1. The composition and activity of phytoplankton, zooplankton and bacterioplankton in the lower River Rhine were measured in 1990 as part of an international biological inventory of the river. A seasonal study was carried out on two stations: one in the river mouth (km 1019) and one at the German/Dutch border (km 863). 2. High densities of phytoplankton (with up to 140 μg chlorophyll a 1-?1) and occasional depletion of dissolved silicate were observed at the upstream station. Phosphate concentrations were also lowered during blooms. 3. Phytoplankton blooms, dominated by a few species of centric diatoms, declined one order of magnitude during downstream transport. During non-bloom conditions (low) algal densities were maintained during transport, or increased slightly, indicating the suitability of the river reach for algal growth. 4. Bacterial cell number and production (measured by the 3H-thymidine method) showed a broad summer maximum with activity peaks (0.5 nK < M thymidine h?1) coincident with declining phytoplankton blooms. Winter values of bacterial production (0.02–0.05 n < Mh?1) were substantial, probably as a result of allochthonous input of organic matter. 5. Rotifers and crustaceans made up the greater part of the zooplankton biovolume, but at the upstream station the contribution of Dreissena larvae and rhizopods was also substantial. High zooplankton biovolumes, of over 500 × 106μm31-?1, were observed only during the phytoplankton spring bloom. 6. Quantitative relationships between the high phytoplankton production (2.1–3.4 gCm?2 day?1), the high bacterial substrate uptake (0.5–1gCm?2 day?1), and grazing were analysed for the growing season 1990. Algal grazing by metazoan herbivores was substantial only during spring, while the role of phagotrophic microplankton and cell lysis were indicated as major factors responsible for the downstream decline of phytoplankton blooms in the lower Rhine.  相似文献

Abstract

The phytoplankton study on the S'Ena Arrubia Lagoon started in 1990, after dystrophic events, leading to high fish mortality and consequently great economic losses. This study presents a general picture of the conditions of the lagoon between 1990 and 1995, and reports on the quali-quantitative changes in the phytoplanktonic populations, as well as the trends of temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, algal nutrients and chlorophyll a. The lagoon was characterized by great changes in salinity between years and within the same year, by high nutrient contents and by a phytoplankton trend characterized by sudden intense blooms mostly due to the Chlorophyceae and the Bacillariophyceae. The number of species found, decreased from 1990 to 1994, followed by a slight increase in 1995. The same trend was also found for total density and chlorophyll a.  相似文献

Phytoplankton species composition, seasonal dynamics and spatial distribution in the shallow Lake Doïrani were studied during the growth season of 1996 along with key physical and chemical variables of the water. Weak thermal stratification developed in the lake during the warm period of 1996. The low N:P ratio suggests that nitrogen was the potential limiting nutrient of phytoplankton in the lake. In the phytoplankton of the lake, Chlorophyceae were the most species-rich group followed by Cyanophyceae. The monthly fluctuations of the total phytoplankton biomass presented high levels of summer algal biomass resembling that of other eutrophic lakes. Dinophyceae was the group most represented in the phytoplankton followed by Cyanophyceae. Diatomophyceae dominated in spring and autumn. Nanoplankton comprised around 90% of the total biomass in early spring and less than 10% in summer. The seasonal dynamics of phytoplankton generally followed the typical pattern outlined for other eutrophic lakes. R-species (small diatoms), dominant in the early phase of succession, were replaced by S-species (Microcystis, Anabaena, Ceratium) in summer. With cooling of the water in September, the biomass of diatoms (R-species) increased. The summer algal maxima consisted of a combination of H and M species associations (sensu Reynolds). Phytoplankton development in 1996 was subject to the combined effect of the thermal regime, the small depth of mixing and the increased sediment-water interactions in the lake, which caused changes in the underwater light conditions and nutrient concentrations.

