In the present work we characterized the ecto-ATP diphosphohydrolase activity of the trypanosomatid parasite Herpetomonas muscarum muscarum. This parasite hydrolyzed ATP at a rate of 15.52 nmol Pi/mg protein/min and this activity reached a maximum at pH 7.5. Classical inhibitors of acid phosphatases, such as sodium orthovanadate (NaVO3), sodium fluoride (NaF), and ammonium molybdate presented no effect on this activity. MgCl2, ZnCl2, and MnCl2 stimulated the ATP hydrolysis by H. m. muscarum. The ecto-ATPase activity was insensitive to oligomycin and sodium azide, two inhibitors of mitochondrial Mg-ATPase, bafilomycin A1, a V-ATPase inhibitor, ouabain, a Na++K+-ATPase inhibitor and to levamizole, an inhibitor of alkaline phosphatase. An extracellular impermeant inhibitor 4,4-diisothiocyanostylbene 2,2-disulfonic acid (DIDS) and a inhibitor of some ecto-ATPases, suramin, which is also a competitive antagonist of P2-purinergic receptors, promoted a great inhibition on the ATP hydrolysis. This enzyme is able to hydrolysis ATP, ADP, UTP, and UDP, but not GTP, GDP, CTP, or CDP. ADP inhibited the enzymatic activity in a concentration dependent manner, reaching 70% inhibition. In the present work we characterized the secreted phosphatase activity of the trypanosomatid parasite Herpetomonas muscarum muscarum. This housefly parasite hydrolyzed p-nitrophenylphosphate at a rate of 10.26 nmol Pi/mg protein/min. Classical inhibitors of acid phosphatases, such as sodium orthovanadate (NaVO3), sodium fluoride (NaF), and ammonium molybdate promoted a decrease in this phosphatase activity. When the parasites were assayed in the presence of sodium tartrate, an inhibitor of Leishmania spp-secreted acid phosphatases, this activity was drastically diminished. Cytochemical analysis showed the localization of this enzyme on the external surface and in the flagellar pocket of these parasites. Sodium tartrate inhibited this reaction, confirming the biochemical data. Platelet-activating factor (PAF) inhibited the phosphatase activity determined in the supernatant of living H. m. muscarum. Herpetomonas muscarum muscarum is a flagellate parasite of the family Trypanosomatidae, whose cell differentiation can be triggered by the lipid mediator, PAF. In this study we demonstrate for the first time that PAF effect relies on the activation of casein kinase 2 (CK2). The classical antagonist of PAF receptor, WEB 2086, abrogated PAF-enhanced CK2 activity. CK2 activation by PAF was also inhibited when parasite extracts were assayed in the presence of modulators of PKC, MAPK, and both Ser/Thr and Tyr phosphatases. Finally, a cell permeable inhibitor of CK2 (DRB) suppressed PAF-induced cell differentiation in a dose-dependent manner.  相似文献

Nucleotides, e.g. ATP and ADP, are important signaling molecules, which elicit several biological responses. The degradation of nucleotides is catalyzed by a family of enzymes called NTPDases (nucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolases). The present study reports the enzymatic properties of a NTPDase (CD39, apyrase, ATP diphosphohydrolase) in brain membranes of zebrafish (Danio rerio). This enzyme was cation-dependent, with a maximal rate for ATP and ADP hydrolysis in a pH range of 7.5-8.0 in the presence of Ca(2+) (5 mM). The enzyme displayed a maximal activity for ATP and ADP hydrolysis at 37 degrees C. It was able to hydrolyze purine and pyrimidine nucleosides 5'-di and triphosphates, being insensitive to classical ATPase inhibitors, such as ouabain (1 mM), N-ethylmaleimide (0.1 mM), orthovanadate (0.1 mM) and sodium azide (0.1 mM). A significant inhibition of ATP and ADP hydrolysis (68% and 34%, respectively) was observed in the presence of 20 mM sodium azide, used as a possible inhibitor of ATP diphosphohydrolase. Levamisole (1 mM) and tetramisole (1 mM), specific inhibitors of alkaline phosphatase and P1, P(5)-di (adenosine 5'-) pentaphosphate, an inhibitor of adenylate kinase did not alter the enzyme activity. The presence of a NTPDase in brain membranes of zebrafish may be important for the modulation of nucleotide and nucleoside levels, controlling their actions on specific purinoceptors in central nervous system of this specie.  相似文献

