Treatment of 3-year-old Scots, white, and Austrian pine seedlings with copper sulfate or lead acetate significantly affected energy homeostasis and oleoresin production in the seedlings but did not induce wilting of the seedlings. Inoculation of copper sulfate-treated or lead acetate-treated white, Scots, and Austrian pine seedlings with the white pine specific pathotype of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, VPSt-1, caused a significant increase in oleoresin production, stressed energy homeostasis, and induced rapid wilting of the seedlings. Scots pine lost tolerance and Austrian pine lost resistance to VPSt-1 after the seedlings were treated with either copper sulfate or lead acetate. These results suggest that environmental pollution may significantly affect susceptibility of pines to B. xylophilus and may have a role in establishment of this nematode in uninfested areas.  相似文献

This study was conducted to determine fertilizer compound ratios suitable for soil conditions and tree seedling growth in recently burned areas in Korean forests. Currently, the conventional fertilizer ratio applied to undisturbed forests in Korea is N:P:K 3:4:1. In this study, Japanese red pine (Pinus densiflora S. et Z.) seedlings planted in the burned area were fertilized over four growing seasons with the following NPK compound ratios: unfertilized (CON), 3:4:1, 6:4:1, 3:8:1, and 3:4:2. Fertilization generally increased current-year needle nutrient concentrations of the seedlings, and the chlorophyll a:b ratio in CON was significantly lower than in all fertilized plots. Fertilization significantly affected the growth of the pine seedlings, which had 71–87 % more height growth and 29–67 % increased root collar diameter (RCD) compared to CON. The increases in height and RCD were significantly higher with the 6:4:1 and 3:8:1 ratios than with the 3:4:1 ratio. The 3:4:2 and 3:4:1 fertilizer ratios had no effect on the RCD growth of seedlings. This suggests that the early growth of pine seedlings could be improved by providing high N and P supplies to areas affected by forest fires rather than the conventional fertilizer ratio of 3:4:1 in Korean forest soils. Therefore, application of the suitable fertilization ratio may be a very effective way to reduce reforestation cost as well as to shorten restoration period.  相似文献

Genetic control of GOT, GDH, DIA, MDH, SOD, FDH, ADH, ACP, and LAP enzymes was studied in the seed megagametophytes of cembra pine (Pinus cembra L.) from the natural population of the Ukrainian Carpa-thian mountains. Efficient electrophoretic separation was obtained for 21 loci products. The analysis of allele segregation in heterozygous trees confirms monogenic inheritance of the revealed variants.  相似文献

The composition and impact of the entomofauna exploiting seed cones of Swiss stone pine ( Pinus cembra L.) was surveyed in native stands and plantations of France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria during 1992–1996. A total of 2785 cones were collected from 25 sites. The cone entomofauna consisted of five species, of which three ( Dioryctria abietella , Eupithecia abietaria , Cecidomyia pini ) were regularly observed. The two other insects, Polydrusus atomarius and Zeiraphera diniana were observed on first-year cones, and only in two stands. No spermatophagous insect was detected. None of these insect species could be considered specific to cones of P. cembra. The overall damage never exceeded 40% of the cone crop. The importance of cone damage varied with year, cone abundance, and the position of the tree in the stand. The cone entomofauna of Swiss stone pine largely deviated from that recorded in cones of other high altitude conifers but resembled that of other stone pines growing in Eurasia. The question: why cones of P. cembra were less damaged by insects than those of other alpine conifers is discussed.  相似文献

