The development of high‐performance oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalysts derived from non‐Pt group metals (non‐PGMs) is urgent for the wide applications of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). In this work, a facile and cost‐efficient supramolecular route is developed for making non‐PGM ORR catalyst with atomically dispersed Fe‐Nx/C sites through pyrolyzing the metal‐organic polymer coordinative hydrogel formed between Fe3+ and α‐L‐guluronate blocks of sodium alginate (SA). High‐angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy (HAADF‐STEM) and X‐ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) verify that Fe atoms achieve atomic‐level dispersion on the obtained SA‐Fe‐N nanosheets and a possible fourfold coordination with N atoms. The best‐performing SA‐Fe‐N catalyst exhibits excellent ORR activity with half‐wave potential (E1/2) of 0.812 and 0.910 V versus the reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE) in 0.5 m H2SO4 and 0.1 m KOH, respectively, along with respectable durability. Such performance surpasses that of most reported non‐PGM ORR catalysts. Density functional theory calculations suggest that the relieved passivation effect of OH* on Fe‐N4/C structure leads to its superior ORR activity to Pt/C in alkaline solution. The work demonstrates a novel strategy for developing high‐performance non‐PGM ORR electrocatalysts with atomically dispersed and stable M‐Nx coordination sites in both acidic and alkaline media.  相似文献

Transition metal atoms with corresponding nitrogen coordination are widely proposed as catalytic centers for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in metal–nitrogen–carbon (M–N–C) catalysts. Here, an effective strategy that can tailor Fe–N–C catalysts to simultaneously enrich the number of active sites while boosting their intrinsic activity and utilization is reported. This is achieved by edge engineering of FeN4 sites via a simple ammonium chloride salt‐assisted approach, where a high fraction of FeN4 sites are preferentially generated and hosted in a graphene‐like porous scaffold. Theoretical calculations reveal that the FeN4 moieties with adjacent pore defects are likely to be more active than the nondefective configuration. Coupled with the facilitated accessibility of active sites, this prepared catalyst, when applied in a practical H2–air proton exchange membrane fuel cell, delivers a remarkable peak power density of 0.43 W cm?2, ranking it as one of the most active M–N–C catalysts reported to date. This work provides a new avenue for boosting ORR activity by edge manipulation of FeN4 sites.  相似文献

The increasing demand for portable and wearable electronics requires lightweight, thin, and highly flexible power sources, for example, flexible zinc‐air batteries (ZABs). The so‐far reported flexible ZAB devices mostly remain bulky, with a design consisting of two relatively thick substrates (e.g., carbon cloths and/or metal foams) and a gel electrolyte‐coated separator in between. Herein, an ultrathin (≈0.2 mm) solid‐state ZAB with high flexibility and performance is introduced by directly forming self‐standing active layers on each surface of an alkaline polymer membrane through an ink‐casting/hot‐pressing approach. A Fe/N‐doped 3D carbon with hierarchic pores and an interconnected network structure is used as cathode electrocatalyst, so that the backing gas‐diffusion layer (e.g., carbon cloth) can be abandoned. What is further, a microstructure‐modulating method to significantly increase the FeN4 active sites for oxygen reduction reaction is developed, thus significantly boosting the performance of the ZAB. The assembled solid‐state ZAB manifests remarkable peak power density of 250 mW cm?3 and high capacity of 150.4 mAh cm?3 at 8.3 mA cm?3, as well as excellent flexibility. The new design should provide valuable opportunity to the portable and wearable electronics.  相似文献

Nonprecious metal catalysts (NPMCs) Fe?N?C are promising alternatives to noble metal Pt as the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalysts for proton‐exchange‐membrane fuel cells. Herein, a new modulation strategy is reported to the active moiety Fe?N4 via a precise “single‐atom to single‐atom” grafting of a Pt atom onto the Fe center through a bridging oxygen molecule, creating a new active moiety of Pt1?O2?Fe1?N4. The modulated Fe?N?C exhibits remarkably improved ORR stabilities in acidic media. Moreover, it shows unexpectedly high catalytic activities toward oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), with overpotentials of 310 mV for OER in alkaline solution and 60 mV for HER in acidic media at a current density of 10 mA cm?2, outperforming the benchmark RuO2 and comparable with Pt/C(20%), respectively. The enhanced multifunctional electrocatalytic properties are associated with the newly constructed active moiety Pt1?O2?Fe1?N4, which protects Fe sites from harmful species. Density functional theory calculations reveal the synergy in the new active moiety, which promotes the proton adsorption and reduction kinetics. In addition, the grafted Pt1?O2? dangling bonds may boost the OER activity. This study paves a new way to improve and extend NPMCs electrocatalytic properties through a precisely single‐atom to single‐atom grafting strategy.  相似文献

