Soil samples from rice-fields, collected at monthly intervals, were analysed by baiting technique for the incidence of keratino-philic fungi. Nine species, among a total of 102 species isolated by various methods, were keratinophilic species (8.8%). These were recorded from 38 out of 45 samples collected. The distribution pattern of the different keratinophilic fungi and their significance are discussed.  相似文献

Summary Keratinophilic fungi have been isolated and identified in soil samples from 233 sites in Queensland and 12 from the Northern Territory. Total numbers of the fungi isolated are given, together with their occurrence in various broad types of locality.It is noted that populated localities produced a higher incidence of keratinophilic fungi than remote areas. Exceptions to this were found in beach sand, 17 samples of which produced only two growths ofChrysosporium species and no potentially pathogenic fungi.Culture technique, and the method of examination of colonies are discussed, and the morphological features of several of the more commonly occurring species are described.Isolates ofChrysosporium tropicum were made from two samples, one from Alice Springs and one from Brisbane. This is the first time this fungus has been reported in Australia.  相似文献

Indoor fungi in Taipei were surveyed during 1969-1974 using Sabouraud's agar plates. No remarkable yearly variation of fungal incidence was observed. The fungal population was found to be different from home to home. The dominant members were Aspergillus, Penicillium, Mycelia sterila, Oospora, Rhodotorula, Hormodendrum and yeasts. The order of frequency of fungi found indoors was quite different from that of outdoor fungi. The fungal spores were more numerous during summer months, and this trend was more apparent for Aspergillus, Oospora, Rhodotorula, and Hormodendrum. The kind and the incidence of fungi found in asthmatic homes were not different from those detected in non-asthmatic homes, except that in asthmatic homes there were greater numbers of fungi.  相似文献

茶树品种、叶片生育期和茶叶化学成份对内生真菌的影响   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
通过茶树品种、叶片龄期及叶片化学成份对茶树内生真菌分布影响的研究,发现:(1)在供试的4个茶树品种中,黄旦的内生真菌分离频率达100%,而福云六号只有7.5%,表明茶树品种不同或遗传背景不同,其叶片中内生真菌的发生存在明显差异。(2)随着茶树叶片的成熟,叶片中内生真菌的种类与数量逐渐增多,与叶片龄期呈正相关,叶片龄期影响茶树内生真菌的种群结构。(3)不同龄期叶片水浸提液对Colletotrichum、Pestalotiopsis、Guignardia三种茶树上的主要内生真菌的生长产生不同的影响;在PDA培养基中添加15%的茶多酚,对此3种内生真菌均有一定的抑制作用,但抑制程度有所不同,表明茶树叶片的化学成份是影响内生真菌分布的重要因素之一。  相似文献

探讨胃溃疡、胃癌组织中幽门螺杆菌(Helicobacter pylori,Hp)、真菌(Fungi)单纯感染及混合感染的可能性并进行验证。应用聚合酶链反应(PCR)技术,分别自4例胃溃疡和4例胃癌并伴单纯幽门螺杆菌、真菌及其混合感染病例石蜡包埋组织(FFPE)中扩增Hp及fungi基因特异片段并进行测序分析。成功提取了FF-PE胃组织基因组DNA,并扩增出Hp 16S rRNA及真菌内转录间隔区18S rDNA基因和28S rDNA之间的基因特异条带,测序大小分别为114 bp和357 bp,经在线BLAST比对分析表明所扩增基因与Hp及真菌核苷酸具有高度同源性。胃溃疡、胃癌组织中存在Hp和真菌单纯感染及混合感染。推测Hp与真菌混合感染可能是加重胃溃疡发展和诱发胃癌发生的又一致病因素。积极治疗Hp与真菌混合感染有助于提高胃溃疡的治愈率和减少胃癌的发生。  相似文献

丛枝菌根(arbuscular mycorrhiza,AM)共生体系对于植物适应各种逆境胁迫具有重要积极作用。AM真菌还能够通过根外菌丝网络调节植物群落结构和演替,深刻影响生态系统结构和功能的稳定性。AM真菌生态生理功能的发挥主要取决于其生态适应性,明确AM真菌在不同环境中的多样性、生态适应性以及对各种生态因子的响应机制,是AM真菌资源管理、功能发掘与利用的前提。迄今为止,有关各种生态因子对AM真菌多样性的影响已有不少研究,但是AM真菌生态分布及其形成机制仍缺乏系统的研究和理论分析。综述了生物因子和非生物因子对AM真菌生态分布的影响,结合大型生物空间分布理论探讨了AM真菌生态分布规律和建成机制,分析了当前本研究领域所存在的问题和动向,以期推动相关研究进展。  相似文献