The phytoplankton community of a eutrophic reservoir   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The dynamics of the phytoplankton community of a eutrophic reservoir are described for a two year period. Fifty-eight species were recorded, 25 of them common. Bacillariophyta dominated during the winter and early spring and Chlorophyta during late spring, to be replaced by a bloom of Cyanophyta. The mean and peak biomass of phytoplankton was 8.6 mg 1–1 and 40.8 mg 1–1 in 1981, and 8.3 mg 1–1 and 37.6 mg 1–1 in 1982. Temperature accounted for 67.3% and pH for 8% of the variation in total phytoplankton biomass over the two year period, using a multiple regression technique. Both horizontal and vertical patchiness, measured as an index of mean crowding, were recorded in the reservoir. Horizontal aggregations were associated with spring blooms of Chlorophyta and summer blooms of Cyanophyta, while vertical aggregations were most marked during the summer bloom of Cyanophyta. Concentrations of phytoplankton were influenced by wind, the prevailing southwesterly wind accumulating algae in the northeasterly arm of the reservoir during much of the year.  相似文献

Iron (Fe) is essential for phytoplankton growth and photosynthesis, and is proposed to be an important factor regulating algal blooms under replete major nutrients in coastal environments. Here, Skeletonema costatum, a typical red-tide diatom species, and Chlorella vulgaris, a widely distributed Chlorella, were chosen to examine carbon fixation and Fe uptake by coastal algae under dark and light conditions with different Fe levels. The cellular carbon fixation and intracellular Fe uptake were measured via 14C and 55Fe tracer assay, respectively. Cell growth, cell size, and chlorophyll-α concentration were measured to investigate the algal physiological variation in different treatments. Our results showed that cellular Fe uptake proceeds under dark and the uptake rates were comparable to or even higher than those in the light for both algal species. Fe requirements per unit carbon fixation were also higher in the dark resulting in higher Fe: C ratios. During the experimental period, high Fe addition significantly enhanced cellular carbon fixation and Fe uptake. Compared to C. vulgaris, S. costatum was the common dominant bloom species because of its lower Fe demand but higher Fe uptake rate. This study provides some of the first measurements of Fe quotas in coastal phytoplankton cells, and implies that light and Fe concentrations may influence the phytoplankton community succession when blooms occur in coastal ecosystems.  相似文献

During the 20th century Lake Ringsjön has developed from a mesotrophic to a eutrophic lake, and the phytoplankton community has changed from a rather diverse community to a monoculture of blue-green algae. The eutrophication process has accelerated during the last decade. The most important external nutrient loading of today comes from agriculture.Although phosphorus has been shown to be the primary nutrient leading to excessive algal growth in fresh water, several biotic factors — such as interactions between nutrients, phytoplankton, zooplankton and planktivorous fish — may play a decisive role in the occurrence and maintenance of large algal blooms. The aim of this investigation was to study the changes in the fish community of Lake Ringsjön, especially the most dominant planktivores, and the state of the zooplankton community during the seventies. The fish fauna is dominated by cyprinids, especially roach, and there are relatively few predatory fish. During the seventies the mean size of roach decreased, and measurements of the zooplankton community indicated that the predation pressure on zooplankton had increased. The mean sizes of cladocerans such as Daphnia and Bosmina, which were selected for by the planktivorous fish, decreased; the size of the calanoid Diaptomus, which was not preyed upon by the dominating fish species, did not change. The growth of zooplankton-feeding stages of several fish species was retarded, which meant that the growth of young perch decreased, while older roach were mainly affected. In the prevailing situation, planktivorous roach can maintain a numerous population of small individuals, whereas the predatory perch is at a disadvantage, and predation on zooplankton is intense.  相似文献

The permanently eutrophic Sundays Estuary experiences recurrent harmful algal blooms (HABs) of Heterosigma akashiwo (Raphidophyceae). This study aimed to identify the environmental variables shaping phytoplankton community composition and succession patterns during a typical spring/summer harmful algal bloom (HAB) period. Monitoring of abiotic and phytoplankton variables was undertaken over the period of a month in 2016. Surface water salinity corresponding to mesohaline conditions (9 to 12) was a prerequisite for site selection. During the study, two HABs (>550 µg Chl a l?1) of H. akashiwo occurred, each lasting for approximately a week in duration. Analyses highlighted nutrient depletion (i.e. nitrate and phosphate concentrations) as the key constraint on bloom duration. When the density of H. akashiwo decreased, the community composition became more diverse with species belonging to Bacillariophyceae and Dinophyceae becoming more abundant; albeit to a lesser degree (<180 µg Chl a l?1). Dissolved oxygen shifted from super-saturated conditions (>14 mg l?1) during peak HAB conditions, to instances of bottom water oxygen depletion (2–4 mg l?1) during the decay phase. These findings highlight the potential severity of transforming a catchment from natural to one that is highly regulated by agricultural practices, while also emphasising the need for management intervention.  相似文献

