‐exponential phase remained an obstacle of 1,3‐PD industrial scale production. Hereby, mutants lacking D ‐lactate pathway were constructed by knocking out the ldhA gene encoding fermentative D ‐lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) of HR526. The mutant K. pneumoniae LDH526 with the lowest LDH activity was studied in aerobic fed‐batch fermentation. In experiments using pure glycerol as feedstock, the 1,3‐PD concentrations, conversion, and productivity increased from 95.39 g L?1, 0.48 and 1.98 g L?1 h?1 to 102. 06 g L?1, 0.52 mol mol?1 and 2.13 g L?1 h?1, respectively. The diol (1,3‐PD and 2,3‐butanediol) conversion increased from 0.55 mol mol?1 to a maximum of 0.65 mol mol?1. Lactate would not accumulate until 1,3‐PD exceeded 84 g L?1, and the final lactate concentration decreased dramatically from more than 40 g L?1 to <3 g L?1. Enzymic measurements showed LDH activity decreased by 89–98% during fed‐batch fermentation, and other related enzyme activities were not affected. NADH/NAD+ enhanced more than 50% in the late‐exponential phase as the D ‐lactate pathway was cut off, which might be the main reason for the change of final metabolites concentrations. The ability to utilize crude glycerol from biodiesel process and great genetic stability demonstrated that K. pnemoniae LDH526 was valuable for 1,3‐PD industrial production. Biotechnol. This study was performed to evaluate the effective concentration of the anaesthetic 2‐phenoxyethanol (2‐PE) on juvenile (1.3 ± 0.03 g) meagre (Argyrosomus regius, Asso, 1801) and establish the LC50 (through a series of exposure concentrations) and LT50 of 2‐PE at 20 ± 0.5°C, salinity 38 g × L?1, pH 8.2–8.4 and dissolved oxygen >7 mg × L?1. The induction time decreased and the recovery time increased with increasing concentrations. Conflicting results were found only in recovery time and there were no significant differences among the recovery times from all concentrations. The most suitable concentration of 2‐PE was 0.3 ml × L?1 for about or over 15 min exposure time. The LC50 and LT50 for the 3–60 min exposure periods were estimated for juvenile meagre. The toxic effect of 2‐PE on survival rates of A. regius juveniles increased depending on the exposure period. In addition, 2‐phenoxyethanol LT50 (median survival time) values, slope function (S) and lower and upper 95% confidence limits were estimated.  相似文献

Co‐cultures for simultaneous production of ethanol and xylitol were studied under different operation bioreactor modes using Candida tropicalis IEC5‐ITV and Saccharomyces cerevisiae ITV01‐RD in a simulated medium of sugarcane bagasse hydrolyzates. Xylitol and ethanol tolerance by S. cerevisiae and C. tropicalis, respectively, was evaluated. The results showed that C. tropicalis was sensitive to ethanol concentrations up to 30 g/L, while xylitol had no effect on S. cerevisiae viability and metabolism. The best condition found for simultaneous culture was S. cerevisiae co‐culture and C. tropicalis sequential cultivation at 24 h. Under these conditions, productivity and yield for ethanol were QEtOH = 0.72 g L?1 h?1 and YEtOH/s = 0.37 g/g, and for xylitol, QXylOH = 0.10 g L?1 h?1 and YXylOH/S = 0.31 g/g, respectively; using fed‐batch culture, the results were QEtOH = 0.87 g L?1 h?1 and YEtOH/s = 0.44 g L?1 h?1, and QEtOH = 0.27 g L?1 h?1 and YEtOH/s = 0.57 g/g, respectively. Maximum volumetric productivity in continuous multistep cultures of ethanol and xylitol was at dilution rates of 0.131 and 0.074 h?1, respectively. Continuous multistep production, QEtOH increased up to 50% more than in fed‐batch culture, even though xylitol yield remained unchanged.  相似文献

Optically pure d ‐lactate production has received much attention for its critical role in high‐performance polylactic acid production. However, the current technology can hardly meet the comprehensive demand of industrialization on final titer, productivity, optical purity, and raw material costs. Here, an efficient d ‐lactate producer strain, Sporolactobacillus terrae (S. terrae) HKM‐1, is isolated for d ‐lactate production. The strain HKM‐1 shows extremely high d ‐lactate fermentative capability by using peanut meal, soybean meal, or corn steep liquor powder as a sole nitrogen source; the final titers (205.7 g L?1, 218.9 g L?1, and 193.9 g L?1, respectively) and productivities (5.56 g L?1 h?1, 5.34 g L?1 h?1, and 3.73 g L?1 h?1, respectively) of d ‐lactate reached the highest level ever reported. A comparative genomic analysis between S. terrae HKM‐1 and previously reported d ‐lactate high‐producing Sporolactobacillus inulinus (S. inulinus) CASD is conducted. The results show that many unrelated genetic features may contribute to the superior performance in d ‐lactate production of S. terrae HKM‐1. This d ‐lactate producer HKM‐1, along with its fermentation process, is promising for sustainable d ‐lactate production by using agro‐industrial wastes.  相似文献

