【目的】为研究内蒙古典型草原粪食性金龟对放牧牲畜粪的取食偏好和日活动节律特征。【方法】2010年6、8和10月,以3种放牧牲畜(牛、马和羊)鲜粪块为诱饵,采用诱捕法采集粪食性金龟。【结果】内蒙古典型草原粪食性金龟显示对3种放牧牲畜(牛、马和羊)粪块的多食性特征,但不同功能群或不同物种显示不同取食偏好以及不同的日活动节律特征。中型掘洞型粪食性金龟(如小驼嗡蜣螂Onthophagus gibbulus、黑缘嗡蜣螂O.marginalis nigrimargo和游荡蜉金龟Aphodius erraticus)显示对牛粪的取食偏好、以及昼行性行为特征;中型和小型粪居型粪食性金龟(如马粪蜉金龟A.subterraneus、泥蜉金龟A.sordescens和符号蜉金龟A.comma等)则偏好取食马粪,小型粪居型粪食性金龟(如符号蜉金龟)有全天活动的行为特征。【结论】在内蒙古典型草原粪食性金龟取食偏好和日活动节律的形成和进化中,体型和行为特征是主要内因,牲畜粪块的外形和理化性质、以及季节更替中的气温变化是重要外因。  相似文献

青藏高原高寒草甸的降水年际变化很大,而且在未来全球气候变化的背景下可能进一步增大.为了研究降水量变化对川西北高寒草甸牦牛粪分解的潜在影响,通过塑料膜覆盖(去除降水)、模拟额外增水(增水量为实际降水量的50%)和对照(野外无干扰情形)形成3种不同的水分处理.测定了牛粪的含水量、干重及氮磷含量,并统计了主要分解者(手捡法获取粪食性甲虫及其幼虫)的种类和数量.结果发现:覆盖处理显著地降低了牛粪含水量、牛粪中的粪食性甲虫数量与牛粪分解量,但增水处理并没有显著影响牛粪的分解进程,可能与实验期间降水量较高有关.在牛粪分解前期,粪食性甲虫数量与牛粪含水量之间正相关,而牛粪分解量与粪食性甲虫数量之间正相关,说明牛粪含水量的高低影响了粪食性甲虫数量,进而决定了牛粪分解量.但是,降水量的人为增加或减少均没有显著地改变牛粪中的全氮和全磷含量.总体上看,在高寒草甸的放牧生态系统中,降水量的减少将会降低牛粪的分解速率、延长牛粪分解过程,从而可能会降低生态系统的生产力水平.  相似文献

直蜉金龟Phaeaphodius rectus(Motschulsky)是一种常见的粪食性甲虫,广泛分布于亚洲东部地区,其幼虫粪食性,对降解牲畜粪便具有重要意义。本研究通过采集和人工饲养获得了直蜉金龟卵、幼虫和蛹,运用扫描电子显微技术,对直蜉金龟3龄幼虫进行了形态观察。直蜉金龟3龄幼虫具有一系列特殊的超微形态特征,包括:内唇前惊刺由三叉状、二叉状及独立不分叉的3种惊刺组成;端感区具有一对三瓣状感器;覆毛区钩状刚毛形态为片状。  相似文献

2007年4-10月,采用野外和室内实验相结合的方法,研究了荒漠草原马粪中的粪金龟子群落组成和对马粪分解的影响.共捕获粪金龟子13528头,隶属于3科4属26种,优势种为符号蜉金龟(Aphodius comma),占总捕获量的88.5%,不同季节粪金龟子群落组成明显不同;在鲜马粪中活动的粪金龟子以粪居型蜉金龟为主,在鲜马粪堆置3d时种数和个体数达到最高,6d后全部离开;马粪经过136 d分解,残留率为52.5%,残留粪样中氮和磷释放较慢,钾释放较快;结合室内分解实验的结果,认为粪金龟子主要通过在马粪中活动对其分解产生影响,并与风蚀作用成为荒漠草原马粪块破碎的重要动因,主要发生在春季和秋季.  相似文献

