The direct linear transformation (DLT) is a common technique used to calibrate cameras and subsequently reconstruct points filmed with two or more cameras in a three-dimensional object space. The assessment of the accuracy of this technique, and of the influence of the distribution of control points on accuracy were examined. It was concluded that to obtain a true estimation of reconstruction accuracy, an independent assessment criterion is required, and that the use of control points distributed around the outside, rather than within the space to be calibrated, is preferred.  相似文献

In this paper, a comparison is carried out between two photogrammetric algorithms aimed at camera calibration and three-dimensional target point reconstruction by ‘absolute’ distributions of control points; the first is Marzan and Karara's DLT, the second is CESNO, by the author, an algorithm quite close to Hatze's modified DLT (MDLT). The comparative assessment is especially aimed at testing the capability of the two methods to produce good results when calibration data are to be extrapolated beyond the space spanned by the control distribution. The assessment was carried out not by a real stereophotogrammetric system, but by the computer simulation of a two-camera set-up. Various combinations of internal camera parameters, such as the scaled principal distances, were tried out. As for the magnitude of the simulated non-linear lens distortion, three configurations were used which produced ‘low’, ‘medium’ and ‘strong’ distortion. The influence of decreasing the number of control (calibration) points on the accuracy performance of the two algorithms was also investigated. The results show the superiority of CESNO, especially with medium or strong lens distortion, or when the two camera principal distances sensibly differ.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to compare three camera calibration approaches applied to underwater applications: (1) static control points with nonlinear DLT; (2) moving wand with nonlinear camera model and bundle adjustment; (3) moving plate with nonlinear camera model. The DVideo kinematic analysis system was used for underwater data acquisition. The system consisted of two gen-locked Basler cameras working at 100 Hz, with wide angle lenses that were enclosed in housings. The accuracy of the methods was compared in a dynamic rigid bar test (acquisition volume-4.5×1×1.5 m(3)). The mean absolute errors were 6.19 mm for the nonlinear DLT, 1.16 mm for the wand calibration, 1.20 mm for the 2D plate calibration using 8 control points and 0.73 mm for the 2D plane calibration using 16 control points. The results of the wand and 2D plate camera calibration methods were less associated to the rigid body position in the working volume and provided better accuracy than the nonlinear DLT. Wand and 2D plate camera calibration methods presented similar and highly accurate results, being alternatives for underwater 3D motion analysis.  相似文献

This study investigated the role of lung vagal afferents in the respiratory-related evoked potential (RREP) response to inspiratory occlusions by using double-lung transplant recipients as a lung denervation model. Evoked potential recordings in response to inspiratory occlusions were obtained from 10 double-lung transplant (DLT) recipients with normal lung function and 12 healthy control (Nor) subjects under the attend, ignore, and unoccluded conditions. Results demonstrated that early-latency RREP components (P(1), P(1a), N(f), and N(1)) were not significantly different between the DLT and the Nor groups. The late-latency RREP component (P(3)) was identifiable in all DLT subjects during the attend trial. However, P(3) latency was significantly longer in the DLT group compared with the Nor group. The zero-to-peak amplitude of P(3) was also significantly smaller in the DLT group than that in the Nor group during the attend trial. These results suggest that lung vagal afferents were not essential to elicit RREP responses, but may contribute to the cognitive processing of respiratory stimuli.  相似文献

Summary We propose a hierarchical model for the probability of dose‐limiting toxicity (DLT) for combinations of doses of two therapeutic agents. We apply this model to an adaptive Bayesian trial algorithm whose goal is to identify combinations with DLT rates close to a prespecified target rate. We describe methods for generating prior distributions for the parameters in our model from a basic set of information elicited from clinical investigators. We survey the performance of our algorithm in a series of simulations of a hypothetical trial that examines combinations of four doses of two agents. We also compare the performance of our approach to two existing methods and assess the sensitivity of our approach to the chosen prior distribution.  相似文献

Deitamethrin (DLT) has been accepted to be 10,000 times less toxic to man than to insects. While toxicity of DLT in adult animals has been studied using biochemical and electrophysiological tools, reports on its developmental neurotoxicity are rather scanty. Wistar rat pups were exposed to DLT (0·7 mg/kg body wt/day, i.p., dissolved in propylene glycol from postnatal day 9–13. Equal number of age matched pups were used as vehicle controls. The animals were weighed and perfused intracardially on postnatal days 12,15,21, and 30 and their brains dissected out. Cerebellum along with the brainstem was separated by a transverse section at the tectal level and processed for morphometric and toxicological studies. The micro-and inter-neurons in the cerebellum are known to differentiate and mature, both morphologically and biochemically, during the postnatal life of rats. Postnatal exposure to DLT has been observed to delay the cytogenesis and morphogenesis of these neurons. In addition to this, damage to the developing vasculature has also been recorded in the form of thrombus and haemorrhage. Focal degeneration and spongy appearance of the tissue in the vicinity of the damaged blood vessels have also been recorded. The study has opened up several questions on the safety of this substance to the pregnant mothers and infants in the habitats where this substance is in use for vector control.  相似文献