Grey mould, caused by the fungus Botrytis cinerea, is one of the most destructive diseases in greenhouses for which serious fungicide resistance has developed. Between 2003 and 2005, 213 isolates of B. cinerea from two geographical regions were characterised for baseline sensitivity to kresoxim‐methyl. In the absence of salicylhydroxamic acid (SHAM), the mean 50% effective concentration (EC50) values were 6.67 ± 0.61 (mean ± SD) and 0.37 ± 0.10 mg L?1 during growth and germination, respectively. In the presence of 100 mg L?1 SHAM, baseline sensitivities were distributed as unimodal curves with mean EC50 values of 2.38 ± 0.21 and 0.28 ± 0.09 mg L?1 for inhibiting growth and inhibiting germination, respectively. The mixture of kresoxim‐methyl and boscalid showed good control efficacy against strawberry grey mould disease. After the mixture was extensively used on strawberry for 2 years, 50 isolates were collected and determined for their sensitivity to kresoxim‐methyl and boscalid, respectively. The mean EC50 of germination inhibition by boscalid was 0.39 ± 0.08 mg L?1. The mean EC50 of germination inhibition by kresoxim‐methyl was 0.26 ± 0.07 mg L?1 in the presence of 100 mg L?1 SHAM. Sensitivities of B. cinerea to both kresoxim‐methyl and boscalid did not show any significant decrease. These results suggest that their mixture is a satisfactory alternative candidate for management of grey mould disease in greenhouses.  相似文献

Aims: To improve the yield and productivity of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) by Schizochytrium sp. in terms of the analysis of microbial physiology. Methods and Results: A two‐stage oxygen supply control strategy, aimed at achieving high concentration and high productivity of DHA, was proposed. At the first 40 h, KLa was controlled at 150·1 h?1 to obtain high μ for cell growth, subsequently KLa was controlled at 88·5 h?1 to maintain high qp for high DHA accumulation. Finally, the maximum lipid, DHA content and DHA productivity reached 46·6, 17·7 g l?1 and 111 mg l?1 h?1, which were 43·83%, 63·88% and 32·14% over the best results controlled by constant KLa. Conclusions: This paper described a two‐stage oxygen supply control strategy based on the kinetic analysis for efficient DHA fermentation by Schizochytrium sp. Significance and Impact of the study: This study showed the advantage of two‐stage control strategy in terms of microbial physiology. As KLa is a scaling‐up parameter, the idea developed in this paper could be scaled‐up to industrial process and applied to other industrial biotechnological processes to achieve both high product concentration and high productivity.  相似文献

IsCT1‐NH2 is a cationic antimicrobial peptide isolated from the venom of the scorpion Opisthacanthus madagascariensis that has a tendency to form an α‐helical structure and shows potent antimicrobial activity and also inopportunely shows hemolytic effects. In this study, five IsCT1 (ILGKIWEGIKSLF)‐based analogs with amino acid modifications at positions 1, 3, 5, or 8 and one analog with three simultaneous substitutions at the 1, 5, and 8 positions were designed. The net charge of each analog was between +2 and +3. The peptides obtained were characterized by mass spectrometry and analyzed by circular dichroism for their structure in different media. Studies of antimicrobial activity, hemolytic activity, and stability against proteases were also carried out. Peptides with a substitution at position 3 or 5 ([L]3‐IsCT1‐NH2, [K]3‐IsCT1‐NH2, or [F]5‐IsCT1‐NH2) showed no significant change in an activity relative to IsCT1‐NH2. The addition of a proline residue at position 8 ([P]8‐IsCT1‐NH2) reduced the hemolytic activity as well as the antimicrobial activity (MIC ranging 3.13‐50 μmol L?1), and the addition of a tryptophan residue at position 1 ([W]1‐IsCT1‐NH2) increased the hemolytic activity (MHC = 1.56 μmol L?1) without an improvement in antimicrobial activity. The analog [A]1[F]5[K]8‐IsCT1‐NH2, which carries three simultaneous modifications, presented increasing or equivalent values in antimicrobial activity (MIC approximately 0.38 and 12.5 μmol L?1) with a reduction in hemolytic activity. In addition, this analog presented the best resistance against proteases. This kind of strategy can find functional hotspots in peptide molecules in an attempt to generate novel potent peptide antibiotics.  相似文献