在我国北方半湿润偏旱区的晋东豫西(寿阳)旱农试验区,持续10年进行了多种方式秸秆还田与秋季深施肥配合定位试验。探讨秸秆还田秋施肥对旱地玉米生长发育、产量、土壤水肥高效利用和土壤肥力变化的影响。结果表明,秸秆还田秋施肥较好地解决了深施肥与春季保墒捉全苗的矛盾,以及秸秆腐解与幼苗争夺水分养分而影响玉米幼苗生长的矛盾,秸秆资源丰富的区域优势得以充分利用,土壤微生物活动更为活跃,土壤水肥状况得到明显改善。表现为玉米苗全苗壮,根系发达,植株叶片光合速率、蒸腾速率提高,水分利用效率年平均提高了3.26~4.51kg·hm^-2·mm^-1,生育期耗水量累计减少8.1~264.5mm,氮、磷肥利用率分别提高了3.9%~13.9%和3.0%~9.1%,水肥资源得到了高效利用,10年累计增加12.10~17.27t·hm^-2玉米籽粒,增产幅度达25.6%~36.5%。玉米产量年际间波动减小,同时维持了较高的土壤肥力和生产力。  相似文献

以小黑杨当年播种苗为材料,研究了不同施氮量(12,24和48 mg·株-1)和不同形态氮素(有机氮和无机氮)施肥对小黑杨幼苗生长的影响,以探讨小黑杨对氮基酸类有机氮素施肥的生长响应。结果表明:无论施无机氮(硝酸铵)还是有机氮(精氨酸),小黑杨幼苗的苗高、地径、总生物量都是随施氮量的增加而增加,但是中等施氮量处理的幼苗氮利用效率最高。无机氮(硝酸铵)和有机氮(精氨酸)处理的幼苗在相同施氮水平下生长表现无明显差异,施用有机氮可以与施用无机氮获得相同的促进苗木生长的效果。不同氨基酸及其组合肥料施用对小黑杨幼苗生长的影响显著。单一氨基酸施肥情况下,施用精氨酸促进苗木生长的效果最好,谷氨酸次之,甘氨酸最差;氨基酸组合施肥情况下,有精氨酸的组合施肥苗木生长好,有甘氨酸的组合施肥苗木生长差。不同氨基酸施肥处理对小黑杨幼苗各器官氮含量没有明显影响。  相似文献

探讨几种市售肥料对红豆树(Ormosia hosiei)苗木各器官生长发育及养分含量的影响,为培育红豆树优质苗木选用肥料提供参考。以红豆树当年生大田苗为试材,采用3种常见肥料(复合肥、缓释肥和尿素)分3个施肥水平进行施肥试验,测定苗高、地径、根系指标、根系结瘤指标、各器官生物量及N、P、K含量,对不同施肥处理苗木质量进行综合评价。不同施肥处理对红豆树苗木生长、结瘤和矿质营养均有显著或极显著影响。施缓释肥和复合肥的处理表现为随施肥量的增加苗木的生长和生理指标均表现出先增后降趋势,施尿素则表现为随施肥量增加呈逐渐递减趋势。通过隶属函数对苗木质量进行综合评价,表明缓释肥30 g·m-2为最佳施肥处理,其苗高增量、各根系质量指标、各生物量指标、结瘤数量以及根、茎、叶的N、P、K含量均为最大。红豆树当年生苗木密度为50 株·m-2时,施用缓释肥(N-P-K: 30-6-7) 30 g·m-2可以有效提高红豆树的苗木质量。  相似文献

