Regulating the chemical/physical features of solution processed metal halide perovskite films by integrating sub‐10 nm nanocrystals is a highly promising strategy to advance their outstanding optoelectronic performance. However, significant challenges remain for the universal embedding of the well‐defined nanocrystals in the film matrix. By generating nanocrystals in desired solvents via pulsed laser irradiation in liquid, the authors demonstrate the effective decoration of sub‐10 nm nanocrystals in perovskite films for enhanced optoelectronic performance. It is believed that this improved performance is due to the modification of the widely adopted “antisolvent” to a novel “anti‐colloidal‐solution” (ACS). Exemplified by a typical ACS; carbon dots in chlorobenzene, its encouraging superiority in regulating, not only the films morphology, but also the electronic structure, is demonstrated. This results in perovskite solar cells with a champion efficiency of 21.41% as well as a pronounced stability over 5000 h in relative humidity of 40%. The capability of nanocrystal embedding for boosted photovoltaic performance is further exploited by employing other laser generated ACSs. Such a strategy may open up a route to regulating hybrid perovskite film performance via nanocrystal embedding for photovoltaics or even beyond optoelectronic applications.  相似文献

A crucial issue regarding emerging nanotechnologies remains the up‐scaling of new functional nanostructured materials towards their implementation in high performance applications on a large scale. In this context, we demonstrate high efficiency solid‐state dye‐sensitized solar cells prepared from new porous TiO2 photoanodes based on laser pyrolysis nanocrystals. This strategy exploits a reduced number of processing steps as well as non‐toxic chemical compounds to demonstrate highly porous TiO2 films. The possibility to easily tune the TiO2 nanocrystal physical properties allows us to demonstrate all solid‐state dye‐sensitized devices based on a commercial benchmark materials (organic indoline dye and molecular hole transporter) presenting state‐of‐the‐art performance comparable with reference devices based on a commercial TiO2 paste. In particular, a drastic improvement in pore infiltration, which is found to balance a relatively lower surface area compared to the reference electrode, is evidenced using laser‐synthesized nanocrystals resulting in an improved short‐circuit current density under full sunlight. Transient photovoltage decay measurements suggest that charge recombination kinetics still limit device performance. However, the proposed strategy emphasizes the potentialities of the laser pyrolysis technique for up‐scaling nanoporous TiO2 electrodes for various applications, especially for solar energy conversion.  相似文献

Hole‐transporting materials (HTMs) are essential for enabling highly efficient perovskite solar cells (PVSCs) to extract and transport the hole carriers. Among numerous HTMs that are studied so far, the single‐spiro‐based compounds are the most frequently used HTMs for achieving highly efficient PVSCs. In fact, all the new spiro‐based HTMs reported so far that render PVSCs over 20% are based on spiro[fluorene‐9,9′‐xanthene] or spiro [cyclopenta [2,1‐b:3,4b′]dithiophene‐4,9′‐fluorene] cores; therefore, there is a need to diversify the design of their structures for further improving their function and performance. In addition, the fundamental understanding of structure–performance relationships for the spiro‐based HTMs is still lagging, for example, how molecular configuration, spiro numbers, and heteroatoms in spiro‐rings impact the efficacy of HTMs. To address these needs, two novel H‐shaped HTMs, G1 and G2 based on the di‐spiro‐rings as the cores are designed and synthesized. The combined good film‐forming properties, better interactions with perovskite, slightly deeper highest occupied molecular orbital, higher mobility and conductivity, as well as more efficient charge transfer for G2 help devices reach a very impressive power conversion efficiency of 20.2% and good stability. This is the first report of demonstrating the feasibility of using di‐spiro‐based HTMs for highly efficient PVSCs.  相似文献