To investigate the pharmacological mechanism of the traditional Chinese medicine, Pulsatilla decoction (PD), the levels of nitric oxide (NO), endothelin‐1 (ET‐1), tumor necrosis factor‐α (TNF‐α), and interleukin‐1α (IL‐1α) secreted by cultured rat intestinal microvascular endothelial cells (RIMECs) were determined after treatment with PD and its seven active ingredients, namely anemoside B4, anemonin, berberine, jatrorrhizine, palmatine, aesculin, and esculetin. RIMECs were challenged with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) at 1 µg ml?1 for 3 h and then treated with PD at 1, 5, and 10 mg ml?1 and its seven ingredients at 1, 5, and 10 µg ml?1 for 21 h, respectively. The results revealed that PD, anemonin, berberine, and esculetin inhibited the production of NO; PD, anemonin, and esculetin inhibited the secretion of ET‐1; PD, anemoside B4, berberine, jatrorrhizine, and aesculin downregulated TNF‐α expression; PD, anemoside B4, berberine, and palmatine decreased the content of IL‐1α. It showed that PD and its active ingredients could significantly inhibit the secretion of NO, ET‐1, TNF‐α, and IL‐1α in LPS‐induced RIMECs and suggested they would reduce inflammatory response via these cytokines. The toxigenic diatom Pseudo‐nitzschia cuspidata, isolated from the U.S. Pacific Northwest, was examined in unialgal batch cultures to evaluate domoic acid (DA) toxicity and growth as a function of light, N substrate, and growth phase. Experiments conducted at saturating (120 μmol photons · m?2 · s?1) and subsaturating (40 μmol photons · m?2 · s?1) photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD), demonstrate that P. cuspidata grows significantly faster at the higher PPFD on all three N substrates tested [nitrate (NO3?), ammonium (NH4+), and urea], but neither cellular toxicity nor exponential growth rates were strongly associated with one N source over the other at high PPFD. However, at the lower PPFD, the exponential growth rates were approximately halved, and the cells were significantly more toxic regardless of N substrate. Urea supported significantly faster growth rates, and cellular toxicity varied as a function of N substrate with NO3?‐supported cells being significantly more toxic than both NH4+‐ and urea‐supported cells at the low PPFD. Kinetic uptake parameters were determined for another member of the P. pseudodelicatissima complex, P. fryxelliana. After growth of these cells on NO3? they exhibited maximum specific uptake rates (Vmax) of 22.7, 29.9, 8.98 × 10?3 · h?1, half‐saturation constants (Ks) of 1.34, 2.14, 0.28 μg‐at N · L?1, and affinity values (α) of 17.0, 14.7, 32.5 × 10?3 · h?1/(μg‐at N · L?1) for NO3?, NH4+ and urea, respectively. These labo‐ratory results demonstrate the capability of P. cuspidata to grow and produce DA on both oxidized and reduced N substrates during both exponential and stationary growth phases, and the uptake kinetic results for the pseudo‐cryptic species, P. fryxelliana suggest that reduced N sources from coastal runoff could be important for maintenance of these small pennate diatoms in U.S. west coast blooms, especially during times of low ambient N concentrations.  相似文献

N‐acetylneuraminic acid (NeuAc) is a common sialic acid that has a wide range of applications in nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals. However, low production efficiency and high environmental pollution associated with traditional extraction and chemical synthesis methods constrain the supply of NeuAc. Here, a biological approach is developed for food‐grade NeuAc production via whole‐cell biocatalysis by the generally regarded as safe (GRAS) bacterium Bacillus subtilis (B. subtilis). Promoters for controlling N‐acetylglucosamine 2‐epimerase (AGE) and NeuAc adolase (NanA) are optimized, yielding 32.84 g L?1 NeuAc production with a molar conversion rate of 26.55% from N‐acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc). Next, NeuAc production is further enhanced to 46.04 g L?1, which is 40.2% higher than that of the strain with promoter optimization, by expressing NanA from Staphylococcus hominis instead of NanA from Escherichia coli. To enhance the expression level of ShNanA, the N‐terminal coding sequences of genes with high expression levels are fused to the 5′‐end of the ShNanA gene, resulting in 56.82 g L?1 NeuAc production. Finally, formation of the by‐product acetoin from pyruvate is blocked by deleting the alsS and alsD genes, resulting in 68.75 g L?1 NeuAc production with a molar conversion rate of 55.57% from GlcNAc. Overall, a GRAS B. subtilis strain is demonstrated as a whole‐cell biocatalyst for efficient NeuAc production.  相似文献

