The reaction of FcCOCl (Fc = (C5H5)Fe(C5H4)) with benzimidazole or imidazole in 1:1 ratio gives the ferrocenyl derivatives FcCO(benzim) (L1) or FcCO(im) (L2), respectively. Two molecules of L1 or L2 can replace two nitrile ligands in [Mo(η3-C3H5)(CO)2(CH3CN)2Br] or [Mo(η3- C5H5O)(CO)2(CH3CN)2Br] leading to the new trinuclear complexes [Mo(η3-C3H5)(CO)2(L)2Br] (C1 for L = L1; C3 for L = L2) and [Mo(η3-C5H5O)(CO)2(L)2Br] (C2 for L = L1; C4 for L = L2) with L1 and L2 acting as N-monodentade ligands. L1, L2 and C2 were characterized by X-ray diffraction studies. [Mo(η3-C5H5O)(CO)2(L1)2Br] was shown to be a trinuclear species, with the two L1 molecules occupying one equatorial and one axial position in the coordination sphere of Mo(II). Cyclic voltammetric studies were performed for the two ligands L1 and L2, as well as for their molybdenum complexes, and kinetic and thermodynamic data for the corresponding redox processes obtained. In agreement with the nature of the frontier orbitals obtained from DFT calculations, L1 and L2 exhibit one oxidation process at the Fe(II) center, while C1, C3, and C4 display another oxidation wave at lower potentials, associated with the oxidation of Mo(II).  相似文献

The ansa-titanocene complexes, [Ti{Me2Si(η5-C5Me4)(η5-C5H3R)}Cl2] (R = Me (5), iPr (6), tBu (7), SiMe3 (8)), were obtained from the reaction of Li2{Me2Si(C5Me4)(C5H3R)} (R = Me (1), iPr (2), tBu (3), SiMe3 (4)) with [TiCl4(THF)2], respectively. Compounds 5-8 have been tested as catalysts in the polymerization of ethylene and compared with the ansa-titanocene complexes [Ti{Me2Si(η5-C5H4)2}Cl2] and [Ti{Me2Si(η5-C5Me4)(η5-C5H4)}Cl2]. The resulting polyethylene showed molecular weights of about 200 000 g mol−1 and polydispersity values of approximately 3. In addition, the molecular structure of 6 has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

A series of water soluble compounds of general formula [{(η6-arene)Ru(HMP)Cl}], [η6-arene = η6-cymene (1), η6-HMB (2), η6-C6H6 (3); HMP = 5-hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)-4-pyrone] have been prepared by the reaction of [{(η6-arene) RuCl2}2] with HMP. The complexes 1 and 2 react with NaN3 to give in excellent yield tetra-azido complexes [{(η6-arene)Ru(μN3)N3}2] (arene = cymene 4, HMB = 5) but similar reaction of complex 3 with NaN3 yielded di-azdo complex [{(η6-C6H6)Ru(μN3)Cl}2] (6). Reaction of [{(η6-arene)Ru(μN3)Cl}2] with HMP in the presence of NaOMe resulted in the formation of azido complex [{(η6-arene)Ru(HMP)N3}]. Mono and dinuclear complexes [{(η6-arene)Ru(HMP)(L1)}]+ and [{(η6-arene)Ru(HMP)}2(μL2)]2+ were also prepared by the reaction of complexes 1 and 2 with the appropriate ligand, L1 or L2 in the presence of AgBF4 (L1 = PyCN, DMAP; L2 = 4,4′-bipy, pyrazine). The complexes are characterized on the basis of spectroscopic data and molecular structures of three representative compounds have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction study.  相似文献

One-dimensional lanthanide-ferrocenesuccinate polymeric complexes [M(η2-FcCOC2H4COO)(μ22-FcCOC2H4COO)2(H2O)2]n (Fc = (η5-C5H4)Fe(η5-C5H4), M = Pr, 1; Ce, 2; La, 3) have been synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The three polymers are isomorphous, in which each Ln(III) ion is 10-coordinated and connects with two water molecules and eight oxygen atoms from ferrocenesuccinate units in two kinds of coordination modes: bidentate-chelating mode and tridentate-bridging mode. The variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility in the temperature range 5-300 K for 1 and 2 shows that both of them display weak antiferromagnetic interaction. In addition, the redox and fluorescent properties have been investigated. The redox properties are different from the previous results of transition metal compounds containing ferrocenyl systems. Compared with sodium ferrocenesuccinate, polymers 1 and 3, the fluorescent intensities of 2 are markedly enhanced in the solid state.  相似文献