以宁夏盐池国家级草原资源生态监测站为依托,选择荒漠草原典型植被类型的封育与未封育样地调查了地面节肢动物、植被及土壤特征,同时根据动物食性对节肢动物功能群进行了划分.结果表明:荒漠草原地面节肢动物可划分为捕食性、植食性、腐食性和杂食性4种营养功能群.其中,植食性和捕食性节肢动物在数量上占优势,植食性和腐食性节肢动物生物量所占比例较大,表明荒漠草原地面节肢动物区系以植食性动物分布为其主要特征.围栏封育增加了捕食性、植食性和杂食性节肢动物个体数量和类群数,增加了捕食性和杂食性节肢动物的生物量,提高了捕食性和植食性节肢动物的物种多样性,这与植被恢复和土壤环境改善密切相关,说明荒漠草原围栏封育增加了地面节肢动物功能群的多样性和复杂性.但是围栏封育后,腐食性节肢动物个体数量减少,生物量降低,反映了腐食性节肢动物对放牧草地生境的依赖性.  相似文献

圈养草食性野生动物产生的大量粪便堆积容易造成环境污染,且处理耗时耗力。如果能筛选、利用粪食性金龟对草食性野生动物粪便进行处理,无疑具有一定的应用价值。本研究于2019年8和9月,以南京红山森林动物园3种圈养草食性野生动物,亚洲象(Elephas maximus)、黇鹿(Dama dama)和长颈鹿(Giraffa camelopardalis)的新鲜粪便为诱饵,在南京紫金山研究了粪便对粪食性金龟的引诱效果。本实验分为2个阶段,第1阶段采用更换陷阱法,第2阶段采用放置陷阱法,采用单因素方差分析(One-way ANOVA)对粪食性金龟诱捕数量进行检验。第1阶段更换陷阱法共引诱采集粪食性金龟4 597头,隶属于1科5属7种,优势种为中华嗡蜣螂(Onthophagus sinicus)和短亮凯蜣螂(Caccobius brevis),占总捕获量的比例分别为48.79%和30.95%。第2阶段放置陷阱法共引诱采集粪食性金龟3 512头,同样隶属于1科5属7种,物种与阶段1实验结果相同。粪食性金龟对3种野生动物粪便显示多食性特征,在3种粪便中取食活动的有效时间段主要集中在1 ~ 2 d内,活动时间较短,粪便放置第7天,基本不存在粪食性金龟的活动。粪食性金龟群落的Shannon-Wiener多样性指数和Pielou均匀度指数在亚洲象粪便中相对较高。本研究表明,动物园3种圈养草食性野生动物粪便对粪食性金龟具有较好的引诱效果,未来需进一步研究粪食性金龟对粪便的处理效果。  相似文献

辽东山区次生林与人工林大型地表节肢动物多样性   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
采用陷阱法在地表节肢动物活动高峰期(7—8月)对辽东山区蒙古栎(Quercus mongolica)林、胡桃楸(Juglans mandshurica)林和阔叶混交林3种次生林以及红松(Pinus koraiensis)人工林和落叶松(Larix spp.)人工林地表节肢动物群落进行了调查。共捕获地表节肢动物5135头,隶属于7纲18目66个类群,优势类群为蚁科(20.4%)、葬甲科(19.5%)、蜣螂科(17.2%)和步甲科(14.5%);地表节肢动物的功能群丰度依次为:腐食性杂食性捕食性植食性;系统聚类分析表明,地表节肢动物群落和地表甲虫群落均显示红松人工林、落叶松人工林和胡桃楸林群落结构聚为一类,蒙古栎林和阔叶混交林群落聚为一类;冗余度分析表明,凋落物厚度、植被盖度与树高因子可以解释地表节肢动物及地表甲虫群落差异的85.9%和81.9%。研究结果表明,研究区森林植被及凋落物状况、人为干扰是影响研究区大型地表节肢动物群落多样性的重要因素。  相似文献

The favourability of cattle dung from a native pasture near Rockhampton, Queensland, as a food source was tested monthly in the laboratory for 2 yr using 3 dung-breeding insects: the buffalo fly, Haematobia irritans exigua De Meijere; the bush fly, Musca vetustissima Walker; and a dung beetle, Euoniticellus intermedius (Reiche). Dung produced by cattle grazing on this pasture during the summer wet season yielded larger flies of both species and more broods from the dung beetle than dung from the same pasture in winter. When reared in summer dung, the buffalo fly almost attained its maximum recorded size but the bush fly and dung beetle reached ca two-thirds maximum recorded size and brood production respectively. Bush flies failed to breed in dung collected for 4 consecutive months in winter each year but survival of buffalo flies showed no seasonal trends.
The early response of the buffalo fly to improving dung quality in late winter/early spring gives it an advantage enabling its populations to increase earlier than those of its competitors, including the dung beetle, E. intermedius.  相似文献