An ecological study was carried out on the fungal flora in the human lung of 159 autopsy cases. Fungi were isolated from 129 cases (81.1%). Filamentous fungi consisting of 918 strains were isolated from 113 cases, and the dominant genera were Aspergillus and Penicillium. Yeasts were isolated from 58 cases, and the dominant genus appeared to be Candida.With morbid anatomical study, the incidence of the fungus isolation was examined from various points of view. It was concluded that even a healthy respiratory parenchyma of the human lung cannot be assumed as aseptic. However, only a few numbers of a few genera of air-born fungi were isolated.Special stress was laid on the exposure of the respiratory parenchyma of the human lung to air-born fungi in connection with the pathogenesis of opportunistic fungus infections.  相似文献

AM真菌是农业生态系中一类重要的土壤微生物,它在农田土壤中的发生和分布受多种环境因素的影响。为深入了解我国北方农田土壤中AM真菌的多样性规律,于2000年在河北、山东的农田土壤中采集有代表性的土样127个。通过进一步扩繁、纯化,从中分离出AM真菌5属22种,鉴定了20个种,包括一个国内新记录种沾屑球囊霉(Glomus spurcum)。分析AM真菌的多样性特点及其影响因素发现,农田土壤中以球囊霉属(Glomus)的频度最高,其次为无梗囊霉属(Acaulospora);优势种类为幼套球囊霉(Glomus etunicatum)和摩西球囊霉(Glomus mosseae).土壤速效磷含量、pH状况主要对孢子密度产生影响,对种群分布影响不大。宿主植物类型对AM真菌的侵染状况和多样性影响较大;比较玉米(Zea mays)、甘薯(Ipomoea batatas)根区AM真菌的种群组成后发现两者有所不同,但优势种一致.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to describe the incidence of contamination of pharmaceutical products by melanized fungi and to consider control measures in relation to bioburden and cleanrooms. This study reviews and analyses pharmaceutical product recalls and offers incidence rates of fungal detection from a typical cleanrooms. The recalls include some serious cases which resulted in the loss of life. Of different types of fungal contamination incidences some of the most damaging have been due to melanized fungi (‘black mould’), such as Exserohilum rostratum. The focus of the article is with melanized fungi. The study concludes that, from the review of recent pharmaceutical product recalls, fungal contamination is either increasingly common within cleanroom environments or the accuracy of sampling and the level of reporting has risen. The prevalence of melanized fungi in pharmaceutical facilities rests on specific virulence factors particular to these types of fungi, which are outlined. The article identifies a gap in the way that such fungi are screened for using available cultural methods. The article provides some control strategies, including assessing the suitability of disinfectants and biocides, for reducing the risk of melanized fungal incidences within the pharmaceutical facility. Understanding the fungal risk to pharmaceutical products remains a poorly understood and often overlooked aspect of pharmaceutical microbiology. This article helps to identify this risk and offer some guidance to those involved with pharmaceutical products manufacture in relation to bio‐contamination control strategies.  相似文献

One hundred samples of tomato seeds were collected in 2011 and 2012 from tomato-cultivated fields in Saudi Arabia and screened for their seed-borne mycoflora. A total of 30 genera and 57 species of fungi were recovered from the collected seed samples using agar plate and deep-freezing blotter methods. The two methods differed as regards the frequency of recovered seed-borne fungi. Seven fungi among those recovered from tomato seeds, which are known as plant pathogens, were tested for their pathogenicity and transmission on tomato seedlings. The recovery rate of these pathogens gradually decreased from root up to the upper stem, and did not reach to the stem apex. The distribution of tomato seed-borne fungi was also investigated throughout Saudi Arabia. In this concern, Al-Madena governorate recorded the highest incidence of fungal flora associated with tomato seeds. The impact of meteorological variables on the distribution of tomato seed-borne mycoflora was explored using the ordination technique (canonical correspondence analysis). Among all climatic factors, relative humidity was the most influential variable in this regard. Our findings may provide a valuable contribution to our understanding of future global disease change and may be used also to predict disease occurrence and fungal transfer to new uninfected areas.  相似文献

