Palladium(II) and platinum(II) complexes with N-alkylpyridylpyrazole-derived ligands, 2-(1-ethyl-5-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine (L1) and 2-(1-octyl-5-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine (L2), cis-[MCl2(L)] (M = Pd(II), Pt(II)), have been synthesised. Treatment of [PdCl2(L)] (L = L1, L2) with excess of ligand (L1, L2), pyridine (py) or triphenylphosphine (PPh3) in the presence of AgBF4 and NaBPh4 produced the following complexes: [Pd(L)2](BPh4)2, [Pd(L)(py)2](BPh4)2 and [Pd(L)(PPh3)2](BPh4)2. All complexes have been characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity, IR and NMR spectroscopies. The crystal structures of cis-[PdCl2(L2)] (2) and cis-[PtCl2(L1)] (3) were determined by a single crystal X-ray diffraction method. In both complexes, the metal atom is coordinated by one pyrazole nitrogen, one pyridine nitrogen and two chlorine atoms in a distorted square-planar geometry. In complex 3, π-π stacking between pairs of molecules is observed.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of the ligand bis[2-(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)ethyl]ether (L1) was tested in front of Pd(II) and Pt(II). Complexes cis-[MCl2(L1)] (M=Pd(II) and Pt(II)) were obtained, due to the chelate condition of the ligand and the formation of a stable 10-membered ring. The crystal structure of cis-[PtCl2(L1)] was resolved by X-ray diffraction. Treatment of [PdCl2(L1)] or [Pd(CH3CN)4](BF4)2 with AgBF4 in the presence of L1 gave the complex [Pd(L1)2](BF4)2. The initial cis-[PdCl2(L1)] was recovered by reacting [Pd(L1)2](BF4)2 with an excess of NEt4Cl. Reaction of [Pt(CH3CN)4](BF4)2 (generated in situ from [PtCl2(CH3CN)2] and AgBF4 in acetonitrile) with ligand L1 yields complex [Pt(L1)2](BF4)2.  相似文献

Palladium [PdCl2(L)] complexes with N-alkylpyridylpyrazole derived ligands [2-(5-trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine (L1), 2-(1-ethyl-5-trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine (L2), 2-(1-octyl-5-trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine (L3), and 2-(3-pyridin-2-yl-5-trifluoromethyl-pyrazol-1-yl)ethanol (L4) were synthesised. The crystal and molecular structures of [PdCl2(L)] (L = L2, L3, L4) were resolved by X-ray diffraction, and consist of monomeric cis-[PdCl2(L)] molecules. The palladium centre has a typical square-planar geometry, with a slight tetrahedral distortion. The tetra-coordinate metal atom is bonded to one pyridinic nitrogen, one pyrazolic nitrogen and two chlorine ligands in cis disposition. Reaction of L (L2, L4) with [Pd(CH3CN)4](BF4)2, in the ratio 1M:2L, gave complexes [Pd(L)]2(BF4)2. Treatment of [PdCl2(L)] (L = L2, L4) with NaBF4 and pyridine (py) and treatment of the same complexes with AgBF4 and triphenylphosphine (PPh3) yielded [Pd(L)(py)2](BF4)2 and [Pd(L)(PPh3)2](BF4)2 complexes, respectively. Finally, reaction of [PdCl2(L4)] with 1 equiv of AgBF4 yields [PdCl(L4)](BF4).  相似文献

Reaction of the ligands 3-phenyl-5-(2-pyridyl)pyrazole (HL1), 3,5-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazole (HL2), 3-methyl-5-(2-pyridyl)pyrazole (HL3) and 3-methyl-5-phenylpyrazole (HL4) with [MCl2(CH3CN)2] (M = Pd(II), Pt(II)) or [PdCl2(cod)] gives complexes with stoichiometry [PdCl2(HL)2] (HL = HL1, HL2, HL3), [Pt(L)2] (L = L1, L2, L3) and [MCl2(HL4)2] (M = Pd(II), Pt(II)). The new complexes were characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, infrared and 1H NMR spectroscopies. The crystal and molecular structure of [PdCl2(HL1)] was resolved by X-ray diffraction, and consists of monomeric cis-[PdCl2(HL1)] molecules. The palladium centre has a typical square planar geometry, with a slight tetrahedral distortion. The tetra-coordinated metal atom is bonded to one pyridine nitrogen, one pyrazolic nitrogen and two chloro ligands in a cis disposition. The ligand HL1 is not completely planar.  相似文献