Cattle were treated with topical formulations of endectocides to assess the larvicidal activity of faecal residues against horn fly, Haematobia irritans (L.), house fly, Musca domestica L., and stable fly, Stomoxys calcitrans (L.) (Diptera: Muscidae). In laboratory bioassays, doramectin, eprinomectin and ivermectin suppressed horn fly in dung of cattle treated at least 4 weeks previously and suppressed house fly and stable fly in dung of cattle treated 1-5 weeks previously. Moxidectin suppressed horn fly in dung from cattle treated no more than one week previously and did not suppress house fly and stable fly. Results combined for the three species across two experiments suggested that, ranked in descending order of larvicidal activity, doramectin > ivermectin approximately = eprinomectin > moxidectin.  相似文献

Abstract
Bush flies, Musca vetustissima attracted to a human, and arthropod fauna attracted to fresh cattle dung in 24 hours, were sampled every 2 weeks for 2 years (1980–1982) near Alice Springs in central Australia. Substantial rain fell in both summers, but it was more prolonged in the second. The bush fly occurred and bred throughout the year, although its abundance was usually low. The only major increase in bush fly abundance occurred after the first summer's rainfall caused the growth of new herbage. This was followed by increased feeding on dung by adult flies and intensified breeding. Bush fly abundance was low in the second summer, despite evidence of a long period of continuous breeding. A variety of dung-feeding and predatory beetles and also mites was almost always present, although numbers were usually low. The introduced dung beetles Euoniticellus intermedius and Onthophagus gazella numerically dominated samples. Dung fauna abundance also increased after significant rainfall, particularly in the second summer. Dissections of the dung beetles showed that they bred at these times.  相似文献

Egg to pupal survival of bush fly,Musca vetustissima Walker, under field conditions was examined during 1987/88 in an area of south-eastern Australia that had not been colonised by exotic dung beetles. In pads of cattle dung containing only the native fauna, fly survival ranged from 0.3% to 12.5%. The addition of 2 species of exotic dung beetles,Euoniticellus fulvus (Goeze) andOnthophagus taurus (Schreber) to field pads, in numbers similar to those observed at the collection site, reduced fly survival to between 0.3% and 4.4%. Fly survival in the presence of the native and exotic dung fauna was sufficiently low to keep fly breeding below their mean replacement level of 3% for most of the season. Widespread dispersal and establishment of exotic dung beetles in south-eastern Australia, alongside the native fauna, should lead to long-term reduction of the bush fly problem.   相似文献

Effects of the antiparasitic drug eprinomectin were studied in the laboratory and field experiments in Hokkaido, Japan, by pour-on administrations (500 μg/kg) on the pest fly Haematobia irritans (Linnaeus), nontarget coprophagous fly Neomyia cornicina (Fabricius), and the dung beetles Caccobius jessoensis Harold and Liatongus minutus (Motschulsky). Eprinomectin excreted into cattle dung was highest at 3 days post-treatment in both experiments, then it declined rapidly at 7 days and was not detected on or after day 14 post-treatment. In laboratory experiments, pupation and emergence rates of H. irritans and N. cornicina were hampered from 1 to 14 days post-treatment. There were no significant differences in the numbers of brood balls constructed by C. jessoensis in dung from treated and control cattle. Adult emergence rates of C. jessoensis were significantly reduced on days 1 and 3 post-treatment in dung from treated cattle. There were no significant differences in the numbers of brood balls constructed by L. minutus in dung from treated and control cattle, but survival rates of larvae were significantly reduced on days 1 and 3 post-treatment. In field experiments, the numbers of brood balls by L. minutus recovered from beneath dung pats were significantly larger in number in dung from treated cattle, suggesting that adult beetles are attracted to dung pats from treated cattle. Survival rates of larvae in these brood balls of L. minutus were significantly reduced 1 day post-treatment in dung pats from treated cattle, and equivalent levels to the control were restored 7 days post-treatment. The results are discussed in relation to the effects of endectocides on nontarget insects in grazing pastures.  相似文献