A metalorganic gaseous doping approach for constructing nitrogen‐doped carbon polyhedron catalysts embedded with single Fe atoms is reported. The resulting catalysts are characterized using scanning transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and X‐ray absorption spectroscopy; for the optimal sample, calculated densities of Fe–Nx sites and active N sites reach 1.75812 × 1013 and 1.93693 × 1014 sites cm‐2, respectively. Its oxygen reduction reaction half‐wave potential (0.864 V) is 50 mV higher than that of 20 wt% Pt/C catalyst in an alkaline medium and comparable to the latter (0.78 V vs 0.84 V) in an acidic medium, along with outstanding durability. More importantly, when used as a hydrogen–oxygen polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) cathode catalyst with a catalyst loading as low as 1 mg cm‐2 (compared with a conventional loading of 4 mg cm‐2), it exhibits a current density of 1100 mA cm‐2 at 0.6 V and 637 mA cm‐2 at 0.7 V, with a power density of 775 mW cm‐2, or 0.775 kW g–1 of catalyst. In a hydrogen–air PEMFC, current density reaches 650 mA cm‐2 at 0.6 V and 350 mA cm‐2 at 0.7 V, and the maximum power density is 463 mW cm‐2, which makes it a promising candidate for cathode catalyst toward high‐performance PEMFCs.  相似文献

Sulfur represents one of the most promising cathode materials for next‐generation batteries; however, the widely observed polysulfide dissolution/shuttling phenomenon in metal–sulfur redox chemistries has severely restricted their applications. Here it is demonstrated that when pairing the sulfur electrode with the iron metal anode, the inherent insolubility of iron sulfides renders the shuttling‐free nature of the Fe–S electrochemical reactions. Consequently, the sulfur electrode exhibits promising performance for Fe2+ storage, where a high capacity of ≈1050 mAh g?1, low polarization of ≈0.16 V as well as stable cycling of 150 cycles are realized. The Fe–S redox mechanism is further revealed as an intriguing stepwise conversion of S8 ? FeS2 ? Fe3S4 ? FeS, where a low volume expansion of ≈32.6% and all‐solid‐state phase transitions facilitate the reaction reversibility. This study suggests an alternative direction to exploit sulfur electrodes in rechargeable transition metal–sulfur batteries.  相似文献

Rational design and construction of a multifunctional electrocatalyst featuring with high efficiency and low cost is fundamentally important to realize new energy technologies. Herein, a trifunctional electrocatalyst composed of FePx nanoparticles and Fe–N–C moiety supported on the N‐, P‐codoped carbon (NPC) is masterly synthesized by a facile one‐pot pyrolysis of the mixture of tannic acid, ferrous chloride, and sodium hydrogen phosphate. The synergy of each component in the FePx/Fe–N–C/NPC catalyst renders high catalytic activities and excellent durability toward both oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), oxygen evolution reaction (OER), and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The electrocatalytic performance and practicability of the robust FePx/Fe–N–C/NPC catalyst are further investigated under the practical operation conditions. Particularly, the overall water splitting cell assembled by the FePx/Fe–N–C/NPC catalyst only requires a voltage of 1.58 V to output the benchmark current density of 10 mA cm?2, which is superior to that of IrO2–Pt/C‐based cell. Moreover, the FePx/Fe–N–C/NPC‐based zinc–air batteries deliver high round‐trip efficiency and remarkable cycling stability, much better than that of Pt/C–IrO2 pair‐based batteries. This work offers a new strategy to design and synthesize highly effective multifunctional electrocatalysts using cheaper tannic acid derived carbon as support applied in electrochemical energy devices.  相似文献