In the present report the enzymatic properties of an ATP diphosphohydrolase (apyrase, EC 3.6.1.5) in Trichomonas vaginalis were determined. The enzyme hydrolyses purine and pyrimidine nucleoside 5'-di- and 5'-triphosphates in an optimum pH range of 6.0--8.0. It is Ca(2+)-dependent and is insensitive to classical ATPase inhibitors, such as ouabain (1 mM), N-ethylmaleimide (0.1 mM), orthovanadate (0.1 mM) and sodium azide (5 mM). A significant inhibition of ADP hydrolysis (37%) was observed in the presence of 20 mM sodium azide, an inhibitor of ATP diphosphohydrolase. Levamisole, a specific inhibitor of alkaline phosphatase, and P(1), P(5)-di (adenosine 5'-) pentaphosphate, a specific inhibitor of adenylate kinase, did not inhibit the enzyme activity. The enzyme has apparent K(m) (Michaelis Constant) values of 49.2+/-2.8 and 49.9+/-10.4 microM and V(max) (maximum velocity) values of 49.4+/-7.1 and 48.3+/-6.9 nmol of inorganic phosphate x min(-1) x mg of protein(-1) for ATP and ADP, respectively. The parallel behaviour of ATPase and ADPase activities and the competition plot suggest that ATP and ADP hydrolysis occur at the same active site. The presence of an ATP diphosphohydrolase activity in T. vaginalis may be important for the modulation of nucleotide concentration in the extracellular space, protecting the parasite from the cytolytic effects of the nucleotides, mainly ATP.  相似文献

The effects of propranolol (10−3 mM) on the surface anionic groups of Herpetomonas muscarum muscarum were analysed by cell electrophoresis, by ultrastructural cytochemistry and by identification of sialic acids using paper chromatography. Differentiation of H. muscarum muscarum induced by propranolol treatment caused a significant increase in the net negative surface charge. Binding of cationized ferritin (CF) and colloidal iron hydroxide particles was observed at the cell surface of both untreated and propranolol-treated cells. In cells incubated in the presence of the drug the CF particles were distributed in all membrane regions. However, there were small areas where the particles were absent. In H. muscarum muscarum exposed to propranolol the density of residues of sialic acid per cell was higher, and the agglutinating activity with Sendai virus was more intense. However, the pattern of sialic acid, characterized by the presence of N-acetylneuraminic acid derivative, was not modified upon cell interaction with the drug. Treatment of both control and propranolol-treated protozoa with neuraminidase significantly reduced the surface charge. These findings suggest that sialic acid residues are the major anionogenic groups exposed on the surface of H. muscarum muscarum .  相似文献

ADP and adenosine 5'-O-(3-thiotriphosphate) (ATP gamma S) inhibit recA protein promoted ATP hydrolysis by fundamentally different mechanisms. In both cases, at least two modes of inhibition are observed. For ADP, the first mode is competitive inhibition. The second mode is manifested by dissociation of recA protein from DNA. These are readily distinguished in a comparison of ATP hydrolyses that are activated by (a) DNA and (b) high (approximately 2 M) salt concentrations. Competitive inhibition with a significant degree of cooperativity is observed under both sets of conditions, although the DNA-dependent activity is more sensitive to ADP than the high-salt reaction. The reaction in the presence of poly(deoxythymidylic acid) or duplex DNA ceases when about 60% of the available ATP is hydrolyzed, reflecting an ADP-mediated dissociation of recA protein from the DNA that is governed by the ADP/ATP ratio. In contrast, ATP hydrolysis proceeds nearly to completion at high salt concentrations. At high concentrations of ATP and ATP gamma S, ATP gamma S also acts as a competitive inhibitor. At low concentrations of ATP gamma S and ATP, however, ATP gamma S activates ATP hydrolysis. These patterns are observed for recA-mediated ATP hydrolysis with either high salt concentrations or a poly(deoxythymidylic acid) [poly(dT)] cofactor, although the activation is observed at much lower ATP and ATP gamma S concentrations when poly(dT) is used. ATP gamma S can also relieve the inhibitory effect of ADP under some conditions. ATP gamma S and ADP are antagonistic inhibitors, reinforcing the idea that they stabilize different conformations of the protein and suggesting that these conformations are mutually exclusive. The ATP gamma S (ATP) conformation is active in ATP hydrolysis. The ADP conformation is inactive.  相似文献