The toxicity of dung from cattle treated with an ivermectin sustained-release bolus was estimated in terms of ivermectin or ivermectin equivalents, using a laboratory bioassay with the dung fly Neomyia cornicina Fabricius (Diptera, Muscidae). The mortalities of flies measured 7 days after feeding for 24 h on dung containing known concentrations of ivermectin (between 0.125 and 1 g ivermectin per gram fresh dung) were compared with the mortalities of insects fed for 24 h on dung from cattle treated 21 days previously with an ivermectin sustained-release bolus. The toxicity of the bolus dung was equivalent to dung containing 0.66 g ivermectin per gram fresh dung. To determine whether insects could differentiate between control dung and dung from bolus-treated cattle, choice-chamber tests were carried out. There was no significant difference in the percentage of females that chose either dung type, suggesting that they were unable to distinguish the dung of bolus-treated cattle from control dung. Results are discussed in relation to the impact that bolus use can have on the insect fauna of cattle dung.  相似文献

Horn flies [Haematobia irritans (Diptera: Muscidae) (L.)] and face flies [Musca autumnalis (Diptera: Muscidae) De Geer] use the same larval resource, but their interactions are poorly studied. Dung pats (n = 350) were core sampled in the summers of 2012 and 2013 from irrigated pastures in Pomona, California, U.S.A. (34°03′N, 117°48′W) and held for face fly and horn fly emergence. Surface areas and estimated weights were recorded for each whole pat. Almost half (42.0%) of the pat cores yielded neither fly, 29.7% yielded horn flies only, 12.9% yielded face flies only and 15.4% yielded both flies. Of the fly‐positive pats, surface area and mass were larger for face fly‐occupied pats, whereas horn fly‐occupied pats were smaller. Pats shared by the two species were intermediate. Horn flies per positive core were unaffected by the absence/presence of face flies, but half as many face flies emerged when pats were co‐inhabited by horn flies. Face flies inhabited larger pats, which might better resist heating and drying, to which they are susceptible; horn flies inhabited a broad pat size range. Horn fly tolerance of lower dung moisture probably allows horn flies to colonize and survive in a wide range of pats in dry areas like southern California.  相似文献

Laboratory studies were conducted to determine the effects of horn fly, Haematobia irritans (L.), and house fly, Musca domestica L., larvae on the development of a mixed population of parasitic nematodes in compressed and crumbled bovine dung. Fresh dung (100 g per sample) from a single calf passing trichostrongyle type eggs was infested with 150 horn fly or 150 house fly eggs. After 14-15 d, more horn flies and house flies had emerged from the compressed dung than from the crumbled dung, but more third stage parasitic nematode larvae were recovered from the crumbled dung containing either fly species than from dung containing no flies.  相似文献

土壤动物是陆地生态系统的重要组分, 在有机质分解过程中具有重要作用。目前有关土壤动物在生态系统分解中的作用研究主要聚焦于植物凋落物的分解, 而对动物粪便分解的研究稀少。本研究在内蒙古典型草原设置了马粪和牛粪分解原位实验, 使用不同孔径的金属隔离网排除不同体型大小的土壤动物, 通过测定大中型土壤动物对畜粪分解过程中质量损失、碳氮含量和微生物呼吸以及土壤养分动态变化的影响, 解析其在分解中的作用。设置5个处理, 即CK, 仅土壤, 无粪; T0, 粪添加+0.425 mm隔离网(排除了粪居型和掘洞型粪金龟和中型土壤动物); T1, 粪添加+1 mm隔离网(排除了粪居型和掘洞型粪金龟); T2, 粪添加+2 mm隔离网(排除了掘洞型粪金龟); T3, 仅粪添加(不排除土壤动物)。结果表明: (1)在畜粪分解60天内, 土壤动物对畜粪的干质量损失没有显著的促进作用(P > 0.05); 相反, 在畜粪分解360天, 不隔离土壤动物处理(T3)显著地提高了牛粪干质量损失(P < 0.05), 而降低了马粪干质量损失(P < 0.05)。(2)在畜粪分解的60天内, 畜粪中碳和氮含量下降速度在有土壤动物存在的情况下(T3)快于隔离土壤动物(T0和T1)。(3)两种畜粪添加增加了土壤微生物的呼吸, 且这种增加趋势在实验的第15天和第30天在土壤动物存在时(T3)最明显。(4)与对照(CK)相比, 马粪添加处理提高了土壤速效氮、有机碳的含量和土壤含水量, 且这种增加趋势在排除掘洞型粪金龟(T2)和不排除土壤动物(T3)条件下表现更显著(P < 0.05), 而牛粪添加处理没有明显改变这些指标(P > 0.05)。研究表明, 分解初期粪金龟的取食和活动会改变畜粪的理化性质, 进而影响分解后期土壤生物在畜粪分解中的作用。  相似文献