Recently, organometal halide perovskite (OMHP)‐based solar cells have been regarded as one of the most promising technologies in the research field of renewable energy applications. Along with successful demonstrations of high power conversion efficiencies (PCEs), various characteristic strategies for fabricating functional OMHP‐based solar cells have been exploited to facilitate both their practical applicability and industrial suitability. As a part of such efforts, unconventional transparent conductive electrodes have been suggested based on the implementation of metal nanowires (MeNWs), which possess both high transparency and low sheet resistance, in order to replace traditional counterparts such as costly, limitedly‐flexible vacuum‐deposited conductive metal oxides. This allows for the facile fabrication of solution‐processable, low‐cost, highly flexible, high‐performance solar cell devices. In this review, the recent progress on OMHP solar cells integrated with MeNW‐network electrodes is investigated and the challenges associated with the integration of MeNW‐network electrodes are comprehensively addressed with the suggestion of possible solutions for resolving the critical issues.  相似文献

Perovskite solar cells have delivered power conversion efficiency beyond 22% in less than seven years, implying the potential for the paradigm shift of low‐cost photovoltaics with high efficiency and low embedded energy. Besides the “perovskite fever,” the development of new hole transport materials (HTM), especially dopant‐free HTMs, is another research hotspot. This is because the currently used HTMs, such as spiro‐OMeTAD derivatives, require additional chemical doping process to ensure sufficient conductivity and proper ionic potential level for efficient hole transport and collection. However, the commonly used dopants are volatile and hygroscopic which not only increase the complexity and cost of device fabrication but also deteriorate the device stability. So far, there have been several reviews on new HTMs, but review or analysis on dopant‐free HTMs is scarce. In this review, all reported dopant‐free HTMs are categorized into four primary different types and lessons will be learned during the separate discussions. The stability test behavior of all the intrinsic HTMs will be evaluated directly. In the end, the correlations between the properties of the intrinsic HTMs and parameters of the devices will be plotted to shed light on the future direction of development of this field.  相似文献

Organic–inorganic halide perovskite (OIHP) solar cells with efficiency over 18% power conversion efficiency (PCE) have been widely achieved with lab scale spin‐coating method which is however not scalable for the fabrication of large area solar panels. The PCEs of OIHP solar cells made by scalable deposition methods, such as doctor‐blading or slot‐die coating, have been lagging far behind than spin‐coated devices. In this study the authors report composition engineering in doctor‐bladed OIHP solar cells with p–i–n planar heterojunction structure to enhance their efficiency. Phase purer OIHP thin films are obtained by incorporating a small amount of cesium (Cs+) and bromine (Br?) ions into perovskite precursor solution, which also reduces the required film formation temperature. Pinhole free OIHP thin films with micrometer‐sized grains have been obtained assisted by a secondary grain growth with added methylammonium chloride into the precursor solution. The OIHP solar cells using these bladed thin films achieved PCEs over 19.0%, with the best stabilized PCE reaching 19.3%. This represents a significant step toward scalable manufacture of OIHP solar cells.  相似文献

To date, the most efficient perovskite solar cells (PSCs) employ an n–i–p device architecture that uses a 2,2′,7,7′‐tetrakis(N,N‐di‐p‐methoxyphenyl‐amine)‐9,9′‐spirobifluorene (spiro‐OMeTAD) hole‐transporting material (HTM), which achieves optimum conductivity with the addition of lithium bis(trifluoromethane)sulfonimide (LiTFSI) and air exposure. However, this additive along with its oxidation process leads to poor reproducibility and is detrimental to stability. Herein, a dicationic salt spiro‐OMeTAD(TFSI)2, is employed as an effective p‐dopant to achieve power conversion efficiencies of 19.3% and 18.3% (apertures of 0.16 and 1.00 cm2) with excellent reproducibility in the absence of LiTFSI and air exposure. As far as it is known, these are the highest‐performing n–i–p PSCs without LiTFSI or air exposure. Comprehensive analysis demonstrates that precise control of the proportion of [spiro‐OMeTAD]+ directly provides high conductivity in HTM films with low series resistance, fast hole extraction, and lower interfacial charge recombination. Moreover, the spiro‐OMeTAD(TFSI)2‐doped devices show improved stability, benefitting from well‐retained HTM morphology without forming aggregates or voids when tested under an ambient atmosphere. A facile approach is presented to fabricate highly efficient PSCs by replacing LiTFSI with spiro‐OMeTAD(TFSI)2. Furthermore, this study provides an insight into the relationship between device performance and the HTM doping level.  相似文献

