Genus Thubana Walker in Indonesia, with descriptions of four new species (Lepidoptera: Lecithoceridae) and a world catalog of the genus

The genus Thubana Walker (Lepidoptera: Lecithoceridae: Torodorinae) in Indonesia is reviewed, with three known species from Java and four additional new species: Th. raphidodea sp. nov. from Sulawesi, Indonesia and Malaysia; and Th. erycinae sp. nov., Th. apiculalis sp. nov. and Th. sellarius sp. nov. from Sumatra, Indonesia. The previously known species from Java, Th. costimaculella (Snellen), is redescribed for the wing venation and genitalia of both sexes; however, the syntype of Th. heylaertsi (Snellen) is observed only by its photograph. No specimens of Th. heylaertsi and Th. xylogramma Meyrick were found during this study. Photos of all known species, except Th. xylogramma Meyrick, and a key to species are provided. A catalog for the genus with all 46 known species in the world is given.     

Genus Autosticha Meyrick (Lepidoptera: Autostichidae) from Taiwan,China

Fourteen species of the genus Autosticha Meyrick,1886 are recorded from Taiwan,China.The genus Cynicocrates Meyrick,1935 is proposed as a new synonym of Autosticha,and its type species A.tachytoma (Meyrick,1935) comb.nov.is transferred to Autosticha.Autosticha cordiformis sp.nov.is described as new,and A.tachytoma is redescribed with male for the first time.A checklist of all the described species in Taiwan is given.Photographs of the new species and the newly combined species are provided.     

世界圆织蛾属研究（鳞翅目： 织蛾科）

在检查所有模式标本的基础上系统研究了世界圆织蛾属Eonympha Meyrick共6种,其中记述2个新种： 梵净圆织蛾Eonympha fanjingshana sp. Nov. 和突圆织蛾Eonympha basiprojecta sp. Nov.; 报道了1新组合 Eonympha hesperanthes (Meyrick);提供了新种和新组合种的成虫和外生殖器特征图;给出了该属世界已知种的分种检索表。新种的模式标本保存在南开大学生物系。     

Review of the genus Thubana Walker (Lepidoptera, Lecithoceridae) from China, with description of one new species

The genus Thubana Walker is reviewed for China. Nine species are recognized, of which Thubana felinaurita Li, sp. n. is described as new; Thubana dialeukos Park, 2003 and Thubana xanthoteles (Meyrick, 1923) are newly recorded for this country; Thubana stenosis (Park, 2003), syn. n. is synonymised with Thubana xanthoteles, and Thubana microcera (Gozmány, 1978), syn. n. with Thubana leucosphena Meyrick, 1931. Images of adults and genitalia are provided. A checklist of Thubana species in China is included, along with a key to these species.     

Review of the genus Fibuloides Kuznetsov in China (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae, Olethreutinae)

Species of the genus Fibuloides Kuznetsov that occur in China are reviewed. Fibuloides trapezoidea, sp. n.is described as new; Fibuloides levatana (Kuznetsov) and Fibuloides modificana Kuznetsov are newly recorded for China; Acroclita nigrovenana Kuznetsov, syn. n. is considered as a synonym of Fibuloides corinthia (Meyrick); and Eucoenogenes elongata Zhang & Li and Eucoenogenes wuyiensis Zhang & Li are transferred to Fibuloides, resulting in two new combinations. A key to the nine Chinese species of Fibuloides is given.     

Lecithocerinae (Lepidoptera,Lecithoceridae) of Vietnam I. Genera Homaloxestis Meyrick and Synersaga Gozmány

As a result of the insect surveys in the northern part of Vietnam, the genera Homaloxestis Meyrick and Synersaga Gozmány of the subfamily Lecithocerinae belonging to Lecithoceridae are reviewed in this paper, and illustrations of these moths and their genitalia are provided. Three of the nine species identified are described as new species: Homaloxestis. vinhphuensis sp. nov., Synersaga kuni sp. nov., and S. nigriptera sp. nov. Keys to the species of both genera are provided. Frisilia striapunctata Wu is transferred to the genus Homaloxestis Meyrick.     

中国绿小卷蛾属Eucoenogenes分类研究(鳞翅目:卷蛾科:新小卷蛾亚科)

本文报道了中国绿小卷蛾属6种,包括2新种和1新记录种：长绿小卷蛾Eucoenogenes elongata,sp．nov．,武夷绿小卷蛾Eucoenogenes wuyiensis,sp．nov．和叉绿小卷蛾Eucoenogenes cyanopsis(Meyrick)。文中给出中国已知6个种的检索表。模式标本保存在南开大学生物系。1．长绿小卷蛾Eucoenogenes elongata,新种(图1～2)翅展13．5mm。正模：♂,云南巍山县巍宝山,海拔2200m,2001-Ⅶ-20,李后魂,玻片号ZAH03725。本种与同属其它种的区别在于：雄性爪形突下垂,抱器瓣狭长,左侧颈部具5根粗刺,右侧具四根。2．武夷绿小卷蛾Eucoenogenes wuyiensis,新种(图3～4)翅展13．0mm。正模：♂,福建武夷山仙峰岭,海拔1000m,2004-Ⅴ-26,于海丽采,玻片号ZAH04215副模：1♂,同正模。本种与其余种明显不同,区别在于：雄性爪形突细长,尾突侧生,三角形,抱器瓣颈部具一根粗刺。