Phytoplankton species composition and abundance of a shallow hypertrophic fishpond (Mézeshegyi-tó, East Hungary) was studied for the period 1992–1995. The pond showed a pronounced algal periodicity. High-diversity phytoplankton assemblages occurred in spring and autumn. During the winter period, low diversity values were related either to stable community states, when K-strategist species dominated the plankton, or to a large bloom of r-strategist species. In summer, the stable environment led to low-diversity, high-biomass phytoplankton assemblages, dominated by Cylindrospermopsis raciborskii. At this time, the growth conditions for Cylindrospermopsiswere akin to those prevailing in a continuous fermentor. The overwhelming dominance of this species lasted for more than four months, during which time, the phytoplankton resembled that of one in the tropics. In August, 1993, an unsuccessful chemical treatment for reducing the algal bloom succeeded in killing the pond's entire population of fish. The large fish-stock comprised the planktivorous silver carp. Although the summer of 1994 was one of the warmest summers of this century, the expected Cylindrospermopsis bloom failed to develop probably because of a higher grazing pressure by large zooplankton. In spite of the fact that the temporal and spatial pattern of the phytoplankton is influenced principally by bottom-up effects, changes in cascading trophic interactions may also considerably influence the species composition and biomass.  相似文献

Surface seawater was collected in four different seasons in the coastal East China Sea adjacent to the Yangtze River Estuary and phytoplankton community diversity was analysed using rbcL genetic markers. Phytoplankton diversity (Shannon Index) was found to be highest in autumn and lowest in summer, which was mainly controlled by seawater temperature, river runoff, the Taiwan Warm Current and possibly other environmental factors. For taxa characterized by Form IAB rbcL, the abundance of Chlorophyta was much greater than those of Proteobacteria and Cyanobacteria throughout the year with the most dominant taxa being Bathycoccus prasinos (Chlorophyta) in spring and Micromonas sp. (Chlorophyta) in other seasons. For taxa identified by Form ID rbcL, Coscinodiscophyceae (diatoms) constituted the largest group (most clones) in the phylogenetic tree. Dinophysis fortii (a dinoflagellate) was found to be the most abundant species in winter and spring and Skeletonema spp. (a diatom) dominated the phytoplankton community in summer and autumn. The seasonal dominance of Dinophysis fortii agreed well with the recently increasing proportion of dinoflagellates in the phytoplankton community in the coastal East China Sea. The abundance of Dinophysis fortii was negatively correlated with seawater temperature, suggesting that harmful algal blooms caused by this species may primarily occur in spring.  相似文献

Primary productivity, community respiration, chlorophyll a concentration, phytoplankton species composition, and environmental factors were compared in the Yolo Bypass floodplain and adjacent Sacramento River in order to determine if passage of Sacramento River through floodplain habitat enhanced the quantity and quality of phytoplankton carbon available to the aquatic food web and how primary productivity and phytoplankton species composition in these habitats were affected by environmental conditions during the flood season. Greater net primary productivity of Sacramento River water in the floodplain than the main river channel was associated with more frequent autotrophy and a higher P:R ratio, chlorophyll a concentration, and phytoplankton growth efficiency (αB). Total irradiance and water temperature in the euphotic zone were positively correlated with net primary productivity in winter and early spring but negatively correlated with net primary productivity in the late spring and early summer in the floodplain. In contrast, net primary productivity was correlated with chlorophyll a concentration and streamflow in the Sacramento River. The flood pulse cycle was important for floodplain production because it facilitated the accumulation of chlorophyll a and wide diameter diatom and green algal cells during the drain phase. High chlorophyll a concentration and diatom and green algal biomass enabled the floodplain to export 14–37% of the combined floodplain plus river load of total, diatom and green algal biomass and wide diameter cells to the estuary downstream, even though it had only 3% of the river streamflow. The study suggested the quantity and quality of riverine phytoplankton biomass available to the aquatic food web could be enhanced by passing river water through a floodplain during the flood season.  相似文献