The cytotoxic effect of vanadocene dichloride (Cp2VCl2, 1) and its ring-substituted, (η5-C5H4Me)2VCl2 (2), (η5-C5Me5)2VCl2 (3), (η5-C5H4R)2VCl2 (4: R = MeOCH2CH2-, 5: R = 2-MeOC6H4CH2-, 6: R = 4-MeOC6H4CH2-) and ansa-bridged analogs Me2C(η5-C5H4)2VCl2 (7) and Me4C25-C5H4)2VCl2 (8) was investigated. Synthesis of two new methoxy-functionalized compounds (4 and 5) is described. They were characterized by spectroscopic methods and X-ray diffraction analysis. The cytotoxicity studies were performed with leukemic cells MOLT-4.  相似文献

[Rh(CO)2Cl]2 reacts with two mole equivalent of 2-acetylpyridine (a), 3-acetylpyridine (b) and 4-acetylpyridine (c) to afford chelate [Rh(CO)Cl(η2-N∩O)] (1a) and non-chelate [Rh(CO)2Cl(η1-N∼O)] (1b, 1c) complexes, where, N∩O = a, N∼O = b, c. Oxidative addition (OA) of 1a-1c with CH3I and C2H5I yields penta coordinate rhodium(III) complexes, [Rh(COR)ClI(η2-N∩O)] {R = -CH3 (2a); -C2H5 (3a)} and [Rh(COR)(CO)ClI(η1-N∼O)] {R = -CH3 (2b, 2c); -C2H5 (3b, 3c)}. Kinetic study for the reaction of 1a-1c with CH3I indicates a pseudo-first order reaction. The catalytic activity of 1a-1c for the carbonylation of methanol to acetic acid and its ester was evaluated at different initial CO pressures 5, 10 and 20 bar at ∼25 °C and higher turn over numbers (TON = 1581-1654) were obtained compared to commercial Monsanto’s species [Rh(CO)2I2] (TON = 1000) under the reaction conditions: temperature = 130 ± 1 °C, pressure = 15-32 bar, rpm = 450, time = 1 h and catalyst: substrate = 1: 1900.  相似文献

Using sodium 2-chloro-4-ferrocenylbenzoate as functional ligand, a mononuclear precursor complex [Cd(η2-OOCClH3C6Fc)2(H2O)3](CH3OH)2} P1 [Fc = (η5-C5H5)Fe(η5-C5H4)] was synthesized, which containing facile leaving groups. The substitution reactions of the precursor ferrocenyl carboxylate complex with basic N-containing ligands gave three 1-D polymers [Cd22-OOCClH3C6Fc)4(bix)]n1 [bix = 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene)], {[Cd22-OOCClH3C6Fc)3(η-OOCClH3C6Fc)(mbbbm)2](CH3OH)2}n2 [mbbbm = 1,3-bis(benzimidazole-1-ylmethyl)benzene] and [Cd(η2-OOCClH3C6Fc)2(pbbbm)]n3 [pbbbm = 1,4-bis(benzimidazole-1-ylmethyl)benzene]. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals that the 1-D chain structures of polymers 1-3 are bridged by bix, mpbbbm and pbbbm, respectively, and the three polymers present some differences in their structures. Our results also show that the structural integrity of the precursor complex can be maintained in the resultant polymers. Electrochemical studies of the four complexes in THF/CH3OH solution indicate that the half-wave potentials of the ferrocenyl moieties in these complexes are all shifted to positive potential compared with that of free 2-chloro-4-ferrocenylbenzoic acid.  相似文献