To clarify the physiological roles of heat shock proteins induced by copper, we studied the synthesis of these proteins and metallothionein, as well as the level and nature of copper incorporated into HeLa cells. Incubation in medium containing 200 microM cupric sulfate and above induced the synthesis of 70,000-Da heat shock protein (hsp70) in these cells. However, the synthesis of hsp70 did not increase in the presence of less than 200 microM cupric sulfate. On the other hand, the synthesis of metallothionein increased due to 100 microM cupric sulfate. The uptake of copper into the cells depended on the cupric sulfate concentration in the medium. To analyze the nature of the intracellular copper, cell extracts were separated by gel filtration chromatography into three fractions: the high molecular weight, metallothionein, and low molecular weight fractions. No copper was found in the low molecular weight fraction of control cells, but appeared distinctly at 200 microM cupric sulfate and above. Copper in the high molecular weight fraction also began to increase at 200 microM cupric sulfate and above, whereas in the metallothionein fraction it began to increase even at 50 to 100 microM cupric sulfate. Swiss stone pine Pinus cembra L. is a species with fragmented range, occurring in the Alpine-East Carpathian mountain system. Seeds of P. cembra are dispersed by nutcrackers, which offers potential possibilities for gene exchange among populations. Using isozyme analysis, we have examined five samples from two parts of the Swiss stone pine range: the Alps (Switzerland and Austria) and the Carpathians (two samples from the northern macroslope of the Gorgany Ridge, Eastern Carpathians, Ivano-Frankovsk oblast and one sample from Trans-Carpathian oblast of Ukraine). The allele frequencies of 30 isozyme loci, coding for enzymes ADH, FDH, FEST, GDH, GOT, IDH, LAP, MNR, MDH, PEPCA, 6PGD, PGI, PGM, SDH, SKDH, SOD, were analyzed using cluster analysis and methods of principal components. Two clusters, corresponding to the isolated Alpine and Carpathian parts of the range, were found. The main contribution to these differences were made by loci Adh-1, Adh-2, Fest-2, Lap-3, Mdh-4, and Sod-4. The interpopulation differentiation proved to be somewhat higher than that typical for pines (F(ST) = 7.4%), but within the limits characteristic for taxonomically close species. Thus, isolation of the populations did not lead to their marked differentiation, which may be explained by gene flow and balancing selection, which equalizes gene frequencies across the fragmented species area. Interlocus F(ST) heterogeneity (from 0.003 to 0.173) suggests adaptive significance of some of the allozyme polymorphisms or linkage of some loci with adaptive genes. The Carpathian populations were shown to have higher gene diversity than the Alpine ones (expected heterozygosities 0.095-0.114 and 0.060-0.080, respectively). A deficit of heterozygotes (as compared to the Hardy-Weinberg proportions), observed in the embryo sample, was probably explained by inbreeding. The reduction in the area of Carpathian pine forests in Holocene, caused by the global climatic changes and the anthropogenic impact, is hazardous for the gene pool of the species. The maintenance of genetic uniqueness of both Carpathian populations of P. cembra in general, and individual stands in particular, requires special measures for protection of Swiss stone pine in the Eastern Carpathians.  相似文献

长期定位试验表明:施肥对灰漠土生物类群、酶活性有一定影响,同时生物类群和酶活性也改变了土壤生态环境.(1) 施肥对灰漠土动物个体及类群数的影响显著,长期单施化肥对土壤动物优势度作用较大,化肥配施有机肥丰富了土壤动物组成,化肥配施秸秆有利于增加土壤动物的丰度,尤其是疣跳科和等节跳科动物个体数量增加近10倍,长期不施肥土壤动物均匀性较高,但优势类群数较低;(2)灰漠土微生物组成以细菌为主,特殊微生物生理类群是以固氮菌和氨化细菌数量居多.长期单施化肥不利于土壤微生物生长,几种菌类数量均较低,化肥配施有机物料增加了土壤微生物类群数量,比对照增加15%~44%,长期不施肥土壤微生物数量高于单施化肥处理.(3) 灰漠土自身过氧化氢酶含量较高,蔗糖酶次之.土壤4种酶活性中除过氧化氢酶与土壤养分之间呈负相关以外,其余3种酶活性与土壤速效养分均呈正相关或显著正相关.长期单施化肥土壤脲酶、磷酸酶活性降低,长期不施肥土壤脲酶、磷酸酶活性高于单施化肥处理,化肥配施有机肥或秸秆的土壤脲酶、蔗糖酶、磷酸酶活性比长期不施肥增加了24%~31%.因此,化肥配施有机物料增加了土壤酶活性,加速了土壤熟化,改变了土壤生态环境.  相似文献