Real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and in situ hybridization analyses were performed to investigate the occurrence and distribution of T-lymphocytes expressing TcRβ in intestine and lymphoid tissues of the bony fish, Dicentrarchus labrax (sea bass). Immunohistochemistry with the monoclonal antibody DLT15 (pan-T-cell marker) was carried out to compare the cytology, distribution and number of T-cells and TcRβ+ cells in the various sampled lymphoid organs. The highest TcRβ expression was revealed by real-time PCR in the thymus, with high levels also being found in the gut. In the thymus, DLT15+ and TcRβ+ cell populations were concentrated in the cortex and TcRβ+ cells were notably reactive at the cortical-medullary border, suggesting a specialized role of this region in thymocyte selection. The density of DLT15+ T-cells increased from the anterior to posterior intestine, whereas TcRβ+ lymphocytes were more numerous in the middle intestine compared with other segments. The existence, in fish thymus, of a medulla and a cortex comparable with those of mammals is revealed by this study. The concentration of TcRβ+ cells in the sea bass midgut also strongly suggests a special role of this intestinal segment in antigen-specific cellular immunity. The large population of TcRβ-/DLT15+ T-cells in the posterior gut can probably be ascribed to the TcRγδ phenotype fraction.  相似文献

The afferent pathways mediating respiratory load perception are still largely unknown. To assess the role of lung vagal afferents in respiratory sensation, detection of inspiratory resistive loads was compared between 10 double-lung transplant (DLT) recipients with normal lung function and 12 healthy control (Nor) subjects. Despite a similar unloaded and loaded breathing pattern, the DLT group had a significantly higher detection threshold (2.91 +/- 0.5 vs. 1.55 +/- 0.3 cmH(2)O. l(-1). s) and Weber fraction (0.50 +/- 0.1 vs. 0.30 +/- 0.1) compared with the Nor group. These results suggest that inspiratory resistive load detection occurs in the absence of vagal afferent feedback from the lung but that lung vagal afferents contribute to inspiratory resistive load detection response in humans. Lung vagal afferents are not essential to the regulation of resting breathing and load compensation responses.  相似文献

Roentgen stereophotogrammetric analysis (RSA) has been used for over 25 years for accurate micromotion measurement in a wide variety of orthopaedic applications. This study investigated two possible improvements to the method. First, direct linear transformation (DLT) was compared to the traditional RSA reconstruction algorithm. The two methods were considered with respect to standard extrapolation and interpolation calibration cages. Matlab simulations showed that reconstruction accuracy was greatly improved (>60%) by combining DLT with an even distribution of enclosing calibration markers. Second, a benchtop study using phantoms translated at 0.0254-mm intervals showed initial-calibration, followed by removal of the interpolation cage for subsequent exposures, was potentially twice as accurate as self-calibration with an extrapolation cage. These results showed optimizations for the application of RSA when unobstructed space is required.  相似文献

Two modified DLT algorithms are presented that improve the accuracy of three-dimensional object space reconstruction by almost an order of magnitude when compared with conventional methods. The improvement in the linear modified DLT (MDLT) algorithm is achieved by satisfying certain orthogonality conditions in the form of a non-linear constraint, thereby effectively eliminating a redundant DLT parameter. In the non-linear MDLT algorithm, the improvement and computational stability results from the appropriate elimination of implicit variables from one side of the approximating relations and the corresponding reformulation of the objective function to be minimized. The highest reconstruction accuracy of 0.733 mm rms mean error was obtained with the non-linear MDLT algorithm. This corresponds to a spatial resolution of about one part in 2860 or 0.035% overall accuracy. The accuracy obtainable with the linear MDLT was found to be slightly less and about 0.041% (0.833 mm rms mean error).  相似文献

Immunopurification of T-cells from sea bass Dicentrarchus labrax (L.)   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
The monoclonal antibody DLT15, specific for thymocytes and peripheral T-cells of the teleost fish Dicentrarchus labrax (sea bass), was used to purify immunoreactive cells from blood and gut-associated lymphoid tissue. The purification was performed by immuno-magnetic sorting of leucocyte fractions enriched by Percoll density gradient centrifugation, and the purity of the isolated cells was estimated by cytofluorimetric analysis. Following a single step, the percentage of DLT15-purified cells was 88 +/- 10% for gut-associated lymphoid tissue and 79 +/- 18% for blood leucocytes. DLT15-purified cells from gut-associated lymphoid tissue were employed for RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis. In RT-PCR experiments using as primers degenerate oligonucleotides corresponding to the peptide sequence MYWY and VYFCA of the trout TcR beta chain, a 203 bp product was amplified. When sequenced, the cDNA was found to show 60% nucleotide identity to the trout TcRV beta 3. By 3'-RACE the cDNA was elongated to obtain the TcR constant region, with high similarity to other fish TcR sequences. These results strongly suggest that cells recognised by DLT15 are putative T lymphocytes.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of afferent input from the lung and lower airways in magnitude estimation of inspiratory resistive loads (R). To assess the role of lung vagal afferents in respiratory sensation, sensations related to inspiratory R, reflected by subjects' percentage of handgrip responses (HG%), were compared between double-lung transplant (DLT) recipients with normal lung function and healthy control (Nor) subjects. Perceptual sensitivity to the external load was measured as the slope of HG% as a function of peak mouth pressure (Pm), and the slope of HG% as a function of R, after a log-log transformation. The results showed that the DLT group had a similar HG% response, as well as the slopes of log HG%-log Pm and log HG%-log R, compared with the Nor group. Furthermore, the ventilatory responses to external loads were also similar between the two groups. These results suggest that lung vagal afferents do not play a significant role in magnitude estimation of inspiratory resistive loads in humans.  相似文献