The preparation of a series of 1,2-phenylenedioxoborylcyclopentadienyl-metal complexes is described. These are of formula [M{η5-C5H4(BX)}Cl3] [M = Ti and X = CAT (2a), CATt (2b) or CATtt (2c); X = CATtt and M = Zr (4a) or Hf (4b)], [M{η5-C5H4(BX)}2Cl2] [M = Zr, X = CAT (3a) or CATt (3c); or M = Hf, X = CAT (3b) or CATt (3d)], [M{(μ-η5-C5H3BCAT)2 SiMe2}Cl2] [M = Zr (5a) or Hf (5b)], [M{η5-C5H3(BCAT)2}Cl3] [M = Zr (6a) or Hf (6b)], [M{η5-C5H4BCAT}3(THF)] [M = La (7a), Ce (7b) or Yb (7c)], [Sn{η5-C5 H4(BCATt)}Cl](8) and [Fe{η5-C5H4(BCATt)}2] (9). The abbreviations refer to BO2C6H4-1,2 (BCAT) and the 4-But (BCATt) and the (BCATtt) analogues. The compounds 2a-9 have been characterised by microanalysis, multinuclear NMR and mass spectra. The single crystal X-ray structure of the lanthanum compound 7a is presented.  相似文献

Ferrocene piano-stool isocyanide complexes ([CpFeL3]+, Cp = η5-C5H5, L = tert-butyl isocyanide (1), cyclohexyl isocyanide (2), and 2,6-dimethylphenyl isocyanide (3)) are formed by chemical oxidation of ferrocene in the presence of a stoichiometric amount of isocyanide ligand (1:3). The complexes are characterized by elemental analysis, routine spectroscopic methods (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and UV-Vis), and cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

Two complexes containing o-ferrocenylbenzoate [o-OOCH4C6Fc, Fc = (η5-C5H5)Fe(η5-C5H4)] components: {[Pb(η2-o-OOCH4C6Fc)2(phen)](NO3)} (phen = phenanthroline) (1) and {[Zn(η2-o-OOCH4C6Fc)2(bpe)](CH3OH)}n (bpe = 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl) ethene) (2) have been synthesized and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. 1 gives a discrete mononuclear framework, 2 features an infinite 1-D chain structure constructed by the bpe linking two adjacent zinc (II) ions. The third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of complexes 1, 2 and the reactant o-NaOOCH4C6Fc were determined by Z-scan techniques in DMF solution. The results show that the structures of complexes have great impact on NLO properties. Complex 1 and o-NaOOCH4C6Fc display self-defocusing behaviors, while complex 2 exhibits strong self-focusing effect. The solution-state differential pulse voltammograms of complexes 1, 2 and o-NaOOCH4C6Fc were investigated as well. The results reveal that the half-wave potential of the ferrocenyl moieties is strongly influenced by the Pb(II) or Zn(II) ions in complexes 1 and 2.  相似文献

The reaction of [Ti(cp)2(BTMSA)] (1) (cp = η5-C5Me5, BTMSA = bis(trimethylsilyl)acetylene) with malonic acids ((HOOC)2CR2, R = H, Me) and N,N-dimethylglycine resulted in the formation of titanium(IV) dicarboxylato complexes [Ti(cp)2{(OOC)2CR2}] (R = H, 2; R = Me, 3) and an α-amino acid titanium(III) complex [Ti(cp)2(OOCCH2NMe2)] (4). The identities of complexes 2-4 were confirmed by microanalysis, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy (2, 3), ESI-MS and CID experiments (2, 3) as well as by ESR and magnetic measurements (μeff = 1.81, 298 K) for 4. Single X-ray diffraction analyses of 2 and 4 exhibited monomolecular complexes in which the titanium atom is distorted tetrahedrally coordinated by two η5-C5Me5 rings and by the chelating bound malonato-κ2O,O′ (2) and N,N-dimethylglycinato-κ2O,O′ ligand (4).  相似文献