Tetrachloroauric acid HAuCl4 reacts with the ionic liquid 1-(2-aminoethyl)-3-methylimidazolium nitrate [NH2(CH2)2ImMe]NO3, (2b) or its dicationic ammonium salt [NH3(CH2)2ImMe][NO3]2, (3) in methanolic solutions to give the novel gold(III)-aminoethyl imidazolium aurate salt [Cl3AuNH2(CH2)2ImMe][AuCl4] (4). The reaction of 4 with [nBu4]Cl gives [NH2(CH2)2ImMe][AuCl4] (2c) whereas with acetone the dicationic, iminium-functionalized, imidazolium aurate salt [Me2C=N(H)(CH2)2ImMe][AuCl4]2 (5) has been isolated. The structures in the solid state of 2c, 3, 4, and 5 have been determined by X-ray diffraction. The electrochemical behaviour of 4 has been examined by Cyclic voltammetry in acetonitrile and compared with 2c and KAuCl4.  相似文献

Schiff bases of 2-hydroxybenzophenone (HBP) (C6H5)(2-HOC6H4)CN(CH2)nEAr (L1/L2: E = S, Ar = Ph, n = 2/3; L3/L4: E = Se, Ar = Ph, n = 2/3; L5/L6: E = Te, Ar = 4-MeOC6H4, n = 2/3) and their complexes [PdCl(L-H)] (L = L1L6; 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 11), [PtCl(L3-H/L5-H)] (4/8), [PtCl2(L4/L6)2] (6/12), [(p-cymene)RuCl(L5/L6)]Cl (9/13) and [HgBr2(L5/L6)2] (10/14) have been synthesized and characterized by proton, carbon-13, selenium-77 and tellurium-125 NMR, IR and mass spectra. Single crystal structures of L1, 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7 were solved. The Pd-E bond distances (Å): 2.2563(6) (E = S), 2.3575(6)−2.392(2) (E = Se); 2.5117(5)−2.5198(5) (E = Te) are near the lower end of the bond length range known for them. The Pt-Se bond length, 2.3470(8) Å, is also closer to the short values reported so far. The Heck and Suzuki reaction were carried out using complexes 1, 3, 5 and 7 as catalysts under aerobic condition. The percentage yields for trans product in Heck reaction were found upto 85%.  相似文献

Reactions of ligands 1-ethyl-5-methyl-3-phenyl-1H-pyrazole (L1) and 5-methyl-1-octyl-3-phenyl-1H-pyrazole (L2) with [PdCl2(CH3CN)2 and K2PtCl4 gave complexes trans-[MCl2(L)2] (L = L1, L2). The new complexes were characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, infrared, 1H and 13C{1H} NMR spectroscopies and X-ray diffraction. The NMR study of the complex [PdCl2(L1)2], in CDCl3 solution, is consistent with a very slow rotation of ligands around the Pd-N bond, so that two conformational isomers can be observed in solution (syn and anti). Different behaviour is observed for complexes [PdCl2(L2)2] and [PtCl2(L)2] (L = L1, L2), which present an isomer in solution at room temperature (anti). The crystal structure of [PdCl2(L1)2] complex is described, where the Pd(II) presents a square planar geometry with the ligands coordinated in a trans disposition.  相似文献

Two new pyrazole-derived ligands, 1-ethyl-3,5-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazole (L1) and 1-octyl-3,5-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazole (L2), both containing alkyl groups at position 1 were prepared by reaction between 3,5-bis(2-pyridyl) pyrazole and the appropriate bromoalkane in toluene using sodium ethoxide as base. The reaction between L1, L2 and [MCl2(CH3CN)2] (M = Pd(II), Pt(II)) resulted in the formation complexes of formula [MCl2(L)] (M = Pd(II), L = L1 (1); M = Pd(II), L = L2 (2); M = Pt(II), L = L1 (3); M = Pt(II), L = L2 (4)). These complexes were characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, infrared, 1H, 13C{1H} NMR and HMQC spectroscopies. The X-ray structure of the complex [PtCl2(L2)] (4) was determined. In this complex, Npyridine and Npyrazole donor atoms coordinate the ligand to the metal, which complete its coordination with two chloro ligands in a cis disposition.  相似文献

