The crystal structures of two copper(II) complexes of 4-fluorophenoxyacetic acid (4-FPAH) have been determined by X-ray diffraction. [Cu(4-FPA)2(H2O)2]·2(4-FPAH)·2H2O (1) is triclinic, space group P1 with Z = 1 in a cell of dimensions a = 14.808(2), b = 9.832(2), c = 6.847(2) Å, α = 87.77(2), β = 98.41(2), γ = 112.33(2)° and was refined to a residual of 0.038 for 1697 ‘observed’ reflections. The coordination sphere in this complex is tetragonally distorted octahedral comprising two waters [CuO, 1.940(3) Å], two unidentate carboxylate oxygens [CuO, 1.942(2) Å] and two ether oxygens [CuO, 2.471(2) Å]. Two adducted [4-FPAH] acid molecules are linked to the un-coordinated oxygens of the acid ligands by hydrogen bonds [2.547(4) Å]. [Cu2(4-FPA)4(2-aminopyrimidine)2] (2) is triclinic, space group P1 with Z = 1 in a cell of dimensions a = 12.688(2), b = 11.422(2), c = 7.951(1) Å, α = 78.74(1), β = 107.51(1), γ = 75.78(1)°, and was refined to a residual of 0.042 for 2683 ‘observed’ reflections. (2) is a centrosymmetric tetracarboxylate bridged dimer with four similar CuO (equatorial) distances [1.967–1.987 Å; 1.977(3) Å mean] and the axial position occupied by the hetero nitrogen of the 2-aminopyrimidine ligand [CuN, 2.176(3) Å]. The Cu---Cu separation is 2.710(1) Å. Crystal data are also presented which confirm the isostructurality of complex (2) with [Cu2(phenoxyacetate)4(2-aminopyrimidine)2], the CoII, MgII and MnII4-fluorophenoxyacetate complexes with their phenoxyacetic and 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid analogues, and of CdII4-fluorophenoxyacetate with CdII and ZnII phenoxyacetates.  相似文献

The reaction of Cu(ClO4)2·6H2O with the Schiff base derived from 1,1′-(2,6-pyridyl)-bis-1,3-butanedione and 3-amino-1-propanol, (H4L2), yields the complex Cu(H4L2)(ClO4)2·H2O. The crystal structure of this complex is triclinic, R = 0.0521, 5602 reflections. The species is dimeric leading to a binuclear copper(II) complex in which the well- separated (8.93 Å intramolecular and 5.46 Å inter- molecular) copper(II) atoms are in distorted square pyramidal geometries.  相似文献

The X-ray structure determinations of the compound Cu(debd)(NCS)2 at 140 K and at 298 K showed at both temperatures a tetragonal crystal system with space group P41212 (Z=4) and a molecular C2 symmetry. Cell dimensions are: a= 9.577, c=24.422 Å and V=2240 Å3 at 140 K, and a=9.614, c=24.854 Å and V=2297 Å3 at 298 K. 1218 (140 K) and 1057 (298 K) reflections with I > 1.96 σ(I) were used for the solution to a final Rw value of 0.036 (140 K) and 0.032 (298 K). The copper(II) environment is roughly octahedral. The copper to nitrogen bonds vary with temperature: Cu-N(amine)=2.242 Å (140 K) and 2.191 Å (298 K), Cu-N(pyrazole)=2.099 Å (140 K) and 2.193 Å (298 K), and Cu-NCS=2.060 Å (140 K) and 2.034 Å (298 K). The ESR spectra of the Cu(II)- doped isomorphous Zn(II) and Cd(II) compounds, which have been measured at ambient temperature, at 77 K, and at 3 K, clearly reflect the temperature dependence of the structure.  相似文献