G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) are critical factors in regulating morphogenesis, mating, infection and virulence in fungi. In this study, various computational strategies were applied to identify GPCR-like proteins from the genomes of both Verticillium dahliae and Verticillium albo-atrum. The putative GPCRs were distributed over 13 classes, and significantly, three of those represented novel classes of GPCR-like proteins in fungi. The three novel GPCRs had high levels of identity to their counterparts in higher eukaryotes, including Homo sapiens. The numbers of GPCR-like proteins in the two Verticillium spp. were similar to those seen in other filamentous fungi, such as Magnaporthe grisea, Neurospora crassa and Fusarium graminearum. Additionally, the carbon/amino acid receptors were divided into three different subclasses, indicating that differences among the GPCRs existed not only among different classes but also within classes. In conclusion, the identification and classification of GPCRs and their homology to some well-studied fungi will be an important starting point for future research in Verticillium spp.  相似文献

This study investigated the incidence of keratinolytic and non-keratinolytic fungi grown above or below a 1-cm sewage sludge blanket. The hair baiting method was used. Incubation was carried out at 23 and 37  °C. The number of keratinolytic fungi occurrences below a sludge blanket (anoxic conditions) was almost two times smaller than the number of fungal occurrences above this blanket (oxic conditions). The anoxic conditions did not significantly affect the number of non-keratinolytic fungi. Qualitative differences were also observed. Trichophyton ajelloi with its teleomorph Arthroderma uncinatum and some other fungi were found to prefer oxic conditions. In the case of non-keratinolytic fungi, the most evident differences were observed at 37  °C. Aspergillus fumigatus prevailed above a sludge blanket, while Pseudallescheria boydii was the predominating species below this blanket. The incidence of keratinolytic fungi was dependent on sludge physico-chemical characteristics: mainly on sludge organic matter stabilization (total nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen contents, proteolytic activity and C:N ratio) and hygienization (total and fecal coliforms) factors.  相似文献

Pecan nuts were selected at various points during routine harvesting, and nutmeats were analyzed for gross and internal fungal contamination and for the presence of Aspergillus flavus and A. parasiticus. Fungi were isolated from a large percentage of the nutmeats at all points of examination. No correlations could be made between increased incidence of fungi and particular harvesting procedures.  相似文献

Bioremediation is an integrated management of a polluted ecosystem where different organisms are employed to catalyze the natural processes that decontaminate the environment. The potential role of bioremediation, particularly higher terrestrial plants (phytoremediation) research in the remediation of metal-polluted sites, has been the focus of much research in recent years. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi are soil microorganisms that establish mutual symbiosis with the majority of higher plants, providing direct links between fungi and roots. This paper reviews the incidence of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in metal polluted sites, their role in imparting metal tolerance to plants, the factors affecting arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in metal polluted sites, and their mechanism of heavy metal tolerance. 对渤海湾的海岛林地(IFL),黄河三角洲盐碱地(SAS)、鲁西南煤矿(CMS)和内蒙古退化草原(DGL)等几种生态环境中丛枝菌根(Arbuscular mycorrhiza,AM)真菌的多样性进行了调查。结果表明,在所调查的样点中,AM真菌的物种多样性不同,IFL中的最高,其次是SAS,CMS和DGL的最低。各地AM真菌种的丰度、孢子密度、频度、相对多度等也差异较大。这与各生态环境中的生态因子的差异相关。在总体上,Glomus属在各采样点出现的频度和相对多度最高,其次是Acaulospora属。但不同生态环境之问又存在差异,例如CMS中Acaulospora属的频度和相对多度比Glomus属的高。在IFL中,Gigaspora属的相对多度比Acaulospora属的高。各生态环境中的生态优势种不同,如在CMS中是A.mellea,在IFL和SAS土壤中却分别是G.margarita和G.caledonium,而DGL中各个种的分布却较均衡。  相似文献

Inoculation with Fusarium udum Butl. produced more wilt of pigeon-pea in sterilized than in unsterilized soils at the same pH. From unsterilized soils with low disease incidence, nine fungi, Bacillus subtilis and an Actinomyces were isolated. The number of isolations of a particular organism varied from month to month during the cropping season of pigeon-pea in Delhi. Interaction of Fusarium udum and other organisms isolated was studied. Aspergillus niger and A. terreus secreted inhibitory substances in potato-dextrose broth: Bacillus subtilis inhibited growth on solid medium and also produced a toxic substance in potato-dextrose broth. The nature of the medium employed and period of growth were important factors in the production of the inhibitory principle, which is thermostable. The low incidence of pigeon-pea wilt in unsterilized soils may result from the inhibitory activity of the associated microflora in the soil.  相似文献