A STUDY ON THE GENUS PROMALACTIS MEYRICK (LEPIDOPTERA:OECOPHORIDAE) FROM CHINA: FIVE NEW SPECIES AND TWO NEW RECORD SPECIES

Abstract  This paper deals with seven species of the genus Promalactis Meyrick from China. Among them, five species, i. e. P. infulata sp. nov., P. baotianmanensis sp. nov., P. densimacularis sp. nov., P. brevivalvaris sp. nov. and P. colacephala sp. nov., are described as new to science. Two species, P. bitaenia Park et Park and P. autoclina Meyrick, are recorded for the first time from this country. The genital structures of both sexes are illustrated.

Two new species of the genus Telephata Meyrick (Lepidoptera,Lecithoceridae) from Papua New Guinea with notes on T. nitens (Daikonoff), comb. nov.

Two new species of the genus Telephata Meyrick which has been known to be monotypic, T. melanista, sp. nov. and T. ferruginula, sp. nov., are described from Papua New Guinea. A known species from the island, Lecithocera nitens Daikonoff, is transferred to this genus; Telephata nitens (Diakonoff), comb. nov. Keys to the species of Telephata, based on external and genital characters are given, along with illustrations of adults, wing venations, and male genitalia.     

Neotropical taxa referable to acrolophus (Lepidoptera: Tineidae)

Abstract. The new World genus Acrolophus , with about 225 species, has alreay twenty-six generic synonyms. a further four genera, Daulia Walker, 1863 [norm. praeocc., nec Walker, 1859] (monobasic), Brachysymbola Meyrick (monobasic), Orothyntis Meyrick (two species) and Psephocrita Meyrick (monobasic) are here synonmized with Acrolophus. Daulia indecora Walker, Brachysymbola sepulcralis Meyrick, Orothyntis scruopulata Meyrick, O.torata meyrick and Psephocrita melanodoxa Meyrick are transferred to Acrolophus. Acrolophus reflexa (Fabricius) and its genitalia are figured from recently collected materila.     

A remarkable new species of Stephensia Stainton (Insecta: Lepidoptera: Elachistidae) from Belize rainforest (Central America)

Stephensia armata sp. n., a remarkable species is described from Belize (Central America). The external features and genitalia of the male are figured and described in detail. A distribution map for all six Elachistidae species, currently recorded from tropical America, is given: Perittia smaragdophanes (Meyrick), P. punatensis Kaila, Elachista albisquamella Zeller, E. saccharella (Busck), E. vasrana Kaila and Stephensia armata Sruoga, sp. n.     

Taxonomic Revision of the Marine Genera Bathydrilus Cook and Macroseta Erséus (Oligochaeta, Tubificidae), with Descriptions of Six New Species and Subspecies

Macroseta Erséus, 1975 is considered a junior synonym to Bathydrilus Cook, 1970 after examination of the type material of B. asymmetricus Cook, 1970. Bathydrilus is defined mainly by its organization of the male duct: vas deferens entering ectal half of atrium, one prostate gland attached to ectal part of atrium, near entrance of vas deferens, another prostate attached to apical, ental end of atrium. B. atlanticus sp.n., B. hadalis sp.n., B. meridianus sp.n., B. graciliatriatus sp.n. and B. longus sp.n. are described from specimens collected from various parts of the world; most of the species are deep-sea forms. Phallodrilus rohdei Jamieson, 1977 and Phallodrilus adriaticus Hrabe', 1971 are transferred to Bathydrilus , and a Caribbean/Bermudian form is described as B. adriaticus trisetosus subsp.n. The taxonomy and morphology of the different species, including B. rarisetis (Erséus, 1975) comb.n., are discussed. Bathydrilus is included in the sub-family Phallodrilinae. It appears closely related to Phallodrilus Pierantoni, 1902, from which it is distinguished principally by differences in the relative positions of the vasa deferentia, the atria and the prostate glands.     

Three new species of Rhinebothrium (Cestoda: Tetraphyllidea) from the freshwater whipray, Himantura chaophraya, in Malaysian Borneo

Three new Rhinebothrium Linton, 1890 species, R. kinabatanganensis n. sp., R. megacanthophallus n. sp., and R. abaiensis n. sp., collected from the spiral intestines of 6 freshwater whiprays (Himantura chaophraya, Dasyatidae) in the Kinabatangan River, Malaysian Borneo, are described. This is the first record of cestodes from the Kinabatangan River and from H. chaophraya. The new Rhinebothrium species are differentiated from the 34 valid Rhinebothrium species in addition to 2 species, Echeneibothrium hui Tseng, 1933 and E. oligotesticularis Subramaniam, 1940 that are herein transferred to Rhinebothrium. Each of the new species was examined with light and scanning electron microscopy. Two of the new species possess cilia on their bothridia, which have not previously been reported for members of this genus.