Two copper(II) complexes, [Cu(sac)2(4-cypy)2(H2O)], 1 and [Cu(sac)2(4-Ampy)2(H2O)], 2 (4-cypy: 4-cyanopyridine; 4-Ampy: 4-aminopyridine) were prepared. Physicochemical properties of the complexes were studied by spectroscopic (solution UV–vis, diffuse reflectance and IR) techniques. Structural X-ray diffraction data could be obtained only for [Cu(sac)2(4-cypy)2(H2O)] that it crystallized in the tetragonal space group P4cc with a=b=15.313(1), c=13.240(1) Å, and Z=4 molecules per unit cell. The complex was cited on a crystallographic C2-axis with the Cu(II) ion in a square–pyramidal environment, coordinated at the pyramid basis to the nitrogen atom of two saccharine anions [d(Cu–N)=2.011(3) Å] and the pyridine N-atom of two 4-cyanopyridine ligands [d(Cu–N)=2.038(4) Å]. The coordination was completed by a water molecule at the pyramid apex [d(Cu–Ow)=2.189(5) Å]. Elemental and spectroscopic analyses revealed an O-saccharinate coordination mode for complex 2 and a square–pyramidal structure. Only complex 2 retained its structure in methanolic solution. However, both complexes were able to catalyze the dismutation of superoxide anion (O2?) (pH 7.5) at micromolar concentrations. Therefore, these complexes behaved as useful SOD-mimetic compounds.  相似文献

The single crystal X-ray structures of (CuICH3CN4·dibenzo-18-crown-6 (I) and (CuICH3CN) (II) have been determined at room temperature [(I) C28H36Cu4I4N4o6, monoclinic space group P21/n, a = 10.116(4), b = 18.092(8), c = 22.211(9) Å, β = 98.66(3)°, Z = 4; (II) C2H3CuIN, orthorhombic pBN21, a = 13.618(8), b =8.742(2), c = 4.298(2), Z = 4]. (I) exists as a distorted cube with copper and iodine at alternate corners, the fourth coordination site copper occupied by an acetonitrile molecule coordinated through nitrogen. The cluster contains no crystallographic symmetry element and CuCu distances average 2.770(5) Å. The dibenzo-18-crown-6 displays only second sphere type interactions with cluster. (II) displays a pleated double chain type structure with distorted rectangles of alternating Cu and I atoms sharing opposite edges in infinite array. Copper displays tetrahedral geometry by coordination to three iodine atoms and a nitrogen bound acetonitrile molecule.  相似文献

The preparation, spectral properties, and crystal structure of a mononuclear copper(II) complex of acetylsalicylate and pyridine are reported. The complex exists as bis(acetylsalicylato)bis(pyridine)copper(II) both in the solid state and in chloroform solution. The crystal is monoclinic, space group P21/n, with a = 17.823(5), b = 10.903(4), c = 6.598(2) Å, β = 95.74(2)°. The final refinement used 1472 observed reflections and gave an R of 0.046. The copper atom is surrounded by four atoms in a trans square planar arrangement with two short CuO distances of 1.949(3) Å and two CuN distances of 2.003(4) Å. Two longer CuO distances of 2.623(3) Å are made with the remaining oxygen atoms of the aspirin carboxylate groups.  相似文献

Combined pH-metric, UV-Vis, 1H NMR and EPR spectral investigations on the complex formation of M(II) ions (M=Co, Ni, Cu and Zn) with N-(2-benzimidazolyl)methyliminodiacetic acid (H2bzimida, hereafter H2L) in aqueous solution at a fixed ionic strength, I=10−1 mol dm−3, at 25 ± 1 °C indicate the formation of M(L), M(H−1L) and M2(H−1L)+ complexes. Proton-ligand and metal-ligand constants and the complex formation equilibria have been elucidated. Solid complexes, [M(L)(H2O)2] · nH2O (n=1 for M = Co and Zn, n=2 for M = Ni) and {Cu (μ-L) · 4H2O}n, have been isolated and characterized by elemental analysis, spectral, conductance and magnetic measurements and thermal studies. Structures of [Ni(L)(H2O)2] · 2H2O and {Cu(μ-L) · 4H2O}n have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The nickel(II) complex exists in a distorted octahedral environment in which the metal ion is coordinated by the two carboxylate O atoms, the amino-N atom of the iminodiacetate moiety and the pyridine type N-atom of the benzimidazole moiety. Two aqua O atoms function as fifth and sixth donor atoms. The copper(II) complex is made up of interpenetrating polymeric chains of antiferromagnetically coupled Cu(II) ions linked by carboxylato bridges in syn-anti (apical-equatorial) bonding mode and stabilized via interchain hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions.  相似文献