We studied the phylogenetic relationships among the three stone pine species, Pinus cembra, P. sibirica, and P. pumila, using chloroplast microsatellites and mitochondrial nad1 intron 2 sequences. The three chloroplast microsatellite loci combined into a total of 18 haplotypes. Fourteen haplotypes were detected in 15 populations of P. cembra and one population of P. sibirica, five of which were shared between the two species, and the two populations of P. pumila comprised four species-specific haplotypes. Mitochondrial intron sequences confirmed this grouping of species. Sequences of P. cembra and P. sibirica were identical, but P. pumila differed by several nucleotide substitutions and insertions/deletions. A repeat region found in the former two species showed no intraspecific variation. These results indicate a relatively recent evolutionary separation of P. cembra and P. sibirica, despite their currently disjunct distributions. The species-specific chloroplast and mitochondrial markers of P. sibirica and P. pumila should help to trace the hybridization in their overlapping distribution area and to identify fossil remains with respect to the still unresolved postglacial re-colonization history of these two species.  相似文献

Copper strongly inhibited 2,6-dichloroindophenol (DCIP) photoreduction in the broken cells of the green alga Ankistrodesmus falcatus (C303), and the activity lost could not be restored by adding 1,5-diphenylearbazide (DPC). Inactivation of the DCIP Hill reaction reached 45% after incubation with 10 μM cupric sulfate for 20 min. In the same time, copper (13 μg/mg chlorophyll) was bound to the broken cells. Addition of 10 mM KCl reduced copper binding by about 53%. Fluorescence intensity at room temperature decreased upon addition of cupric sulfate and was partially restored by adding 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea (DCMU), These results suggest that copper inactivates electron transport between the oxidizing side of the reaction center of photosystem II and the electron-donating site of DPC. Further, the effect of light intensity shows that copper mostly affected the reaction rate of the dark step and had less inhibitory effect on the quantum efficiency of the primary reaction of electron transport in photosystem II.  相似文献

To estimate the susceptibility of conifer seedlings to aphids under future tropospheric ozone levels, Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) and Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) seedlings were exposed to ambient and elevated ozone levels in an open-air exposure system. Growth and reproduction of the aphids Schizolachnus pineti and Cinara pinea on Scots pine and Cinara pilicornis on Norway spruce were monitored. Levels of free amino acids in foliage and young shoots were used as indicators of host plant quality. In elevated treatment plots the ozone doses were between 1.2 and 1.7 times the dose in ambient plots in 1990–93. Half of the seedling material in 1992–93 was subjected to nitrogen fertilization treatment to evaluate the effects of increased N deposition. In 1990, population density of S. pineti on pine did not differ between ambient and elevated ozone treatments during growing season, but remained higher in the elevated ozone plot than in the ambient plot at the end of the growing season. This was associated with elevated levels of glutamic acid in foliage. In August 1992, the numbers of S. pineti were consistent between the two ambient ozone plots, but deviated highly between the two ozone-fumigated plots. Glycine concentration in pine foliage was elevated by ozone, but free amino acid concentrations were not related to aphid performance. In 1993, ozone and nitrogen did not significantly affect the relative growth rate (RGR) of S. pineti or C. pinea nymphs on Scots pine, but glutamic acid concentration in foliage was increased by nitrogen fertilization. On Norway spruce, fecundity of C. pilicornis females was higher in elevated ozone treatment, but RGR of nymphs was not affected in 1992. In 1993, RGR of C. pilicornis nymphs was increased by nitrogen fertilization in June, but not affected by ozone. Nitrogen fertilization increased the levels of total free amino acids, aspartic acid, glutamic acid and proline in elongating shoots of Norway spruce, and ozone reduced the concentrations of valine and γ-butyric acid. Our results suggest that availability of nitrogen from soil has a stronger impact on the concentrations of free amino acids in conifer seedlings than ozone. Some episodes of high ozone concentration may increase free amino acids in foliage. Aphid response to ozone was extremely variable, in agreement with previous laboratory experiments. The expected 20–70% increase in ambient concentrations of tropospheric ozone may in some occasions enhance aphid performance on Scots pine and Norway spruce seedlings, but in most cases the ozone effect on the susceptibility of conifer seedlings to sucking insect pests is not important.  相似文献