Practical applications of room temperature sodium–sulfur batteries are still inhibited by the poor conductivity and slow reaction kinetics of sulfur, and dissolution of intermediate polysulfides in the commonly used electrolytes. To address these issues, starting from a novel 3D Zn‐based metal–organic framework with 2,5‐thiophenedicarboxylic acid and 1,4‐bis(pyrid‐4‐yl) benzene as ligands, a S, N‐doped porous carbon host with 3D tubular holes for sulfur storage is fabricated. In contrast to the commonly used melt‐diffusion method to confine sulfur physically, a vapor‐infiltration method is utilized to achieve sulfur/carbon composite with covalent bonds, which can join electrochemical reaction without low voltage activation. A polydopamine derived N‐doped carbon layer is further coated on the composite to confine the high‐temperature‐induced gas‐phase sulfur inside the host. S and N dopants increase the polarity of the carbon host to restrict diffusion of sulfur, and its 3D porous structure provides a large storage area for sulfur. As a result, the obtained composite shows outstanding electrochemical performance with 467 mAh g?1 (1262 mAh g?1(sulfur)) at 0.1 A g?1, 270 mAh g?1 (730 mAh g?1(sulfur)) after 1000 cycles at 1 A g?1 and 201 mAh g?1 (543 mAh g?1(sulfur)) at 5.0 A g?1.  相似文献

Despite great progress in aluminum ion batteries (AIBs), the commercialization and performance improvement of AIBs‐based carbon cathodes is greatly impeded by sluggish intercalation/extraction and redox kinetics due to large‐sized AlCl4? anions. Phosphates with tunnel channels and much larger d‐spacing than the radius of Al3+ could be an alternative candidate as a cathode for potential high‐performance AIBs. Herein, elaborately designed porous tunnel structured Co3(PO4)2@C composites derived from ZIF‐67 as AIBs cathodes are demonstrated, showing increased active sites, high ionic mobility, and high Al3+ ion diffusion coefficient, leading to remarkably enhanced discharge–charge redox reaction kinetics. Furthermore, the carbon shell and porous structure performs as armor to alleviate volume change and maintain the structure integrity of the cathodes. As expected, the rationally constructed Co3(PO4)2@C composite exhibits a superior capacity of 111 mA h g?1 at a high current density of 6 A g?1 and 151 mA h g?1 at 2 A g?1 after 500 cycles with capacity decay of 0.02% per cycle. This innovative strategy could be a big step forward for long‐term cycle stable AIBs and reveals significant insights into the redox reaction mechanism for high‐performance AIBs based on Al3+ rather than large‐sized AlCl4?.  相似文献

Synthesis of highly efficient nonprecious metal electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) superior to platinum (Pt) is still a big challenge. Herein, a new highly active ORR electrocatalyst is reported based on graphene layers‐wrapped Fe/Fe5C2 nanoparticles supported on N‐doped graphene nanosheets (GL‐Fe/Fe5C2/NG) through simply annealing a mixture of bulk graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) and ferrocene. An interesting exfoliation–denitrogen mechanism underlying the conversion of bulk g‐C3N4 into N‐doped graphene nanosheets is revealed. Owing to the high graphitic degree, optimum N‐doping level and sufficient active sites from the graphene layers‐wrapped Fe/Fe5C2 nanoparticles, the as‐prepared GL‐Fe/Fe5C2/NG electrocatalyst obtained at 800 °C exhibits outstanding ORR activity with a 20 mV more positive half‐wave potential than the commercial Pt/C catalyst in 0.1 m KOH solution and a comparable onset potential of 0.98 V. This makes GL‐Fe/Fe5C2/NG an outstanding electrocatalyst for ORR in alkaline solution.  相似文献

Inhibiting the shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides and accelerating their conversion kinetics are crucial for the development of high‐performance lithium–sulfur (Li–S) batteries. Herein, a modified template method is proposed to synthesize the robust yolk–shell sulfur host that is constructed by enveloping dispersive Fe2O3 nanoparticles within Mn3O4 nanosheet‐grafted hollow N‐doped porous carbon capsules (Fe2O3@N‐PC/Mn3O4‐S). When applied as a cathode for Li–S batteries, the as‐prepared Fe2O3@N‐PC/Mn3O4‐S can deliver capacities as high as 1122 mAh g?1 after 200 cycles at 0.5 C and 639 mAh g?1 after 1500 cycles at 10 C, respectively. Remarkably, even as the areal sulfur loading is increased to 5.1 mg cm?2, the cathode can still maintain a high areal specific capacity of 5.08 mAh cm?2 with a fading rate of only 0.076% per cycle over 100 cycles at 0.1 C. By a further combination analysis of electron holography and electron energy loss spectroscopy, the outstanding performance is revealed to be mainly traced to the oxygen‐vacancy‐induced interfacial charge field, which immobilizes and catalyzes the conversion of lithium polysulfides, assuring low polarization, fleet redox reaction kinetics, and sufficient utilization of sulfur. These new findings may shed light on the dependence of electrochemical performance on the heterostructure of sulfur hosts.  相似文献