The preparation and molecular and crystal structure of the complex [(ethylenediamine)bis(7,9,-dimethylhypoxanthine)platinum(II)] hexafluorophosphate, [Pt(C2H8N2)(C7H8N4O)2] (PF6)2, are reported. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, with a = 12.334(2)Å, b = 10.256(2)Å, c = 22.339(3)Å, β = 101.31(1)°, V = 2771.0Å3, Z = 4, Dmeasd = 2.087(3) g cm?3, Dcalc = 2.094 g cm?3. Intensities for 3992 symmetry-averaged reflections were collected in the θ-2o scan mode on an automated diffractometer employing graphite-monochromatized MoKα radiation. The structure was solved by standard heavy-atom Patterson and Fourier methods. Full matrix least-squares refinement led to a final R value of 0.051. Both the ethylenediamine chelate and the PF6? anion are disordered. The primary coordination sphere about the Pt(II) center is approximately square planar with the bidentate ethylenediamine ligand and the N(1) atoms [Pt(II) ? N(1) = 2.020(5)Å] of two 7,9-dimethylhypoxanthine bases (related by a crystallographic twofold axis of symmetry) occupying the four coordination sites. The exocyclic O(6) carbonyl oxygen atoms of the two 7,9-dimethylhypoxanthine ligands participate in intracomplex hydrogen bonding with the amino groups of the ethylenediamine chelate [N(ethylenediamine) ? O(6) = 2.89( )Å]. The observed Pt ? O(6) intramolecular distances of 3.074(6)Å are similar to those found in other Pt(II) N(1)-bound 6-oxopurine complexes and in several Pt(II) N(3)-bound cytosine systems.  相似文献

A number of di-Cu(II) complexes of the new tetraimine macrocyclic ligand derived from the Schiff base [2 + 2] condensation of 2,5-diformylfuran with 3-oxa-pentane-1,5-diamine have been prepared by methods which employ the heavier alkaline earth metal ions as templates followed by transmetallation. The complexes have been characterised by spectroscopic and other physical methods. Several of the di-Cu(I) complexes react reversibly with CO in solution and irreversibly with O2 in a 4:1 Cu:O2 stoicheiometry. Depending on conditions the oxidation product may be a dinuclear Cu(II) complex of the macrocycle or a mononuclear Cu(II) complex of a new ring-opened ligand. The single crystal X-ray structure of the latter complex has been determined.[CuL](BPh4)2 is monoclinic, space group C2/c with a=20.12(1), b=14.48(1), c=22.37(2) Å, β=110.1(1)°, Z=4. 1389 Independent reflections above background were measured on a diffractometer and the structure refined to R=0.108. The cation has imposed C2 symmetry. The copper atom is bonded to four nitrogen atoms in the ‘outer’ compartment of the ligand with unique CuN distances of 2.050(17) and 1.977(17) Å. The geometry of the copper atom is intermediate between square planar and tetrahedral with an angle of 39.7° between two CuN2 planes. Molecular mechanics calculations show that this distortion is due to steric effects.  相似文献

The interactions between N-tosylamino acids and cobalt(II), nickel(II) and zinc(II) ions in aqueous solution and in the solid state have been investigated. From concentrated aqueous solutions, compounds of general formula [M(II)(N-tosylaminoacidato)2(H2O)4](M = Co(II), Ni(II) and N-tosylaminoacidato = N-tosylglycinate (Tsgly?), N-tosyl-α- and -β-alaninate (Ts-α- and Ts-β-ala?); M = Zn(II) and N-tosylaminoacidate = Tsgly?, Ts-β-ala?) and [Zn(II)(N- tosylaminoacidato)2(H2O)2] were isolated and characterized by means of thermogravimetric, electronic and infrared spectra. For two of them: [Co(Tsgly)2(H2O)4](I) and [Zn(Ts-β-ala)2(H2O)4](II) the crystal and molecular structures were also determined. Both compounds crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with two formula units in a cell of dimensions: a = 13.007(6), b = 5.036(2), c = 18.925(7) Å, β = 102.33(3)° for (I) and a = 14.173(6), b = 5.469(2), c = 17.701(7) Å, β = 106.63(3)° for (II). The structures were solved by the heavy-atom method and refined by least-squares calculations to R = 0.031 and 0.064 for (I) and (II) respectively. The cobalt and zinc atoms lie in the centers of symmetry, each bonded to two amino- acid molecules through a carboxylic oxygen atom and four water molecules in a slightly tetragonally distorted octahedral geometry. The second carboxylic oxygen atom is not involved in metal coordination. Electronic and X ray-powder spectra suggest that the tetrahydrate complexes of Co2+, Ni2+ and Zn2+ ions of the same amino acids are isomorphous and isostructural. No coordinative interactions between ligand and metal ions were found in aqueous solution on varying the pH values before hydroxide precipitation.  相似文献