利用全林木定位和单木竞争指数模型, 以受到林火干扰的樟子松林为例,分析了呼伦贝尔沙地樟子松林的竞争强度.结果表明:同一样地中,死亡林木的竞争强度均比较接近;活立木、全部林木中,伴生树种的竞争强度是樟子松的2~3倍;樟子松的竞争压力主要来自于种内,伴生树种的竞争则主要来自于种间.林火干扰与无林火(对照)样地间的比较表明,林火干扰样地樟子松活立木的竞争强度均显著小于对照样地;活立木竞争强度与其胸径间均服从幂函数关系(CI=AD-B).地表火干扰可显著降低林木个体间的竞争强度,有利于存活林木个体的生长发育和大径阶林木的培育.  相似文献

以1年生桢楠(Phoebe zhennan)幼苗为材料,采用盆栽试验方法,选用氮肥(NF)、复合肥(CF)、有机肥(OF)和混合肥(MF)4种肥料,依据年施氮量为标准设置低(L,0.3g/桶)、中(M,0.6g/桶)、高(H,0.9g/桶)3个施肥水平,于5、7、9月分3次将各肥料平均施入各栽植桶中,考察施肥1个月后桢楠幼苗的形态和光合生理指标,探讨施肥对桢楠幼苗光合生理及生长特性的影响。结果显示:(1)3个施肥水平中,中氮水平(M)对桢楠幼苗的生长促进效应最大;各种肥料中又以CF肥效最差,NF的肥效仅在初期(5~6月)比较明显,施MF的后期(9~10月)养分供应相对不足,而OF能持续地为植株提供养分。(2)施肥可以促进桢楠幼苗叶片叶绿素合成,延长绿叶功能期,并增大净光合速率,其中OF和MF的效果更明显,且有效地提高了幼苗在强光照、高浓度CO2环境下的光合能力。(3)除CF以外,施其他3种肥料均能不同程度地增加桢楠幼苗苗高及地径生长量,且以中氮水平的有机肥(MOF)促进效应最大,其生长量可以达到对照(CK,不施肥)的2倍。综上可知,中氮量有机肥是桢楠幼苗的最佳肥料施用方式。  相似文献

水和肥是促进毛白杨速生高产的两大重要因素,研究水肥耦合效应对毛白杨苗木的生物量影响具有重要的现实意义.本文以毛白杨杂种无性系87号嫁接苗为试材,采用水、氮、磷三因素五水平二次回归通用旋转组合设计,于2008年3-10月在北京林业大学苗圃进行盆栽试验,研究了不同水肥耦合水平对毛白杨苗木生物量的影响,并建立了毛白杨生物量的水肥耦合回归模型.结果表明: 土壤水分是影响毛白杨生物量的主要因素,其次为氮肥和磷肥.随着三者投入量的增加,毛白杨生物量增加;当三者增加到一定程度时,继续投入则使其生物量下降.土壤水分与氮肥交互作用显著,且有较好的正效应;而氮肥与磷肥、土壤水分与磷肥交互作用不明显.经模型寻优,水肥调控的最佳组合为: 土壤水分控制在田间持水量的73.37%,氮肥和磷肥的施用量分别为4.14 和1.41 g·plant-1;此时的毛白杨苗木生物量达到68.30 g·plant-1.  相似文献