Three mono-nuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu(tepza)X]ClO4 (X = Cl, 1; X = NCS, 2; X = dca, 3) and two dinuclear bridging complexes [Cu2(tepza)2(μ-C4O4)](ClO4)2·H2O(4) and [Cu2(tepza)2(μ-C5O5)](ClO4)2(5) where tepza = tris[2-ethyl(1-pyrazolyl)]amine, dca = dicyanamide, C4O42− = 3,4-dihydroxycyclobut-3-ene-1,2-dionate (squarate dianion) and C5O52− = 4,5-dihydroxycyclopent-4-ene-1,2,3-trionate (croconate dianion) were synthesized and structurally characterized by IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy as well as by single X-ray crystallography. In the solid state, the geometry of copper(II) centers in these complexes are as follows: close to SP in 2, distorted TBP in 3, predominant SP in 4, and distorted octahedral in 5, whereas in solution distorted SP geometry was generally found. The squarato and the croconato dianions in complexes 4 and 5 are bridging the two copper(II) centers in cis-bis-monodentate and bis-bidentate bonding modes, respectively. Magnetic susceptibility measurements at variable temperatures (2-300 K) reveal the weak antiferromagnetic coupling in the two bridging dinuclear complexes 4 (= −24.9 cm−1) and 5 (= −3.1 cm−1).  相似文献

Preparation, crystal structures and magnetic properties of new heterodinuclear CuIIGdIII (1) and CuIITbIII (2) complexes [CuLn(L)(NO3)2(H2O)3MeOH]NO3·MeOH (where Ln = Gd, Tb) with the hexadentate Schiff-base compartmental ligand N,N′-bis(5-bromo-3-methoxysalicylidene)propylene-1,3-diamine (H2L = C19H20N2O4Br2) (0) have been described. Crystal structure analysis of 1 and 2 revealed that they are isostructural and form discrete dinuclear units with dihedral angle between the O1Cu1O2 and O1Gd1/Tb1O2 planes equal to 2.5(1)° and 2.6(1)°, respectively. The variable-temperature and variable-field magnetic measurements indicate that the metal centers in 1 and 2 are ferromagnetically coupled (J = 7.89 cm−1 for 1). Crystal and molecular structure of the Schiff base ligand (0) has been also reported. The complex formation changes the conformation of Schiff base ligand molecule.  相似文献

New C-ansa-zirconocene complexes containing methoxythiophenolate and mercaptophenolate ligands have been synthesized and characterized. The reaction of (HSC6H4-n-OMe) (n = 2, 3 or 4) with [Zr{(t-Bu)HC(η5-C5Me4)(η5-C5H4)}Me2] (1) led to the formation of monosubstituted complexes [Zr{(t-Bu)HC(η5-C5Me4)(η5-C5H4)}Me(κ,S-SC6H4-n-OMe)] (= 2 (2); = 3 (3)) and the disubstituted complex [Zr{(t-Bu)HC(η5-C5Me4)(η5-C5H4)}(κ,S-SC6H4-4-OMe)2] (4). The complexes [Zr{(R)HC(η5-C5Me4)(η5-C5H4)}(κ,O-OC6H4-4-SH)2] (R = t-Bu (6); R = CH2CHCH2 (7)) and [Zr(η5-C5H4)2(OC6H4-n-SH)2] (= 3 (9); = 4 (10)) have been synthesized using the corresponding dimethyl zirconocene and mercaptophenol. However, the reaction of [Zr{(t-Bu)HC(η5-C5Me4)(η5-C5H4)}Cl2] (11) with 4-mercaptophenol in the presence of NEt3 led to the formation of the first example of a homoleptic six-coordinate mercaptophenolate complex of zirconium, namely [HNEt3]2[Zr(κ,O-OC6H4-4-SH)6] (12). Complex 12 can be obtained in higher yield by the reaction of ZrCl4 with six equivalents of 4-mercaptophenol and NEt3. The reaction of 12 with [Zr(η5-C5H4)2Cl2] gave the unexpected disubstituted complex [Zr(η5-C5H4)2(OC6H4-4-SH)2] (10). The molecular structures of 4 and 12 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

Four new organotin(IV) complexes [(Bu3Sn)(FcCOO)]n (1), [(μ-Bu2Sn)2(μ-Bu2SnFcCOO)23-O)2(μ-OCH3)2]2 (2), [Ph3Sn(FcCOO)(H2O)](phen) (3) and [{Ph3Sn(FcCOO)}2(4,4′-bipy)] (4) [Fc = (η5-C5H5)Fe(η5-C5H4)] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, (1H and 13C) NMR spectra and X-ray single-crystal diffraction analyses. The structure analyses show that all tin atoms in complexes 1-4 are five-coordinated with trigonal bipyramid geometry. Complexes 1-4 and FcCOOH undergo reversible one-electron oxidations in methanol solution. The antitumor activities of complexes 1-4 have also been tested. Complexes 1 and 2 exhibit medium activity towards P388 cell lines and Hela cell lines. Complexes 3 and 4 exhibit medium activity towards P388 cell lines but strong activity towards Hela cell lines. This may result from complexes 3 and 4 including the neutral molecules 1,10-phenanthroline and 4,4′-bipy.  相似文献