Hexaaquarhodium(III) perchlorate has been found to be an interesting starting material for the preparation of rhodium compounds. New mononuclear hydrido- and carbonylrhodium compounds with bis(benzimidazol-2-ylmethyl)methylamine (L) and PPh3 of the type [Rh(H)L(PPh3)2](ClO4)2 (1) and [Rh(CO)L(PPh3)2](ClO4) (2) have been synthesized. The monomeric Rh(II) compound was identified as an intermediate. Complexes 1 and 2 were characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry and IR, and NMR spectroscopies. The fluxional behaviour of 2 was studied by variable-temperature 1H and 31P{H} NMR experiments.  相似文献

The ruthenium complexes [RuII(bbp)(L)(Cl)] (1), [RuII(bbp)(L)(H2O)] (2) and [RuII(bbp)(L)(DMSO)] (3) {bbp = 2,6-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)pyridine, L = o-iminoquinone} have been synthesized in a stepwise manner starting from [RuIII(bbp)Cl3]. The single crystal X-ray structures, except for the complex 2, have been determined. All the complexes were characterized by UV-Vis, FT-IR, 1H NMR, Mass spectroscopic techniques and cyclic voltammetry. The RuIII/RuII couple for complexes 1, 2, and 3 appears at 0.63, 0.49, 0.55 V, respectively versus SCE. It is observed that complex 2, on refluxing in acetonitrile, results into [RuII(bbp)(L)(CH3CN)], 4 which has been prepared earlier in a different method. The structural, spectral and electrochemical properties of complexes 1, 2 and 3 were compared to those of earlier reported complex 4, [RuII(bbp)(L)(CH3CN)].  相似文献

The first chiral bis(pyridine) N-C(H)-N pincer ligand, (5S,7S)-1,3-bis(6,6-dimethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-5,7-methanquinolin-2-yl)benzene (HL) has been synthesized and characterized by a thorough 1H NMR analysis. Reaction of HL with K2[PtCl4] in acetic acid gives [Pt(L)Cl] (1), where L acts as a tridentate N-C-N pincer ligand. The analogous palladium(II) derivatives [Pd(L)Cl] (2), and [Pd(L)(OAc)] (3), were first prepared through a transmetalation reaction between Pd(OAc)2 and the organomercury compound [Hg(L)Cl] (4). The structures of compounds 1 (Pt) and 2 (Pd), as determined by X-ray diffraction, are reported and compared. Compound 2 can also be obtained from Na2[PdCl4] and HL in refluxing acetic acid, i.e., under the same conditions used for compound 1. Apparently, this is the first palladium pincer derivative of a 1,3-bis(pyridyl)benzene ligand synthesized by direct C-H activation. The neutral complexes 1-3 are catalysts of modest activity, but devoid of enantioselectivity in the Heck reaction between iodobenzene and methyl acrylate and in the aldol condensation of benzaldehyde with methyl isocyanoacetate.  相似文献

The chloro complexes [PtCl2(RSR′)2] (1-10) (RSR′ = MeSCH2C(O)OMe, 1; MeSCH2C(O)OEt, 2; MeSCH2C(O)Omenthyl(−), 3; MeSCH2CH2C(O)OMe, 4; , 5; EtSCH2C(O)Me, 6; MeSCH(Me)C(O)Me, 7; MeSPh, 8; MeS-o-C6H4Me, 9; and MeS-o-C6H4Et, 10) are obtained in high yield (63-90%) by reaction of [PtCl2(PhCN)2] with the proper thioether in 1/2 molar ratio, in anhydrous chloroform, at reflux under argon for ca. 10 h. The X-ray crystal structure of [PtCl2(MeS-o-C6H4Me)2] (9) shows an almost regular trans square planar geometry (triclinic, space group , a 6.806(1), b 7.789(2), c 10.085(3) Å, α 101.80(2)°, β 69.55(2)°, γ 115.27(2)°, R(Fo) 0.023, ). The dichloro complexes react with silver acetate in a complex manner, which depends on the nature of the thioether, and only with RSR′ = MeSPh the simple diacetato complex [Pt(OAc)2(RSR′)2] is obtained as the major product.  相似文献