An experimental technique was used to separate and evaluate the magnitude of allelopathic interference relative to resource competition by the boreal dwarf shrub Empetrum hermaphroditum Hagerup (Empetraceae). To test for resource competition and allelopathy, respectively, Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) seedlings were grown in both the greenhouse and in the field over a 3 year period, in four different treatments within E. hermaphroditum vegetation: (1) PVC tubes were used to reduce effects of interspecific below-ground competition; (2) activated carbon was spread on the soil to adsorb toxins leached from E. hermaphroditum litter and green leaves, thus reducing effects of allelopathic interference; (3) E. hermaphroditum vegetation was left untreated to evaluate inhibiting effects when both allelopathy and resource competition were present; (4) PVC tubes, placed in E. hermaphroditum vegetation spread with activated carbon were used to determine growth of seedlings when both allelopathy and resource competition were reduced. Scots pine seedlings grown in untreated vegetation (with both root competition and allelopathy present) had the lowest shoot length and dry weight; seedlings with both allelopathy and root competition reduced (activated carbon in tube) were the largest. Reducing either root competition alone (tube treatment) or allelopathy alone (carbon treatment) produced seedlings of intermediate size, but reduced competition had a greater effect than reduced allelopathy (although, in the greenhouse, significantly so only for root biomass). In the greenhouse experiment, biomass production of seedlings grown free of both interactions (carbon in tube) was greater than the simple sum of the growth response to the individual interactions (tube treatment and carbon treatment, respectively). Larger shoot:root ratios were also found when pine seedlings were grown without tubes (i.e. when resource competition was occurring). In the field, the removal of allelopathy (carbon treatments) increased shoot:root ratio when compared to the removal of resource competition. The study showed that two different interference mechanisms of E. hermaphroditum can be separated and quantified, and that below-ground competition and allelopathy by E. hermaphroditum are both important factors retarding growth of Scots pine.  相似文献

The effects of different fertilization regimes on root growth characteristics, nutrient uptake and biomass production of Japanese larch (Larix kampferi Sarg.) and its hybrid larch (L. gmelinii × L. kampferi) seedlings were examined for one growing season. Seedlings were raised in the greenhouse under three fertilizer levels (10, 20, 40 mg N seedling–1 season–1) and two delivery schedules, conventional (C) and exponential (E) for 12 weeks. Root growth, biomass allocation and nutrient loading capacity of seedlings were measured for a 3-week interval. By the end of growing season, seedlings fertilized with low dose conventionally (10C) and exponentially (10E) developed relatively longer root and larger root surface areas than those fertilized at high dose exponential loading (40E). At final harvest, the 40E treated Japanese larch had 134% and 155% more shoot mass as compared with those raised under 20E and 10E treated seedlings, respectively. The seedlings fertilized under 10C and 10E showed a high root mass ratio, while 40E treated seedlings showed a low root mass ratio. These data indicated that different nutrient levels (10 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg) strongly affected root growth characteristics. The same seasonal dose (10 mg) applied exponentially (10E) accumulated more N in seedlings compared to the 10C treatment. Exponential fertilization enhanced an increase in N concentration of the whole plant suggesting exponential delivery schedule is an efficient fertilization technique for greater nutrient uptake of plants. In contrast, N concentration of whole plant was declined for seedlings treated with conventional fertilization due to growth dilution. Late in the growing season, seedlings raised under 40E did not significantly improved dry mass production of root, but nutrient accumulation increased without a concomitant increased in root dry mass production. The result suggests that seedlings fertilized exponentially at medium and high dose rates (20E and 40E) induced luxury nutrient consumption within the plant.  相似文献

Summary The effects of competition on the growth of families of loblolly pine (Pinus taeda, L.) seedlings were investigated. The experimental design made it possible to evaluate the effects of crowding on growth and to determine the types and magnitudes of intergenotypic interactions among pairs of families. The results showed that intergenotypic interactions were both highly variable and pronounced in their effect on early growth. Evidence was also found for precompetition cooperating interactions occurring among seedlings surrounded by neighbors of the same family.  相似文献

采用静态箱法研究了控释肥料和常规肥料处理对华南赤红壤发育的稻田N2O排放的影响.结果表明,施用控释肥处理与非包膜复合肥处理,在水稻移栽后10d内水层中NH4^+-N和NO3^--N浓度问差异达极显著水平,各处理水层中NO3^--N浓度与2d后或当天N2O排放量间的偏相关系数达极显著水平.包膜型控释肥比未包膜复合肥能极显著地降低稻田N2O的排放量.在施肥后100d内,控释肥的N2O累积排放量仅为未包膜型复合肥料的13.45%~21.26%,是尿素处理的71.17%~112.47%.复合肥处理的N2O排放主要集中在施肥后1~25d和水稻晒田期间,控释肥在此时期的排放量显著降低,尿素处理则延缓并减小了N2O排放峰.控释肥一次施用和尿素分次施用都能减少N2O排放.  相似文献