The relatively low capacity and capacity fade of spinel LiMn2O4 (LMO) limit its application as a cathode material for lithium‐ion batteries. Extending the potential window of LMO below 3 V to access double capacity would be fantastic but hard to be realized, as it will lead to fast capacity loss due to the serious Jahn–Teller distortion. Here using experiments combined with extensive ab initio calculations, it is proved that there is a cooperative effect among individual Jahn–Teller distortions of Mn3+O6 octahedrons in LMO, named as cooperative Jahn–Teller distortion (CJTD) in the text, which is the difficulty to access the capacity beyond one lithium intercalation. It is further proposed that the cationic disordering (excess Li at Mn sites and Li/Mn exchange) can intrinsically suppress the CJTD of Mn3+O6 octahedrons. The cationic disordering can break the symmetry of Mn3+ arrangements to disrupt the correlation of distortions arising from individual JT centers and prevent the Mn3+? O bonds distorting along one direction. Interestingly, with the suppressed CJTD, the original octahedral vacancies in spinel LMO are activated and can serve as extra Li‐ion storage sites to access the double capacity with good reversible cycling stability in microsized LMO.  相似文献

Ternary NiCoFe‐layered double hydroxide (NiCoIIIFe‐LDH) with Co3+ is grafted on nitrogen‐doped graphene oxide (N‐GO) by an in situ growth route. The array‐like colloid composite of NiCoIIIFe‐LDH/N‐GO is used as a bifunctional catalyst for both oxygen evolution/reduction reactions (OER/ORR). The NiCoIIIFe‐LDH/N‐GO array has a 3D open structure with less stacking of LDHs and an enlarged specific surface area. The hierarchical structure design and novel material chemistry endow high activity propelling O2 redox. By exposing more amounts of Ni and Fe active sites, the NiCoIIIFe‐LDH/N‐GO illustrates a relatively low onset potential (1.41 V vs reversible hydrogen electrode) in 0.1 mol L?1 KOH solution under the OER process. Furthermore, by introducing high valence Co3+, the onset potential of this material in ORR is 0.88 V. The overvoltage difference is 0.769 V between OER and ORR. The key factors for the excellent bifunctional catalytic performance are believed to be the Co with a high valence, the N‐doping of graphene materials, and the highly exposed Ni and Fe active sites in the array‐like colloid composite. This work further demonstrates the possibility to exploit the application potential of LDHs as OER and ORR bifunctional electrochemical catalysts.  相似文献

Rational construction of atomic‐scale interfaces in multiphase nanocomposites is an intriguing and challenging approach to developing advanced catalysts for both oxygen reduction (ORR) and evolution reactions (OER). Herein, a hybrid of interpenetrating metallic Co and spinel Co3O4 “Janus” nanoparticles stitched in porous graphitized shells (Co/Co3O4@PGS) is synthesized via ionic exchange and redox between Co2+ and 2D metal–organic‐framework nanosheets. This strategy is proven to effectively establish highways for the transfer of electrons and reactants within the hybrid through interfacial engineering. Specifically, the phase interpenetration of mixed Co species and encapsulating porous graphitized shells provides an optimal charge/mass transport environment. Furthermore, the defect‐rich interfaces act as atomic‐traps to achieve exceptional adsorption capability for oxygen reactants. Finally, robust coupling between Co and N through intimate covalent bonds prohibits the detachment of nanoparticles. As a result, Co/Co3O4@PGS outperforms state‐of‐the‐art noble‐metal catalysts with a positive half‐wave potential of 0.89 V for ORR and a low potential of 1.58 V at 10 mA cm?2 for OER. In a practical demonstration, ultrastable cyclability with a record lifetime of over 800 h at 10 mA cm?2 is achieved by Zn–air batteries with Co/Co3O4@PGS within the rechargeable air electrode.  相似文献