Six new complexes, [Cu4I4(PPh2Cy)4]·2H2O (1), [CuI(PPhCy2)2] (2), [CuCl(PPhCy2)2] (3), and [CuBr(PPh3)3]·CH3CN (4), [Ag(PPhCy2)2(NO3)] (5), [Ag(PCy3)(NO3)]2 (6) [where Ph = phenyl, Cy = cyclohexyl], have been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction, IR absorption spectra and NMR spectroscopic studies (except complex 4). The X-ray diffraction analysis of complex (1), pseudo polymorph of complex [Cu4I4(PPh2Cy)4], reveals a stella quadrangula structure. The four corners of the cube are occupied by copper(I) atoms and four I atoms are present at the alternative corners of the cube, further more the copper(I) atoms are coordinated to a monodentate tertiary phosphine. Complexes (2) and (3) are isostructural with trigonal planar geometry around the copper(I) atom. The crystal structure of complex (4) is a pseudo polymorph of complex [CuBr(PPh3)3] and the geometrical environment around the copper(I) centre is distorted tetrahedral. In the AgI complexes (5) and (6), the central metal atoms have pseudo tetrahedral and trigonal planar geometry, respectively. Spectroscopic and microanalysis results are consistent with the single crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

Two Hg(II) complexes [HgL′(ClO4)2] (1) and [HgL(ClO4)]ClO4 (2) derived from the macrocyclic ligands, 4-(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)-1,7-dithia-4,10-diazacyclododecane (L′) and 7-(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)-1,4,10-trithia-7,13-diazacyclopentadecane (L), have been crystallographically characterised. Ligand L and its Hg(II) complex were isolated unexpectedly, and a possible formation pathway of the ligand is proposed. By including weakly bound O atoms from the perchlorate ions, the Hg atoms in both complexes are seven-coordinate and possess capped trigonal prismatic geometries. These uncommon structures for Hg(II) complexes were achieved mainly by the relatively large size of the metal ion and the steric effect from the macrocycles. In both complexes, strong hydrogen bonding between the amine hydrogen atom and a perchlorate ion was observed. For complex 1, the interaction is N(3)-H(15)···O(8) at 2.08(12) Å where O(8) is of the same anion as one of the coordinated O atoms; in complex 2, a similar hydrogen bond, N(7)-H(7)···O(32), with a distance of 2.25 Å, is formed to the coordinated anion, but the second anion remains discrete.  相似文献

The synthesis of the diruthenium(II) compounds [Ru2(μ-O2CR)4(MeOH)2] [R = Me (1), Ph (2), CMePh2 (3) C6H4-p-OMe (4), C6H4-p-CMe3 (5)] by reaction of with hydroquinone, under a nitrogen atmosphere, in the presence of a base is described. This reaction constitutes an easy via to the preparation of diruthenium(II) compounds. The structure of the complexes [Ru2(μ-O2CMe)4(MeOH)2] (1) and [Ru2(μ-O2CPh)4(thf)2] (2b) is established by single crystal X-ray diffraction. These compounds show a diruthenium(II) unit bridged by four carboxylate ligands with the axial positions occupied by methanol and tetrahydrofuran molecules for 1 and 2b, respectively. Complex 1 shows, in the solid state, polymeric chains in which the molecules [Ru2(μ-O2CMe)4(MeOH)2] are linked by hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

In this paper, two di-substituted triazine-based ligands, 6-chloro-N,N,NN′-tetrakis-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-[1,3,5]triazine-2,4-diamine (L1), and 6-chloro-N,N′-bis-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-N,N′-bis-thiophen-2-ylmethyl-[1,3,5]triazine-2,4-diamine (L2), have been prepared. Reaction of CuCl2·2H2O and Cu(NO3)2·3H2O with L1 and L2 results in the formation of [Cu2Cl4(L1)]·3MeOH (compound 1), [Cu4(NO3)8(L1)2]·2.07CH2Cl2·0.93MeOH (compound 2), [Cu2Cl4(L2)2] (compound 3) and [Cu(NO3)2(L2)]·CH2Cl2 (compound 4), respectively, which have been fully characterized and determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography, FT-IR, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric measurement and magnetic susceptibility. The dinuclear compound 1 shows strong π-π interactions between the neighboring pyridine rings. The nitrate-π (1,3,5-triazine ring) interaction with the distance of 2.755 Å in compound 2, is the closest contact reported so far. Compounds 3 and 4 are mononuclear copper(II) compounds, in which none of thiophene rings coordinates with copper(II) ion. In addition, the different orientations of two thiophene rings in compounds 3 and 4 lead to the π-π and CH2Cl2-π (thiophene ring) interactions in compound 4, but not in compound 3.  相似文献

