Minor diterpenes from Persea indica: their antifeedant activity   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The new diterpenes anhydrocinnzeylanone, garajonone and 2,3-didehydrocinnzeylanone, and the known anhydrocinnzeylanine, have been isolated from Persea indica. The antifeedant activity of these compounds has been evaluated showing the importance of the 11-hemiketal group for the antifeedant effects of ryanodane diterpenes.  相似文献

Two new diterpenes have been isolated from Sideritis sicula: sideripol, ent-18-acetoxy-7α-hydroxykaur-15-ene and epoxysideritriol, ent-15β,16β-epoxykauran-7α,17,18-triol. Two clerodane-type diterpene glycosides esters, which were studied as peracetyl derivatives, together with the known diterpene marrubiagenine, were isolated from the aerial part of Baccharis sagittalis (Less). Their structures were established by spectroscopic methods. Antifeedant activity toward Tenebrio molitor larvae of the isolated compounds along with six other diterpenes was evaluated and some structure-antifeedant bioactivity relationships are reported.  相似文献

Four new diterpenes have been isolated from Sideritis serata: lagascol (4, ent-8,5-friedopimar-5-ene-15S,16-diol), tobarrol (8, ent-15-beyerene-12α,17-diol), benuol (12, ent-15-beyerene-7α,17-diol) and serradiol (18, ent-16R-atis-13-ene-16,17-diol). The previously known diterpenes lagascatriol (1, ent-8,5-friedopimar-5-ene-11β,15S,16-triol), jativatriol (2, ent-15-beyerene-1β,12α,17-triol), conchitriol (3, ent-15-beyerene-7α,12α,17-triol) and sideritol (17, ent-16R-atis-13-ene-1β,16,17-triol) have also been obtained from the same source.  相似文献

A comprehensive compilation of all test results on the insect antifeedant activity of clerodane diterpenes and related model compounds is reported. To increase the compatibility of data from different sources, some of the results reported in the literature have been converted into a standardized form. The compounds were sorted into groups according to the different types of sidechain attached to C-9. Despite the wealth of information, collected in 15 tables, it remains difficult to assign importance to separate structural elements in relation to the observed antifeedant activity. A detailed analysis of the structure-activity relationships could not be presented, but some interesting trends can be distinguished based on the structures of the strongest antifeedants. The investigation of Aristolochia brasiliensis and A. esperanzae afforded 12 clerodane derivatives, including the following six novel ones: rel (5S, 8R, 9S, 10R)-2-oxo-ent-3-cleroden-15-oic acid, rel (5S, 8R, 9S, 10R)-2-oxo-ent-clerod-3,13-dien-15-oic acid methyl ester, (5R, 8R, 9S, 10R)-ent-3-cleroden-15-oic acid, rel (5S, 8R, 9S, 10R)-ent-clerod-3,13-dien-15-oic acid, (2S, 5R, 8R, 9S, 10R)-2-hydroperoxy-ent-3-cleroden-15-oic acid methyl ester and (2S, 5R, 8R, 9S, 10R)-2-hydroperoxy-ent-clerod-3,13-dien-15-oic acid methyl ester. The structures were assigned on the basis of spectral data and derivatization by chemical reactions. The occurrence of this type of diterpene has not previously been reported in Aristolochiaceae.  相似文献

The characteristic pungency of the liverworts Plagiochila species P. fruticosa, P. hattoriana, P. ovalifolia and P. yokogurensis is due to a new ent-secoaromadendrane-type sesquiterpene hemiacetal, plagiochiline A, which exhibits very strong antifeedant activity against the African army worm, Spodoptera exempta at 1–10ng/cm2. Two new secoaromadendranes, plagiochilide and furanoplagiochilal A, together with the previously known plagiochiline C were isolated from P. yokogurensis. Plagiochilal A, which may be a precursor of plagiochilide and its related hemiacetals, and a bitter principle, plagiochiline B were also isolated from P. hattoriana. P. ovalifolia contained plagiochilines A, B and C. From P. fruticosa, plagiochilide and plagiochilines A, B and C were isolated. The structures of the new secoaromadendrane-type sesquiterpenes were elucidated by extensive 1H NMR and 13CNMR studies.  相似文献

Ryanodane diterpenes, named 14-O-methyl-ryanodanol and ryanodanol, were isolated from ripe fruit of Erythroxylum passerinum. Compound 2 was also found in the leaves of this species, while 1 was obtained from the leaves of E. nummularia. Compound 1 showed insecticidal activity against Aedes aegypti larvae.  相似文献

The phytochemical content of the Mediterranean species of the Sideritis genus has been reviewed. The components included in this review are monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, diterpenes, triterpenes, sterols, flavones, coumarins and phenylpropanoids. From the chemotaxonomic point of view, we have divided the species from this region into four groups. The first of this is formed by taxa containing triterpenes, but not diterpenes. A second group is constituted by species having bicyclic diterpenes of the labdane type and not diterpenes. The third group is characterized by its content in tetracyclic diterpenes of the ent-kaurene type. A fourth group is composed of plants with tetracyclic diterpenes of the ent-beyer-15-ene and/or ent-atis-13-ene class. In addition, the relations of these Mediterranean species with those of the Macaronesian region have been examined.  相似文献

Five flavonoid glycosides, 4'-O-methylisoscutellarein 7-O-[6"'-acetylallopyranosyl(1----2)glucopyranoside], 4'-O-methylisoscutellarein 7-O-allopyranosyl(1----2)glucopyranoside, 3'-hydroxy-4'-O-methylisoscutellarein 7-O-[6"'-acetylallopyranosyl(1----2) glucopyranoside], and hypolaetin-8-glucoside have been isolated from Sideritis javalambrensis aerial parts and identified by standard methods. These glycosides have been tested for their antioxidant properties alongside other 7,8-substituted flavonoids using FeSO4/cysteine-induced microsomal lipid peroxidation. Superoxide scavenging activity was assessed in the nitroblue tetrazolium test. Among this series of flavonoids, hypolaetin-8-glucoside is the most potent inhibitor of nonenzymic lipid peroxidation. The antiperoxidative activity of these flavonoids may be related to their superoxide scavenging ability.  相似文献

The investigation of five Espeletiopsis and two Coespeletia species afforded, in addition to numerous known compounds, two new kaurene derivatives 19-acetoxy-ent-kaurene and 17-oxo-ent-kaur- 15-en-19-oic acid, as well as two new tricyclic sesquiterpenes, one being the previously reported oxidation product of copaborneol and the second one the 5-oxo derivative of silphiperfol-6-ene. The pyrrolizidine alkaloid (PA) content of flowers, leaves, and roots of Anchusa strigosa (Boraginaceae) was analysed by ESI-LC-MS. Six PAs, including two new natural compounds, were detected, characterized by NMR spectroscopy, and quantified in each plant organ. The results indicated that the highest total concentration of PAs was in the leaves (23.63 mg/g of dried part), followed by the flowers (19.77 mg/g), and finally by the roots (1.80 mg/g). All PAs isolated were subjected to Spodoptera exigua and Pieris brassicae larvae. Feeding activity by both herbivore species using a bioassay was inhibited up to circa 75% depending on PA and applied concentration.  相似文献

The investigation of nine Baccharis species afforded, in addition to known compounds, three new clerodane derivatives related to bacchotricuneatin B, two ent-labdane derivatives, two 3-acetoxyflavanones, a benzofuran derivative and a chromene.