Human lymphocytes contain NTPDase (NTPDase-1; ecto-apyrase; ecto-diphosphohydrolase; CD39; EC 3.6.1.5), a cation-dependent enzyme that hydrolyzes ATP and ADP and also other di- and triphosphate nucleosides, acting at an optimum pH of 8.0. A significant inhibition of ATP and ADP hydrolysis (P<0.05) was observed in the presence of 20 mM sodium azide. NTPDase inhibitors, 20 mM sodium fluoride, 0.2 mM trifluoperazine and 0.3 mM suramin, significantly decreased ATP and ADP hydrolysis (P<0.05) and ADP hydrolysis was only inhibited by 0.5 mM orthovanadate (P<0.05). ATP and ADP hydrolysis was not inhibited in the presence of 0.01 mM Ap5A (P1,P5-di(adenosine-5')pentaphosphate), 0.1 mM ouabain, 1 mM levamisole, 2 microg/mL oligomycin, 0.1 mM N-ethylmaleimide (NEM), or 5 mM sodium azide. With respect to kinetic behavior, apparent K(m) values of 77.6+/-10.2 and 106.8+/-21.0 microM, and V(max) values of 68.9+/-8.1 and 99.4+/-8.5 (mean+/-S.E., n=3) nmol Pi/min/mg protein were obtained for ATP and ADP, respectively. A Chevilard plot demonstrated that only one enzymatic site is responsible for the hydrolysis of ATP and ADP. The presence of CD39 was determined by flow cytometry, showing a low density of 2.72+/-0.24% (mean+/-S.E.; n=30) in human peripheral lymphocytes. The study of NTPDase activity in human lymphocytes may be important to determine the immune response status against infectious agents related to ATP and ADP hydrolysis.  相似文献

Here we described an nucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase (NTPDase) activity in living trophozoites of Trichomonas gallinae. The enzyme hydrolyzes a variety of purine and pyrimidine nucleoside di- and triphosphates in an optimum pH range of 6.0-8.0. This enzyme activity was activated by high concentrations of divalent cations, such as calcium and magnesium. Contaminant activities were ruled out because the enzyme was not inhibited by classical inhibitors of ATPases (ouabain, 5.0 mM sodium azide, oligomycin) and alkaline phosphatases (levamisole). A significant inhibition of ATP hydrolysis (38%) was observed in the presence of 20 mM sodium azide. Sodium orthovanadate inhibited ATP and ADP hydrolysis (24% and 78%), respectively. The apparent K(M) (Michaelis constant) values were 667.62+/-13 microM for ATP and 125+/-5.3 microM for ADP. V(max) (maximum velocity) values were 0.44+/-0.007 nmol Pi min(-1) per 10(6) trichomonads and 0.91+/-0.12 nmol Pi min(-1) per 10(6) trichomonads for ATP and ADP, respectively. Moreover, we showed a marked decrease in ATP, ADP and AMP hydrolysis when the parasites were grown in the presence of penicillin and streptomycin. The existence of an NTPDase activity in T. gallinae may be involved in pathogenicity, protecting the parasite from the cytolytic effects of the extracellular nucleotides.  相似文献

In this study, we have identified the E-NTPDase family members and ecto-5'-nucleotidase/CD73 in rat heart left ventricle. Moreover, we characterize the biochemical properties and enzyme activities from synaptosomes of the nerve terminal endings of heart left ventricle. We observe divalent cation-dependent enzymes that presented optimum pH of 8.0 for ATP and ADP hydrolysis, and 9.5 for AMP hydrolysis. The apparent K(M) values are 40 microM, 90 microM and 39 microM and apparent V(max) values are 537, 219 and 111 nmol Pi released/min/mg of protein for ATP, ADP and AMP hydrolysis, respectively. Ouabain, orthovanadate, NEM, lanthanum and levamisole do not affect ATP and ADP hydrolysis in rat cardiac synaptosomes. Oligomycin (2 microg/mL) and sodium azide (0.1 mM), both mitochondrial ATPase inhibitors, inhibit only the ATP hydrolysis. High concentrations of sodium azide and gadolinium chloride show an inhibition on both, ATP and ADP hydrolysis. Suramin inhibit more strongly ATP hydrolysis than ADP hydrolysis whereas Evans blue almost abolish both hydrolysis. AMP hydrolysis is not affected by levamisole and tetramisole, whereas 0.1 mM ammonium molybdate practically abolish the ecto-5'-nucleotidase activity. RT-PCR analysis from left ventricle tissue demonstrate different levels of expression of Entpd1 (Cd39), Entpd2 (Cd39L1), Entpd3 (Cd39L3), Entpd5 (Cd39L4) Entpd6, (Cd39L2) and 5'-NT/CD73. By quantitative real-time PCR we identify the Entpd2 as the enzyme with the highest expression in rat left ventricle. Our results contribute to the understanding about the control of the extracellular nucleotide levels in and cardiac system.  相似文献