More than 1000 distributed ledger technology (DLT) systems raising $600 billion in investment in 2016 feature the unprecedented and disruptive potential of blockchain technology. A systematic and data-driven analysis, comparison and rigorous evaluation of the different design choices of distributed ledgers and their implications is a challenge. The rapidly evolving nature of the blockchain landscape hinders reaching a common understanding of the techno-socio-economic design space of distributed ledgers and the cryptoeconomies they support. To fill this gap, this paper makes the following contributions: (i) A conceptual architecture of DLT systems with which (ii) a taxonomy is designed and (iii) a rigorous classification of DLT systems is made using real-world data and wisdom of the crowd. (iv) A DLT design guideline is the end result of applying machine learning methodologies on the classification data. Compared to related work and as defined in earlier taxonomy theory, the proposed taxonomy is highly comprehensive, robust, explanatory and extensible. The findings of this paper can provide new insights and better understanding of the key design choices evolving the modeling complexity of DLT systems, while identifying opportunities for new research contributions and business innovation.

Polarization of epithelial cells depends on a hierarchical process whereby specific membrane-associated proteins become targeted to specialized membrane domains. Here, we describe a novel Drosophila protein, Discs Lost (DLT), that plays a crucial role in the polarization of embryonic epithelia during cellular blastoderm formation. At subsequent stages of development, DLT interacts with the apical determinant Crumbs (CRB) and the laterally localized protein Neurexin IV (NRX IV). Mutations in dlt or double-stranded RNA interference lead to aberrant localization of CRB and NRX IV and cause a concomitant loss of epithelial cell polarity. Hence, DLT is required to establish and maintain cell polarity and participates in different molecular complexes that define apical and lateral membrane domains.  相似文献

Cyclopentadienyltricarbonyl rhenium (CpRe(CO)(3)) systems can be prepared from ferrocenes and perrhenate by a double ligand transfer (DLT) reaction that gives reasonable yields and shows excellent functional group tolerance. We used this reaction for the direct preparation of CpRe(CO)(3)-phenyltropane conjugates. Such agents, when labeled with technetium-99m, might function as imaging agents for the dopamine transporter (DAT) system that would be useful for assessing the onset and severity of Parkinson's disease. Of the CpRe(CO)(3)-tropane conjugates prepared by the DLT reaction (as well as other analogues prepared by related methods), those substituted at the N-8 position seem most promising; their affinity for the DAT in all cases was high, and their ferrocene precursors for the DLT reaction can be prepared in a convenient manner. By contrast, the 3 beta-conjugates were poor DAT binders. The modular nature of these systems offers considerable flexibility that could be used to improve the binding characteristics of these compounds further.  相似文献

Population decline and a shift in the geographical distribution of some ectothermic animals have been attributed to climatic warming. Here, we show that rises in water temperature of a few degrees, while within the thermal window for locomotor performance, may be detrimental to diving behaviour in air-breathing ectotherms (turtles, crocodilians, marine iguanas, amphibians, snakes and lizards). Submergence times and internal and external body temperature were remotely recorded from freshwater crocodiles (Crocodylus johnstoni) while they free-ranged throughout their natural habitat in summer and winter. During summer, the crocodiles'' mean body temperature was 5.2 ± 0.1°C higher than in winter and the largest proportion of total dive time was composed of dive durations approximately 15 min less than in winter. Diving beyond 40 min during summer required the crocodiles to exponentially increase the time they spent on the surface after the dive, presumably to clear anaerobic debt. The relationship was not as significant in winter, even though a greater proportion of dives were of a longer duration, suggesting that diving lactate threshold (DLT) was reduced in summer compared with winter. Additional evidence for a reduced DLT in summer was derived from the stronger influence body mass exerted upon dive duration, compared to winter. The results demonstrate that the higher summer body temperature increased oxygen demand during the dive, implying that thermal acclimatization of the diving metabolic rate was inadequate. If the study findings are common among air-breathing diving ectotherms, then long-term warming of the aquatic environment may be detrimental to behavioural function and survivorship.  相似文献
