"Interesting Psychology"

Over the past few years, a considerable number of schoolteachers, methodologists, teachers in teachers' colleges and institutions, and managerial personnel at various levels have become interested in the system of developmental teaching that originated with D.B. El'konin. Many of them are trying to use the materials of this system in their practical work. Centers retraining specialists desiring to work in this system are already operating in a number of cities (Moscow, Kharkov, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Samara, Riga, etc.). Efforts are being made to initiate full-time and correspondence-course training of students who will then be able to work as teachers in this system of developmental teaching.