The degradation of nucleotides is catalyzed by the family of enzymes called nucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolases (NTPDases). The aim of this work was to demonstrate the presence of NTPDase in the rat gastric mucosa. The enzyme was found to hydrolyze ATP and ADP at an optimum pH of 8.0 in the presence of Mg2+ and Ca2+. The inhibitors ouabain (0.01-1 mM), N-ethylmaleimide (0.01-4 mM), levamisole (0.10-0.2 mM) and Ap5A (0.03 mM) had no effect on NTPDase 1 activity. Sodium azide (0.03-30 mM), at high concentrations (>0.1 mM), caused a parallel hydrolysis inhibition of ATP and ADP. Suramin (50-300 microM) inhibited ATP and ADP hydrolysis at all concentrations tested. Orthovanadate slightly inhibited (15%) Mg2+ and Ca2+ ATP/ADPase at 100 microM. Lanthanum decreased Mg2+ and Ca2+ ATP/ADPase activities. The presence of NTPDase as ecto-enzyme in the gastric mucosa may have an important role in the extracellular metabolism of nucleotides, suggesting that this enzyme plays a role in the control of acid and pepsin secretion, mucus production, and contractility of the stomach.  相似文献

The kinetic properties of type-II ATP diphosphohydrolase are described in this work. The enzyme preparation from the inner layer of the bovine aorta, mostly composed of smooth muscle cells, shows an optimum at pH 7.5. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of tri- and diphosphonucleosides and it requires either Ca2+ or Mg2+ for activity. It is insensitive to ouabain (3 mM), an inhibitor of Na+/K(+)-ATPase, to tetramisole (5 mM), an inhibitor of alkaline phosphatase, and to Ap5A (100 microM), an inhibitor of adenylate kinase. In contrast, sodium azide (10 mM), a known inhibitor for ATPDases and mitochondrial ATPase, is an effective inhibitor. Mercuric chloride (10 microM) and 5'-p-fluorosulfonylbenzoyl adenosine are also powerful inhibitors, both with ATP and ADP as substrates. The inhibition patterns are similar for ATP and DP, thereby, supporting the concept of a common catalytic site for these substrates. Apparent Km and Vmax, obtained with ATP as the substrate, were evaluated at 23 +/- 3 microM and 1.09 mumol Pi/min per mg protein, respectively. The kinetic properties of this enzyme and its localization as an ectoenzyme on bovine aorta smooth muscle cells suggest that it may play a major role in regulating the relative concentrations of extracellular nucleotides in blood vessels.  相似文献

ABSTRACT. The products and pathways of glucose catabolism in the insect trypanosomatids Herpetomonas muscarum ingenoplastis and Herpetomonas muscarum muscarum have been studied with the aim of elucidating how both organisms are able to proliferate well under aerobic and anaerobic conditions. When incubated in medium containing glucose as the only exogenous carbon source, catabolism was found to be fermentative in both cases. Acetate was a major product of both organisms while H. m. ingenoplastis produced more ethanol and propionate and less succinate than H. m. muscarum . Ethanol production by H. m. ingenoplastis decreased both under anaerobic conditions and in the presence of elevated CO2 concentrations, whereas succinate and propionate release by this organism were greater in high CO2 and anoxia, respectively. Succinate production by H. m. muscarum was greatest under anaerobic conditions in elevated CO2 whereas propionate was only a minor product. The same four products were released during growth of the organisms in complex medium, but the relative proportions differed suggesting that other substrates were being used. Both organisms contained enzymes of the glycolytic and pentose phosphate pathways, but while all activities of the TCA cycle were present in H. m. muscarum . NAD-linked isocitrate dehydrogenase, α-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase, succinate CoA synthase and succinate dehydrogenase were not detected in H. m. ingenoplastis . Fumarate reductase activity was present in both organisms. The data presented suggest that CO2-fixation and reverse flux through the TCA cycle may be important factors that enable the organisms to undergo anaerobiosis.  相似文献