Substitution reaction of chloro η6-arene ruthenium N∩O-base complexes [(η6-arene)Ru(N∩O)Cl] [N∩O = pyrazine-2-carboxylic acid (pca-H), 8-hydroxyquinoline (hq-H); arene = p-iPrC6H4Me, N∩O = hq (1); arene = C6Me6, N∩O = hq (2)] with NaN3 yield the neutral arene ruthenium azido complexes of the general formula [(η6-arene)Ru(N∩O)N3] [N∩O = pca, arene = p-iPrC6H4Me (3), arene = C6Me6 (4); N∩O = hq, arene = p-iPrC6H4Me (5), arene = C6Me6 (6)]. These complexes undergo [3 + 2] dipolar cycloaddition reaction with activated alkynes dimethyl and diethyl acetylenedicarboxylates to yield the arene triazole complexes [(η6-arene)Ru(N∩O){N3C2(CO2R)2}] [N∩O = pca, R = Me, arene = p-iPrC6H4Me (7), C6Me6 (8); R = Et, arene = p-iPrC6H4Me (9), C6Me6 (10); N∩O = hq, R = Me, arene = p-iPrC6H4Me (11) C6Me6 (12); R = Et, arene = p-iPrC6H4Me (13), C6Me6 (14)]. On the bases of proton NMR study, in the above triazole complexes N(2) isomers are assigned with dimethylacetylenedicarboxylate whereas N(1) isomers with diethylacetylenedicarboxylate. All complexes have been characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopy as well as by elemental analysis. The molecular structures of the azido complexes [(η6-p-iPrC6H4Me)Ru(pca)N3] (3), [(η6-p-iPrC6H4Me)Ru(hq)N3] (5) and [(η6-C6Me6)Ru(hq)N3] (6) have been established by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

The 2-methallyl complex [(η5-C9H7)Ru(η3-2-MeC3H4)(PPh3)] (3), prepared from [(η5-C9H7)Ru(PPh3)2Cl] (2) and 2-MeC3H4MgCl, reacts with HX (X = Cl, CF3CO2) in the presence of ethene to give the chiral-at-metal compounds [(η5-C9H7)Ru(C2H4)(PPh3)X] (4, 5) in nearly quantitative yields. Treatment of 2 with AgPF6 and ethene affords [(η5-C9H7)Ru(C2H4)(PPh3)2]PF6 (6), which reacts with acetone to give the substitution product [(η5-C9H7)Ru(OCMe2)(PPh3)2]PF6 (7). The molecular structure of 7 has been determined crystallographically. Whereas treatment of 4 with CH(CO2Et)N2 yields the olefin complex [(η5-C9H7)Ru{η2-(Z)-C2H2(CO2Et)2}(PPh3)Cl] (8), the reactions of 4 and 5 with Ph2CN2, PhCHN2 and (Me3Si)CHN2 lead to the formation of the carbeneruthenium(II) derivatives [(η5-C9H7)Ru(CRR′)(PPh3)Cl] (9-11) and [(η5-C9H7)Ru(CRR′)(PPh3)(κ1-O2CCF3)] (12-14), respectively. Treatment of 9 (R = R′ = Ph), 10 (R = H, R′ = Ph) and 11 (R = H, R′ = SiMe3) with MeLi produces the hydrido(olefin) complexes [(η5-C9H7)RuH(η2-CH2CPh2)(PPh3)] (15), [(η5-C9H7)RuH(η2-CH2CHPh)(PPh3)] (18a,b) and [(η5-C9H7)RuH(η2-CH2CHSiMe3)(PPh3)] (19) via C-C coupling and β-hydride shift. The analogous reactions of 11 with PhLi gives the η3-benzyl compound [(η5-C9H7)Ru{η3-(Me3Si)CHC6H5}(PPh3)] (20). The η3-allyl complex [(η5-C9H7)Ru(η3-1-PhC3H4)(PPh3)] (17) was prepared from 10 and CH2CHMgBr by nucleophilic attack.  相似文献