By reacting aquobis(1,2-naphthoquinone 1-oximato)copper(II) [Cu(nqo)2·H2O] with lanthanide chlorides, new heteropolynuclear complexes containing both CuII and LnIII (LnIII = LaIII, NdIII) were obtained. The compounds have been characterized by elemental and thermogravimetric analysis, electron microprobe analysis, and electronic and vibrational spectral data. A different CuII complex, containing nqo ligands and ionic perchlorate but no lanthanide ions, was obtained by reaction of Cu(nqo)2·H2O with lanthanide perchlorates.  相似文献

In vitro copper (II) complex presents antimitotic effects. In this work, we have studied the in vivo seasonal toxic effects of copper (II), ligand (H2L) and the complex [Cu(H2L)(H2O)2]Cl2·4H2O in male Swiss mice. During spring, an i.p. injection of CuCl2 in aqueous NaCl (9 g·l-1) up to 0.05 µmol·kg-1 b.w. (body weight) killed 60% of the rodents after 6 days. LD100 was up to 0.3 µmol·kg-1; H2L was well tolerated, while the complex was 30% lethal with 50 µmol·kg-1. In autumn, mice were less sensitive to CuCl2, and both ligand and complex were equally tolerated and this leads to the conclusion that, in vivo, chronotoxicities of copper (II) and complex in NaCl aqueous solutions are quite different in spring and autumn seasons.  相似文献

The crystal structures of the cadmium(II) and lead(II) complexes of phenoxyacetic acid (PAH) have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. The cadmium complex, [Cd(PA)2(H2O)2] (1), space group C2, with Z = 2 in a cell of dimensions, a = 11.801(2), b = 5.484(1), c = 13.431(3) Å, β = 100.87(2)°, possesses a distorted trapezoidal bipyramidal coordination around the metal atom, involving two water oxygens [2.210(5) Å] and four carboxyl oxygens from two symmetrical bidentate phenoxyacetate ligands [2.363(4), 2.365(4) Å] with Cd lying on the crystallographic two- fold axis. The lead complex, [Pb2(PA)4(H2O)]n(2) is triclinic, space group P1, Z = 2, with a cell of dimensions, a = 10.135(4), b = 10.675(3), c = 19.285(9) Å, α = 114.66(3), β = 91.94(3) and γ = 114.99(3)°. (2) is a two-dimensional polymer with a repeating dimer sub-unit. The first lead [Pb(1)] has an irregular MO8 coordination [2.34?2.96(2) Å: mean, 2.63(2) Å] involving the water molecule, two oxygens from an asymmetric bidentate carboxylate group, two from a bidentate chelate [O(ether), O(carboxylate)] group and three from bridging oxygens, one of which also provides a polymer link to another symmetry generated lead. The second lead [Pb(2)] is irregular seven-coordinate [PbO, 2.48?2.73(2) Å: mean, 2.61(2) Å] with three bonds from the bridging groups, two from an unsymmetrical bidentate carboxylate (O, O′) group and one from a second carboxyl group which also bridges two Pb(2) centres in the polymer.  相似文献