The reaction of Cd(OAc)2 · 4H2O and 1-alkyl-2-(arylazo)imidazole [RaaiR′ where R = H (a), Me (b); R′ = Me (1/3/5), Et (2/4/6)] and NH4NCS/NaNCO in methanol in 1:2:2 mole ratio has afforded [Cd(RaaiR′)2(NCS)2] (34) and [Cd(RaaiR′)2(NCO)2] (56) complexes. The complexes are characterized by different physicochemical methods and in one case, the structure was confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction study for title compounds.  相似文献

Reactions of labile [MCl3(PPh3)2(NCMe)] (M = Tc, Re) precursors with 1H-benzoimidazole-2-thiol (H2L1), 5-methyl-1H-benzoimidazole-2-thiol (H2L2) and 1H-imidazole-2-thiol (H2L3), in the presence of PPh3 and [AsPh4]Cl gave a new series of trigonal bipyramidal M(III) complexes [AsPh4]{[M(PPh3)Cl(H2L1-3)3]Cl3} (M = Re, 1-3; M = Tc, 4-6). The molecular structures of 1 and 3 were determined by X-ray diffraction. When the reactions were carried out with benzothiazole-2-thiol (HL4) and benzoxazole-2-thiol (HL5), neutral paramagnetic monosubstituted M(III) complexes [M(PPh3)2Cl2(L4,5)] (M = Re, 8, 9; M = Tc, 10, 11) were obtained. In these compounds, the central metal ions adopt an octahedral coordination geometry as authenticated by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis of 8 and 11. Rhenium and technetium complexes 1, 4 and rhenium chelate compounds 8, 9 have been also synthesized by reduction of [MO4] with PPh3 and HCl in the presence of the appropriate ligand. All the complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, FTIR and NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Herein, we describe the synthesis of N,N′,S donor ligands 2-(1-(3,5-diisopropyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-3-(methythio)propyl)-4-methoxy-3,5-dimethylpyridine (L1) and 2-(1-(3,5-diisopropyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-2-(methythio)ethyl)-4-methoxy-3,5-dimethylpyridine (L2). Cu(I) complexes were prepared by reacting L1 or L2 with [Cu(CH3CN)4]BF4 or CuCl. The coordination behavior of the thioether arm of the ligands was found to determine the nuclearity of the resulting complexes, in which [Cu(L1)PPh3]BF4 (1) is polynuclear, [Cu(L2)PPh3]BF4 (2) is mononuclear, while [Cu(L1)]2(BF4)2 (3), [Cu(L2)CH3CN]2(BF4)2 (4), and [Cu(L1)Cl]2 (5) are dinuclear. In the dimeric complex [Cu(L2)Cl]2 (6), the sulfur atoms are not metal-bound. Rather, the two bridging chloride ions link the two copper centers. Compounds 4-6 are luminescent in the solid state, and exhibit emission bands centered at 490 nm (4), 544 nm (5), and 562 nm (6), respectively. Their excitation spectra display bands at 280 nm and 380 nm. According to DFT calculations, the HOMO is distributed partially over the metal centers and partially over the chloride anions (5 and 6) or the sulfur atoms (4) of the ligands, while the LUMO is a π∗ antibonding pyridine orbital. This suggests that the emission properties are derived from metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT), halide-to-ligand charge-transfer (XLCT), and ligand-to-ligand charge-transfer (LLCT) excited states.  相似文献

cis,trans-Fe(CO)2(PMe3)2(p-Y-C6H4)X [X=Br, Y=H (4a), MeO (4b), Cl (4c), F (4d), Me (4e); X=I, Y=H (5); X=Cl, Y=H (6)] and cis,trans-Fe(CO)2(PMe3)2(σ-CHCH2)X [X=Br (7); X=I (8); X=Cl (9)] are prepared by reacting dihalide complexes cis,trans,cis- Fe(CO)2(PMe3)2X2 [X=Br (1), X=I (2), X=Cl (3)] with Grignard reagents p-Y-C6H4-MgBr (Y=H, OMe, Cl, F, Me) or CH2CH-MgBr and with lithium reagents PhLi, CH2CH-Li. With both reagents, the reaction proceeds following two parallel pathways: one is the metallation reaction which yields alkyl derivatives, the other affords 17 electron complexes [Fe(CO)2(PMe3)2X] via monoelectron reductive elimination. The influence of the halides and organometallic reagents on the yield of the metallation reaction is discussed. The solution structure of the complexes is assigned on the basis of IR and 1H, 13C, 19F, 31P NMR spectra. The solid state structure of complexes 4a, 5 and 6 is determined by single crystal X-ray diffractometric methods.  相似文献