Summary An investigation of phytoplankton in Astotin Lake was made between mid-May of 1966 and September of 1967 with particular attention to the ice-free seasons. Astotin Lake is a typical, small eutrophic, kettle lake with shallow, landlocked, hard water in the Canadian prairies. High concentrations of nutrients supported heavy blooms of blue-green algae throughout the summer. The spring communities were dominated by Asterionella formosa in 1966 and by Cyclotella meneghiniana in 1967. Oxygen depletion under ice-cover probably explains the failure of an Asterionella formosa population to appear in 1967. Deficiency of silica and a rise in water temperature apparently caused the decline of the spring pulses of diatoms. Relatively high summer water temperature favoured the blue-green algal blooms and resulted in a high concentration of organic matter. The decomposition of dead Anabaena cells played an important part in the development of subsequent waterblooms, i.e., Microcystis aeruginosa and Aphanizomenon flos-aquae. The sequence of waterblooms of those species was closely related to the change in water temperature. A flos-aquae became incompatible with M. aeruginosa when the temperature fluctuated in a wide range. Most of the non-blue green algae apparently were inhibited by these cyanophyte blooms. Great species diversity appeared intermittently between blooms and a few species of the Scenedesmaceae and the Oocystaceae were relatively compatible to these blooms.Part of a thesis submitted to the Department of Botany, University of Alberta, Edmondton, Alberta, in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the M. Sc. degree.  相似文献

Amoebophrya is a marine parasite recently found to infect and kill bloom-forming dinoflagellates in the California Current System (CCS). However, it is unknown whether parasitism by Amoebophrya can control dinoflagellate blooms in major eastern boundary upwelling systems, such as the CCS. We quantified the abundance of a common bloom-forming species Akashiwo sanguinea and prevalence of its parasite (i.e., % infected cells) in surface water samples collected weekly from August 2005 to December 2008 at the Santa Cruz Wharf (SCW), Monterey Bay, CA. Additionally, we measured physical and chemical properties at the SCW and examined regional patterns of wind forcing and sea surface temperature. Relative abundance of the net phytoplankton species was also analyzed to discern whether or not parasitism influences net phytoplankton community composition. Epidemic infection outbreaks (>20% parasite prevalence in the host species) may have contributed to the end or prevented the occurrence of A. sanguinea blooms, whereas low parasite prevalence was associated with short-term (≤2 weeks) A. sanguinea blooms. The complete absence of parasitism in 2007 was associated with an extreme A. sanguinea bloom. Anomalously strong upwelling conditions were detected in 2007, suggesting that A. sanguinea was able to outgrow Amoebophrya and ‘escape’ parasitism. We conclude that parasitism can strongly influence dinoflagellate bloom dynamics in upwelling systems. Moreover, Amoebophrya may indirectly influence net phytoplankton species composition, as species that dominated the net phytoplankton and developed algal blooms never appeared to be infected.  相似文献

In response to wildlife mortality including unexplained eared grebe (Podiceps nigricollis) die-off events in 1992 and 1994 and other mortality events including large fish kills, a survey was conducted for the presence of algal toxins in the Salton Sea. Goals of this survey were to determine if and when algal toxins are present in the Salton Sea and to describe the phytoplankton composition during those times. A total of 29 samples was collected for toxicity analysis from both nearshore and midlake sites visited biweekly from January to December 1999. Dinoflagellates and diatoms dominated most samples, but some were dominated by a prymnesiophyte (Pleurochrysis pseudoroscoffensis) or a raphidophyte (Chattonella marina). Several types of blooms were observed and sampled. The dinoflagellate Gyrodinium uncatenum formed an extensive, dense (up to 310000 cells ml–1) and long-lasting bloom during the winter in 1999. A coccolithophorid, Pleurochrysis pseudoroscoffensis, occurred at high densities in surface films and nearshore areas during the spring and summer of 1999. These surface films also contained high densities of one or two other species (an unidentified scrippsielloid, Heterocapsa niei, Chattonella marina). Localized blooms were also observed in the Salton Sea. An unknown small dinoflagellate reached high densities (110000 cells ml–1) inside Varner Harbor, and an unidentified species of Gymnodinium formed a dense (270000 cells ml–1) band along part of the southern shoreline during the summer. Three species known to produce toxins in other systems were found. Protoceratium reticulatum (=Gonyaulax grindleyi) and Chattonella marina were found in several samples taken during summer months, and Prorocentrum minimum was found in low densities in several samples. Extracts of most samples, including those containing known toxic species, showed a low level (<10% mortality across all concentrations) of activity in the brine shrimp lethality assay and were not considered toxic. All sample extracts tested in the mouse bioassay showed no activity. One sample extract taken from the bloom of the small dinoflagellate was highly active (100% mortality across all concentrations) in the brine shrimp lethality assay, but the active material could not be isolated. While dense algal blooms are common at the Salton Sea, no evidence gathered in this study suggests that algal toxins are present within phytoplankton cells; however, toxins actively excreted by cells may have been missed. Blooms of phytoplankton likely contribute to wildlife mortality at the Salton Sea. Possible mechanisms including intoxication due to ingestion of feathers in grebes and waterlogging caused by changes in surface tension are discussed.  相似文献