Plasmodium falciparum mitochondrial ADP/ATP transporter or adenylate translocase (PfAdT) was previously characterised at the molecular level and intracellularly located by immuno-electromicroscopy. Inhibition of this transporter blocks parasite development in erythrocytes. In this study, PfAdT was expressed in C43 (DE3) Escherichia coli strain under isopropyl beta-d-thiogalacto-pyranoside (IPTG) induction to screen inhibitory molecules. PfAdT was integrated directly into the bacterial cytoplasmic membrane. Whereas IPTG-induced bacterial cells imported radioactively labelled ATP, non-induced cells did not. The transporter bound specifically ADP and ATP, but not AMP. IPTG-induced cells preloaded with labelled ATP exported ATP after exogenous addition of unlabelled ADP or ATP, indicating a counter exchange transport mechanism. Bongrekic acid and atractyloside, two well-known specific inhibitors of mitochondrial ADP/ATP transporter, were tested. This experimental model was evaluated using three Malagasy crude plants extracts which have shown antiplasmodial activity on in vitro parasite cultures.  相似文献

Membranes from Halobacterium saccharovorum contained a cryptic ATPase which required Mg2+ or Mn2+ and was activated by Triton X-100. The optimal pH for ATP hydrolysis was 9-10. ATP or GTP were hydrolyzed at the same rate while ITP, CTP, and UTP were hydrolyzed at about half that rate. The products of ATP hydrolysis were ADP and phosphate. The ATPase required high concentrations (3.5 M) of NaCl for maximum activity. ADP was a competitive inhibitor of the activity, with an apparent Ki of 50 microM. Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCCD) inhibited ATP hydrolysis. The inhibition was marginal at the optimum pH of the enzyme. When the ATPase was preincubated with DCCD at varying pH values, but assayed at the optimal pH for activity, DCCD inhibition was observed to increase with increasing acidity of the preincubation medium. DCCD inhibition was also dependent on time of preincubation, and protein and DCCD concentrations. When preincubated at pH 6.0 for 4 h at a protein:DCCD ratio of 40 (w/w), ATPase activity was inhibited 90%.  相似文献

The hydrolysis of ATP, ADP or GTP was characterized in mitochondria and submitochondrial particles since a tightly-bound ATPase associated with the inner mitochondrial membrane from the human placenta has been described. Submitochondrial particles, which are basically inner membranes, were used to define the location of this enzyme. Mitochondria treated with trypsin and specific inhibitors were also used. The oxygen consumption stimulated by ATP or ADP was 100% inhibited in intact mitochondria by low concentrations of oligomycin (0.5 microgram/mg) or venturicidine (0.1 microgram/mg), while the hydrolysis of ATP or ADP was insensitive to higher concentrations of these inhibitors but it was inhibited by vanadate. Oligomycin or venturicidine showed a different inhibition pattern in intact mitochondria in relation to the hydrolysis of ATP, ADP or GTP. When submitochondrial particles were isolated from mitochondria incubated with oligomycin or venturicidine, no further inhibition of the nucleotide hydrolysis was observed, contrasting with the partial inhibition observed in the control. By incubating the placental mitochondria with trypsin, a large fraction of the hydrolysis of nucleotides was eliminated. In submitochondrial particles obtained from mitochondria treated with trypsin or trypsin plus oligomycin, the hydrolysis of ATP was 100% sensitive to oligomycin at low concentrations, resembling the oxygen consumption; however, this preparation still showed some ADP hydrolysis. Native gel electrophoresis showed two bands hydrolyzing ADP, suggesting at least two enzymes involved in the hydrolysis of nucleotides, besides the F1F0-ATPase. It is concluded that human placental mitochondria possesses ADPase and ATP-diphosphohydrolase activities (247).  相似文献

ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transport proteins catalyze the translocation of substrates at the expense of hydrolysis of ATP, but the actual ATP/substrate stoichiometry is still controversial. In the osmoregulated ABC transporter (OpuA) from Lactococcus lactis, ATP hydrolysis and substrate translocation are tightly coupled, and the activity of right-side-in and inside-out reconstituted OpuA can be determined accurately. Although the ATP/substrate stoichiometry determined from the uptake of glycine betaine and intravesicular ATP hydrolysis tends to increase with decreasing average size of the liposomes, the data from inside-out reconstituted OpuA indicate that the mechanistic stoichiometry is 2. Moreover, the two orientations of OpuA in proteoliposomes allowed possible contributions from substrate (glycine betaine) inhibition on the trans-side of the membrane and inhibition by ADP to be determined. Here we show that OpuA is not inhibited by up to 400 mm glycine betaine on the trans-side of the membrane. ADP is an inhibitor, but accumulation of ADP was negligible in the assays with inside-out-oriented OpuA, and potential effects of the ATP/ADP ratio on the ATP/substrate stoichiometry determinations could be eliminated.  相似文献

In this work we describe the ability of living Trypanosoma rangeli to hydrolyze extracellular ATP. In these intact parasites whose viability was assessed before and after the reactions by motility and by Trypan blue dye exclusion, there was a low level of ATP hydrolysis in the absence of any divalent metal (1.53+/-0.12 nmol P(i)/h x 10(7) cells). The ATP hydrolysis was stimulated by MgCl(2) and the Mg-dependent ecto-ATPase activity was 5.24+/-0.64 nmol P(i)/h x 10(7) cells. The Mg-dependent ecto-ATPase activity was linear with cell density and with time for at least 60 min. This stimulatory effect on the ATP hydrolysis was also observed when MgCl(2) was replaced by MnCl(2), but not by CaCl(2), SrCl(2), and ZnCl(2). The apparent K(m) for Mg-ATP2- was 0.53+/-0.11 mM. The optimum pH for the T. rangeli Mg-dependent ecto-ATPase activity lies in the alkaline range. This ecto-ATPase activity was insensitive to inhibitors of other ATPase and phosphatase activities, such as oligomycin, sodium azide, bafilomycin A1, ouabain, furosemide, vanadate, molybdate, sodium fluoride, tartrate, and levamizole. To confirm that this Mg-dependent ATPase was an ecto-ATPase, we used an impermeant inhibitor, DIDS (4, 4'-diisothiocyanostylbene 2'-2'-disulfonic acid) as well as suramin, an antagonist of P2 purinoreceptors and inhibitor of some ecto-ATPases. These two reagents inhibited the Mg(2+)-dependent ATPase activity in a dose-dependent manner. This ecto-ATPase activity was stimulated by carbohydrates involved in the attachment/invasion of salivary glands of Rhodnius prolixus and by lipophorin, an insect lipoprotein circulating in the hemolymph.  相似文献

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) hydrolysis catalyzed by the plasma membrane (Na+,K+)ATPase isolated from several sources was inhibited by Mg+, provided that K+ and ATP were also present. Phosphorylation of the adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) by ATP and by inorganic phosphate was also inhibited, as was p-nitrophenyl phosphatase activity. (Ethylenedinitrilo)tetraacetic acid (EDTA) and catecholamines protected from and reversed the inhibition of ATP hydrolysis by Mg2+, K+ and ATP. EDTA was protected by chelation of Mg2+ but catecholamines acted by some other mechanism. The specificities of various nucleotides as inhibitors (in conjunction with Mg2+ and K+) and as substrates for the (Na+, K+) ATPase were strikingly different. ATP, ADP, beta,gamma-CH2-ATP and alpha,beta-CH2-ADP were active as inhibitors, whereas inosine, cytidine, uridine, and guanosine triphosphates (ITP, CTP, UTP, and GTP) and adenosine monophosphate (AMP) were not. On the other hand, ATP and CTP were substrates and beta,gamma-NH-ATP was a competitive inhibitor of ATP hydrolysis, but not an inhibitor in conjunction with Mg2+ and K+. The Ca2+-ATPase from sarcoplasmic reticulum and F1, the Mg2+-ATPase from the inner mitochondrial membrane, were also inhibited by Mg2+. Catecholamines reversed inhibition of the Ca2+-ATPase, but not that of F1.  相似文献