The crystal structures and 95Mo NMR spectra of two complexes formed between 2-α-hydroxybenzyl- benzimidazole (C6H5·CHOH·C7H5N2=HOBB), as its sodium salt, and MoO2Cl2 are reported. [MoO2- (OBB)2]·EtOH (OBB=deprotonated HOBB) crystallizes in space group P21/n, with a=12.8441(7), b=15.917(3), c=13.314(2) Å, β=97.163(8)° and Z =4. The structure was determined from 3096 observed reflections and refined to a final R value of 0.030. The complex is a six coordinate cis-dioxo species, the 95Mo spectrum of which shows a single sharp peak at 56 ppm in dimethylformamide (DMF). The second complex, [Mo2O5(OBB)2]·EtOH·H2O, crystallizes in space group Pbca, with a=22.482(4), b=16.442(3), c=18.407(3) Å and Z=8. The structure was determined from 2936 observed reflections and refined to a final R value of 0.061. The complex is a binuclear doubly bridged species in which one metal atom is six coordinate while the other is five coordinate. Its 95Mo NMR spectrum in DMF shows a sharp peak at 124 ppm and a second broader much weaker peak at 51 ppm.  相似文献

A copper(II) complex containing aspartame (APM) as ligand, Cu(APM)2Cl2·2H2O, was synthesized and characterized. In vitro binding interaction of this complex with human serum albumin (HSA) was studied at physiological pH. Binding studies of this complex with HSA are useful for understanding the Cu(APM)2Cl2·2H2O–HSA interaction mechanism and providing guidance for the application and design of new and more efficient artificial sweeteners drive. The interaction was investigated by spectrophotometric, spectrofluorometric, competition experiment and circular dichroism. Hyperchromicity observed in UV absorption band of Cu(APM)2Cl2·2H2O. A strong fluorescence quenching reaction of HSA to Cu(APM)2Cl2·2H2O was observed and the binding constant (Kf) and corresponding numbers of binding sites (n) were calculated at different temperatures. Thermodynamic parameters, enthalpy change (?H) and entropy change (?S) were calculated to be ?458.67 kJ mol?1 and ?1,339 J mol?1 K?1 respectively. According to the van’t Hoff equation, the reaction is predominantly enthalpically driven. In conformity with experimental results, we suggest that Cu(APM)2Cl2·2H2O interacts with HSA. In comparison with previous study, it is found that the Cu(II) complex binds stronger than aspartame.  相似文献

The structure of the complex [Pt(trans-1,2-di- aminocyclohexane) (acetate)2]·H2O has been determined by X-ray diffraction. This racemic compound is orthorhombic, space group Aba2, a = 20.813(9), b = 7.926(5), c = 17.296(8) Å, Z = 8. The structure was refined on 1214 nonzero Cu Kα reflections to R = 0.028. The square planar environment of Pt includes the amino groups of the diamine in cis positions and oxygens from two monodentate acetates. The PtN and PtO distances average 2.00(3) and 2.02(3) Å, respectively. The bite of the diamine ligand imposes a NPtN angle of 85(1)°, whereas the small OPtO angle of 85(1)° probably results from packing effects. The average plane through the puckered cyclohexyl ring makes an angle of 19° with the PtN2O2 plane. The molecules are stacked by pairs along the b axis. The two molecules of each pair are 180° apart about the stacking axis, and form altogether four NH···O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Iodine-cyclohexa-amylose tetrahydrate [(C6H10O5)6 ·I2·d4H2O] crystallizes in the orthorhombic space-group P212121, a  14.240 Å, b  36.014 Å, c  9.558 Å. The structure was solved by heavy-atom techniques and refined by least-squares methods to a conventional discrepancy index R  0.148 for the 2872 observed data. The six d-glucose residues are in the C1 chair conformation; the conformational angles vary in magnitude from 45 to 66°, the angles O(5)-C(5)-C(6)-O(6) are close to · 70°, and the six O(4) atoms are almost coplanar (r.m. s. displacement 0.13 Å). Only four of the six O(2) ?O(3) intramolecular hydrogen bonds have formed, which renders the molecule less symmetrical and more conical-shaped than in the previously determined α-cyclodextrin-potassium acetate complex. The iodine molecule is coaxial with the cyclohexa-amylose molecule. The I-I distance is a conventional 2.677 Å. Close interactions between the iodine atoms and the host molecule comprise carbon atoms C(5) and C(6) and oxygen atoms O(4), with interatomic distances all equal to or greater than van der Waals contacts. Intermolecular, almost-linear, short contacts O ? I-I?O with I?O distances of 3.22 and 3.07 Å indicate attractive interaction. The molecules are arranged in herring-bone “cage-type” fashion, with the four water molecules as space-filling mediators; the structure is held together by an intricate network of hydrogen bonds.  相似文献
