The complex (C5D5)2Yb(dme) (dme = 1,2- dimethoxyethane) has been prepared by reaction of Tl(C5D5) with ytterbium metal in dme and is isostructural with (C5H5)2Yb(dme). Thermal desolvation under vacuum yields (C5D5)2Yb, for which essentially identical high resolution neutron powder diffraction data were obtained at 294 K and 77 K, but the structure could not be determined.  相似文献

Rhabditis (Oscheius) pheropsophi n. sp., associated with cadavers of the bombardier beetle, Pheropsophus aequinoctialis, is described from material collected in Brazil. Mean body length of the female is 1,217 μm, of the male 872 μm, and of the dauer juvenile 568 μm. The female has six lips with one papilla on each lateral lip and two on each sublateral lip; stoma wall thickened dorsally, metarhabdions with warts, excretory pore near base of esophagus, tail long (c = 8), and phasmids prominent, protruding on scanning electron microscope preparations. The male has 10 pairs of bursal ribs, with the terminal pair considerably smaller than the others; spicules fused distally two-thirds of their length. The new species can be distinguished from other members of the Dolichura-group by its fused spicules.  相似文献

Rhabdosciadium urusakii E. Akal?n sp. nov. (Apiaceae) is described and illustrated. It occurs very locally on scree slopes in Kemaliye (Erzincan), east Anatolia. This slender species is closely related to R. aucheri (Iran) and R. oligocarpum (south Anatolia). It is a very rare and critically endangered species. A key to all Rhabdosciadium species is given in this paper. The new species is characterized by dichotomous branched, long petiolate, pinnate and linear leaves, ovate‐lanceolate bracts, a brownish band and hairs on the dorsal side of the petals.  相似文献

The conformation of chromatographically pure block oligopeptides (L -lysyl)m-(L -alanyl)n- L -tyrosyl-(L -alanyl)n-(L -lysyl)m with n = 3 and m = 6 or 3 is investigated. By circular dichroism it is shown that these peptides may exhibit a partially α-helical structure depending upon pH, ionic strength, solvent, and temprerature. An attempt is made to describe the helical content of these small peptides by utilizing the data obtained on high-molecular-weight poly(L -lysine). By measurement of the quantum yield and the decays of the peptides fluorescence, it is shown that, in aqueous solution, at neutral pH, the fluorescence of the peptides is quenched by interactions with the peptide carbonyl groups. The decays are multiexponential, which shows the presence of several conformations of the phenolic chromophore relative to the peptide chain. The addition of methanol, which induced the helix formation, decreases the quenching of the fluorescence and the multiexponential character of the decays. In presence of sodium hydroxide, which further increases the helical content of the peptides, a dynamic quenching occured that can be attributed to interactions between the phenol hydroxyl group of tyrosine (ith residue) and the ε-amino groups of the (i+4)th and (i -4)th lysyl residues.  相似文献

Model peptides containing one aromatic residue were synthesized and characterized in order to investigate their interactions with polynucleotides. Chromatographically pure block oligopeptides (L -alysyl)m-(L -alanyl)n- L -tyrosyl- (L -alanyl)n, with n = 3 and m=3 or 6, were prepared by fragments condensation using the mixed anhydride method. The protected fragments were prepared by stepwise addition of amino acid residues through the dicyclohexylcarbodiimide method. The purity of the intermediate coupling product was analyzed by gradient elution chromotography on carboxylmethylcellulose. Both block oligopeptides were isolated by preparative chromatography on carboxymethylcellulose. The different features of these syntheses are discussed.  相似文献

Flowering and pollination biology ofChloranthus serratusandChloranthusfortuneiwere studied. Flowering took place from early Marchto mid–April inCh. fortunei, and from April to September, the whole growth period, inCh. serratus. The flowering periodof an inflorescence ofCh. serratusaveraged about 8 d and anthesisof a single flower was 5–6 d. Flowers are slightly protogynous. The flower emitted fragrance when the androecium became white. Both species are entomophilous with thrips as exclusive pollinators.Under natural conditions, fruit set occurs mainly as a resultof cross-pollination, but self-pollination and agamospermy mayoccur in some cases. In flowers ofCh. fortuneiandCh. serratus, theincurved androecium, the carpel and the spike axis form a nearlyclosed chamber that contains the anthers and stigma. The developmentof a floral-axial chamber may be an important step towards amore economical and effective pollination system. Floral morphology, pollination biology and fossil evidence suggest that the mainevolutionary trend in the genusChloranthusis towards developmentof ‘closed’ flowers. The fidelity of the relationshipbetweenChloranthusand thrips is regarded as a specialized featureof pollination biology and this relationship may have originatedearly in the evolutionary lineage.Copyright 1999 Annals of BotanyCompany Chloranthaceae,Chloranthus, Thysanoptera, flowering, floral-axial chamber, pollination, evolution trends.  相似文献

The nematode Drilomermis leioderma n. gen., n. sp. (Merrnithidae) is described from larvae of Cybister fimbriolatus (Say) (Dytiscidae: Coleoptera) in Louisiana. Diagnostic characters of the genus Drilomermis are: medium-sized nematodes with the cuticle appearing smooth (lacking cross fibers) under the light microscope, six cephalic papillae, without mouth papillae, six hypodermal cords at midbody, 2 extremely long spicules (longer than 10 times body width at anus) which are separate and parallel (not twisted), an S-shaped vagina, medium-sized amphids located near head papillae, and postparasitic juvenile with a tail appendage. D. leioderma possesses a ventrally displaced mouth, very long vagina, and male genital papillae arranged in 3 double rows in the vicinity of the cloacal opening. Even when containing multiple parasites, about 40% of the hosts sulwived emergence of the memithids and lived several more days. In nature, some of these hosts may be able to continue their development, which is unusual since most mermithid-parasitized hosts die soon after the nematode emerges.  相似文献

ABSTRACT. The morphological characteristics of two new species of Isospora observed in Emberiza cirlus (Cirl Bunting) from Italy are reported. the oocysts of Isospora normanlevinei n. sp. are spherical or sub-spherical, with a smooth double-layered wall, and measure 24.2 times 23.7 (21.0-26.5 times 21.5-25.5) μm; each oocyst contains 2 to 10 polar granules. No micropyle or residuum was observed. the piriform sporocysts measure 19.4 times 11.2 (17.0-21.0 times 10.0-12.5) μm and contain a dispersed residuum. the Stieda body is flat; the substiedal body, with scattered clear and dark granules, may be either symmetrical or asymmetrical. the oocysts of I. coluzzii n. sp. are asymmetrical and rounded shape and measure 28.6 times 24.2 (25.0-31.5 times 21.5-26.0) μm. the oocyst has a double-layered wall and 2 to 3 polar granules. Neither micropyle nor residuum is present. the sub-ellipsoidal sporocyst, measuring 18.2 times 10.0(16.5-20.0 times 9.0-11.0) μm, has a dispersed sporocyst residuum. the Stieda complex is symmetrical.  相似文献