Critical (<30 min) and prolonged (>60 min) swimming speeds in laboratory chambers were determined for larvae of six species of Australian freshwater fishes: trout cod Maccullochella macquariensis, Murray cod Maccullochella peelii, golden perch Macquaria ambigua, silver perch Bidyanus bidyanus, carp gudgeon Hypseleotris spp. and Murray River rainbowfish Melanotaenia fluviatilis. Developmental stage (preflexion, flexion, postflexion and metalarva) better explained swimming ability than did length, size or age (days after hatch). Critical speed increased with larval development, and metalarvae were the fastest swimmers for all species. Maccullochella macquariensis larvae had the highest critical [maximum absolute 46·4 cm s?1 and 44·6 relative body lengths (LB) s?1] and prolonged (maximum 15·4 cm s?1, 15·6 LB s?1) swimming speeds and B. bidyanus larvae the lowest critical (minimum 0·1 cm s?1, 0·3 LB s?1) and prolonged swimming speeds (minimum 1·1 cm s?1, 1·0 LB s?1). Prolonged swimming trials determined that the larvae of some species could not swim for 60 min at any speed, whereas the larvae of the best swimming species, M. macquariensis, could swim for 60 min at 44% of the critical speed. The swimming performance of species with precocial life‐history strategies, with well‐developed larvae at hatch, was comparatively better and potentially had greater ability to influence their dispersal by actively swimming than species with altricial life‐history strategies, with poorly developed larvae at hatch.  相似文献

Cleavage of the backbone of poly(cis‐1,4‐isoprene) (IR) in solid rubber material was accomplished by the addition of partially purified latex clearing protein (Lcp1VH2) using a 200‐mL enzyme reactor. Two strategies for the addition of Lcp1VH2 were studied revealing that the daily addition of 50 µg mL?1 of Lcp1VH2 for 5 days was clearly a more efficient regime in comparison to a one‐time addition of 250 µg of Lcp1VH2 at the beginning. Soluble oligo(cis‐1,4‐isoprene) molecules occurred as degradation products and were identified by ESI‐MS and GPC. Oxygenase activity of Lcp1VH2 with solid IR particles as substrate was shown for the first time by measuring the oxygen consumption in the reaction medium. A strong decrease of the dissolved oxygen concentration was detected at the end of the assay, which indicates an increase in the number of cleavage reactions. The oligo(cis‐1,4‐isoprene) molecules comprised 1 to 11 isoprene units and exhibited an average molecular weight (Mn) of 885 g mol?1. Isolation of the oligo(cis‐1,4‐isoprene) molecules was achieved by using silica gel column chromatography. The relative quantification of the isolated products was performed by HPLC‐MS after derivatization with 2,4‐dinitrophenilhydrazyne yielding a concentration of total degradation products of 1.62 g L?1. Analysis of the polymer surface in samples incubated for 3 days with Lcp1VH2 via ATR‐FTIR indicated the presence of carbonyl groups, which occurred upon the cleavage reaction. This study presents a cell‐free bioprocess as an alternative rubber treatment that can be applied for the partial degradation of the polymer. © 2018 American Institute of Chemical Engineers Biotechnol. In this work, the dependency of the volumetric hydrogen production rate of ammonium‐limited Rhodobacter capsulatus chemostat cultures on their imposed biomass concentration and dilution rate was investigated. A deceleration‐stat experiment was performed by lowering the dilution rate from 1.0 d?1 to zero aimed at a constant biomass concentration of 4.0 g L?1 at constant incident light intensity. The results displayed a maximal volumetric hydrogen production rate of 0.6 mmol m?3 s?1, well below model predictions. Possibly the high cell density limited the average light availability, resulting in a sub‐optimal specific hydrogen production rate. To investigate this hypothesis, a gradient‐stat experiment was conducted at constant dilution rate of 0.4 d?1 at constant incident light intensity. The biomass concentration was increased from 0.7 to 4.0 g L?1 by increasing the influent ammonium concentration. Up to a biomass concentration of 1.5 g L?1, the volumetric hydrogen production rate of the system increased according to model predictions, after which it started to decline. The results obtained provide strong evidence that the observed decline in volumetric hydrogen production rate at higher biomass concentrations was at least partly caused by a decrease in light availability. © 2009 American Institute of Chemical Engineers Biotechnol. Unveiling the intrinsic effects of Ruddlesden‐Popper (RP) series An+1BnO3n+1 (A = La, B = Ni, Co, Mn, Cu, n = 1, 2 and 3) catalysts is essential in order to optimize the activity of oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and evolution reaction (OER). Here, it is demonstrated that the oxygen vacancy is not the key point for RP to realize high ORR and OER activity at high temperature. Instead, interstitial O2? with high concentration and fast migration, and lattice oxygen with high activity are favorable for the high‐temperature catalytic activity. Aliovalent cation doping is an effective strategy to modify the catalytic activity. For the RP catalysts, low‐valence ion doping does not introduce oxygen vacancies, which suppresses the activity of lattice oxygen and decreases the interstitial O2? concentration; whereas high‐valence ion doping enhances the interstitial O2– concentration and the lattice oxygen activity. The evaluations of six RP series (La2NiO4, La2CoO4, La3Co2O7, La4Ni3O10, La2MnO4, and La2CuO4 based) and twenty samples as oxygen electrodes for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) and solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs) demonstrate that this finding is applicable to all the selected RP series.  相似文献