Hybrid nanostructures containing 1D carbon nanotubes and 2D graphene sheets have many promising applications due to their unique physical and chemical properties. In this study, the authors find Prussian blue (dehydrated sodium ferrocyanide) can be converted to N‐doped graphene–carbon nanotube hybrid materials through a simple one‐step pyrolysis process. Through field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, Raman spectra, atomic force microscopy, and isothermal analyses, the authors identify that 2D graphene and 1D carbon nanotubes are bonded seamlessly during the growth stage. When used as the sulfur scaffold for lithium–sulfur batteries, it demonstrates outstanding electrochemical performance, including a high reversible capacity (1221 mA h g?1 at 0.2 C rate), excellent rate capability (458 and 220 mA h g?1 at 5 and 10 C rates, respectively), and excellent cycling stability (321 and 164 mA h g?1 at 5 and 10 C (1 C = 1673 mA g?1) after 1000 cycles). The enhancement of electrochemical performance can be attributed to the 3D architecture of the hybrid material, in which, additionally, the nitrogen doping generates defects and active sites for improved interfacial adsorption. Furthermore, the nitrogen doping enables the effective trapping of lithium polysulfides on electroactive sites within the cathode, leading to a much‐improved cycling performance. Therefore, the hybrid material functions as a redox shuttle to catenate and bind polysulfides, and convert them to insoluble lithium sulfide during reduction. The strategy reported in this paper could open a new avenue for low cost synthesis of N‐doped graphene–carbon nanotube hybrid materials for high performance lithium–sulfur batteries.  相似文献

An easy and effective strategy for synthesizing a ratiometric fluorescent nanosensor has been demonstrated in this work. Novel fluorescent BSA–AuNPs@Tb–AMP (BSA, bovine serum albumin; AMP, adenosine 5′‐monophosphate; AuNPs, Au nanoparticles) metal–organic framework (MOF) nanostructures were synthesized by encapsulating BSA–AuNPs into Tb–AMP MOFs for the detection of 2,6‐pyridinedicarboxylic acid (DPA) and Hg2+. DPA could strongly co‐ordinate with Tb3+ to replace water molecules from the Tb3+ center and accordingly enhanced the fluorescence of Tb–AMP MOFs. The fluorescence of BSA–AuNPs at 405 nm remained constant. While the fluorescence of BSA–AuNPs at 635 nm was quenched after Hg2+ was added, the fluorescence of Tb–AMP MOFs remained constant. Accordingly, a ratiometric fluorescence nanosensor was constructed for detection of DPA and Hg2+. The ratiometric nanosensor exhibited good selectivity to DPA over other substances. The F545/F405 linearly increased with increase of DPA concentration in the range of 50 nM to 10 μM with a detection limit as low as 17.4 nM. F635/F405 increased linearly with increase of Hg2+ concentration ranging from 50 nM to 1 μM with a detection limit as low as 20.9 nM. Additionally, the nanosensor could be successfully applied for the determination of DPA and Hg2+ in running water.  相似文献