Despite the recent unprecedented development of efficient dopant‐free hole transporting materials (HTMs) for high‐performance perovskite solar cells (PSCs) on small‐area devices (≤0.1 cm2), low‐cost dopant‐free HTMs for large‐area PSCs (≥1 cm2) with high power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) have rarely been reported. Herein, two novel HTMs, 3,3′,6,6′ (or 2,2′,7,7′)‐tetrakis(N,N′‐di‐p‐methoxyphenylamine)‐N,N′‐bicarbazole (3,6 BCz‐OMeTAD or 2,7 BCz‐OMeTAD), are synthesized via an extremely simple route from very cheap raw materials. Owing to their excellent film‐forming abilities and matching energy levels, 3,6 BCz‐OMeTAD and 2,7 BCz‐OMeTAD can be successfully employed as a perfect ultrathin (≈30 nm) hole transporting layer in large‐area PSCs up to 1 cm2. The 3,6 BCz‐OMeTAD and 2,7 BCz‐OMeTAD based large‐area PSCs show highest PCEs up to 17.0% and 17.6%, respectively. More importantly, high performance large‐area PSCs based on 2,7 BCz‐OMeTAD retain 90% of the initial efficiency after 2000 h storage in an ambient environment without encapsulation.  相似文献

Perovskite‐type solid‐state electrolytes exhibit great potential for the development of all‐solid‐state lithium batteries due to their high Li‐ion conductivity (approaching 10?3 S cm?1), wide potential window, and excellent thermal/chemical stability. However, the large solid–solid interfacial resistance between perovskite electrolytes and electrode materials is still a great challenge that hinders the development of high‐performance all‐solid‐state lithium batteries. In this work, a perovskite‐type Li0.34La0.51TiO3 (LLTO) membrane with vertically aligned microchannels is constructed by a phase‐inversion method. The 3D vertically aligned microchannel framework membrane enables more effective Li‐ion transport between the cathode and solid‐state electrolyte than a planar LLTO membrane. A significant decrease in the perovskite/cathode interfacial resistance, from 853 to 133 Ω cm2, is observed. It is also demonstrated that full cells utilizing LLTO with vertically aligned microchannels as the electrolyte exhibit a high specific capacity and improved rate performance.  相似文献

Low‐temperature‐processed perovskite solar cells (PSCs), which can be fabricated on rigid or flexible substrates, are attracting increasing attention because they have a wide range of potential applications. In this study, the stability of reduced graphene oxide and the ability of a poly(triarylamine) underlayer to improve the quality of overlying perovskite films to construct hole‐transport bilayer by means of a low‐temperature method are taken advantage of. The bilayer is used in both flexible and rigid inverted planar PSCs with the following configuration: substrate/indium tin oxide/reduced graphene oxide/polytriarylamine/CH3NH3PbI3/PCBM/bathocuproine/Ag (PCBM = [6,6]‐phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester). The flexible and rigid PSCs show power conversion efficiencies of 15.7 and 17.2%, respectively, for the aperture area of 1.02 cm2. Moreover, the PSC based the bilayer shows outstanding light‐soaking stability, retaining ≈90% of its original efficiency after continuous illumination for 500 h at 100 mW cm?2.  相似文献

Although all‐inorganic perovskite solar cells (PSCs) demonstrate high thermal stability, cesium‐lead halide perovskites with high iodine content suffer from poor stability of the black phase (α‐phase). In this study, it is demonstrated that incorporating InCl3 into the host perovskite lattice helps to inhibit the formation of yellow phase (δ‐phase) perovskite and thereby enhances the long‐term ambient stability. The enhanced stability is achieved by a strategy for the structural reconstruction of CsPbI2Br perovskite by means of In3+ and Cl? codoping, which gives rise to a significant improvement in the overall spatial symmetry with a closely packed atom arrangement due to the crystal structure transformation from orthorhombic (Pnma) to cubic (Pm‐3m). In addition, a novel thermal radiation heating method that further improves the uniformity of the perovskite thin films is presented. This approach enables the construction of all‐inorganic InCl3:CsPbI2Br PSCs with a champion power conversion efficiency of 13.74% for a small‐area device (0.09 cm2) and 11.4% for a large‐area device (1.00 cm2).  相似文献