1. In situ enclosure experiments were performed in the mesotrophic Bermejales reservoir to evaluate the algal response to changes in the nutrient supply and in the zooplankton size structure and density in a 2 × 2 factorial design. The experiments were conducted during the spring bloom of nanoplanktonic diatoms in 1989. 2. Nutrient enrichment promoted a great increase of phytoplankton biomass indicating a strong nutrient limitation on phytoplankton growth. Total phytoplankton biomass was significantly lower in the Daphina-added enclosures at a given nutrient level and strong direct an indirect effect of zooplankton on phytoplankton community structure and nutrient availability were observed. 3. Most of the nanoplanktonic species were effectively grazed but species with protective coverings and large size colonies were favoured by grazers and small chlorococcales were unaffected probably because of their compensatory high growth rates. The decrease in total biomass imposed by grazers is attributable mainly to the decrease of Cyclotella ocellata, the most abundant species. This taxon suffers two net effects of zooplankton: direct grazing and the indirect decrease of Si availability caused by the growth of C. ocellata which was promoted by P excretion by zooplankton. Indirect effects of grazers on Si availability should, therefore, be taken into account in explaining phytoplankton succession and community structure. 4. In this experiment grazers affected considerably the nanoplanktonic community in Bermejales reservoir. The extent which they were affected, however, depended not only on the algal size as a determinant of edibility but also greatly on the specific nutrient requirements and taxonomic features of the algal species.  相似文献

Seasonal pulses of phytoplankton drive seasonal cycles of carbon fixation and particle sedimentation, and might condition recruitment success in many exploited species. Taking advantage of long‐term series of remotely sensed chlorophyll a (1998–2012), we analyzed changes in phytoplankton seasonality in the North Atlantic Ocean. Phytoplankton phenology was analyzed based on a probabilistic characterization of bloom incidence. This approach allowed us to detect changes in the prevalence of different seasonal cycles and, at the same time, to estimate bloom timing and magnitude taking into account uncertainty in bloom detection. Deviations between different sensors stressed the importance of a prolonged overlap between successive missions to ensure a correct assessment of phenological changes, as well as the advantage of semi‐analytical chlorophyll algorithms over empirical ones to reduce biases. Earlier and more intense blooms were detected in the subpolar Atlantic, while advanced blooms of less magnitude were common in the Subtropical gyre. In the temperate North Atlantic, spring blooms advanced their timing and decreased in magnitude, whereas fall blooms delayed and increased their intensity. At the same time, the prevalence of locations with a single autumn/winter bloom or with a bimodal seasonal cycle increased, in consonance with a poleward expansion of subtropical conditions. Changes in bloom timing and magnitude presented a clear signature of environmental factors, especially wind forcing, although changes on incident photosynthetically active radiation and sea surface temperature were also important depending on latitude. Trends in bloom magnitude matched changes in mean chlorophyll a during the study period, suggesting that seasonal peaks drive long‐term trends in chlorophyll a concentration. Our results link changes in North Atlantic climate with recent trends in the phenology of phytoplankton, suggesting an intensification of these impacts in the near future.  相似文献