Photolysis of the molybdaborane [(η5-C5H5)(η51-C5H4)-arachno-2-MoB4H7] (1) in benzene-d6 gives ca. 60% conversion to the compound [(η5-C5H5)(η51-C5H4)-nido-2-MoB4H5] (2). Compound 2 could not be isolated as a solid and is thermally unstable at 20 °C in solution with a half-life of 3-4 h. Repeated photolysis and thermolysis of 1 in the presence of BH3 · thf gives a low yield of the known metallacarbaborane [(η5-C5H5)(η23-C3H3)-closo-1-MoC2B9H9] (3) suggesting that 3 is formed from 1 via 2. Reaction of 1 with PEt3 gives initially [(η5-C5H5)(η51-C5H4)-arachno-2-MoHB4H4PEt3] (4). Longer reaction times (>10 min, 20 °C) give in addition [(η5-C5H5)(η51-C5H4)-arachno-1-MoHB3H3PEt3] (5). Both 4 and 5 are unstable in solution or the solid state decomposing to the molybdacarbaborane [(η5-C5H5)(η32- C3H3)-nido-1-MoC2B3H5] (6), [Mo(η-C5H5)2H2] and BH3 · PEt3. Compound 1 is deprotonated cleanly by KH in thf at the Mo-H-B bridging proton to give (7).  相似文献

Several molybdenum complexes, [Mo(η3-C3H5)X(CO)2(N-N)] (N-N = 1,10-phenanthroline, phen: X = CF3SO3T1, X = Br B1, X = Cl C1; N-N = 2,2′-bipyridyl, X = CF3SO3T2, X = Br B2) and [W(η3-C3H5)Br(CO)2(phen)] (W1) have been synthesized and characterized. Their antitumor properties have been tested in vitro against human cancer cell lines cervical carcinoma (HeLa) and breast carcinoma (MCF-7) using a metabolic activity test (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide, MTT), leading to IC50 values ranging from 3 to 45 μM, approximately. Most complexes exhibited significant antitumoral activity. Complexes B1 and T2 were chosen for subsequent studies aiming to understand their mechanism of action. Cellular uptake of molybdenum and octanol/water partition assays revealed that both B1 and T2 exhibit a selective uptake by cells and intermediate partition coefficients. The binding constants of B1 and T2 with ct DNA, as determined by absorption titration, are 2.08 (± 0.98) × 105 and 3.68 (± 2.01) × 105 M− 1, respectively. These results suggest that they interact with DNA changing its conformation and possibly inducing cell death, and may therefore provide a valuable tool in cancer chemotherapy.  相似文献

A series of mononuclear acetonitrile complexes of the type [Ru(CH3CN)(L)(terpy)]2+ {L = phen (1), dpbpy (3), and bpm (5)}, and their reference complexes [RuCl(L)(terpy)]+ {L = phen (2), dpbpy (4), and dpphen (6)} were prepared and characterized by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, UV-vis spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammograms (CV). Abbreviations of the ligands (Ls) are phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dpbpy = 4,4′-diphenyl-2,2′-bipyridine, bpm = 2,2′-bipyrimidine, dpphen = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, and terpy = 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine. The X-ray structures of the two complexes 2 and 3 were newly obtained. The metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) bands in the visible region for 1, 3, and 5 in acetonitrile were blue shifted relative to those of the reference complexes [RuCl(L)(terpy)]+. CV for all the [Ru(CH3CN)(L)(terpy)]2+ complexes showed the first oxidation wave at around 0.95 V, being more positive than those of [RuCl(L)(terpy)]+. The time-dependent-density-functional-theory approach (TDDFT) was used to interpret the absorption spectra of 1 and 2. Good agreement between computed and experimental absorption spectra was obtained. The DFT approach also revealed the orbital interactions between Ru(phen)(terpy) and CH3CN or Cl. It is demonstrated that the HOMO-LUMO energy gap of the acetonitrile ligand is larger than that of the Cl one.  相似文献