Two complexes of Tb3+, Gd3+/Tb3+ and one heteronuclear crystal Gd3+/Tb3+ with phenoxyacetic acid (HPOA) and 2,4,6‐tris‐(2‐pyridyl)‐s–triazine (TPTZ) have been synthesized. Elemental analysis, rare earth coordination titration, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP‐AES) and thermogravimetric analysis‐differential scanning calorimetry (TG‐DSC) analysis show that the two complexes are Tb2(POA)6(TPTZ)2·6H2O and TbGd(POA)6(TPTZ)2·6H2O, respectively. The crystal structure of TbGd(POA)6(TPTZ)2·2CH3OH was determined using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The monocrystal belongs to the triclinic system with the P‐1 space group. In particular, each metal ion is coordinately bonded to three nitrogen atoms of one TPTZ and seven oxygen atoms of three phenoxyacetic ions. Furthermore, there exist two coordinate forms between C6H5OCH2COO and the metal ions in the crystal. One is a chelating bidentate, the other is chelating and bridge coordinating. Fluorescence determination shows that the two complexes possess strong fluorescence emissions. Furthermore, the fluorescence intensity of the Gd3+/Tb3+ complex is much stronger than that of the undoped complex, which may result from a decrease in the concentration quench of Tb3+ ions, and intramolecular energy transfer from the ligands coordinated with Gd3+ ions to Tb3+ ions. Lithium–sulfur batteries are a promising high energy output solution for substitution of traditional lithium ion batteries. In recent times research in this field has stepped into the exploration of practical applications. However, their applications are impeded by cycling stability and short life‐span mainly due to the notorious polysulfide shuttle effect. In this work, a multifunctional sulfur host fabricated by grafting highly conductive Co3Se4 nanoparticles onto the surface of an N‐doped 3D carbon matrix to inhibit the polysulfide shuttle and improve the sulfur utilization is proposed. By regulating the carbon matrix and the Co3Se4 distribution, N‐CN‐750@Co3Se4‐0.1 m with abundant polar sites is experimentally and theoretically shown to be a good LiPSs absorbent and a sulfur conversion accelerator. The S/N‐CN‐750@Co3Se4‐0.1 m cathode shows excellent sulfur utilization, rate performance, and cyclic durability. A prolonged cycling test of the as‐fabricated S/N‐CN‐750@Co3Se4‐0.1 m cathode is carried out at 0.2 C for more than 5 months which delivers a high initial capacity of 1150.3 mAh g?1 and retains 531.0 mAh g?1 after 800 cycles with an ultralow capacity reduction of 0.067% per cycle, maintaining Coulombic efficiency of more than 99.3%. The reaction details are characterized and analyzed by ex situ measurements. This work highly emphasizes the potential capabilities of transition‐metal selenides in lithium–sulfur batteries.  相似文献

A unique 3D hybrid sponge with chemically coupled nickel disulfide‐reduced graphene oxide (NiS2‐RGO) framework is rationally developed as an effective polysulfide reservoir through a biomolecule‐assisted self‐assembly synthesis. An optimized amount of NiS2 (≈18 wt%) with porous nanoflower‐like morphology is uniformly in situ grown on the RGO substrate, providing abundant active sites to adsorb and localize polysulfides. The improved polysulfide adsorptivity from sulfiphilic NiS2 is confirmed by experimental data and first‐principle calculations. Moreover, due to the chemical coupling between NiS2 and RGO formed during the in situ synthesis, the conductive RGO substrate offers a 3D electron pathway to facilitate charge transfer toward the NiS2‐polysulfide adsorption interface, triggering a fast redox kinetics of polysulfide conversion and excellent rate performance (C/20–4C). Therefore, the self‐assembled hybrid structure simultaneously promotes static polysulfide‐trapping capability and dynamic polysulfide‐conversion reversibility. As a result, the 3D porous sponge enables a high sulfur content (75 wt%) and a remarkably high sulfur loading (up to 21 mg cm?2) and areal capacity (up to 16 mAh cm?2), exceeding most of the reported values in the literature involving either RGO or metal sulfides/other metal compounds (sulfur content of <60 wt% and sulfur loading of <3 mg cm?2).  相似文献

With high theoretical energy density, rechargeable metal–gas batteries (e.g., Li–CO2 battery) are considered as one of the most promising energy storage devices. However, their practical applications are hindered by the sluggish reaction kinetics and discharge product accumulation during battery cycling. Currently, the solutions focus on exploration of new catalysts while the thorough understanding of their underlying mechanisms is often ignored. Herein, the interfacial electronic interaction within rationally designed catalysts, ZnS quantum dots/nitrogen‐doped reduced graphene oxide (ZnS QDs/N‐rGO) heterostructures, and their effects on transformation and deposition of discharge products in the Li–CO2 battery are revealed. In this work, the interfacial interaction can both enhance the catalytic activities of ZnS QDs/N‐rGO heterostructures and induce the nucleation of discharge products to form a homogeneous Li2CO3/C film with excellent electronic transmission and high electrochemical activities. When the batteries cycle within a cutoff specific capacity of 1000 mAh g?1 at a current density of 400 mA g?1, the cycling performance of the Li–CO2 battery using a ZnS QDs/N‐rGO cathode is over 3 and 9 times than those coupled with a ZnS nanosheets (NST)/N‐rGO cathode and a N‐rGO cathode, respectively. This work provides comprehensive understandings on designing catalysts for Li–CO2 batteries as well as other rechargeable metal–gas batteries.  相似文献