Microbial degradation of algal biomass following spring phytoplankton blooms has been characterised as a concerted effort among multiple clades of heterotrophic bacteria. Despite their significance to overall carbon turnover, many of these clades have resisted cultivation. One clade known from 16S rRNA gene sequencing surveys at Helgoland in the North Sea, was formerly identified as belonging to the genus Ulvibacter. This clade rapidly responds to algal blooms, transiently making up as much as 20% of the free-living bacterioplankton. Sequence similarity below 95% between the 16S rRNA genes of described Ulvibacter species and those from Helgoland suggest this is a novel genus. Analysis of 40 metagenome assembled genomes (MAGs) derived from samples collected during spring blooms at Helgoland support this conclusion. These MAGs represent three species, only one of which appears to bloom in response to phytoplankton. MAGs with estimated completeness greater than 90% could only be recovered for this abundant species. Additional, less complete, MAGs belonging to all three species were recovered from a mini-metagenome of cells sorted via flow cytometry using the genus specific ULV995 fluorescent rRNA probe. Metabolic reconstruction indicates this highly abundant species most likely degrades proteins and the polysaccharide laminarin. Fluorescence in situ hybridisation showed coccoid cells, with a mean diameter of 0.78 mm, with standard deviation of 0.12 μm. Based on the phylogenetic and genomic characteristics of this clade, we propose the novel candidate genus Candidatus Prosiliicoccus, and for the most abundant and well characterised of the three species the name Candidatus Prosiliicoccus vernus.  相似文献

Long-term sampling of intertidal macroalgae along permanently marked transects within San Francisco Bay has shown a marked decline in overall species number along the estuarine gradient from the ocean to the river, presumably as a result of decreasing salinity and a progressive lack of hard substrata in the upstream direction. Green algae penetrated further landward than either brown or red species. Seasonally, macroalgal species diversity is lowest during the winter-spring months when salinity, temperature, and irradiance are at yearly minima. Macroalgal abundance as measured by percent cover was maximum during the late spring near the mouth of the estuary and during late summer towards the head. The seasonal increase in algal abundance is related to increasing salinity, temperature, and light availability to the bottom. The summer increase in irradiance is due to the longer photoperiod, increased frequency of day-time low tides, and reduced levels of suspended sediments. The aperiodic occurrence of algal blooms in San Pablo Bay may be caused by a combination of physical factors which are ultimately associated with the river inflow. A hypothesis based on interannual differences in river inflow and the contribution of phytoplankton to nutrient cycles in the benthos is presented to explain the occurrence of nuisance algal blooms.  相似文献

Changes in phytoplankton community composition potentially affect the entire marine food web. Because of seasonal cycles and inter-annual variations in species composition, long-term monitoring, covering many sequential years, is required to establish a baseline study and to reveal long-term trends. The current study describes the phytoplankton biomass variations and species composition in relation to hydrographic and meteorological conditions in the Raunefjord, western Norway, over a 6-year period from 2001 to 2006. The extent of inflow or upwelling in the fjord varied from year to year and resulted in pronounced differences in water column stability. The annual phytoplankton community succession showed some repeated seasonal patterns, but also high variability between years. Two to four diatom blooms were observed per year, and the spring blooms occurring before water column stratification in March were dominated by Skeletonema marinoi and Chaetoceros socialis, and other Chaetoceros and Thalassiosira spp. Blooms of the haptophytes Phaeocystis pouchetii and Emiliania huxleyi were irregular and in some years totally absent. Although E. huxleyi was present all year round it appeared in bloom concentrations only in 2003, when the summer was warm and the water column characterized by high surface temperatures and pronounced stratification. The annual average abundance of both diatoms and flagellates increased during the six years. Despite the high variation from year to year, our investigation provides valuable knowledge about annual phytoplankton community patterns in the region, and can be used as a reference to detect possible future changes.  相似文献

Silica-scaled chrysophytes are a special group in the phytoplankton of rivers and shallow lakes. They are present the whole year at low density, but sometimes — mainly during autumn and spring — some species can become frequent and very numerous to form real water blooms. In this study, seven species of silica-scaled chrysophytes have been recorded and identified by electron microscopy of phytoplankton samples from some rivers and shallow lakes in Hungary. Most of these silica-scaled chrysophytes have previously been found in eutrophic and hypertrophic localities, and almost all of them are common and widely distributed, even cosmopolitan. Only Synura echinulata Korshikov has not previously been recorded from Hungary. Some of them as Synura curtispina (Petersen & Hansen) Asmund, S. petersenii Korshikov, Mallomonas acaroides Perty emend. Ivanov, M. tonsurata Teiling were frequently found in the phytoplankton samples. Sometimes in autumn and winter Synura petersenii was the most abundant species in the phytoplankton and formed blooms.  相似文献