The antioxidant behavior of a series of new synthesized substituted thiazolyl‐thiazolidine‐2,4‐dione compounds (TZDs) was examined using chemiluminescence and electron paramagnetic resonance spin trapping techniques. 5,5‐Dimethyl‐1‐pyrroline‐N‐oxide (DMPO) was used as the spin trap. The reactivity of TZDs with superoxide anion radical (O) and hydroxyl radical (HO?) was evaluated using potassium superoxide/18‐crown‐6 ether dissolved in dimethylsulfoxide, and the Fenton‐like reaction (Fe2+ + H2O2), respectively. The results showed that TZDs efficiently inhibited light emission from the O generating system at a concentration of 0.05–1 mmol L?1 (5–94% reductions were found at 1 mmol L?1 concentration). The TZD compounds showed inhibition of HO?‐dependent DMPO–OH spin adduct formation from DMPO (the amplitude decrease ranged from 8 to 82% at 1 mmol L?1 concentration). The findings showed that examined TZDs had effective activities as radical scavengers. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Light effect on cultures of microalgae has been studied mainly on single species cultures. Cyanobacteria have photosynthetic pigments that can capture photons of wavelengths not available to chlorophylls. A native Louisiana microalgae (Chlorella vulgaris ) and cyanobacteria (Leptolyngbya sp.) co‐culture was used to study the effects of light quality (blue–467 nm, green–522 nm, red–640 nm and white–narrow peak at 450 nm and a broad range with a peak at 550 nm) at two irradiance levels (80 and 400 μmol m?2 s?1) on the growth, species composition, biomass productivity, lipid content and chlorophyll‐a production. The co‐culture shifted from a microalgae dominant culture to a cyanobacteria culture at 80 μmol m?2 s?1. The highest growth for the cyanobacteria was observed at 80 μmol μmol m?2 s?1 and for the microalgae at 400 μmol m?2 s?1. Red light at 400 μmol m?2 s?1 had the highest growth rate (0.41 d?1), biomass (913 mg L?1) and biomass productivity (95 mg L?1 d?1). Lipid content was similar between all light colors. Green light had the highest chlorophyll‐a content (1649 μg/L). These results can be used to control the species composition of mixed cultures while maintaining their productivity.  相似文献

Herein, this study successfully fabricates porous g‐C3N4‐based nanocomposites by decorating sheet‐like nanostructured MnOx and subsequently coupling Au‐modified nanocrystalline TiO2. It is clearly demonstrated that the as‐prepared amount‐optimized nanocomposite exhibits exceptional visible‐light photocatalytic activities for CO2 conversion to CH4 and for H2 evolution, respectively by ≈28‐time (140 µmol g?1 h?1) and ≈31‐time (313 µmol g?1 h?1) enhancement compared to the widely accepted outstanding g‐C3N4 prepared with urea as the raw material, along with the calculated quantum efficiencies of ≈4.92% and 2.78% at 420 nm wavelength. It is confirmed mainly based on the steady‐state surface photovoltage spectra, transient‐state surface photovoltage responses, fluorescence spectra related to the produced ?OH amount, and electrochemical reduction curves that the exceptional photoactivities are comprehensively attributed to the large surface area (85.5 m2 g?1) due to the porous structure, to the greatly enhanced charge separation and to the introduced catalytic functions to the carrier‐related redox reactions by decorating MnOx and coupling Au‐TiO2, respectively, to modulate holes and electrons. Moreover, it is suggested mainly based on the photocatalytic experiments of CO2 reduction with isotope 13CO2 and D2O that the produced ?CO2 and ?H as active radicals would be dominant to initiate the conversion of CO2 to CH4.  相似文献
